Initially a favorable review for the sales process. Day 2 of owning my Ram 2500 Diesel, the transmission went out. Was trying to coordinate with sales rep to bring it in, but it eventually decided to take somewhere local, in case the drive was going to cause more damage. One follow up call the rep was asking me about my Jeep, which I didnt buy, then finally figured out this was the new truck I purchased. Explained what was going on and all i got was a sorry, I hope they figure it out. No offer for a loaner or anything. Hey the sale was over, why should he care??This point I am 2 weeks into owning a truck that I have driven for 2 days. The other dealer wont have the new transmission for at least another week, so tack on replacement time to that. This point not too happy with Ram, much less the entire car buying process. So this review is as much about Ram, but there are no options to leave them a bad review
REVIEW FOR SERVICE DEPT.TLDR: Overpriced and Very SlowDisclaimer: Reason given for delay was short staffing (4 Technicians)Vehicle broke down about 2 hours out of town from home-Vehicle (2013 Honda Odyssey-Overheating) Towed to location after hours on Sunday Evening- Updates were always instigated by me instead of them- Called Monday morning and was told I would hear something in the afternoon, called at close of business and was told they hadn’t touched it, would hear something after lunch Tuesday.- Called Tuesday around 2:00pm - still hadn’t been touched- Called Tuesday at 4:00pm - was being diagnosed- Received a call at 4:50pm was told the Radiator was leaking and needed to be replaced- Quoted $1200 for after market parts and labor and I needed to decide in 10 minutes because they would need to overnight the part and ordering it any later would mean another delay- Called 2 local shops to my home and received estimates for parts and labor for replacing the radiator first was ~ $580 and second was ~ $690- Called back and service person was unavailable- Considered taking it elsewhere but one I added the cost of paying them the diagnostic fee and additional towing I was too close to the $1200 to make it worth it.- Called again, got service person, missed 10 minute deadline- sales person “found some coupons” that decreased the quote down to ~ $895- Approved work for lack of other options- Was told I would receive a call when the part came in so I could make rough plans for picking up once completed- Called Wednesday around 2:00pm - service was unsure if part had arrived- Called back Wednesday 4:00pm - service was unsure if part had arrived- Received call back after 5:00pm - part had arrived, no guarantee that it would be fixed on Thursday- Called Thursday at 2:45 - car was being put back together and would be test driven told I’d hear back in 30 min- Received call back Thursday ~ 4:00pm - told that additional cost has been incurred because they had to add transmission fluid ~$50- provided payment over the phone and gave instructions for after hours pickup- Total $941.13- Time lapse: Monday 8:00 am to Thursday 4:30pmThat’s the facts, choose your own adventure
I have an open recall on a Jeep Wrangler. I called 2 months ago to set an appointment. The service advisor told me they were waiting on Jeep to get the parts in and would call me when it was in to schedule an install. That did not happen so I called again. I explained that I never got a call back. This time I was told that he would send the message to the girl that handles recall issues and she would schedule me right away. That never happened either and has been well over 2 weeks ago. I dont know what has happened to their service department as they WERE my preferred dealership. If they can not schedule and complete a service item then I have no trust in them for anything else. Guess they dont need customers. Oh and 1 more thing any consideration I was giving on that new Gladiator, well it wont be coming from nor serviced there.
I drove 2 hours just to look at a Red Rubicon. Salesman was a typical salesman but was a good guy. When he went to do the sell Tactics that come with. Came back with a less number. I expected it. One of his buddies made a smart comment about where I work and I just laughed it off and the Manager came out as I was leaving to say if I can get the number will you buy. I said No because you should have started there. Insulted me knowing my Jeep was well worth what I said I would take. I will never be back if they are fine with it so am I
I agree with Kayla Hamilton. My wife took her van for a recall issue. They charged over $120 for a diagnostic that we didn’t ask for. She also had a headlight out and they quoted over $350 to replace it. I bought the head light at a local parts store and changed it in under 30 minutes. The recall issue is still not fixed. I normally take my vehicle to Jacky Jones in Cleveland, Ga and it is definitely worth the drive.
I have a 2019 ram 1500 that was having 4wd issues. They took care of the problem the same week I called to schedule an appointment and were very professional. I have no complaints. Nick and Casey helped me out on a Saturday and did a fantastic job. It seemed as though they really enjoyed their work, especially for a SaturdayEditMy truck continued to have numerous issues even though I do not take it off pavement. The after telling the dealership my issues I had been having they did not care. They could not fix my truck properly. They said it would be another 125 dollars to just look at my truck again after having so many issues with it already. Meanwhile my truck is still under a power train warranty. They actually recommended that I call the Ford dealership to look at it. My ram truck. Truly impressive. That recommendation alone tells me they do not know basic customer service or have the ability to fix my truck properly. It really is a shame and I hope they do get better over time
Im traveling to milw. Pulling a small camper and while shopping without the camper someone backed into my bumper pulling it down on one side. I stopped to see if they could give it a look over for safety. One of there mechanics took the time to give me the green light. It was so nice of them to take the time.
