Ok the food is good and drinks with friends was great. Darts and billiards are fun and place is clean. However if you are allergic to cigarette smoke you will hate it.
Menu is kind of all over the place but the place has potential. Loved the pool tables.. maybe send Jon Taffer?
My son introduced me to Mazzys some time ago, but after I started to play Pool recently elsewhere, I realized what an excellent facility Mazzys offers. The stall is attentive and courteous, the food and drinks are of a generous size, and delicious. I still lost 4 of 5 games to my son last night. Oh well!
I live very close and will sometimes stop in or Uber eats from here. The food has been very consistent and although I think the kitchen can be a little faster, I am not complaining too much.Keep in mind that this place is an old school bar and smoking is allowed. It will smell like smoke in there so be prepared if you are sensitive to that kind of thing.
I came here with friends to watch the super bowl and it was packed but still had a good time, decent food and service

Fantastic service from Trista and Esteban at this location (Roswell, Alpharetta Highway). Trista was knowledgeable, patient, relatable and very well spoken and took care of us from moving from the bar to a table to a pool table and darts and never missed a beat. Trista and the manager Esteban made my friends birthday experience fast, easy and convenient. I recommend anyone to come to this location and ask for Trista she will take care of you like she took care of me and my friends which is with the utmost professionalism and speed and they both also care about customers the way they care about family. Music selection was so fun too with a mix of rock, reggaeton, r&b and club music 🎵

Great food, fun atmosphere. The only downside (and its a HUGE one for my family) is that they allow open smoking in the entire bar. Its so smokey, its hard to breathe for us non-smokers. Prevents my family from returning.

Food was good and service was definitely on point. I would prefer a different ambience. Interiors are showing their age. If smoke (cigarettes and similar) bothers you, maybe consider other alternatives.
This is a great place to have a beer and watch sports. The food is what you would expect from a sports bar....its not great...but it was good. They have a great draft beer selection. The staff was very nice and we had no problem getting them to change the TV to a game we wanted to see.The only negative is that they allow smoking. If you cant stand smoke.....go somewhere else.
Mazzys has the best sweet Thai chilli wings in town, not to mention the drinks are reasonably priced .
I wish the pool tables were cleaner but still they are the most decent pool tables Ive seen in Atlanta.

Had a good time playing pool with my friends, but the wings we ordered has messed up my experience as they were dry rubbed wings with no proper flavor stuck to them. The service was very late as well to the table. Though the server was courteous to us, it wouldve been a good experience putting in extra care. The pool table also wasnt that great due to its quality

Went there on a 21st birthday. Definitely plan on heading back. Also Im glad the staff was super understanding of my friend that didnt know his own limit. 10/10 would go again👌
So let me start by saying that LYNEE IS AMAZING I literally ordered no drink and trusted her with everything from food to drink. She’s beautiful, funny, knowledgeable and belongs in this industry she brings joy to her customers and creates an amazing ambiance!
I came in twice within two nights... first night started rocky and ended very great! Our bartender/server was amazing and attentive. I brought coworkers who I thought would love this place especially since we are all in the service industry both nights we asked for bottle beer this is a preference and I was offered a choice both nights asked for a bottle both nights and was given a draft. I approached the bartender/server about this that I had the night before then somehow the server was informed and then got aggressive and aggravated and would not approach the table anymore. Also I understand getting aggravated with a guest she didn’t have anything to do with my first experience but instead she ignored not only me but 5 other people who had nothing to do with the draft/bottle problem. You are in the service industry.UPDATE: Stayed for a while after and gave pool a shot the management does check these reviews and I loved that he approached us and did an incredible job of hearing us out and making sure that we were well taken care of by the end of the night!! We will be back next time we are in town for a conference!
I would definitely say its one of the best bars in the area their menu is huge variety of all different types of foods they have a bunch of different drinks to choose from a lot of beers on tap multiple TVs multiple pool tables! Ive been going to this bar for years and Im glad that theyre in my area I would feel more than welcome to bring anybody there
We’ve been customers to this location (ROSWELL) for past 10 years. But this past year, after top management finally “heard” us, meaning we, customers, this Bar is back being an amazing place to go. Food is always great, and service & management are back to top service. Their Wings are one of best we’ve ever had.PS: we’re not only customers with this complaint, but About 1 year ago, we posted a very long complain on Yelp ( along with dozens of other unhappy customers) and hoped Owners would read because even though for the last 3 Years before our complain on declining service, the extremely loud music, and the now ex-“Manager” wouldn’t even try getting Bar back to it was, and was horrible .. we didn’t want to quit this Sports Bar.Owners and top management (River) not only Read the post on Yelp, but took action. I believe “Manager” was fired, Servers & Service are back being great, and finally the extremely loud music is gone, so now we can go back w friends that had quit going there, can have normal conversations & enjoy atmosphere at bar.Hope it continues one of the best local Sports Bar! 5 stars for this place.
We went in and sat down and after receiving no service for 15 minutes we left. It was my wifes birthday and we wanted to support a neighborhood business. Thats pretty difficult when the business doesnt understand customer service. This place will not survive if they keep up this trend. Do better guys!
This is a decent bar - plenty of pool tables, tvs, and drink specials. And they still allow inside smoking which is a plus for many as these establishments slowly disappear. Theres an arcade corner that has Big Buck Hunter, a pinball machine and two Golden Tee games. Kylie is the best bartender so be sure to ask for her!

