It’s our favorite family place for pizza!! Dave (Manager), Taylor, Ida, Kenneth and Amanda are the best team I’ve ever seen at a pizza place. They run this place like a well-oiled machine! We will keep coming back on a near-weekly basis!

One of the best mellow mushroom locations. The house special pizza is delicious, but get a smaller one than you usually do because its very filling.
They should rename it to “slow and mellow”. Holy hell. Slowest pizza of my adult life. Slow and expensive.

My wife and I tried the margaritas. Excellent! And, their pizzas and salads continue to be delicious. The staff are like old friends.
We were disappointed with our Holy Shitake Pizza because it wasnt nearly as good as what weve gotten from other Mellow Mushrooms. I called in the order to pickup and when I arrived the salad and meatballs were ready, but the pizza hadnt even been made yet. When I got the pizza, the meatballs were cold and salad was warm. Just not a good experience.

LOVE Mellow Mushroom Pizza. We had a date night on Friday, and that place was so busy! They had takeout orders stacked on the counter, stacked on tables, and people were streaming in! The servers were working their tails off that night! Our server was sweet and did her best to keep our soda refills coming and check on our food. We will be back for sure; maybe not on a busy Friday night though! 😉

Traveling from out of town, my family was looking for something quick to eat, late at night. So we saw Mellow Mushroom from the road and stopped in. At first we waited for a clean booth. Our waitress was really nice and on point. They ranned out of something we wanted, but her and the manager made sure all our needs were taken care of. Manager even came out and apologized. I gave them 4 put of 5 because they need to stay on top of cleaning.
I ordered and prepaid for a customized pizza with vegan cheese for someone who is allergic to dairy. They handed me a pizza with normal cheese and told me that I should have called it in if it was a food allergy and wanted me to pay for the correct order.I understand that food allergies can be complicated or frustrating for a busy restaurant. If thats their policy, fair enough. The least they could have done is mentioned it on their website.
Pizza was hot and ready like always. Great people and great food.
As per the norm the food and service were amazing. I absolutely love the white pizza and the tofu sandwiches. I would suggest you try the teriyaki tofu also.
Jessica was an amazing server. She was very pleasant as well as the rest of your staff. The hostess Ania was also amazing. She sat us fast and my husband is doing homework and she sat us where we were secluded. Great location.

Came here for dinner with a few friends not too long ago and we all had a wonderful experience. Very friendly and punctual service, plus the pizza and bruschetta are so delicious. I would recommend this location to anyone.

The food was great. But we were seated with 2 young children next to the door. Very cold. And service was very slow. People who were seated after us in more comfortable seating were served before us. Maybe a fluke so ill try again.
I came here today for a DoorDash order. At first, I was not greeted nor asked if Ive been helped. After standing there for a couple of minutes, finally someone asked if I needed help. I did the usual and was asked to wait because theyre still working on my order, which is totally understandable. After 20 minutes have past and as I watched probably 10 to 12 people come through to pick up their order, I asked the front person about the status of my order and he went back to ask the pizza making guys. And then Im assuming either he was the manager or the main pizza cooker, instead of apologizing, he just said they had missed my order and it would take 30 MINUTES to make it! To be fair, it doesnt take 30 minutes to make 2 pizzas and an order of wings. At best, 12 minutes. Ive worked at two pizzerias in the past and it only takes 6 minutes to bake a pizza and you can push two pizzas in that huge oven at the same time. I simply walked out because I cannot sit there and wait a whole hour when my livelihood depends on the income that I make via Door Dash. Time is money and apparently, that guy does not seem to care at all. I feel the most sorry for the person whom his pizza was delivered late because of your inefficiencies. Your customer service most definitely needs development and more training. So that maybe next time, you wont miss an order and if you do happen to miss one, you will actually go ahead and MAKE it YOUR PRIORITY to undo YOUR OWN WRONG!
Ordered Uber eats delivery early in the day like 3pm. While most other restaurants seal the boxes and bags, my pizzas were not sealed in the box so loose for Lord knows what goes on in the Uber drivers car. In the least they could use stickers to seal the pizza boxes and bag with salads shut. At this stage in the food game its cleaniness over taste. Wont be getting delivery from here again bc they are not doing all they can to ensure my food is delivered with the up most care.
The cook DID NOT wear gloves while preparing food. We were seated by the kitchen and watched her go back and forth texting, wiping sweat off her forehead and grab ingredients all without washing her hands. When we brought it our waitress’s attention she replied, “Well we put the pizza in a 500 degree oven so whatever is on the will be killed”. We couldn’t believe her response, especially since we are in the middle of a pandemic. The manager also stated that their policy DOES NOT require cooks to wear gloves and it was “our prerogative” that we didn’t want to eat the pizza. This place is BEYOND DISGUSTING! If you care about cleanliness please don’t eat here.
I love this place. So much in fact that I received my free lunch on my 10th visit today. Not only did they upgrade my salad, but I got TWO slices of pizza from Amanda who makes the best pizzas compared to any other Mellow mushroom locations. The servers are all super friendly. I always sit at the bar and probably talk their ears off, but they always have a smile. Can’t wait for my next visit! Thanks for the great service.
Very friendly staff. Nice ambiance. However we got a carryout and we expected so much more flavor from a $25 pizza. There was no sauce on the pizza and the thin crust was somehow soggy. The wings were pretty good. We could have saved money at Dominoes