So I went to get my headlight repaired. 1st they had to do diagnostics @ $110. Then I supposedly needed $1200 in repairs. I told them NO. I left went to handi-lube and the same repairs they wanted $1200 to do ended up costing $134. They were trying to charge me$312 for a headlight and 2 hours labor on a headlight that took 30 minutes. Then a new water pump @ $399 when I only needed antifreeze.Women be careful before letting them repair your car. They think we r dumb
Me and my Mom had a great experience with Kevin Gulley. We were pretty Leary of the whole car buying experience since we had a very bad experience somewhere else. He made my mom feel very comfortable and was very friendly. He was very patient with her and answered all her questions. He really went the extra mile to make sure her buying experience with mountain valley was a positive one and that she was going to be happy with her purchase. I know she has recommended him to friends and so have I. Big thumbs up!
Fantastic service! Long story short, I bought a used 2016 Jeep Compass and after owning it for 12 DAYS, Ive already had to replace a part on it. I live in Alabama and am at my parents house. I have to drive 6 and 1/2 hours tomorrow to Florida and my ABS and traction control light came on yesterday. In the midst of freaking out, I called Mountain Valley Motors and spoke to Casey. He told me he would check with the tech and see if he could fit me in last minute when I called around 3:50. The techs start going home around 4. He was able to fit me in and ordered the part for me. Very upfront and honest and the part came in today and they even were able to fit me in today to repair it!! By far, one of the nicest service centers Ive been to. Mountain Valley Motors is definitely a place to go to if you ever need service. They helped, especially Casey, make a bad situation as best as it could be. Thank you so so much!!
I have bought two cars at Mtn Valley Motors and I will but my next one there as well. I’m very weary of car dealerships and car salesman, but with my experience at Mountain Valley, I have to say they are not the typical dealer. John Conner in sales and Jeremy the service manager are absolutely top notch and they cared enough about this customer to make sure that something that could have been a complete disaster for me did not turn into one. My SUV completely shut down on the highway randomly with catastrophic engine failure. It was just 6800 miles out of warranty to top it all off. I immediately contacted Mountain Valley the very next day and they sent a tow truck down to Jasper to pick it up for me. After looking t over and realizing the engine was completely shot, instead of handing me a bill and telling me good luck, they said they would do everything they could with the manufacturer to try and get some financial help to make the repairs. They acted as my liaison between me and Hyundai and arranged to have the vehicle sent to Hyundai in Kennesaw to have them look it over. Praise be to God, at this very same time Hyundai had experienced a huge influx of engine issues for this very same type of vehicle and they replaced my engine free of charge, they even provided me with a very nice SUV (even nicer than mine) to drive in the two months it took them to replace the engine. Jeremy stayed in touch with Hyundai the entire time making sure I was being taken care of. I never had to contact Hyundai one time. Kudos going out to John Conner and Jeremy and Mountain Valley Motors for showing me that all car dealerships are not the same. And thank you Jesus for working through these wonderful people.
Had some issues with my F150 it is a company vehicle and needed to have it fixed before Monday. Ford and other shops around couldnt fit me in understandably because of the short notice. This was on a Friday afternoon. I had no appointment beforehand and they fit me in that day. Truck was ready to go by close of business Saturday. I bring my Ram 1500 there for maintenance and service also and have had great service from them.
RUDE RUDE RUDE!!! Would give negative stars if able. Im in the market for a particular new vehicle. Currently live over two hours away, but moving to the area, so at the recommendation of builder, called their sales dept. Gave salesman the exact specs I want (also willing to order if necessary). He never called back with quote. Still wanting to do business with a local business where we are moving, called back to give another chance. Different salesman, and he even claimed a certain option was not available, and that another dealership was lying when I was told it was available. He ultimately had to concede that it was in fact available, but still would never give me a price for the vehicle. Apparently they just expected me to drive over two hours with a blank check because they are so much better. Guess with that confidence they are still afraid of any sort of competition. The salesmans sarcasm and rudeness was only exceeded by that of the general manager when speaking to him. After over forty years in retail and/or customer service industries I have never encountered/experienced this level of rudeness towards a customer who was trying in good faith to spend literally tens of thousands of dollars at their business. I also dont know anyone who would shop for any product without asking the price. The general manager literally tried to chew me out for my audacity in asking for a price. He claimed that they would be doing all the work in finding and/or ordering the vehicle and then I would just go to another dealer for the purchase. Wow, I really didnt know it was that much work to look on a computer screen and figure out a price to sell a vehicle. Kind of thought that was the business they were in -- selling vehicles. But if just figuring out a price is too much work, how much customer service can you expect when you have a real problem. Truthfully I would ride a horse every day to work in the rain/snow before I would ever consider buying a vehicle from this dealership!!
