Huge Shout out to the entire team here!I met Thomas, David, Matt and Damian.They got a new battery put in [and didnt charge me anything to install it]Got my check engine light figured out in a timely manner.And they even got my exhaust welded for an affordable price.This is my first visit, but wont be my last!
Girlfriend went to get an oil change. Didnt inform her of the price. She left paying $112 for special oil (5w-40w) Can get 5Qs for $26 at autozone lol. And a filter change (normal in changes). Charged her $75 for the oil and another $40 for labor? Classic small shop taking advantage of people who dont know better. Called manager and they said that was Midas price for the special oil and that they dont inform customers of the price of their work unless they ask AKA - They are scammers.
The sheer excellence here is unmatched. I made the mistake of taking my car to MAVIS and they destroyed so much of my car. Thomas here at MIDAS however went above and beyond. After a nightmare journey however I am pleased to say my car is in tip top shape and runs like brand new. I highly recommend anyone who needs anything to come here. The service is truly unmatched.
My car died on me in the middle of a very busy Hwy. I was in tears when Thomas answered the call, but he quickly calmed me down and I knew I was in good hands. The repairs were done the same day and I couldn’t ask for more. He and the mechanic (sorry I forgot his name…maybe Nathan lol) were courteous, professional and kind. I love Midas!
I’ve gone there a couple times. Last time I went was 2 years ago to get a net car battery. 1. It’s already dead within 2 years. 2. I paid a little over $300 because I’m sure they knew I did not know much about cars and my car was completely dead. It’s a shame you can’t get fair car prices or quality work here.
These guys at Midas Touch know what they’re talking about, and they do more than just fix your car needs - they teach you about your car. I got my car fixed in less than 30 minutes and gained valuable knowledge about my car. Great location, and well worth the extra drive if you don’t live around Town Center. 5 stars from me!
The staff at this Midas location always make me feel welcomed. They are very inviting and do what they can to give quality service. They also find ways to save you money where they can. I’ve been coming here for roughly 2 years now and I do not have a complaint. Highly recommend.
I’m a college student at KSU and there was an oil change deal happening. I decided to save money and go to Midas and I received very good service from the store manager leaving me with satisfaction.His name is Alan and he treated me and my other college age friend with much respect and was very kind to us. I definitely recommend having them work on your vehicle.
I love them! I always come to them to get oil changes. I appreciate them always checking to make sure everything else on my car is in good shape. If there is something else I need done they’re always willing to take care of it right away and give me a fair price. I never have to wait too long for my car to get worked on and I never have to come back to have a job redone because they always do a great and efficient job the first time. I trust them completely here at Midas and everyone is super professional and friendly. I was even taken back and shown what was wrong with my tires and why they needed to be replaced! I would recommend them to any and everyone!
This place is AMAZING! I had issues with a Ford dealership in Kennesaw that had been doing some work on my car. So when I was tired of dealing with them, I called Midas. I spoke to a man that took his time to talk to me and wasnt rushing me off the phone when I had questions. I called a couple of other places to get price quotes, and ended up deciding on Midas. So I called back and the manager answered the phone. After a short conversation, I had an appointment for a convenient time for me. When I went in, the same manager was there and was just as friendly in person as he had been on the phone. He and his team had me in and out under 30 min with a new tire. I would highly recommend this place!
I get all repairs to my work vehicle here. These guys get me in and out very quickly with no problems after having whatever fixed. Took my personal car in for the first time and it was just the same. They identified what was causing a crazy noise from my car, removed it & we were back on the road noise free in 10 minutes. Top notch service.
Came here to get an oil change, they told me that my oil pan needed to be replaced. No big deal, I have a mechanic in North Georgia I take my car to for big repairs. I had them replace my front tires and a couple lights. Ive been coming here for 5 years, and Ive never had an issue until today. The front clerk seemed all over the place. As he went to close me out the pricing was way off, almost $450. I asked if that was right, and they tried to charge me for a couple of things that werent even done. He fixed the price finally. My car had been finished for around 45 minutes, and I was patiently waiting for him to close me out because there was a couple people ahead of me. He asked if I had the keys, and I said no??? Then he said they were in car. The best part is my car was left on out front for the entire 45 minutes I was waiting. Needless to say I was upset with the entire visit. I will no longer be coming here. After checking my receipt they charged me an extra $20 for a hazard warranty which I never agreed to, and they charged me for 2 hi beam headlight replacements when I asked for only the one that was out to be replaced. Talk about a rip off.
I scheduled an appointment for a tire change very late at night - went in early next morning, and was taken care of and out in less than an hour. The technician taking caring of me was named William - he was polite, professional and to the point. He, and even some of the working crew, diagnosed my tires, explained and showed the problems to me, and educated me on car tires. I was impressed, and most importantly, reassured, by their service. Because of this, Midas has me completely sold as an ongoing customer.
