Every single time I have been to Monkey Joes, I have been thrilled with our experience! It’s always been clean, the employees have always been polite, and the food has always been great! After talking to the owner, I was even more impressed. She genuinely cares about her business and regularly donates to the community so even more children in the area can enjoy Monkey Joes. She also truly cares about her employees. I would be more than happy to work for her anytime and will continue to spend my money there on a regular basis!
Looking over these reviews deciding whether or not I should have a birthday party for my daughter or not and its going to be an extreme NO. I cant believe how rude and disrespectful these responses are from their so called owner. I mean I understand all businesses have issues now a days & lots of people have been sick but that should never be taken out on customers. If I was the owner I would simply apologize and fix the issue with out making any rude or disrespectful excuses. I mean come on now at the end of the day whatever money these people have spent goes in your pockets. You should be happy these people dont go to social media, the news or better yet an attorney. Do better treat people better kindness and respect goes along way.
We took our two kids (5 years old and 6 months old) for spring break since it was raining. Bethany was amazing. She helped us sign waivers and get wrist bands. After playing she met us at the prize counter and helped our little boy spend his 265 tickets. He told her he also wanted a slushie, so she met us over at the food counter and let him decide what color, how big and even got him a cool straw. Her customer service was above and beyond. Thanks to her, we will definitely be back!! Hes been struggling with being a big brother and sister taking all the attention but today Bethany made everything about him. 💙 Now I have a 5 year old on cloud nine. Thank you Bethany.
This place is so great for your kid’s to play at the only issue is how they work letting people in and out they wont allow you to step out without bringing your children if you are the only adult like we leave them there to be babysat and we can relax?? lol anyways the food is great the tenders are the best 😉 also if your child is 4 they can get in for 4$ on tuesday but cant go in the toddler area which is weird to me but hey yall do yall i guess 🤷🏻♀️
We went many times at this place because no other place for kids around. The place is kinda ok , the employees are rude and disrespectful, the waiting time to get in and for food is long. The big concern for me are some visitors I always see here. OMG their kids are totally crazy and have no good manners, andrae aggressive. They run and jump around small kids like wild and parents dont care about and dont look after them. Is that the issue with people in this area? There need to be an employer to look around and control everything if parents dont care about the kids. But I think employees are more indifferent then parents. ,,Crazy place,, with bad service.Dont lose your time and money going here.P:S. Dont lose your time here go fix you place issues. You are rood and your place is dirty and dangerous for our kids with bad costumer service. We visited this place 5 time, every time giving you a chance but everytime service was worse, disrespectful and bad service. You are a real mess.
I had my sons 8th birthday here and it turned out wonderful. Our hostest was top notch! The employees are group of nice young adults that are full of bubbly energy, super friendly, they all are great with kids and genuinely seem to enjoy there job. Hats off to management be for not only making it a great place for customers but its obvious that they maintain a great work environment for this wonderful group of employees.
Found this place by searching Google maps for an indoor play ground. This place was great. Two large inflatable slides that my kids loved, an inflatable jumping area and then a big jungle gym playing adventure area. Lots of places for adults to sit and to can even bring your own socks so you dont have to buy the ones there like you do at lots of other places. On Tuesdays its only $4 each for kids 4 and under instead of the usual $9.99. so its a great deal for unlimited play time there.
Im not recommend this place. Be aware, this is a danger place for kids. The smell inside is horrible, is not clean, costumers service is rude and unprofessional. Im wondering how a place for kids can be so unsafe, so many safety problems in here. They need a serious inspection for shure.Update: The way you respond at all coments here shows that you are unprofessional, rude and bad costumer service. Better go fix all the issues you have and fix all need to be fixed. I already filled a report for this place, wait for inspection to come. Good luck.
Since we live near by so I have been bringing my daughter quite often. My biggest concern is cleanliness, most of the time this place were lots of trash behind tand inside play area especially weekend. However food is awesome for kids and adult. Im not sure if there is lack of staff or management does not care for cleanliness.
This was our first time here and the kids love it! They have bouncy areas, obstacle bounce house, an area for toddlers and a game area to win tokens. Downloading the app for the first time gives you one free admission 😁. The adults are free and children are $10.00. You can buy game cards to earn the tokens on and the staff are continuously walking around to ensure everyone is playing correctly. The kids can not wait to go back and this is so so much better than Chuck E Cheese!
Came here a few times but I figured Id leave a review. The employee Jazzalyn(spelling?) Went above and beyond for my daughter a few times. I appreciated her attention to the little ones running around! She is a phenomenal employee! Victor also came and checked on our table multiple times during out visit. He was friendly!
