I would recommend this shop to anyone. I used them on two occasions when my normal shop was too busy or if they could not correct an issue and both times North Hall Tire and Wheel not only completed the work in a professional manner but it was also at a very reasonable price. They have worked on my several of my cars recently and I have not had any problems with the service or the length of time they take. I have now started to use them as my regular repair sop because they have proven to be professional, honest and fast.

I hit something that looked like a fist sized rock on 85. It took a chunk out of my tire. These guys had a new and affordable set on hand and got me back out on the road in time to make my appointments. I was also able to get my work done while they took care of the tires! They made my inconvenience much less of an inconvenience than it could have been!
I have purchased tires multiple times from this business and was satisfied with the price and service I received. If quality can be measured by the volume of customers that flock to their store then these guys are among the best. When I pass by the store there lobby is full of folks seeking their services.

This place makes you family the moment you walk through the doors. I can’t say enough about how wonderful their customer service is, not only while you are there getting your car serviced but when you leave as well! There has been several times where they could of made money off me and instead they tell me “it’s not time or I have x amount!of miles left etc.They are genuine, honest and trustworthy. That is something you don’t find much of anymore!
We were on vacation, and unfortunately got a nail in our tire. My husband was able to get in first thing in the morning, and they graciously got the tire plugged immediately! My husband was super impressed by their customer service. Thanks North Hall for letting us get back to vacationing as soon as possible!
Best price on the tires that I was looking for and they got me in and out in a very reasonable amount of time especially to be as busy as they were. You cant ask for much more than that. Thanks guys!
Good prices.Pretty good service. But always busy so that means wait time was longer than Id like. But hey. Cant have it all my way. Gotta give a lil patients and appreciate the savings. At least they are nice ppl.
Came in last minute, and was in desperate need of tires being I’ve been driving on a spare for way too long. And since all of my other tires were basically bald, decided to get those changed too. Ended up being done wayyy before estimated, and had an oil change and an alignment for way better than any of the prices I had checked anywhere else! Thanks for taking care of me!!
I went there in need of a simple patch. The only reason I needed a shop was to pull the tire off of the rim and get whatever was inside out. Or I would have done the patch myself. I stood there after I told them what I needed twice for over an hour. I had already removed the tire for a convince to them. I waited and waited I get they were busy but I saw customers come after me and leave before me. I left and ran my errands I needed to run and went to TURNER TIRE they had me in and out within 15 minutes. So my recommendation is go to turner tire theyre a better company and dont ignore you like North hall does.
I stopped by Disount tire on my way home. I had one tire low and light on. I supposedly had a tire not servicable one at 2/32, 3/32, 4/32, 5/32. At least two needed replaced and it was really a good time to do all four.Then I went to the place I buy tires. It took discount longer to start talking to me than it did for North Hall Tire to fix the nail in my tire at no cost. I suppose that is better than the $519 Discount tire in Gainesville wanted to charge me. I will give you one guess where I will buy my tires next time:)
These guys absolutely been the most helpful and respectful Ive encountered ever! They CAME TO ME, took my tire off, took it back to replace it, and brought it back and put it back on. For no charge. NOW, I am only 2 miles down the road, so Im not sure how any further away would have affected the price, but helpful and respectful and the price of my tire was almost $50 cheaper than the cheapest place I found in dawsonville. Soooo, i say go to these guys!!Also Id like to put a special shout out to caleb who is the one who came out and Took the tire off, took it down the road and then brought it back brand new and put it back on. WITHOUT requesting more money. Amazing service super respectful, and even gave me a quote for my brakes and rotors for my next service.
04/10/21 Just had 4 tires (bought online) mounted and balanced. Also had an alignment done. Wonderful experience. Dropped off at 11:30ish and had it back before 2:30. They were super busy when I dropped off the car. I now know why! They did a wonderful job and the car tracks straight as an arrow. Also the price was spot on. It is getting harder and harder to find a good shop now a days! I will be using them for all my tire and alignment needs. Thank you NHTW!
They are awesome are not usually busy but today I had a screw in my tire stop by and they were packed took care of me in 5 minutes so I wouldnt be late for work really appreciate it thank you so much awesome people and would recommend it to everybody thanks for being a lifesaver
Stopped by for brake service on 4.6.21 and I will give them three words Honest, Trustworthy and Fair. I will continue trade with them. Dropped my vehicle off on Monday afternoon for an unknown noise. They had it diagnosed very quickly and ready for pick up Tuesday morning. Polite personnel and a fair price, they will get more of my business.

