When I walked in, the staff literally sang me happy birthday. Didn’t even call ahead. I have no idea how they did it but needless to say I was impressed. My hat and coat were immediately whisked away by another employee to a coat rack, whilst another lit my cigar. Also, name is accurate— there are literally mellow mushrooms everywhere. My server, Lillian, was on top of my table constantly, service was fast, and the pizza was bussin. 10/10.
We had a large party. We confirmed twice. On the day we planned, when we called again,the response was confusion and they inferred that what we had discussed was not protocol. It was a big glitch but it did work out. Staff service was good and food was just as expected. Knowing how hard things have been for restaurants. we give MM a 4.
The preschool my child attends does monthly “pizza days” and orders from this location. They are extremely helpful and accommodating- not to mention, the kids get so excited for a yummy lunch. Definitely recommend!
So yesterday I ordered my all time favorites online with mellow mushroom. Paid 80 bucks or so. Food never came. Spoke to someone pertaining to the order and was informed that even though I placed the order from the website, third parties e.g Doordash or Uber eats , are usually the companies that receives the order.Long story short. Upon speaking with a door dash representative explaining what occurred, I was able to get a refund. The general manager Matt gave me a call and apologized for the inconvenience, which I do know it wasnt the restaurants fault. He was very pleasant and he handled the issue promptly.Thanks so much Matt for reaching out to me and making my day better 😀 😊This issue was resolved very quickly.
Mellow Mushrooms are usually a good barometer of the neighborhood - this one felt welcoming and nice. Pizza was great, dough was nice (pizza and pretzel bites) and the food was out quickly.
Experience was as for dine in was horrible. But as I looked around the same customer service wasnt given to others. My order was taken correctly, my first drink was disgusting, the replacement drink was given to me with a long string of blonde hair in it. I had to sit, stand, and sit waiting for more than 5 minutes before someone acknowledged that I needed assistance. Couldnt find the guy that had waited on us the first time he was nowhere to be found. So the lady who showed us to our seat finally looked up at me after she finished spraying and wiping off things around the restaurant. She came over I showed her my drink and told her I was trying to add to my order but the guy never came back to the table. Soo she put my order in and after grabbing about 3 cups that was apparently unclean but with the clean cups that they were using for the customers drinks. She finally found one that was clean enough and fixed me another drink. Now, the food comes out. For some reason we recieved our pizzas wayyyyyy before our FORGOTTEN APPETIZERS. Upon on ordering I was very specific about what I wanted BUT instead I got what he interpret. So the guy whom took our 1st initial order brought the pizza to the table and disappeared again. After about 5 minutes of him not returning which I thought he was going to get our appetizers which ONLY some bread knots. Nope, I had to get up to over to the guy standing at the cash register and tell him about the appetizers I never gotten. Out of nowhere the guy#1 appears and guy #2 ask him about the appetizers and find out he never put the order in. Once they were done he brought those then asked if I was waiting on wings I said yeah.Soo yeah it wasnt great.
Have gone in twice recently and got Lillian as my server, both times service was great food was great. Definitely coming back because of the superb experience Lillian gave us.
My s3rver Johnathan was excellent the park was alil rough but manageable .. my problem is with thepizza was bland the ranch bland sause bland the bread no lie was amazing . Im upset cuz the ruin the bread. N how u got dominoes making better chicken... No flavor yea the bread imo was the best this about meal. Also whats up with the cheese strips on my salad. Maybe of it was fresh ..ridiculous
