My son had been patiently looking for his Toyota Tacoma for two years and recently found it on 6-9-21 at Milton Ruben Toyota. He called and reached Landon Dawson and asked for more photos than the website offered. Landon immediately jumped into action and sent him some photos of the Tacoma. It was exactly what he was looking for and made arrangements to drive up on 6-10-21 to see it in person. Landon was able to hold the truck for him until we got there and it was a flawless transaction to buy the truck! My son couldnt have been happier with his first major purchase and the attention he received from Landon and the finance officer who took his time to explain everything to him since it was a new experience for my son! I would HIGHLY recommend you take the time to visit Milton Ruben Toyota and the EXCELLENT staff that work there. The two hour drive for us was well worth the effort and my son couldnt be happier with his new truck! THANKS LANDON FOR TAKING SUCH GOOD CARE OF HIM AND KEEPING THE TRUCK IN RESERVE UNTIL WE COULD GET THERE TO PURCHASE IT!
Multiple issues:I called to get my brake pad changed and also get my sensor checked out since it was beeping at random times. So I made an appointment.1. They scheduled me without the brake pad change even though my appt was literally scheduled for that service. So I called them again.2. They told me that they need to connect me to ‘Service Advisor’ to add the service in. I called MIlton Ruben to transfer me to the ‘service advisor’ NINE times and no one picked up during working hour. When I asked front desk what they are doing, I was told that the ‘service advisors’ are just sitting around. Huge waste of my time.3. Prior to, I was told by milton Ruben service people that brake pad change will cost $195 for the front and rear for $195. I went to this Toyota dealership for awhile so they know my model and year of the car. Day before my appointment, they told me that front will cost me $225 and rear for $225. They told me it’s an “old model pads”4. Asked for the managers to clarify. It was around 3:30 pm and was told all managers went home.Very disappointed since I had a lot of trust but not anymore.
The customer service that we received from Mr. Kelton Hayes was phenomenal! He was able to get us in a beautiful new Toyota Rav 4 in no time at all. He was very professional courteous and attentive to my wifes needs as far as what she was looking for in a vehicle. We will definitely come back and see Kelton, when we need a new vehicle. Anthony Wrona was able to get us awesome financing at a great rate.
Sold my car to the Milton Ruben Toyota dealership three weeks ago because I am PCSing to Europe. The team started with a bunch of promises and vastly under delivered. Didn’t send a certified check so I am still waiting for my pay off check.I performed all of the leg work to figure out what happened and left five voicemails with zero call backs. At this point the dealership could claim whatever they want, but they are basically stealing my car. I’ve called the County Sheriff to see what can be done. Will probably have to hire an attorney in a week if the check doesn’t arrive. One sales rep said the owner is worth ~$80m…”well then send a certified check to my financing agency” and “until it’s in my pocket I don’t care”.Complete lack of transparency, low-ball offer, possibly criminal activity. There are plenty of other options in the Augusta and South Carolina area.I’d give them zero stars if I could
Everyone here was super nice and helpful. Our sales person, Johnathan did a great job of helping us find a car that fit our needs and wants. The finance guy and sales manager were extremely accommodating. We did not feel like we were being put in a high pressure sales situation that some dealerships try to do to you. My husband did all the dealing and all I had to do was sign the paperwork and go. Everything was ready when I got there so it was very quick and easy. I will definitely be going back here and recommend that you give them a try if you are looking for something new or used.
From the time my salesman Abdullah called me after I had inquired online until I drove off the lot with my new 4runner, he was easy to work with and very knowledgeable. Paul Nopper the Sales Manager did not play sales games with me he was straight forward during the whole sales process,. A great dealership to purchase from with a awesome sales team.

Its been 4 years, yes, but whenever I thought about how the guy who sold the Mechanical Failure Service Contract kept pushing me to buy it make me real mad. I had said NO 3 times or more, but he kept talking and talking and pushing, until I said OK, thats when he finally decide to print out the contract paper, and let me out of his office.First time bought a car too so I know nothing of the mechanical failure.The seller guy up front who helped me with the car was nice, real easy and relax, sent me emails and updates after everything was finalized too.Until the mechanical failure dude crashed in and made it such an aweful experience.Sadly that his signature on the contract paper, his name nowhere to be seen, so even though I wanted to call and complain back in 2017, no luck.So, lesson learnt.

