The Charnett at Mavis has great customer service and is very friendly. Super easy to book an appointment and transparent with wait times. I came twice, once to have my battery cords tightened after a failed emissions test and once for an oil change. She even attached my new wipers. Very happy with the service both times and would recommend Mavis to my friends.
If I could give zero stars I would. I came in to get 4 new tires after reserving my appointment and getting a quote online that was about $300, immediately upon entering I was harassed into giving them a 5 star google review (before any service or real interaction was even given) in exchange for a “free oil change coupon” the coupon which ended up being a Mavis business card with a handwritten “free oil change 😊” on the card with the woman at the front desks name on it. After picking up the car I was told the price was over $500 AND after being told the price the woman at the front desk (Sheila) asked if the price sounded right to me and I said no because no other charges were discussed when I reserved the tires and appointment. She very quickly goes over everything else they “had” to do to my car and at that point I felt conned and frustrated. I paid and left. A month or two later I get a nail in one of the tires and decide to take it back to Mavis assuming i may have a warranty or at the very least they could check whether or not my tires I purchased from them had a warranty on them. I ask at the front desk to pull up my information, all of my personal information was there, but no record of me ever having that appointment to get tires from them! Absolutely absurd. I even showed the woman screenshots of my reservation confirmation for that shop at that location along with the payment that was made to them for the tires! Sounds very fishy to me. Asked for a manager but was told they were not there. I would not trust this place or any of the employees. I left the car there and went to work. They called my a bit later saying they did not have my specific tire in stock and that they would have to order it and replace it the next day and then I was proceed to being harassed about getting brakes and rotors and joining their car payment plan or whatever it was until I got so frustrated I told them to just replace the tire with the most similar one they had to match mine and give me my car back. I’m pretty sure I was overcharged again for the tire. This was the worst experience I ever had with a repair shop and something needs to be done about the funny business some of those employees are up to. DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR TO THIS PLACE!!!!!!!!!!
Marquita is excellent. She is extremely helpful and her customer service is unmatched. Today I was in a bind unable to get my truck serviced and I needed to travel to see my sick grandmother. She had the team stay late to repair my truck and I am forever grateful. Because of her help i am now a lifetime Mavis customer.
I do not like being lied to. Over 2 different phone calls, the total price, before tax, was given by a Mavis Rep and he repeated it a few times and I repeated it 3 times to confirm. When I get to the store at my appointment time, the cost is $28 more for the 2 tires I ordered. The front desk employee said I was not given all the charges over the phone for 2 new tires to be installed. Money is not the problem. The problem is not being told the truth. And my vehicle was not taken back for 2 hours and 55 minutes after my appointment time. If I ran my business that way, I probably would not retain my clients.
This was my first time trying Mavis. I would say the work was fine, I got two new rear tires and an alignment and the car feels fantastic, however, I made an appointment for 1pm. I was there on time and I was told it would be 1hr 45min.... What is the point of an appointment if I have to wait 2 hours for my car to get two new tires? I called around 3:30 to see where the car was at and I was told it was getting worked on. I got a call just before 4pm saying the car needed an alignment and that it would take 20-30min. So my car was all finished at 4:30, 3.5 hours after I dropped it off. On top of the wait, the balance machine and air drill totally hacked up my rims. This is a tell tale sign of laziness in a shop. I will be going to the dealer or back to discount tire from now on.
Front desk people were nice, but someone left my car unlock (I for sure locked it as I have for years) especially knowing it would be there for days.. my car was broken into and all of my things were stolen, I’m in the process of moving so losing all of my valuable items due to negligence of this company saddens me. I was told by corporate that they aren’t liable.. but they have my keys and it was in their parking lot. Definitely wouldn’t go back again due to the non concern for all of my property in my vehicle stolen.
I just left this location. Made an appointment for 3pm today for an oil change. I arrived at 3pm sharp, my car was serviced around 4pm. Upon inspection, they found that my shocks were blown and needed replacing, which I was fine with. My shocks were changed within 60 minutes and at a somewhat fair rate. My oil was also changed. In the end, I still dont think Ill return due to non-adherence to appointment times.
Marquita and Erica were wonder ladies and very very helpful. I greatly appreciate their customer service, professionalism and helpful information. They communicated with me every step of my vehicles process, allowed me to make the best choice and option for my vehicle remaining transparent the entire time. Thank you so much for these ladies.
I am pretty sure this place messed my car up/is the cause of my “SUDDEN” car issues. I took my car there Monday (6/13) to get 2 new tires. The overall process took 4 1/2 hours to put on TWO tires. I literally fell asleep in there lobby, woke up & they took another 45 minutes. Now Wednesday, (6/15) my car is overheating & all of a sudden cuts off on the freeway. I have NEVER HAD ANY ISSUES WITH THIS CAR IN MY YEARS OF HAVING IT… NEVER ONE!!! Two days after leaving this place; suddenly my car is overheating, sputtering & cutting off. I now have to take it to a dealership to find out what they did under my hood!!! If I could get footage from the garage I would… I am completely livid & genuinely do not recommend this business!!! Especially after reading the reviews… I wish I had before!!!
Charnett with Mavis tires and brakes was kind and informational she provided excellent customer service. I was greeted with a smile and if she didn’t know an answer to a question she worked to get the correct answer. Mavis on Cheshire Bridge saved me some money on my brakes and tho it took some time it was worth it. One thumbs up.
