I wish I could give more than 5 stars! Mavis on Abercorn have not only been accommodating they have truly been kind and very helpful. I had a flat tire on Saturday January 8th and I could not make it very far so I pulled in without an appointment the lady at the front desk was so incredibly nice was up front that there were cars in front of me so it would be a wait but she could definitely get the car fixed. I left the car expecting it to be an all day thing and 90 minutes later I got a call that my car was done and ready for pick up. The prices are not unreasonable for what you are getting and it was worth it to me. No not an employee, no Im not getting paid to say this, I am just a truly thankful customer who is thankful for the great folks at Mavis tire on Abercorn.
If I could give less than a 1/4 star rating, I would. The poor rating is SOLELY resulting in the interaction I had with the new manager at this location. I was a huge supporter of the Abercorn location, because there was a specific manager, Joshua, who was there. He took care of me from day 1 and always ensured my cars safe drivability. That individual has since left but I still thought Id give this location a try w/ the new manager, Alexis.To say that Alexis was beyond DISAPPOINTING, is GROSSLY understated. She had absolute no bedside manner whatsoever and while I can handle that, she was ABSOLUTELY unprofessional towards the former manager, Joshua. I made a comment that there seemed to be a lot of management movement with Mavis and she apparently felt that was an opening for her to berate him. She made multiple derogatory statements about him, which 1) were uncalled for; 2) were unprofessional in every way; 3) unappreciated; and 4) clearly lacked zero boundaries. Whether those statements had any truth to them or not is IRRELEVANT. Furthermore, based on my extensive and previous personal interactions with the former manager, Joshua, I know Alexis statements of his character and customer service to be absolutely untrue. He has kept my car safe and has gone the extra mile to be sure I was driving in a safe vehicle.Alexis willingness to so quickly attempt to tear down his character, to a customer, is so sad. It speaks to her integrity, which clearly, there was none in that interaction. Unfortunately, this interaction also lost Mavis a customer and I will be sure to tell anyone I know not to go to any Mavis location where Alexis is manager.
I was recently leaving the hospital and noticed when I got on Abercorn my tire pressure light came on. My tire was actively losing pressure. I saw the Mavis tire sign and drove up just as my tire went totally flat. I went in and asked if they could take a look, and they said sure. I went out and met one of the employees named Shannon. He saw that I had a nail in my tire and plugged it. He filled it with air and told me I was good to go. I told him I needed to pay and he said no mam. Mavis tire saved me ( and my husband) a lot of aggravation. They are prompt and courteous. Shannon, thank you so much!,!! Go see these guys!
We were out of town and had a self-taping bolt in our tire. We didnt realize it till it was after closing time. We called Mavis Tire, they answered and said they would wait for us to get there. When we arrived they pulled us straight in and plugged the tire and we were on our way. They said we called and needed help and that is what they are there for. My family and I can vouch for this 100%. We were very pleased and thankful for these guys!
Made an appointment online and got confirmation up to the morning of. I showed up a few minutes early to make sure everything was going to be good as scheduled. Walked up to the front desk where 3 employees were on the computer and talking. I waited and didnt want to interrupt them. Stood there a good 5 mins as they were just joking around and ignoring me. Then 2 finally went to the back and the one that stayed finally said can I help you. I gave him my appointment details and he was unable to find my appointment in the system. No problem I asked if they can still do the job today? I was getting 4 new tires at a promotional rate from online. He said he could but it would be all day and the tired on hand were significantly more than online. I declined and left. Guess the online doesnt communicate with the actual store even though I got an email saying sorry we missed you. Please work on customer service. I get the joking around but just ignoring people standing in front of you is just rude.
Great experience! Had a nail in my tire - they took me for an appointment an hour after I found it. Repaired the tire and had me out very quickly. Would absolutely recommend.
Mavis tires and brakes gave me an amazing deal on my tires I got four tires with an alignment and an oil change for $480. I did not have to wait in line my car went on the rack immediately and the staff there was amazing. I was on a budget which I explain to the manager and they were able to work out a deal with me at the price I had for my budget. The manager was very kind and the assistant was very professional. The place was very neat and clean and well organized again I stress I did not have to make an appointment and I did not have to wait in line for two hours like you do at Walmart. I went in to get my spar swapped out and have it replace the one on my truck and my spare was no good. I had a bolt in my front tire. I was so broke I couldn’t even pay attention. They plugged my tire and didn’t even charge me. They were all so very nice. Great experience.