Their online person made it clear (through action) that he wouldnt put in any effort to find the truck that I want. According to their website they even have one on the lot that meets my criteria, and he never even mentioned it.If I showed up with cash in hand and wanted to buy something on the lot, I assume they would sell it to me.
We bought our vehicle from them and have been doing our service for 9 years, I scheduled an appointment on line and gave all the details needed, oil - tire rotation and check the battery they put in about 18 months ago. We were there at 7:45 for an 8:00 scheduled appointment at 8:15 i went in and asked how long it would be just to drop it off we had to get to work, they said bring it in to the center lane so my wife dropped it off and on way to work she said nobody came out and she found that strange. She called to check on the car and they could not find anything and transferred her to a service mgr got voice mail a left a message , never got a call back. Went to pick up the car and couple of people said they didn’t know anything we need to speak with one particular lady , she said sorry did not do your service because we needed to talk to someone when we drooped it off inside the bay. The quality of there service and communication has gotten very bad over the past few years as we have had little issues here and there , so its time to find a new dealer to take car of my wife’s car , we are getting ready to buy a Tundra . Not from Milton Ruben !
I found the SUV I was interested in on line and reached out to my son in law Jake Kitchens who works in the service dept. Jake then got Abraham Pacheco to reach out to me and we set up a time to come in and test drive the SUV!We were greeted by some very nice guys who informed me that Abraham was finishing up with another client and would be right with us!Within a few minutes he was with us and introduced himself and we were taking our test drive! He was very pleasant and had a lot of knowledge of the SUV. He worked to get us the best deal to where we could afford to purchase the SUV! Extremely good customer service. I used the website to request the actual final price of a new Camry and Alphonse emailed me the actual final price after taxes and fees. It was a very good price so I scheduled a test drive, and when I got there he had everything ready. Unfortunately I didnt end up buying the car, it just wasnt the right fit for my family (they didnt feel comfortable in the passenger seat). However, I would highly recommend this dealership. No hassle, good price and very professional sales person.

Abraham Pacheco is an great salesman. I called the dealership and he was the one to answer the phone. when I told him what I was looking for he made sure the car was set aside. I got to the dealership and he took me to the car to show all the features of the vehicle. After I was sold on his sales pitch we started to wheel and deal, it was fierce negotiation but we came to an agreement on price and monthly payments. All in all, Abraham will be my guy when I buy my next car. Highly recommend him
After contacting multiple Toyota dealers and not being treated with respect I was getting pretty frustrated until I reached out to Milton Ruben and was introduced to Ingram Jansen. Ingram was nice and insanely helpful from the very first moment of contact and made the process of buying my vehicle a breeze! I personally have never purchased a new car, or any car for that matter, on my own, so I had lots of questions and Ingram was willing and able to answer each of them with ease! This was my first time buying a car and all in all I’d say it was a good experience. They were willing to negotiate and work with me for the most part. Mario was great at getting me a good deal and explaining the ends and outs about the car as well. My only complaint is how long the process took. I expect this was normal, but I don’t have anything to compare this to since it was my first time buying a car. What took a big chunk of time was when they ran my credit initially. I don’t really know why that took so long. Once I finally got to see the financial manager, I negotiated which took a while, but that is understandable because I was negotiating. Before that, I don’t really know what took so long. I give 4 stars. Great place though with most friendly and helpful people.
Thank you to David Spencer, Manager Paul and Connie in finance for getting our family into a new sienna that’s just right. After leaving the Honda dealership, looking at the Odyssey, I wanted to test drive the sienna. David’s review of the sienna was FAR and beyond the information that the Honda dealership gave about their van. I felt well informed and after test driving, the decision was easy. Paul worked the numbers out for me and Connie got us out of finance as quickly as she could, assisting me in selecting the correct warranty and maintenance packages. I got an appointment to get my oil change and to take care the recall for my 2019 Tundra on Oct.01,2021.I dropped my truck at Milton Ruben Toyota service center at 10:28am and David McGahee is the one came to me and ask me If I have an appointment, I said yes I need Oil change and take care the fuel pump Safety Recall and I ask how long it will take to finish? He answered maximum 4 hours and this is the same answer that they told me over the phone about the Safety Recall when I called them to set up an appointment for my oil change. I called David McGahee four times and I called the supervisor one times , I left two messages to David McGahee first message is 2:57pm to check on my truck but he did not call me back, then I called again at 3:20pm still no answer, then I called 4:43pm and still no answer for David McGahee so I left 2nd Voicemail but again NO respond, then I called again at 4:48pm to patch me through the supervisor but no answer from their supervisor I left a message also asking to call me back about my truck but the same thing no Return call. I am expecting to get my truck around 2:30pm-3:00pm so I scheduled my customer to bring their cabinets and countertop around 4:00pm to be Install but I end-up get curse out just because I can not make it.On top of that I got home and look my paperwork they charge me for rotating my tires which is I did NOT ask for it. I went to Milton Ruben Toyota for Oil Change and take care of the Safety Recall. Guys be careful, before youll leave or pay Please look at the paperwork they might charging you without your acknowledge. I will not bringing my vehicle at Milton Ruben Toyota to service my Truck and also I told my 22 of my friends not to bring their Toyota to get service there.

