Helped a good friend out, went with her because the service advisor was gonna rip her and charge her for four tires that she didnt need. And that wasnt even the issue she brought her car in for. Would not recommend this place at all. Its a shame that its so clear they are out to screw people out when they bring their vehicles to them in confidence.
DO NO COME HERE ! They tried to over charge me 500 dollars on brakes and rotor work. They call me back later to say that it needed something that cost 500 dollars more. Then after saying to just put everything back on I’ll go somewhere else. It went Down to close to 600. Then when I got my car they gave it back to me with a flat tire. When I told them they put air in it and said it could’ve lost air due to the changing of the brakes and rotors. Then the next morning I woke up and it’s flat. I came back and they openly said they didn’t do it. They have no idea what I’m talking about. If you want to get scammed and your vehicle damaged this is your place.
Could not believe the absolute atrocious customer service of this establishment. Had confirmed an appointment and then I get a call from one employee saying my vehicle could not be serviced then another employee said they were completely booked up. But I had CONFIRMED my appointment and this SPECIFIC location. When I called to inquire about it, I was on the receiving end of an employee having an attitude and talking over me when I was expressing how displeased I was with this situation. There was no excuse. I was then abruptly hung up on. This is an absolute disgrace and unacceptable. Management needs to be re-evaluated if they are allowing employees like this to work at this establishment. Would not recommend
I only gave 1 star because I witnessed unprofessional service at this location! Your employee worked after hours to try and finish a vehicle that was there for over 8 hrs. Once it was figured out, the car literally came out smoking!!!The mechanic acted as if nothing was wrong!!When it was brought to his attention of the inconvenience of not having the car an additional day……The “I don’t care look” came out!!! WTH
Absolute life saver!!! I was stuck on the side of 1-16 for 5 hours and when I got towed to their location I was initially first told that there wasn’t much they could do because I was under the impression that my lug nut was stripped and the mechanic was out for the day. The front desk clerk and the workers called around and see who could assist me and couldn’t find anyone. After hours of calling and seeing what I could do, I looked at my lug nut and realized it was a wheel lock key. The workers actively saw what they could do to help me. I felt stuck and helpless in pooler with no way home and I was taken care of in every way possible. After a few hours of waiting they were finally able to replace my tire and on top of everything Adrenne I believe is her name gave me a discount which helped me so much as I had spent a lot of unexpected money trying to get there in the first place and on top of that lended me a charger to charge my phone so it wouldn’t die. Absolutely the best service ever and I couldn’t be anymore thankful
Made an appointment a week in advance, at the time of the appointment i was told that nothing was scheduled and they were too overbooked to fit me in. The Mavis tire shop down the road was able to fit me in without an appointment and done under an hour, dont come here.
Spoke to someone and made an appointment for the next day first thing in the morning. They called me around noon because they said they didn’t have any appointment set up for me. I told them it was supposed to be done by noon, and basically they said we’ll there’s nothing we can do you’re going to have to wait. Even though I stressed to them the day before it was time sensitive. Don’t come here very unprofessional and the employees always sound confused
This is my go to spot for all my tire and minor issue needs with me and my wifes car. Ive been coming here since it was Koffman tire. They changed the name but is still the same great staff. The salesman Patrick at the counter is always most helpful and is always looking to get my issue resolved for whats best for me. I would highly recommend this tire shop for anyone looking to get one in the future.
I blew a tire on I-95 this morning and needed replacements for all 4 ASAP. This was the only shop who had my size tire; reasonably priced too. Upon arriving at the establishment, I was greeted by one of the managers... Jackie; She was amazing! She confirmed that my tires were there, in processed my vehicle fairly quickly, and recommended that I get an alignment as well as add warranty coverage for any future mishaps. Jackie also kept me aware of the progress of my car and even showed me how to process information so that could receive a $200 rebate on my purchase. I hope that you read this Jackie, Thank you for taking care of me and Thank you to the guys who took care of my car. You all are amazing! My car came in feeling like a used car, and left feeling like new!
I just want to tell you guys how wonderful “Patrick” is. His customer service is amazing. I went for a tire change and he notice I needed another tire and oil was leaking from my car. I told him I was a single mother and I would come back for it cause I didn’t have the money. As I was leaving he told me I will pay for it for you because you and your kids can’t ride on a tire like this. He told me to come back in the office. Goes in his pocket and pay for the tire. He also checked my oil for me. He didn’t have to do this but he did. He is an amazing man. I started crying the way he helped me was amazing. I just want everyone to know how amazing this man is & the way he went over and beyond for a customer. Thank you Patrick
Jackie and Patrick are some of the sweetest people ever and we’re so helpful when it came to my damaged tire! Even with all the difficulties of the pandemic and short staffing they managed to do a spectacular job in customer management, timeliness, and efficiency! I would 100% go to them for all of my tire needs!
I love bringing my car here! As a women, sometimes repair shops try to take advantage of our lack of knowledge but Kauffman Tires is always honest with me. They even find ways to help me save money! I feel like we are family and they care about me every time I go. Thank y’all so much for your service that you provide. I would recommend anyone to come see you!
I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for great service. Samantha at the front desk was very friendly and helpful and Chad who worked on my car did a great job. They dont push anything on you that you dont need and are reasonably priced. Thank you again guys!