(UPDATE) Again, amazing service, very friendly and always makes sure Im educated on whats going on with my vehicle, rather than just suggesting what should be done. Ive been a loyal customer for years, and even though Ive moved further away from this location, I dont mind making the drive to Adam & his crew,knowing me and my vehicle will be treated fairly each time. ****Adam & his technicians always provide great service! I am always weary of people working on my car, however at this location, ever since Adam took over as managment, I am always pleased each time. They are very knowledgeable & courteous. My car is like my baby and I trust them to take great care of it! Ill always feel comfortable recommending this location to friends and family.
Midas gives you impeccable service! Very great customer service experience! I came in and found out that there more things wrong with car than my budget would allow. Adam and Richard made sure that I got the best discount options and he worked with me until I could afford the service. I went in for an oil change and left with and oil change and 4 brand new tires! Id reccomend this location to anyone!
Midas has the best service around and the most affordable prices as well. I took my Jeep Patriot in to get my brakes looked at because they were squealing and They are very quick and thorough with the inspection, which was free. They are very honesty and aren’t looking to just get paid. They made sure that I got what I needed fix so that I would be safe on the roads. Thank you Midas!
I just can’t for a oil change and found out their was other problems wrong with my car . Adam informed on my bad tires that i got ripped off on . As a lady it’s important to know certain things about your car which i had no knowledge about , Adam taught me how to check the dates on my tires and any cracking , showed me every step of the way with my brakes and how things should and shouldn’t look. I really appreciate him ! I will be coming back for sure!!!!
I wish I could give this place 10 stars. The entire staff knows exactly what theyre doing, and they do it well. William the service manager is excellent and an incredibly nice guy. Matthew & AJ the technicians, are top notch. They all know what needs to be done to get your vehicle back on the road, and will not pressure you into fixing stuff now when it can really wait. Matthew & AJ care more about your safety and will go above & beyond to get you back in a safe vehicle. This shop is definitely where Ill be taking my vehicle for any maintenance issue from now on, because these guys are great!
Growing up in a shop always makes it difficult when my personal auto needs repairs. Many times you get to shop and can smell the BS coming off of the sales associate or service manager as soon as they start talking. That was not the case today. Charles and the entire staff at this Midas were courteous, professional, and thorough in all services delivered & offered.The technician that serviced and inspected my car found a problem that the dealership has been searching for months to find to no avail. Turns out the half-shaft connector was deteriorating and causing a pop & inconsistency with the turning. By the time they got it taken apart and off, the actual connector was nearly worn completely away. This could have lead to a catastrophic failure, for those of you that dont know what Im talking about just imagine your front driver side & transmission suddenly grinding on highway 75 as you creep through your morning commute, not a pretty picture.Long story short, $150 fix instead of a possibly totaled car in the matter of months. They did not stop there, they actually had to go across town to get a specialized tool to remove the connector, while short staffed, they still managed to get there, get back, and get it completed all in the one day.Finally they completed the scheduled service for brakes, completed full inspection with realistic expectation of maintenance and services needed soon with an included, itemized quote with no expectation of completing the service there. However, I will continue to recommend this Midas location for their impeccable quality of customer & technical service and will continue to return there for any future mechanical needs that I cannot complete myself. Thank you again Charles and the rest of the Kennesaw Midas staff!!
I went to Midas today and had the best customer service! I went for a oil change and the staff was very professional and nice. I had the oppurtunity to meet the store manager Adam. He was also very professional, knowledgeable and caring. He took the time to visually show me other car concerns he saw and safety hazards. The oil change came with free car inspection and in the process he saw that both my rear tires had deep cuts, rips and even nails in them. I was shocked and I had no idea I was putting my life at risk every time I drove. He showed genuine concern and recommended new tires at very great price! Normally, I would of brushed him off and told him Ill be fine but when he visually showed me the problem and showed genuine concern I was more than happy to buy the new tires. I felt good about where I was putting my money into and Im very happy he showed me. This was my first time coming here and I absolutely had a rewarding experience. Thank you Adam & Thank You Midas!
Have been coming here for about 3 years. They have worked with me in the past with pricing for oil changes, alignment and new tires. However my most recent visit was to diagnose my radiator leak and fix it, they did a terrible job with both. They ended up replacing the radiator and leaving the old hoses in place saying they were fine. Gave me a discount to do the job. When I picked up my vehicle I pointed out that there were several bolts missing from front end and pointed out that the whole front end was loose and not stable. The manger took a few minutes to add a bolt and ended up beaking a few plastic snaps that held the air intake to the body. When I pointed out the damage he had just done and the other bolts still missing and the radiator fan loose he got defensive and said its an old car. That it was already loose and those items work already broke and missing. He was very rude to my wife and I. Didnt want to fix the issues. We filled a complaint with corporate and have not heard from anyone. Midas and this location is terribleYes theyll give you a discount but wont stand by their work or give you the time of day if you complain. Take your vehicle else where, anywhere but here.
I absolutely love Adam and his team at Midas. These guys are really hardworking and know their stuff! Anytime I have a problem with my car, this is the first place I come. The prices that I get quoted are unbeatable and the customer service is on point. I highly recommend this place!!