Took our great granddaughter and her mommy. She had a blast. It was so fun watching her. The kids that worked there was great. Parents wish I could say the same. We saw one family steal their kid 2 stuff monkeys one drop f bombs with kids all around. I just wish the parents would respect what is there for the kids. Besides a few parents it was great.
Our granddaughter’s birthday party was a big disappointment. We had to wait outside in the cold with 8 small kids. We weren’t allowed inside for 25 minutes after our appointment was supposed to be but they made sure to promptly clear us out at the time it was supposed to end. There was no ice at all. This seems to be a common thing at this location. We were also moved from one room to another so our guests were going to the wrong room. It was quite the disaster. I don’t recommend this for a party. The only positive thing is the kids enjoyed the games and bouncy stuff.
The place itself is nice but the rude customer service is just what kills it all. The lady at the front was snobby, we had to wait for an hour for our food and when we asked about it the lady had an attitude. They forgot some of our sauce and charged us again when we brought it up. Its a fun place as long as you dont have to deal with any of the staff. The response to this review is my point proven exactly. There were people who ordered the exact same as us after us and still got it before us.
They are good people and the one in the yellow whos 13 years old is in my classand the one in the blue is the one in the yellow brother whos 12 years old the one in the yellow is name cortez rashad white jr. and the one in the blue is name is name cortavious deshun white and the one in the yellow is my bae
As my daughter said Best Day Ever! Her 8th Birthday party was held here in the Green Room and I think all the kids had a great time. The adults even shot a few hoops and played games. Refills were Free Yayy! I think Monkey Jane could have had a bit more energy but overall the kids were still in aww and ready for pics. The young man who served everyone did an awesome job from beginning to end.
I brought my two toddlers in to play tonight …. I arrived at 6:20pm …. I fill out waivers and such which take a few mins …. My girls proceeds to go play but 15 mins later they announce over the PA system that they will be closing in 15 mins when the door clearly states they close at 8pm so I went back to the counter and asked why would they allow me to pay full price or enter at all knowing that they are closing within minutes …. The clerk only told me she can’t refund me …. What a joke of an establishment…. I’d love to speak with an owner and see if they stand by such foul play …. As of now we won’t be returning ever again … thanks for ruining promised play time for my little ones.
We online booked a birthday party for my son. We booked it for 16 kids, and were told the price would include pizza and drinks for the amount of kids. Someone called me two days before the party to confirm and to ask what type of pizza I wanted and what type of drink. When we arrived, the host asked me the same questions that I was asked on the confirmation call I’d received two days before the party and if I would like to buy an additional pizza. I was confused because I thought the total of nearly $300 included enough pizza for each of the 16 kids, but the host informed me that the pizza was only 8 slices, so if I wanted more than that I would need to purchase an additional pizza. The room was so small, it was so loud, and I couldn’t hear the party host at all. It was extremely chaotic and disorganized, it did not run smoothly and it definitely was not worth nearly $300. The purpose of booking a party package is so that all the plates, napkins, drinks, pizza etc. would be in the room and set up for it to run smoothly. The host was not helpful and made the party more chaotic. In the future, plates, napkins, and enough plasticware should be available for all the kids/attendees. Simply putting the food on the plates and then setting it on the tables rather than waiting for small toddlers to all sit down and bring the food to them would be simpler. Toddlers cannot take off their own cup lids for the cup to be refilled, they take longer than 10 minutes to eat piping hot pizza before the host tells me she is going to move on to the next thing, I need more than a plastic fork to cut up their food, they most likely will not sit still so waiting for everyone to be seated before food is brought to them is not helpful. Having enough supplies in the room at the ready rather than asking the birthday guests’ parents several questions about who plans to eat, and then having to leave the room to get supplies is not efficient. I was not impressed with Monkey Joes party hosting abilities at all, especially not for screaming toddlers and their parents, who paid quite a bit to have a more convenient party package that should’ve included more.
I live in Kentucky, and when I visit my kids/grandchildren in Warner Robins, we take the children here for some fun times and energy exertion ! My 11 yr old grandson still likes going to Monkey Joes occasionally and my 2 year old granddaughter loves going to Monkey Joes! As she is beginning to talk, she actually tells Mommy and Daddy that she wants to go to Monkey Joes almost every day ! Ofcourse, she doesnt articulate the words yet, but she lets you know what she is saying!I think it would be awesome if Kentucky had a Monkey Joes ! We have similar places, but they arent as fun for the kids. We do not have a place that is as organized, diverse in activities, and reasonably priced as Monkey Joes is.I especially appreciate the security system Monkey Joes has with wrist bands and making sure no child goes out the door with anyone except who they came in with! Identifying the child with the adult is imperative to Monkey Joes. They also are keeping Monkey Joes disinfected and clean.