Absolutely the best car buying experience Ive ever had.No salesman with fake smiles, and no shady sales tactics.Luann and Craig were so pleasant and helpful, and worked very hard to put me in the vehicle that I wanted.I would recommend anyone whos looking for a new or used vehicle to go and see the folks at Mountain Valley!
After going to Adventure in Dalton and having a terrible experience, I decided to give Mountain Valley a try. Boy am I glad I did. I needed a van because we had baby #3 on the way. After being quoted at Adventure Dodge I wasnt sure we could afford a new one, but Mountain Valley not only put me in a new van, but a nicer one and it was $300 a month cheaper than adventure. I was blown away, their prices are better, and they give a fair price for trade ins. I will be going back again and again!
I got told that I would be taken care of. Just another tactic to get you in. Incompetent service department, poor customer service. Would not answer my question about the problem with my vehicle. They tried to convince me that it was something else causing the issue. All they are interested in is getting as much money as they can from the customer. I was allowed to leave after paying a $50 service agreement deductable with my brake problem not resolved.
I highly recommend Mountain Valley. I made a mistake and bought a 2018 JL from Jasper Jeep my hometown. Long story short after 3 long visits back to Jasper Jeep for a noise in the rear end they couldnt seem to find or care to find Mountain Valley fixed! Not only that problem but a wind issue I was having so Yes! I will drive 45 min north for my service work from now on. Thanks to Anthony and to Matt for always getting me in there quick!!
Ive been a customer since 1994.. Mountain valley motors is the only place I take Crystal Bell to be worked on. Everyone is great. If U want your truck or car done right ask for Tracy one of the top best Mechanics.. All departments are fantastic at making me feel like family an helped me out more times then I can express even when I was in a tough spot... Thank you to all at MVM♥️..
I took my 2007 Megacab in because of the check engine light being on. This was on Tuesday February 27, 2018. I was told the PCM had to be replaced and because it was so expensive I would need to put a deposit down on it. After paying nearly $200 deposit and waiting over a week I was told this morning when I called that it should be in today or tomorrow. The problem I have is why, in the fast paced country we live in, does it take over a week to have any part delivered? Unfortunately I am at their mercy right now at least until I can get the part installed on my truck. I was referred to this dealership by a friend and now I may even question that friendship. I will post more later, hopefully after my truck is fixed.UPDATEI received a call from Jeremy about the situation that was going on. After explaining to him my frustrations he went to work rectifying the problem. Long story short I took my truck in 2 days later and the problem with it was fixed. I regret the mix up as everyone that I spoke or dealt with was extremely accommodating. Will I take my vehicle back for service again? YES, I most certainly will even though this is not the closest dealer to me. Happy to say all is good.
I came in from out of town with my my 2017 Jeep making concerning noises. It was unsafe to drive, I was only in town for that week, and the maintenance was going to take more than a few days to complete, especially with parts that needed to be ordered. Angel and the mechanics made my car a priority because of he short timeframe, and my car was fixed within a few days! They could not have been kinder, or more knowledgeable about my car. It was a quick and enjoyable experience, and I thank everyone at Mountain Valley.
Mountain Valley Motors in Blue Ridge, GA. defines what an automobile dealership is, and can be today. We have purchased many new vehicles over our decades of driving, but I have never experienced the ongoing level of service and commitment to customer satisfaction as we have had from Mountain Valley Motors.I write reviews based on my repeated experience with a business, not just a one stop judgement, and time and time again I a both pleased and honestly amazed how this dealership strives to do things right. I really do not know if it a case of their compliance with the demands of Chrysler-Jeep, or if they have someone in leadership that really understands how to keep a customer happy, and in doing so, insure that they will have first shot at our next new car purchase. In all likelihood it is a combination of both. But as long as they continue to car for their customers in this manner, they will keep our business.