Mr.Pat was so knowledgeable and taught me a few things (see below). I called late on Sunday around 2:00 and explained to Mr.Pat that my husband found we were transferred to Alabama and had to be there by the next week. We planned on moving Monday but we have a 4 month old son and I needed to get the oil changed but more importantly I had a slow leak in my tire that I was concerned about.Mr. Pat fit us in and when I went to drop off the Jeep, Mr. Pat mediately began to ask me about my concern with the slow leak in the tire.He walked out to the Jeep with me to inspect it and saw that all the tires had actually been over inflated. He then took the time to teach me where on the vehicle this information was located etc .He went out of his way and you just don’t get service like that anymore !!Thanks
Mavis tires customer service is the best! I went in frantic because of a low pressure that came up on my dashboard. I was not expecting to learned that it couldn’t be prepared. The manager Mr. Patrick, explained to me, and eased my worry. The manager helped me to fine some good mileage tires, and a good price! Mavis Tires is the best!
I’m very upset with mavis team,i make an appointment at 1pm feb 11-22,and they estimate the prize and they told me the prize was $179,so i got there they told that it will be done by 1 and half hour,so come back 2:30,i sat down try to be patience,but!!!! I waited till 2 hours after,thats when i ask,then!!!thats when they notice me,and then they pull the car in,and still waited for 3hours,people came after got done before me,i stay in the lobby till no one else,just me and team,in about 6::50 pm they finnally get it done yet they charge me for $367,which is not the prize they gave me on the phone,it was my first visit,and not satisfy with everything,not professional,and its gonna be last…SMDH
Mavis could have avoided having to settle with ga but lying to make money will always put you out of business I will make my claim shortly remember the so called new tires I still have the receipt and tires and pic so people can get the link from the story on wtoc to file claims with state of ga
Excellent service here and the price was reasonable. I got my shocks and struts done here and the car is running like new. I was wondering what was going on with the tire sound and the man in the shop was able to diagnose it quickly. The guy at the counter, his name was Ashton, had a great demeanor and was really chill while being prompt and straightforward. Id definitely go back for more service.
I am a long time Kaufman customer but had an awful experience at this store. Well understaffed and simply dont know how to handle customer questions. Overfilled oil in one car and underfilled oil in another. Spilled oil over manifold. Store managers attitude is poor and the same for tech. Would not help me with warranty questions on tires I purchased at Kauffman near Atlanta. I will not go back. Recommend steering clear of this store.
The entire staff at Kaufman tire were a pleasure to deal with. Even when I had a bad day they were still an awesome group and maintained a positive attitude. They did excellent work to my vehicle today and in the past. I encourage you all to go to Kauffman tire. Chip, Jackie, Chris,Patrick, jaylin, are the people to talk to.
Amazing customer service from Dorek and Ashton. I had a issue with my tires and was having a hard time finding a place to get this checkout. When I arrived I was greeted and immediately helped. I haven’t had great service in a long time so thank you both for helping me and giving me peace of mind as I get on the road for a 14 hour drive.
This was my first time using Kauffman tires and I dont know what expectations I had going in, but my actual experience there surpassed them! Scheduling my oil change was hassle free. The gentleman running the front desk was friendly, polite, and his customer service skills were just outstanding! We didnt set a specific time to have the car ready by, but they still had it ready in a timely manner. They did exactly what I asked for, they did not try to nickel and dime me, and the overall price was exceedingly fair. I immediately went home and told my family about what a nice experience I had! Keep up the good work guys!
Don’t use them! They claim that if you bring in the car for one tire they don’t at least look at the others. They also will not submit warranty claims to the tire makers(which is permitted under Goodyear policies). They barely discount when asked. As a veteran, I will take my business elsewhere.
Stopped in with an emergency moving my daughter from Maryland to Florida. The car had power issues. They hooked up a charger to the car and diagnosed the issue in the pouring rain. The best part is they never charged a dime even though they couldnt do the repairs. If I lived in this area, I definitely return here for tires, oil change, etc. Great people.

Very happy with my entire visit. I called ahead and order two tires for my vehicle from Peter. They didnt have them in stock and I didnt expect them to. I ordered the size I believed it to be and later in the day I found out it was the wrong size. I quickly called Peter back at 3 pm and he told him they would still have the right size available the next day. The next day I got a call from Kelly at the store and she told me that they were actually booked for that day and would not be able to get to my tires until two days later. I asked if I could go ahead and just drop my tires off since I took them off myself and just have yall get to them whenever yall get to them. She told that it would be fine. Kelly called me back the same day and told the tires were ready to be picked up. I wasnt expecting them to be able to get to them so quick. I really enjoyed the service and customer care that they provided. I will absolutely be back. Thank you very much for all that yall did.
Every time I’ve made an appointment for an oil change, they completely ignore it and just work it in at their convenience. They won’t start working on your car until several hours after your appointment time. And you don’t know until you show up 3-4 hours later assuming it is done, to find out it’s next in line, about an hour out from STARTING the job. Might as well just drop your car off without an appointment. Time to find somewhere new.