My younger kids love this place. They have adequate staff walking around to ensure things run smoothly. The food is pretty decent and the prices aren’t outrageous. The only recommendations I’d make are to get rid of the arcade and put up more inflatables dedicated towards smaller children. And also another area for children ages 4-6 that they can play similar to the toddler area since that is only for children under 3 and some kids over 3 still aren’t quite ready for the inflatables yet.
Rude is an understatement! Need to retrain staff to be professional and courteous! Very poor representation of any business. Unclean, patronizing, and not worth the money. Parties during general play time without regulated attendance. Staff too worried about the wrong things instead of positive experience for kids - which is what Monkey Joes was made for.
Switched our party room without informing us.Took 30 min off our room time BECAUSE THEY WERE LATE dealing with other kids (whom weren’t invited).Found hair in the pizza.Rushed us thru the whole pizza , cake and presents. The kids enjoyed it but the parents know what really happened.
The staff are all very young and polite. Definitely eat before you come unless you want to spend $30 for a snack. Most parents pay zero attention to their kids here, so keep a close watch on younger kids so they dont get hurt. It takes about $20 for two kids to play. Bring your own socks.
Assist manager alexis was extremely rude in fornt of my kids, and was disrespecting family members by talking about them at the door and main desk for everyone to hear. Then got into it with my with. Horrible management team and not easily reportable. Also have video of incident wish video upload was possible here.
We had a great experience for our daughters birthday party. Jacob and Anna, our party host and hostess, were super friendly and helpful. The food was delicious and the whole experience was wonderful. My daughter and her friends had a blast!! My son loved the new toddler area and enjoyed the pirate bouncy very much. My husband and I even had a friendly basketball competition in the arcade area. Fun for everyone!!
My son is 1 year and 8 months old. They have a play area with toys for the toddlers. I think my child needs to be 2.5-3 to really enjoy the bounce house. They had a carousel ride that he really loved and he got a chance to make some new friends. The staff was very friendly, helpful, and attentive. Plus it was only $5.38 (+ $0.75 each round on the carousel and $2 for our soda) to get out the house and enjoy ourselves. Not bad!
I miss this place so much! Before I remarried, I was a single widowed mom, and this was my favorite place to take my daughter to bond. We always had so much fun and we made many fond memories. I always appreciated how kind the staff was, because many times we came, I was in a rough spot and needed a positive outlet. We have since moved, and our local bounce house in our new town doesnt come close to Monkey Joes! But, every time we have come back to visit family, we make it a point to come back to Monkey Joes at least once.
We always have the best time and the girls loved their birthday party here!!!Our party planner was super helpful, even going so far as to put together the cupcake stands! It was amazing how dedicated everyone was. There was another child there who was being very rude to our kids, and an employee kept an eye out for us so we could enjoy our party guests. We will definitely keep going back!
Very family oriented. We went to MonkeyJoes with a few friends and their children. As parents we really enjoyed ourselves and our boys ran around and we felt that they were safe as they played. The facility was well equipped with enough games and activities. We stayed for about 2.5 hours and enjoyed the food during our school break last week. we will be going back. Great place for kids!
Nice place for a kids party but a little pricey! Went here for my 4 year old nieces party. She had a blast! They have hotdogs, pizza, cheese sauce & chili for fries or to put in your hotdogs! They have icees, sodas, sweet tea, & pretzels! They have a freezer with a variety ice-cream in it. There was a pizza served at the party & some ordered chicken fingers. Monkey joes didn’t use to have such a variety of food so that’s def a plus for adults as well as kids! All in all good environment, clean restrooms! Enjoy! Wonderful place for parents to take a load off from the work, they have chairs bar stools & even massage chairs that you can sit & watch your kids play in. They also have some arkade games for kids to play as well as a ticket center with prizes & candy!
We were there on a special night for elementary school students that completed an assignment for school. It was very busy with a long line out the door. I would suggest filling out the online waiver before going in or else you will hold up others filling it out as a walk-in person. They do have about 6 kiosks there that can move the line faster. It was a great place for all ages and prices were great for a family of 6. Would recommend. Friendly staff and there is food available.
Fun with a variety of options. This was our first time going and I was very pleased with the high quality customer service as well as the variety of options for children of all sizes and interests: arcade games, bouncy houses, maze like obstacle course, tot area. We were there for a birthday party and the room, attendants and food options were perfect for a birthday gathering.
My sons love this place! It is always super clean and the staff are attentive for the most part. I feel safe even if one of my sons gets out of eyesight because there is a staff member at the door who checks bands and ID numbers. Only constructive criticism is that there be a healthy food option, a simple sandwich or maybe allow outside snacks with purchase of drink etc.