If youre a pizza connoiseur this is the only place you want to go in the entire world, and Im not joking! The pies here are truly amazing and works of art. I believe this location is the best out of the entire franchised operation. The staff and the management are excellent and super courteous. They always make me feel like a rock star each time Im in town to visit. I highly recommend the mighty meatza pizza as its got every meat known to man on the pie and be sure to get a large as you want some for late night munchies, trust me!! They have a beautiful heated and covered outdoor patio that sits right on the strip of Roswell road so you can watch all of the action especially if you been quarantined because of the pandemic. They have beautiful metal sculptures that are truly amazing to look at. Mellow mushroom is great for the entire family, date night, girls night out, best buddies, large groups or just for an overall kickass time this is the place to go for pizza and beer! When here in Atlanta or you live in Atlanta do not miss mellow mushroom Sandy Springs!
Excellent location by all there is to see in commercial Sandy Springs. Fun and inviting atmosphere. Great for a quick lunch or casual dinner. All the staff was cordial and friendly. We visited during rush hour, they were busy and missed a few things but quickly made up. Fantastic attitude and good food $$
Great Perimeter/Sandy Springs hang out with fresh ingredients and friendly staff. Ive tried the gamut...wings, House Special, and the Mighty Meaty pizza...but also like the salads with tofu/tempe, spinach. Portabello is cool but get vinaigrete on the side. Ask for thin crust to avoid carbs but pizza is thin and crusty. We love this place. Enjoy the fun positive energy.
Update to my initial review below, we held the lacrosse banquet again this year, more people than last year & once again the staff of MM was fantastic and thanks to them and the super food, we all had a had a fun night.I reached out to mellow mushroom at the last minute in hopes they could host a lacrosse banquet. Matt and his team came through with flying colors. He was able to call in extra staff to serve a great spread of pizza, salad and wings for 80 people. His staff were attentive, friendly and kept the food and drink coming for 2 hours. Thank you so much mellow mushroom. You have a customer for life.
Yum! First the service here was superb, our server was friendly and very efficient. Second, the pizza 🍕 was EPIC! I guess location really does matter as the pizza here was heaps better than the other location we went to. We sat in the outside patio and I loved the outdoors decorations. Ill definitely be going back. Also, the pops were loved by all.
I love their Pacific Rim pizza! It has ham, pineapple, bacon, jalapenos and caramelized onions. This is a picture of it. Kind of pricey but delicious. I dont feel like a fat P.O.S. after eating this pizza like I do with some greasier pizzas. Highly recommended.
Food is always delicious. Indoor/outdoor dining. Waitress kinda sucks, her attitude was fairly nasty. Parking is ok. There is wheelchair access and limited bar. Everyone seems to be enjoying themselves. Not all of the waitresses and waiters are nasty, just the one I got
Matt and the staff at the Sandy Springs location are AWESOME! Good people, good location, good food! And good beer selection!! Relaxed atmosphere, great patio, family-friendly and plenty of parking. A+ in my book!! Highly recommended!!
Came in to place an order to go and grabbed a couple drinks at the bar. Britney and Darian where fun and attentive. The pizza came out quick for a Friday night and great as always.
We came on a super-busy 4th of July evening when they were short-staffed. Their management and servers are second-to-none. They still took care of us like we were the only ones there. The food was excellent. They adapted to the challenge and took care of their customers.
Ive been enjoying Mellow Mushrooms pizza for 30+ years and it never disappoints! I was there the other day and had great service from our waitress Lillie!
Amazing experience!! After a hard day, the team here turned our frown upside down. Bella, our server, took great care of us and Matt the manager showed us that despite the hardships restaurants are facing right now, excellent customer service is not dead. I cant recommend this place highly enough!
This Mellow Mushroom is nothing short of superb. The manager is just the finest kind of person. My daughter and I ate here this afternoon and our server was Rebecca. She was so friendly and attentive.