When I arrived for my oil change the Manager Jon came out to greet me and was well knowledgeable of what my car needed. I really appreciate how friendly and professional he was. Also, the mechanic Will was helpful and provided me with some info regarding my tires that was much needed. I look forward to going back.
My very first time going to Midas was amazing! I got an oil change and 4 brand new tires.The quote that they gave me on the tires was great as well. The staff there was very helpful, and got me in and out. If I ever need anything done to my car Midas at town center will always be my first stop!
My boyfriend and I recently came in for an oil change on his vehicle and the staff and service was great. Bear was able to show me what else was wrong with the vehicle, and explain in detail what would need to be fixed soon on my boyfriends car. I highly recommend the store!
Wow. This place is A+ and I would highly recommend this specific Midas to anyone who needs tires, oil change, etc. Adam was super nice and helpful and William gave us a great deal on tires. They even changed out tail light for free. These people care about their customers and really go the extra mile to make sure you feel taken care of. Ride on!
I would like to personally thank Adam, William & Charles for the work & effort they put into fixing my Passat. They went above & beyond in their work but not only that, the recommendations they made in order to make the vehicle better. Their honesty and commitment to making sure everything was done correctly was spot on and very much appreciated. They went as far as fix a smaller issue that came about after I drove and fixed it along with an additional service to make it without cost to me. Their service is top notch in my book. May GOD continue to abundantly bless the workers & this town centre location. My daughter patronized this location for the 1st time & she was beyond grateful. Being a recently graduated college student w/ limited funds Mr Adam definitely took care of her. I love that he was honest with her regarding her vehicle & what was truly needed at that time. Most women seem to get taken advantage of because of our non vehicle knowledge BUT this was NOT the case here. I love the way Mr Adam showed me his love for God & letting me know he would be straight with me by displaying his cross. They all were very personable & their conversations went beyond SHOP talk. We also learned about a healthy drink product & scented candles on that day :) I appreciate the valuable expertise work that they performed on her vehicle that day. We were barely done with lunch when we got a phone call of completion...SOOO FAST!!! Fresh coffee & a spectacular restroom...We definitely will continue to patronize this friendly neighborhood establishment.
I was told about Midas from a colleague and she was completely correct. The service at Midas was spectacular. The location is spotless and inviting. Adam kept me informed of everything that was occurring with my vehicle, he showed me pricing for everything, showed me exactly what the issue was regarding my car and gave me the best price available...thank you for treating Teachers so special!!! Today I have become a constant customer :)
Great customer service!! I had a big piece of plastic get stuck on exhaust. It melted and burned on pipe. I pulled the big piece away but a little bit was still stuck and burning. The smell was annoying. The guys here were able to remove the plastic. My exhaust looks so much better and no more burn smell.First time at Midas was a good experience.
Love Love this place. I’m new to the area & they welcomed me & my vehicle w/ open arms. William is such an awesome worker. He gave me special pricing as well as recommend some things that was actually needed & not just for a sale. He was very honest which I appreciate that w/ me being a woman. I’ve sent several family members to this location as well. I had my service dog this particular day & we discussed his dog at home. We are both dog lovers! I will continue to do business with the staff at Midas in Kennesaw. Keep up the good work!
Man these guys are amazing, they helped me identify a problem with my tires and even test drove it to make sure everything was ok. Once they found the problem, they didnt even charge me bc tire inspections are free...what! They looked at it for 40 min and just told me if I needed to get work done down the line to bring it in. They literally restored my faith in humanity!
I actually had an issue with another Midas, so I was kind of turned off to them. But I received a free Oil Change in the mail, so I figured I’d at least redeem that. I traveled up to the Kennesaw location, and that had to be the best decision Ive made regarding my car in FOREVER! The staff here at this location are SOOO friendly and knowledgeable. I specifically dealt with William, the Service Manager, and he went over and beyond to provide me with the most accurate information regarding my car. He brought me out to the garage, had me speak with Technician Charles, who further gave me an in-depth analysis of the things they saw. AT NO POINT did they ever try to up-sell me into fixing things on my car; just simply provided the information I needed to know about its current status, and allowed me to ask more questions and make a decision that I felt most comfortable with. Im pretty sure that I am going to bring both mine and my wifes car into that shop from now on ANYTIME I need something fixed. Its not often that you get exceptional service along with knowledgeable experts. Kudos Team!
Best auto shop around. Absolutely cant beat the prices and the quality workmanship. They really love what they do and are passionate about customer service and the safety of their customers. Adam and William are personal and knowledgeable and I never feel as a Woman Im getting ripped off. Thats a big one.
There are not enough stars in the sky to rate the awesome service that we received at Midas Town Center!!!! We were over the moon with the quality of service, great prices, and concern for our safety.We traveled from South Fulton (College Park), Georgia. It was definitely worth the road trip! Thank you Charles, Adam and all the staff that made it possible for our 07 Honda Fit to be on the road again. The votes have been calculated and the eyes have declared that MTC is the best car care service and perfect fit for our family.
