Outstanding place! We were greeted with a friendly smile and quickly seated at our table table. The waiting staff is highly professional super friendly and very interactive The cocktails were delicious thats ridiculous, and we enjoyed several appetizers all of them were outstanding perioutstanding. The favorite at the table was the fried green tomatoes followed by my followed by mussels, the trout smoked dip, And then the kids favorite calamari. The entrees did not disappoint either. Theyre. At the table we had the philly cheesesteak which was large and portion and had a great flavor With the aju. The best dish of all was the salmon and over risotto which was a major hit in every way. Everyone grabbed a fork and enjoyed. Will be back!!!!
We stopped in here for a few drinks and a couple of appetizers. We tried the hummus and it was ok but I am not a fan of traditional hummus. Next, we had the spinach and artichoke dip that was very good. Last, we tried the Puerto Rican pork and plantain dish that was very different but had a unique taste. Every time we have visited here, we have not been disappointed with the food or staff as they always seem to make sure you are satisfied!
A group went for Thurs Night Lobster Special and it was amazing. The waitstaff is great and amazing food. The Lobsters were perfect. Good selection of wine. Small parking lot and it is valet only. The popular sides to order was the wedge salad (shareable size) or the Au Gratin Potatoes.
Wonderful dinner experience for our party of four! We began by sharing the Calamari & then beet salad starters. Entrees were the catch of the day trout, beef short ribs, crab cakes, & the burger, each with balanced and flavorful sides. We finished with creme brulee with a hint of lavender. Imaginative dishes wonderfully prepared. Efficient, informative, & friendly service in a most pleasant setting. Just excellent ... everything perfectly executed.
Had a reservation and requested outside on the reservation. When we showed up, the hostess said that the outside was first come first serve. So, what was the point of having a reservation!! The inside was empty, but she still wanted us to wait at the bar for 15 minutes. She was very rude. I am not going to pay for dinner at a restaurant that doesnt respect the customer. There are too many restaurants in the area that want actually want your business. Went across the street to Captain Jacks and had a delicious dinner with great service.
Came to celebrate a friends birthday and all the staff at NOCA could not do enough to make it a great evening! Ariana, our server, went above and beyond to give great service. Great food, great wine, great service and all the things you hope a restaurant delivers-and they did! Thanks for a great evening.
Our server was nice and a flat bread appetizer was the best part of the meal. The rest of the experience was mediocre and entries lacked flavor and presentation. We wanted to try a new place, but it turned to be a disappointing experience or just did not meet our expectations. Wont return.
Best dinner experience ever! The food was absolutely phenomenal; probably the BEST crab cake we’ve ever had. Everything we’ve had was delicious; the crab cake, the braised short rib, even the green beans were addicting! Also, without a doubt the BEST service ever from our favorite server, Carola! She was very attentive, friendly, funny, and absolutely the reason we will keep returning! :)
Stopped in last night with a friend and had the NOCA martini to start as we sat outside and it was perfect for the hot day. Then we moved j side where we ordered the special of the day and the crab cakes for dinner. We wanted a white wine and Arianna, our waitress suggested the German Riesling and it was amazing!!! Wish I had ordered the bottle from the start! It went perfectly with our dinner whick was equally as good. The place is amazing and so is the service. Arianna is young but she sure knows her wine!! Def will come back and have her pick my pairings. The new manager, Meagan kept checking in on us as well making sure we lacked nothing or needed anything. It was a perfect dinner. So rare to have great food, drinks and service now a days so I definitely recommend you trying NOCA.
Great service, showed up last night for the last Live After Five in downtown Roswell. The salmon special was amazing with white asparagus and butternut squash melted in cheese... The duck (with mushroom in a wine sauce and bok choy) was also top notch, and the Brussel sprouts appetizer. The quality is up there and I will definitely be back! A+
Our party of 6 had a great meal and loved our sweet and attentive waitress, Mary. We spent over $700 on our dinner and drinks- and then went outside to leave, decided to sit on a table/chairs on the grass and finish our drinks. We were RUDELY approached twice by the hostess - who literally screamed at us to leave. I wish i had it on video. No one was outside except for two other tables!!! We told her we were finishing our drinks and would probably order another, and that we’d leave if they needed the table for dinner service for another party. There were several open tables. She INSISTED very rudely that we leave. It was alive after 5 - so I get that they can’t have random people sitting at their tables- but after spending $700 dollars- I was completely taken aback. This restaurant is great- but rude hostess needs to be put in a position not interacting with loyal customers. I don’t know that we’ll be back.