Hate to give a bad review, but bad experiences beget bad reviews so here we are.It makes no sense that you can have an appointment set, then show up for that appointment -check in, give them the keys, smile at each other- only to get a call 4 hours later to be told that the tires you ordered didnt come in. Could this not have been disclosed when I dropped off the vehicle that morning?? Its a 35 minute drive to this place from where I live, and I had to inconvenience a friend for the ride, making them and myself late for work. I know this is inconsequential to anyone at this business, but the details adds up when the experience becomes less than subpar.Im then told the tires will be in the next day and I could leave my truck there over night. The next day, I receive no phone call, so -I- call them late afternoon only to be told the tires are no longer being made and there are only 3 left at the warehouse (not delivered either). I was given the excuse that they called and left me a message .. yeah, that didnt happen. They advised me to get a different tire, and they could get it in by Thursday. Of course, my faith at point was next to non-existent. Plus, the tires they claimed they could get would cost me around $400 more in total. I told them I would pick up the truck and explore my options on my own.If there was a positive, its that the staff was friendly. But unfortunately, this friendliness didnt translate to getting the job done adequately (lets be real, at all). Overall, disappointed in the time spent and the general lack of empathy... I know we can do better.
Great experience! Kelly is incredibly helpful, upbeat, straightforward, and honest. I caught a screw in my tire and it wasnt repairable. Even though they were very busy, she was able to take a look at the tire and help source a new one quickly. I had a bit of a wait while they put on my spare and I watched her help 4 other people simultaneously with the same kindness and energy that she extended to me. Ill be using this business exclusively for my tire needs going forward. Thanks Kelly!
Just need 2 tires. Appointment made early a.m. Told it would be 2 hours and I could wait. 2 hours later the car hadnt even been in queue to go into a bay. Told it would be at least another hour or so. Still waiting to see my car move. Dont wait or expect your car at all the same day.
This is not the place to go if you have a flat and need it repaired same day or even in a timely manner. I stopped in on Thursday morning with a flat tire needing repair. The employee working the counter told that couldn’t get to right away...That was no problem for me because I had the tire off the vehicle. I told the employee I could leave the tire and come back and pick it up when it’s ready. She then told me they had no openings until Monday and that I’d just have to make and appoint and come back then. Really?!?!?!? An appointment and a five day wait to repair a flat. No thanks!!!!! I’m happy to take my business elsewhere.
I was a little irritated at first. Went in to order a tire and make an appt for the next day. Kelly was really friendly and helpful and told me they could take care of me right then. After waiting for 2 hours, my car had not been touched and I had to go. Made the appt for the next morning. The Service Mgr was very nice and gave a discount for my frustration the day before. I am happy with the service but recommend making an appointment rather than same day service. Its a busy place!
Made My Appointment At 9:20am This Morning And Not Only They Squeezed Me In And Had My Car Taking Car Of By The Time They Closed, While Having Short Staff; but they also were very polite, walked me through the process, Told Me The Worst Case And The Best Case And Then Went To Work! Ashton Was Very professional And Comforting! Him And Chris Made Sure My Car Was On The Road And Safe For Me On The Way home! They Had Discounts, And I Would Highly Recommend them to others! Day Started Out Rough And Glad Yall Turned It Around! WILL Be Back In Near Future If Needed!
I made an appointment for June 4th for 1pm. When I arrived, I was told by the receptionist that two other vehicle arrived and caused a two hour delay. I was leaving when she said she would schedule me for June 5th at 1pm. She stated that she’d make sure my car gets right in upon my arrival. I arrived at 1pm and told her I was waiting for the vehicle. I walked around the plaza for about an hour to come back to the vehicle being on the same spot I left it. Then she had the audacity to ask me if my vehicle was done. They finally brought my vehicle to the service areas at 2:15pm. I didn’t not leave the place until 3pm.I do understand that they’re busy but overbooking appointments and having people wait an undisclosed amount of time it’s not right.
Doric and Chris are phenomenal. They were able to help me after getting a flat on 95 late at night. They were our heroes. If they had not provided excellent customer service and cared about their customers, one mom and four girls would have been stranded in Pooler. Thank you again for being so wonderful and taking care of us!!!
Brandy was very kind on the first day and energetic when I dropped my car off (at the end of the day)to be ready to go first thing in the morning. Today I was greeted with the same great energy from John at the call center to Brandy and even the assistant manager Kelly with a y. When I went to pick up. They did not try to push any extra services and only recommended what was possibly needed and other items that could wait but were mentioned just in case. They even have the best price options. Best first experience and will continue to use them in the future.
I had a scare a few months ago when my front left tire fell off while driving down the highway (It was a dealership error, not Kaufman Tire’s work).The dealership did replace the tire, but they did not do an alignment or anything so my car still didn’t seem to drive right after the dealership repairs. I visited Kaufman Tire shortly after to get a second opinion. They thoroughly checked the damaged front right tire, did a proper alignment, put on 4 new tires and all for a very fair price.Today I stopped by because my tire pressure light was on. I was too scared to touch my tires—even to put air in them—because of my highway experience (still fresh). The staff at Kaufman filled my tires for me, and recognized a leak in my front right tire. They repaired it for me in 15 minutes and didn’t charge me for it. That’s great service! I wish I got the names of the 2 employees that helped me. I’m so grateful for their help. I will definitely be back. Thank you!
