I was visiting the Mall area due to having to get a Covid 19 test for surgery. I had planned to eat lunch at the mall as well. Unfortunately the look and condition of the mall was a complete turn off. Over half of the stores o wanted to visit to shop was no longer available. I would recommend googling the mall before planning a visit. The parking in the front of the mall is under total reconstruction. This use to be one of my favorite malls to work at (Macys) and shop, but again due to the outer appearance this mall is off my visiting list. The store that i was attempting to do shopping was Victorias Secret and was saddened that it is permanently closed. So I advise if you are looking for future employment, eating or shopping. Google first.
Drove my Daughter/Navy Doctor to the Mall to rent a car at Avis. The Mall is under construction. About 5 retail stores and 2 food court options. I guess this mall is the Mall to go to if your date is ugly or you tryn to be low key. Just kidding. Good stores lots of social distance.
Not well lit. Place is kind of dark like its not in business. There were only 2 restaurants open in food court. Looks like there is construction going on inside. Barely any stores in this place that are open or in business. The stores that are open were nice to shop at but wasnt really worth the trip. Barely any customers shopping. Has 2 floors that I seen. I was looking for something that offered a better shoping experience so I can not reccomend this place.
This mall is hollowed out. I am saddened to see it fall from its original grandiose visuals. A malls food court always tells the tale when it comes to business and Northlakes court speaks of dismal awareness. None of the stores I came to shop at were currently operational. I ended up purchasing a pretzel, a cookie, and some Oriental food. Construction is on going near the back entrance of the building, so I am hopeful that this is a sign of better things to come.
Was there for my first dose of vaccine. All was extremely organized. Parking sufficient. Sign for entrance and exit clearly posted. Temperature taken at entrance. Given instructions to sit in waiting area to be called. Restrooms are available. You are accompanied by one of the monitors. When finally given by nurse, was told to sit and wait 15 minutes. All went well. Thank you Emory personnel. 😷☮🌹😷😷😷😷😷😷
I LOVE THIS MALL! Not many stores; yet the ones that are there are ON POINT from the barbershop/hair salons, shoes, handbags, the carts and all tastes in clothing! Furthermore, the PRICES ARE GREAT!!!!! I recommend as the mall transitions; to incorporate high-end outlet retailers (Polo, Coach, MK, Gucci, etc.) and possibly make it an outlet mall. I live in Las Vegas and we have two large outlet malls and they do VERY WELL! People fly in to shop the outlets okay? CONTINUED SUCCESS!
Its sad to see how dead this mall is...more than half the storefronts are already empty, escalators out of order, and theres only like 3 places to eat in the food court (an American Deli, burger place, and a Tokyo Express). Its nice to walk around in for a workout or if you want some peace and quiet though since theres not a lot of people. Will be interesting to see if the Emory facility planned here will help in revitalizing the mall.
The staff at the perfume and fine jewelry counter at Macys were so kind and professional. The gentleman at the watch kiosk was so friendly today and fixed the glass facing on my Coach watch. It looks lovely! Though, I am sad to see all the store closings at the mall, it is nice to find great customer service with the remaining vendors.
I was at the JCP closing sale last week and its pretty bleak on what was left over. JCP was always my go-to-store for school and holiday shopping for my family....now, its just a sad building with very little stores left inside. All of the major anchor stores are gone (except for Macys)....I still remember years ago when Northlake Mall was the neighborhood shopping Mall to get all your shopping done. The food court is sadly (almost) empty with only two remaining places to eat from. Not sure how long this Mall is going to last....but Im going to miss it when gone for good.
This mall is old and run down. It doesnt have very many stores left inside and the ones that are left are hot and have an odd old smell. They are also leaking from the ceiling so youll get water dropped on you. It does have some decent stores but most are going out of business so soon there will be nothing left inside of it.
Original 4 star Review from 2017...I went inside the mall for the first time in over a year and I was pleasantly surprised. Id only ever been to this mall once before. Were relatively new to the area and Id remembered it being very old and dark. But I had more time to spend here and I was surprised at how much nicer it was than I remembered. It is very clean and my children really enjoyed the water features. Several unique stores that I would like to check out again.Updated review: 10/9/18 Unfortunately, I must update this review from 4 stars to 2 stars. I was in the mall this afternoon and it looked very sad and unkempt. The mall has much fewer stores and none of the water features work anymore. It appeared dirty with visible dust balls on the elevator railings. Graffiti written into the elevator mirror. The lighting was very dark and at Macys the elevator was out of order. All in all the mall did not appear to be doing well.