This place has always been great but the renovation has taken it to a NEW LEVEL! My kids love all the new games and jungle gym. I really love how my youngest now has her own place to play away from the big kids. Looking forward to this summer when we can go more often.
I celebrated my sons 5th birthday here today and we had a great time. Our party host was Ashley and she was AMAZING!! Very professional and for the first time I sat back and didn’t have to do anything. She did it all plus more. I even told her manager how amazing she was. The kids had a blast and we will definitely be returning!
Update 1/18/20Verner is a really good party attendant. I would recommend him to others.Absolutely love this place. My little boy comes all the time! Next year for the Easter egg hunt I would just suggest selling tickets with specific times for different age groups. Pretty sure the maximum limit was exceeded to say the least. I think tickets and different times would organize it up a little better for large head count activities. Other than that it was a great activity for younger kids! They always do good activities for a lot of different occasions throughout the year.
I usually dont mind taking my kid to Monkey Joes for an afternoon of letting off some steam, but having a birthday party there was almost a nightmare. The staff and management tried to tell my sister that her child couldnt bring in bottled water (shes a diabetic). Our party host Jordan, however, was absolutely fantastic and understanding. A group of the kids coming didnt show up and he helped keep the experience upbeat. I did have trouble getting the extra cards for the arcade that were left over.
My nephew had his birthday party here and it was incredible. The staff over the party itself was so on top of everything and incredibly friendly. I love the way they incorporated the tokens and tickets for the games. The tickets load directly to your card that you use for tokens as well. No more lugging around, trying to keep up with tickets while youre playing games. Id definitely recommend a birthday party here, if not just taking your kid for a nice suprise
If you can survive the noise, you can have hours of entertainment on a rainy day. There are 3 giant inflatables with plenty of slides and bouncing opportunities. There is also a large indoor playground suitable for kids 3 or 4 and up. There is a large toddler area as well. We didnt try the food and we didnt spend money on games. This is definitely not the place for kids with sensory sensitivities due to the loud noise and bright lights.
Monkey Joes is my kids favorite since theyre babies. and theyll havent renovate this place we love it. But now theyre renovate seems a lot to change in rules. Isnt allowed to bring snacks or water ..hope also they renovate the bathroom also to be more neat. But everything is okay for kids to play.
I take my grandkids here all the time. The staff are always so friendly and helpful. They always go the extra mile to make sure everyone is having a great time. The food is great and priced well. The arcade games are reasonably priced as well! .75 to a $1 per game is very reasonable! Great job Monkey Joes on the updates! We LOVE it!
A little expensive. If you go on a day off it will be crazy and chaotic. I have four kids and its stressful to keep track of them on busy days. There are many giant inflatables to play on. An arcade area. A toddler area that is gated but not enclosed and a center area with giant TVs, tables and chairs for the adults. It seems decently clean. My kids love it... That being said be prepared for injuries. They have a liability release for a reason! My three year old ran to the inflatable slide before taking her shoes off and broke her tibia. Make sure your kids shoes are off, they get caught on the material. Also wear long pants as sliding can cause burns or rashes on skin.
I came here two weekends ago for my sons first birthday and my experience was amazing. The staff was very professional and friendly. Also the party host I had was the best ever. I hate I do not remember her name. She was very organized, patient, and did a great job hosting the party. She also was very helpful in regards to setting up the cake, goody bags, and the extra things that I brought for guest. Thanks monkey joes for the great experience!
The owner Natasha is a racist! Took my 18 month old daughter there to enjoy herself. After ordering food and being given the wrong drink my sister asked the cashier/owner to exchange it for the flavor we wanted. The owner became verbally combative, insisting that wed been given the drinks we ordered. My sister apologized for any confusion and asked again for the juice option, instead of the soda. The owner did so very reluctantly. My sister asked if there was some sort of problem and the owner replies you people always cause problems. My sister walked away and returned to our table. At this point I still had no idea as to what had happened because my sister was off speaking privately with the owner. However, within seconds the owner approaches our table with aggressive body language, in the presence of my daughter, begins talking in an unprofessionally loud voice and said that our food was going in a to go box and we needed to leave.I was absolutely flabbergasted, seeing that I hadnt heard a word at this point.First of all who are you people? The other mothers and aunts in here with their children??? Or just the other BLACK mothers and aunts in here with their children. This was our first time there. We had just purchased along with our nachos, fries, chicken, and drinks a game card for the arcade games.I had no desire to stay after the treatment we recieved and told Natasha to keep her to-go box... Just refund my money. Her reply oh no youre eating that. So Im not refunding itYes, we were eating, laughing, and enjoying ourselves, until... You walked over here and demanded that we put our food in a box and go.Needless to say weve already contacted the corporate office. Hopefully they can fix this issue.