Awesome service! We were from North Carolina and leaving the next day and had a flat. Nicest gentleman I believe it was the manager. Bought a tire and he put it on himself. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone! We appreciate their hospitality!!! Very grateful!
I went there thinking I needed brakes. Brakes were fine, I needed tires. The techs helped me pick the best tires forbme at a great price. Dorrick explained everything and Chris walked me around and helped me pick tires. But the main reason I will be going back to Kauffman is Kelly. Polite, professional and VERY personable. Her approach and positive attitude we very refreshing. She asked the right questions. All the while smiling. As a Manager, Kauffman Tire should be very happy to have her. On our way to Pennsylvania and got a flat. Went to Goodyear thinking they would have my tire but did not. Goodyear recommended Kaufman Tire so we went and they had the tire. Kaufman Tire helped us even when they were booked for the day. Nice guys and great service. If you have an emergency, this is the place to go.
Ive utilized this Kauffman Tire location several times, once recently for a non-typical issue with my garage queen. Each time Ive visited, the entire staff has been friendly, and their mechanics have been very knowledgeable and helpful- spending time to walk me through the issues with my car and answer any questions I had. Their prices are also very competitive, and the shop is in a great location with lots to do within walking distance if you need to wait on your car. I will definitely be returning to Kauffman Tire for my car care needs in the future!
After experiencing a flat tire due to a nail I took it to Kauffman Tire in Pooler late in the day, where I had gotten good service previously. The agent looked at the tire, told me what the possible problems were (simple puncture, or something more serious) and told me I would get a call the next morning after they had taken a look at if off the rim. Before 9AM I got a call, and the agent reviewed my choices for a new tire. After ordering the tire, he quoted me the entire price, including mounting, balancing, etc.and asked me to come in after 90 minutes. When I went back, and they were ready to remount the tire. I was out of there in 20 minutes, and the price was less than I expected. Great service, professional in every way, helpful, and most of all, prompt with their call back and actual mounting time. Ill be making Kauffman Tire my go to tire place when I need service.
Kelly was the most helpful, kind, knowledgeable, and efficient person I’ve ever had the pleasure of doing business with! Took care of my car needs promptly and quickly. Definitely don’t plan on taking my car elsewhere solely due to her customer service being by far the most impressive I’ve ever dealt with. Thanks for everything, Kelly!!!
I dropped a wheel off on Monday afternoon, I told them that I would pick it up Tuesday afternoon. I was called Tuesday afternoon and told it was done. When I arrived at the store my wheel was not ready. I was told that the tire I had ordered was not in stock. I told them I would pick it up on Wednesday afternoon, when I arrived at the store my wheel was ready, however I was not offered any compensation for my inconvenience. On a positive note the staff was very polite.
Terrible customer service. Was quoted a price over the phone for 4 tires mounted and balanced and an alignment done only to show up and have had an additional. $175 worth of work done to my car, then was threatened with them keeping my car as collateral until said bill was paid or they would call the cops on me for theft if I took my car. Was quoted a 3 hour timeframe to have new tires mounted and balanced and an alignment done, ended up taking over 7. When I showed up 4 hours after dropping off my car, the technician who was to be doing work on my car was sitting in a chair playing on his cell phone while the only thing they had managed to get accomplished in 4 hours was putting my car up on the rack. If you want quality work at a reasonable price and timeframe, take it down the street to one of the Savannah Tire locations (and no Im not affiliated with them, just have had better experiences with them than this dump).Update: Store manager Chip called within 45 minutes of my post and went above and beyond to make this situation right. Thank you Chip for your dedication to not just making the situation right, but also ensuring repeat business.
We were on the road and discovered a nail in our tire, which was slowly losing air. After filling it and hoping it would hold until we got home, the light came on again. So we stopped. They said that it was a close call if it could be repaired, as the tread was quite worn, and unevenly worn. They gave me a few options. I opted to have them all the tires replaced and to have an alignment. On a Sunday, they managed to squeeze us in and get us back on the road in a couple hours. The alignment really helped. The car no longer pulls to one side at all.(BTW, I just saw a similar review - we are different people also headed back to Pennsylvania.)
We have been loyal customers since we mover to Pooler and they have serviced all 4 of our vehicles, but after today we are done with Kauffman Tire.After they did an oil change on our Nissian, we noticed when we turned on the air conditioner it made a bad noise. ( the noise was not present before the oil change) So we called the very next day after our oil change. We were told to come in before 10:00 and they would take a look at the air conditioner. When we got there at 9:15 they had no record of our appt. so they said it would be 2 hours before they could squeeze us in. We ended up sitting there for over 4 hours. They also didn’t take the $20.00 coupon they emailed me to use for service. I feel we have been ripped off and will never bring any of our vehicle to Kauffman ever again. Buyers be aware!!
I wouldn’t even give one star if I could. Took my Mustang in to get 4 new tires. They broke my center cap, and it cost me 25.38 to replace. My car drove different after service so I looked at the tires and they didn’t put the right size tires on my car. Also for some reason my car now has a loud noise when I turn my steering wheel back and forth that wasn’t there before. I have a friend that also took her BMW to them to have 4 new tires on and also ended up with noise in the front end. Will never go there again!!!!