I had a great lunch at Mellow Mushroom yesterday the 9th. Zach and Brooke were wonderful and attentive. My food came out with Perfect timing, Greek salad with plenty of time to enjoy before the hot right out of the oven great white slice came out. I had an Amazing time and will be back very soon!
This is my favorite location. I always look forward to the experience every time I am in town. The staff is fabulous and the manager is always so friendly and remembers me!!! 5 stars
The pizza and food quality are consistently good, but the staff from the manager on down are unhelpful and have an i-could-care-less attitude.

Walking in expecting good food. Sorry, but that was the opposite of what we received. Drinks were flat, pizza was over cooked and service was slow not to mention feeling a bit sick afterwards. We may have visited on an off day...but we just didnt enjoy our visit.
It was the most frustrating and unorganized catering event Ive ever set up, and it was only for 10 people! Trying to get an answer from anyone at this store was impossible which resulted in part of our order being wrong, and not having plates or napkins after they told me theyd provide those. And the cookies we ordered for dessert were all rock hard and completely burnt. Save yourself the headache and go somewhere else the next time you need a delivery.
Their hoagies are the bomb dot com do you hear me? I like the avocado hoagie but vegetarian, and the way they season it is just muah.
We had a wonderful experience at this location! We held a high school lacrosse banquet here, and the service was great! With short notice, the manager, Matt, was able to reserve the whole patio for us. We also had two servers that were designated for our event only. Our large food order came out correct, timely, and it was delicious! It was the perfect space for our event!
This place is fine, but you may want to consider not ordering to go. Ive ordered to go on three occasions and each time theyve not even started the pizza until I arrived. Very slow. Tonight they quoted a 40 minutes. I arrived 45 minutes after order and at this point have waited 22 minutes in the restaurant and they still havent brought me my pizza.
Fabulous staff, especially Darian and Megan. As always wonderful food and booze. MellowMushroom is a force to be reckoned with. When you travel to the good ole ATL you must visit a Mellow!

The food was made very sloppy. I ordered a veggie pizza with vegan cheese. The cheese was basically slapped on the pizza and it kept sliding off the actual pizza. The barbecue wings was cooked fully but they drizzled some cold bbq sauce on it. Didn’t even bother to toss it. My server was also passive aggressive. She didn’t really pay me any mind and attended to her other guests. I visited another mellow mushroom yesterday in Vinings, GA and they were much more nicer there and the food was a lot better. Can definitely tell the difference. Won’t be coming back to this location
LOVE this Mellow Mushroom. Amazing food and service. Best pizza I’ve ever had. The kids would say it’s bussin. Foaming at the mouth thinking about it right now. Going back ASAP!!
Went in and was served by Lillian, she took care of my friends and I amazingly. Was super attentive and really sweet. Food was great, service was better, definitely recommend.
I love the Great White pizza. The only reason I did not give a 5 is that the way the pizza is made seems to be dependent upon who is in the kitchen on the day I order the pizza. It is not always made the same way. But, irregardless of that fact, it always tastes good.

Had lunch there today for the 1st time. Absolutely yummy. The pizza, calzone & salads were delicious! Would highly recommend this place. Service was great & very friendly. There were 11 of us & not one complaint to be had.
We sat for a couple of minutes and Matt the manager noticed us. He came over and got us drinks before the server came and offered to buy us an appetizer. We ordered the avacado smash which was awesome . He brought it to us personally . Kim was our server and was great . We will be back for this kind of attention .
I grew up with a mellow mushroom close to my house and have always been an advocate. I recently have been a frequent at the Sandy springs location. Enjoying the food and the 3$ beer specials. A lot of times sitting at the bar to watch football. I was told on one of my first visits that they could not play the football game sound over the loud speaker because they were not considered a sports bar. Having had experience in the restaurant/bar industry I knew this was baloney but ignored it and went along with the notion all the same. However I just showed up pick some pizzas to bring home and upon arriving I could hear the Sunday NFL football game sound being broadcasted across the entire sound system. Inside and out. Due to lack of honesty and downright idiocracy I will promote people to go elsewhere as well as never contribute to this location again.
Picked up a carryout pie - on time service, excellent food and very friendly people. We do miss Tuesday Trivia. Have had to go to MM Dunwoody (gasp!) to play, but theyre not in the same league as yours.

Unfortunately a very unpleasant experience at this location.Brittany the bartender was great. She got my drink as soon as she saw me. Matt the manager, on the other hand, neglected to see a new customer and ignored my presence. Instead he continued to have an inappropriate conversation with a prior employee right next to me.The hostess was also great, although cannot recall her name.