This mall is going through some changes, but its going to be great . The location is perfect and even with the challenges, it has been maintained well. I hope it doesnt close. I would like to see a few more unique boutique stores to go along with Victoria Secret Jcpenny and Macys. We need to put some type of attraction , but not a movie theatre. Dave n Busters? Something for the whole family.
For Macy’s my favorite department store and the fountain! The chi in there was moving and wonderful in an enclosed space. I wonder why this Mall just never took off like Lenox. Must be the location and/or demographics. Developers need to rethink suburban design for density, security, farm to table dining, culturally diverse art, performance art and affordable live/work spaces.Sad to hear about Macys filing for bankruptcy. Hope the flagship store in Manhattan remains.
Its so depressing to see my old hangout from the 80s in this condition with most of the stores closed. I had so much fun memories growing up going to this mall if its great food court, and arcade. Everything was vibrant back in the day, now its just a empty shell of itself. So sad.
Emory healthcare has a huge location there to get the vaccination shots. Wait in your vehicle until you get the text to come in. Emory has done a great job organizing the location so that you go from line to line pretty fast until you get your shot. Lastly you sit in a holding area for fifteen minutes to make sure you dont have a bad reaction to the shot. Once the time is up you are released to leave. Thank you
We visited Northlake Mall for the Emory Health System that has acquired a number of buildings at Northlake Mall. We received our second covid-19 vaccinations at the old Kohls building which is now under Emory control. They were extremely friendly and very efficient cannot give them enough good kudos.
I love this mall. Its big, open, brightly lit and theres tons of stores to choose from. I love that theres a little watch repair place on the ground level (Jewelry and Watch Experts) where Ive been getting my batteries and watch bands for years. And the food court is very nice with many great places to choose from.
Dropped by the other day for one item at JCPenney. I was impressed! I didnt expect this to be nearly such a nice mall. It felt very fancy and we found exactly what we needed. Seemed well-kept. Plenty of parking, lots of space inside. Loved the water features! The only reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 is because I dont feel like I saw enough of the mall or spent long enough there to really know the full quality. Ill likely update after further visits.
I was shopping for a comforter set at Macy s I asked salesperson to help me, his name is Anthony he works in the home department. He looked on the the system to see if you all had it and you did, but it wasnt on the floor, he said maybe its on the dock , so went on the dock and found it! I was so excited and very please with the exceptional service he gave me . He went over and beyond. Thank you Anthony for your excellent customer service.
It was a mother and daughters day shopping trip. We were looking for something mommy could wear. My mother is elderly and is in a wheelchair. I and my sisters each have a specific job when it comes to her and shopping. Either I am or my older sister push her. However on this trip this mall has a Macys BUT IT NOT AS NICE AS THE ONE IN STONE CREST MALL. We ended up in JC PENNY and our mission was a success. Didnt have much of a food court. I am thinking if they put more store in and fixed up food court. It would attract more business. Us three girls were happy because mommy was happy with her two dress.
This was a cool and popular mall back in the day like in the 80s and 90s. Its pretty much dead, Most of the stores are closed and the ones that are open arent really worth looking into. The food court currently only has two food places open. An American Deli and a chinese spot. This mall is on its last leg just like pretty much all of the older malls in the dekalb area.
Awesome place. I love shopping here, butthese customers are constantly stealing from the store going to the shoe place trying on shoes and wearing them out the store if Im a customer and seeing this what is the security doing what is corporate doing the lady security guard act like she works at the store and doesnt even patrol the store stays in one section the managers dont have a clue what they do when they probably dont either I would like this to come up and exceed the standards of the Macys brand it has ginormous potential but its lacking guidance
You can tell this was a great mall back in the day, but has gone downhill. The decor of the mall itself was nice, but it was dark and lacked many stores. Of the stores that were in business there several were closed for business eventhough it was early evening (6pm or so) on a weekday. Not many recognizable national stores either. Didnt check out the food court, but it appeared limited based on signage.
I remember my first time coming to North lake Mall. It was December 2012. Everything was packed. Stores everywhere. I was just 8 years old. Outside TV had 24 hours of music videos and commericals. I remember the mini toys Rus. My mom bought me a Lego Mini figure. It was the greatest time of my life. I told Young me. This is what I call a true hangout. Food court was a blast. A place to be Happy. 8 years later. Everything is gone. No Sears. No GameStop. No Kohls. And now JCPenney is gone. North lake mall is now a place. Where you can take a walk. Buy your shoes. Go eat in the food court. I Look at everything that is gone. It gets me the vibe that your childhood is over. At the end. All good things must end. And move on.