Walked in waited to be seated. No one egknowledged me being there . after a few mins just sat down . still nothing. A few groups walked in . they helped them immediately. While still ignoring me. So sat a few mins more. Keep in mind they took the orders of the people who walked in way after i did .so i push table out of the way and left . mellow mushroom is not worth the effort and that little biy and girl just missed out on a $10 tip for juat a10 inch pizza and tea. Goes to show you dont being a little bitvh and judge your customers because they look like they been out in the sun all day working .ps your power bill about to go up .winkwink
Not only is the pizza amazing, but the manager is such a delightful person. I’m from NJ right outside NY so pizza is a big deal. This is by far the best pizza I have found. I almost prefer it to traditional NY pizza. Came here the other night with my boyfriend and the manager chatted with us a little and even gave us a free brownie b/c our wings came out a little late. It was so refreshing to chat with such a nice person. 1000% recommend!
Very disappointed I’ve been going to this mellow mushroom for over 10 years and I’ve never seen the quality be so poor. First of all do not do curbside because they don’t answer the phone. But my salad was terrible I’ve never seen lettuce that were already turning yellow in a salad before. The quality is really going down.
I love this place! I work across the street and come here to eat all the time! They have the most amazing pizza! You cant beat a huge pizza! Great deal! Delicious food! Nice staff too!
Whenever Im craving pizza, I visit this Mellow Mushroom!! The service is amazing and fast, everyone is super friendly, and the food is fantastic. The Kosmic Karma is SO delicious, I always order it! Not to mention the whole establishment is very clean and tidy. Love this place!