Since my husband has started here, business has picked up. He has customers driving from 2 hour away just to come see them/him... side note, you should always treat people how you wanted to be treated & the customer is not always right. THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!I have a 5th wheel RV that needed a new tire. Although they didnt have one available, they were able to mount it on the rim after I spent half of the day finding the replacement. They were very courteous and understanding of my dilemma.
Everytime I visit this Abercorn location, I have a great experience. They always have wonderful customer service and I never have to wait for long periods of time for my vehicle to be ready. Will definitely be using this location again.
Do not take your vehicles here for maintenance. Lauren at this location is incompetent. I scheduled an oil change, tire rotation, wheel balance, and A/C repair Sunday at 0800. I brought my truck in Saturday at 2pm to give extra time for the diagnostic on the a/c system. Sunday afternoon comes and no word from mavis on my vehicle status. When I called Lauren answered the phone and had no clue what the status of my truck was and said they had no mechanics there for service. A garage without mechanics is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard. This location should be shut down. Absolutely unprofessional. Thanks mavis for wasting my time

Went to have my tires rotated and a front end alignment done. Made my appointment for 9 am. Took the truck in and it didnt move till 11:30 when I had to leave for another appointment. This is the 3rd bad experience I have had at 2 different shops. First was a tire rotation that too 2.5 hours and the second was a tire rotation and getting break work done that took 5 and half hours to do. Save your time and got to a different business
It was an easy process making an appointment for this morning when I called yesterday. Upon arrival, however, I was told they double booked appointments this morning and it would be a 2-3 hour wait. The point in making an appointment was to not have to sit and wait except for the service itself. Not impressed.
I was greeted by Jimmy at your Savannah store on Abercorn. Very professional listens well gave me choices car fixed on time I am really satisfied with the service and the price. Jimmy did a great job all around
I had new brakes, seals and flush along with a serpentine belt put in. They were very short-handed however Jimmy took care of me. All while answering phones, checking people in/out and helping out in the shop. Shaggy did a good job on a tricky brake job as well.
Alexis & John were great on my visit July 3rd. Right before the holidays. Their customer service was spectacular from beginning to end.
If you value your life do not go here!!! Service was so horrible my husband decided he better check their work. Glad he did! They failed to tighten lug nuts on both tires they had service!
Honestly, the employees here were really nice. I usually have my dad take my car for repairs so I wasnt really sure what do even though it was just for a tire change; luckily, like I said, the people here were able to explain everything to me well and I wasnt overcharged for the tires.

They ran me all over town for a Mavis that would work on duallies. Then, after driving 10 miles on a flat dually their one jack that could lift a dually was tied up under a Benz the owner had taken the rim out for repair. Wasted my afternoon and Im still stuck

Changing my review since they changed management. Last time I was there was about a month ago the staff was so helpful and nice and everything was done quickly. But today i noticed it said new management on the door and Idk what these new people in there got going on. Bad vibes, and took a hour passed the estimated time they told me. Will not be returning.

Never had such great service over the phone! Called about tires and alignment, great prices, and friendly service. Alexis got me set up with an appointment and worked out great deal for all needed services and even told me about available payment options.
Alexis was fantastic. Not only did she replace my battery successfully, but she also identified a towing company that works for AAA that I will let be nameless that had put in two expired batteries. The towing company rhymes with rasper towing. This company also messed with my windshield wipers and put them on backwards and messed with a fuse they didnt need to. Alexis fixed it for free at Mavis. She is friendly and very good at what she does. I also trust her and a lot of mechanics in Savannah, I dont. Other mechanics rip you off often, but she is honest and great at what she does. One good thing I discovered out of all this mess was a great mechanic named Alexis, who I will be using in the future if my car has any more problems, hopefully not for now.
As soon as I walked in I was greeted by Devin and was taken care of I went in to get an oil change and I was taken care very quickly. I love the service and costumers service that was provided to me!

I was told that it would take a half hr. for a patch. It is now 2 hr later and I’m still waiting. I am watching the Manager and the two counter employees have a smoke brake 40min as costumers stand at the counter waiting. Save your time and money and walk across the street.

Any time I need any repairs on my brakes, tires, oil changes, etc. they are my go-to! Very fair priced, always great customer service and friendly faces. I LOVE this shop. I know absolutely nothing about cars and trust them 100%. They are knowledgeable and dont try to pressure you into any purchases. They also always try to get all repairs done super quickly and are so nice!
I would trust these people with my life. I mean, Im trusting them with my cars life, which is pretty close. They do not screw you over when it comes to pricing and are very kind! Go here if you have any problems whatsoever! Also, theyre open on Sundays!
The people at the front are nice and helpful. But the work is very sub par. I had to go in twice to get my tires balanced and get new TPMS in each tire because they were not done right the first time. Weights flew off my wheels because they quad stacked the weights and they werent very snug on the wheel. The second time around the tires seem to be fine.