I just want to know where all the stores went, and how is this “Mall” remaining open. The only decent stores left are Macy’s, JC Penney, Victoria’s Secret and Bath and Body Works. If you are looking for a prom dress or evening gown there are 10 stores to serve you that sell the same stuff. This place is holding on by a thread. It kinda feels like a step above a flea market. 😔
Where to even start with this place...I guess the good. The reason for the 1 star, parking, yes parking, plenty of space since there is next to nothing at this mall! The bad...nothing at this mall! Most stores are closed, or have strange hours. The directory lists several stores which are no longer available, the food court is nasty. There is one cool shop in the place, a collectors shop which I unfortunately cant recall the name of, but it is right near the main entrance. They have coins and cards and other collectable things. Watch where you wall since a lot of areas of the ceiling look to be caving in and molding. The escalator no longer works, and the elevator is sketchy to say the least. Stairs work of course, but again, watch your step! This has become the mall of daycare for elders, and I feel for them since there really isnt anything there to even look at.
Once a place to shop and dine has definately lost a lot of luster. Maybe its retail tenant mix from demographic changes has not find its way to landlord. At the same time I cannot understand they are surrounded by mid to high end apartments and yet Kohl, Sears and 1/5 of retailers are gone. Come on guys make some deals fill some spaces. But if you are in the area the burger joint in the food court area is very good.
Its like a mall but less shops. nice bargain in shoe dept.Yea theres vacant shops and maybe busineses closed down but that only means less people.if you like a nice quiet mall this is the place to go to.i liked the mall for it being a nice quiet mall this is not the place to go if you want a full mall experience.Only went there because i had to go into jc penny to pick up a order. When i first walked into the mall there was a guy playing a jazz instrument. & The first thing you see is jewelry shop & phone shop!
The international food festival was held here 2017! it only happens once or twice a year ! It was so much fun to see all the different cultures/ethnic backgrounds merge together for one event. I was able to experience all types of food and purchased different clothing items. The mall itself is okay. Macys womens shoe department could be a bit larger but ther than that the mall is just okay. If you are looking for a place to eat at the mall but do not want junk or fast food you should try FORK N THE ROAD restaurant attached to the mall.
The mall was nice but I had the absolute worse experience in Happy Land. Stay away from this store. The owner lied to me about his exchange policy and I had to get the same style of outfit in another size because he said his policy is exchange for the same thing and a couple days before we discussed if I change the outfit I can find something else and it would not matter the style of outfj
Was there to distribute FREE books to neighborhood students. Where the activity itself was successful and the courtesness of the mall staff, unfortunately, we had an issue with the hired security on duty.To ensure that each child got a book, one of the members went upstairs to greet families entering through the upstairs level. Security told her that she wasnt allowed to be upstairs. It wasnt as if she was soliciting book Sales, but only offering children to receive a free book.
This use to be one of my favorite malls. But it has gone down so much. It just looks dull and lifeless on inside as well as the outside. If these mall would realize people still love the hunt of a good bargain, good food and family entertainment. Have more culture things in the mall (Art shows, local bands, health, fitness, and cooking demos and also things geared towards family as well as the Senior Community. Make in known in the area and I think the malls have a chance to survive.
Like all malls, Northlake is another victim of online shopping. Most of the stores in the mall have closed, most recently Victorias Secret and Mens Warehouse. Macys and Pennys are the lone surviving anchor stores. But I love shopping at malls and Ill keep throwing my money at this one to do my part in helping to keep it viable.
We come here when its cold or raining to let our toddler walk around! Not many stores nor restaurants inside this mall. Very peaceful and comfortable to walk around without big crowds! I hate the way this mall is dwindling away, but only matter of time before it close.Update: I went to the mall today and Victoria secret is gone, bath& body works gone, and mens warehouse gone as if 01/12/2019.Mall just empty, which is sad. Only about 4 restaurant/fast food in food court.
This mall has half of the spaces closed. We walked into the food court to immediately see a gated space. The whole food court only has 4 or 5 restaurants, none that are easily recognized as a franchise or national chain. A few well known stores like Foot Locker, Bath & Body Works, and a huge JCPenney, but seemed to mostly be one off stores. Not a place I need to revisit.
