Good food and drinks.. nice lunch spot too
This is my and my girlfriends favorite after work spot. Its definitely a dive bar, theres a pool table, lots of TVs, and the whole place is wood paneled. Everybody knows each other here, most customers work in the area, or are friends with our family members of the employees. Very chill atmosphere, Peele just come, get drinks, chill, and make new friends. Theres also a nice patio area with fans where pooches tend to hang out. Ive honestly never had the food because its just our after work watering hole, but every time Ive seen the good its looked really good!
Love Mr. Cs. Try the wings with lemon pepper and hot SAUCE MIXED!!!!
This place is awesome!!! Great staff, awesome hole in the wall atmosphere. Awesome locals to talk to! There are a few arcade games to keep those who get bored easily, occupied. Drinks are well made and pack a lunch. Nice outside area to enjoy atlanta nights and it’s so close to everything around town!!
Mr. Cs is not for everyone. Id you are looking for a dive bar that smells smokey and one pool table, this place is for you. Drinks are reasonably priced, service is friendly and attentive.

Seen WOC treated very badly there. Plus my bill was more expensive than “others” who ordered the same exact thing as me. I don’t like the reference of “female” it’s very degrading

Another of my old haunts when I lived in Atlanta. This is a great divey/sports bar. Ive had many good nights here. Came back after a few years, it was about the same as before. Good prices and good staff, but nothing amazing. The wings used to be good, but I didnt have any on the last visit.

If you like dive bars youll love this place. Great drink options, pitchers are cheap. Taps are clean and draft beer is tasty. I dont ever get the food but its OK.
America is built around dive bars. This is buckheads. The burger and fries are actually really good. Dont be nervous about this place, it rocks! Did I mention $7 pitchers of bud light? It does have that traditional dive bar smell though.
Great spot for cheap drinks and laid back people. You can still smoke inside which for some is a deal breaker. I dont smoke, but doesnt bother me unless it gets cloudy. Big HDTVs for watching college football make it a nice spot for Saturday.

Great old small town feel with modern day clientele and staff. Highly recommend you check it out for yourself. Good food and drinks, great prices and very nice safe atmosphere.
Get atmosphere , good drinks
There were so many people smoking inside that I couldnt even taste my food. Ordered the Hotiyaki wings, the server was rude and the food took almost 30 minutes, after my beer had come out almost immediately. I think the server forgot about our table, honestly. Wings were soggy and barely warm, again leading me to believe we had been forgotten about completely. When I paid ($40 cash on a $34.67 bill), our server KEPT THE CHANGE without even asking! I definitely wont be back, and hopefully I can get the taste of that terrible sauce off my tongue.
Good place to be on a week night if u just wanna unwind and take a load off staff seems kool and the patio is a good kick back spot. Pool table adds a nice neighborhood bar touch/feel

I am a 30+ Atlanta native and that being said I am sad to see on of the last standing true dives such as Mr Cs fall into bad management. Wade I believe the manager or man in charge not only had such such an ominous presence but was super hostile for me asking for my change when I had a $35 tab and paid with a $100 bill. He was so aggressive I felt the need to call my friend to come meet me to walk me out when I left. Loved the place and its history but Mr cs is no longer a safe fun dive in Atlanta...
...40 years and I still drop in, but will always miss Mr. Cs welcoming countenance as he held court next to the bar. His daughter Kim took over as the cane became a wheelchair and I will always have happy memories of this classic neighborhood establishment...

I dont want to even add 1 start but i have to. There was a yoyng lady bartending lastnight it was 1140pm when i walked in alone to order 1 margarita. The usual bartendar the guy said she just called lastcall and she would get my drinj. She was doung nothing and totally ignored mr. Then i waited 10 mins and she finally look up and said were done. I said well the other bartender said you would make my drink. She replied very rudly that well come back and see him im done. In a very condicending way. Very rude and nasty. I will never support that place again. I hope you dont either
Neat little hole in the wall bar, with good amount of parking. Very limited food option, especially for vegetarians. Drinks and food are reasonable priced. Back patio, indoor smoking, pool table, golden tee golf arcade game.
I just love it here. Feels like Cheers. Its small but the drinks are strong and food surprisingly good bar food. Great after work spot. Juke box but a nice one.

Neighborhood dive-bar with excellent patrons. Jukebox is always playing. The hot wings are tasty! Always sports games on the multiple televisions. This is the dive of dives... -1 star for the constant stench of urine in the restroom.
Very much a smoking dive bar, but if thats your scene, the regulars are great and the bar tender are phenomenal with heavy hands
My children tell me of seeing drugs used in this place and dealers named Darrel working the place. We’ve contacted the DEA in hopes of saving some lives. This place has really gone down hill since we use to go there in our youth.
Good Ol Fashion dive bar with a few pool tables, video golf and fried okra. What else could you want for a place with some of the best streetside signs in ATL.

Refuse to go in, whoever manages the sign board outside is pretty good at alienating women it seems. Women, not females. We are not females, that is how you refer to animals, not people, trash.

2022-01-16Local dive bar in Atlanta. Plenty of seats to be able to either go on date night or bring a crowd. And pool table to play with a group. We came here for drinks and enjoyed having a small gathering together. The place looked outdated but plenty of tv to watch sports and chill. Bartender was nice and the vibe I got was only locals came out to hang out there. Not a bad experience.

2021-04-23What you would expect from a dive bar, friendly staff. Good amount of beer selection, smaller tap list. It they make up with their bottled selection. The pool table there provides entertainment and a nice outdoors patio completes the experience. Did not get to try the food there but the outdoor patio has a tv as well so if u wanted to drink, smoke, eat and watch a game doesn’t get any better
