Best Martial Art / Fitness classes I have ever experienced ! Owner and instructor Mr. Tey Koval is amazing, very knowledgeable and passionate about teaching. My 3 children (under 10) are attending as many week days as possible and I am going to the fitness/ kick boxing classes 3 times a week. We all love going. Great atmosphere, great group of kids/adults. Don’t look further, come join !!!
Tey Koval is a phenomenal martial artist! He has a passion for teaching kids and adults! You will definitely want to join his academy and will be extremely happy with the level of instruction you receive.
This place is simply amazing, my son has been going to the karate class for 3 months now and I attend the kickboxing fitness classes. Tey is the best at what he does. I highly recommend both the karate and adult fitness kickboxing.
I signed up for the 6 weeks kickboxing challenge, a kind of a spur of a moment thing, since I knew I had to make some good changes in my life, starting with exercising. I had no prior kickboxing experience (or any other exercise program experience, actually) but I fell in love with it! It’s a great stress reliever!Mr. Koval and Mr. Espinoza are so motivating, nice and funny. They push you to be your best and encourage you along the way in equal measure, and that’s really appreciated for a first timer like me.I love coming here! The place is clean and welcoming. Its an amazing atmosphere with amazing people! I will recommend 100%!
This is one of the best places to learn martial arts! It feels like a family. Mr. Koval is extremely knowledgeable , respectful and patient. My kids love him. I started the kickboxing classes New Vision Martial Arts in July, and I can honestly say I haven’t felt this good in a long time! Before the pandemic, I would work out at a gym and lift weights but wouldn’t see any progress. I got discouraged and let myself go. I gained weight and felt extremely lousy. Fast forward to now... only being 2 months in going 3 times a week (sometimes 2 times ), I’ve went down a pants size, and I feel strong and confident! My stress level is pretty high but I go to class and let it all out. Mr. Koval takes the time to get to know his students on a personal level to help them achieve their goals. He knows exactly how to motivate each student differently. Classes are challenging but also fun. You will find yourself working out in an environment that’s so welcoming it makes you want to come back just to say hi!
Absolutely best martial arts facility in the area! They do a wonderful job of balancing fitness with martial arts skills. My daughter begs to go daily, and I am amazed at how well they do with adjusting the lessons to help her understand the concept they are teaching that day. If you are looking for an affordable martial arts facility with top notch instruction, you have to check this place out!
The kickboxing class is amazing! It is a great way to relieve stress and a great cardio workout. The times offered can fit almost anyone’s schedule. I am able to go to class in the morning, and still make it to work, which works great for me. When you get in a routine and see some of the same people each time, it gives you a sense of accountability.The martial arts classes there are awesome for kids. It builds their self-confidence and there is normally a life lesson at the end of class which even I need to hear sometimes.I would recommend New Vision Martial Arts to anyone.
We have had an extremely positive experience with New Vision Martial Arts studio. My son loves the class and Mr. Koval is great teacher! If you are considering a Martial Arts studio in the Dallas / Acworth area I would Highly recommend New Vision. My wife and I did some research on martial arts studios in the area and we are very happy that we choose New Vision.

