I brought my RX-8 in to have the steering rack replaced that I provided. Ive had the car to Mazda specialists for the same problem with no luck getting a permanent fix. After Bryan installed the new rack he called and said it still did not work. He traced the problem through the electrical system and found an obscure inline component had failed. He fixed the problem and the rack worked perfectly. He took the time to diagnose the root cause of the problem and fix a problem even Mazda expert mechanics missed. I was glad to have the new rack in since I track the car. However, had I brought it to Bryan first, the repair might have been a $40 component instead of a whole new rack.
I have been going to NFAC for many years and have had the best experience. Jimmy and Ryan explain things to me in a way that I can understand and offer very reasonable quotes and help me plan ahead so I can stay on budget. They are the most honest, professional, knowledgeable, skilled, helpful and friendly mechanics Ive ever known!! I highly recommend them to anyone for their car repairs and maintenance.
Everyone here is great to work with, including the friendly Black Lab who greets you at the door. The mechanics are honest and do quick work.

These guys are great. Brought in a jeep liberty with an engine light on. He diagnosed it as faulty ignition coil. Turns out he replaced that ignition coil a year and a half ago and he didnt think it should have gone bad so quickly so he replaced it again for free. Did you catch that? HE pointed out that he had previously replaced it and did it for free. These guys are honest, do great work and stand behind it. Ive had several car repairs done here and always happy with the results.
Best service!After taking my car to the dealership for a recalled airbag replacement, I was told it really needed some maintenance: Water pump, belt, oil pan, etc...The car being 10years old, I expected it and though the quote they gave me wasnt the highest, it was still pretty steep.I was looking for a mechanic OTP, close to my work, and North Fulton Auto Center kept coming back with the highest reviews.I emailed the owner, Jimmy, through their Yelp page for a quote and had an answer within minutes. I indicated I wanted to pay cash and get an idea of what the total would be.I work retail and thought I might need some extra shifts just to come up with the money.Jimmy gave me the best quote. Much lower than any of the other places I called.I took my car in and after inspection he told me the water pump, belt were just fine. He showed a very slow leak what I would need to keep an eye on.Honestly, I felt a bit stupid for wasting their time.I did need and oil change and transmission fluid replaced, which they did, very quickly, and at a very good price.I HIGHLY recommend North Fulton Auto Center.Ladies, if like me, you are a little nervous about mechanics trying to sell you repairs you dont need, just because you dont quite know what it is but they make it sound important, you can rest assure this will not happen there.And if you do need to wait while your car is being worked on, they have a very nice and clean waiting room.Thank you Jimmy & Ryan!

After spending nearly a year and 3 different diagnoses at other mechanics trying to get the truck to pass emissions, this team had me legal in nearly 2 hours. Dont go anywhere else first.They even went to the inspection place for me to ensure that it would pass.I had another issue with a previous car and they were honest and told me to take it to the dealership, instead of charging me an arm and a leg for as I came to find out, non-repairable issue that Mercedes recommended I dont fix.( I have since sold that car). I bought another and they did a pre-purchase inspection for 1/3 of the rate of the dealership.I have an American car and a German car, and this will be my auto repair company for as long as I am in Atlanta.

Weve used North Fulton Auto Center for the past 9 years. Jimmy and Ryan treat my family fairly, call to get approval before performing work, stick to their initial quote, and turnaround repairs quickly. Everybody has a guy for car repairs and our guy is NFAC. These guys are awesome.
My headlight lenses had frosted over. I tried multiple car parts store remedies and home fix it ideas. Nothing worked. Replacement was going to cost me well over $500. These guys looked at the new and used market for me and then suggested that they could give sanding a try. They did a fantastic job and saved me a ton of money. All of my experiences in the past have been equally positive. I dont know why anyone in the area would use any other shop!
Over the past nine years, Ryan has taken care of my 94 E320 coupe, the wifes 99 E430 sedan, and the familys 01 Honda Odyssey minivan. We recommend him VERY HIGHLY. While Id like to think that I can take care of my vehicles on my own, Ryan has helped me understand the difference between a professional and an amatuer. He knows cars like the palm of his hand. As a result, hes able to diagnose them very quickly and accurately. He also gets the job done correctly the first time. In addition, his pricing is VERY FAIR and he is VERY HONEST. You will always leave NFAC feeling like you received excellent service at a reasonable rate. Over the years I have had my cars repaired at several places. NFAC is the only shop where my wife and I feel COMPLETELY comfortable. As a result, we TRUST them 100% . As my wifes says, If Ryan said it needs to be fixed, it needs to be fixed!!!!! Since first meeting Ryan in 2005, I havent allowed anyone else to repair my cars.
Being a single female it’s really hard to find a auto repair shop who does the job correct and doesn’t try to take advantage of females who don’t know much about cars. Adding things that don’t need repairs or upping prices. This is by far the best auto repair service I’ve ever experienced! Honest, fast and work done properly! I fully recommed NFAC, good business good people.

2022-03-29I own a Mercedes C55 AMG that Brian has been servicing since I originally purchased it in 2014. Its hard to believe Im going on 8 years of service. I definitely recommend him for anyone with an AMG, as its hard to find mechanics that are AMG certified, honest and dont upsell on things you dont necessarily need.If youre looking for a mechanic definitely check out NFAC!

2021-12-29I took my recently purchased 2005 BMW Z4 there for maintenance and Bryan identified other various issues that needed to be addressed. He took the time to show me in detail where the issues were so that I could see for myself. He was very thorough and professional. My Z4 is now running great and I will be using NFAC for all future maintenance!

2021-09-29I highly recommend North Fulton Auto Center for any and all Mercedes repairs. It’s locally owned and operated by a 20 year certified, Mercedes mechanic. My “check engine” light came on yesterday and I dreaded what repairs that I might need. A friend told me to call NFAC since they take all their cars there. The owner, Brian Moffitt, worked on my car personally and did a great job explaining what repairs my car needed. Brian said that my car just needed a minor repair and now it runs better than ever. I’ve been going to RBM for years and I’m so happy that I found someone in Roswell to give me exceptional service at a reasonable rate. I honestly was tired of being over charged at RBM. Brian cares about his customers and is an exceptional mechanic.

2020-05-08My old Mercedes A/C wasn’t working and, after reading the universally superlative reviews of North Fulton Auto Center, I made an appointment with them. I couldn’t have been happier with the experience! They were extremely competent and professional, and had the repair done quickly and for a very reasonable price. Recently I had an issue with the electrical system. Ryan not only diagnosed the problem immediately, he took care of other significant issues and I had my car back in one day. Leaving their lot, I felt like I was driving a new car! At that time Ryan asked if I would like a replacement for my radio (that hadn’t worked in several years) and I was thrilled at the idea. Once again, he went above and beyond.The first time Ryan worked on my car, he said he thought he could repair my non-functioning convertible top. I had spent a small fortune with several “experts” and ended the experience a poorer person who still could not put her top down. After completing the recent repairs mentioned above, Ryan, with his knowledge and expertise, was able quickly to make my non-convertible a convertible again! Without hesitation, I would highly recommend North Fulton Auto Center.