The pizza was very delicious. The online order system makes no sense. First, they could not find my order on their computer. Then she tells me when you place an order online for a pick up time selected, they don’t start preparing till closer to pick up time. So I waited another 25 min.What’s the point of selecting a pick up time, arriving at said pick up time and then having to wait for 25 minutes.The Pizza itself was delicious. I like that you can customize your pizza.
We had a late lunch on a Sunday afternoon with a few kids. Very few people in the place but it took almost two hours from start to finish - which isn’t really ever fun but especially not with 4 kids in tow. Multiple issues including losing a ticket (only figured it out once we reported that a few kids got their meal but another did not) that made it so all the kids didn’t have their meal for more than hour.Then, the two medium pizzas were delayed because they made the wrong item and size so received two smalls and a medium instead.Service was mediocre with almost no check ins over the course of the two hours - had to walk up to the front to get a box and pay because the waitress did not come over in 30 minutes.In addition the restaurant was very hot (didn’t feel like any air was running) and the staff spent most of the time talking to each other or watching sports on the tv. Disappointed as it was very different the last time we were here.
Theres something for everyone! Loved the food, service was great. We sat outside, it was nice. My only negative was that you may get a loud car coming down the street. Of course thats not the restaurant fault but just a heads up. Highly recommend it here.
This place had awesome customer service and a nice outdoor dining space. The pizza was delicious, but I was really hungry. Bathrooms were clean. Good family restaurant.
This mellow mushroom has always been one of my faves. Used to eat inside all the time and the service was great. I get curbside now and the curbside service is no different, always friendly, always wearing a mask and pretty fast even if you order on the spot but I recommend ordering online and doing pickup so you dont have to wait. The pizza and food is always great too.
Awesome food and very accommodating with our larger table. Came and informed us that if we ordered gluten free (which we had) that it would take longer only so the cook could go and sanitize all gluten from his person before making the gluten free food. Would always recommend this place.
Worst experience ive had in a restaurant. Our waitress seemed bothered by us being there and was talking with the other staff in the kitchen more than she was interacting with us, then i had a LITERAL ROACH crawl out from under my table 🤢 when i approached the wait staff about it, they gave me the excuse of “they come in off the patio all the time, it happens in cheesecake factory too”, food was subpar, would not go back
It was ok. I pulled up and called them per instructions and the lady told me that I would have to come to pick up my food. Then they left off something in my order. That added time to my wait. They were nice though.
We ordered takeout on NYE and received a burnt pizza and 2 salads made with powdered cheese instead of real parmesan.
Meatball sandwich was delicious. Would have been better with the banana peppers I paid extra for and the bbq chips it supposedly came with. 25% tip given for that. :(
Ive visited this location quite a few times. I work close by. It has become a fairly regular place for my friend and I to go on Friday nights after work. The food is always excellent, and the servers are friendly. My favorite pizza is the Thai Dye. Ive been to several different Mellow Mushroom restaurants, and none of them have been super fast. This one is no exception. I guess it takes a while to assemble and bake each pizza. It is worth the wait. Were usually not in a big hurry when we come here anyway. Just have a nice ipa, and relax.
I placed an order. It was initially supposed to be completed at 7:00, then the time changed to 7:15. I called and spoke to someone who identified himself as the Manager and he said it won’t be ready until 8:07. I stated that wasn’t acceptable and he HUNG UP ON ME. I called back 2 more times and he hung up each time . What a terrible way to treat your PAYING Customers! Worst Customer Service Experience EVER! I will NEVER eat at this Mellow Mushroom again. I would give it ZERO stars if I could!
I love this place. The pizza is fantastic, the salad bowls are interesting and well thought out. (Youll see when you order one.) The shirts are hilarious. The staff is friendly, and the prices are as expected. Youre going to enjoy the entire experience being here, and youll leave full. What more could you want?

Good pizza and great salads, with lots of wine and beer selections. The staff is usually very attentive, and a manager will stop by to say hi. Trivia is fun, and the host and the music selections are good. We didn’t do so good (first time) but the questions were fun.
Vegan cheese and vegan options all over, best pizzas, calzones, mushroom soup, and drinks. Servers are always super nice. Thank you Brianna for your awesome service

Pizza was awesome and the service excellent.
Three times in a row, no ricotta in the calzone. I even called this time, instead of ordering online, and asked them to be sure to include it. If there was any ricotta in it, it couldnt have been more than a slight smear on the crust. Other locations dont have this issue. The cook here doesnt know what theyre doing, and I wont be eating at this location again