I was with a group who dined inside and then left to open the table for other guests. Meal was good (but not great). However our server was very attentive. We took our last round of drinks to go and left to walk down Canton Street. As we left we saw that there were four unoccupied tables right at the edge of the sidewalk so we sat down at ONE unoccupied table. We were approached by a hostess who literally screamed that the tables were to be used by customers, which we had just been to the tune of over $700. Ok, thats fine and we should leave and move on when you need the table and we were happy to do that. But there are 3 four top tables open for new guests right beside us. And the manner in which the hostess spoke to us was neither polite or professional. Way too many awesome restaurants in Roswell to go back here.
My wife and I dined at this restaurant on 03/27/21, and had a horrible experience. We had 6:30 reservations and arrived at 6:20. At 7:55 we still did not have entrees. However, they did agree to cover our drinks and appetizers before I decided to leave. I tried to be as patient as possible, but after seeing multiple parties arrive after us and receive their appetizers and entrees before us was unacceptable. Very disappointing that we were treated this way.
We had an early Holiday celebration with our office last night. The food was outstanding!!!! Cocktails incredible! First time at the restaurant, and must say I can’t wait to go back! Awesome outside dining!! Casual atmosphere! Very Attentive staff!!! You won’t be disappointed!!!
We ordered two drinks, short rib egg rolls as an appetizer, a crab cake entree, and a mahi entree. The drinks were okay. Nothing special but reasonably priced. The egg rolls were good and reasonably priced. The entrees were terrible. The crab cakes were nothing but bread crum filler and tasted more like a pancake dipped in panko. For $30 this was outrageous. The mahi was worse than the crab cakes. The portion size was small, it was impossibly dry, and it tasted like it had been cooked from frozen in the microwave. The drizzle of teriyaki sauce on top did little to hide just how bad the fish was. $23 for the mahi was unreasonable with the small portion size, but especially so given how terrible it was. We are fortunate, however, that the microwave radiation probably killed the bacteria living in the old fish.
Love everything about this place. There must be a new owner because the menu is a lot smaller than it used to be, and focuses more on seafood. It’s always been good, but these changes make it even better! Love the outdoor patio at night....very romantic. Great service, and fantastic food.
We went for a late Sunday brunch, knowing nothing about NOCA -- and what a pleasant surprise! The restaurant wasnt crowded, the service was friendly & courteous, and the food was DELICIOUS (we cleaned our plates)! My omelet was fluffy and loaded with filling. Husband liked his chicken biscuit with gravy so much, he only let me have a tiny bite :-P The chicken was juicy, very lightly breaded & fried crispy; the biscuit was melt-in-your-mouth light. Delicious!
From the time we entered until we had talked among old friends for almost 4 hours, the service and courtesy was fantastic. The waiter (I apologize for forgetting his name/dynamic fella who got engaged April1) was one of the best I’ve ever had, knowledgeable about the menu, excellent suggestions, great sense of humor, never intrusive or rushing us. The food equaled the attentiveness: grouper, stuffed lobster, special chicken and great apps. The Carrot Cheese Cake was delicious. We’ll be back many times over.
Our server was awesome and the cocktails were good as well. However the food was a different story. I ordered a pork loin(medium) and received a pork chop(well) without any prior indication from staff it was still juicy so whatever. The sides were some hardly cooked grilled (chared) veggies, and steamed potatoes that seemingly had no seasoning that they also decided to grill. The sautéed spinach that I requested in place of what turned out to be hardly cooked veggies was great. $24 for a porkchop was a bit steep compared to the heritage pork loin on the menu. The redfish we ordered was good quality fish but underseasoned as well.Maybe it was just an off night but I cant say we would go back to find out after my wallet got fleeced.