We just returned home after deciding to spend a few hours there today. When we arrived we were immediately told that two elementary schools had booked their field trips there for the day and were asked if we still wanted to come in before we paid our money. We decided to stay anyway. My little one decided to stay in the toddler zone at first but then she got brave enough to try the big bounce house slides. Monkey Joes will allow toddlers to go on them as long as theyre with an adult. Theres also people dressed as referees that make sure the little ones can take all the time they need climbing up the slides without the big kids running over them. It was great! The older kids got annoyed but thats okay. My toddler truly had a blast and never wanted to leave. Thanks Monkey Joes!
Celebrated my sons 3rd birthday with party host Kayla and I can’t say enough good things about the whole experience! The guests were so impressed- a few others were already asking how to book a party. Kids were very entertained, food was good and everyone was exhausted when we left. Thank you Kayla, Monkey Joe himself & the entire staff for the perfect birthday!
This place is awesome on so many levels. Its fun, safe, clean, and very affordable. The staff go above and beyond to make sure the kids have a fun and safe time. My daughter loves the big pink monkey and squeals with delight everytime she comes out to play with the kids.
Went by tonight 04 August 2021. They are open for business. When they are open, it is strep throat Central the pediatrician asked us to stop taking our grandchildren and other children to monkey Joes because it is the cause of their chronic strep throat. After we stop going no more strep throats.
These Negative reviews are so funny. One is mad because they won’t let you leave your kids unattended. That’s a plus to most parents, I don’t want kids running around unattended either.Another is mad because of video games. I bet kids like them better than 20 jump houses? Plus aren’t the 3 they have PLUS the rope course/climbing wall area enough already?Another doesn’t like paying for extras inside. Well then Don’t???? Seems simple enough. The best one is about the owner/manager being racist. 100.00 says this lady does more for kids in this community than most others will do in a lifetime.Lastly, we enjoy the place immensely. Our kids (all 5) absolutely enjoy themselves every time. We are planning a birthday party as we speak. So, if you are here trying to read reviews before going, don’t listen to the negatives here. Go try it yourself. But know this, the owner/manager doesn’t take bad attitudes and complaints and those trying to cause issues. And that’s one of the reasons we like the place. She runs a tight ship.
We have been going to Monkey Joes for 10 years. I loved the way it was 10 years ago when my oldest was little. I took my youngest a few months ago and they have added so many things that it is now a zoo as opposed to a semi relaxing place to play. I am not a fan of all the arcade games. . . .we spend enough money to get in that I dont like that so many things inside costs money. It takes the fun out of it. I do like the new playground that was added. The security is still really high which I appreciate.
Very pricey for only 3 bounce options. More seating space than bouncers. Also, the party options do not include pitchers of drinks, so the staff has to run back and forth with the kids drink cups, probably mixing them up in the process...just no thank you. My son loved it, however, not enough bang for buck.
Really unique location. Wall to wall bouncers and a really nice concession stand with lots of treats. The place is quite large and very well staffed. We have been on weekdays and the weekend, but I definitely recommend going weekday. Looking forward to going back during spring break!
My stepson enjoyed himself thoroughly as any kid would. They have a great arcade and the staff is friendly YET for a place that tells you to order your tickets on a machine they give you no help or explanation with, I wanted to pay in 2 forms of payment because I didnt have enough cash and the manager refused to give me a $3 credit on my game card because I apparently didnt load my card properly and even though I put a $20 credit on the card she would not honor it to give me my 32 bonus points therefore I was extremely pissed and unhappy! Will I ever go back?? Who knows!!
Great place to take the kids. Nice and cool. Wall to wall inflatables. Super friendly staff and good food. This is the only place in town where the staff will play and interact with the kids. I have a 9 month old and a 4 year old. I cant really get up and run around after the 4 year old, but thats no issue here. I can always count on the staff to play with the 4 year old while I take care of the baby!
The kids had a great time. We went during a time when 2 birthday parties were happening so it was a bit crowded and it took awhile to get our pizza buying the kids had fun. I really appreciated the bounce house monitors. They seemed to be really attentive and responded quickly to crying kids.
This location is amazing! We had my daughter’s 8th birthday party here. The staff is super friendly and super helpful. Our party host Kayla was super attentive, and took very good care of our party guests. We will be returning for play and parties very soon and very often.
We love Monkey Joes!! Such a fun place for our toddler to burn off some energy and the huge improved toddler area is such a blessing for this area. However there are also a lot of new pay as you go attractions and thats a little less awesome for parents to navigate with their children ;) But we love Monkey Joes and will continue to use it for the years to come.