Ive been going here since 2007. My truck broke down in front of their shop. This was one of the best things to happen to me. They fixed my truck up quick and very reasonable. The service and quality of work is the best around. Theyll treat your vehicle like its their own and price the work needed more than fare. I say the work needed because they wont tell you this, that and those need replaced unless its actually needed. Their tire and wheel prices are unbeatable too! I trust them with all my family members vehicles. Every visit Ive experienced unmatched service and the best customer service by all the staff. This is a few of the many reasons I drive from Buford to get my vehicles serviced at North Hall Tires & Wheels. I look forward to another great 10+ year with North Hall Tires & Wheels. This place cranks out some service. Both visits I have watched their lot fill with customers, and their employees get them back on the road in no time. First visit here, I needed to have a rounded off lug removed. Was a little skeptical if they would be able to do it. They had absolutely no problem getting it off. Second visit was to have tires balanced and a alignment done. Same deal, in and out. Was a small wait. It was expected thoigh. Although its a slight drive to this place, I will definitely continue to bring my business here.
All our cars get new tires from these guys, because they are fairly priced and honest. I also go to them for routine services like alignments, brakes, etc. Just a great bunch of people.

Okay so kept two sets of takeoff from this company and car was doing just fine when I got them when I left I had lights going off for the parking brake and for this and for that that should not have been going off and that was not going off before they had my car. Then a few days later had to get another tire and they put the wrong size on the rim so it would not fit my car and they were closing by the time I got to my car to see if it would fit and whatnot so then had to take it back the next day I have another tire put on. Woke up the following morning and that tire was flat so would not recommend them.
Went to check on prices. They were very helpful, even though they were busy, much appreciated. They will have my future business when Im ready to purchase new tires.

I was very pleased with my experience! I was able to email back and forth with the owner about tire quotes and which brand I would like best. When my husband took my car up there on a Saturday he said they were slammed but they were finished in under an hour! My husband forgot to get the info to send in for a rebate on the tires so I again emailed the owner and he responded with the information I needed. Their prices were also the best around and I checked a lot of places. I will be returning with future business!

These guys are great as long as you only need tires, they failed me 2 out of 3 times getting an alignment, notified the owner and he wasnt very receptive of the criticism, but I would still recommend them for tires.

North Hall Tire is one of the few places where I trust the mechanics. They are always honest, fair and their prices typically beat all the others. They are also very good about working me in when I have a problem. You might have to wait a bit, but hey, good mechanics are in high demand!
Went to 3 tire shops Saturday morning to get 4 ATV tires mounted. Nobody wanted to mess with it and these guys had em done in about 40 minutes and they were busy. They wouldn’t let me help unload or load them out of my truck. They immediately had 3 guys gettin it done. The best customer service I’ve seen in years. I’m not even from Gainesville, I live in Forsyth county but I’ll definitely make the drive to give these guys my tire business.
Great service!I picked up a nail in my tire, so stopped by on a Friday at lunch time. Place was slammed. Guy behind the counter says 30 minutes. I figure that really meant 45 to an hour.Well they proved me wrong! 19 minutes later guy at the counter calls my name and says my car is ready!not only that - no charge to pull the nail and put in the plug.These folks are awesome and definitely get my business.tim

Paid for brand new tires... my truck immediately started shaking. Took to another shop in Cleveland and they diagnosed and corrected the problem. The reason was my brand new tires were improperly balanced.