I went to this location to have my brakes and suspension checked on my 2019 Chrysler 300. I spoke with the manager Jeremy about dropping off my car and went home until it was done once my car was done I was told my brakes and suspension fell under warranty so it would be free of charge but he went ahead without my permission and changed my windshield wipers because they looked worn. Later that night we had terrible thunderstorms and the new wipers snapped (on the driver side) while on the expressway during the storm digging a unrepairable scratch in to my windshield. I returned the next day to get help and was told it would be replaced that was over two months ago no solution at all. Jeremy doesn’t call back and follow up when he does he waits until the end of the day to reach out so he never has to do what he actually says before getting off work and further delaying the issue. My car is still under contract and I don’t feel like it’s good business practice to force sell a product on a customer which ultimately turned out to be defective and now are giving me the run around about rectifying the situation.
Thank you so much . I had to tow my vehicle to Mavis today. After a 3 hour wait for my tow, i was so relieved to walk in the door . I had called Erika ahead if time and she was the epitome of on point when I got there . It was late in the day , she called each customer by name and we were in and out with a smile . I could tell she knows her job well and that she enjoys it . Thank you . Mean it
They try to pressure unneeded services! My gf went in for an oil change and they called her and said her brakes needed to be replaced immediately and it was dangerous to drive. She declined bc she had warranty. They tried to pressure her by saying they weren’t comfortable her leaving the shop with brakes in her condition. She still smartly declined. She immediately took her car to a reputable shop and they did a full brake inspection and said her brakes were in great condition. Was hoping to have a convenient shop in the neighborhood for just an oil change, but Mavis is not trustworthy.
First time visiting this location. Great customer service and very knowledgeable about the brake problems I was having. I had the pleasure of working with Marquita in the service department, they took great care of me. I recommend mavis on Cheshire bridge road to anyone having care problems.
Totally disappointed. This mavis is appointment only. I set my appointment 2 weeks ago for 11 am on a Saturday. I get here at 11:05 and they tell me that it’ll be 3/4 pm before they can actually work it. I say ok “I’ll bring the car back” because I had not planned for a TIRE REPLACEMENT to take 5-6 hours. They said if I leave I lose my spot. How when I had an appointment and it’ll be 5 hours before they can even LOOK at the car. I told them I’d be back in 2 hours (1:00 pm, 3 hours before they say they can look) and they said I would lose my spot. Then the front desk lady “Erica” goes to say that people called out or didn’t show up on time. How is that the customers problem?! I am not mad that it’s going to take way longer than expected, I am upset that I am expected to be understanding for their issues but they wouldn’t accommodate me for 2 hours even tho they can’t look at it anytime soon. Very disappointed and if I didn’t need a new tire today I would of left. Please choose a better place to get your car serviced.
The shop did a great job fixing the mistakes of the other shop, though it took longer than expected. The service was good from reception to technician. They actually called when they said they would. That should be baseline customer service, but thats where the bar is.
I’ve been using this location for years so I took my jeep Cherokee in to get it checked out. After replacing my battery for $215 and then telling me I needed a new Alternator $800 my jeep was STILL having the same issues! Then I was told after spending $1000 they don’t know what’s wrong with it and I’ll need to take it somewhere else! The WORST service!!!! The worst knowledge I’ve ever experienced at a service dept.. I will never use this place again and I will tell everyone I know that this place sucks and do not go!!!! The dealership I ended up taking my jeep to said I didn’t need either things replaced that was replaced! Horrible experience and $1000 for nothing!
Never do business with this company. Dropped car off TH at 3PM, had appointment to plug tire at 6:30PM on TH. I decided to pick up the car FRI morning. Went back to get car Friday, nothing had been done. Mavis called twice to report car ready. Went back Sat morning to get car, nothing had been done. They charged us for a new tire and alignment that clearly had not been done. I wanted a tire plug. Got a refund for alignment but had to pay $200 for new tire which I probably did not need. Finally left at noon Sat from the appt that was 6:30 TH. Just a nail in the tire. The Mavis on Lavista Road changed truck oil and did not put any oil back in the truck and we drove off. Never go to Mavis Tire for anything.
I ordered 4 Tires to be sent here for installment on 6/4/22.. I go in that day and the tires arent there and Im told must be a supply chain issue with the postal service. Seems reasonable enough. So I call just about every day for the next 10 days... still no arrival. I decide Ive had enough so I go back in person to ask where they are. Workers decide to actually check and all of a sudden they find 2. I reassure them that Ive already paid for 4 and 2 isnt getting the job done. All of a sudden they find a 3rd tire, and somebody from the back yells out wait the 4th one is in there too.I come back 6 hours later, nobody has touched my car, I wait another 2 hours, and they finish only to tell me they never found the 4th, and my car has 3 tires on it. I call Tire Buyer who tells me their record states that Eddie Hill signed off on my Tire delivery for all 4 on 6/7/22... they dont install anything until 6/19/22 and Im still missing a tire. They order the 4th, I come back 2 days later to get the 4th and Im told Im 6th in line for my installment....This whole ordeal has taken the better part of a month now. They couldnt install them all at once because they either sold my tires to somebody else or lost them - and either way they lied to me face about it and blamed somebody else. I come back to finally have my business sorted out and they once again take all day to literally bolt on one single tire.To anybody reading this do not ever take your vehicle here. Dont call them, dont schedule maintenance, dont buy anything. They will lie to you, and they will ignore you until they are ready for you to leave their store.Could not imagine a worse experience.