This place is struggling and struggling hard. I stopped at this mall to make a visit at Kohls and Macys and when I walked in, it had a certain atmosphere that makes you think this place is going to die soon. Macys, which is one of the anchor tenants, just isnt the same as any other Macys. The mens stuff was extremely limited and the same probably could be said about the other departments. Just not the same. Kohls on the other hand was fairly big, clean, and well run.I stopped at the food court to see what that situation was like, and it had some generic mall food such as Mexican, Chinese, and pizza. Business must be tough because the guys behind the counter will be gunning for your business hard. Free samples galore and they will guilt you to make a purchase - be ready.Other than that, the mall is filled with some pretty generic stores that you probably never heard of. Clothing, newspaper stands, etc. The good? Its not that busy. You can have a pretty peaceful shopping experience here - weve all gotten a headache from a jam packed mall before. You wont get there here. The bad? Well, the selection and shopping experience isnt the best. So make sure you come in with the right expectations, and youll be fine.
I am constantly amazed this place is even still open. Most of the space is vacant like 80%!!The Food Court is A JOKE!! 2 places to eat at....all the rest have closed!!The only main anchors are JC Pennys and Macys BOTH OF WHICH ARE IN DIRE NEED OF RENOVATING!!How this mall continues to survive is BEYOND ME......If it were a person it would be ON LIFE SUPPORT....LOL!!
Its sad to see that many storefronts are empty at Northlake. This is still one of my favorite malls. There is Sears and JCPenneys. Theres also still a Macys open here. Im hoping some of the development thats happening around here will spill over into the small and keep it open.
JcPenny staff was very rude. The mall closed around 9 and no one informed us that they would lock the doors to the store. We were informed to exit from the only available exit at 9 p.m., its dark, parking lot abandoned, we had to walk all the way around the exterior of the mall to find our vehicle because NO ONE would let us exit the way we entered. Somewhat a scary experience considering we were visiting from out of town.
A mall thats a bit past its prime, the Northlake Mall is a nice place to walk around and do some light shopping. Its never particularly busy, but the people are friendly and you find nice deals here. The variety of stores is nice, too. Though, it seems to change up relatively often.
I visited a shop in the mall to make my t-shirts for a function. This is not the first time that Ive done business with this gentleman. @icreate82..... Hes amazing.... My shirts for the function are spectacular!!! He has the store right across from Diamond Bizarre.... Please note that he is not in the hallway but in an actual store. Jleunamme is the best and hes worth every penny!! Go check him out. One design is for the church. The other design is for my G-babies birthday..
Mall almost dead... So sad but Tokyo Express has the best bourbon chicken hands down. They should turn this into a huge club, auto mall with different car manufacturers or a multi restaurant complex with different restaurants to choy from and some inside rides... Just a thought
Came here for the first time the weekend before Christmas and the mall was empty! It blew my mind. Then I realize the only stores I recognized were Macys and JC Penny and Victorias secret and bath and body works. All the other stores looked like they belonged in a flea market. I found it curious that this mall contained none of the typical chain stores. The food court was dark and dingy with about 5 places to choose from none of which I recognized. Biggest turn off was the shoe repair shop sitting in the middle of the food court. How is anyone supposed to eat while staring at a bunch of dirty shoes in various stages of disrepair?I saw that there was a payless shoe store that was closed down way in the back of the mall. How the heck does a payless close down? Blew my mind. How is this mall still open? I guess Macys is whats keeping it alive. There are a bunch of plants scattered around the mall most of them dead. Management does not bother with upkeep. I guess because they know this place will be gone soon.
When I was younger me and my mom and sister used to come here all the time to buy our Christmas clothes. Its a laid-back Mall. Not too many people be over there. I did have one person to ask me recently have their clothes changed? Because she told me that they had started catering to the Indian people, and that the clothes looked like nothing. And yes she was speaking of Macys. The store does not have a JCPenneys, just to put that out there if anyone is looking. I told her I didnt see anything that looked like Indian clothing, but I told her to go check again because I dont know how long that was she speaking of her seeing them have clothes like that. That was inserting.
I have two malls near me, and out of the two I prefer the Northlake Mall because of the various stores it has to offer. There has been a few times that I have been in search of various items to pull together a full outfit, and was able to find all that I needed at this mall. Its no Lenox or Perimeter Mall, but it meets my needs and usually isnt crowded.
Nothing particularly special about this mall. It appears to be suffering economically. Theres an alarmingly high number of vacant store fronts and generic retailers calling Northlake Mall home. If not for the anchor stores there would be little reason to shop here. Otherwise, the mall is reasonably well maintained and security makes their presence known throughout the facility.