Love this dealership! Went in to purchase a new 2020 Highlander; we worked with Abraham and he listened to what I wanted and also what I didn’t want. He found the perfect one for me the first time! He answered all of our questions thoroughly, was very prompt with giving us info on the car, warranty, etc. as well! The inside manager and finance personnel were also stellar! Well I will say I have had an experience with them lol but I am giving them 5 stars because the issue was corrected instantly. Anthony Wrona was AWESOME. Not only gets the job done he does it quick. My mom passed from Covid & her favorite color was red which made me purchase the 2021 Toyota Camry XSE with red interior. This purchase had a lot of meaning to it so I’m happy.

He kept in contact with us via text, but not in a harassing way. He was friendly. He explained things and answered questions we had. We highly recommend working with him. I scheduled a service appointment to do a full vehicle inspection plus tune up. at first they didnt want to help me because they said it would take up time away from the mechanics to inspect my car, which doesnt make sense to me because thats their job and thats why i had made an appointment. they then came back and told me that I had to pay 125 dollars for them to do an inspection, since there was a chance that i wasnt going to get any work done. I agreed to the inspection and was told that what i asked for would be done including tune up. they came back to me TWO HOURS LATER saying that i needed new tires, new brakes, and new windshield wipers, which I already knew. Mentioned nothing about the engine or the condition of it. DID NOT do my tune up as i had requested and charged me to tell me things i already knew. Would not recommend getting your car serviced here. they will try to scam you and have you pay for things you dont need, whilst ignoring the reason you were there in the first place. terrible service. 0 stars. never going back there for service.My maintenance light was on and they didnt even bother to check it. absolute garbage service.
Mario is the best salesman I’ve seen here at Toyota Milton Ruben. Not all salesman will go out of their ways to get you in and out like he will. He stayed from 10-8 to help me get my friends some car. Through the bargaining and the test drive and all the steps to get the car, he was much detailed and oriented. He pulled a lot of connections to help us get a good price on our cars and insurances. He will be honest with you from the car specs and perspective wise. I am not a big toyota fan but I felt pretty safe choosing my three cars from there. That’s right, three not one, but three. All in all, I believe that if you want a good car at a good rate, all I got to say is Mario.

Buying my new 4Runner was a perfect experience, not going to lie. I shopped with Paul who works in their Chevrolet division and he did a great job. I was pleased. HOWEVER, I am here today, having my car serviced. It’s first service was done at another Toyota dealership and it was a great experience. It was ready to go in about 40 minutes. Today, I’m here at Milton Ruben Toyota to have my car serviced. I made an appointment for 12:30, even got here early. It’s now 2:05, I was supposed to be back at work by 2 and I have been told they’re still WORKING ON IT. Not done, couldn’t even tell me if they were close to done. If customers are in the waiting room waiting on their vehicles versus taking a loaner (which wasn’t an option for me, because they close before I’m off work), finish the job in a timely manner. That’s all.
I had an amazing experience with Abraham! His friendly and professional nature created such a comfortable atmosphere that I never felt overwhelmed or pressured. Idk about the new cars sales team, but the mechanics and the used cars sales teams are liars and flakes. ive been there a couple of times and only now after repeated let downs i have decided to leave a review. idk if its just a couple of team members but they are really being the place down....To add to the review with only my latest encounter, they promised a repair of my car to the finished last week. I called the week after politely asking how much longer it will be done and they put me on hold for 2 mins then hung up on me. Twice. I called a few hours later and discovered they were going to charge me triple the market price for a new part on top of service fees which I still have to pay even though my car wasnt fixed - a week after the deadline they gave me.
I’m a first time car buyer and I heard that Milton Ruben Toyota was a decent place to buy a car. I decided to look there first on my journey to find a suitable vehicle and was greeted immediately on the lot by Mario. He was very helpful, pleasant, informative, and understanding. He helped me choose the perfect car for me that also suits my financial needs. Mario was very hospitable and offered us water and snacks. We had pleasant conversations and he made sure that we were satisfied with our choice and any questions we had. First off we purchased our vehicle from the Milton Ruben dealership a little over 4 years ago. Then we took it (2008 Toyota Tundra) to have 3 things fixed: rear main seal, front passenger side CV axle, and the water pump. Water pump install was fine however the busted the differential housing when they were fixing the CV axle and they did not fully clean the area after fixing the rear main seal so oil that pooled when they did the repair continued to drip for almost 2 weeks (even after we took it back and they “cleaned” it). They did not disclose the damaged differential housing but luckily we always check repair work. When my husband pointed it out they tried to tell him “it didn’t matter” when it definitely does. I went back the next day and spoke with Colby (the service manager) again (my husband spoke with him the day prior) and he finally agreed to order a used one and put it on the truck. When I inquired about cost he informed me they would do it “at cost” and I quickly informed him that since we did not break the piece then we should pay nothing. He agreed with that so the repair would be done at no cost to us. Upon leaving the service center for a 2nd time after the housing was replaced we noticed a loud grinding metal sound and immediately took it back (now for a 3rd time). Mind you the first time we took it they quoted 4 days and then delayed it 2 more days until they gave us a rental for 4 more days. The 2nd repair was quoted same day then we received a call that it would be 5 more days (they ordered the incorrect part). So not only did they break a piece, we had to fight to get it replaced at no cost to us, and the quoted time was over doubled each time. Pick a different service center this place is underhanded and I don’t know what kind of overview they have of their mechanics but it is a joke. Still waiting on the 3rd repair now will update at the conclusion of that...