On Sunday afternoon my friend and I were visiting our Daughter and her family in Sandy Springs. When it came time for dinner our four year old Granddaughter wanted pizza. Unfortunately she was a little under the weather and not feeling that great so we decided it would be better to eat at home. We called and ordered take-out from Mellow Mushroom. Twenty minutes later the order was delivered to our house. Our meals consisted of Wings, Cheese pizza, Meatball Sub and a Steak & Cheese Hoagie. Food was delivered hot and delicious. We love their pizza!
This location is perfectly suited for a work lunch, or dropping in with a family. The kids always find something on the menu that speaks to them!They have a great lunch menu with $6.99 pizza slice, salad and a drink that most of the table really enjoyed - And the slices were really large. The service was really good, even though they had several people in the restaurant working but it appeared that our waitress was hustling to do most of the work.Id suggest giving it a whirl!
I called in my order for curbside pick up. When I arrived the system was down for cards and they wouldn’t give me my food until the system came back up. The guy who came out to was nice enough but I sat there for almost 25 minutes before finally driving off and never received my food. They didn’t offer to comp the meal for the inconvenience. Just offered a drink. Which they also got wrong. My daughter asked for a sprite and they gave her a lemonade. Would not recommend this location.
Mellow Mushroom is always a delicious and unique experience. Their dough and toppings are fresh and unlike many other pizza recipes. Its hard to eat just 1 slice!🍕🍕

I love this place. Their pies are outstanding, and theyre nice enough to let you come in and sit down a few minutes before they technically open. I want to give them 5 stars, but their pizzas are so expensive. So. Freaking. Expensive. Unless youre getting bougie toppings like caviar or truffles, theres no reason for a pizza to approach the $50 mark.
Always good. Love the medium pepperoni, extra thin, extra crispy, like a Frisbee. Cook the pepperoni on the grill then add to pizza in oven. With my side drink of a mule and my wifes cranberry juice. The wait staff is excellent and accommodating. Thumbs 👍
Good pizza and atmosphere on game day
I ordered oven roasted wings and the majority of the wings were hard, as if they’d been fried too long. I was unable to eat 3 of them due to this. The ladies at the front weren’t too friendly either, they did not make me feel like they wanted my business. After paying instead of handing me my card and receipt she put it on the counter and walked away without even advising to sign. Not sure if the day shift is better, although there should be no difference, but the night crew left a horrible taste in my mouth literally. My first time at Mellow Mushroom has become my last.
The staff and management couldnt be better. We fed 100+ people in under an hour. Organized and professional service and the food was delicious. If you are planning a group event, this is the place to go. Matt Brooks, the manager, knows exactly what he is doing! Great food! Great service!
Pros: amazing pizza! They have something for everyone like myself who has a dairy allergy. I cant get pizza anywhere else so thumbs up for that!Cons:very slow service. I came on 4/4 at 5pm. It was not busy at all. She checked on us once. Never asked if we wanted dessert, she honestly just disappeared. My husband had to get up to ask for the check and a box. That is unacceptable! I would mention her name but i would hate for her to lose her job but she does need to do better!
Have been here several times, and my rating is based on the experience across all of those visits. Good pizza and beer, friendly service, and you dont have to wait long or pay too much. Yesterday it was cold in the restaurant when I was there at mid-day. I was told it was because the pizza ovens had made it too hot so they turned the heat down. That may have been great for the workers in the kitchen but it was unpleasant for the customers. We stayed only because the person who waited on us was nice. The store did lose the beverage sales which was a significant percentage of what the bill might have been, because it was simply too cold to enjoy a cold drink. Hope that changes.