Just had a tune up and oil change few days after my oil level is at five percent the even put a sticker up but did not change my oil I could have tore my car up messing with Mavis they are very expensive with bull work the work they do on cars is not worth the money you spend I brings 4 vehicles here but I have decided to not use Mavis at all after years of this Im done
Waited three hours with an appointment took them two hours to take the car in the back then another hour to replace tires and balance. When i complained person at front got and attitude and got smart as if i was not in the right to complain..mentioning “well you can take the car with lights on or you can wait until we do out last check” no apology, no checking in just plain unprofessional.
First went out of convenience because they’re walking distance from my house but they’ve got my continued business because of their honesty, friendliness, and quality of work.

ALEXIS, was the best person at the store. Went in for an inspection for my brakes, and Something happened to my car during my brake check, and ALEXIS made sure it was resolved immediately. The Kindness, Informative, Patient, and Helpful attitude was the best part about the visit. Although I did have to wait a little longer than expected, ALEXIS had kept me updated about every single thing that was needed to be done and definitely taught me things I didnt know before about my car, which helped me understand how things operate in the future. Unfortunately, its a rough time for me financially, but blessingly, ALEXIS made it a true DISCOUNT price as the Store mentioned! Best place to get tires, and of course Brakes! 5+ Stars. Got my car serviced at this location, my first time going here. I don’t really like shops because I feel like they only care about getting your money but this place was different. The young lady kamara I think her name was really looked out for me and made sure I got the right treatment and made me feel like she cared I really appreciate her.

They agreed to install my splashguards for free (I give them the parts) provided I gave them a good review on Google; they didn’t seem to be sure of what they were doing. After the installation was done and I drove off, the parts broke off in I95, including a complete splashguard …one shield still remains and was scraping off the ground. I had to go to the dealership to get it fixed - now driving without splash guards again and waiting for the body ship appointment. Lost 120 dollars.
Went in to get my Brakes serviced on a Sunday after being turned away from another business up the street. My car was pulled in within 10 minutes of me arriving and I was made aware of what was needed in less than 30 minutes. The longest wait was for the parts I needed but even that was only about 45 minutes. I went across the street and had lunch at Outback and when I got back my car was ready to go. They also offer a Military Discount.
Chance & Alexis was very nice my first time here at this location got a pretty good deal on my tires and alignment. Chance kept me updated while I wait although I did had to wait a while they had my car sitting but Chance got my car for me and as well put air in my tires to help balance out my tires so far so good. Tire had a slow leak, called Mavis Tires and Brakes, and spoke with Chance,he said bring it in, and they check it. Place is clean, plenty of parking and good sized waiting area, steady flow of customers, most had used them before so that was a good sign. Bays were full, so we had a wait until our turn, walked thru Home depot,went back to Mavis a while later,our car was on the rack, didnt take long to find a screw in the tire, repaired it, and we got out in quick time.. thanks to the crew, and the attention Chance us and all the customers. Well be back.

Chance and the rest of the guys were spot on with my service. What he said might take all day only took 1/2 the day. Very happy with the tires I bought. Nitto 35x13.50 x20. Spoke to another tire supplier in town and they did not want to accommodate with size tire I wanted so I took my business elsewhere and I’m happy I did.
Was going to Savannah on business and had a blow out about 100 miles from my destination on I 26. By the way, AAA did a terrible job in getting me help. Got to Savannah and the next day searched about 3 hours for the right size. One nice dealer found out they had the right size at Mavis so I drove their and the manager John and the technician Mell did an absolutely greatjob and even noticed the other front tire getting ready to go and also noticed that the last tire person put the rear wheels on the wrong side. So he did that also. They had a nice waiting area with coffee, drink machines and clean rest rooms !! What a pleasure !
I trust them. Its hard when you move around a lot to find mechanics you can trust. these guys are great about explaining everything without talking down to you, giving options and prices before they start! We drive older vehicles and its such a relief to know they will keep them on the road, running good and safe for our family!