Prices on new cars/trucks are marked up sky high. Very limited new inventory... they mainly have jeeps and ram trucks. Salesman was pushy:I told him what I wanted a (green hemi charger) and he told me They dont make chargers in that color. (a lie) Then tried to sell me a V6 orange charger (they had 2, their only new chargers).I drove 2 hours away and bought the car I had wanted for LESS MONEY than they wanted for the chargers on their lot.Bottom line: Expect to pay about $10,000 extra for a new car here... shop elsewhere.
Fantastic folks at Mountain Valley Motors . Ive had only great experiences and Dwayne Mousley is my sales guy . Great salesman , great service department and a great manager , John . I wont go anywhere else to purchase a vehicle . If youre looking to buy a vehicle .. go there first , imo . Their used vehicles are fantastic and , of course , the new vehicles are just that . Their prices are spot on
John was great fron the very beginning. He offered to meet me closer to my house with the vehicle so I could check it out. I could not meet but when I arrived the next day at the dealership everything was what he said it was. Chris the finance guy was also a pleasure to work with. Would highly recommend the guys and girls at Mountain Valley in Blue Ridge, Ga.
NEVER buy a car at this place! They sold a car to a 68 year old lady that was bad. The ENGINE BLEW IN 3 days! The sales person who sold her the 7,000.00+ car (and is no longer there) said there was no warranty when she contacted him after the 5th day of purchase. To this day Mountain Valley Motors has not helped to resolve or has extended a hand to help fix the car. Morally and ethically this is terribly wrong. Now this single elderly lady has no way to get to work and will have to get a loan to fix the engine repair which is costing her 2,000.00 :( what is wrong with these people, makes me so upset!
I would like to share with everyone that Brian at Mtn Valley Ford went beyond what needed to be done when we bought our RV into the shop because the fan didnt work on the dash air, and we could not get Camping World in Chattnooga to address the issue or call us back. Since the unit was under warranty, Brian called Camping world to be paid for the work and was told that they would not be paid since they were not a certified ford dealership. Anyone that lives in or around Blue Ridge knows that Mountain Valley Ford is indeed Certified, and their customer service is over the top. Thank you Mountain Valley Ford and Brian for your excellent service to us.Johnny Hayes
HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE! If I werent smart I would call this dealership, racist. I brown skin have a mother who is white from adoption. She and I, along with my dad arrived to the dealership after PHONING DARRYL (salesman). We made him well aware two days prior that we were coming for a 2005 Honda Accord, even called him the morning of, when we faced delays.. As we arrived the car was not in front as he said, but instead as we waited on him to come to the front we witnessed him, and his co worker arriving in the car I requested. His co worker was driving, and exited (walked away super fast not in our direction) as Darryl approached us without a handshake or hello, or any remorse. We all instantly saw his discrimination. Once again we drove over 3 hours, so it his discrimination was disregarded. Darryl Informed us that the vehicle was sold with no buyer in SIGHT(NO ONE WAS ON THE LOT BUT SALESMAN) and the listing is still online. DARRYL feed us a crappy lie saying I called you to tell you. Mind you I never gave this man my number or email, and unlike a salesman HE DID NOT ASK! I am utterly disgusted with the diligence of this company, most importantly Darryl you are despicable. NO one was attentive, not even the receptionist. I would not MORALLY recommend this dealer to anyone!
I just purchased an adorable pre-owned Jeep Renegade from Mountain Valley Motors yesterday. I absolutley love it and got a fantastic deal!Jessy was my salesman. He is such a terrific fellow...so patient and knowlegable and helpful. I really enjoyed working with him, and would recommend him in a New York Minute!
Terrible customer service and liars. I have been in contact with Jason in sales and he straight out lied to me. The dealership ran my mothers credit and she had been pre approved to purchase a truck on Saturday 12/30/17. She went back home to discuss it with me.We then called Jason and advised him that we wanted the truck. We asked Jason if he can hold the truck until Wednesday 01/03/18, since the dealership is far away from where we live. He said that was perfectly fine and asked for a credit card number, which we willingly gave him the credit card number. I called jason on 01/01/2018 and confirmed again that we will be going to the dealership on Wednesday morning. It is now Wednesday and were halfway to the dealership that is an hour and a half away from where we live and he calls stating Sorry, truck was sold yesterday. Jason assured me that the truck would be held but he didnt fulfill our agreement. What was even the point of holding my mothers credit card if he wasnt going to hold the truck. Please do not do business with this dealership. They will deceive you.
General Mgr very rude should be fired . In todays times when everything is based in CSI he has a terrible attitude. Possible it may have just been a bad day but in these times you cant have any bad days. Rest of staff seemed to be more professional. Personally I would look elsewere
I dont even know what to say about them without saying anything Id regret.Just go somewhere else, trust me, they have a total of 2 loaner cars, and do not tell you the entire truth about anything.Dont buy a car from them. Low life scumbagsThey have no morals, or customer appreciation. If I could give it a -5 Star Review I would. They should lose there flag to sell cars.