Had work dinner and the food was very good. What was even better was the service. The manager or owner noticed one of our party wasnt eating their entree and asked what was wrong and what could he get in exchange. He inquired about why the food wasnt pleasant and then explained how he was going to inspect the other items to ensure other customers wouldnt have the same experience.
Great food, craft cocktails, service, and location! After an amazing meal, celebrating my wifes birthday, the 2 of us walked down Canton street and enjoyed the sites! We reccomend the grouper and pulled pork dishes! Im going to get the red fish next time! My wife loved her NOCA martini and I really enjoyed my Smokey Bear! Both were perfect for Summer! Be sure to get the creme brule with blueberries for dessert!
Depends on what you get. I really enjoyed my Salmon Oscar--it was a good size portion cooked perfectly with a light complementary sauce. Id order that again. On the other hand, my wife ordered the Chicken Radiatore. The menu describes it as chicken, veggies, and GF pasta with a wine sauce, but what they brought out was basically chicken noodle soup with dry chicken and proportionally not enough pasta. The sauce was more like a broth. And no, they didnt serve it with a soup spoon, so I dont think we were misunderstanding the menu.My brother got the rib-eye, which was a huge piece of meat! He seemed to enjoy it, though not blown away.I think their mistake is that the menu is too big. I like all the options and love trying new things, but they would be better off doing a few items well rather than trying to branch out so far.The service was great and the patio was pleasant. But I plan on trying some other restaurants on Canton before coming back to NOCA.
Been here many times, this restaurant advertises specials to draw you in, but then youre disappointed to find out that the special is sold out after youve already ordered and been here a while. The menu food is at best just okay...some items are better than others, but nothing is great. I come here for the steamed lobster, only to be told 15-20 minutes into the meal, that they have run out. This happens approx. 60% of the time, so if you want a lobster here, you have to order and tell them bring it immediately...dont bother with coursing your meal. Charlotte is their only saving grace, excellent bartender and PR rep. who bought my drinks, so I decided to try the burger..and it was just okay. Id gladly pay more for the lobster, if I knew I would actually get one.
Ate Sunday dinner with my family (7 people total), after seeing a play at the GET. Due to weather and the Falcons game, it was a slow night for them. The food - Amazing. I had the Tuna which is normally served meduim rare but they cooked it more for me. The Grouper and Crab cakes were great as well (sampled them). The drinks - good. Im not a big drinker but our server, Mark, knew a great deal about their selection, which did take up half the menu. The Peach Princess and the Attitude Adjustment martinis were delicious. The dessert - good. We split a brownie cake with ice cream, 2 blueberries cobblers with ice cream and a creme brulee between the 7 of us. One dessert can easily be split between 2 people. The service - we have high praise for our server, Mark. Having worked there for 3 years, he knew the menu and drinks in detail, and was always there right when we needed him.Price - we spent roughly $65 per person which was so worth it. Everything was fantastic.
Update: Ordered exactly the same lobster and sides on our second NOCA date--it was wonderful! Kudos for the sound abatement in the main dining room, as we could talk, despite the full house! See you next Thursday!$16 1.5lbs Lobster EVERY THURSDAY! The first bite was worth the $16, and the risotto and sprouts made for the perfect complement. Thank you Charlotte for your great service, especially in light of the large crowd you handled with such grace. Literally, u could eat this 🦞 every Thursday FOREVERMORE!
I took my friend out for her birthday on 08/15/2018 and for our first time being there I must say this is a wonderful restaurant! Our server was training another server but they both were amazing! My friend is a chef and I had to make sure I took her to a up to par restaurant lol. Noca did not disappoint! The bacon wrapped scallops were amazing!!! And the drinks are very tasty! Cannot wait to go back and try other dishes! ❤️
Had an excellent experience on the patio tonight... we dined on appetizers and can highly recommend the Lamb Lollipops, the Dynomite shrimp, and the blueberry cobbler. Everything was good, but these really stood out.Michael (GM) has done a fine job building a great team that delivers a wonderful experience. Our server Robin was very pleasant, yet professional, and the hostess was caught refilling water at the various table on the patio when she wasnt busy!Very nice and highly recommend checking it out if you are in the area. And if your dog is well behaved, they will be welcome on the patio!