I arrived shortly after 11am for a scheduled appointment window of 11-2. I was told they wouldnt honor the appointment and it was first come first serve on Sundays. Then they said they couldnt find the tires I ordered and had delivered days earlier, eventually finding them a short time later. The person I was speaking with was rude and I was forced to verify my appointment and tire delivery information with emails from my phone. They took my keys and told me they put me in line for service. After my appointment window they took my vehicle back and kept it over 2 hours to install 4 tires.
Was told an hour and a half to get a full set of new tires over the phone. So I set up a time to come in and all. Showed up a little early. A hour and a half later the car wasnt even pulled into the garage yet, was told another 30 minutes before they could even get started. So now looking at 2 hours. Needless to say, I didnt get my tires today. As a single father I dont have the luxury of having multiple cars and the ability to just drop of a vehicle. If im told a certain time frame, im going to take them for their word. Very disappointing.
Stopped in for an oil change and a tire alignment for my wifes car. Spoke with Kelly and she is amazing. Had my car done on time and gave awesome customer service. This is my first time using Kuffman Tire and I will be back in the future because of kelly the friendly service and the clean atmosphere. Highly recommended.
Want to start this of by this was the most wonderful experience I have had for any service!! I found a nail on my utility trailer and needed internal patch. Savannah tire wanted DOUBLE $30 for one while Kauffman was only $14 as well as the service tech anwsered the phone had me sold before i heard the prices!!. Extremely professional with an eagerness to provide quality service!!! Dropped off and with in hour or so job was completed. They took great care of me and patch/ plug installed was flush to tire and quality work. Highly recommend & dont waste your time going to any Savannah tire locations u less you feel like throwing money away while being upset with professionalism. 10 out if 10 ⭐⭐⭐
We love this location! Kelly and Chip are awesome! From the moment you drop your car off until you pick it up they take amazing care of their customers! We felt more like a local garage service vs a corporate chain. Kelly definitely shows a level of empathy for whatever situation you are having with your car! Chip (i think that’s the managers name) was amazing, he went above and beyond to ensure we didnt leave until we were 100% satisfied. We have now made this our go to for ALL our vehicle repairs. Went to have my tires replaced and for an oil change. The woman who helped me at the desk, Karisma, was extremely friendly and professional. No hassle, in and out, and waiting area was comfortable. Got on the interstate right after I left and the ride was really smooth. Will definitely return!
Best place I’ve ever gone to get my care looked at by far. Kelly helped me, she had the best attitude as well as everyone else was super friendly and advise, pricing was super great and everyone was at the top of there game. I wouldn’t go anywhere else to get my car looked at. Highly recommend
Great service! We had a leaking tire, far from home with 3 more hours to drive. Had already been 2 other places, one expecting a 3 hr wait, the other trying to sell me a $90 tire. Young man at the service desk said the schedule was full, but he fixed it quickly with a plug and we were on our way. God bless him!
Hands down the friendliest place! I came in for an oil change without an appointment so I expected to wait. They were very apologetic for my wait and so nice. They pay attention to detail and found that I had 2 nails in 2 tires!! They don’t try to up-charge and work with you to find the most affordable option. The man and woman in the front (forgive me but I didn’t get their names) were top notch! I definitely recommend this place. There was even a guy that came in after buying tires from a close-by competitor but came to Kauffman after the competitor turned him away. Kauffman helped him immediately. Great place and I’ll definitely be back! Great to have such an awesome tire shop in Pooler.
Super quick service, I went for an oil change and was there for maybe 30 minutes. The staff was friendly and ended up not charging me (I am 38 weeks pregnant, the woman who helped me, whose name I didnt get, told me Congratulations and that she took care of it for me, which was really sweet). I will definitely give them my business in the future.
Stay away. Twice I called and scheduled appointments for service only to be called the following day to be informed the time I had booked was not available as it was already booked up. The option given is to leave the car there all day or accept a much later time BUT will probably be delayed in being able to actually start working on the car. Do you not understand what scheduling an appointment means?Once is an accident, twice is the way they do business. Dont need that.
The only place I will go to get my car work done. The will not sell you something you dont need,if you want to see why you need something they will show it to you and explain. One of the few honest mechanic shops left. Work is quality first if you have new rims and want a almost guarantee of not getting them scratched this is the place to go. Because the work is so good and they have a reputation of being the best place to go in the area make sure you book a reservation in advanced as everyone thats been here wants to have their work done here.
I had an issue with my tires driving back from a trip and the staff at this location could not have been more awesome to work with! They did everything they could and then some to help me get back on the road as quickly as possible. I would recommend for anyone go here in a heartbeat!
I had my van serviced here a few days ago. I was first impressed when I call to make the appointment. The young lady who answered the phone, Charisma, was knowledgeable and kind and truly gave me the impression that she and the establishment she represented it was there to serve. That was reiterated when I dropped my car off, and again when I picked it up. I was so impressed. Im super thankful that Kauffman tire is around the corner from our home and we have found a place we can trust. And when I call in the future, I will always ask for Charisma!
