I had a great experience here at Mavis at 1530 Buford Drive in Lawrenceville, Georgia. This location is not near my home, but I find it to be the best of them. The assistant manager was totally informative and patient with all my questions. She knew her stuff, that’s for sure. I’ve decided that this will be the location I choose although it’s a little drive. Thanks for a satisfying experience!
Had not been to the location in a few months. Walked in the customer service was friendly and provided me explanations and details of all services for my vehicle that day. Found me an open slot in the scheduling and got me in and out in 25 minutes. Would recommend this location and Mavis to all my family and friends.

Came for wiper fluid and help with my broken back window that won’t stay up. They were not able to fix the window, but they did give me the wiper fluid I so desperately need it with this Georgia pollen!!! The manger smiled and greeted me right away and he was very pleasant. Thank you!

Great staff. I was in town visiting from South Carolina and needed an alignment before getting on the road to return home. In SC, I purchased a 3 year alignment package through NTB and was told that as long as I showed proof, Mavis Tires would honor my contract. Unfortunately that did not turn out to be the case. I contacted multiple Mavis Tires and was turned away. Thankfully Gregg & Ariel were accommodating and told me to bring my vehicle and it would be taken care. I really appreciate them both because there was an impending storm coming and I wanted/needed to be safe. Gregg and Ariel were super friendly, helpful, and accommodating. I am in the Atlanta area often and would definitely use their services AGAIN if needed. Thank you for helping me get home safely!!!!
Gregg was awesome! I needed to get my headlights replaced and they ordered the part and installed it all within an hour! Also the lady upfront was very nice and helped me make an appointment at the time I needed. Everything went smoothly and everyone was very friendly and helpful. 10/10 recommend.

They usually do a good job but I had to come back for something that should of been done while I was there the first time and considering a test drive was done. I don’t understand why this was missed with the loud Squeaky noise when hitting the brakes. What an inconvenience to have to come back.

The team at this location was amazing and friendly! On New Years Eve, I had already been to 3 different shops looking for a oil change. Everyone said no due to closing early and no previous appointment made. I went to Mavis Tires & Brakes, walked in & asked for oil change. Within 2 mins, Gregg and his team were working on my car. I had my tires replaced there and when I went back to have my bolts tightened, and the hub cap was not placed on correctly and fell off. I called and explained what happened and they ordered me a new one same day! I really appreciate them working with me on it and resolving the issue fast. Gregg is wonderful!

Greg at Mavis 1530 Buford Drive in Lawrenceville, GA was exceptionally not only professional but friendly. I came in having the worst day and he turned my bad day around with not only helping take care of my tire to the point where he made sure everything was done perfectly to the point where he was so friendly and nice that he turned my frown I started out with upside down. I have never had such great service at any tire place. I will make sure from this day forward that this is the only tire place I visit and I’ll make sure I ask for Greg! The whole time was fantastic and saw that I was frantic and worried about my car and they went out of their way to give me the best customer service and took care of my car right away. I was told it could be a two hour wait and it was less 45 minutes and they had various customers at the same time. Talk about quick and efficient service! Best service you could have and they were all friendly and put the biggest smile on my face!
I came in to have my tires inspected bc I was making a long road trip up north for the holiday. Gregg was extremely helpful, courteous, knowledgeable. He was very entertaining as well. Second time getting my car serviced at this Mavis location. I was greeted by Greg who went out of his way to assess the type of work I will need done on my tire. Customer service was A1 from both front desk employees.
I went here today for my car my tire. It had popped and I was stranded and i was lost. I called up this particular Mavis Tires and Brakes because of the employee Greg and how fast the service is. I came in around 10:34 and I got out @11:18. He was very helpful and very friendly. Great service and all. I would definitely recommend coming to this location and asking for Greg.

Had the misfortune of getting a flat on a cold, rainy, miserable day while running errands nearby. Gregg rocks! He had someone come put in air in my tire so I could come in for a patch. Then, they got me in and out quickly. I defintely recommend.
New management has took over this location and the service is so much better. I previously went to another location and they were trying to charge an arm and a leg to fix my axle bearing. But Gregg was extremely helpful and gave me a more reasonable quote. Overall the service was great and I will definitely be patronizing this location from now on.