This location is truly a hidden gem. Its smaller staff insures that no matter when you come, there is at least one person who worked with you on a previous visit. Every time I have come to this location, they have been open and honest about any issues my vehicle had. I try to do as much work as I can on my own vehicle, and they are always quick to give advice as to what is easy to attempt for someone at home, and what is best left to professionals. I have always been picky as to where i take my vehicle, and I would absolutely recommend this Midas to anyone who asked.
I absolutely love this place! After switch from a different car service Midas has been nothing but great! As service is being done they give an awesome sheet explaining everything on the what you “need, might need, will need, and low levels”. If something is wrong with the car, like mine was, they take you out and show you exactly what they are talking about! Thank you to Adam and the whole Midas team!
Midas in Town Center is by far the best all around. I have never left feeling as if my car was not in great hands. Adam and every man working there always make sure they are giving you exactly what you need at a incredible price. Would never doubt them nor would I ever go anywhere else!
Adam and his team are by far the BEST. I came in yesterday for an oil change and Im back today for tires. I wouldnt trust my tires to ANYONE except the Tire King and he has the BELT to prove his title. I want to mention I went to Express Oil Change first and was completely rubbed the wrong way by the attitude filled customer service, so I left and came here and Im so happy I did. I have a Volkswagen Jetta and repairs are expensive. He got me fair prices on tires. If you need oil changes, tires, brakes...go to Midas. 5 star experience
Do not recommend. Wasted $80 on a diagnostic for them to not only not tell me anything relevant about the original issue, but to instead give me a false diagnostic of a $2000 repair issue. Then proceeded to spend $45 on a product to potentially help said false issue that never existed. So to sum up, told me nothing about the real problem I came in for and instead created a fake one.Nice guy at the front, but lacking elsewhere. I would look for other options, regardless Midas doesn’t have any more business from me.
Adam was great! He was patient with me while I was explaining my situation over the phone. He helped me from the time I walked in, until I left. Him and the staff got my car taken care of were doing in less than 1 hr. I appreciate the great service today and if Im ever back in the area yall will be my go too!Thanks yall!
This is my first experience with Midas, my vehicle had been looked at by a dealership and a local mechanic and neither were able to identify the cause of my problems. I described the symptoms I had been experiencing to Wayne and Mike and within 30 minutes he called me out and explained what he was seeing. He had corrected the problem and I was out within the hour. Great customer service and very personable, I would recommend to anyone!
A few months ago, I went in for a regular oil change and tire rotation. During the rotation, the guys noticed that there was a nail in one of my tires and the other one was severely worn. The store closed at 6, but they were more than happy to stay there late to install two new tires and run an alignment check for me. I left an hour after the store closed, but never once were the guys trying to rush me out. Excellent service, and Im going to make a point to go to these guys at Midas for any future issues!Then today, I went in with a noise in my truck. Wayne couldnt get me in in time for me to make a doctors appointment, but he told me to call him when I was done and theyd take a look. He even offered me a ride back home if they needed to keep it over night. These guys are GREAT.
Staff was very nice and friendly! They greeted me nicely as I was entering the shop. Allen was kind enough to help me out with the services I need along with his staff. Even though I went in right before they were closing they still helped me get my oil changed and took less than 15 minutes!! Would recommend coming here.
The store manager, William, is an outstanding worker and person overall. I am a person who knows very little about cars and anything dealing with them, but William is very patient and knowledgeable in this area. He has taken the time on two desperate occasions to answer my many questions, and even sketched a drawing to help me understand. I am a African American female, and I never feel like William or anyone in this shop tries to “get over” because I’m a female or treat me any different than anyone else. I LOVE THIS PLACE!!!
Bunch of crooks, do not go here unless you want to get swindled out of your money. I went to get a quote for a muffler replacement on a 2010 Hyundai Genesis and they told me it was going to be almost impossible & easily cost over $1000 since it wasnt a direct fit muffler and would require a lot of pipe bending. I knew this was BS since Ive had the same work done on another car, except they had to bend pipe over my rear axle (easily twice as much work) it only cost me $230. Went to another shop who has had to redo a lot of mistakes from Midas, including a horrendous looking muffler job they kept on display, they said it would take about an hour, easy job cost no more than $190. Ive heard many stories about this place, co workers going in for a brake job then coming out with over $1000 in replacements that were just fine to begin with. THIS IS WHY PEOPLE DO NOT TRUST MECHANICS ANYMORE, SCUMBAGS!!!
I initially went to Midas to get a second estimate for a cat converter. One of the techs Eli, said he wanted to make sure that it was a cat converter and set me up for quick diagnostic. Well, it was the converter and a lot more that needed to be done. I had just purchased a 2004 truck for my teenage daughter, and it required a lot of TLC. I was given an estimate of everything that needed to be done at the moment and for later. Wayne Amos, the manager, took me over to the service tech Michael, who showed me everything under my truck that needed repair and why. I had never been given such a thorough explanation of repairs. It was a bit costly, and couldnt afford it. Wayne said he would work with me to find the best prices for the parts. The district manager gave me a ride home because I had to leave my truck. Mr. Amos called the next day and told me great news that actually save me $650.00. I proceeded to have all of the work done by Michael, who explained and showed me all the repairs that he had completed. I was soo happy that I would finally have the truck working and running properly. Even when I heard a knocking noise after test driving it, Michael immediately went to work to find out the issue. Although there was more work to be done than I initially thought, I am glad I took the truck to Midas. Mr. Amos, Michael, Eli and Andrew all were extremely helpful, professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. Great service!!!!
