Bravo to the staff at North GA Watersports! I am no stranger to the boat business - my family had a marina and we had boats for years. Scott and his crew were simply amazing. Knowledgeable, on time, and exemplary customer service and care. I shopped another marine dealer in this area and I can tell. you there was no comparison. I highly recommend Scott and North GA Watersports whether you are a first time boat owner or looking to up your game. Try them!!
I purchased a used boat from this company in September of 2020. Upon purchase we found out that the previous owner had come down to the business and stripped the boat of one of the GPS/fish finder units which was shown in the pictures. They obviously had not been too gentle as the other gps/fishfinder did not work.After paying for the boat and working with one of the reps there, we put together a list of things that needed to be fixed before we picked up the boat. The list was pretty standard and the main focus was that the steering needed to be fixed (it was extremely stiff, dangerously so), all of the wiring needed to be replaced, and the boat needed to be cleaned.Four weeks later and the rep that had previously helped us was no longer with the company and we were assisted by a new rep. We were told the boat was ready to go so we drove over there to check and literally nothing on our list was complete. They forgot to install the new battery we bought, they mounted the trolling motor at a perpendicular angle to the boat, they installed the rod holders in the wrong place, no transom saver, all the hardware on the trailer was still rusted. He apologized and said that it will be done by next week.Fast forward 16 additional weeks, 5 trips (its a two and a half hour drive round trip), seven more it will be done Friday, and 3 technicians later, we finally get the opportunity to pick the boat up. I would like to note that each trip we made over there, we asked about the steering. We were very concerned about it. Each time we were told Yes, its fixed.Upon arriving in February of 2021, we asked if the steering was fixed and they replied Yes, we tested it out. We took our boat home, thankful that this chaos was finally behind us.The following week, we put the boat in the lake and I was unable to steer the boat without enormous effort. Now we need to take it to another mechanic in order to get this boat in working condition, something that should have been done months ago. Save yourself the headache and avoid this business. It was six months of lies, laziness, and utter calamity. I have never in my life experienced such poor customer service.

We purchased a 22 Bennington from North Ga Watersports from Apraha (Sales Rep) who has been fantastic from our first meeting and is still following up with us on our boat and satisfaction well after closing. Apraha introduced us to Josh the Marina and Boat Rental Mgr. Josh is also top shelf! He got us a slip and has also offered us all types of services and assistance since our purchase! These two have made purchasing, slip rental and storage of our trailer a seamless transaction. We love everything about North Ga Watersports and these two employees are the BEST!!!!
The easiest and best place to get a boat the sales manager Apraha is on top of her game super easy to deal with always friendly. wife and i walked away with a new boat and a new friend highly highly recommend !!!!
I am totally delighted with my recent purchase of a pontoon boat at North Georgia Watersports. Ive never owned a boat before so I brought along my boat expert friends to help me. The team at North Georgia Watersports went totally above and beyond in answering all of our questions, getting us sorted with a test drive, compression testing the engine, and doing everything possible to ensure that we were completely satisfied with our purchase. From initial viewing to contract signature the end-to-end experience was customer focused and a real joy. My personal thanks to Jules and Micheal for making my first time boat buying experience an educational and fun experience.
I would definitely recommend these guys. Theyre located pretty far from me, but it is worth it.A few awesome things about them:• you actually get to water test the boats before buying• they are knowledgeable about their inventory unlike several dealerships around lake lanier• the staff is mostly very personable• they have Jules!I worked with Jules and you could not get someone better to work with. To start with, you will leave in a better mood than you came when working with him. He has a VERY contagious positive/ happy attitude, and its great! He is extremely sweet, honest, and someone you can genuinely trust. He doesnt just try to just push a sale. He builds a professional relationship with you. If anything happens that you are not happy about, he does everything he can to make it better. This was my first boat so there was a lot of stuff I was honestly clueless about. Jules actually took the time to explain things to us. He is definitely one of the best people I have ever met.
I bought an 18 foot Sun Tracker Party Barge this week from North Georgia Watersports. Due to the virus I had to do everything online. Scott was cordial and very helpful. He responded quickly to all my enquires and offered a couple of options to suit me. Delivery was right on time. We love our new boat!
If you are looking to buy a new boat dont waste you time with this company. They apparently have little to no concern with selling a new boat what so ever. I was looking to buy a new boat from them. They use Priority One Financial Services. After going into North Georgia Watersports, and filling out a credit application. I got one phone call from Priority One Financial Services the same day, to confirm my credit was good to go and they would be in touch with offers of payments etc. Well over a week later and not one word from them or North Georgia Watersports.(you would think they would follow up if they want to sell boats) I called North Georgia Watersports, they said they would reach out to Priority One Financial Services, and I should hear back from them soon. You guessed it, over 2 weeks and still no word from neither Priority One Financial Services or North Georgia Watersports. Luckily I didnt waste my time waiting on a response from North Georgia Watersports or Priority One Financial Services as neither seem to care about sales or their customers. I called Bass Pro Shops after the first week on a Friday and had approval next day on Saturday and purchased my new boat! My advice to anyone that plan on using this company is DONT waste you time and just go to Bass Pro or another GOOD boat dealership!! Id gave 0 stars but we all know ya have to give atleast 1 star just to do a review....
Customer service is excellent! Jules has always gone above and beyond as with the entire staff. They have boats, jet skis, and other water toys to rent. We keep our pontoon in their slip and they also maintain our boat and jet ski. Great job NGWS! ⚓️ 🚤
Very personable before the purchase. Good communication during the purchase. Delivery was quick. Simple paperwork process. Things that kept me from a 5 star. 1)I asked them to remove a decal before delivery and they removed it using a razor blade on the gel coat of the jet ski. So while it was in great condition with the pictures I now have scratches all over the front of my jet ski. Annoying and unnecessary. 2)The used trailer they sold me was a little slapped together. Rather than recapped bunks, they just put carpet over ripped carpet. I had to redo it all. 3) follow up. No one ever asked me about the waverunner I bought. No customer follow up.
After hunting the internet and visiting even closer dealerships we finally found our boat at North Georgia Watersports but we found so much more . . . . we found customer service beyond our expectations and a helpful staff to meet every need. We could not be happier and we are in love with our new boat. Why the 5 stars? Because they are worth the drive it takes to see for yourself.
Scott and Jewels were great to work with! We drove from TN to visit a couple of dealerships and made the right choice to return to NG Watersports! When we got home after the sale and had questions about the boat we got immediate answers and help! When its time to upgrade we will definitely return to see Scott and Jewels!
Recently rented a boat, the girl who assisted me, Natalie, was super helpful and went out of her way to ensure I had a great experience. Overall 10/10 and would definitely recommend.