Lets take all the things we love from a restaurant, and all those things that make up a sports bar and squeeze them together. Good food, pool tables, dart boards, and who knows how many TVs fill the inside with one or more bars placed strategically in the extra space.The menu has specials that the chef will change from time to time. So its affordable and always changing.

Drink prices really good.Exhaust problem. You will reek of cigarette smoke.Food can be very tastey. Especially whenHollywood is in the kitchen.Food specials are tastey.Other than that, good SPORTS bar.Great neighborhood bar!
6 dart boards and 8 or 10 pool tables. Very very smokey. You will need to strip and wash your clothes when you get home if you do not enjoy the ripe smell of a smokey bar. Staff is ok. Management is not as good since the long time owner/manager left.
Went here to watch the UGA game. Smelled cigarette smoke as soon as we hit the door. Everyone was smoking. Turned around and left. If you smoke, this is your place.Thank you for your response back. No where on your website does it say smoking. I would agree if your name was Mazzys smoking lounge or if it was clearly marked online. Hopefully Ill save other non smokers from making the same mistake.

Drinks were good. Cheese fries were good but the burger I ordered to go was raw. This place would be much better if it werent so full of smoke.
I have not been to this business yet, but I looked at the reviews and I loved the owners response to some of the reviews. Just moved here from Seattle, looking forward to meeting the pool community in Northern ATL

By far the best Mazzys (love all Mazzys, but Roswell will always be my #1) I dont even smoke anymore but I always find myself at this extraordinary dive bar. Food is 10/10, music is on point, and they have that Dry County Blueberry Lemonade Vodka on tap that this girl cant get enough of. Thank you for your service to the Roswell community, Mazzys.

This is one of the best bars around. Great food, huge location with pool, darts etc. You can smoke there and the patrons and staff are very friendly. I always find someone to talk to when I visit and need to kill some time to avoid traffic.

I am writing this review sitting and here. First of all, this is the first time I ever gave one star to a business. And I dont want to put race into this but I have to some stuff are just not right. I came in, sat down for about 10mns and nobody passing by, not even asking if I need anything or not. Meanwhile, there is group of 4 white dudes in front of me. I believe they came few minutes before me, since I saw them ordering drinks while I was sitting. Anyway, I had to ask for for the menu. And 15mns passed with no one even caring to ask if I am ordering something. Finally one waitress came and took my order. I am eating my shrimps now. But for the first time I will not be tipping. I know people working in the service industry rely on the tips. I have been there before. But I guess a minimum should be done to deserve a tip. Well, this is my last time there...
Place is great with surprisingly very good food. 5 star rating is because its exactly like you would think but potentially even better for a pool, darts, sports bar.
Stay away from the pull pork it was just awful taste like old meat someone tossed in the oven and put bottled bbq sauce on it the coleslaw was described in the menu as creamy... what a joke it’s vinger based and bland nothing creamy about it.. wasted money!!! The fries were ok but they had no seasoning but I ate them. I asked my daughter who paid to ask for her money back i would have done better going to Wendy’s if all I wanted was fries. #disappointed#

Great food and beautiful waitress services me but when the bust boy came up I was asked to leave because he had to clean up the mustard on my table. Literally just because the bust boy had to do the job he was employed to do. So anyway avoid patronizing this establishment as their staff will clearly hassle you if they are bothered to do their job.
Imagine my disappointment in discovering that they ALLOW SMOKING. Why would none of your other locations do so and this one, in upscale Roswell of all places, let people smoke?! People who play pool smoke. was the answer I received when I called to find out if they allowed smoking before deciding where to meet a friend tonight. A LOT of people who choose to live healthy (dont smoke) enjoy playing pool, myself included. Its ludicrous how many establishments still permit this injurious habit in this day & age. Guess my search continues.... It shouldnt be this difficult to find a good atmosphere with food, drink, fun music & a few activities that keeps its air clean for the majority of customers.
Wife and I play pool there every week. A few of the staff now knows our group by first names and its a nice feeling to walk in and have them greet you by your name. Awesome place!
Been going to mazzys for a while now thought I would give a good review. Mostly because Mazzys has good EVERYTHING! Which makes the place amazing in my book. Good prices, good food, good service, good pool tables, and good times. So its a great place to be a regular at.