The menu options looked very inviting. I was very much looking forward to eating there. Then when we got there our server said lamb was on the menu for that evening. Without hesitation thats what I ordered and was TOTALLY disappointed. The meal was lukewarm and the quantity left a lot to be desired as did the flavor ☹️ I thought noca would redeem themselves with the dessert that again sounded divine. But that was also another huge disappointment. There were six people in my party and four of us were disappointed with our meals. And we all ordered different things. I wouldnt go back
We have been to this restaurant twice since moving near Roswell. On both occasions my spouse had the lobster, and it was good. On both occasions I have not ordered the lobster, but have sent back 3 inedible dishes. I’m not one to send back food if it’s ‘ok’, but these 3 dishes (that had huge potential to be edible) rated below Red. Bruschetta - both the original and replacement inedible. Bread toasted to tree bark consistently, and vinaigrette dressing so thick it could have been an undiluted concentrate. We gave up that particular meal.We went back on another occasion. First of all, the food took well over 45 minutes to arrive, it was unfortunately not worth the wait. My first dish - whoah - salt overload. Sent this back after 3 bites, and asked for something else - salt being the reason - and requested the ‘something else’ without salt.Well After my spouse had finished their dish, and being extraordinarily hungry still, I received the ‘something else’ - yet again far too heavy on the salt (yes, they added it), and sauce way too salty. As someone who’s used to highly seasoned dishes, and knowing the number of good reviews of this restaurant, I can only put it down to incredibly bad luck for me (and spouse who wanted a pleasant evening) for choosing those nights - and that chef - for the servers who had to handle this, and the restaurant for losing our business. Shame. We dine out a LOT.I’m giving 2 stars only for the servers and the fact that my spouse enjoyed the lobster.
The duck confit was amazing. The whiskey cocktails are complicated and nice. The server was attentive without hovering. It helped that we had a late dinner, so it wasnt busy, yet it still felt homey. My friend loved the ahi tuna entree. The truffle frites are fantastic if you need some truffle and parmesan in your life. The whiskey collection is immense for the neat drinkers. Food service was efficient; we definitely were not wondering where any food was at any moment. Will definitely be coming back soon!Free parking in the lot behind the restaurant, which is clutch in historic Roswell.
I love this place! Great atmosphere and my server Carola always does a fantastic job, she remember the little and special things both my parents and I enjoy. She always remembers our names and makes me feel like I’m her only customer she’s waiting on even when it’s extremely busy. She makes my visits to NOCA that much more memorable when I visit.
It was my first time dining at NOCA. My friends and I were celebrating my birthday. The ambiance was lovely, the food was excellent (I had the veal snitzell, the blueberry cobbler was to die for and our server, Charlotte was professional, friendly and completed the perfect dining experience. I will be back. 👍
NOCA is THE finest restaurant Ive eaten at in a very long time! The exquisite menu selections, the service, the ambiance...It has it all! Every bite was as flavorful as it could be! We were a party of 4, and we all feel the same way! This restaurant is a real gem! Maria Greener 10/22/2018
This is one of our Roswell go to places with ample valet parking, a lovely patio, bar and inside eating areas. I had their mussels appetizer and it was terrific. My husband had weiner schnitzel and felt it had too much breading. Otherwise they would have gotten a five star rating.
Mushroom Soup and the Braised Beef Flat Bread were very tasty. Lobster Crab Cake, Mashed Potatoes and Crab Dip were underseasoned and the Shredded Brussel Sprout Salad was a bit underdressed. Non of the flavors were bad, they just came up a little short. The outdoor seating was delightful with a fire pit in the middle and portable heaters as needed. The service was also top notch, a lovely lady with an accent, maybe from somewhere in the Caribbean, I couldnt quite place it.Ill be back, just not in a hurry.
