Its a Very Mellow place with great service and even better pies.
Great attention and delicious food. We had the Spinach Salad and my favorite pizza, the Magical Mystery Tour which they took off the menu but make it at your request, how great is that?
Customer of perhaps 20 years at this location. Ordered through Uber Eats for son’s birthday. When finally arrived, the food was cold and soggy, the pizzas were insanely greasy, and the topics were basically non-existent. I get that this is delivery, but could not be more disappointed. In the very least, at least pretend that you actually care about quality.
Food always looks and tastes great and comes out on time and if there is a delay they let us know. Clean restaurant and bathrooms as well. Great customer service even if something goes wrong. Obviously the employees here are human beings and they make mistakes on occasion, but they go above and beyond to make it ok with us in the rare event something does happen. Workers are always friendly and personable. Five stars is well deserved !
First bad or should I say terrible experience at a Mellow Mushroom, Ordered 2 Pizza’s to go a veg and a buffalo chicken, won’t deliver under $75 so they said to pickup in 20 min. Go there in 20 min, Pizza is not ready and won’t be ready for another 10-15 minutes; when I come back to the brewery, the buffalo chicken has bacon all over it which I didn’t ask for. When I called to let them know, rather than apologies, It went into a long drawn explanation of the poor service...I avoid writing reviews but had to share this experience..
Yaco was terrific. He told us about the town and the history of the business. He was friendly and just a great host overall. He made us I laugh and brightened our night. This location is very relaxed and personable and I will definitely be back because of the service, food, and the staff. 10/10 hands down.

Can’t eat pizza but was able to pick from a couple other items on menu that were great! The servers here are awesome and very knowledgeable. The food came out quick and hot, tasted delicious, and could tell was fresh food!
Usually love this place but had a really unfortunate experience the other day. Placed a takeout order and arrived 5 minutes early for pickup. I paid and then proceeded to wait for a bit. 25 minutes later, I finally asked someone to check on my order - I didnt think this would be necessary as I was standing in plain view and they saw me and knew I was waiting. When she checked, it turns out the pizza had been ready for awhile, and multiple people then questioned me skeptically as to whether I had already paid for it - including the lady who took my payment!I dont mind paying $35 for a good pizza, but when its accompanied by a long unnecessary wait, lukewarm temperature, and questioning of my integrity, it really soured what was supposed to be a celebratory night for our family.
The best vegan pizza ever!!!!! Ty cooked it hands down to you man! ✋🤚 Thiago the manager helped me out find the right person for the task and was very helpful and ethical. I will be buying my pizza here from now on. All these famous pizza chains are sorry no options for vegans!
My wife and I love this place! Were stuck on a large Greek salad and medium white pizza. They are both excellent. So good we have not tried anything else. Service is good, friendly. Atmosphere is post-hippie funk which is comfortable especially if you lived through the 1960s.
Great food, great staff. This restaurant is located ate a very convenient location in Alpharetta. On top of it surrounded by a few food options, justin case you change your mind. This was my first visit to this place. Food was good, quantity was decent, ambiance was nice, noticed decent amount of people. Only drawback which I noticed, we need to wait for 30 minutes before we got our food and we group of people of 3(2+1) spent 30$ for pizza.
Went in and got seated after a couple of minutes. The person who seated us went and sat down behind the bar. One waitress was slowly working her way around the restaurant, but never approached us. After 15 minutes and no one speaking to us to even take a drink order, we left.
Stopped in with 4 adults and 4 kids.atmosphere was upbeat and the restaurant was clean. Waitress helped us right away with a drink order and have us time to order. Ordered 2 bowls of the mushroom soup (which was suggested), a large house specialty and a half cheese half pepperoni for the youngsters. Got our soup and it was cold and easily could have been a meal in itself. Our pizza came soon enough and it was delicious. Lots of toppings and the cheese melted perfectly. Couple of gripes. Despite many people checking up on us, our empty soup bowls and drink cups were never taken away. Also, there was no baby changing station in either bathroom.
Prompt and considerate service. Clean restaurant. This is one of the better mellow mushrooms I have visited.
We absolutely love this Mellow. Have been coming here for years and always have a great experience. Tonight we went because I had a pregnancy craving for the enlightened salad (admittedly mainly because of the home made candied pecans.) I was so bummed when our server told us they were out. We went ahead and ordered and ate our pizza (which was perfect) and just as we were about to leave she came over with a cup of warm, freshly made candied pecans just for me. Made this pregnant ladys night! 😉
Went today and had ordered hoagie - even though the waitress initially had gotten the order wrong, the staff quickly addressed the issue and brought out the correct order in a short amount of time - I could even hear the staff following up on the correct order in the kitchen. Im very impressed with the service provided. Will come back for sure!
I want to like this place because the food is good and always comes out great but every-time I come to this place it takes 45min+ or more to get my food. I get that good pizza takes time but come on!.
Great place to eat dinner with my family. Consistently good service, food, and beer selection. Big tables make sharing pizzas easier. When weve had a complaint, its been dealt with promptly and professionally. Keep doing you, MM Windward!
So good, family friendly staff that really cares about you and your experience here. Pizza is amazing, like always, fresh ingredients and have a wide variety of bottles beers, draft beers and of course, a full bar, but the staff here is great