Firstly, I love the decorations! They have the coolest looking mushroom light fixtures. They have a bunch of human sized mushroom paraphernalia. Its a very laid back vibe. T-shirt and jeans. This location seemed to be more family friendly. Most of the people I saw were families, actually. Its a great place to just hang out with friends and grab a bite to eat. The staff is nice and attentive. Our orders were taken pretty fast. The food took a little time but thats to be expected at a specailty pizza place. The pizza is absolutely delicious, oily... but delicious! The dough and crust were great.
Quality of food always consistently good, excellent pizza and sammies. BUT food wait time is always painfully slow, even when not busy. Slow lunches not good for working people. Seems to have high staff turn over. Saw paper to-go menus dropped on dirty floor then picked up and put back on the stack. Sketchy cleanliness vibe. Did I say the pizza is excellent?
Great Pizza! Great Resturant. This is one of my favorite Mellow Mushroom locations. I ordered the gluten free pizza. First of all, it was nice to see that I even had that choice. I was not expecting it to be so good. I rarely order the gluten free choices at most restaurants as they usually disappoint... not here. Wow what a great crust. It is delicious. They also offer vegan and veggie options so it’s easy to find something for everybody’s needs. Was not expecting the variety.
We have been to 3 different Mello Mushrooms and they have all been great! The menu items are moderately priced. They are very accommodating to any special requests we have like adding pepperoni to the cheese calzone or adding chicken to the white pizza (not limited to just plain chicken either, but a number of different flavors). Each location has it’s own eclectic hippy vibe. Trusty joint for a good meal!
10 stars for Amanda and Matt at Mellow Mushroom in Sandy Springs! I mean, its Mellow Mushroom, so of course the pizza was delicious, but the service stole the show tonight. Amanda was so much fun, and she didnt bat an eye at any of my high maintenance requests! We had a great time and a great meal, and look forward to our next visit. Thanks, guys!
Service was exceptional even though we got there just before dinner rush. Grace did a great job. She also ran our leftover pizza out to us in the parking lot when we left it on the table. I had Maui waui which is for next level taste buds only. This is not at all mellow mushrooms but it is here. It was a perfect explosion of tangy sweet heat. My wife and her mom had regular ingredients on their pizza (blah blah blah) which they loved as well. The food here is pretty good. I ordered a Mighty Meaty pizza for my cousins and me, and we believed it was delicious. The service was pleasant and the server Brittany was delightful. I intend to return and bring more friends!
Mellow will always be one of the greats! Some may argue that other places serve a more accurate NY style pizza, but Mellow has its own style and taste that has never been matched. The crust is out of this world.This location has a nice outdoor patio which grants a relaxing, cool atmosphere in spring and summer evenings.
Alex, the bar manager was so kind to listen to me about how long I have been a regular at mellow mushroom.That being said, I noticed our small pizzas did not look as they typically do. After approaching Alex at the bar with this matter, he was kind enough to explain what the issue was!!His honest, straightforward answer about the issue was above and beyond. He offered to go ahead to make us a large half-half pizza to rectify the issue. Also, he gave my friend a beer and me, a coke to go and boldly said, Its on me. Wow.P.S. Pizza was bomb.
The food was good although the ribeye on one of the sandwiches was overcooked when specifically asked for it not to be, and the food was plentiful. Service was okay. Only had one large table so our group had to sit at a smaller table with one of us out in the aisle. Very awkward. Female restroom hand towel dispenser was coming off the wall.
Vegan gluten free pizza was unexpectedly lovely. Service was great! Heres a little kid heavy after 6 on Friday not a lot of room to walk unimpeded at that point.
Just had an amazing dining experience here. With a party size of ten we were anxious going to a restuarant because we were afraid it would take forever and we were on a time crunch. The restaurant was so accommodating! We called ahead and told them we were coming and they were super friendly! They greeted us at the door fully prepared for our party, service was quick and absolutely friendly!!! The staff truly made it a great experience and the food was AWESOME!!!!