This place is only receiving a one star because that is the lowest option. The customer service here is a disgrace and I am awaiting a response from BBB. The manager Scott? never takes or returns a phone call. The treatment to both customers and employees is completely unacceptable. I will say that I am writing this review on behalf of a relative that recently worked with this company. I myself have been a business owner for over 30 years and never have I heard of such practices taking place. I would love to elaborate more on the shady things this place of business is doing but if I were the consumer, I would definitely steer clear.
The guys at NGWS were fantastic to work with. I was looking for wave runners for a few weeks and was lucky to find this shop in Blairsville. They had great inventory, provided great custom service, and were super easy to work with. Give Allen, Kevin, or Scott a call if you are in need of a boat.
I bought a great boat (Well under MSRP) on Wednesday, had trolling motor, fish finder installed, a full detail, and was water tested and readyto pick up Saturday morning! These guys went above and beyond to getme on the water for the weekend. Was a great experience. I will continueto do business with North Georgia Water Sports.
I was looking for a PWC and was having very bad experiences with new and used dealers. I emailed them about a ski and their response time and willingness to try to help me was amazing. I was unable to purchase ski but not by them not trying to work a deal within my limits financially. Great experience, would recommend.
Enjoyed doing business great sales team, staff is very friendly and answered all questions. I purchased a suzuki 150,Motor is top notch love it very quite and quick responsive. Great motor.
We drove over 2 hours to go pay cash for a boat to get there and be pushed away like they didnt want to sell us anything.. They jacked up the price another $2,000 more instead of cutting us a deal. Wasted time... Customer service is horrible..
I shopped several boat dealers and was increasingly frustrated with the lack of customer service before finding N. GA Watersports. They were the exact opposite and were a pleasure to work with. Scott was awesome with the information he provided and quickly returned phone calls and texts. What was also impressive was their service after the sale. There was a broken knob under the seat and all it took was a quick text message to receive another one. I highly recommend them and will use them again in the future.
I really wish that reviews allowed you to leave negative stars so I will settle for 1. I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone. It is the absolute worst experience I have ever seen. There are a couple of places just a few miles from them that you should definitely check out. We tried to buy a $46000 pontoon from this company and was treated as if we didnt matter, promises broken, lied to and absolutely no communication. Dont let the friendliness and helpfulness on ur first visit fool you. Get everything in writing and avoid buying a new one. Not worth the time and aggravation.
My wife and I went to North Georgia Watersports when we first started looking to purchase a new Tritoon, the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We shopped around at other dealers but the customer service we received at North Georgia Watersports brought us back to them. We purchased a 26 Foot Tahoe Tritoon and could not be happier! The team at North Georgia Watersports has done a great job of taking care of the customer. The ease of purchasing a boat and then putting it in their marina was a huge plus for us. I look forward to working with them again in the future!
Very poor dealership! Lied about a boat I wanted to purchase saying they still had to check out the motor,when the add said it was water ready, then sold it out from under me! Sent me more higher priced options then I said make me a good offer one that I was interested in and now they wont call me back! Glad I didnt make the drive! Going to Florida ! P.S. General manager called me and apologized for the miscommunication. I will give them a chance to earn my business! I will right an updated review in the future.