The woman was rude told me you come when we are busy. Then ask me what do I need help I had a bubble on the tire need it replaced. She said I cant do it today. And my baby in the hospital. Trying to get the tire fixed. And this is kind of service is the I recommen that no one stop there but thats there decision. But she was nice to the next people in line. I stop there on the Nov/1/2020
Had an 11:00 appointments today to get four new tires, and got there about ten minutes early. We made the appointment two days before. We were told a couple hours to be finished. We went shopping and showed up two hours later and they hadnt even started my vehicle. Its going to be another couple of hours. Luckily we put some ice packs in with our cold groceries, but now we have to drive a half hour home to put our stuff away and then sit and wait until they call us so we can drive another half hour back to pick up my vehicle. Whats the point of an appointment. I asked the lady that and she said their New York office always overbooks them and they take walk- ins. We were lied to from start to finish. Good thing tires last years, and hope I have no problem with these cuz I dont ever want to come back.
What’s the point of an appointment If it means nothing? Dropped our car off at 11 WITH AN APPOINTMENT. Three hours later walked back and the car had still not been serviced. Grabbed the keys and left with no oil change. No sense of time management and poor customer service. Would not recommend and will never be back.
The worst experience I have ever had with a tire shop in my life so far.I asked for a quote on a coil over / new wheel install on my vehicle and the manager said well let us give the vehicle a inspection and we will let you know. I gave them my keys and did not hear from them for the next 5 hours. I went to the shop to find out that they decided to put the coils on the car without giving me a quote and without having me agree to a price, when I confronted the manager about this his words were You told me to put them on and then tried to charge me over $800 for the labor that i did not ask them to do. Thank god i got there when i did because they were about to put my new wheels on my old tires when i had bought new tires at another shop and was awaiting them to be shipped. ( All of this was told to him before the installation). By the time i confronted him about the situation the shop was closing and they wouldnt let me take my car home without paying but i refused none the less. I come back the next day and they give me my car back charge free but when they gave me my wheels back one of them had a dent on them and when i confronted the mechanic about this his response was it came in like that ,even though the all the wheels that were given were still in the boxes , and proceeded to kick me out the shop telling me never to come back. so after all this i tried to have them pay for my damaged wheel only for them to dodge calls and refer me to the regional manager who was so conveniently on vacation.Basically these people will try to take advantage of you, damage any aftermarket part you bring to them and add labor that you didnt ask for, STAY AWAY FROM THIS SHOP IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR CAR!!!!
Horrible experience. Im actually livid about it! I walked in at my appointment time and see 2 customers in the small waiting area without masks. As I am in line to check in an employee comes from the garage area with mask below nose, then he proceeded to adjust it to below his chin! As I am being checked in I mention that I am uncomfortable with the above situation. The employee puts his mask back up into proper position. Then I am told one customer is about to leave so no problem. I keep a box of masks in the car, so I politely offered one to the other customer, in case she didnt have one. It was declined. I finished checking in and as I wait, an employee comes to me as asks me to not HARASS other customers about masks. I do not consider offering a mask in a polite manner harassment. However, I DO feel that this was harassment toward me! Am I not a customer also? How does the one get away with not obeying a county ordinance and I get blasted? I honestly thought I was being polite in offering something that the other person may not have had. By the way, the employee that chastised me was the very same one who had his on incorrectly...coincidence? I think not!
Krista was professional and very knowledgeable. The prices were competitive. The time for completing the job took less time than I expected. I was very pleased with the superior customer service I received. I have recommended several family members and friends to Kauffman Tire.
My tire had a slow leak for MONTHS and I neglected to get it fixed. Once it started getting colder, I knew I had to get looked at, so I took it to Kauffman’s. The crew was extremely helpful with fixing my tire and also fun to talk to! Fast service and friendly environment.
I got an alignment less than a week ago because my car was pulling and sliding at the slightest touch of the wheel. I asked that they check tire rods and other things that could cause this as well as the alignment. I returned today because it is still doing the exact same thing and because the tech apparently was out I was basically told there’s nothing we can do for you. I understand things happen and people need to leave work but to tell a customer that just used your business I can’t help you is very frustrating. I have used Kauffman before and have had some issues but Karisma always works things out. Maybe i would have had a different outcome if she was at work today. It seems she’s the only employee with customer service skills.
While on a road trip I had a tire blow out, I really wasn’t expecting to find my size tires. I called and spoke to Kelly with Kauffman Tires and luckily they had exactly what I needed. Kelly was friendly and understanding of my situation. They wasted no time in getting me back on the road. Thanks again and check these guys and girls out for all your automotive needs.
George was who checked my wife in. He listened to her was very polite. Chris the Mechanic there was amazing he brought us out to our vehicle and he showed us what he saw and found to be concerns with the vehicle we got the services done today and will be back in the future. That level of communication is hard to come by.
The work completed was fine. The service at the counter However was not. Randomly added couple hundred dollars to what was approved. Previously they had won my business over other places around. Now definitely not I would not reccomended this place to my worst enemy. The woman at the counter was more worried about her birthday than actual service.
If you want to deal with unprofessional behavior, then this is the place for you. Three employees were standing around talking as I waited over 10 minutes to be helped. When I asked for my tire to be filled, I was told by one of those employees, “I can’t, I have a job to do.” Putting air in my tire is a job to do! I have never experienced this at any tire establishment.