Who would not like a mall lol...😂😂, I love going too Northlake Mall, its always clean, great sales people here, great food, great items for great Prices. I would truly recommend going to this Mall, lots of exciting fun and the fair be on the opposite side of the mall in the parking lot, not the food court side but the other side of the Mall.
My daughter and I had the best time we purchased everything we set out to purchase while visiting at least six stores buying from all of them. We had a couple of different pretzel snacks at American cookie at the and took home a large cookie for her birthday it was delicious ready in minutes and still fresh the following day for her party. We went home with healthy items from GNC, clothes, jackets and pajamas from JCPenney and I dont remember where but we had leather belts custom made just for the special people on our Christmas list. I will be going back soon for things I did not get at a couple of stores Ive never been in because we ran out of time. I saw a very interesting vape shop if you vape. I did not go in. I had my little girl with me but its hard to miss.
Every time I think the mall cant get any worse, it does. Most of it closed and empty. Today I went to Fork in the Road restaurant and the doors were locked shut and not future address was posted. This is the worst mall ever. Now that fork in the road is gone, I will never revisit.
This was the very first mall I’ve ever been to! I used to race around that nice colorful fountain since I was three. I get really surprised when I went to that mall for community skills from Stripling Elementary and Rockbridge Elementary. The fountain was memorably beautiful!
Its a large mall with ever clothing stores the only benefit to it is its yearly Carnival right now from March 14th through the 24th theyre having a huge Carnival festival 20 tickets 20 bucks 2019 other than that its a huge boring mall with a African shop a number of food courts downstairs a few local vendors selling shirts (much are foreign) a decent bathroom a rackety elevator with graffiti written on the mirrors and piss on the ground! Cant wait until the small goes the way of ToyRUs and shut down
I didnt actually go inside but you can tell from driving up this is a deserted mall. Parking lot is 3 times the size of how many cars were actually there. My wife however spent over an hour in there trying to pickup our internet purchased/store delivered items which was a complete fiasco. I will keep to Lenox, Perimeter malls for my shopping.
I have shopped in this mall for over 5 years, the people and the tenants there are good people trying to make a living just like everyone else and Im glad to say that I think Northlake Mall is a peoples mall that have businesses that are trying to provide some but maybe not all merchandise to its customers. Some of you will be sad if this mall was to leave, Im just glad that I know this mall and if I need something that I know I cant find at Northlake, I just simply go somewhere else rather than complain. Complaints dont make the world turn, complaints stop it.
The developers who bought this mall from Simon Property Group have done absolutely nothing to improve the mall after Simon ran it into the ground and chased away the brand name stores. The mall isnt clean, the food court is pretty much empty now and the grounds and building look deplorable! Hard to believe Northlake and Perimeter were the same size and quality at one time. I miss the original Northlake Mall.
I know this mall isnt the most flashy or trendy place...but for me I really like it. Im not a fan of crowds of people and this mall offers a good selection of stores..Kohls(love), Sears (love), Macys, Foot locker, Lady foot locker, kids foot locker, JCPenney(love), The Limited (love) Bath and body works (love)...at least for me...Im glad high school boys dont hang around here and you dont have to plan an escape with the drones of people...gotta take the good with the bad : /
This mall seen to be heading more and more to the closing, most of the stores in this mall seen to always aiming to the hip hop culture just like Gwinnett Place Mall, still have a GameStop, Macys and JC Penny, but other than that, everything is bleh. The Mall still looks decent and nice, but there is less and less options.
This mal was convenient with the usual stores you find in malls but it was very empty. Im quite curious to see if this will be still open in few years. It was a bit sad walking in there and the global atmosphere does not give you the will to purchase things inside. Sad...
The Age of the American shopping mall is drawing to a close, this mall us an average example of such. While some effort has been expended towards the upkeep and maintenance of this mall, such will never again rise to its heyday in the 1970s and 1980s. In these times everything about this mall is drab and average, there are some decent stores, yet there is an overall feeling of inevitability as the slow decline continues. Variety and quality are in short supply as increasing space is taken up by secondhand discount stores.
