It’s ok. Serves its purpose, I guess. It’s rather dark and dreary feeling compared to a lot of aquatic centers. Ventilation isn’t great—the smell of chlorine is always strong. It’s always cold, although they supposedly keep the pools at a constant temperature. They don’t keep the air temperature warm enough so it always feels freezing while swimming. I wouldn’t choose to go here.
Today was our 1st time there. The staff was friendly & polite. There was 2 huge pools 1 for recreation & another for serious swimmers. There was swimming lessons going on and other adults enjoying the pool. Life guards watching at all times. Also several was to enter the pool including the ♿ acess. Bathrooms clean & showers. Im not a member yet but i will be joining. Also if ur not from Cobb its addition its under $7.00, $4.50 if ur local residents. It felt clean & safe
Only been twice so far but pretty cheap (About 3.50) and the staff is friendly. I have to ask a lot of questions about decorum - such as the best lane for me to swim in or how to claim said lane - as I am not a very experienced swimmer and theyre very happy to give guidance. Remember to bring a lock for your locker as they do not provide any.
I like this pool a lot, Cobb County has a few really good pools and this is one of their best! Mtn View is always busy but they manage to work a large number of programs, teams, and competitions into the facility while still offering pool time to members of the community at convenient times! I think this goes to show how awesome the management is, and also how much the community craves aquatics! Cobb seriously needs more facilities just like this!
Wasnt what I expected! Every minute life guard can a told me more and more rules my granddaughter and I couldnt do! My granddaughter was very very upset! She told her mom ,she hated that place because they wouldnt leave me alone, with all those interruptions ! What we could and couldnt do! They were not very friendly! I have a Senior Cobb county pass, was told to bring my drivers licenses in to vertify I live in Cobb! Very disappointed!

2022-02-12Great place for people to swim! Wish there was more air flow and swim blocks are a little steep.

2021-09-10Great place to swim, but go early if you want a lane because it fills up quickly! Otherwise no complaints! Staff is friendly, cost is good, and is up-kept very well! Part of the Cobb Country Park and Recreation system.

2021-08-25I go to water classes. I am in the arthritis class but they have deep & shallow water aerobics. There is a lap pool and instructional pool. Both are indoor, heated (different temperatures) pools. Instructors are all certified and extremely helpful. Great place.

2021-05-26This place is huge. Looked nice and clean. We came here only to get my Scout swim qualified so besides my initial impression is not an on depth review. The staff were helpful and the young lady running the test was perfect.

2021-06-07This is a delightful place to go swim. They have lockers, showers and benches for men and women. In addition to open swim times, there are many classes offered. They also have a ramp area and special classes for people with physical challenges.

2018-05-05Great pool, wonderful staff. I swim indoors only. Decent prices for daily and annual passes. Large locker rooms, showers with small changing areas. Unfortunately changing areas are cramped, so my clothes usually get wet. If I could find a private aquatic center in this area that was run this well with nicer changing areas, I would join. This is the best available, year-round indoor pool for swimming laps that’s within driving distance for me.

2020-08-22From the moment I walked in with my son and nanny we felt harassed. We were accused of doing swim lessons before we even entered the pool. I suspect it was because we were a multi race family. We are a black family and our Nanny is white. We went twice and were constantly interrupted, questioned stopped asked about our address even though we were paid members and swiped our cards. I didnt see them ask a million questions to anyone else there who was there . We felt extremely harassed and targeted. Doesnt appear that anyone else was getting that level of scrutiny. It was not a pleasant experience for us. They had multiple people sharing lanes but they told us because we lived at different addresses we couldnt be in the same lane due to Covid19 rules but that rule didnt apply to the multiple other people sharing lanes. I didnt observe them asking anyone else their address or if they lived in the same house. Then we asked for two lanes next to each other, they had a problem with us talking to each other. We were completely harassed. We ended up leaving and getting our money back.