We recently bought a Toyota 4Runner from Bob Richards in NA and they were amazing. Even though we went to Milton Ruben first, we did not purchase from them because of their pushy and semi rude associates. Unfortunately due to where we live, we have to take our Toyota to Milton Ruben to be serviced and the service has gone even farther down hill. Shelby was the service associate handling my car and she was ridiculously rude. She gave me no information when I pulled up and gave her my keys and then acted as if it were the most inconvenient thing in the world when I asked her a question about my car. Will be making the drive to North Augusta to get my car serviced from now on just to avoid dealing with their employees.

Im always detailed about my reviews. The problem is being honest and genuine about certain services that are known for things. Leaving a review for a car dealership is the same as trying to convince you that the moon landing is fake. You know the truth. And you know that anyone who says otherwise is up to something. So Ill focus on the other things that I can properly review.Facility: This place is clean. Plain and simple. Its nice to know that this place cares about its hygiene. I loved his engagement with me and my wife and also his concern for ensuring us the best interaction with our interests as well as conveying what we wanted in our purchase. I was very satisfied with his customer service and will recommend anyone reading this to talk to him specifically if you want a knowledgable and kind gentlemen.Product: Its a car. Buy what looks and smells good. But go in there with a plan and knowledge. Know whats going on and ask questions about everything. A good car dealership will always tell you up front about anything you ask. Dont be afraid to ask. They cant lead you astray. Because if you feel like youre missing info, google it.Overall Ill give it a four. My reasoning is that my experience will always be remembered as trying to be sold something constantly. Some people understood that we were interested in only the particulars. And others didnt understand that attitudes are visible when a sale doesnt go through (Not you Mario). Please be wary that customer service is consistent and not only when the customer does what you want.
Ingram Jansen is everything I could ask for in a sales consultant. He is personable, friendly, relaxed, extremely knowledgeable about the product, great followup after the sale, never in a hurry in explaining about the car—and best of all for me, no high pressure tactics. I met him in July, 2018, told him what I wanted and I heard from him when the 2019’s arrived. I gave him my list of wants and he called with the exact car I had described. The salesman I dealt with was Randy. He did a fantastic job. He had a cheerful disposition and was eager to help me with choosing the vehicle I wanted. He was very personable and answered any questions I had about the car and the process. The financier I met with I believe was Scott (bald guy who likes speaking what’s on his mind). He was easy to talk to and explain all my options to me as the whole process was a new one to me. After window shopping for two weeks at night and on Sundays, I found the SUV that I was looking for at your dealership. I walked inthere this past Monday and asked for a salesman and within two minutes I was introduced to Jeff Boyleston. I told him which SUV I was interested in and he got the keys and we went out and looked at it. Then we went to his desk and he showed me different buying options which included paying in full and financing. I decided to pay in full. He explained the warranty, extended warranty, service and other things. I left to get cashiers check and insurance binder and returned 2 hours later. When I returned the SUV was cleaned up, full of gas and ready to go. After finalizing the paperwork, Jeff spent about 30 minutes with me explaining how everything worked. He told me if we had any further questions or issues that we could call him or stop by anytime. We love the car and feel like we got a great deal. Jeff did a good job with no pressure tactics and I feel like I have made a new friend.

