I ordered the strawberry mojito and it was delicious! They crafted it with whole mint leaves and fresh strawberries. It was very refreshing! I didn’t order any food but overheard others comment on how great the chicken empanadas and dipping sauce were. Staff were friendly and service was excellent. I will definitely be back when visiting Savannah again.
Great place , empanadas are tasty, how ever the the young lady in pic is very rude , impatient, and not friendly. I accidentally tipped way to much( 19$ on a bill that was 20.00, and was told by HER it couldn’t be fixed. Meanwhile the other bartender came and fixed it in 20 seconds. I understand it was very busy it was Cinco de Mayo but Guest Should never feel unwelcome ,rushed or disrespected .this is the south and I know southern hospitality.
We are locals and absolutely love this place for a cold adult beverage and a small snack during our busy days enjoying our beautiful city! My favorite is the coconut mojito, best drink ever!! The staff is always fun, friendly, and happy to serve up creative craft cocktails if mojitos are not your thing! One of the best bars in Savannah!
Pricey….perhaps for some, but worth every penny. Honestly with the quality of the drink and the time put in to making each one I do not consider it pricey at all, the drinks are so much better than your run of the mill bar drinks that are the same price at other locations. This is more than a bar with great drinks, it’s an entire experience! Ian is hands down one of the funnest bartenders we’ve encountered. Locals really need to enjoy this gem more, I wish we had a place like this where we live. This will be a regular stop for all future trips to Savannah!
One of my favorite places in Savannah!! Mojitos always freshly muddled to order, and a variety of flavors. Strawberry is a favorite of mine, and is available always. 2 weekend specials we love are are Raspberry and Watermelon! Ample amounts of fruit and mint included in the drinks as well. The Empanadas are incredible as well! Flaky crust, ample filling, and the white sauce on the side is INCREDIBLE.
The best mojito I’ve ever had. Served with a large straw to allow some tasty muddled bits and pieces to come through. They had additional cocktails and mocktail monitors available as well. The chicken empanadas were fantastic. They weren’t too doughy like many can be. A size place with a secret bubbles bar (champagne drinks) in the back. The service was great. Cheers 🍻
We went here to begin a tour, Crimes and Cocktails, and got left behind even after checking in because the service was so slow. The staff was extremely rude when we asked for help. The cocktails were decent but nothing special. Probably good to find another watering hole, there are many in the area.
Ok so Miller, Jesus, Ian, Lori, Johnny, and the rest of the back of house and front of house: BIG thank you to all of you who keep this place going, and always make the extra effort to ensure every customers experience is special. Even understaffed, your dedication and commitment to Mint and to each other is not to be overlooked.Whoever is reading this, please know: I dont go here because its cute. More than half of the bars in savannah are cute. That doesnt make this place unique or special. Neither does the bar in the back. What makes this place stand out from the rest is the staff. I go here because yall kill it EVERY time. It doesnt matter who makes your drinks or who is servicing you - everything is ALWAYS on point. I choose to come here because you all are so good at what you do. Because of the relationship you foster with your customers, one time or regular. Whatever youre searching for, chances are youll find it here.Dear owner, I sure hope you take care of these folks and treat them well because they make this place what it is. Without it, its just another bar in Savannahs endless list.THANK YOU for creating what is one of my favorite places and keep on keeping on!
Go to this bar! We booked a ghost tour that started here, thank GOD, because we may have never been able to experience this place. I don’t want to give anything away so just go in and follow your heart! Also, be advised, if you are hip to the cocktail seen there is more to this location than meets the eye… Don’t be shy and ask the bartender for the private bathroom.
The mojito was awesome, and the atmosphere was fun, but it was so loud that the cashier and I had lots of difficulty communicating my order. The empanada was decent, but overall an expensive experience. It was $17 for one mojito and one small empanada. It would be great if the prices were listed on the menu.
I feel like this is the kind of place where the owner works as hard or harder than the employees. Or, perhaps, the person I thought was the employee was actually the owner/manager. Either way this is a great place that cares about their very specific craft (as far as drinks go). I had never heard the mint stems mattered in a mojito but after trying these I will be making mine differently. Fresh ingredients and good liquor make this place well worth it.
Walked in right after a tour and when I asked for the chicken empanadas. We were told they were being reserved for other tours and we had to order something else. I told her I can’t eat pork and was still served something with pork. When I pointed it out there was no attempt made to correct it. The food was good, the drinks were okay (but overpriced). The way she spoke to us was completely different than the tours. Very rude and short, and kept cutting rude looks at us. We love mojitos but decided to not go back due to the terrible service.
Did I over 3 mojitos between two visits in one day? Yes, yes I did. Do I plan on coming back tomorrow? Absolutely. The mojitos are REALLY GOOD. Probably the best Ive had. So far I have had the classic, watermelon, and raspberry (correction: Ive now had four. Add strawberry to the list). Im pretty sure there isnt a wrong choice other than not ordering a mojito. The stuff potato, empanadas, and Cuban sandwich are all delicious, but the dipping sauce is AMAZING!!I highly recommend.
The champagne bar in the back of this building is by far my new favorite spot in Savannah!! Amazing cocktails, great atmosphere (very IG friendly) and most importantly the nicest owner in the entire world. There’s nothing but good things to say about this place. I’ve never written a review for anything in my life but I feel like I have to let people know how great this place is. Do yourself a favor and check this place out you will not be disappointed!
