Good service by the staff and overall its a good place. I give two stars because: 1- I had an emergency and I had to move my things from the unit 3 (THREE!!) days after the rent was charged in my credit card. They didnt refund me for the rest of the month. So literally i paid a whole month of rent for an empty unit. 2- There was a driving accident next to my unit, I was afraid my door wouldnt work and they took a long period of time to fix it.
Nice sitter storage rooms. Owner is easy going, explains everything well and rates are not too bad. 24/7 which means you dont have to interact with anyone if you dont need to.
Great service, professional, clean, and very friendly. Very nice facility. New storage building just completed. Top notch all the way around. They go out of their way to help you. Highly recommended for storage, U Haul rental, or parking needs.
Clean buildings and storage facilities, including friendly people, and never have to worry about break ins. The security is top notch! Ive gone in the middle of the night, with my daughters with no worries. Ive had an account with them for about two years now. Will never go with anyone else.
I have used several self storage companies and I have to say that this is by far the best experience I have had. The customer service was top notch, the unit I used was clean and well kept, and the price was very reasonable. I recommend these guys to anyone needing storage space in the area.

First time using a storage unit but Joe Zachmann made me feel welcome. He also made sure that I got the size I needed. The customer service is awesome here. I will definitely use them again.
Service was ok whole area looked clean but I had on the inside of their units they really need to pay at least a little attention to how people are maintaining them and what they are in bringing
Elbow Room Storage is conveniently located near UGA and downtown Athens. They offer standard as well as climate controlled units and have a very friendly and helpful staff. I would highly recommend them for all your storage needs!

Elbow Room was a phenomenal place to store my stuff. I had a 10x10 indoor space. Theyll be first on my list of self-storage places to call from now on! A+++
This is a awesome storage facility you have 24 hour access to the storage area when I am there Im also able to put car parts on my car I mean I really take my car apart nobody does any complaining about what Im doing so I like that a lot and I think this place is the best storage facility known

2022-05-17The place is very clean and appears to be in new condition. The storage units are clean (outside, not climate controlled) for the unit I chose. The 2 employs up front were very friendly and informative and answered any questions or may have had. I returned today to get into my unit and I was having some trouble with the gate and the employee got on the cart and headed my way to help without asking but figured it out and he kept going to make his rounds. The prices are very budget friendly considering you want your personal items safe and taken care of.

2022-08-11Terrible customer service for college students. Charges are not explained properly, office hours; arent office hours when a customer is trying to enter the facility and the female attendant lies about having a meeting and will not open the door to assist a new customer gain entry to a purchased storage unit, when you can physically see shes available. I will never rent here again.

2022-02-19The manager, Neal, was fantastic! Pricing is good. I do have a problem with your military policy. You say only active military qualifies for the discount. I think that is rather discriminatory. Its like saying thank you for your present service if you are active, but screw you for your past service!

2022-04-14The scannable security cards were replaced with a keypad. Its very difficult and inconvenient for some vehicles. Especially when you drive large trucks and have to get out to key in the code because you cant get close enough to key frim inside your vehicle. This is extremely annoying. Bring back the scannable cards.

2021-07-03I know someone who has a bunch of stuff here and just helped them swap a bunch of things in and out. Facility seems reasonably secure and quite clean. Polished concrete floors are in great shape - made it easy to dolly and just slide things around. I dont have a lot of experience with self storage to draw comparisons (and have zero insight into pricing), but my impression is this place covers at least the basics.

2021-04-12I have rented a unit from them before. The place seems clean, fairly priced, secure. There are video cameras all over also. A lot better than other storage unit spots in Athens. You can do pretty much everything you need to do online if you like that. Or you can go there, the gentleman who assisted me was friendly.

2015-10-22All Around Great Storage and U-Haul Rental Place -- I know people who have had bad experiences with some other places in town, so I never hesitate to recommend this one. Good storage and U-Haul rental isnt free/crazy cheap, but its a great value for the price and as good a deal as you can hope for (especially if you value top-notch customer service and a secure facility, which frankly, everyone I know does). I mean, the place is downright pretty! I suppose thats just a bonus, though. :) Recent U-Haul rental for furniture moving in particular was a breeze. Great location near downtown.