Great customer service! Karisma was very helpful and it was much appreciated!! Wait was as expected, not to terrible. I made a reservation online, but Sundays are a first come first serve basis. One car was ahead of me! Amongst everything, I appreciated the great service. I will be back in the future.
My 15 year old Chevy Avalanche never drove this well in the 6 years Ive owned it. I asked three other garages to address my slop and wandering in the steering and I was told over and over that thats how the Avalanches are, and then they would rotate, balance and thrust alignment, no improvement . Kauffman Tire recommended new pitman arms, inner and outer tie rods and idler arm with a power steering flush and my Ol trucks steering has no slop, doesnt wander and hands off ( for a few seconds) is straight as an arrow in my lane. The service manager was super nice as well as the sales staff. There may be slightly less expensive shops but they wont be as knowledgeable. Very satisfied and oh yes, my Military discount was very helpful with this amount of work.
So I needed one tire taken off and my new tire put on and balanced of course. I called a day prior to make an appointment. I asked and confirmed the price at least 2 times if not more, each time I was told it would be 17 dollars. I arrived at my appointment, and asked how long it would be. I was never given an answer. After sometime the lady at the front came over to me and stated that during their inspection of the vehicle that the brakes in the front were 70% worn and that they needed to be replaced, and that the back brakes were 40% worn and were fine. Then she advised me that the windshield wipers were torn and needed to be replaced also. She then advised me the price of the replacement front bakes. I declined to have them replace them and also the windshield wipers. She then said that oh well we will be reporting this to Uber and Lyft. Now I’m not a Uber or Lyft driver but there are stickers on the vehicle. So I declined your up-sale and then get threaten to be “reported”. Then I had to pay 34 dollars for the tire that they took off and put on the new tire. I said Um I was told multiple times over the phone it was 17 dollars, she said yeah it’s 17 per tire, And yet you only dealt with ONE tire, no we had to take the old tire off and put a new one on so technically it’s two tires. Yet over the phone I was told 17 multiple times and they knew what I was needing to get done. So I paid and left. I inspected my windshield wipers and they are not torn and look perfectly fine. I will not be doing business here anymore, they lie and when you don’t accept their services they use threat tactics to try to get the up-sale. I don’t recommend this place. My brakes are fine as well.
First wait two hours was ok with that then told another hour was not ok with that then was told have to request patch for inside the tire. Was told it was in the rules but they could not show me the rules. The shop manager gave me an attitude even after I told him I had warranty and just wanted to shut me up to get me out. Total waste of three hours. Cant wait to talk to the GM or corporate on this one. So disappointed.
Updating my post as last 2 services went all wrong. I changed a tire with them and they did not correctly the balance and alignment as the tires got uneven tread wear. Then with my truck I took it for service and after that start to leak oil. Took it back there and they said it was fine. Took it to other place and results that the oil filter was loose and that was the reason of the leak. Will never get back there. So disappointed
Called to check if they had my tire size and oil filter, the man on the phone said they had the tire but would need to order the oil filter and I needed to be in store for that. No problem. I get there and the rude lady at the front desk leaves us waiting for 10+ minutes while she speaks to someone in the back (it didn’t seem to be about a pressing customer matter). She finally comes back and helps us and she says I didn’t speak with her (which, ok so what? you guys need to be on the same page) and that she doesn’t do ‘same day appointments’ in a very curt tone. Like what the heck? Why did the man on the phone say I had to be in person to order part? Also it was early morning around 10 so idk how you wouldn’t have time at all before 5 or 6 but whatever, walked into Savannah tire down the street and got politely serviced without even calling
Had a flat on I95 today. This is a dangerous place to be on the side of the road so got a tow to Kaufman Tire. They had a replacement tire so we walked to Buffalo Wild Wings for a snack while the damaged tire was replaced. Very courteous staff and very helpful on short notice.
This tire store is outstanding. Whenever you visit a tire store you normally get the sinking feeling you will be taken advantage of. But Kauffman Tire is totally different. They offer a great selection, quick service and excellent prices. We have commercial vehicles and would never go elsewhere.
Im not usually the type of person to leave bad reviews for places, as I usually try to give people the benefit of the doubt. But this circumstance has lead me to completely believe that no one should ever get their car worked on or serviced by this place (I mean, just read all of the other reviews too, this hasnt happened to just me, but to many others as well). They replaced my CV Axle 7 months ago but never installed the cotter pin that locks the bolt and axle in place, therefor, Ive been driving around with a loose axle for 7 months and the bolt (that they only hand tightened) had loosened to the point where my wheel and tire were about to fly off at any moment, which would have caused myself and others to be in a catastrophic accident. Please be careful about where you decide to take your car to!! These people put my life and many other lives in very serious danger and then completely denied it and didnt take the proper steps to fix the issue.
They were great! Sometimes people take advantage when a single women walks in, but my dad is a mechanic, lives on the other side of the country, so I called him right away to make sure nothing seemed fishy. He listened to what they said and he said it sounded legit. He felt it might be bit high in the price but I got the info and called around and got the same quote or more. So I feel satisfied for sure! Everyone was kind and hospitable. It was a stressful situation and they made me happy.