Great vegan selection. The vegan tamale was exceptional and the coconut mint mojito is a taste bud treat. The atmosphere is unique, and its much bigger than you think.Plus they have live music every Wednesday from 5-closing.Not only that, its locally owned...Another great reason to patron the place. Look for secrets.
Best local bar to grab a drink! I loved hearing the owner’s story about her inspirational trip to Cuba and how she took that authentic experience to convert into an amazing business that Savannah didn’t even know she needed! The mint is abundant and freshly muddled in these Mojitos and the fresh cut fruit has the right balance of sweetness in the specialty Mojitos. Even the classic is just refreshing and outstanding. Not to mention the local art painted on the walls and the tropical vibe is unlike any other bar in the area. Would recommend to anyone!
We stopped in for a quick break from the Savannah heat. My husband and I have never had Mojitos before. These were soo good. Would definitely get an empanada while youre there. The servers/bartenders were so friendly and helpful. Gave great advice on what to see and where to eat in Savannah. We were given a great recommendation to try out New Realm Distilling Co for lunch.
Wholeeee sheeeeet! The mojitos are on point. The staff was SO welcoming and cool! The salsa music is playing away, as you enjoy your dink and epanada. I hear the cuban sandwich is to I kill for. The rest room stays clean and the ambiance is welcoming. Will 100% recommend to either start your night or finish off with a bang.
I wanted to love this place. We walked in and were excited because we were the only people inside at the time. For some reason our classic margaritas took over 15 minutes. The two ladies in the front were a but rude but the gentleman was amazing. A customer came in later and in all honesty she was a bit snappy saying she was in a hurry In her defense they were super slow. I guess they didnt realize they had costumers sitting there in their faces because they started talking trash about the older ladies that just left. The margarita was great at least along with the best kept secret they keep. Thank goodness for the escape room .
Best Latin American drinks in town. But the mojitos are so good. They got the classic and flavored ones. Everything is fresh, and made with real fruits. I recommend the coconut mojito. But its all subjective, all depends on what fruits you like. Also try the empanadas bites
My favorite mojito bar in Savannah! They have the BEST mojitos (passion fruit is my personal favorite) and the empanadas there are TO DIE FOR!!! You will definitely need to order more than one. A beautiful bar with amazing employees who do their best EVERY TIME. Each mojito is muddled by staff, so there are no mixes of mint leaves, these guys go all out for delicious drinks. If you’re a local, or visiting, TRY THIS BAR!!
Our family visited Mint to Be Mojito Bar during the Savannah Taste Experience First Squares Food Tour. We each had a different flavor mojito: Pineapple, Passion Fruit and Coconut. The mojitos were all made with fresh ingredients and each one had an unique and delightful taste. The empanadas tasted like my Puerto Rican grandmother’s empanadas. Crispy exterior and a flavorful beef filling, the empanadas were the best I’ve ever had from a restaurant. Not to miss is the Garlic, Cilantro and Lime Sauce that you will want to smother your empanadas in. The staff was so sweet and catered to our every need. Great place! Can’t wait to visit again.
Mint to Be is truly one of the better bars to visit in Savannah, and to continue to visit if you are a local. Locally and woman owned, this is a business one should be proud to support, and you get great drinks and foods to boot! I love their coconut mojito and empanadas, and need the time to try the rest of their menu as well!
This place is amazing! The coconut mojito is amazing and the fried potato balls are amazing. If you are vegetarian and miss crab cakes or fried seafood those potato balls will make you cry tears of happiness. I LLLOOOVVVEEE them. So simple but so good. The beast mojitos around!!!
Omg this place is awesome. A great place to grab a drink and go, but also the ambience is good. There’s art on the walls apparently from a local artist dubbed Julu. But most importantly, the mojitos were UNREAL. Every single ingredient was fresh and muddled to order. We had the coconut, watermelon, and pineapple, and all were delicious. Don’t skip out on this place if you visit Savannah!
*Mint to be Mojito*This small business is a perfect get away to relaxation & to be with friends, family or even on your own, the freshness and tropical feel of the drinks has a soft taste, 100% homemade you are able to see the Bartender making them, the owner and the staff are very welcoming, always with a smile ready and happy to see their customers, giving the best and caring service... If you are in Savannah, GA and want to have a mojito please do not hesitate; fresh-homemade- different flavors.
Out of all places that I have looked for in Savannah Ga, this place was small but packed one hell of a punch! The drinks were great! The bartenders really took care of us. The food was a nice change to what else there is in town. This place plays really good latín using as well. It’s a hell of a spot!
I visited the place with two gastronomic colleagues a day before an emergency and official quarantine in Savannah was declared in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic... Our experience was great! In addition to fresh drinks, those of us who live in Savannah deserve a space where we can disconnect after our working days. It is not only a place that invites tourists but also offers the disconnection point that locals often need. Lets support local entrepreneurs!Cheers! 🍹

2022-05-02We made a quick stop while walking around site seeing and had a bite to eat from the lunch menu. While the drinks can be a little pricey, the quality makes it worth it. Even if you dont like Mojitos, I would highly recommend stopping by and eating some yummy food.

2022-04-25I had tried two different mojitos and neither were good. They are wildly expensive, too much soda water, and no traditional sugar can. Customer servi6was good 5/5, space although small fun! But would never recommend mojitos from here