Ordered pizza from mellow mushroom website, the store sent the food with doordash, but does not provide me with a doordash order information. Doordash failed to deliver my order, now I’m stuck. The dasher said I wasted her “10 minutes for 6 dollars. Mellow Mushroom wasted me $50.76 and over 2 hours dealing with this issue and starving. Mellow mushroom never give me a doordash order number or receipt of any kind.
After being seated and sitting at the table for at least 10min I watched three separate tables be seated, have their order taken, and eat. And these were not just tables of 1 it was a group at each table. And my server was also the server for a least one or two of those tables. It took an hour for the pretzels bites to arrive, which is just the appetizer, but only after those three tables were paid up and out of there. I will never step foot in this location again. Not worth it.
Worst service ever. Can I give 0 stars. Ordered pizza bites as an appetizer. They told me they were coming after we got our pizzas. It was nice of them to tell me they were not going to charge me since they were never delivered... A whopping two straws for four people. Never asked how the food was or if we needed anything. I finally had to ask for a water after my beer had been gone for 15 minutes. Only saving grace, at least the pizza was good. I would go to any other Mellow Mushroom than this one.
My car broke down after a workout at the gym nearby so I decided to stop in a get some grub while I waited on the tow truck. The service and the food was absolutely fantastic! I got the holy shiitake pie & wings. Ive been other to mm locations but this one is special... best pie yet! My server Jamie was awesome. Even though the I came in 10 minutes before closing on a Friday night she still was happy to serve. I cant thank her enough. I even got a free beer out of it! Since my gym is in the same plaza I definitely will be coming back again...as soon a my car is back in the game thats is.
My son and I, which my son is autistic, stopped in to eat at Mellow Mushroom. we walked in and stood next to the sign that said, please wait to be seated. We waited for a long time, but no one spoke to us, welcomed us to the restaurant, or offered to seat us. It was almost as if we werent even there! A couple came in and stood behind us. The Waitresses immediately greeted them with smiles after ignoring us. And told them they could sit anywhere they would like. So as the couple was walking across the restaurant towards the bar I said very loudly so we can sit anywhere we would like? I got no response and none of the waiesses even looked at us. so me and my son walked over to a booth and we sat down. We were still ignored. one of the waitresses went over to take the couples order that came in after us. this place is not child-friendly especially if they have autism! I would give this place 0 Stars if there was a capability of doing that. They have lost me as a customer forever!
Okay just do yourself a favor and order the parm pretzels 🥨 (make sure to add a ton of extra Parmesan to them though 🥨🥨🥨) and the hot wings. BEST combo. Don’t even go in for the pizza. 😘😍🥰

After building an order in uber eats at a different Mellow Mushroom, only for them to quit accepting orders, I placed a simple takeout order at this location. One of the pies was overdone and they offered to start over. We denied and happily consumed the semi overcooked pizza at home. In the end, it could have been better, but it was still awesome. Mellow Mushroom offers a consistently unique and quality product every time.
Absolutely LOVEEEEE this place.. It is a STAPLE during my pregnancy! I visit at least once a week. The servers are super nice, patient, and attentive. I think Ida knows us by name now! There is an older gentleman who Im assuming is the owner, he is just as attentive, personable, and helpful. We love it here! Im scared to visit another location because I dont want it not to compare to this one in Johns Creek. Oh, most importantly the food is fresh, fast, and FABULOUS.. Im in loveeee with he thin crust pizzas and salad. The crust is thin but not too thin.. PERFECT 👌🏾 Cant say enough. Keep it up guys! See you soon! 😏😏😂😂

This place is awesome! The staff truly cares about customers and my pizza always comes out perfectly. You have to try their chocolate chip cookies. They’re unbelievable!

We went in on a rainy Saturday with a group of 14. Though surprised at first by the number in our party, they did an excellent job with seating and service! Plus the pizzas were delicious.
Great pizza.Envirinment is friendly, laid back and very clean. Pizza always tasty. Staff is great. Owner is a personable and gregarious. You can tell he cares about his restaurant and patrons. Zonia is the real gem. Always has a smile and is ready to help. Stop by and grab a pie or slice.
I sat by the window and there is food crumbs and dead flies in the ledge. A patron sat on the patio with a puppy and two waitress came out to pet the puppy and neither washed their hands upon entering the dining area. The puppy was adorable though.I came in with my grandchild, ordered a small cheese pizza and it was ok