January 18,2020 was our first time going to monkey joes. My child was soooo excited ready to go have fun. However, that did not happen they only had 2 card dispenser only one worked. We try to get a card it says that it is out employee after employee said they couldn’t help that they will get the manager. We waited 30 minutes still no manager employees just looking lost. We will not be returning worst experience ever. Multiple customers just waiting to get a card or refill a card they already have just crazy 30 minutes of waiting for nothing.
I have been taking my kids to this Monkey Joes for 6.5 years. The recent changes are horrible. Most of the bounces are gone. Instead there are pay to play arcade games. They even removed the water fountain! The food and drinks are way over priced and not very good. This used to a great place to bring your family. Dont think well come back.
I have always loved coming to Monkey Joes as a child, and now I am able to bring the children I babysit. I have always been pleased with the quality of service and the general atmosphere; however, this last time I went I had some concerns. I will not go into specific details of the scenario, but a child I was babysitting cut his foot really badly (enough to need stitches) while on the premises. The management was extremely helpful and very apologetic about what had happened. What occured was a freak accident. My only concern was the employee I asked to help did not seem to know what to do in an emergency situation, and offered little to no help. I was also very concerned with the lack of appropriate First Aid Kit supplies. I was only given Bactine Spray, Neosporin, and Band-Aids, and was told that was all they had. That really concerns me, since it is a place for children. I would strongly suggest to Monkey Joes to have more First Aid supplies available, and have more training for staff on First Aid protocol. Other than that, our experience was great! We will definitely be coming back to Monkey Joes.
Very disappointed when I took my grandchildren ages 2 and 3 to Monkey Joes on a Saturday. I understand birthday parties and events are usually scheduled during that time because of people being off work. What upset me was that the staff allows 13-14 year olds to play inside the small kids areas. I witnessed several boys 58 or taller in height playing with these 2-5 year-olds jumping around bumping into them. Its bad enough inside one of those bouncy play areas for the small kids to bump into each other. But to have large boys running in and out is another thing. If a large kid fell on one of those small children it could injure them badly. I brought this to the attention of the manager that was on duty at the time and several staff workers. They said there was nothing they could do about it, that it was allowed if they bought their ticket. I told the manager that that was unacceptable and if there was an injury what would they do about it? She basically shrugged her shoulders as in I dont know attitude. Im personally not taking my children back there again because its not supervised properly.
We went for a family members party. My daughter just turned 13 less than a month ago. She was not allowed to play with her cousins. I left my smallest because my daughter was very upset. Was told she could play video games that takes money. The bad thing is my daughter is smaller than some 10 years old. Shes not big. They should have bigger stuff for 13 14 maybe 15 that is not for smaller children. The world pound exercise for the kids but doesnt have anything like this 4 them.
I like this monkey Joes, I really like the way they have revamped it. There are less bouncys than before, but they have added more arcade games which is cool. They really elevated the climbing area and toddler area. I like the addition of more TVs and seating area. The food is very fairly priced although I really really wish there were more healthy options like fresh fruit, grilled chicken (like nuggets, strips or sandwhich options) and some healthier choices especially since we are not able to bring in our own food (which is why I frequent party play grounds 2 times more often , even tho monkey Joes is less than 2 miles from me). The kids like it tho!
We love Monkey Joes the manager is so sweet and makes sure every experience is great. All of the employees are so courteous and amazing with kids. The food is always tasty and the kids always have a great time. We love that they do events throughout the year and try to go to all of them! (Staycation, halloween party, easter egg hunt etc.) If you ever need something to do with your kids definitely hit up Monkey Joes its a gem in Middle Georgia!
I give this place a -0. It was horrible. We went there for my nephews birthday. My daughter is 6 yrs old and autistic, she likes to play more with the toddler toys than she does with the bigger things. She went in to play in the toddler zone, they werent nice what so ever, instead of coming to a parent in which case both me and her father were there with her,the girl went up to my daughter and told her to get out because she is too old. After we told her and constantly told her our daughter is autistic this is where she feels more comfortable she still told her to get out. My daughter shut down and hid under one of the toys in the toddler area because the girl was not so nice. It took us nearly 20 mins to get her our from under the toy. Next my oldest son who is 2 weeks shy of being 18 went on one of the bouncy houses with my daughter after he was told was ok,was rudely told to get down by another girl that works there. We went to management which I can tell you a million things I dont like about her and how she handled the situation we presented to her about my daughter. BUT according to what she says there insurance only covers the adults or teenagers that go on the bouncy houses with the little ones, the little kids are not covered by their insurance. So if my daughter gets hurt won their faulty playsets, their is no insurance to cover her or anything that happens to her. My breakdown of this place is:This is not a place for kids with special needs, they proved to me that they have no patience nor do they care about kids with special needs.Management is horribleStaff is rude and do not care about other peoples feeling. From what we learned they showed favoritism towards kids they knew.I WILL NEVER GO TO THIS PLACE EVER AGAIN!