Really bad upselling and introduced more issues than fixed!!!Went for a minor oil change of my 18 year old van (which of course had a lot of imperfections but was running fine with very little leaks and not so occasional top ups). They wanted change of all tires which still had some life in them given that van is driven mostly locally - so I declined. Next was radiator flush - I agreed and later they called in to say it needs gasket change which at that point I had to agree. They could not give a proper delivery time for returning the van for the next couple of days - it kept changing and while I was asking details for the delay, manager tried to give a lecture on qualification of the mechanic. In between they also wanted to do some additional work to be done (worth another $600 or something) since the engine bay is already opened - which I declined. Anyway, finally they returned the van and turns out it has service engine soon warning lit up and lifter tapping noise (which were never there before). They were very hopeful that it will go away after some miles since they put some magic formula in the engine. On my way home I encountered a little engine misfiring and few more noises. But their magic worked in the next couple of days - the warning light and misfiring were gone. Then I noticed that the AC which was working perfectly before the repair is no longer working. I took the van to them and they wanted to start by doing their regular ac checkup (of course they told that I will be paying for the checkup and repair). At that point I believed I had enough and did not leave my van for checkup. And not sure if this is related to their repair - shortly my gearbox needed changing too.I am pretty positive that I had to face these many issues partly because of the condition of my van and not solely on their competency. However from the beginning I had been telling them that my van is not worth attempting to fix everything which they ignored on purpose and later messed up more than they fixed (and not accountable for those).
This was my first time using MIDAS for anything and I was very surprised. I needed brakes and rotors which i thought would take a while but with my appointment I was done in 90 mins. The service was great. The Service Manager William was very helpful. I would use them again.
William was AWESOME! It was about 5:00pm an hour before close and he was willing to still accept me for an oil change when he already had a full garage. I am pleased with the customer service. I was actually willing to return in the morning and he was so willing to fit me in. It didnt even take an hour I was out in 20 minutes. One of the most fastest oil changes I have ever had!!! I really felt appreciated. I will be returning to MIDAS- Kennesaw location they even report to CARFAX :) . Thanks William for being friendly, knowledgeable and making me feel like my money was well spent. P.S. I use to always go to the EXPRESS Oil Change right here off of Barrett Parkway RUNNNN AWAY, they fixed my serpentine belt and 1 month later my car was RUINED...

Adam Toomey the manager of this location has an attitude problem, a cheat and a liar. I came in for a wheel bearing in which I had already knew I needed. Of course Adam Toomey wants to present the up selling for things that Im sure I didnt need so I politely declined. He also made it seem like he was giving me a discount on my service... While they were working on my car he took me back several times to show me things that I needed done to my car, which defeats the purpose because I didnt know what I was looking for anyways. After taking the wheel off, Adam Toomey told me that I needed a left axle, and that if I didnt get it repaired, that he needed to hold my car because it was a safety hazard to drive and that the police would be involved. So I panicked because I needed my car, and I had to come up with extra money that I didnt have for the repair. So all the while they were working on my car, he was constantly coming back and forth trying to upsell when I specifically told him no. So heres the good part.... After I had paid for the repairs, he tells me that some lights are on due to me needing a wheel sensor. In the past I have experienced dash lights coming on after a repair, but after driving it for several miles, itll just turn off. So I decided to wait a couple of days to see if this time it would shut off and it didnt. Now when I took my car in, there were no lights on, but after the repair, the ABS and the traction light was on. I took the car back and tried to explain to Adam Toomey that the lights werent on when I brought the car in , and why would I need a wheel sensor? He had a serious attitude and got angry at me because I questioned him. He gave me an explanation that absolutely made no sense on why I needed a wheel sensor. He took my car back, ran it through the computer and still insisted on me needing a wheel sensor. He printed up an estimate for it and said that he would only charge me for the parts and not the labor. I asked if he could fix it... FYI it was 5pm and they close at 6pm... and he told me no, they were closing. I called corporate and Sandra was very helpful and understanding with the situation. She advised me to take my car to a different location to have it thoroughly checked by a master mechanic at no charge. She also set the appointment up. I took it to the location in Marietta and they took my car in. Come to find out it wasnt a broken wheel sensor, they put my wheel bearing on backwards. And they had to replace the wheel bearing. So with that being said, I wouldnt recommend this location at all. If Adam Toomey had of just told the truth from the beginning because I know things happen, I wouldnt be writing this review. He was so concerned about making money and willing to do and say anything to get it. Its not worth the time and money.... Refrain from going to this location!