My experience with Mavis tires on Cheshire bridge rd.in Atlanta was very professional and efficient thanks to Marchet in Customer service and Darius the technician who serviced my car,Their knowledge and resourcefulness was key in my ability to make the right decision for the best product Mavis tires had to offer me.
My customer service rep couldn’t have been more apathetic with regards to my existence, let alone as to what was wrong with my car. I met my scheduled appointment at 10am and by 1pm hadn’t heard a thing. I called and spoke to the same person and received the same callous disregard. They did repair it by the end of the day which was what I requested. The same apathetic customer service rep asked me to do this survey.
One star is too many. I see why you people had a class action against you resolved in March. I have never seen anything like this before until now. Looks like Mavis tire, that store above in particular needs another class action started against them. If youre reading this and need new tires, JohnQConsumer? Keep looking elsewhere. I dont believe you can get any worse service than these monkeys 🙊🙊🙊 at THIS location.
Terrible experience. They put the wrong brand tires and wrong size tires on my car; the only way I found out was because I noticed the error myself. When I took it back, they weren’t very apologetic at all. What should have taken 2-3 hours took two full days. Would not trust my car with this location again.
Spent almost 4 hours and 400$ on two tires and they only aligned the new tires. I got on the highway and almost crashed because my car was shaking so bad. I took it back and they tried to finesse me into paying for 2 more tires. Then tried to say they wouldn’t align the old set to match what they put in. I refused to leave and they eventually aligned them.
My friend needed a tire, and they were booked up and getting ready to close. We had like 5 kids with us stranded trying to figure it out for 2 hrs. Well let me tell you they turned around and said we will go ahead and change the tire..I swear if they never did we would be stuck. Thank you so much 🙏🏾🙌🏾
Marquita the manager told me that my oil had been changed using high mileage oil. My car started making a ticking noise 1 month later, so I took it to my usual place in Sandy Springs.The team mentioned that my oil level was extremely low and that my car was burning oil. Long story short, Marquita offered me a discounted oil change in exchange for a positive Google review, but did not actually complete the services that I asked for.I do not recommend taking your car here.
Be carful!They told me that my car battery dont have problem I just need to leave the car with them to see what is the problem. next they they told me we change the battery ! your cars battery guaranty after two years it is not covering all of that and I payed more than 80 percent of the battery!!!!!!
AMAZING!!!! It was pouring rain, the streets were a mess, and I came out of Home Depot with one tire quickly loosing air. Marquita, Keven and another older gentleman were beyond nice and helpful! I am leaving on a 10 day trip and was running all over town trying to get my PCR covid test and really didnt need a long wait or an expensive tire outcome! I cannot say enough about how wonderful, efficient, and helpful they were! Thank you! Thank you! I will be back and recommend you to all of my friends!!!!!!
This location would not service my vehicle for an alignment without committing to what was probably $2000 of parts and labor. I took my vehicle to another Mavis location which happily performed my alignment in a very short amount of time.I dont like upselling. They claimed i needed new struts (when i personally replaced my struts 2 years ago), tires and control arms. Its possible their policy is to bark out expected maintenance items if you have a high mileage car, but these things should be checked to determine if its necessary. Dont just tell me i need $1000+ in service without actually confirming.Having knowledge of your vehicle will help you determine whether a shop is trying to pull a fast one on you or not.
Had a terrible experience . First of all I was made a buy a tire more expensive than what could have been possible . Then they charged me for tire rotation - in spite of the fact that the tires were all bought from them over a period of time and my understanding was that it was going to be free tire rotation. What really did it for me was - they completely messed up the alignment - and now I have to go elsewhere and pay to get that fixed , because I am surely not going back to Mavis Tires ! Be careful !
Do not go here - they do not have the consumers interest in mind. It is the type of auto shop that will put new parts (in my case, both wrong tires which resulted in a material upcharge and blades/wipers, etc.) on your car without your consent and then shows up on the bill at the end.The team put the wrong tires on my car that resulted in an additional $200 charge, or I also couldve left my car in the shop another day which I couldnt afford to do because of work & travel schedules.The team did not come close to meeting time deadlines. I dropped off my car early morning, with the mutual expectation that my car would be ready by close of business and fully acknowledging that I needed new tires. The team did not call me until 2pm and said it was too late to order tires at this point and would need to hold car overnight.Poorly run operation.
This past weekend I noticed a screw in one of the tires on my vehicle. I took the tire to Mavis fully expecting to leave it for a while to have a repair done. It was a Sunday, they were busy, so when I was told it would be the next day I completely understood.Much to my surprise, when I dropped the tire off at the garage bay the technician (and I’m embarrassed I didn’t get his name) told me he’d fix it right then. In short order he returned my tire with the repair done, then he refused to accept any payment! I was equally surprised with that.I really appreciated their customer service, and I look forward to continuing to give them business. I highly recommend them.
Just had tires, brakes, struts and other work completed on my auto. It was finished in a timely manner and the staff was very friendly. I received outstanding customer service from Marquita Williams and Erica Williams! They deserve 5 Stars and Mavis should be proud of these employees. This is now my “go to” auto garage and store in the future.