Friendly staff and great pizza! Many options for toppings...always cooked perfectly. If you love sweet tea..its the place to get it :-) Great place for to go orders as well.
The Holy Shiitake Pie is our favorite! They didnt have dessert pretzels on the menu, but the cooks were able to make us something very similar anyways. It was great!

Had a bit of a wait on a lunch Carry out order....waited at bar for nearly 20 min for a slice and side salad combo...got order handed to me with out cutlery...peppers or other condiments or the salad. So had to wait another 5min or so. Basically spent more than half my lunch break waiting for food. Just to dig in and slice was cold and toppings just thrown on top of slice(ground beef) more in the box than onb the slice..😒 ...and no dressing for salad.
Yaco always makes me the best drinks and just makes the overall environment of the place just rad. Love when he’s working here. Really brightens up the place.
Food was good. The wait for take-out was 35 to 45 minutes. No designated place to sit and wait for take-out customers. I was approached by a member of their staff and asked to move from a table that I picked near the the take-out area after I became tired of standing and waiting.A bit of planning for busy times and accommodating of take-out customers would avoid hard feelings going forward.
You can never go wrong with pizza from Mellow Mushroom!

Terrible service. Asked for refill 4 times before I had to walk up and ask the cashier, which gave an attitude about it. Took an hour and 1/2 to get a burnt pizza that they offered to recook and send us to go with it. Service was terrible, would recommend Mellow Mushroom, just not this location.
Soooooo good! Staff was friendly and courteous. I walked in, placed an order and it was ready in 20 min. The food was incredible! Wings were awesome. Perfect for a rainy evening.
This is by far the best Mellow Mushroom in Atlanta and you wont be disappointed. From the oven hot pizza to the ice cold beer the team consistently delivers on quality and service. I highly recommend it.

Bad customer service. Stood at the door with my family to be seated, waited over 10 minutes while the girl in front of us was on the phone. She didnt even acknowledge us or look in our direction. Will never go back...
I am not fan of pizza or sandwich, but this place changed my opinion. Had Philosophers pizza, amazing one. Couldnt resist to take a bite from my friends sandwich, yeah yummy one, thats for next time. Just go n try 🙏

I really wish, you were able to order the lunch special online, that might fix the incorrect order that I received. I called two lunch orders in 15 mins before I came to pick it up but one of the orders was incorrect, staff offered to place order in but I had to go.My lunch time is very limited, therefore I wont be ordering from here again.