I went to get a oil change and replacement of brake shoes as soon as I pulled in William knew who I was after speaking with him on the phone he had very good customer service very clean building will definitely go back. Oh and I didnt know about this place until I googled companys that did brakes (mieneke was a huge NO for me on canton road) I saw really good reviews and thats why I came here. Thank God I did!!!!!
Dont let the name fool you. What they touch doesnt turn to gold it gets worse. They used some gray clay to cover the gaps and seals on my exhaust system to prevent it from making noise as I drove the car from their shop. 30 minutes later when I exited the highway, my car was sounding like a lawn mower. I would have had more respect for them if they had just refused to work on my car then to create a new problem. Stick with a mom and pop shop. Just because the name midas is reputable it doesnt mean the mechanic is the same. Never again.
So traveling south with 2 dogs in the car and radiator goes. I reach out via phone and they said can you get here we ll get you in right away. Within 2 hours back on the road and were able to made it to my final destination despite the Atlanta traffic. Thank you for your help!
I came in with a rough idle on my 1994 honda accord, no other shop could figure out the issue. I came to Midas and Charles the main technician was able to figure it out within 30minutes. The torque converter lock up solenoid was getting stuck causing it to idle rough. Charles walked me through the whole process and showed me what was wrong. He replaced the solenoid pack and I was on the road again. All in a reasonable time frame and was cost effective. Highly recommend going here!
We took our car here for a standard oil change, after having taken it to Wal-Mart first, where they said they couldnt change the filter because it wasnt the type of filter they used. Midas had no problem doing it, even though they werent the ones to originally service the car. Wal-Mart lost my business and Midas gained it...and they did it with friendly service!!!
Made an appointment online and wasted time and money traveling over there to be told, there’s a 2 1/2 hour wait even for appointments. Why even have a site where you can schedule appointments if you don’t honor it. I had gone somewhere else and they actually honored my appointment that I made with y’all. Not a good way to keep clients 👎🏻
Midas put me back on the road!Driving from Florida to Ohio, I stopped at Comfort Inn near Towne Center Mall for the night. When I woke up Saturday morning my car wouldnt started. Grrr I called for a tow and looked online for mechanics that work on Saturday AND who would be trustworthy.Once the the tow truck driver arrived she and I looked online for another 15 minutes or so and just could not find anyone. Yes, Im crying about now. She ended up towing my car to the nearest car repair shop and left. I walked in and asked if they fixed computers in the car and they said no and that they couldnt EVEN get to it until Monday!!! OMG No!! Crap. :(I went out side trying to figure out what to do when suddenly something made me turn around. I hadnt even SEEN Midas when I pulled up and there they were. So I walked over and asked them the same question do you work on computers in cars and they said yes. Yes? You do? Awesome!Charles got right to work hooking my car up to the machine that reads sensors and he found the problem. He was amazing. Actually, all of the employees at Midas were amazing. They not only fixed my car, correctly I must add, but they did it quickly and reasonably.I HIGHLY recommend this Midas as they WILL treat you right!
Most honest car guys youre going to find. Theyre more interested in working on cars and helping people than trying to drain your kids college fund. Theyll tell you what needs to be fixed versus what could be fixed but can wait, so you can budget as needed. Its become the only place Im willi g to take my vehicles.
Most people there have been helpful aside from the gentleman today that hung up on me when I told him I would have to look elsewhere since part they installed was no longer under warranty. I have spent over $2k here in the past 18 months and have had issues with 2 repairs.Catalytic converter was replaced and check engine light came on flashing the same code a few months later. Catalytic converter may very well still be OK however I suspect oxygen sensor should have been changed (same code) instead of or in addition to catalytic converter and now I have to spend more money yet again.Also, had engine mounts replaced (current issue) and one of the new ones is already in worse shape than the original ones after only 10 months (when I first called). I was told it only has a 90 day warranty. I respect that but paying this much money the repairs should last longer (especially an engine mount that most people never have to replace in the life of their vehicle, let alone after 20k miles).
Very happy with the service I received. The crew has been very honest with me and I fully appreciate that. I am a 22 year old girl living in a college town so, its great to know I have somewhere to take my car where I will not get taken advantage of. I will be taking my car here from here on!