First time they added cheese when we asked no cheese because a child has a dairy allergy. Today we had a 4:45 online pick up and had to wait until 5:10. Won’t be back.
Service sucks. I also ask for a white Russian. No one knew how to make a basic white Russian wow. I know how but Im not going to do it for them and tip them to. Customer service today has gone in the toilet. Manager on duty was also piss poor.had poor customer service skills this was today Thursday evening 6/7/2018. Im glad I dont own this place. Wow owner has a bar upfront but no one knows how to make a basic white Russian. Thats 101 stuff. Im not even giving a one star. Just keep driving by this place. Next..... dont waste your money or time here.
Nice location. Great ambiance. Courteous fast personalized attentive service. Collection of spirits. Liquors and beers. To top, awesome hearty delicious entrees, appetizers and deserts on menu. Always good experience.
Seemed too busy at first but had great and super friendly service and the pizza was awesome.
I came in to pick up lunch for me and my coworkers. The staff basically ignored me until an older lady asked to take my order after I had to finally ask for a menu. I went over my order with her three times. And still when it came out it was incorrect. The sandwich I ordered had none of the toppings correct once I got back to my job, so I called. They remade it correctly. I also noticed that no salad dressing was given for the salad so I pointed it out. She acted like I called her everything but a child of God. I will never order from here again.
Eh it was alright. The menu is alittle slim in my opinion and is overpriced. Our server was subpar at most. My young daughter and niece had to go to the bar for water and one other thing. The food was pleasant so that saved the day.
Ms. Sonja made my daughter feel right at home. She has that favorite aunt vibe about her. We cant forget the food was absolutely awesome coupled with great customer service, we will definitely be back.

LOL! This place is a mess. SO! We get there and are waiting to be seated, it is 4 of us and it is not busy. It takes them about 10mins to sit us after asking us about 5 times how many of us there was. We finally are seated, we obviously want beer because it pairs so well with pizza. Our server IDs my boyfriend and I (were 25). I physically hand her my ID and she looks at it, and says ok. She goes around the table, comes back and lets us know they ran out of Blue Moon BUT are putting in another KEG. OKAY! About 5 mins later, the ID police (aka a crusty cook) comes out and asks to see my ID again, again I physically hand this establishment my ID again. He says OKAY again. And tells me the server was worried it was fake because I look young. OKAY! Anyways, about 5 mins later the server comes back and tells us they RAN OUT OF BLUE MOON. Are you lying or is it my fake ID the DMV gave me? LOL. Im 100% annoyed with them by then and we order a Large Pepperoni pizza, a simple and easy order. Tell me why they bring us a MEDIUM pizza. LOL. We should have walked out then but I was so hungry. She said another server gave our pizza away and she brought us a medium and was going to bring us a small pizza as well to make-up for the mix-up. LMAO. So instead of just telling us hey someone took your pizza, were making you a new one they decide to bring us a small and a medium pizza. We tell her no, to keep the small as were only paying for the medium because Im absolutely done with this establishment. A man im assuming was their manager came to our table after and said he was going to take care of the bill. My friend ordered something that resembled bird food, so theres that. SO our bill comes and the manager said hes taking $5 off the bill and giving us our small pizza. (LMAO! I honestly almost fell on the floor laughing) My boyfriend said he is not paying for the piss poor service we received and the manager agreed and took back his bill and his small pizza. lol. The only reason theyre getting a 1-star is because he (the manager) agreed we shouldnt pay for trash service and a terrible experience.
Mellow Mushroom is a great pizza place that serves all the usual pizza fare. They make a spring water dough thats just excellent. Each location has a very 70s décor and has a fun night out vibe.At this location you order at the counter and they deliver to your table so its not a typical full service restaurant like the other locations.
Worst service ever. I actually felt insulted. I only went there because it was recommended to me. Well I was very disappointed and would never go back and I will not be making any recommendations. BTW the pizza wasnt that great either. Train your staff better please.

Mello Mushroom has great food, but the Johns Creek locations have a major customer service problem. I walked into the Johns Creek restaurant and walked to the bar and sat down to wait for service. After sitting there for 10 minutes, no one had even acknowledged that I was there. I looked around at everyone working and established eye contact, and no one said a word to me. I was so shocked. I then ask if they were opened and everyone looked at me in shock and they guy who may have been their supervisor said that they thought I was already being helped. This is very sad because there were more employees those customers in the store. (The guy at the bar, myself, the lady who picked up, and one guy sitting to my right).One young lady employee was standing at the other end of the counter flirting with a guy who was also sitting at the bar. Standing behind her was a guy who may have been her supervisor. The other lady was standing directly in front of me ringing up the lady who walked in the store right before me. And there was a cook looking at me and another girl in back in shorts who may have just been getting off.They need lessons in basic customer service:1.They should greet customers who enter the store2.Acknowledge customers to make sure they have been helped.3.Apologize for the delay and let the customer know that you will be right with them.This store is down the street from my home and I have ordered food from them for the past few years. And spent lots of money and always left large tips. I was so hurt by this, I now drive to the other side of town to order from the Alpharetta Windward parkway Mellow Mushroom were the customer service is awesome.
Great pizza, but this location isnt geared towards waiter/waitress service. Theres a counter to make your order and a soda fountain at the front for your drinks; the only thing thats brought out to you is your food.
The food and people are always amazing here. Taylor and Ida always take great care of me and the food is always top notch. Dave has a great team here and Ill be back frequently.