I am impressed with the service I received from Milton Ruben in Augusta GA from Randy! He was phenomenal in all aspects of service and customer care! He approached me an I told him I was just looking, shook my hand and said “if I have any questions, his name is Randy and he would be more than willing to help.” I looked at the cars I was interested in and left. DO NOT GO TO MILTON TOYOTA!! GO TO BOB RICHARDS TOYOTA WHERE PEOPLE ARE TREATED WITH HIGH PRIORITY.Don’t worry, I’ll explain. First of all I called Milton Toyota service department on 3 occasions. Each time a machine would answer and I would be placed on hold. Each time I waited 10 minutes with no avail. I finally called there sales department and a salesperson by the name of Ingram told me just to come in.”That his service department wont turn me away”. Well that’s exactly what they did. There were 2 blonde girls there. One claiming to be the manager. They were very “cheeky” and had no care in helping me. I had to take a stand and plead with them to help me and make a future appointment for me. I explained to them that if they would have answered the phone like most opened businesses. I wouldn’t be wasting there time but most importantly mines.But God saw my troubles and stepped in. I called “Bob Richard’s Toyota” at 1:45pm. A young very nice and professional young lady named “Erica” answered the phone. Her hospitality put my mind at ease and she told me they closed at 4pm and were booked. But after I told her I just needed a regular maintenance required oil change. She told me to come in, “that they don’t turn people away”. Once there I met Erica and I was approached by Service Advisor named Brandon. Brandon was very kind and very professional.“FOLKS BOTTOM LINE IS”Milton Toyota are only interested in sales. Great place to shop and buy your vehicle. I was introduced to salesman name Landon, super nice guy, told him what I was looking for, less than an hour he had an unbelievable deal for me, this was a Monday late, told him I was off Wednesday and would be back to get it. When I arrived on Wednesday he had everything ready for me to sign and again in about an hour I was driving off the lot in a new 4Runner. Everyone is super nice, no pressure, willing to do what they can for you, you will not find a better place to make your purchase.
Went to Milton Ruben Sunday January 28th and had a very enjoyable experience co-signing on a new car for my girlfriend. It was so enjoyable that I myself came 4 days later and got myself a new car. Very bad service 6-8-2021, appointment time 3:30 p.m. It didnt matter, those with appointments are treated like walk-ins. (Staff said so over and over again.) The requests were for oil change & tire rotation along with brakes inspection bc the brakes dont engaged. [They still dont.] The service adviser ignored the request for tire rotation, and I was told brakes were fine.Then after pointing out my concerns & the terrifying experiences of not being able to stop, I was told I should bring the car in earlier in the day for a diagnosis, bc 3:30 p.m. is a bad time. WAIT, WHAT, did the braking system get inspected or not, bc by the time the car was serviced it was near closing time?! So does that means there were not enough time to do the diagnosis.[Brakes failed to engage today 2X, 6-9-21. Very frightening. ]I purchased Toyota Car Care for the car to cover oil change and tire rotation. The adviser didnt review the car history or looked at the Car Care service coupon handled to her, bc I was being charged [and the request for tire rotation was ignored].Pray for my safety until the weekend when I once again will attempt to get the braking system properly diagnosed & repaired.
Extremely poor service from the Service Department at Toyota. No one came to greet me or inquire why I was sitting in the service bay for 15min. I was advised prior to coming that they were still taking service only to be dismissively told Id need an appointment. No greetings, no attempt to book an appointment. Just rude. If they do this to existing customers, then Id hate to see what theyd provide to new customers!
My wife and I were planning on purchasing a car from the team here. Spoke with Abdullah, Shane, and Paul. Had in writing that they accepted my offer, and had it in writing that I was going to come sign for it at a specified time. Received a notification that they sold the car AFTER they accepted our offer. I guess this shows what exactly they value, and it isn’t the customer. Luckily, there are other dealers I can actually trust.

I was able to describe what i was looking for in a new car and she showed me several options based on what i described. The next thing i knew, i was driving home in my new Camry! Hello, this experience was truly one that has made me loose faith in humanity. After making a appointment for my car at 11:45 to get my cars oil changed I thought it would take at max and hour and a half. I arrived at the dealership and recived no help for 10 mins. Later a man came up to me and said help would come soon. After waiting in my car along with 4 other cars finally a man came up to me. It was obvious the appointment meant nothing because he asked what my car needed done to it. I could have just drove in without one and they would have no way of knowing. After this I was told worst casenario it would take 1:30 hours. After wating in the waiting room for 2 hours and 30 minutes I decided to ask when my car was done. Not only did they not know where my car was they had no idea how long it would take or how long it had been in. It was obvious the manager/supervisor had been gone from his station for hours. I finally was told by a very nice young man (who deserves a promotion) that my car would be 20 minutes. After 3:30 hours it finally got my oil changed and drove out. DO NOT GO HERE!

Shopping for a new car can be both exciting and exasperating. Weve all experienced the over zealous salesperson. You really cant fault them as they are just trying to make a living. We headed over to Milton Ruben Toyota and made it inside the showroom without being followed. We started looking a the model we were thinking of buying. We ignored the occasional voice volunteering to help - we werent ready. In our direct line of sight was a gentleman sitting quietly at his desk. It wasnt until he saw me trying to figure out how to fold down the back seat, did he come over to help. I had a great experience at Milton Rube on 8/18/2014. My salesman, Devin Price, was very helpful throughout the entire process. I was buying a used truck and noticed some scratches on the vehicle and some cleaning that needed to be done on the inside. He was very quick to get this taken care of for me and the truck looks and runs great. I drove 2 1/2 hours to get to this dealership, and would do the same again. Great experience overall.

I can not say enough about how wonderful my experience was at Milton Ruben in Augusta. First, I absolutely love my new Scion xB. It has everything I need and then some. But even it pales in comparison to the excellent service I received from Robert Trinidad and Linda. From the very beginning, Robert was extremely responsive. He didnt send me a form email and then call me back when he felt like it. He responded as quickly as possible through the entire process. He was constantly on the ball letting me know exactly what was going on every step of the way. Not only that, he and the staff took the time to really understand my situation and needs. They were kind and really seemed to care about getting me into a vehicle that suited my needs, likes and budget. I really feel like they had my best interests in mind and never once felt pressured. In closing, Ill just say that there are probably several dozen dealerships a lot closer to me than Augusta (2.5 hours away), but I am so pleased that I went to Milton Ruben and I do not ever see myself going anywhere else ever again. They truly EARNED a lifelong customer.