Horrible service. This place went down hill. Had to wait hand and foot for service. Also they do not card. They just keep serving. But... if you sit towards the end, they will not serve you. You have to find the bartender. Worse service ever. Good place for underage drinking as well

Dark, relaxed environment with friendly staff and regulars. Poker and pool league every week and GREAT food, which surprised me considering its a bar. Bourbon Chicken Plate cant be beat!
Decent food.( It is a bar) so dont expect Wolfgang Puck.Decent service, usually plenty of staff .It is not an absolutely wonderful place , but it fits in nicely where it is....and it slightly exceeds the industry standard for this type of establishment.
After being seated, we asked 2-3 servers if we could order our food and each told us they were not our servers and that someone will be with us shortly. In the following 30 minutes, after I went to get a round of beers at the BAR, since no servers were helping us, we had enough... Service was HORRIBLE, so bad that I asked to speak to the manager (first time I have ever done this in my life). After complaining, the manager apologized and asked us what we were drinking and if he could get us another round of drinks (we were table of 3, each had a draft beer). Server finally arrived, food finally ordered, second round of drinks arrived, food arrived (which was mediocre at best, my burger was undercooked, fries sucked), then our bill arrived.. The second round of drinks, which we all assumed were on the house because of the horrible service we had at the beginning was NOT!!!
This is a great late night place to grab food and a drink. The menu here is the best out of all the other close mazzy locations, love the cauliflower. Just wish it was non smoking
Tonight is the first time in a long time the food and the service was great I am sure it is because I sat at the bar and the bartender has been here a long time and does her job (Nichol) thank you for the great service.This is really the only place in Roswell to come late to get food besides Millers and they are the worst for service . I just wish the service was better here.
This is a great place to play pool, darts or just hang out with your friends at the bar. Its a little smokey but thats kind of expected for the genre. The food is exceptional and affordable.

Bob you allowed me to walk out unhappy I paid for my order and even added a tip for my order that was called in for pick up and it was incorrect . When addressing that fact that my order was incorrect you blamed me for not requesting all flats because your server swore that all flats where not requested . Instead of apologizing and advising me that you put a new order in and it would take 20 minutes you blamed me and said we can get you all flats but it will take 15 - 20 minutes I declined took my order and left . I didnt request a refund nor a discount and still left the tip UNHAPPY .

Not gourmet nor high end but a great place for a beer and mediocre food. Rather large space inside allows you to meet up with a friend even during peak times and still get a table. Lots of sports and games (darts, pool, etc).

Walked in and realized I’d be eating lunch in a dirty ashtray and left. So gross! No thanks! Won’t be back unless it becomes a non smoking restaurant and they find a way to get that nasty cigarette stench out!

Worse place ive ever been thick cigarette smoke racist bartender and my food was burned...BURNED chicken tenders that were dark as tree bark i waited almost a hour for burnt food only to be reimbursed which never came i waited another hour and 30 mins and just deiced to leave because the smoke was so bad i felt racially profiled as soon as i spoke to the bartender i could tell she was unwelcoming of my kind and didnt even want to be bothered she didnt even want to take my order or request very sad for alpharetta this place is my home

The staff here is pretty bad... On a slow day after work, no one seated us so we sat ourselves, then about 10 minutes until someone approached. Girls need to get in shape as well.

2022-05-29Pretty cool experience. Server was friendly and attentive. Wasn’t too busy. This would be a fun place to come play pool, grab a drink, hang out with a group, etc but I wouldn’t come here just for the food. The food wasn’t bad at all but it didn’t wow us much. The nachos were a huge portion but the chicken Alfredo was not. The mozzarella sticks were kind of bland. This place does allow smoking so be aware. Overall, a pretty cool place!

2022-04-28Amazing location! Amazing food! I had the Caesar salad with a blackened filled of fish. The fish was cooked perfectly! I loved it so much I am ordering another to take home for dinner!

2022-06-18Food was good. Vibe is cool. Service was pleasant and welcoming. Plenty of pool tables. Restaurant and bathrooms were very clean. Missing one star because although they had plenty of staff, our bartender went MIA for a while and later when we got a table, so did our waitress. It was difficult to find or get attention of another staff member during those times.

2022-05-15Im a nonsmoker but I enjoy going in. It is open late and the kitchen stays open pretty late as well. Ive only had the hot wings but they have always been plump and freshly cooked. Pool tables, darts and lots of sports on tv. Beats a late night trip to waffle house.

2022-06-01Came to visit from out of state, wanted to grab a drink with my homegirl from here which we usually do when I come to visit, I got denied because of my vertical ID that I’m 100% legal on! I’ve been here several times but Chris is choosing to discriminate on myself & my homegirls that’s always here. He even asked me questions about my ID that I answered back correctly because it is myself! I feel very uncomfortable about this whole situation and I will NEVER get disrespected in such way again. I will never again come to this place while his presence still remains.

2022-07-01Service is great, food is great. Its a smoking bar, so anyone with asthma should avoid it. I tolerate it because its close to home. They do take Doordash and UberEats orders.

2021-08-05Decent place for palying pool. Liked the air filter setup that clears the cigarette smoke inside. The waiters could do a better job at serving. They removed the beer glasses even while the folks were still drinking.

2021-01-31Im from Shelby NC and came here originally because my work has me nearby in a hotel, and wanted a place to enjoy some decent food late night during covid. I didnt think I would be coming in 3 times a week during the month Ive been here. My wife traveled down and we ate and played pool and had a good night. The bartenders are extra sweet and if treated right they will remember ur name and drinks. Its a dive bar at heart but has some great food and a large menu , with homemade splashes in all the food from what I am hearing and tasting. Enjoy a good toke and some mazzys and have a good time.