After so many visits at MJ it is only now that I will comment. We started going there when my grandson was 3yrs.old enjoyed everything most especially the Toddler play area because of the differentshapes of soft geometric shapes, he loves putting and stacking them together. He turned 4 last month. Today he started playing in his favorite play area I was told he no longer allowed there. He started to cry have a meltdown. I told the staff he just turned 4 I was hoping she will make a consideration this time. She just said he is already 4 he cant play there. I dont want to make a scene there my husband picked up our grandson for he was crying and loud we were out of there so quick and not to be back again. I am posting this to let others to beware whenas soon as their 3yrs.old turned 4 they can not play in that area. His next bday will not be there as planned.
The place is clean and the kids have a great time. The food is not good at all. The nuggets were disgusting and the pizza is not good either. Been to 3 birthday parties in the last week and the kids wouldn’t even eat the pizza. They should go back to getting the pizza from Marcos next door to them.
Birthday party was very overpriced with no special treatment at all. I had to wait in line to pay my $300 tab then they would not honor the coupon they sent to my email. I asked when I booked the party about the coupon and was told it would be applied at checkout. When I paid the bill all they said was “sorry”. I’m not a happy customer at all! They seriously need to work on customer relations. I’m not going back.
My kids love this place, ages 9,6,4 and 1. Our first experience was last January about a week before I started chemo & we were the only ones their on a week night,my sister joined us too & watched the baby while i got to have a blast with my kids!! Ill never forget the fun we had that night.Thank you Monkey Joes manager!
We have been coming all week for the spring break Staycation and it is absolutely amazing. My daughter is already asking if we can do it again next year. Seriously she talks more about this than going to the zoo or to the fair. I love the short classes, so far the volcano has been the best. We had to go home and do it again smile emoticon:-) . Thanks Monkey Joes!
EDIT: New Owners since October. The place looks a lot better: the ventilation/air conditioning issues have been corrected; the place is clean and maintained; there are new stations (including a massive pirate ship!). If you have been here before I strongly recommend giving them a second chance. And if you have any issues dont hesitate to speak to the owners - they are eager to make their place the best.
If I could give it zero I would. The most unprofessional party experience I’ve ever had for my children. Management was rude and lied about what to expect in the party package. You would think after giving them nearly $300 for a party I would be treated better. Very disappointed and highly recommend seeking out your party needs elsewhere.
Kids love it but as far as the adults bringing your kids hoping to keep them entertained for a couple hours don’t go alone you MUST stay in the building the whole time you are there you can not even “run” to your car to get something without taking them with you and there is NO adult quiet space to get away from the noise we will NOT be going back again. It’s not like I was trying to leave my kids here I just wanted to get my noise canceling headphones from the car...
It has been years since Ive been to monkey joes and a lot has changed. Theyve taken away many inflatables and replaced them with arcade games that arent available with the wristband (think rigbys). They used to have a few toddler bouncers, but not anymore. Now they only have a toddler play area. What I loved about monkey joes was the pay one price and play option, but now it breaks the bank like everywhere else. I probably will not visit again. If I have to pay for arcade games then Ill go to arcade better arcade. Other than that the place was clean and staff members were friendly.
This place is amazing, what a wonderful experience from the beautiful atmosphere to the amazingly welcoming staff!!! The staffs are very professional and down to earth. I just loved loved loved the experience that my niece and her friends had. They left feeling confident and very happy! :)
If you want you kid to come here and get trampled by 16 year olds then Id highly recommend it. But if you actually care about the well being of your kid then find somewhere else. Its horrendously understaffed and there is no monitoring of the slides or making sure that almost fully grown kids are knocking over 2 year olds.
I was taking my special needs daughter here regularly, but this past weekend she was harassed and discriminated against by the manager, Tynesha Robinson. We were told our daughter, who turned 4 a few months ago, wasnt allowed in the toddler area. She is physically and mentally disabled due to hydrocephalus and cannot do what others her age can. Not to mention she was the ONLY CHILD in the toddler area.