Today after starting my car, I realized that all four tires were low due to the cooler weather. Being 86 years old, I dont know how to put air in my tires. So, I headed to Mavis were I purchase my tires. I told Alexis my problem, and she said No, problem, just pulled your car about to the side and I will put air in your tires. Alexis was an angel, she put air in my tires and did it with a smile. No questions asked, she just did it. She was courteous, efficient, and so, so helpful! Thank you Alexis, you are a STAR employee they are lucky to have you and so are their customers.Thanks again!
I called, made an appointment, asked about the price(I was told $19.99 without tax) to fix my tire that I already removed. Once at the garage, I spent 3 hours waiting. When they knew that I was angry and ready to take my tire else where, they decided to start working on it. It didnt take 15 mins and once done, the bill came out almost $10 more with some fees that where not included($28.34 total). When I ask, if they could replace the tire, I was told that they dont have the tools for it(yes, and I recorded it on my dashcam). If I went somewhere else, I couldve got it done for $20 in less than 15 mins. Ill never ever come to such place again.Edit: It seems that a manager saw my phone number in the picture(I removed the picture because I didnt notice that some personal and sensitive info appeared in it) and called me trying to talk about it. You crooks treated me like my $28.34 business isnt worth your time. Now that I made it public, you want to talk? Are you trying to make me to delete this? Shame on you mavis!
I can’t possibly recommend this place more. They installed new run flat tires on my BMW, did a front end alignment, and an oil change. In each case, they let me know what promotions they had to save me money, and fully explained the warranties that came with their service. And they’re super nice, knowledgeable people. Totally worth giving these guys your business.

I took my car in around 9 for some suspension work. My mornings are crunched so time is never on my side . I was told I could pick up my car in the afternoon at 2. I was so worried about transportation until then but they blew my mind . I got a call around 11 stating my whip was ready . I thought it was a dream . Not only was timing perfect , but my car has never sounded this great in years. Excellent work and excellent customer service. The store manager and his staff was exceptional. I definitely will be back anytime I need my vehicle serviced. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!!!
Manager was great. Techs, not so much. Waited for an hour just to get a tire looked at and asked the estimated time it would be done and got nothing but attitude from the guy covering the managers break.
Got here at 10:55am for an oil change and the cashier was telling me upon arrival that they only have two technicians and the wait would be longer than normal.When I asked would it be over an hour she couldn’t confirm. However, I heard her tell another customer that came after me that she only had two cars ahead of her. Why couldn’t she tell me that?11:34am I’m still waiting and she is complete with the customer that came after me. She offered the customer free lunch as an exchange of the customer completing the survey.Even as the phone rang, she never answered it while on the phone on the phone with someone else.12:15 pm I’m checking out. The technicians didn’t speak to me but I heard them speak to others. Had Chrysler 300 that just needed brake caliper replacements. Which I already bought the replacement part. Every other shop either wouldn’t install it or was way too pricey for a simple job.Called them. They got it in. Got it done next day.
My car was in pretty bad shape 😰 I was very skeptical about taking it to anyway dealerships or Auto repair shop at first , but then my manager recommended Mavis Tire (on Abercorn) In Savannah Georgia and at that point I had nothing to lose. Walking into Mavis tire I was nervous ,but not even 2seconds later one of the staff members welcomed me. He Asked how I was doing and what could they help me with today. I kindly explained all the problems dealing with my vehicle and I really had a lot , but once they insured me with all the solutions that could be helpful for my car . It felt like a weight lifted of my shoulders the prices were VERY affordable and the staff was excellent the time management was very great even due to the issue with my car I’m so thankful
I was assisted by their rep Kimerra who was very knowledgeable and helped me find the right tires for my vehicle while i was on my road trip. i would recommend this level of customer service in all fields
Was originally quoted 1-1.5 hours for 4 new tires, mounted and balanced. I was there for 4 hours and 9 minutes. Also spent an additional $240 than what was quoted on the phone when I ordered the tires, and all the tires were under-inflated by ~9PSI upon installation. Only reason that they’re getting 2 stars is because Jason was awesome; super friendly and kept me updated.

The staff at Savannah is Tire is extremely professional and courteous, I was greeted as soon as I walked in the door. My service was done quickly, actually sooner than I expected which made my day. The store is clean and social distancing is in place and the prices are reasonable.

Since they changed companies and hired a new front desk staff and mechanics (to my knowledge) they seem to have a good thing going. Had an issue stemming from a service in January. Brought my truck in yesterday to see what the deal was. So far they have settled the issue far beyond expected. I will update once the issue is resolved fully but so far I am very satisfied. Suggestion to the company...keep employees who care about customers and not hire employees that you can pay a couple dollars less. Hire people who care and your business will strive...which so far seems to be what has been done...from my perspective. Glad to hopefully have a place I trust to take care of my vehicle.
I came in to the establishment and even though they were busy they still made time to fulfill my needs. I got the estimates I needed and prices were better then the other people I checked with. Customer service is a 10/10 and the mechanics are very professional when explaining what my vehicle needs. I will be back, and recommend to anyone who needs work done to there vehicle.