Great place and amazing service!!! Went in for AC check and repair, everything was exactly what you would want, they were friendly, quick and very reasonable price. I couldnt have been happier. Normally when getting my car serviced, its a bit of a pain and I always worry about getting ripped off, but not here, they are true professionals and really awesome. Marquita, Jeremy and Mr. Eddie are the best, if you have any car issues, definitely take it to them, youll get honest, fast and friendly service. Ill be going back there anytime I need anything done. Mavis Tires and Brakes has been my family’s go to auto shop for a long time now, and they never fail to do an amazing job! I had my Jeep’s oil changed today with them, and as always, they did an excellent job of getting it done in a timely manner. The employees here are also super friendly, and overall the customer service is awesome. 10/10 recommend this place!
The manager, front desk lady and technicians are all so friendly and amazing. They were very polite and patient with me and the questions and my constant appointment changes. They were upfront with pricing right away. I got my car in only a few hours time. They are the only ones we take our cars for service.
I had a great experience today at Mavis Tires on Cheshire Bridge Rd. The guys who do my regular car service discovered I had a nail in one tire and a piece of wire stuck in another. I thought for sure I would have to get new tires. When I went to pick up the car they said neither object had penetrated the tires, only the surface, so they removed them and I was good to go. And they didnt charge me a penny. I was pleasantly surprised and very grateful. I highly recommend Jeremy. He offered wonderful, friendly, warm customer service.
I have been coming to Mavis Tire and Brakes for the last 7 years (before it was Mavis). The name has changed but the level of customer service and the quality of service has been consistently first class from day one. They seriously raise the bar for their industry. I am so grateful and will support and promote Mavis Tire as long as I am able! Without hesitation! Thanks Markita and the rest of the crew here!
Being that I’m not from this area, I found the location online and Marquita was very helpful. I was unsure about my tire sizes and thanks to her being knowledgeable, she was able to help me and get me exactly what I needed. Keep up the great work and I appreciate the patience that was given to me and you remaining professional, being that I asked several questions.
Erica at the front was absolutely amazing. She was friendly and helpful in every interaction. I needed emergency work done and the team here helped get me what I needed and serviced extremely fast and had me back on the road same day. I am so glad to not have to leave the city to get great service from a friendly team!
Fast, fair, and caring. When my car really needed to be serviced before going out of town and the place I previously booked at just did not show up to work the morning after the Braves won the World Series (Go Braves!, but it left me in a pickle) I called here and they got me in and out and on the road!! Marquita at the front desk is the best!!! Will return for future service
Erica helped me with services today on my tires. This is a really great place to go for car needs. Unfortunately, everyone seems to know that, so you will be waiting on your car. But its not the worst thing they try their best to move fast and efficiently! Thanks Mavis!
These guys are the nicest and are so professional I’ve been coming here for about two years now and have had two different cars worked on here. They are so courteous, friendly and very informative. I’m going to continue to keep using them for any car services that I may need in the future 😄
Extremely happy with my services thus far. Needed a tire replaced quickly. They ordered it and got it put on within a few days. Recently went there for new front brakes and so far so good. No issues and pricing was great; less than anticipated. Unfortunately I have to get a new rim because of the previous tire issue, but they advised me on all my options and pointed me in the right direction if I wanted to repair it. Hoping not to need them too often but I feel pretty confident of services if I do.
Didn’t check if the car was done even after they told me it was. Don’t have an eta on when I can get it back. Only has 3 lugs on it and waiting to get more after told they were being delivered. Showed up still not delivered to the Mavis tire.After waiting outside a worked a walked up to me asking what car I was waiting for. Told him and than he told me the manager cancel the order for my lug nuts and they are now re getting them.
AMAZING experience at Mavis Cheshire location! Friendly, knowledgeable, efficient quality work at a fair price! They really helped me out when I was stranded and needed a battery replaced. The manager at the front desk Ms. Marquita, and the gentleman who performed the work (Mr. Eddie, I believe) went above and beyond to accommodate me and had me back on the road in no time! First rate service all the way! Thankful I found them open on a Sunday! Cant say enough positive things about the team!
I’ve been taking my car and my wife’s car here sine they opened in this location. Employees are’ always very friendly and professional and they only do the work that is required and don’t try to upsell you on additional things that aren’t necessarily needed. I have however experienced unnecessary upselling at other tire places.

This is my first time at Mavis and they’ve exceeded my expectations! I blew my tire out and was able to get my car over here. Korey took care of me right away and offered me a great deal on a new tire and service. He was beyond polite and professional and I’m so thankful Mavis was able to help me in a pinch. 10/10 would recommend and definitely ask for Korey if you want 5 star service!
This is my second time working with Mavis Cheshire Bridge. This location is convenient because I live up the street. The customer service reps are always polite, understanding, helpful, and knowledgeable. I appreciate the extra mile they go to make sure you are comfortable leaving your vehicle. I have had my tires done and oil change here. I plan to come back if any further works needs to be done. Affordable and efficient place!
Sheila did a great job with my vehicle! The tires were priced lower than the other shops in this area, and while I thought I needed new brakes she called to let me know they were fine and I just needed a brake flush! Most shops would sell you the more expensive service even if you didn’t need it. Repairs were done quickly and within their price estimate and time estimate. I’ll be back!
I had an exceptional experience at Mavis Tires & Brakes at the Douglasville GA location. Upon arriving the manager greeted me and was ready to set up services for my Kia. His assistant stepped in to complete the order for an oil change. They checked everything that was required as part of an oil change to my satisfaction and gave me some awesome discounts. I was able to leave in a short manner of time. I would highly recommend that you patronage this facility. You will be 100% satisfied with there service.