Never will I use this place again. A simple tire alignment was all I needed. Now I am going to have to get it done again somewhere else. See that others had the same problems there too. Wish I would not have paid the bill in cash.
I’ve used NHT for years. They are honest, fairly priced and will shoot you straight no matter what the diagnosis is And it’s never been more apparent why than my most recent visit. Their entire team (Kyle especially) went above and beyond to help me diagnose the issue with my van before ultimately referring me to a specialist. Couldn’t recommend more highly.
After a little miscomunication they still managed to hookup my rv with new tires in less than 2 hrs. And very reasonable prices. Id give 10 stars if I could!

I have been coming here for the past 7 years and the customer service has reached an all time low. Im tired of walking in and being treated like a dumb***. I feel belittled every time I step foot in the shop. The employees treat me like Im stupid and Im over it. I have spent upwards of $6,000 on services and lift kits and all I get in return is bad looks and over charges. When they were swapping out my trucks spacers for coilovers, Justin called me and tried to charge an additional $100 of labor just to adjust coils that are nonadjustable. I received a second call from North Hall Tire informing me that the 3 inch coils (that were measured in length prior to shipment from the manufacturer) were 1.5. When I called them out they laughed and acted like I didnt know what i was talking about. I insisted i wasnt going to pay an additional $100 for bogus labor and Justin suddenly changed his mind and said it was 3 inches now. Weird right? This is my last time going to this skid mark on the underpants of society. 1 out of 5 stars because I cant leave zero stars.
The staff are very friendly! The are very good and helping you figure out what services your vehicle actually needs. I went in thinking that my vehicle needing new brakes and I was prepared to pay the high cost to get them changed. I was told after they examined my vehicle that my brakes were fine and in good condition. They could have just did what I was asking and get the money from me but they didnt. This act really established trust with me.
I guess my first visit isnt so nice compared to whats on their review there was a long wait but overall, very professional and within budget services. Clean wait room and all fun things.
This is the very best place to take your vehicle for all kinds of repair. The gentlemen there are extremely nice and you wont find more honest people that treat you with respect every visit. My family has been taking all of our vehicles there for 20 years. They are the first people we call when something goes wrong or for regular maintenance. Great service and even better workers. The owner, Mike, got us in and Justin helped my wife out with an issue she was having on her car. Justin was really polite and knew his stuff. Mike is as good as they come and goes above and beyond to make sure everything works out.

Done business with this place here and there over the years when its needed. All the way from purchase and installation of a set of tires down to something as simple as a wheel weight, this is a great place with good staff and always quick to help. There was one time I came in after calling about a certain set of tires for an old Firebird of mine and they had sold them before I was able to get there. But a tire shipment rolled in within an hour and they hooked me up with a different set and even discounted the price a little for the trouble. A+

Went here first time the other day. Needed a tire to replace one with a bulge in it. They were quick and the price was very reasonable for a new tire. My only complaint, they advertise over 3000 used tires on hand. When I asked about a used tire, I was quickly told they dont have any in stock. I find it hard to believe they stock that many used tires, and dont have a single one. Anyways, service was fine other than that.
These guys are grade A awesome. They’ve always takin great care of me and even helped me out in pinch a couple times. Love that’s its a locally owned place that actually cares about their customers. I’ve been coming here ever since I started driving and will continue to do so because of this. It’s great to have a place I can come to that isn’t shady or crooked.
Ive bought tires for my cars and trucks here in the past, but thats not the reason for my review today.I went by for an alignment on my small car due to what I thought was a very minor pull and they got me right in, even though things were busy. When the owner came back out to see me he explained that after checking multiple things (including a road test) that they really didnt do much to the car and couldnt justify charging me...so that was the bill...zero! They could have charged me the normal, full amount, but chose to be honest with me about my cars condition. They have also repaired my wifes tires at no charge multiple times in the past. Customer service like this is why I continue to have all my tire needs taken care of at North Hall Tire!