I went in because I had a tire that was quickly leaking air. They were able to patch the tire in about an hour, and the price was reasonable. However, they then tried to up-sell me on several things: new wiper blades (theyre fine), replacing the tire monitor (it had been working the entire past week including the day before - off when i would fill the tire up, then on again when the tire got low), and a new air filter. I agreed to the air filter since I knew it was about time for that to be replaced. It took close to 2 hours to install! Had I known it would take that long I wouldve said no. Finally, I got in my car and headed to work. Surprisingly, the tire monitor was lit up even though all of my tires were full of air. I called Savannah Tire and explained the situation, that the tire monitor had been functioning less than 24 hours before I brought it to the them (with no indication it was no longer functioning correctly when I arrived that morning). They claimed the batteries go bad and they can look at it again. I told them I didnt believe it was appropriate for me to pay $150 to replace something that was functioning when I brought it to them and was no longer functioning when I picked it up. They didnt have a new response. I told them Id need them to help on the price or I would go somewhere else, and they declined. I rarely write reviews, but I gave this company a chance today and they did not come through. I will not be back.
I love this place and hope to never go anywhere else! Leah and Alexis had awesome customer service in any way possible! I went in with negative expectations but these two staff members had me leave this car shop with an amazing outcome.

I recently brought my Chevy pickup to this shop for front brakes, ABS and a wheel hub bearing. The Service Manager quoted a price to replace the wheel hub, front brake pads and rotors and have the ABS working again. When I picked up my truck I was told the ABS could not be repaired but the price was the same as originally quoted. I was told ABS repair would be substantially more! I would not recommend this shop due to their dishonest quote for the work originally quoted. Had the Service Manager been upfront on the ABS I would write a completely different review. Basically, I feel Ive been charged for repairs that were quoted but not completed.

I would not recommend going here to anyone, I have been a long time customer of Savannah Tire at this location for years. Now that Mavis has Takened over the service is sub standard. This one technician who was supposed to be balancing and rotating my Truck tires could not do his work for talking on the cell phone, walking around with not a care of what he was doing. Then the lady at the counter tried to make excuses for his lack of work. Never again. 2 1/2 hrs just to.get to my truck then he walks around on the phone.

Great emergency service when we blew a trailer tire; the only place within 20 miles that had our tire in-stock. I was in and out in less than 15 minutes! Impressive.
I was out w/my neighbor when her check engine light came on. Every driver knows that feeling. We went to Savannah Tire. Jason told her she just needs to remember to tighten her gas cap when she gets gas. What a relief! So thankful for his honesty. Only reason I dont give a full five star is because theres this fair skinned lady who works the front station service counter that always has an aura of attitude and shortness with me the few times I have gone to this location (for example, last time I asked her how long it approximately would take to do my front brakes and her tone when she said well try to get to it as soon and quick as possible wasnt very pleasant; I ultimately was just trying to get an approximate time to decide if I should call in late/tardy to my job later on that day). Other than her, my experience with this location has been very positive and I love their competitive prices on services compared to the Nissan dealership service center I sometimes go to, to get service.
Brought a tire in for a patch. I came back in about an hour and the guy hands me the tire and says there you go so I asked what I owed and he said nothing. Just give us a good review. I am and I did!! 5 stars!! Thank you Mavis Tires!!!
I called this place because I caught a flat and needed some sort of assistance sooner rather than later. They had an attitude because I didn’t know the exact size of my tires. I asked if they can look it up by the make and model of the vehicle. They made it seem like it would be impossible & then told me they didn’t have the tire I would need for my vehicle. I decided to check their site cause something told me they were being unprofessional and lazy, come to find out, they actually do stock tires for my vehicle. Thanks for nothing.

This place has always been honest about the real services your car needs. We have been ripped off by local dealers with needed services to our cars only to find out they were not needed or if they were needed they were grossly overpriced. Anthony and his team did a great job the day we brought our car in. Reasonably priced and good quality work by this location!

My car was giving me starting problems. Finally got it started and drove straight to Savannah Tire. I pulled up with the car still running. Explained to them what was going on. Within 10 minutes they had my car in the back. Very nice staff and trustworthy mechanics. I would definitely recommend.
I dont even know where to start with my experience here... I was referred here from Savannah Tire at Mall Boulevard to get my thermostat fixed. I was informed by Joy that it would take two or three days to get the thermostat into the shop, and I was more than okay with that. So Thursday comes and I drop off my car, I hand Joy the key, I leave. Friday comes and nobody reaches out about my car, so I said okay I guess theyre still working on it. So I gave them a call, and Harold said they were still working on it. Saturday was the fourth so they were closed, and I didnt mind that. Sunday comes, I still recieved no calls from anyone about my car. So I gave them a call, and I still got the same excuse. Nobody told me what was wrong with my car, whether my asumption was correct about the thermostat, nothing at all. So Monday comes, and I still hadnt gotten any calls from them. So I called and got Jason on the phone, and he told me that a gasket had to be replaced. I dont know when that happened, but apparently these grown men were too afraid to communicate that to little old me. So I was highly upset after that and I decided to show my face, because what else in the world could you be hiding from me about MY car? I am the owner, tell me whats wrong with my car. Period. So I get to the shop, and I spent nearly two more hours there waiting on it to finally be serviced. If it werent for Joy being there, I mightve flipped my lid. No cap. She was wonderful, to say the least. In fact, when I arrived, she noticed me and asked me about my car and thought I was done with the transaction days ago, so Im assuming she had the weekend off. The store manager was kind enough to waive my entire price check, in which case I was floored and incredibly grateful. I didnt start a fuss in the shop, either. They were really understanding of my situation and Im incredibly grateful. If I ever go back there, it will be only for Joy or the manager.