I arrived at Mavis tire before they opened at 8 AM, as I had lost air in one tire probably from a nail. I was told they would get to it right away, so I went to McDonald’s and came back about an hour later and it was untouched! I asked again when they would get to it and they pulled it into the bay about 15 minutes later. About a half hour later they came out and said I needed a whole new tire. That took another hour! I wish people would be honest about the wait. Next time I will have someone drop me off there and come back when it is finished. Actually, next time I will find a different tire service.
This place is AWESOME! Stopped by first thing this morning with a tire loosing air. They quickly diagnosed the issue as a bad stem valve and replaced it within 30m and sent me on my way. What a great experience. These folks treated me as if they truly enjoy their job and creating a great customer experience. Nice!
I am very disappointed in the service I received from Mavis Tire & Brakes at 2350 Cheshire Bridge Rd. I expect more from this company. I chose Mavis because I expected honest and efficient service and never thought I would be taken advantage of.I made an appointment to change one set of breaks, decided to go with the team members advise and changed both sets— she explained that the rotors can go bad if you wait too long with changing brake pads.Two hours later and multiple 10, 15 min eta from the team, I was still waiting on my car.A gentleman finally helped me close my bill. The bill was almost $1,000 – I was shocked why brake pads were so expensive. I was told that I agreed to change my rotors and my breaks. I certainly did not and no, it was not a miscommunication.Total time there was nearly 3 hours to get my brake pads changed.Finally, my car was making a strange sound when trying to drive off the premises. I was told that will go away. I will get someone else to investigate this issue.
I was definitely pleased with the service I received at Mavis Tire. Marquita greeted me as soon as I entered the shop and was very professionals in assisting me with my tire change request. They had very courteous and knowledgeable mechanics working on my car. Jeremy and Ivan worked on my vehicle and did a very a efficient job in a timely manner. I would recommend Mavis to anybody in the Atlanta area in need automotive service!
What a pleasure it was to do business with the staff at Mavis! I was pleasantly surprised that they were even open today (yesterday was the 4th of July, so a lot of businesses are closed), but they opened exactly on time and I was greeted at the door by a lovely young woman who assured me that they could get me on the road without a long wait. She went out to take a look at my flat tire, and gave me several options for replacements. No upselling, just tires that ranged in price and performance. It was less than an hour from the time I walked in to the time I drove away. You cant ask for better service, and both employees that I talked to were very helpful and competent.
Ive been here twice, first for a nail in my tire and second for an emissions check. It took them 3 hours before they looked at my tire and a whopping 5 minutes to fix it. They fixed it well, so I guess that counts.Second time I went in, I called and asked if I needed an appointment for emissions. I was told no. I went in. They told me they were only taking appointments because they were understaffed. Really?
Having moved from Iowa, I was in dire need of finding a place to get my brakes and rotors looked at. I brought my car to Mavis in November 2020 and got excellent service and repairs. I even came back for my oil change and planned on having this location be my go to location. However, by only June 2021, I need to replace my rotors and brake pads once again. How can that be the case?? Regardless I brought it in to get it repaired, they told me it would be worked on right away but 4 hours later I’m still here waiting, only to be brushed off by one of the associates (Corey) in a condescending tone of how car service is not like fast food service, how I needed to be patient, that my car was so rusted that he didn’t want to rush the repairman and so on and so forth. Additionally, when I told him I wasn’t informed of the time or length it would take and I had somewhere to be, all he told me is that I could take and Uber and leave it with them or just keep waiting and before I could respond, literally spoke to the person behind me “how can I help you”. All I wanted to know if it would take an additional hour or two, not get a condescending lecture about the condition of my car, my inability to wait, etc etc. Afterwards, he attempted to show me the underside of my car and when I refused (because I knew how rusty my car was and I was already upset about the interaction) and had a conversation with me about our interaction, as I began writing this review, that was an essential “I am sorry you felt that way” and “I am sorry that our personalities didn’t mesh” and so on and so forth. He told me he got great reviews, encouraged me to look him up and so forth, and out of the 100+ he’s had, I’m probably the only one that felt this way. And that I can write my review and he’ll take it up with the district and so forth. While I know that I can’t hold everyone to the same regard, and it was unfair of me to ask that my car be addressed quickly. But for spending over 600$ here, I didn’t need to be spoken with condescendingly (evident by the way he spoke to other MEN that came in as compared to me) feel less than/embarrassed or with an overall disregard and I really didn’t need to cry in a car repair shop on a Monday. I guess next time I’ll just send my boyfriend.
DON’T GO HERE. I went to have my wheel bearings replaced. It took several days to replace with only me calling for any news or updates about the car. I was told one day it was ready only to show up and it not be ready. Then when I finally picked up the car, the battery was dead. An employee/possible manger stated “Did you get my text about your battery, it’s leaking acid”. I explained I received no calls or text and I know they had the right number because they verified it with me when I dropped off the car. Then when he is jump starting the car, he explained they had to jump start the car to get it out of the garage and into a parking spot a few yards away. But of course no mention of any of this until I had paid and was walking out the door. And even then they didn’t explain the car probably wouldn’t start or that the battery had already died. But wait, that’s not the worst part, I had a bag of clothing in the back, needless to say it was going to goodwill anyways, but the entire bag is missing. I would probably had forgotten about it but there was 3 pieces of clothing from the tied bag, that was in my trunk, in my front passenger seat. Absolutely ridiculous. Here’s to hoping they actually replaced the parts they say they did.
On my road trip across country , My tire began to rapidly lose air and I had just enough time to get to Mavis ! I needed a whole new tire and They were friendly and helped me get back on the road efficiently and effectively ! Shout out to Marquita! And the rest of the crew !