I have known Mr. Koval for many years, my daughter trained and worked for him. He is an excellent martial artist and teacher. He has a bit of old school teaching with the new which keeps the classes flowing and you know what he teaches will work.
My son started training here a year ago. He has gained confidence and strength, lost weight, and has become passionate about his skills. It feels great knowing that my baby has the strength and skill to defend himself, and confidence to walk away from the unimportant things. However, don’t be fooled, as he has been thoroughly prepared to defend himself. The staff is very knowledgeable, patient, professional, and kind. Mr. Koval is an all around great guy. You can tell he’spassionate about Martial Arts, helping, and teaching. Everyone in my family has met him, and he’s made a great impression on us all. At the end of each class, he teaches the kids a life lesson to take with them, and it always hits home for me. As a single mother, his wisdom and encouragement helps me mold my son into the great, and successful, person that I know he is going to be. Mr. Kirby and Ms. Swanson are great teachers, as well. They take their time to make sure that you understand, and don’t mind giving extra attention, when it’s needed. Mr. Kirby can sang (Not sing), and is testing soon to add to his black belt. Ms. Swanson is a college student, and she’s also testing soon to add to her black belt. I’m so happy to have found them, and I plan to see my son through his black belt here. Best Martial Arts Studio! I love the KB classes and how Tey accommodates everyone! I live in Texas, and I am still able to join his classes over Zoom. Tey is the best!
I recently had the opportunity to attend a Self-awareness program for small kids at our Sub-Division Clubhouse. The program was sponsored by the owners & staff of New Vision Martial Arts. Even though we showed up an hour late (poor planning on my part) they were more than willing to stay an extra hour to teach my children (6 & 8) who LOVED IT. I cant speak for their shop located in the Seven Hills Station but with this type of service one can only imagine they treat all of their students the same way.
My son is in Little Dragons and even though he has a hard time focusing at times, Mr. Koval is so patient with him and all of the other LDs. My son loves going to karate and has made so much progress with his attention and following multiple directions since he started. These kids are young and it’s so much fun to watch them! Mr. Koval keeps them moving and tires them out for us!
Great school! Tey is a talented teacher and has great classes for kids and adults. Good learning skills for karate and fitness workout. I’ve known Tey many years and he is the best to keep kids motivated and learn sport with fun! Appreciate!

Mr. Koval is an excellent instructor. He taught my son for about two and a half years. Hes tough in a good way and keeps it fun, too.

New Vision Martial Arts is a new place. The gym is clean and has a lot of space. But the best thing is that kids are moving a lot! They are not sitting and screaming “Yessir!”. They move a lot!It looked so fun, that I wanted to try kicking it myself :) I was glad I did :)Thank you Tey, It felt great!
My both kids (3.5 and 5 yo) love having classes there, always fun, productive, creative and new. Mr.Koval is great with the kids. Way to go!

THIS PLACE IS AWESOME!!! If you or your kids are wanting to learn self-defense or get in shape then look no further! New Vision Martial Arts is top tier in providing instruction on taekwondo with a workout added in. From my personal/professional prospective as a former paratrooper and boxer, I can say that this place is WELL worth the money. So please try this place out! My son and I have and it has changed our lives for the better.
I had no idea what we were getting into when my son decided he wanted to do karate. Mr.Koval was so helpful from day one! My son loves it at New Vision and his passion for karate continues to grow thanks to the awesome instructors there!

2022-03-24I am so happy I chose this place for my boys to learn martial arts. The instructors are very skilled and work well with kids. The kids in their class are respectful and skilled. Your child will learn to be on point with their karate skills here.

2021-04-12We love the quality and care the instructors give our child. This is a very family oriented place. At the end of each class the instructor does a value lesson which brings home the instruction. I love that these instructors get not every human body is the same and can perform the same. They are patient during the learning process. We love it so much, my husband and I have been taking kick boxing.

2019-10-09Hands down best kickboxing class Ive ever taken. The owner/instructor is so knowledgeable and talented. Class is high energy and fun, NOT militant but still hard work. Ive seen more progress in my strength, flexibility, and overall body tone in the last six months of kickboxing than I have over years of other workouts. My husband also comes to classes when he can and he is thoroughly worked out every time. I highly recommend it!My children go to the martial arts classes and LOVE it! The classes are well taught and the kids have a great time. Mr. Koval is a fantastic teacher who really understands the kids. There is no better place for martial arts!

2021-05-06Tey is an amazing instructor. He is excellent with the kids and is constantly teaching them life lessons. In the adult kickboxing classes he is very patient and always changes up the routine to keep us from getting bored. Very easy to talk to!

2021-04-16I just started the kickboxing class a little over a week ago with one of my coworkers and it is absolutely fantastic so far! I’ve had a gym membership for a little over a year and although I’ve gone and worked out it’s just never been something I’ve really looked forward too. However even though this is still a new thing I actually really look forward to the classes with Tey. Going 3 days a week and loving it! Looking forward to losing weight and toning up and just having a fantastic time!!!