Terrible service. Went on Friday night a little after the dinner rush Took a long time to be greeted, have drinks brought. Were seated for almost an hour before our food finally came. Didnt get offered refills on drinks until we were completely done with our food. The Tye Dye pizza was amazing, the other 2 we tried were just okay. Im pretty sure they failed to include the sauce on one of them. Dough was bland, thick and chewy. Overpriced. Tried the wings- had barely any meat on them, but the jerk seasoning was very unique and interesting. The girl who delivered the wings was not our server and got us extra ranch that we didnt ask for, then we were charged for the extra. Wow.
There are A LOT of pizza places on Roswell Road, around where these guys are. However Mellow Mushroom seems to have found a niche for itself, despite its higher than normal prices. This is not a place to find cheap pizza cheaply. Their dough is definitely unique, with a whole wheat flavor and a very slight touch of sweetness. It sounds weird, I know, but its actually pretty good. I tried a Hawaiian pizza there, and found the ham to be almost something youd get at a deli counter - thinly sliced, lean, fresh, and definitely not frozen or out of a can. They also have a nice covered patio to enjoy an evening.
Great Pizza with friendly service! We had a large group and everybody ordered their own seperate pizzas. Our order was served promptly. It was steaming hot and everybodys order was correct. I will be back.
Always a pleasure eating Mellow Mushrooms Pizza. They dont have these in the North where Im from, so I fell in love with them fast. I honestly think they are one of the best quality chain pizzas in the Metro Atlanta area
Mellow mushroom is always a great choice for pizza (if not the best choice). Plenty of options, including GF and vegan. And an excellent atmosphere with equally great service. Ive never been disappointed with a trip to MM.A big thanks to Gabby for the friendly attitude and helpful service.
The atmosphere was good. The restaurant was clean. The menu options are phenomenal. We usually enjoy Mellow Mushroom. However on this particular visit the bottom of our pretzel appetizer was burnt weve shared a calzone the bottom was burnt. Even with it being burnt the food was still very tasty I just cut off the burnt parts. The server came to the table several times and filled the drinks of other people in our party who were drinking soda , however my unsweet tea was not refilled for nearly 40 minutes. Near the end of the meal we found that most of the staff was playing Pokemon go.
LOVE...LOVE...LOVE this place!! its like a diamond in the rock on Roswell Rd. The atmosphere is calm and relaxing. The staff, super friendly, fast service, and they cater to your every need. The food is worth every penny. If a restaurants bathroom is clean that says a lot about the cleanliness of the place. This location is on top of things. Keep up the good work please. :)
I cannot rave enough about this place! My son has anaphylactic food allergies and we NEVER go out to eat....except for the Sandy Springs Mellow Mushroom every Saturday! We trust them 100%-- they take food allergies very seriously and always provide my son with a safe meal! Their service is always top notch! They even helped us with an event to support research for my sons rare disease, and they went above and beyond. Thank you to Matt and the entire MM staff!
Came here for lunch with my sister and her 5yo daughter. We wanted to sit outside but it ended up too cold so we moved inside. As we had been outside for a few minutes and still had not be greeted. Once inside we were served. It was the minimum amount of service nothing was lacking nothing went above and beyond. I think the staff was busy only saw 2 or 3 persons working. Wasnt busy but it wasnt empty either. The food was amazing and the place was clean. Will be back
Although the kitchen got backed up (broken oven) and our food took awhile, our lovely server and the manager on duty were very honest and apologetic about the situation. Their customer service was superb. The circumstance was out of their control but they handled it so gracefully. Thank you all!
My first time eating here; everything was great! We customized our own calzone and it was fresh! We noticed the menu is lighter in Texas. Variety A+. Atlanta can teach Houston some Southern hospitality!
My friends and I came in for a quick bite. We sat outside on the covered patio and ordered a bowl of some tasty mushroom soup to start and the signature medium Maui Wowie pizza. A nice combination of pineapple, banana peppers, jerk chicken and mozzarella cheese!! This pizza was super fire and I will def be coming back for more the unique combinations of toppings. Our server was very friendly and patient. The bathrooms were very clean and the mushroom wizard greeting is inside the door was a nice touch of chill. Ill be back with the kids next time!
Probably the best pizza crust I have ever tasted. Our server was friendly and kept our sodas, etc full. Food took a reasonable time to come out (about 20-25 minutes). Prices are reasonable.