This place is darling on the inside. I absolutely love the atmosphere, very upscale modern and it looked like it had a nice bar area. The reason this place gets 3 stars is because the food was very eh. It wasnt bad, but it wasnt great and for the price of the dinner, I thought it was a little much for the quality of the food. Our waiter was new so he messed up a few times and Im fine with having new people wait on me, but our water glasses were empty almost the entire night. Thats my biggest pet peeve, and especially to see my step dad not have a drink for almost the entire night really bothered me. I dont think their sections were set up very well because our waiter disappeared on the regular (the restaurant isnt very big) so the fact that I couldnt see him for 60% of the night meant that he was probably running around in another room tending to other people so he couldnt see that our water glasses were empty. It also took us almost 45 minutes to get our food from when we ordered it. Which was rather ridiculous.I got the salmon Oscar, which was good, but kind of cold like it had sat on a heating window for too long. My fiances Ribeye was pretty awful for a 30$ ribeye. Ive honestly cooked better steaks at home than what was given to us. The appetizers were pretty good though, we got the Calamari and the Firecracker shrimp. Overall, I probably wont ever return unless someone else is footing the bill. Just with the service and the eh quality of food, it was much too expensive to really want to go again.
I came here for a late Valentines dinner with my wife. We had heard some good things about NOCA and I can add to those praises now. The atmosphere is casual, but upscale and intimate at the same time. There seem to be at least 2 seating areas for really large groups. One has its own room that can be closed off if need be and the other is by the bar. There is a unique bar that seems to open up on one side to the outdoor seating area with a fire pit, which I loved, but it was raining, so we sat inside for our dinner. Im looking forward to trying that another time though. We had heard the burgers were great and since we happened to be there on Monday night (aka $5 Burger Night) we both ordered burgers and some sides. My wife got the Frites with Truffle Oil and I got the Mac and Cheese. We also got an appetizer of Crab Stuffed Portobello Mushrooms which were crazy good. Everything was fantastic. Our burgers were cooked as ordered with additional fried onions on both which was great. I washed it all down with a delicious Left Hand Milk Stout which I was happily surprised to see on the menu. Afterwards, I barely had room but could not resist the White Chocolate Bread Pudding (I mean, who could right?). My instincts were correct and we ate what was quite possibly the best bread pudding ever. Do not pass this by if you are a fan of the bread pudding like me. The staff was courteous and prompt and the manager even made a quick and unobtrusive stop to check on how everything was. I think we are going to bring our Dining Out Group here to sample the rest of the menu which we saw a little of at other tables. I for one cant wait as it looked spectacular.
My husband and I wanted to celebrate our anniversary. We had seen Noca and wanted to give it a try. Well, we were so disappointed. We arrived about 6:00 on a Saturday night. We made our way around to the front door, but had difficulty getting in because the staff was hanging around blocking the door way. The restaurant was basically empty. A few table outside and inside were occupied otherwise no one was there. We were asked if we had reservations and we did not so we said no, but we wanted to give you a try. We were then told then that they had no table available for us except for one outside. While I understand popular restaurants sometimes require reservations, but they are usually very full. In that case it is understandable when they cannot accommodate you, but this place was virtually empty and yet they had no tables available. Mind you there was no line at the door either. I found this experience very off putting. They seemed a little big for their britches. Needless to say we did not stay and will not never return. Our evening turned out very well however, we went down the street to Slate and had a fabulous meal and a wonderful time.
Those of us from New England miss our lobster. NOCAs Thursday night boiled whole live lobster in March they fly in cannot be beat. Top notch and as good as one can get in Boston. Have to go to Maine to get better. Much better than that chain place in downtown Atlanta. Carola gave us great service
My wife made a reservation in this restaurant & we were a group of six of my close friends & I can tell you that they didn’t disappoint us.The atmosphere was quiet & serene , restaurant was clean very friendly staff,we were served by this young beautiful energetic gal called Carola always smiling despite being busy, coz it was on a Sunday & very busy & by the way it’s advisable to reserve before you go because the place fills & their food especially steak is phenomenal, I loved it & we’re planning to go back again & again especially my birthday is coming .

The chef came by the table to see how we were enjoying the meal, and we really appreciated that! Not to mention the food was so good. 2022-06-26My friends 40th birthday party was at Northend this past weekend and the food/service was amazing. Great atmosphere and they also had the Braves vs. Dodgers game on as well. There were no complaints with the food. From the appetizers, steaks, salmon, salads, as well as the short rib sandwich (which is phenomenal), there was nothing but high praises from party. I would recommend this place to anyone.