Put in several requests and got an email from the sales manager, stating she was in meetings all day and would get back to me tonight or tomorrow. I sent another reply stating I had been talking to another dealership (with aggressive pricing) and that Id greatly appreciate pricing info from them. I never heard another thing, even after using the Crestliner site twice (which sends automated emails to the dealer and consumer). You make it easy to pick a dealership when you totally blow off a customer! My guess is they knew they wouldnt move much on the price and are only interested in people willing to pay full MSRP on a boat. Good luck with that.

Ordered a boat. paid for it up front. was told I would have it the end of February. told them I wanted my money back at the end of March. So they call and offer me a larger motor. I agree to accept. picked up boat today. shafted me on the motor, no cover, as they said it came with one, and prop is bent!! NEVER AGAIN!!! poor service and poor dealership practices!!!
We drove a long way to see the boats and could not even test drive them. They pretty much all needed cleaning. Prices seemed a little high

Jules went the extra mile for us delivering the boat to our house and we couldnt be more pleased with the whole experience. It has been a couple months now and havent had the first issue with the boat- great company with caliber people.
The follow up from sales person was sub-par. Their used units are “rough” Not worth the drive up from ATL.
Not sure how they are still in business. Completely unorganized and unprofessional. They make empty promises and have no end of excuses. I strongly advise against giving them your business.
Had a great day cruising down the picturesque Lake Nottely with my family. We settled in near the dam for lunch, diving and sliding down the slide. The grandkids had a blast. The crew at North GA Watersports were helpful and made sure our needs were met. Well be back.
Purchased a pontoon boat and had some motor problems, they were prompt in correcting the issue and even traveled in excess of 100 miles to fix it and offered to bring a trailer should they need to take it out of the water. Very impressed and pleased to recommend them.
I have rented boats from them several times and each time our experience was excellent. I would not go anywhere else.

2022-06-27We recently purchased a used boat from these guys. I have to give them 5 stars for their sales staff, service staff and finance staff. They went above and beyond to make our experience a great experience. While we all encountered some unexpected issues (probably expected from buying a used boat) they have their standards and stood by them. From sales to service they are an amazing group of people. 2021-06-20Absolutely the best rental experience ever. The customer service is top notch. Everyone was professional from the reservation to the check out. The staff suggested the baits and there was a shop right next door. Checkin was super easy. The pontoon boat was new and very clean and well taken care of of. We recommend doing business with North GA Watersports. Wish there was some signs on the way back we got turned around using our phone map but we made it back in time. Thanks for a great Father’s Day weekend!

2022-02-21Service is unacceptable.I brought in my boat (which was new 12/2020) because the speakers were cutting out. That was in July 2021. Since that time, I have had to bring it in twice more, and still do not have speakers that are working. Ive been told that a ticket was opened with the boat manufacturer. Ive been told that a ticket was opened with the sound system manufacturer. Ive been promised call backs from the service department which never occurred. Ive personally gone into this business over a half dozen times, the last time I was there, I requested that the owner contact me. I left my phone number as well as my email address. Over a month later, I have not been contacted.I know several locals who have interacted with this business, and none of them has a positive opinion. If you have options, my recommendation is to take your business elsewhere.

2019-10-31Purchased a new 25 Ft Tahoe LTZ. The whole experience, from being shown 4 different models to negotiating the final deal, organizing financing, delivery of the boat and being taught how to operate and dock it has been 5 Star! Scott, Michael and the rest of the North Georgia Water Sports team couldnt have been more professional and pleasant to deal with. Highly recommend this business!
