Best Latin American food in Columbus, the food is just as good as home. Mrs Normita is very skillful and knowledgeable preparing different dishes. Melisa is generous and attentive with all customers. After having lunch I almost felt asleep, they should have a wheel chair or a patient bed for when youre done eating, youll take a nap or a siesta... :)

2022-04-08This hole in the wall is great! Just come on in and get a quick bite or hang out and eat all you can for under $10! I came in around 1130 for lunch and had the lunch buffet. Awesome stuff! Very affordable! Great people!

2022-04-19The food was not Puerto Rican authentic. I arrived around 12:30p. Food was cold. The stew chicken ( pollo guisao) tasted as if they added sugar in it. Didnt like it. The tamales were some what bitter, but hot as they are kept in a steamer.

2019-10-11This place (if you are from Latin America ) is a little peace of home in Columbus . I can’t explain how nice was my visit to that place , the workers super extremely kind cuz I brought a non lain friend with me and the worker explained to her all the dishes and everything we really appreciate it.It gets crowded on lunch time so be aware, it opens Monday - Friday 11:30pm-5pm it’s around 8,75$ to eat there and if you want to take out add 2$ more .May only subjection will be make the dessert more traditional beside that everything is awesome.

2022-04-20Not what I expected. It was not authentic Puerto Rican food. Food was cold. Chicken stew was as if they added sugar in it. Tamales meat was bitter.

2021-11-04It was better than fast food but to me it didnt have Puerto Rican flavor. It was good Spanish style food though. What I liked the best was a special salad they makeIf you dine in, its all you can eat.

2019-05-24Pretty good food. Friendly staff. I like their empanadas. The steak was really good. Fish was a little under seasoned but still decent. Plantains were great. Overall a positive experience and I will be going again.

2019-08-31Dont let the outside nor the modest furniture fool you. This place serves high quality, delicious food, the staff is super friendly and make you feel like family. The yucca fries and tostones are to die for. Although they serve delicacies like mofongo, yellow rice, & chicken stew, my favorite has always been Beef Steak with onions, white rice & beans! This would be your grandmas home cooking, if she were Latin!8/30/19Usually the food & service quality declines with time. Not here. The food is as exciting and delicious as it was when I first tasted Mrs. Normitas cooking in 2005. In fact, the beef steak and onions seemed even more flavorful and tender today. I usually dont like visiting buffets because I over eat to get my moneys worth. Here I over eat because the food is just so darn good!