My wife and I went to two different places to get quotes on tires for her car. Compared apples to apples on tire size and brand. They not only beat the prices of the others we visited but were very helpful and polite. Best part is they beat the other quotes before they knew I had them. It was the first time I had done any business with North Hall Tire but will be back and send as many people as I can to them. Friendly service, great prices... Good personalized service from people who really know tires. I like that they know about tires that are of equal or better quality to more expensive tires but have a lower price. They have competitive prices on the big name tires with other big stores even!

I got two new tires put on my girlfriends car the day before leaving for a long road trip. I went to change the brakes that night and found that one of the lugs has been accidentally stripped. I took the car back to north hall tire first thing in the morning and they immediately started working on it. Within an hour the car was fixed and they even installed the last brake pad. They were really understanding about the situation and fixed everything free of charge and got us on the road for our trip quickly. My family and I have used them for years and will continue to do so because of the great service, honesty, and integrity that they provide.

I don’t normally write reviews but I felt I need to share. I have only gotten my oil changed there in my current vehicle. Today I decided to start changing my own oil again. It appears that they have used an impact on my drain plug. Completely stripped and can’t even get it to loosen with vise grips. Thanks guys!

Nice guys, but I dont think Ill be back. I purchased a set of tires from an online retailer and had North Hall Tire mount/balance them for me. I give the keys to one of the tire installers and they pulled the car around to the lift. I was outside and I hear the engine being revved. I look around the corner to see the car and there are a couple 20-something guys messing with stuff on my dash. Why do you have to rev the engine after the car is on the lift... as in the car is stationary... not moving? Why do you need to call your buddy over to prop up on my door and look at my dash? Then they noticed me staring at them and they got to work. I get the car back and the seat had been adjusted (not for leg room) and the radio station was changed. Really? You drove the car 26 feet from a parking spot to the shop. You need to change the radio station and adjust the lumbar support for that short of a drive? I guess this goes to show that you get what you pay for. Ill give the few extra dollars next time for professional service and reassurance that my car will not be treated like its on the set of Fast and the Furious.

Worst costumer service from any tire shop I have gone too. I let them use my lug key and they never returned it. Tried asking for it back and said I had to order another one. You’d expect them to have their own.

I bought tires from them. Service was ok. After a few months passes. My front end seemed to be steering itself at times. Went back for front alignment and told service writer about it and asked they take s good look at my front end. Honda Odyssey. I even went out and spoke to the very young mechanic and told him same thing. Later after I drove off it started same problem. I stopped in a mechanic shop and found that one of the two bolts in the a frame was gone and the other was hanging halfway out. So the whole wheel assemble was about to fall off. Went back and service writer apologized and offered a free oil change like that would cure his mechanic incompetence. This could easily caused a death. Never going back there.
I took my car for an alignment and they tried to align it 3 times and never got it right,they told me they couldnt align it, they messed my car up so bad it is undrivable at this point and has been down for a month. Not to mention they lost one of my lug nuts and I guess didn’t feel the need to find it or check all lug nuts to make sure they were all there. Will not even chance of going back. And the time frame estimates suck.
The people at North Hall Tire were very accommodating and able to get my tires swapped cheaply. However, one of the servicemen who changed my tires seemed to be having a hard time and damaged the outer edge of my wheel quite badly. Never heard bad things from North Hall Tire before maybe I came on a bad day.

The price of tires were good. However they broke the center part that goes in wheel and was not going to say anything. But my fiancee who got the tires for me, happen to see them trying to duck tape the back of the center piece and called it to the youngmans attention. He gave it to my fiancee to fix himself. Also the tires were not torked they had used the gun and tighten then to the limit. After words we had to attempt to remove one to put a part on my car and it was almost totally impossibly to remove. Took over 45 minutes to finally get it off.