A lot cheaper than going to the Volkswagen dealership down the street for regular maintenance requirements. Got some basic tires for hella cheap and I havent spun out on a rainy day, despite trying to lol. Im very happy with them. Griffin is awesome. Definitely recommended stop for brakes tires and suspension.
Had a change, after, oil light came on, arrived home, checked the oil stick, no oil, Mavis didnt put oil back into the motor, how in the world can You get a oil change, and the mechanic forgot to put in the oil, Mavis came to the house and put in the oil, I only received my next oil change free- (I had to ask) WITH OIL,sorry service for sure, lucky, I only live 2 blocks away, the motor could have locked up...NEW MOTOR
This is the best location in Savannah Tire. I have been to different auto repair stores and find this has the best service, prices and great selection. I have had my car serviced and tires replaced and the staff is stellar. The store manager Dave is one of the most knowledgeable and helpful and sales associates go out of there way to get me home if my car is there for a long period of time.I know they are short handed and vehicle may take longer than usual but well worth the way. Highly recommended..

Horrible experience at the Savannah (Anderson St.) location. When making an appointment please do not expect them to actually have the tires that you pre-selected in stock. Also, please disregard the e-mail confirmation that they send you outlining your specific tire order along with the date/time of your service as that is apparently meaningless. When you arrive at your scheduled appointment time do not expect them to tell you that they dont actually have your tires onsite. Instead they will tell you to return in 90-120 minutes and the work will be complete. Dont be surprised when you return 120 minutes later and your vehicle has not been touched. Its at this point, after completely wasting your time, that they will tell you that they dont actually have your tires and are waiting for a delivery. This is when I suggest that you take your keys and leave. Dont expect timely communication or customer service. What you can expect is blank stares, shoulder shrugs and finger pointing. You can also expect an e-mail from them the following days asking why you skipped your appointment. Again, complete time wasters. Would have given zero stars but that is not an option.

I went in to have a tire replaced. It took them about 3 to 4 hours to do that. I had to call to see if them were done. So when I picked up my car and drove down, I noticed that they changed the wrong tire. I turn around and head back, when I get there the saleman is like its no big deal. I had to leave my car overnight, still to get no call in the morning to say my car is ready. I will not be using this location again.

I have rare tires on my car (185/60r16), and while they werent able to get this particular tire, the manager made sure I received a wheel that would get me off of my spare(185/55r16), switched it off in excellent time, and offered me an incredible deal for a full set. I highly recommend trying this place out.
Great location and very responsive service. This location can get very busy and you may have to wait a long time or come back to pick up your vehicle. Pricing is okay... better than a dealer. The workmanship has never been an issue for me. Any problems I have had have been minor and resolved very quickly. I wil continue to use Savannah Tire for servicing my vehicles. 4-1/2 Stars.
For the fourth time using this shop, I scheduled an appointment, only to be told when I got there to drop off a vehicle that the appointment wasnt valid. And the lady at the front desk is less than pleasant to interact with to say the least. It’s not like their mechanics do the best job as it is. This is probably one of the worst places in Savannah to take your vehicle for repairs. Other locations might be better, but I would suggest using almost anyone other than the Abercorn location. 1/10 Never again.

Went in for a price quote. Friday, November 29th around 5:30pm at Abercorn store. The sales attend (younger Caucasian female) was very off putting. Automatically didn’t want to assist. Insisted that I give her exact measurement of tire and said that she couldn’t help me if I didn’t have it. She didn’t ask the year, make or model of my car. She did absolutely no probing. My dad was with me and happened to know the exact measurements. Without knowing any info one of the guys standing behind her said it would cost $50. I already had a tire just needed them to put it on the rim. So then I asked how much it would be if I bought a tire. She automatically quotes me $150. She didn’t give me a brand, didn’t ask which tire is needed, didn’t ask me anything about the car. Just quoted me $150 with a very off putting attitude. None of the associates wanted to assist us. It was very disappointing and frustrating. I am from Atlanta Ga and was in town visiting family and was trying to get a tire for a family member who got a flat while traveling in town for Thanksgiving. I would not recommend this place to anyone I know. Customer service stinks or maybe they were discriminatory because of the way we look. Either way my service was not welcomed at all. It seemed like they randomly quoted me prices in attempt to get rid of me. I am saddened by this experience and will NEVER visit this company/organization again!