My recent experience at Milton Ruben Toyota was very positive! I had no intention at this time in buying a new car until receiving a letter from Milton Ruben offering a new 2018 Camry Le for a very modest sum and a trade in of my 2016 Camry Le. Upon entering the store I was greeted by Brackett who handled all of the questions I had on the deal. Jeremy was very courteous and patient as we discussed the proposal. He showed me the proposed car but I did not like the color so we drove across the lot to view a blue colored car that I settled on. It turned out that this car cost more since it had some extras which I liked. I thanked him for the information and left the store. Three days later I returned to the store and met with Jeremy again to finalize the deal. I was able to work with him to reduce the cost to a mutually agreed price. What I liked about Jeremy is that he was not pushy or aggressive in our dealings which I appreciated very much. Even though he was relatively new to the business he knew what was important to the customer and on details of the product that was being sold. I would strongly recommend him to other customers!

I went to Milton Ruben to look at a Toyota Tundra I saw on the Internet. I had no intention of buying a truck that day. Ryan was very nice & offered to show me any vehicle I wanted to see. He was very knowledgeable & answered all my questions. After negotiating a trade vaue on my Jeep, I called my husband & he agreed to buy the truck. He was also impressed with Ryans professionalism. We felt like Milton Rubens employees were friendly & efficient. The service department has done everything as promised in a timely manner. I had a wonderful car buying experience at Milton Ruben. During my car shopping I worked with both Abdullah and Marcus and both salesmen were pleasant to work with. They listened to my needs with a car and were not overly pushy to make a sale. In the end I got the car I was looking for at a price I was more than pleased with. Since I was new to the area I was quite pleased that they also offered suggestions ranging from restaurants to bike shops, and they made me feel much more comfortable, both buying a car and in the city of Augusta in general. While I hope I will not need to purchase a car for a good long while, if I need to I will absolutely not hesitate to return to Milton Ruben.
Jerrod was excellent and really took a lot of time to show me everything about my car and make sure it was set up right. He knew how to use all the features on the car and showed me everything I needed to know, which was really helpful because I had been driving an older car that didn’t have a lot of features. We were a little hesitant as you hear different stories about how dealerships hassle during the buying experience. William was our kind of salesperson - knowledgeable, patient, friendly, and low key yet assertive. We did not feel pressured by him which would have been a real turn off. I bought a 2018 Toyota Corolla today and had a fantastic experience. Ingram Jansen didn’t make me feel pressure down to buy, answered all my questions, and made the process extremely easy. A lot of the staff here are prior military, and me being active duty, it made me really excited to have another opportunity to work with my brothers and sisters in arms. I had Gopi for my sales person. He is very knowledgeable about all Toyota products. I definitely recommend him. I got with the finance folks and needed a better offer because I still owe money on my lease. After I said I was going to wait Charles went to get Paul and he took off almost the exact amount of what I had left to pay on my lease. My payment went up about $20 a month but Paul still saved me from putting down a lot of money to get me where I wanted my payment to be. I was blown away. I definitely recommend this dealer and the Toyota new designs look awesome and now have incredible safety features and an awesome ride not to mention the current technology. I’m 110% happy with my decision and that’s how they want you to be.
Overall not a bad place for car buying and service. However, I brought my new car in for its 5k mile service (approx 1.5 hour wait) and came away with a car that shook terribly when I reached 60mph. I had to make a second appointment and wait another 1.5 hours to get it fixed. My guess is that they rotated the tires during the first visit but didnt balance them. They ordinarily provide decent service but Im wondering how often customers have to come back for issues like that which could be averted with a little QA/QC.

My husband and I were in the market for a new car. We went through Landon Dawson, and he was AMAZING! I was in a hurry to get a new Rav4, and he made the process fast and simple. The overall experience was made special and unstressed by a great sales team who helped with friendly, calm and knowledgeable assistance throughout what is usually a grueling process. As a loyal Toyota customer, I knew I wanted to buy a Highlander so the issue was which one and how much. I recently purchased a new Toyota RAV4 here and I would definitely recommend purchasing your next vehicle here if at all possible. The salesman I had was Stephen Person and he is who you should look for or ask for when you go. He wasn’t overbearing while we looked, he gave us our time to browse before coming over, and then he was very knowledgeable about our car and answered all of our questions. He wasn’t pushy with us to where we felt forced or guilted into getting our car which was relieving compared to some of our past experiences at car dealerships. He helped us get everything set up before leaving and went above and beyond for us the entire time we were there. The rest of the staff that assisted us that day was also very nice and helpful. They all made the car buying process as easy as possible. I highly recommend giving them a visit and don’t forget to ask for Stephen Person when you’re there, you won’t regret it!
I usually never write a review unless I was unhappy with the service I received. But Mr William Jenkins was very knowledgeable and personable. He gave great advice, some things that I can use in future purchases. I felt as though I was making a purchase from a family member instead of just a salesman just trying to make his next sale. At the end of the day I felt as though I had not been taken advantage of but got the best of the deal.
I looked at what the best offers were in the area and Milton Ruben provided the best options and incentive for me and my family. Stephen Person provided several options based on the information given and explained what the best choices would be. I really appreciate his thoroughness as well as his patience (two kids and two indecisive adults) in getting us in the car that we want. The overall experience was great and when the time comes for another purchase to be made I will look for Stephen to help make that happen.