Just left from monkey joes where the staff and manager had a problem allowing me to come in.My son was on his way with his dadI was told that I could not come in at all without my son.The manager did not address me. Staff was unorganized and confused. I heard about some racism here. I thought it was just a rumor. I wasn’t combative at all not my personality but the manager did not want to come and speak to me. It was weird and scetchy for sure
Pro-tip: Eat before you go. Monkey Joes is just a room with three large inflatables, the most dangerously placed seating for kids to be playing around, a jungle gym, and a food bar full of regretful choices. I assume the employees must receive a daily stipend of cocaine because I have no idea how they stay so positive and engaged in this hectic, claustrophobic animal farm. Kids love it, but its a germ cesspool, theyll usually get sick with some infectious disease afterwards despite hand washing and baths immediately after. Whatre you up to going to do? Spend 5x as much money to go to Rigbys? Monkey Joes every time.
After my family member expressed discontent in a review here on Google, she and her child were asked to leave by the manager, who then also argued with her on the review. This is unacceptable. Any company has a right to not service customers, but if you want customers, you need to be able to accept criticism, especially when it is constructive and not inflamatory. (i.e. No foul language or angry speech)
I generally bring my son to this place 1-3 times a month or my wife or mother bring him cause he has a great time but our last visit was bad I was out of town and my wife and mother took him up there and he left their facility with scratches that drew blood and a black eye my wife spoke to a manager and they discussed somethings and I went the next day only to have the manager be very rude and defensive when I made the comment that they had more referees on the floor than Ive ever seen before I made it a point to say that I wasnt there to get any free things or money I wanted to share some ideas I had to help their employees identify children that are too big to play on their inflatables or playground area she was instantly aggresive towards me and said that they have everything done right and they are not wrong
It use to be like a fun place with no arcad games and People would take a break from there phones now half of it is a arcad and a resturant there is only like 4 inflatibuls there use to be like 10 they are worried about how the others places are they forgot monky joe,s is a diffrent then the others places my opinión

2022-03-26We LOVE this place as well as the owner and staff. Perfect place for a birthday party as you can see from the picture below of my 4 year olds face. So much fun had by all the kids at the party. Great memories are always made here. Highly recommend. Even my now 13 year old can tell you of fun times and parties he had here!!!

2021-12-21I wouldn’t recommend for toddlers at all. I don’t expect everything to be perfect or spotless because it’s a place for kids but there are so many safety hazards from exposed equipment, cords, outlets, choking hazards all over the place and food in the floor, it doesn’t look as if it’s cleaned regularly. My son found every hazard in the hour we were there. Parents don’t watch their children and employees are only monitoring front desk. The toddler are is small with a padded floor, some soft blocks and some harder climbing blocks. There are no bounce houses for toddlers. The older kids take over the toddler area, running, jumping, rolling in and throwing blocks. Older kids will try to pick up your toddlers in the toddler area. It’s cheap but not very safe for toddlers especially without parental or employee supervision.

2022-03-18This place is GREAT! My kids had so much fun and exerted so much energy that they crashed when we got home. They keep asking when we can go again. I love how this environment brought out my introverted daughters wild side. She was footloose and fancy free. I was really surprised that they actually had good food. I can not wait for another play date at Monkey Joes.

2022-03-27Lots of fun for all ages! Its relatively cheap to get in and keeps children entertained for hours. Food is pricey but not unreasonable.

2022-03-17This place is amazing and my entire family had an amazing time! This really nice woman named Natasha went above and beyond to make sure that we had fun. It turns out that shes the owner. We will have to make this one of regular spots. Its rare that we can all enjoy the same place and a fun time is had by the adults, teens, and toddlers.

2022-03-17My kids love going here when we visit family and I love the massage chairs while my kids are playing ( they are old enough to play alone) .The staff is very hands on and play with the kids . Not sure where some of these crazy reviews come from. Everytime we are there the staff is constantly wiping things down. Thanks for a fun place to stay during our visits there , wish we had one back home .

2022-06-19Plenty of staff that was very attentive. Manager on duty the day we visited (6/18) 2pm, did a good job of staying on top of things; she was constantly communicating with other employees and giving direction. Other employees also walked around constantly making sure tables were clean after use. Everyone was kind and patient.

2022-06-30My kids and I visited today and, upon trying to leave, I realized I locked myself out of my car and needed my husband, who was > 30 minutes away, to come rescue us. I was hoping we could wait for him inside so that my kids could play a few minutes longer since we literally just left two minutes before. We were told we could sit at the tables but that my kids could not play since our arm bands had been snipped. I understand the need for procedures like this, and I typically don’t ask for exceptions (nor do I think I’m entitled to them), but we literally just walked out the door when I realized my error. It would have been nice for this locally owned business to consider the situation and put its (repeat) customer above a procedure. We won’t be back.EDIT: A few days ago, the owner, called to let me know she was using our experience as a learning experience for her staff. I appreciate her willingness to rectify the situation and teach her employees how to adjust the stores policies when necessary.