Amazing team at this location!! From moment I walked in I was greeted with smiles and great customer service from the team , Sheila and Mike. Everything was explained, needs met and I was in and out much sooner than I would have expected. Customer service over the top and they are a perfect example of what great customer service is!! I will return for other needs and also make sure I refer friends coworkers and family!!! Great job but I would like to give a huge shout out to Sheila and Mike for taking such good care of me!!! You guys rock!!!
They answered as DeKalb tire for Volvo station wagon, asked for price quote for brake pads replacement for all four wheels. The person who answered lied saying that I would need rotors without even looking at the car 🤣 and it would cost $800. I asked for a quote for just the pads and was told to come in. No thanks, your website states $114.99 per axle.
My experience was one of customer service at its best!! This was throughout my time in the store. The staff at this location were able to provide me with an experience thatll be sure to bring me back! From assisting me with the right tires for my car, explaining what I needed to have a smooth ride to offering me the option of Flexpay!! This allowed me the option to pay over time and still get all I needed done. I really appreciated this option. Also Id like to spot light the customer specialist Marquita (I believe this is her correct name, forgive me if I spelled it wrong ) she works in the service bay area. I witnessed her assist a member that had a big concern who became upset at the store. Marquita de-escalate the situation, handled the customer request, answered questions of her team, orchestrated the whole store on what needed to take place to ensure that customer, her technicians and even myself were all satisfied!! She did all of this with leveled thinking, consistent direction and calm attitude that showed her team that we can handle this! Needless to say....I was more than impressed!! This location will get my business again!!
Dropped off a tire to get patched, was told it’d be ready the following day. When I called at 4pm the following day after not hearing from them, I was placed on two 15 minute holds and then hung up on. Called back, no answer. By the time I drove to the store, it was closed. Came the following day and asked about my tire and they had no clue what I was talking about until they found it in the back. It hadn’t been touched and they had to work on it then.Patch job was fine, but overall an awful customer experience and likely will not return because they simply do not care. I would avoid this location and potentially mavis in total if you can.
Corey was super awesome today. I was having a bad morning getting the run around with other shops. I walked into this Mavis and instantly got a breath of fresh air with the politeness and warm welcome. My issue got fixed and my day was so much better! I will be returning. Thank you!
Ive bought tires and had service work done at Mavis on Cheshire Bridge for several years now. They are always courteous and do the work quickly and at a reasonable price. A year ago I got a nail in the sidewall of one of my tires and ended up spending a third more at a competitor (with indifferent counter staff) for the very same style of tire. Always been back to Mavis since. And recommend you take that option too, theyre great people.
Marquitta is so rude and horrible when it comes to customer service experience. She wouldn’t cover the respected warranty that’s supposed to be honored at all stores. Her attitude with the manager at my home location was rude as well as she hung up the phone on him. While I love the Mavis and Tires located in my hometown, I wouldn’t come to be serviced at this location. I don’t recommend this location at all. She honestly should be fired for her attitude demeanor and customer service.
Called Mavis looking to replace a single Copper GLS Touring (215/50R17) tire and was informed they had one in stock and would have it delivered before my appointment. I dropped my car off and a few hours later I received a call that the tire I needed was discontinued and the one they had in stock was not delivered. I asked when the delivery truck had come and I was told around 11:30, my appointment was at 1 so there was plenty of time to either call me before I dropped my car off or let me know once I had arrived. At this point they already had my car so I decided to just get all new tires. My car was ready later than promised and after all this I was pressured by the staff to leave a good review. This made me very uncomfortable and is extremely unprofessional. The quality of the work was fine, but the customer service was unacceptable.I would recommend taking your business elsewhere if considering going here.Side note: Only one staff member was wearing a mask
I made an appointment for 10:30 and indicated I would wait in store. They said about 45-60 minutes to replace all 4 tires (which I brought with me to the store).It is 2 hours and 15 minutes later and they STILL have not even moved my car into the area where they put on the new tires!It seems that in APPOINTMENT in their mind is just the time that the customer will show up!!! It is completely unrelated to when they will work on the vehicle!ONLY saving grace is there is a McDonalds next door, but I can only eat so much while waiting!
This is the most horrendous and exhausting service I have ever experienced.I bought a set of tires (Bridgestone Turanza QuietTrack) on Amazon from Tires-easy on 09/10/2021. I selected the accompanying tire installation shop and appointment date (Mavis Tires & Brakes #628Appointment:Thursday, September 23, 20213:00 PM - 4:00 PMLocation: 2350 Cheshire Bridge Road,, Atlanta, US 30324).I recieved a notification that the tires were delivered on 09/15/2021 via FedEx. My tire installation date was confirmed by Mavis tires via text for 09/23/2021.I ended work early and I arrived at the tire shop on the day of my appointment 30 minutes prior to the scheduled time. Lo and behold after waiting for almost 2 hours I was told that my tires could not be located in their inventory. They asked me to get in touch with Amazon and the seller to confirm if delivery was actually made. I have tried to get in touch with Tires-easy but to no avail. The only means was via the messaging platform on Amazon and it would typically take at least 48 hours to receive a response. Presently Im driving around with worn out and unsafe front tires. Its just been an exhausting dilemma.
Great service!! I booked an appointment to have my tires replaced and Corey was very helpful on the phone with all the information I needed to know before the appointment. Marqeta took care of my car and answered any questions I had, she had my car finished within a couple hours!