UPDATE: Immediate response; Thank you for acknowledging the issues. We didnt have to pay for the oil change, so that kind of made up for it.FIRST, when we dropped off our car, they didnt have our appointment information in the computer. SECOND, it was ready, but nobody called to let us know and it was done for awhile. LASTLY, they put the new tires on the wrong side!!!!!!! So now they have to keep the car and fix it!!! Incompetent people.
There was an issue with me purchasing TPMS sensors from Mavis. I called them out on it, and they made it right!
I woke up in the morning to a nasty surprise, a completely flat tire. I filled up the tire and could hear it leaking. I called Mavis Tire and spoke to Greg. Greg encouraged me to bring it in and ask for him when I come in. Upon arriving, the store is clean, the staff is very friendly and Greg took care of me quickly and was super personable. Now I can get back to work. Thanks Greg! I will be returning for all my future tire needs :)

What has happened to customer service??? A little back story first: my husband bought six tires, for his Ford F350 Dually, from a different Mavis but decided to go to this location for an oil change and tire rotation and balance. Dropped the truck off Friday night so they could start working on it early. Well around 2:00 on Saturday my husband called to check on it. Was told they were almost finished. Was told a couple of issues he wanted looked at were okay. Good, they didnt try to pull a fast one and sell him something he didnt need. Around 3:00 someone called and said the truck was ready. Oh, by the way, we werent able to rotate any of the tires (that only have approximately 20,000 miles on them) because of tread wear on two of the tires. Wait a minute? Why didnt you tell me this earlier so I could discuss getting new tires under the warranty? Now I have to make a return visit AND put more miles on these tires, which reduces the warranty amount. When picking the truck up, tried to discuss this with the manager. The manager could answer why they didnt call or have any resolution for this issue. Hey! But, got the old changed! Will start the search for a new truck repair shop! Would not recommend this shop!

I wish I could rate no stars. Stay away from this place !!!! I made an appointment for an alignment at 3:30pm . The gentlemen I made an appointment with was very kind and said bring your car in its about 45mins . Theres also a discount. I said great lets do it at 3:30pm. I had a family member to drop off the car to have the alignment. When he got there , no one greeted him as he stood right there waiting to let them know what service the appointment was for. He ignored him for some time until another women customer walked in and said hey theres a gentlemen out there waiting for service. At 5pm , 1 and half hours after my appointment , I called to check the status of my service and a absurdly rude young man said he had to finish out appointments before working on my car. I ask if theres a better time to come back and why we were not informed that it would be this long. the point of an appointment and an estimated time of 45 mins to be this long. I would not be upset had id be informed that they were running behind. I understand things come up. Needless to say we will bring our business somewhere else. Customer service is horrible here. Stay away from this location.!!!!
After having issues at another Mavis tire store, the area manager sent me to this location for utter redemption!Greg & his team took excellent care of my car and kept me informed, while going above and beyond in their service.

I wanna say that I never trust my cars with any other company but Mavis on 1530 Buford Dr. Every time I need something fixed theyve taken good care of it. I bought 4 new tires from them and the next day got a flat. Of course no fault of Mavis just that particular tire. So I asked if I could get a new set thats better for the Atlanta roads. They were so amazing and willing to accommodate. Bret, the manager, he made things so easy and stress free. I will continue my business as always with them.

Update: after posting this, both the store and general manager reached out to me. I agreed to go to a different location(875 Buford Dr) in hopes of a better experience. The assist manger Joe was great even apologize for my experienced at the other location and the staff was super friendly! I will be going back there, its worth the extra minutes.I have had two issues: 1st being quoted one price by the manger and being over charged when I went to pay and the manger wasnt there and no one had a clue, so I was over charged. Went home and finally was able to talk to the manger and was he ask me to come back so I could be refunded. Since that was resolved I decided to go back for an oil change. Drop my car off at 12:30 the man said it was going to be a while, I said that was fine to call me and my husband would drop me back off. At 4:48 I called because I knew they closed at 5. Man answered said they were bringing it in now and will call me when it was done. At 5:19 I had a voicemail stating that they couldnt start my car(never had an issues before) and to call back in the next couple minutes or I would have to wait to tomorrow. I call back 2min no one answered I decided to drive there because I live less than 5mi away. I got there 10min after the miss call and the shop was locked up and everyone gone. They had no intention to answer my call or do a simple oil change. I did see 1 truck behind the building and that worker was telling me every excuse in the book. He gave me my keys and it starts the first time I turned the key. Yeah a real issue getting it started and it has started every time since!
I brought my tire to get patched. The service was excellent and got my tire patched within a few hours. I dropped my tire off so I didnt have to stick around. They promptly called me when it was done.

I came in yesterday inquiring about noise in my rear breaks that I had replaced by my own mechanic 6 months ago and Dusty/Brett were very helpful and knowledgeable. Dusty took off the tires and exposed the breaks and thoroughly explained to me about my potential break issues I was having, offered to clean them and assured me that my breaks were properly installed and that it was safe to drive. Since then it has not made any noise. He did not charge me or try to sell me anything extra which was greatly appreciated.