I will make this as succinct as possible keeping brevity in mind while not jeopardizing the substance of my complaint. As a general rule I have found Midas to be a respectable business. I went to this particular location December 30th at 245pm. Upon pulling up to an empty lot the front desk attendant approached my car before I turned the key off (which I thought was odd) and asked “what can I do for you”? I told him my “heating, air and defrost “are not working. The gentlemen went through his diatribe about having to run a “diag” and what the cost would be and if I decided to get it fixed with them the diagnostic charge would be waived. Fair enough.Several minutes after being inside I was approached by the same gentlemen (the assistant manager as it turns out) stating I would need to purchase a fuse before they could run the diagnostics. I had some trepidation about this notion but gave him the go-ahead. Shortly thereafter, another gentleman (the manager) approached me with an estimate. The manager Adam told me that it was just a fuse that was needed to fix my heat and that my check engine light was on. Continually, the diagnostics suggested that there were two things wrong that I needed to fix in order to get the check engine light to go off. Moreover the check engine light would need to be off if I had any desires off passing emissions and thus switching my out-of-state tags to Georgia tags. After ruminating over this I asked if the estimate included what they said my heat needed and I had also asked for an oil change provided the cost for me heating being fix was not too expensive. Adam replied I forgot to put the twenty-dollar fix for your heating but if you get these other things fixed I will waive that charge, I agreed.Needless to say after spending 3 hours in the shop ( to which I was initially told I would be out in an hour or so) I was presented with another problem that ultimately needed to be fixed prior to the check engine light turning off. I know what you are thinking, why didn’t the diagnostics pick this up? Now, the explanation I received was, well let’s just say, left a lot to be desired. The assistant manager (Adam apparently had left by this time) tried to give some erroneous analogy that fell short of natural reasoning but whatever, what can I do? Now, the only reason I agreed to get those two things fixed which was not apart of my initial complaint was to, you guessed it, get my check engine light off. Once I relayed this to the assistant manager he replies that his “hands are tied” and he can’t give me the keys until I pay (which is odd that was apart of his default response because I never mentioned not paying). After they tried to reach the manger to no avail I asked that they have Adam call me Tuesday so we can discuss this more specifically.The story gets better, spoiler alert! Upon driving home I realized my heating was not working. So not only did I pay for two things with the premise it would get my check engine light off, the initial thing I brought my car in for was not fixed.Tuesday comes along and I had not heard from Adam so I placed a call. Adam answers and mentions they indeed had a “meeting” about the situation. He then goes on some ridiculous soliloquy about how the part I need to get the check engine light off is this, and that-whatever! I then brought up that my heating was still not working and he mentions that it was told to him I didn’t say my heat wasn’t working I just said it wasn’t blowing any air. In my opinion that is a distinction without a difference but whatever, the fact that he was trying to convince me that the ultimate problem was my description of the problem instead of them not fixing or addressing the issues is absurd. Mr. Adam was also quick to assert “they didn’t even charge me for fixing the blowing” and that I can bring the car back in and they can “quote” me for what my car needs to get the heat fixed.The level of defensiveness and the militant way in which I was addressed when I brought the problem to their attention is beyond unprofessional.
They over charge on anything they do. Went in for a new exhaust and they said they could just patch it not even a day later the patches fell off. A girl I work with was also getting ripped off by them because she doesnt know anything about cars and they made it seem like they knew what they were talking about. Made her spend over a grand on stuff she didnt need! Crooks
I called this place to take my vehicle, Adam took my call. first of all he refused giving me the price over the phone (even though I told him what vehicle it is ) and second of all he said he is not sure my car will fit in the garage. when I asked do you know what your clearance is ? He replied NO and when Im asking Can you measure it and let me Know ? He says No Sir we dont Have tape measure here, we are nor Carpenters! Such a RUDE answer and as a person in charge of the store you need to know your entrance height not to make joke when some one asks you about it.Im sorry for this unmanaged manager.
I went there using an oil change and tire rotation coupon. The employee told me that my tires were more than 5 years old and per Georgia law I would get a ticket from the police if the police found out. He quoted several prices for the tires. No tire rotation was done. Of course theres no such law in Georgia.
After making a appointment and buying my tires over the phone I had to wait for about 2 1/2 hours for tire replacement. Their machine broke and they toke my rim to the next service station for assembly. Recently, I had to travel out of state and I found out that one of the tires wasnt balanced even thought I paid for it. For sure next time Im not gonna return here.
Ive worked for the midas in kennesaw for almost a year and ive got to say ive had a great experience, its a great place full of knowledgeable technicians and an awesome manager theyrreeee greeeaaattt- like frosted flakes everyone gets along and work as a team which is very important when working on peoples source of transportation and insuring there safety on the road i would recommend midas in kennesaw to anyone looking for a auto shop to call home as a customer or employee.
I was very disappointed, I request full synthetic oil and show the coupon, T told twice that I wanted full synthetic and The Man doing my request type normal service and give it to the service person when was time to pay I check the sheet and say normal service, I ask him why and He say I make a mistake but I request full synthetic I pay for it but I was so disappointed because I know that He charge my $ 64 for a normal service, very unhappy for it I was trusting Midas as a serious service but now I don’t.
I can in with a lot of issues and was in a bit of a rush. Cody got my car back immediately. Cody, Cody and Kendrick took amazing care of my car and went above and beyond to make sure that I left feeling safe in my car and well taken care of. I was blown away by their customer service. They included me in their conversations about my vehicle and made sure that I knew exactly what was going on. This location isnt in my area but I will ALWAYS go out of my way to make sure that I see these guys for my car.Incredible customer service!!
My sister wen to a different mechanic for an oil change. They not only did not change the oil, but they left things in the car undone making it very dangerous for her to drive. Thankfully, she came here and was well taken care of. Thank you for keeping my sister safe and making sure her car was okay.