I will not return to this business in the future! This place was much better as Kaufman Tire. Initially went went for a flat repair and ended up buying 2 new tires totaling almost $500. The installation time was 4 hours more than expected. I had to return 2 weeks later for a nail I picked up in one of the new tires in which they charged me $25 to repair. That same tire was leaking again a week later so it was another $25 to repair. Upon each of my visits I arrived at opening time. The employees are never on time to work and the place generally opens about 10 - 15 minutes late. On my last visit, 4/30/2020 the only tech they had was almost 2 hours late to work so we all sat waiting. People with scheduled appointments were upset, canceling their appointments, and walking out. They also had a mass scramble because they lost someones keys on my second visit. From my observations this place is a cluster and I never saw the same garage staff twice.
Absolute worst car service I’ve ever experienced. Came in to get a slow leak fixed. They told me there was a nail in the tire, then told me there wasn’t and said there wasn’t a leak at all which was BS. The wait was forever and the staff was unhelpful. I ended up taking my car and leaving. Also told me brakes were bad.Went to Goodyear, they patched the leak in my tire and told me brakes were fine.Sexist, rude, useless and unqualified.DO NOT COME HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE SCAMMED!!!!
Thank you Maveis for coming through with great tires that I desperately needed for my car. Marquita new exactly what I needed and the job happened quickly and smoothly. It’s obviou s that the Manager Jeremy knows how to run the shop as he keeps a very steady workflow and all employees work with smiles on their faces.
You may see another rating with my name and that because the guy who works in the place did one without my consent. But the real review is here. For 1 it’s extremely misleading to be doing customer reviews on customers phone’s acting as if a good job was done. They are very unprofessional here. 2 guys working in the front one light skin and the other dark skin guy with tats. The one with tats was very unprofessional and forged a positive review even though my experience was not even close to that. He was on the phone the entire 5 hours I was there. Only a few( maybe 2) tecs actually know what they are doing. Saw 1 technician who did even know how to put a tire on(badly trained). Made an appointment for 9:30 and still didn’t leave out until 1:45. Wasn’t that busy just a lack of process and wayyy too much talking. The light skin technician is beyond a doubt the best in there at least he was today. The guy who works in the front office(dark skin with tats) is completely useless and Honestly not trustworthy and deceiving. Watch him argue with a customer about her car even though she clearly set an appointment. He even tried to generically say “that’s why we gave you a courtesy call” and when she denied any calls he said “oh our bad then”. I would not trust any review on this page honestly after he did one on my behalf. Try at your own risk. You definitely don’t have to believe me. But this place is ran and managed very bad. I watched them the entire time because honestly I didn’t think they’d actually do any work. They had cars in and out in no time but when I watch my car the entire time it took over 4 hours. I had never been here before, but I worked with Jerry and Sheila when I got two tires replaced and my shocks done last weekend - they were wonderfully pleasant and polite. I enjoyed working with them and felt comfortable leaving my car with them. They laid out pricing honestly, and didnt try to sell me on unnecessary work, which is my biggest concern with mechanics. I feel good in knowing Ill be going back in a couple of weeks for my brakes. Thanks guys!
Mavis Tires & Brakes on Cheshire Bridge saved my day when I found I nail lodged in one of my tires. Everyone I spoke with was knowledgeable and friendly. In short order, they removed the nail, patched the hole ,and sent me on my way. I definitely would go back and recommend to others Mavis Tire on Cheshire Bridge for all tire services.
I was traveling for an event and caught a flat tire a few days ago. Marquita was awesome, she was very polite and fast with making sure my car was fixed so I wouldn’t be late to the event. I really appreciate her for help me and I would recommend taking your vehicle to list location. Quick service and caring staff.
The only reason I give this place a 5 star is because of the outstanding customer service Markita gave me. The older lady at the front desk was very mean and tried to turn me away and I was on a flat tire. I called before I got there and was told to come and they had the tire but when I got the the lady up front tried to turn me around and I tried to explain to her I had called and this was an emergency. Markita came from the back and I started explaining to her and showed her my car that I couldnt drive it anymore and she really went out her way to help for me to get service done She should be the manager and have an customer service class with the lady up front. Once my car was done the girl that brought me my car back was very friendly to I think her name was Jade. She was great with her service. Thanks to you both I was able to make it home safely
Oh man, my experience was nothing but excellent from the moment I stepped in. Special kudos to the two super-helpful staff members Markitta & Jeremy as they both made extra-sure my damaged tire got fixed promptly and that I was being taken cared of. I wasn’t aware that NTB was bought out by Mavis at the time of service, but since I am familiar with NTB and the brand, I felt confident that Mavis would provide quality service and maintenance for my vehicle. During the time of service, I was traveling for a funeral and the Service Manager Marquita is HEAVENSENT. I experienced two flat tires at the worst possible time. Due to being understaffed, my car couldn’t get serviced the same day, but Marquita was amazing and allowed me to leave my car at the lot and she was great about communicating when the vehicle was done and making sure things were done properly. Due to a lack of communication, I had some issues when picking up my Car but Marquita was very understanding, apologetic, and patient. I also had issues with the tire pressure light and she wouldn’t let me leave without fixing the issue. I was pressed for time, but she was patient. She offered me a time to review the service done on my car and completed my service without any issues. She even reviewed the process with her staff to ensure that they were aware of how to reprogram a car to avoid issues like this in the future.THANK YOU for your time but also thank you for listening and understanding. Great customer service!