Inferior service, bait and switch techniques at an all time high. Management disrespected corporate by stating corporate is not on same page with promotions. Over charged for inferior service and make you wait longer God forbid you have to return the same day in which I did because I paid for the computer balance package but immediately had to bring the car back because it shook violently at 70 mph. Managers who don’t know when they are killing a sale by over talking and not know when they are pouncing.
Dont talk to your customers about your issues with other customers - and on a very prejudicial/racist/political level.Work on your customer service skills and professionalism.Also somehow they managed to overlook the fact that there was a nail in my tire and told me there was nothing wrong with it... how do you miss something like that??Good price for the service I guess and fairly quick... but they overlooked a pretty major detail.

Dont recommend at all. They greeted me coming in with kindness, but then kept my truck for an hour for an alignment, just to tell me they could not do the alignment because I supposedly needed $2,000 worth of front end work done. (They listed repairs I already had done within the past year!!) I went elsewhere and come to find out all I needed was to replace one tire (in the rear, not the front!) and that fixed my rough ride. Shame on you guys for trying to scam your customers.
Thanks to John and the crew at Mavis, my husband and I were able to get back on the road quickly. We had a flat tire from a screw that they were able to patch up even on a very busy day. Thanks again, guys!

Use anywhere else in town. I’ve been here many times in the past year. Tire prices are decent, but they attempt to up-sell on items or services you don’t need with every visit. Making an appointment is a waste of time. Their schedule is so mismanaged that a simple leak repair will take 2+ hours even with an appointment. All of this might be tolerable if they practiced any kind of customer service. I suggest somewhere else.
I come to the Abercorn Street location without an appointment. They were very nice and listened to me and what problems I was having (with my pull behind motorcycle trailer). They assured me that they would get to it as soon as possible and they did! Outstanding customer service and I (as usual) have been very satisfied with them. I have tried short cuts on tire deals, maintenance and other services from other places (I thought I saw a deal somewhere else) but paid the price dearly. One time I gave my tires to (cant say the name.....Boys) and they cracked all four of my beautiful chrome truck rims during the tire installation. Very difficult moment to say the least. Final lesson learned....I trust Savannah Tire more and more each time I visit them.

Mixed feelings about car mechanic places but hopefully Savannah Tire on Abercorn has won me over. Though they were very courteous and even drove me home while my car was being repaired (granted, I only live about a mile away) but they called and picked me up when it was done in my own car. Great idea so I can feel and listen to the car as we went back to settle up. They have my seal of approval and I would recommend them to anyone.
Anytime I have needed work done on my car I have taken it to Savannah Tire. I have experienced several of them in Savannah but the one on Abercorn is the only one that hasnt lied to me or messed with my car in some way to make me have to take it back again. The customer service has always been great and the work is good as well. It can be a bit pricey to go there, I will admit. At least I know I am getting what I pay for. I will not go to any of the other ones as they are all independently owned and the other ones have lied to me and tried to get me to have them fix things on my car that werent broken. I have been going here reliably for the last 2 years.
I have been doing business with Savannah Tire for 18 years and I am ALWAYS satisfied. The work is always done satisfactorily and it is clearly explained at the desk. Suggestions are sometimes made for additional work to prolong the life of the car, but there is no hard sell or pressure to do more than one wishes or can afford. Other places may be cheaper but I trust the techs that work on my car as well as the management.

I went there because I spotted a nail in one of my vans rear tires and surprisingly after a few minutes in the waiting room, one of the associates at the store came back to me saying that the nail had not gone through the tire. They didnt charge me a penny...This people has integrity...