I am a independent Mechanic who thought this would be a good place to work. It was the most disorderly and messy place i had ever seen. No one checks things like oil capacity or other very importaint things. They slap parts on with no real Diagnosis or technical procedure A lot of people come here but they are being mis led. This is not the place to be. I would not recomend this place to anyone.
Went to get my oil changed here like I have several times before. Car uses synthetic oil but they did not. I never mentioned it due to the fact the car had been there several times in the past for an oil change. Disappointing how they treat there customers too. Too busy of a place to care.

When I took the truck in, I thought it needed brakes, wheel bearings, and tires. Turns out, it just had a bad wheel bearing and needed tires. They shot straight, did a great job, and their prices were reasonable.

I went to this place to get an alignment and tire rotation. I left the shop with 2 scratched up wheels, greasy steering wheel and door handles, came in with 4 nice tire caps and left with 3. And alignment still NOT right, my truck is still pulling to the left.
Ive been coming here for years. Service is great and the guys are courteous and polite. I highly recommended North Hall Tire.

Took an hour for an oil change, and paid for full synthetic (5000 miles) but the reminder sticker says 3000 miles. What did I really get? I may have been tricked out of some $.

They do not know what they are doing and you should avoid at all cost. Spent all day getting a simple issue fixed and left with more issues. That I had to pay for. What a joke. Highly do not recommend

2022-05-19This place is absolutely incredible. The team is quick on thier feet and manage to service each customer as professionally and as efficiently possible as they can.True story I went over with a flat tire. The guy helping me out gets back to me with where the issue was. A nail had found its way through my tire, next thing the guy tells me well put a plug through it and then tells me that they wont charge me anything 🤯 mind blow and absolutely appreciate the service!

2022-03-16I called at 8:21 and they gave me a quote that was about $20 less than my usual discount store (I love my usual place but I moved further away and wanted to find something in my community). I asked if they could get them installed today and they said they could. I got to the store at about 8:30 and was driving home with my new tires at 8:53. Ive had express oil changes take longer, lol. I was literally laughing out loud in the car I was so happy. I have found my new tire store!

2021-12-21My alternator had to be replaced and Northall Tire was recommended to me, I carried my car , walked in they were busy, some one came out to greet me, very friendly and professional, they checked my car out and informed me , my alternator was bad, they worked on my car it was probably 1hour& a half it was ready! So far my car has been running great! Thanks for your quick and friendly service

2022-04-04I went for a oil change and brakes. I waited for 2 hours and they never even started on it. I called earlier that day to make sure they had time to do but I guess they didnt. Ill just take my business elsewhere.

2019-09-30I called and got Dusty on the phone and told him the situation. I said I had a wheel come off. I only want to tow this once. Can you all fix this or am I going to go pay too much somewhere else? Without hesitation he said to bring it on. I showed up with three wheels on a Saturday afternoon and drove it home Monday at 5. If these guys were ever going to gouge someone it would have been me and they didnt. Great price, quick turnaround and good people doing fair business. Ive been buying tires from them for four years now and theyve done what they said for the price they quoted.

2017-10-21DO NOT USE NORTH HALL TIRE. READ THIS REVIEW. I first reviewed this place with 5 stars! Big mistake. I went there with a slow leak. The technicians checked the tire and said they fixed it. Two days later the same tire was flat so I filled the tire with air and a week later my tire blew while I was driving down Thompson Bridge Road! North Hall only plugs the tires and this is a temporary fix. I took my car to Harrison Tire and they took great care of me! They took all my information, which North Hall never once even asked my name. So they dont even have a record of my coming. If something would have happened to the car or to a passenger because of the tire they could claim they have absolutely NO responsibility. Eventhough I spent two almost three hours there on a Saturday! I was told that plugging a tire should only be done until you can get to a tire place which I thought I was doing! This business is playing with peoples lives. And to top it off they scratched up three of my AMG rims to boot. Customer beware!

2022-01-19Honest dependableWe needed our car checked out and a neighbor shared about North Hall Tire. Said it was the best place in town to get honest work done at a reasonable price. We agree. Being new to the area we are so glad we found a place that is quick and what they say they do. We will be back for future needs.