Ive had a transmission growling for seven years in my 2011 Ram Hemi. Three or four previous dealers could not find the problem. The folks at Mountain Valley Motors went out of their way to help me. On the last day of my 7 year/70K mile warranty Jerme and the two technicians agreed that the problem was a torque converter. They ordered the part and had it back on the road in Less then their 8 hour shift. After 7 years of aggravation my truck is quiet. Thanks to MountainValley Motors and crew.RegardsBud
Stay away as far as possible from this dealer! Their service writer drove my truck over the curb then put it in park while dangling on the edge. Then restarted it and put it in gear, the transmission when BANG!!!!! Service manager(jeff) said to find another dealer!!! If you value your vehicle take it somewhere else!!!
EXCELLENT SERVICE,POLITE,QUICK,AND PRICING is VERY GOOD COMPARED to OTHER DEALERSHIPS,THEY are ALWAYS BUISY BUT I CAN ALWAYS GET AN APPOINTMENT for SERVICE and REPAIRS,I LOVE THEM!!THEY MAKE GETTING SERVICE and REPAIRS PAINLESS.SERVICE and the MECHANICS ARE HONEST and POLITE!!10 STARS!!

2022-07-31Best car buying experience I have ever had. Highly recommend Chris Cook. He was very patient with me and listened to what I had to say. Angel in financing was the sweetest and so helpful as well. At least 4 people at the dealership greeted me with a smile and I was even offered some breakfast. They made me so comfortable and I got the truck I always wanted. Thank you everyone

2021-02-11All around a good car buying experience with Andrew Leroy. No BS or hard pressure sales tactics. Hindsight being 20/20 I probably should have negotiated a better deal if Id done my research but Im an impulse buyer so thats a me issue!

2021-12-15Worst experience ever verbally assaulted while givin a spit bath by the sales manager Bc THEY are no longer honoring what THEY told us about! I hope after all this he learns a lesson in how to treat people! Totally uncalled for! Then the response on your Fb review wow!!! Very unprofessional and adolescent calling names such as you have!Train your employees right and this wouldn’t happen Sir! But I hope Corporate hears your name enough to fix the problem!!!!I pray even more they pull the videotapes and see you charge at me,little 100lb me,because you can’t sit down and explain the situation to me without turning red in the face with a vein popping out while giving me a spit bath yelling in my face, With your sales guy holding YOU back All over a oil change YOUR buisness informed me of,a oil change I originally had NO problem paying for but then he insults me and says I can’t pay my bills ….. I’ve been battling cancer for over a yr and so I have a few bills unpaid but that’s not any of his business my Jeep Gladiator is paid for!!!! Horriable representation of Jeep!

2021-12-15Mountain Valley was super helpful with finding my dream car! They were super friendly and did SO much to get me into the car I wanted. They broke everything down and we’re great at explaining all of the questions I had. I can’t say enough good things about MVM. I 10/10 recommend!

2022-02-03I am a driver. This was my 1st time at this location. I parked in the turning lane out front. It was a busy street, so keep an eye out. If you have a shorter trailer you may be able to get turned around in the back of their parking lot.Employees were extremely busy, I kind of felt in the way. They did get to me fairly quickly.

2022-03-04We went there looking for a new SUV for my wife. They didn’t have much of a selection (understandable during these times) but we did see one that piqued our interest, it was a Jeep Wagoneer II. The sales person told us that we couldnt test drive it because they were trying to keep mileage down on those vehicles. Its my belief that he didnt want to let us test drive it because he either thought we werent going to buy it, or couldnt afford it (I could have paid cash) so we went to the local Chevy dealership and bought from them.

2019-06-07I took my son in to show him about how buying a car worked. Kevin Gulley spent about 2 hours with us explaining things to Daniel and I and helping Daniel narrow down what he was looking for in a used car. I appreciate that he was not hard sell and high pressure. When we are ready to buy I’d definitely choose Kevin as my salesman!

2021-03-22Great service. I had several things to get done to my truck Ross is the best. He really took care of me while I was there for the day. No, fault of his that I was there for the day. I had traveled there and asked for several things to be performed on my vehicle. They even got me to a restaurant so that I could sit down to eat lunch while I waited then got me back to the shop. From the front sales desk to the back shop I have had nothing but the best experience from them. I hope they have the vehicle I want when I get ready to buy another vehicle from them.