Called the Abercorn Location to get a quote on two tires - i was told the total cost for my tires would be $165 and was then asked what time i could come in for an appointment. I then booked an appointment for a few hours later in the day. I arrived at the location at my appointment time and asked for my price again. I was told it would be $197. I don’t know how it went up $32 in a matter of hours, but i was told that i spoke to the call center and they only quoted me for 1 tire. I didn’t know 1 tire could cost $165. I was then told if i wanted to be “cut a deal” - and “how did i like the sound of that?” I could be charged $327 for four tires. When i refused i was told “i can get it even better” and i was offered $298 for four tires. I’m confused what the actual cost per tire is. Do the deed not have to be charged? Why am i being cut a deal on a service? Very confused and have never felt like savannah tire has been so pushy. Disappointed. 1/10
Very Dissatisfied. The girl at the counter is rude and pushy and is always on her phone or not at the counter. Zack is probably the best employee there hes friendly and attentive. He always helps me in a short amount of time. If it werent for him I would Savannah Tire would not get my business.
Had an appointment for 2pm for a tire change. Took until 7 to get my car back. Now my car is shakes. About a year ago we took our Volvo because it was overheating. Replaced the radiator for $1500! Turns out the car just needed a new thermostat. Also tried to sell me a new battery which had been replaced within a week of being in the shop.
Waited two and a half hours for a brake appointment before giving up and asking for my keys so I could leave. Not so much as an apology -- just a grunt and someone elses car keys. I will not be back.
Terrible service. Changed price on me twice once at the shop. Actually after waiting an hour and they had a chance to look at what we had already talked about and agreed to a price. These guys dont know anything about tires or customer service. call someone else for service and save yourself some time.

Savannah Tire use to be my go to place for all of my automotive care for 10 years. However, after they were bought out, it just isnt the same. I went there a couple years ago to get an alignment and oil change after I purchased new tires. My car was literally in the shop for 10 -15 minutes. I automatically thought they didnt do the alignment because I had purchased new tires somewhere else. Although I have no proof that they did it or not, sure enough, after a year and a half, I have ruined those tires because of alignment issues. It really is a shame how it has changed. I use to be able to trust them. Now I am in search of a new and trustworthy mechanic.

Very friendly & displays excellent customer service! The employees have a great sense of integrity & I trusted them with my vehicle. When I got my car back it ran like a brand new car ( I drive a 201O Kia)

2022-06-03If you come to this establishment, ask for Randy! It was close to their closing time and they weren’t supposed to be accepting any walk ins but I was in need of a fill in for my tire! Like I was riding on the hub bad! He fixed my tire up and got me back on the road expeditiously! Quick and efficient service! Definitely would recommend!

2021-12-14Came in to the shop to replaced all four of my brakes and rotors on my 2018 RAM 2500. Mechanic who did my brakes left off two bolts on my calipers which could of cause a catastrophic failure of my brakes. My brake caliper was no secured. I drove the truck 300 miles before I caught the problem. Would not recommend getting your car serviced here. When it comes to brake jobs it’s a matter of life and death and I would never trust them to touch my car again

2022-04-18A couple of weeks ago I made a pop in visit to the Mavis Tire shop on Victory. My back tire was slowly leaking air over a few days after putting air in it myself. I was so concerned and nervous but these guys serviced me quickly, patched her right up at a great price too! Friendly, professional and speedy staff, thank you so much Lorenzo, Alex and Jimmy. Will def return in the future!

2022-04-18Our trip home to Canada started poorly and we limped into this shop early morning with a flat tire on our Airstream trailer. Josh was on duty and agreed to try and help us. He promptly repaired the tire and sent us on our way with his good wishes. Amazing, excellent service. Highly highly recommend this place. Many thanks to Josh for his kindness.

2022-04-12Came in near closing with a tire with a leak. Mavis was very accommodating in getting my vehicle right in and repairing the tire. I was not pressured into replacing the tire, when it was repairable. I would be very likely to see them when I do need new tires-appreciating the honesty and timely way they handled my issue. This level of professionalism is not found everywhere.

2022-05-15Not very impressed with this place. Took my car to get a brake job and oil change. Was told I may need new rotors and asked them to call me before hand so I could give the go ahead. They called like I asked but when I asked for a quick estimate I was told I would get a call back. Never got that call. Then about an hour later received a call that they were having problems getting some bolts off of my caliper. I agreed to leave my car over night to soak in penetrating oil in hopes that would help. It didn’t. My experience was very negative as I was spoken to like it was my fault that my car was so rusted that the bolts were seized. I admit I’m not the best at car maintenance but I can’t help but think that because I am a female I was spoken down to. My ending total was over $500 and I wasn’t made aware until after services were performed as well as the job was not completed as they didn’t replace the front rotors because my car was too rusted. Very pricey for simple services. Next time I will have them done at home.

2022-05-27What a great place to for your tire needs. I spoke with Josh at the front desk and he was very knowledgeable. I needed a tire repaired and they had it repaired to like new condition in no time. I could not recommend this place enough.

2022-04-25Great service. Great people! Pulled in with a totally flat rear tire which turned out to be a screw which punctured the tire. They located the hole, took the tire off, sealed and patched the tire, all done immediately without wait, and did it at no cost. Wont find many today with this level of service doing something at no charge. Highly recommend.