Despite walking in at closing time, the Manager allowed to place an order for pizza and a sub. The pizza was great, but my Italian Sub was the bomb! Thanks Everyone!!!
Its decent..A bit noisy due to the loud music..We chose to sit outside because wed be yelling at each other over the loud music..If youre into that sort of thing .great..If not.. You might want to sit outside.. With the flies and skeeters..Good Menu, the pizza isnt greasy like other places, but lacks.. thats to be expected with a franchised restaurant..friendly staff.. theyre very accommodating..

Over the past 4 years, I have never had a meal short of excellence. I always request Ida as our server and she always does an excellent job.

Terrible service. I only gave a star because you cannot give less. Management came out to the table at 715pm and told us we lied about arriving at 559pm and told us we had arrived at 627 as if that was acceptable and told us to wait an additional 30 minutes.
They make good pizza, but I still think they are overpriced. I only eat here maybe once a month. I cant afford any more visits than that.

Food and service are good but dissapointed that there is not a changing station in the either of the bathrooms. My wife and i had to change our son on a bench outside.

A few of us (3) went out for pizza and beer...well we ordered a large pizza with 2 different varieties on it....well we were not pleased one tad...both flavors were very bland.

2022-02-24To make an interesting and long story short, we found our way to our Johns Creek Mello Mushroom today. We had a blast!! One of us - a literal world traveler - was visiting from California, and the other two of us are from here, but neither had ever been to a Mellow Shroom. It was a fantastic experience!! Hannah was an extremely kind, patient, and helpful hostess; and the owner was very warm and genuinely friendly!! Trust us - the appetizers were as delicious as the pizza and calzones; we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves!!!

2022-06-14We came here for the first time this week, and what a treasure! We dont usually eat pizza out, instead preferring to take it to go - but this place is amazing! Its got that casual, but very friendly - regulars come eat here vibe - where you can see families coming after weekend pool days, and moms getting takeout pizza after tennis lessons. We ordered a number of things, and I was pleasantly surprised at how delicious and soft the bread base/crust was!! Great pizza, friendly service. Will be coming again.

Everyone is super nice, Mrs. Aida is the BEST!!!! We love her!! She makes us feel at home. 2022-03-14Ive eaten at MMs all over the southeast traveling to sporting events with my boys, and my home MM in Johns Creek, is simply the best. Great service, friendly staff and mgt (Dave), who always make my experience excellent. And of course, the best pizza anywhere...by far.

2018-12-08Thank you MARIE for the bright and warm welcome into the restaurant. The food was delicious. The decor was eye catching, fresh and sleek. A clean restaurant and restroom with nice and friendly employees. We really enjoyed the art work and of course the food! We had the jerk chicken wings, plain wings and the classic pepperoni pizza.

2020-08-22I went into this pizza parlor for the first time today around 7:00. A very friendly blond girl took my order and I ordered a spicy chicken pizza for my wife and I and a cheese pizza for our daughter. She said it would be about 45 minutes. I thought that seemed a little long but, I was already here so I ordered a beer to pass the time. After I finished my beer, I asked another girl for an update and she said it would be just a few more minutes. Finally the manager brought me my pizzas and apologized for the wait. I told him it wasnt a problem but, my daughter was hungry. He asked me if she was allowed to have cookies and then gave me one. My daughter was very happy with this and the pizzas were very good. Ill definitely be back.