Yesterday, I purchased a 2018 Toyota RAV4 from Landon Dawson & the customer service was superior. He provided friendly, knowledgeable service with a five star rating. There was no-pressure. I didnt feel rushed and Landon earned my trust. As a woman going on the lot alone, that’s always a big concern. I had visited another dealership across the street the day before and that wasn’t the case at all. Went in for service and ended up buying a new truck! I had actually been planning on buying a new tundra soon, but their excellent offer on my trade-in, ability to offer a great price on the new truck, and overall flexibility made it a no-brainer. Very good truck buying experience. I worked with Dylan Beamer, first online, then at the dealership the same day. I had previously walked out of two different dealerships after the usual BS dealers put you through. Milton Ruben was good to work with the whole way through, and I would recommend them.At delivery of the truck the 3rd brake light was cracked, and a small section of the lens missing. I contacted my local dealer ( Jim Hudson) although the truck is only a week old, they told me to go to the dealership that sold me the truck. I did, had them look at it, then since the part would have to be ordered, I asked that they get Jim Hudson to order it. This became the biggest pain in the neck. Either the dealers cant communicate with each other or Jim Hudson just sucks. So after 2 days and no progress, I just ordered the part myself. Im pretty irritated and dont really trust the warranty process at all.

2022-03-06I so love this dealership…everyone and I mean everyone was really nice and helpful, I did not feel pressured into just getting anything and my salesman Craig Paro explained every detail of my purchase to me being that I came from a car lot where I was taken advantage of. I am truly grateful to have such a wonderful and helpful salesman. I love my new ride and everything about it…from the price to the condition of it. 2022-05-15This is my second time purchasing a vehicle from Milton Ruben Toyota. My first experience wasn’t pleasant at all. I felt rushed and pushed into buying because I didn’t know too much about the process as it was my first time buying a vehicle. They didn’t even take the time to try and help me get into what I wanted or find what I was looking for. I asked for SUVs only, and they immediately started showing me Nissan Versas, Leafs and a Chevy Spark. I ended up settling on a Jeep Renegade because I needed the car. I don’t remember the gentleman’s name, but I hope he just doesn’t work there anymore.My second experience was a completely 180. I was helped by Kendra from CDJR, JD, and Anthony. I went to trade the Jeep I ended up getting last year in, as I wasn’t satisfied with the purchase. I approached Kendra and she was immediately interested in helping me find what I wanted. I told her exactly what I wanted and she looked at what she had on the lot. She showed me my Tacoma SR5 and we test drove. I was sold! I sat down with JD and Anthony and they helped me take an in-depth look at my finances. I was hesitant to buy a new truck—they’re EXPENSIVE! But Anthony did EVERYTHING he could and put in a lot of work to make sure I got the BEST deal I possibly could. I was supposed to wait until the next day to take my truck home, but they took it in the back and got it ready so i could drive it home! I feel as if I left the lot in my new truck with the best possible deal available to me. They were kind and helpful, attentive and really took what I had to say into consideration. This experience was so much better and I thank them for all their help with this purchase!

2022-04-02We bought our RAV4 Hybrid here and the experience was great. Its a strange time to buy a car but our salesman Al was fantastic. He listened to what we wanted and when one came available he let us know, walked us through the process and always made himself available. Best car salesman I ever dealt with and I hope I have an opportunity to work with Al again. Thanks again Al, we love the car.

I have not had the best experience.Customer Service: 1/5Timeliness: 1/5Cleanliness: 5/5Cost: 1/5Quality: ???My Experience:I took my vehicle to the dealership in North Augusta, the Miracle Toyota of North Augusta two months prior to taking my vehicle to this dealership. No issues. Two months later I take it to this dealership to get my oil changed and I now need $500 worth of work on my vehicle, new brake pads, rotors etc... I decide to leave it be for half a year. I came back 5x months later, and asked about fixing the issues they found before... they had no record of my oil change OR the issues they found before. Lucky me, I kept a copy of the report they gave me! Unlucky for me, they now found MORE stuff AND its gonna cost me $1,500...***I feel like... I have this feeling in my gut that this is a shady dealership. I just dont trust this dealership.***So I relented and agreed to fix all issues with my vehicle. They said they could fix it that day, they have all the parts. Three hours later of me sitting at the dealership and they said they didnt have all the parts, but that they would have it the next day. The next day they still didnt have the parts. It took two additional days to get the parts and get my vehicle fixed, AND they werent going to tell me. I called this place MULTIPLE (like I dunno... 20 times? left 8x messages... NOT EVEN JOKING) times with no response from my Toyota Representative. I had to drive there (two separate occasions) and physically talk to him to get updates. On top of all that, I didnt even get the $25 savings for new brake pads that they were advertising when I specifically asked about it.MISC:1. I dont believe they offer military discount, based off my discussion with a person in uniform.2. They dont offer a curtesy vehicle.3. They did offer a shuttle service.Final thoughts: If I wasnt traveling across the country, I would have taken my vehicle somewhere else. I recommend you do too...