The guys at Mavis are awesome. I came in because my brakes were screeching. The mechanic diagnosed it immediately and looked for discounts for the work to be done. I bought new tires from Mavis last July. My rear tires needed air 4 days ago. The gas station air machine couldnt connect with the valve. We decided to ask for help at Mavis. They were very nice and took care of us right away. They have my business from now on. The courtesy and friendliness was much appreciated.

Made an appointment for 9am (as soon as they opened) and was immediately greeted and had my vehicle checked in. The manager was very helpful, suggested additional services he saw my car needed, and even applied a coupon. This location changed two tires for me, performed a safety inspection and a recommended alignment. Extremely prompt and polite service which, in my opinion, is usually hard to find at auto shops like these.

I came into get my brakes repair Gregg was very nice and helpful.Gave me a good deal and fix my brakes in a timely manner.Would recommend a good place to cone get your car fix and has good customer service.
I personally want to thank Jeff. I went to over ten stores looking for a battery for my car and wasnt able to find any store willing to help me find it. When arriving to the store they didnt have the correct battery for my car either instead of him(Jeff) sending me off he personally got on the phone and called all around and found the battery. Thank you so much guys for your awesome customer service and caring about your customers.

Mavis Tires & Brakes on Buford Dr. in Lawrenceville ROCKS! These guys are great. I had issues with one wheel and they made every effort to work with me to resolve that issue. Mgr. Andrew went above and beyond. They were courteous and informative. I highly recommend them.

Jeff and Semiel know what customer service means. Instead of just rotating and balancing my new tires again, they went on a test drive with me to help diagnose the problem. Brought my truck back to their location found the problem, explained and pointed out the problem, corrected the problem, and send me on my way. They have a very customer orientated, professional and positive attitude. Would recommend to anyone. True customer service comes out when there is a problem.

This is a great place to get service done. Not a long wait time and is underlooked due to its location so that makes for a short line. The facility is clean and quite so be sure to bring a book.

The kids working there know how to talk to a customer, excellent attitude from the workers. i have a lowered car and i’m used to shops sometimes not wanting to work on my car because of the liability. however the manager at this location thinks he’s hot sh!t. i was simply asking the worker/ having a conversation with me, and the kid i’m talking with asks the manager if they could just align the toe of the rear end. he interrupts the kind and respectful kid and points his finger at me saying “at the point i’m declining service to you” in a rude manner as if i was bothering them with something. the employee didn’t even have a chance to explain to him what i wanted to get done in my car, he simply just declined service in the most rude manner. he shoulda never been promoted, would’ve been best if the manager just stuck to tires.

Great service!Purchased/Installed 2 new tires, replaced the spare, balanced & aligned all four tires.Seth was very considerate of urgency and budget. He also answered all of my questions. The mechanics on the evening shift of 11/15/2016 showed experience and professionalism. I appreciate that they all made obvious efforts to work within my schedule and find a satisfactory resolution to my requests.

2022-01-22Ive always been cautious of these Firestone type places, but boy did Greg and his team hook me up with a new set of shoes today.. for an Amazing price compared to MSRP with alignment as well. Definitely recommend and Definitely will be back for future tire purchases. 10/10.

2022-05-26I have been a Mavis Tire/Kaufman customer for many years and frequent the surrounding stores in Lawrenceville. I had used this location at 1530 Buford Drive once before and stopped back by there today and was so happy I did. Eugene, the store manager, and a newer employee were so nice and honest. I went in for an alignment and other items and they let me know that I did not need an alignment after they tested my car. So many places would have been dishonest but they were not. And they did not pressure me. There was just a very good energy with the store manager and the employee that was there. I highly recommend this location.

2022-04-10This place was awesome!! I came in with a flat tire because I had a screw in it. I came in at 12:30, and they took me in and serviced my car at 12:35.. The whole process was smooth and super fast! Service was amazing and everyone was super nice.. I will be back here to even get my tires.

2022-04-09I had always used Bethlehem tires. When Vince had me come and compare prices because he believed in the value Mavis would offer me. The alignment was very affordable and were able to do an alignment my dual wheel 3500. The tire prices and service were also great. I love the fact that Mavis offers a credit card too.

2022-06-21This shop is full of experienced personal. They took excellent care of my 04 Taurus. I needed my oil pan gasket changed and they knocked it out the day I came in. No more leaks. I highly recommend this mavis tires location.