My and family I caught a flat tire while on 95 headed back home from vacation....they were booked for the day and were not taking any more cars...but Doric and the crew at this location were nice enough to squeeze us in.... was truly a blessing to have made to them on time..we had already been turned down by the tire shop down the street.... thank you guys so much!!
The people here are really nice and seem to have a lot of knowledge. The mechanic even took me back to my car to show me what the problem with my car was. The waiting area is nice and pretty comfortable. The only problem I had was the mulipule times I had to come because of confusion caused by the phone system they have. You call the number that comes up on Google and it takes you to Mavis Tire call center who makes the appointments for the Savannah Tires and Kaufman Tire so that caused a lot of confusion. I have to say though, the front people tried to make it right for me when we came the first couple of times but they were busy enough to make the wait for a fit in too long. But like I said, Kaufman Tire is a good place, just the Mavis call system stinks.
We were in town for the weekend and the right front tire of our Honda Odyssey blew out on Saturday night. They opened on Sunday, promptly at 9, got the van back quickly and did a great job. Christina was courteous and professional, and Whit made sure that we were taken care of. Ill recommend this place to anyone.
I scheduled an appointment to have an oil and filter change at noon. So, I went to lunch and returned at 1:30. Upon returning I saw my car sitting in the parking lot. I walked in and asked the front desk lady if they had serviced my car. She told me they pulled the wrong vehicle and I could wait another 15 minutes and then they would service my vehicle. Needless to say, I will not be returning here again, and I fully intend on sharing my review with everyone I meet.If youre looking to enhance your customer experience I would recommend following through with promises....either get rid of appointment times or inform the customer of wait times. Absolutely disappointing.
I called Corporate and my local Kauffman tire. They both quoted me a price which changed when I got there. Of course it was higher than what I was told. They assured me they would have the tires I wanted. When I got there they only had three out of four tires. I found this out after waiting for two hours. They convinced me to go with a slightly different tire size. I did this and after thinking about it I wondered if it would affect my warranty. They assured me it wouldnt,but after calling my warranty department they told me it would affect the road side warranty. I will never do business here again and if you dont want to be disappointed I dont recommend this place to anyone.

Always a fantastic experience. Had my tires, lug nuts, and bolts replaced here. Service was fast, staff was friendly, and the place was clean. Always upfront about prices and whats wrong and the options. This is the first place Im going anytime I have something wrong with my car. They treat me and my car with respect.
Called twice to let them know what I needed done. First time to make sure they could do it, second to confirm and make an appointment. Dropped the truck off with tires (I didnt buy from them) and 3 hours later they called back and said they couldnt/wouldnt do it. Dont waste your time with them.
I arrived early to get my trucks front tires changed. I was told it would be about 1 hour. I said ok and she recommended a front end alignment. I agreed to that as well. I waited an hour and a half and was told I was next. I waited an additional half hour. I checked with thethe CSR at the counter and was told they couldnt do it. Service here is pathetic.
Very unhappy about something here a few days ago. Sent my wife over for an alignment check. They say its out so we decided to have them do it. Well she gets home with the print out and it wasnt even out before. They sold her an alignment when it didn’t need it. Took it back to the last place that did the alignment and verified that the printout should have been deemed good when they called it out.

Shop looks very clean and well put together. Everything looks to be very well organized and labeled so you wont have to worry about the wrong things being installed. 2022-06-18Had my vehicle towed to the shop late Sunday night on a trip down 95. The alternator that I had just put in on Saturday was not operating correctly. This shop was able to find the parts required and get me back on the road by the end of the day. The mechanic was very knowledgeable and explained how to get my other light on the dashboard corrected as well..

2021-12-27I needed tires bad and in a hurry, and was forced to this place. This was a great find in a time of desperation. In this place, i found great customer service. Everyone was nice as people came in and out for service. Once they started on my car, it took no time to finish it. I was given discounts to help me with the price, which shows that they care about their customers.I will definitely be using them again. They seem to be loyal to their customers so i will definitely loyal to them. So Thanks to Mavis Tires I have 4 great tires on my car with a warranty, for a good price.

2022-05-22What a terrible experience. I would never ever recommend that anyone go to this location. I don’t know if all Mavis Tires are this irresponsibly managed. I had an appointment yesterday for Saturday at 11 AM for maintenance and tire service on the vehicle rented from enterprise. I chose this location because it was A 15 minute walk from the hotel I was staying at in Pooler Georgia. I drop the vehicle off at 10:30 AM and I walked back at 3 PM to find that the vehicle was still untouched. I was then told that there was only one mechanic and that they would have to do it the next day. I was assured that it would be done first thing in the morning. Later that evening I had a bad feeling about the vehicle being out for the night so I walked Back to check on it. I found that the vehicle was unlocked! I locked it up and walked back to the hotel. On Sunday morning at 11 AM I called to check on the status of my vehicle. At that time I was told that it should be ready by 2 pm. I was told that I would be next. I told them to leave the vehicle untouched and that I would pick it up. Their incompetence had wasted my entire weekend! Hard to believe they stay in business if they treat other customers like this! Stay away!

2022-01-30I got serviced here for the first time and it was excellent. The front desk lady miss Jackie was amazing and had great customer service. I recommend anyone whos looking to get an oil change go here and they will treat you like gold.