2022-07-25Multiple issues with service department. First and foremost, having to do with oil changes. We’ve used them a few times, making early morning appointments only to arrive and wait for three hours, watching walk-ins get in and out before us. Finally swore to never return. Also have had at least one service agent- a man, but can’t recall his name, be completely rude/ arrogant and condescending toward me.Well, against our better judgment, we returned for a small issue on one of our cars. We were charged $254 to have a $4 fuse replaced. What a rip off. I suppose the second issue is on us as we didn’t realize we’d be charged $250 in “diagnostic” and “labor” fees for a fuse. Either way- will not be back. Will take our money elsewhere.

2022-06-11I have lived in multiple states and towns and been serviced by at least 4 other Toyota dealerships beyond this one. This place is night and day compared to the others in regards to the service department. I always have to wait at least 15 minutes after my appointment time to even talk to anybody and their attitude is of one of that I am always inconveniencing them. I am used to talking to checking in as soon as I get in and actually having questions answered instead of being rushed. Only posting this to try and maybe get them to realize that their service is not the norm.

2022-07-14This is for the service department - my wife took our 2017 Toyota Camry(purchased from Milton Ruben) in to have an oil change and tire rotation. The heat shield over the left rear muffler was rattling around because it had come detached from the underside of the car. I told my wife to see about getting it reattached.I had driven the car with the heat shield loose for at least two weeks knowingly without an issue.The Milton Ruben tech removed the heat shield and the service coordinator told my wife the replacement was two months out and that it should be okay for short term.Now we have the car parked waiting to receive more information on the heat shield and what it could damage because I am afraid to melt something or catch the grass on fire. It was my daily driver.Im disappointed in the lack of communication and also lack of advice given the circumstances with my car.*update - I called the owner and left a message on Monday. Havent heard back yet.

2022-05-10My experience with Milton Ruben Toyota sales was single handedly the worst and unprofessional customer service experience Ive ever had. My wife and I went in to test drive, trade in our own vehicle and hopefully purchase the only Camry XSE they had on the lot. The first sales rep Ingram was wonderful to work with and answered all our concerns and questions. After our conversation with him and completing the test drive we sat down with Ingram to go over trading in and purchasing the vehicle. The price was just barely out of our comfort range and in discussing with Ingram he stated, how would you feel if we could drop the price to 40k? I told him that while it certainly helped I wanted to break under that price to feel better about the purchase. I ask if he could honor 39,500 and we would seal the deal. He said he would go talk to the sales manager and have him come over to talk to us (indicating that we could discuss the ~$500 admin fee). The sales manager came over with an immediate attitude, folded up the piece of paper that Ingram wrote 40k on and on a new piece he wrote 41, 500 and then offered the active duty toyota military promotion for ~500. When I asked why he went up a grand in price he said I dont know who told you I could do 40k I told him the sales rep he knew I was talking to wrote it and I showed him the paper. He stated I dont know who would write that as Im the sales manager and Im the only one who authorizes pricing. I told him that the previous sales rep Ingram had written that and we were going to see if they could help get it under 40. He refused to honor what was discussed previously and was incredibly confrontational to the point of complete discussion breakdown. He said we could make a deal or if we didnt like the price then we couldnt continue doing business. Already tempers were high and we left the dealership in under 10min of talking with this sales manager. As we left we observed some employees laughing and pointing at our car as they made their way to return the camry to the floor room. To add insult to Injury the sales manager came over to our vehicle as we were about to depart and said I just want to say im sorry, I told him how unprofessional he was and he repeated the same degree of confrontation we experienced inside which shows his uutter lack in sincerity. While my experience is an isolated incident that most will unlikely experience, this entire event has soured my opinion of Toyota as a whole and certainly this dealership. Im going to file a formal complaint with Toyota corporate in hopes that no one experiences this level of unprofessionalism and abysmal customer service again.

2022-06-16SERVICE DEPT IS A JOKE !!!! Every time my wife goes in for a oil change and rotation its 2-3 hrs ! Today she scheduled it for a oil change, rotation and balance before our 2000 mile round trip and they needed another hour to balance the tires ???!! It would be an extra 5 minutes per tire WHILE they were off the car. I have zero confidence they even rotated them ! This is free Toyota care ??? WHAT A JOKE