I just want to say thank-you to Jeremy, Michael, and Sheila. They gave me amazing service from start to finish. I came in, in a bit of a rush because I had an appointment that was far and there was a tear in my tire. This was not the original Mavis I purchased at however Jeremy immediately ordered the tire I needed whilst Michael placed my spare on to make it to my appointment in time. The next day I came in and they had the tire ready and Sheila handled everything I needed at the register she offered me a warranty and assisted me with sanitizing the workspace. They are truly amazing. I definitely recommend this Mavis tire location!
I originally wrote a glowing review of Mavis Tire & Brake, which now must change. I had picked up a nail in my tire back in October. I had AAA come and put on my spare so that I could either have the tire repaired or purchase a new tire. I required a new tire which they ordered for me. When it came in I left my car and walked home. I went back the next morning to pick up my car.it never dawned on me that I should check to verify that they returned my spare to the trunk. I mean I would have thought that would be standard procedure that they automatically do that. Well, they did not!!! I only discovered this when i hit a pot hole on I 75 a couple of Saturdays ago and had to call AAA only to discover my spare was missing.it has now been over 2 weeks of changing stories and being given the run around. I am disgusted with Mavis. You can rest assured I will not spend another penny at that company. since this happened I have heard other horror stories from other dissatisfied people. My advice, AVODI AT ALL COSTS!!!!Update: I went into another tire store near me this morning. Just to pick up a business card. I was telling the manager my story, there were 3 other customers in the store. None of them had anything good to say about your company. They ALL had horror stories about episodes at Mavis Tire & Brake on Cheshire Bridge Road.You can post your sympathetic response on the Internet if you want. It does NOT match experiences of actual customers. The vet tech at my vet was correct. Mavis Tire & Brake is trash!!!
This place has no idea what they are doing and provide awful service. I took my car in early this year because my tire pressures kept getting low and I thought I need to replace them. They replaced the back two, and did an alignment; all that Jazz. A week later the tire alarm goes off again. I take it back to see what happened. Turns out the two back shocks were completely worn out and the tires had been sitting crooked at an insane degree causing me to wear them out on one half only and causing air leaks. How was this not caught on the change and alignment? Anyway, I agree to get the two knew shocks and they told me they could comp the new tires I would obviously need again. All is good. That is until I drive on a highway the next time. As soon as my car hits 65 mph it starts shaking like crazy. I finally have time to take it back in to ask about it, they say it sounds like an alignment issue, and I’m making an appointment to get that fixed. I look back on my bill from the last time and guess who paid $99 for alignment already? Yup. This should not have been an issue. Upon father looks at the bill I also notice that the tires they told me they would comp were actually both charged for again. I’ve decided to go back for the alignment and hope they can get it right this time, and will definitely be making a fuss if they try to charge me for it. Never going back here again though.

2022-01-24POOR COMMUNICATION, CUSTOMER SERVICE, AND TERRIBLE WORK! I left car at 11 am. I was told it would take a hour for front brake pads and rotors. 4 hours go by and I call to check on the status of the vehicle and was notified that they ordered the wrong rotors three times because they didnt know what spec model I had. If i was notified about the issue I couldve gave the correct information to avoid any complications. When I left shop price was set at $450.00 when I came to pick up car they hadnt received the right rotors and price was $898.38 to order. I was not told this information till I got to the shop. This information shouldve been told over the phone when I called and checked on the status. Long story short no rotors replaced but only pads. I took car to another shop the NEXT DAY to discover that they didnt even securely put the brake pads on correctly. Just avoid this shop at all cost if you can.

2022-05-06Mavis Augusta rd garden city ga.I stopped by on Thursday evening because I went to another shop and purchased some wheels but the other shop couldn’t get the lug nuts off. Mavis didn’t stop until they got the lug nuts off and had my new wheels safely installed. I appreciate them greatly always great work!

2022-03-25Great service. Great tires. Great price. They will also look at other wear items on your car and let you know if they need replacement. I can’t say enough good things about the staff here. I don’t write a lot of reviews but I wanted to give this place a shout-out. All around positive experience dealing with the entire staff at this location. And that is so rare lately in our current tight labor market. Kudos to this shop, the staff, the manager and the owner. Keep up the good work! You now have a loyal customer! 2022-07-10The front desk was very courteous and attentive. I appreciate her ability to multitask. Even with my tire having to be delivered she was able to give me a good approximated time of delivery and service. The only problem was the website wasn’t clear about whether that shop had a tire that would fit my car and how much longer it would take to get that tire. Corporate should fix that issue with the website so expectations can be more realistic.

2022-04-15I came in 5 mins before closing needing a tire patch. Charnett and the store manager Jeremy really helped me out. If not for him I’d have had to cancel my 3 year anniversary trip to Savannah with my girlfriend. I can’t express how much I appreciate the help. I will be returning for everything I need for my truck. Very friendly and helpful staff.

2022-01-29I just found this place yesterday and it was close to my home. We needed new brakes as out of nowhere the driver side just started grinding. They got me in and repaired the same day! Another shop quoted us $1500 and another $900-$1200. Here we paid only $600. We don’t plan on keeping this car much longer so I was very happy to save that $900! Everyone was very friendly! From some of the other reviews I don’t think anyone has ever had to wait at the repair shop for their car to get fixed. I didn’t have a problem waiting as I was just thankful they got the repairs done the same day I brought it in!