2022-07-17The service manager at this location, Noel, demonstrated the most vile behavior and customer service I have ever witnessed.I brought my car here on Friday July 16th, 2022 to be serviced. Upon inspection, Noel found that there was an issue with my wheel bearing which needed to be replaced. Cost of the part= $147. Price for labor= $500. Diagnostics= $90. After all the extra pricing, the job came out to $900. I was desperate to have my car fixed this day. I agreed to the job.3 hours later, I get a call that ANOTHER part has been broken, the knuckle which holds the wheel bearing had snapped off in the middle of the job. Noel told me that this part that had been damaged needed to be ordered and wouldn’t be in until the following Monday. Due to me now being inconvenienced for the entire weekend and now needing a ride back home, I called my mother and two other members of my family to help resolve the now heightened issue. I no longer wanted to get my car serviced at the location since there now has been additional damage done to the car.Noel was patronizing, saying that I could not get my OWN car back and refused to do the additional labor (unless I paid) to put the wheel back on the car to have it towed to a different shop. I had to call the POLICE to even get my car back. After lots of back and forth, Noel finally agreed to lower the cost and service the car as originally intended.HOWEVER Noel’s patronizing didn’t stop there. Speaking over my mother and other women in the shop, talking down, and even THREATENING myself with comments such as ”We don’t call the police over here” and “I’m Jamaican, I don’t play” You don’t play about what Noel? I defended my mother, saying African Americans are also to be respected due to the frontier of civil rights held in this country. Noel replies by saying “AFRICAN AMERICANS ARE LAZY AND HAVE DONE NOTHING”. He begins questioning what rights have AAs fought for, and even defends himself by saying “Kanye said it”I have never seen such ignorance on full display coming from a service coordinator of a business establishment. The high priced bill and confiscation of my car was one thing, and could be resolved civilly. BUTXenophobic and misogynistic comments however, I can NOT stand beside. DO NOT HAVE YOUR CAR SERVICED HERE. You will be overcharged, and even worse, if African American, will be seen as “lazy” and “does nothing”. Anyone who stands against xenophobia and misogyny should STEER CLEAR!

2022-07-30Go to Midas!!! My car was shaking this morning and I was super worried. I went next door to Firestone at first and was told I couldn’t get help until Thursday. I decided to call Midas and thank goodness I did. Cody answered and was super polite and welcoming. There were snacks, drinks, music and even a charger available when I needed it. They were celebrating customer appreciation day! Then Mike went above and beyond keeping me updated the entire process off my car being repaired and making sure I was able to drive off worry free and in my budget. As a single mom I felt confident I wasn’t being taken advantage of and someone actually cared. While waiting I heard other customers issues and saw them getting amazing service as well. 10/10!!!

Thomas and Damian were very professional and friendly and were able to accommodate my walk-in after missing my appointment. Everyone is very knowledgeable and friendly and provided great service. I will keep recommending this location to family and friends.

2022-08-03I have been coming to the Kennesaw location for three years now and I am always satisfied with the services this store provides. From the customer service the employees provide, to the great quality parts this store offers. Cody, who is the customer service representative up front will always make sure you have a pleasant experience and is known to make time fly while you are waiting for your car. No one likes to be out money on their vehicles or have to deal with the hassle; however, anytime I leave this place, I leave with a clear understanding of what’s going on and most importantly, I don’t feel like I was harassed and bombarded to spend additional money to fix things that aren’t urgent or things that can wait. If you need an automotive shop, choose Midas!

2022-08-11I had my car towed to MIDAS. I was met by two mechanics . I received great service . The sitting area was clean great coffee ! Restroom clean and stocked. After such an ordeal highway 75. I appreciated the service and the time in which the service was given.

2022-07-20This is gonna be an unusual review but I’m gonna write it anyways. I came to the shop with an unusual request I had trouble and needed help with my airsoft gun and yes my airsoft gun not my car. I went to a airsoft store nearby to try and get some stripped screws remove on my gun because I didn’t have the proper equipment to remove said screws but I didn’t know upon getting to the airsoft store that it was close on a WEDNESDAY. so I was desperate I looked up the closest mechanic shop and prayed to god they would help me take some stripped screws off with their equipment. That’s when I walked into Midas and explained my situation. the guys that helped me were the 3 nicest dudes I’ve met Cody, Matt, and Noel helped me out took them about 2 minutes to find the right tool to remove it and actually got it off meanwhile I tried for 2 hours trying to take it off with no luck. Thanks to these guys who didn’t need to help me but did because they were genuinely good people. Whoever owns this store should be glad they have these guys working there and helping a random stranger out even though it wasn’t a car issue. And if I do need to get my car fix I’ll be coming here for sure. Thanks Cody matt and Noel 👍

2022-02-05Tommy, Damian, Ty! They fixed my car so fast! I barely finished my lunch at Twisted Kitchen before I got the call that my car was fixed and had even fewer issues than i suspected. Excellent mechanics. Ill be back again and again!