Mellow Mushroom has been one of my favorite pizza place since I was a kid in the 70s, there was a shop located in Sandy Springs. So happy to have a Mellow Mushroom so close at Windward Pkwy.
Fan of mellow mushroom. My 1st time at this location and it did not disappoint. The service was excellent as well as the food.
Great calzone, great beers (including many from Atlanta metro area) and great service (based upon Allyson). Cool funky decor that isnt too Disney, and great classic rock hits.
There pizza is ok.. not the best especially for how good mellow mushroom is at other location.. and certainly not good enough for horrible service.. was on hold for five minutes then rudely asked what I wanted... then when I got there they got order wrong and blamed me... Ill just go to Rays pizza instead ...
When not in Chicago and Im in the mood for some good pizza Mellow Mushroon it is. I tend to get the same thing and it is perfect each time. Not Chicago Pizza but very good nonetheless.
Great food, lots of flavor. Really cheap lunch menu options. Theyve changed up the style to be more like a restaurant than like a typical Mellow Mushroom.
Pizza are very good. Pretzels not so good (with butter and salt). Calzones surprisingly not good either. Go with their pizzas and youre eating well.

A whole lot of money for very little pizza which was comparable to a Digornio Pizza definite reccomend going elsewhere anywhere else is probably better they skimp on the cheese and toppings $52.00 for the quality of frozen pizza.

2022-06-10Arrived at 1:50 on a Friday afternoon. The place was empty. We were promptly seated and our order was taken. All was good to this point. This when it went downhill. The waitress did not put our food order into the system until over 10 minutes later. Other patrons that had arrived later than us and had their orders taken and drinks served before we even were served our drinks. The other patrons received their food orders long before we received ours. We were never offered drink refills until we had to leave to go back to work. What should have only been a 1/2 hour visit turned into nearly a 1 hour ordeal. So, bottom line, service was horrible. Fortunately the food was good which saved this review from being a 1 star rating.

2021-10-30This Mellow Mushroom has the best cheese bread for an appetizer - warm bread with soft melty cheese - yum! Both vegetarian pizzas and meat pizzas are perfectly cooked with delicious toppings. Even the salads are great here. Friendly servers, good beer selection. They have a large covered outdoor seating area. The only improvement would be more local beers on tap - how about Jekyll Brewing that is just a mile or so away? Great place, worth a stop!

2021-09-06Ordered online build your own pie. We ordered pepperoni on all spinach and pineapple on half. I also ordered a Greek salad with jerk chicken added to it. We went and picked up the order in the rain. Got home and we have a spinach and pineapple pizza no pepperoni. The salad is correct. We called restaurant and spoke to a female manager. She asked if we wanted to come back and pick it up? I said no, but you can deliver it. She said they dont deliver. She then said she could credit our card back for the pizza. Its 7 days later and weve yet to receive our refund.

2021-07-29After reading their reply from the manager of the store I decided to change my review to a lower review. First of all I wanted drinks sodas and carrier stuff should have been provided I was nice and giving it a four star with that type attitude they deserves two stars less. Listen to your customers please I will think again before I shop at mellow mushroom at that location.It was raining and almost closing time today it went in the order took a while cuz it wasnt ready it was after closing the problem I had was the drinks was handed to me and paper cups had to carry to the car they did offered character to the car when it was raining I did not ask that did ask for a way to carry them and carrying towed or some way I could care to the thing did not have anything like that I would recommend a future for to go orders either be bottle drinks or in totes or carriers that it could be taken easily to carrying a car if you have to stop or something you can lose your drink and mess your car interior up.

2020-08-29Slow. Slow. Slow. I love Mellow but man this location is always behind. I’m sitting here and counted 10 employees on the clock. Dining room is completely empty. My order is currently 20 min behind when they said and I’m still waiting. The employees are ordering food though (they have time for that) and two of them are just holding each other. I guess they are dating. 🤷🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️ lolMy one request was that they square cut the pizza. At least they got that... oh wait, no they screwed that up too.