Me and my friend went there last night. Right when we walked in the door we was greeted and asked if this will be dinning in, we said yes as another guy walked up saying it will be a 15 min wait. Being a friday night we was expecting a possible wait. We said that fine then the guy went on that this is just a wait for a table, that the kitchen was backed up and will be a longer wait, We got a vibe that we was unwanted there and was being pushed back out the door. Very rude and disrespectful. We ended up driving 15 mins to another mellow. We will not be back at this location.
Terrible service. Had 9 people in our group... Arrived right at open on a Sunday. Took our order and then proceeded to bring out half of the entire tables entrees. We ate while others were watching us eat for over 50 mins for the rest of the table to recive there food finally. They said they had 2 cooks call in, but nobody was called in to help. Other tables got their food while half of our table was waiting for their food. It was one of the worst experience weve ever seen. Sad excuse from a company thats supposed to be Professional.Our food was below par.. Messed up a cheese and steak sandwich and came back with a new one and they had raw mushrooms and peppers on it right on top.
Called in to see if it’d be alright to place an order a large pizza and a few other menu items for carry-out about 20 mins before close, the guy I spoke with was all about it. great attitude and customer service. again and again the Mushroom comes in clutch!

Mellow Mushroom has the best gluten-free pizza ever! The only other place Ive ever liked the GF pizza was in Rome, Italy, and its a lot less expensive to drive to Mellow Mushroom. The staff is super friendly, the atmosphere is clean and appealing, and the food is outstanding.
We just had a great family dinner at Mellow Mushroon. There was 5 of us: my in-laws, my 2 sons who are 4 & 6, and me. Emily was our server and Matt the manager. Matt was great with my boys... making them laugh & engaging. Emily was on point with her service. Greek salads and pizza never disappoint at Mellow Mushroom. We’ll be back!
Great experience here! The manager Matt noticed we were waiting a while without a server. He took it upon himself to quickly fix the situation and took great care of us! Dinner was great and service was awesome. Thanks Matt!

2022-05-25We absolutely love Mellow Mushroom and anytime we have an opportunity to visit one we do. This location did not disappoint!We were Seated quickly, the service was exceptional, Nicole was a wonderful waitress and the pizza was absolutely delicious! I got the Merry Prankster Pizza and it was AMAZINGLY GOOD! Next time we are back in the area, we will definitely return. I’ve been to this location a few times now, and felt it was finally time for a review!

2021-08-15Great place for some pizza. I had the Cesar salad, pretzel bites, and pizza. All of them was tasty. The service was friendly and attentive. The biggest gripe I had was the beer menu which was kind of lacking. Not many specials or variety from the draft. Highly recommend coming here to get food.

2022-02-24Just want to say me and my party of 14 had a great experience. As a restaurant manager Ive seen it all and Lillian handle the party perfectly. The food was hot and didnt take long. We ordered a few appetizers, the spinach dip was my favorite. Everyone had pizza, wings, my burger was delicious and juicy. My husbands California sub was good as well definitely add pickles to it if you like pickles. I had the strawberry lemon limeade and it was tasteful and tangy. The general manager Matt also checked on us and was very friendly. When the food started to arrive you can tell the staff helped bring it out Hot and ready so its always great to see teamwork. Ill definitely be back and I just wanna say Thank you for the great service. Taking care of big parties isnt always easy and the restaurant did a great job.

2022-02-26It was perfect!! The restaurant was not too crowded, it was immaculately clean, the service was wonderful, and all three pizzas we ordered came out perfectly cooked/exactly as we ordered. It was hands down the best pizza I have had in at least a year. My family has decided if we want pizza. . .its worth the drive to eat here.

2022-01-30It was cold and I was painfully hungry. All of the sudden, a light appeared. As I walked closer, I came into the view of a beautiful woman, who swept me into a near by restaurant. This restaurant. It was warm and smelled like cheese. I was sat down, and before I could order, a buffet of my favorite foods was on the table. This woman was perfection, and so was her service. Some would say she saved my life that night. I asked for her name, but she wouldn’t tell me. Not only is she the perfect server, but she’s so mellow about it. As I went to leave, I noticed a name on the receipt… Lillian. I now go to this mellow mushroom everyday, just to see her. She deserves a big, huge, ginormous raise in my personal, humble opinion. Thank you Lillian, I am forever indebted to you.

2021-12-10This is my favorite mellow mushroom location! my roommate and I come here all the time. The staff is very nice and attentive and the pizza is always good. I’m vegan and they are always very accommodating and make sure that my food is correct. The cocktails are great too :)

2022-03-15Great customer service, could not be happier! Had a catering order delivered for an office lunch. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate special dietary restrictions (vegan) as well as provide excellent service. Delivered on time and order was correct which is rare in todays delivery/takeout world!