This mall is okay, I like it and wouldnt avoid it. The anchor stores are Sears, Macys and JC Penny. Northlake is a good place to visit for cheap and colorful nightclub clothing and casual clothes. Its not a fancy mall like Lenox, but it works. Great variety of stores and many are owner operated. I would say you can find what youre looking for here. The mens department in JC Penny has a good selection of business shirts and ties in unique colors and patterns. I wouldnt recommend buying eye glasses at JC Penny because the optical department is poorly managed, so go to Sears for that. Northlake is a good place to find someone to fix your watch, buy shoes, or repair your cracked phone screen. Very accessible to public transportation, although if youre walking the area isnt extremely friendly as few sidewalks have been build around the mall complex. In the food court bathroom there is a small vending machine for tampons/pads but some misinformed person decided to stock it with bubblegum and other nonsense. Maybe they are confounded by the idea of tampons and pads; bubblegum really doesnt work the same way, you Northlake people. This is causing the mall to lose business as some of us have to unexpectedly leave to buy supplies. The decor is nice enough. I wouldnt call it a dead mall. Review posted 12/24/17
Honestly Northlake Mall is a mere shell of its former self. There arent many nationally recognized stores or eateries currently which is not all bad, however your local selection must be equally for to draw in consumers. I attend a dance class within the mall called Cosmic Energy Fitness Studio which is definitely one of the fee highlights remaining.
Love everything about Northlake Mall. Great diversity, family oriented, cant think of not one bad or discomforting experience with customer service, be it the stores and or the food court. I only feel - as some other malls - it is kinda deprived, even though its in a major area. Therere these little cart-like cars covered in some fuzzie designs and a few lights that the kids love!... Omgoodness!.. 2funny to see those big smiles on their little faces all lit-up having the time of their life. They carefully drive them around the bottom level of the mall. Excellent idea...why didnt I think of that! Thats what Im talkin-bout originallity.- S. Jackson, Avondale Estates, Ga. -
Actually, I was at the mall for the Night Market, which was in the parking lot. It was huge, an international market with food and goods vendors representing many countries, plus a stage with entertainment. People of all ages were out, and from all walks of life. It was fantastic! I hope Atlanta continues to hold these venues.
Don’t go to this mall!! Unless you liked being harassed by mall “security” who take there jobs way to seriously. I was racially profiled because i was wearing my hood coming out of the cold & I hadn’t even been in there longer than 3mins, meanwhile a elderly man was also wearing his hoodie and wasn’t stopped or harassed over something so simple. If you want to shop without being bothered by bored $7.25hr mall cops who have nothing else better to do and have as much authority as a can of soda DONT step foot in this mall.
This mall just like North Delkalb is dead the only stores here are JCP penny, Macys, Foot locker, Champs, journeys, Claires. If none of those are appealing then this mall isnt for you. No theres no movie theater either. Oh and to fix your phone or tablet screens here is about $150 and more.
Ownership has let this mall deteriorate in to a shell of its glory in the 70s and 80s. Half the shops on the lower level by Macys are closed and boarded up, while same is true of the shops on the upper level by Sears. Minus Macys and Pennys theres no reason to go in as the remaining shops only cater to a select group of individuals....very urban. Miss the days of the Gold Mine arcade, Record Bar and Turtles, Walden and B Dalton books, Farrells Ice Cream Parlor, etc. Makes me want to cry to see it the way it is today.
Unfortunately Northlake Mall has met the same fate as many malls in America: Internet retailers have caused declining sales. In effect, some of the anchor stores have left this mall. The inside of the mall is in good condition, but it some areas it feels like a ghost town, with a lot of retail space available after stores have closed and left.
Worst Santa ever! And even worse photographer! Santa didnt even ask my son what he wanted for Christmas, I had to prompt him. He never said ho ho ho, which I could get past except that he looked and acted so depressed and irritated the entire time. The camera woman was terrible with horrible timing. The little girl (about 1) in front of us gave her several good smiles and she missed them all. Our picture was also extremely bad and printed on an old printer that had terrible quality. Half of them printed blurry. She didnt even let us choose which picture to go with. It was a terrible experience.

2022-02-01I honestly forgot that this mall was even around I havent been to Northlake Mall in years, but its still good to see they still have a Macys in the mall because most of them are going out of business due to everybody ordering stuff online these days. I didnt get a chance to walk through the entire mall or the food court but I probably will be going back to Macys again and once Im done shopping there Ill go through the mall take more pictures and see whats left in the mall hopefully they dont end up closing this mall down and it can keep flourishing for the community

2022-06-17This just breaks my heart to see the way that this mall has deteriorated. I shopped there back in the ninety’s while visiting. Stayed at the hotel next door; which was walking distance. It was such a nice clean mall with nice stores. I really enjoyed the experience.

2021-06-20This mall is spacious, clean and well maintained. They have few shops like Macys, JC Penney in this mall. This mall has other stores including few eateries. Marta bus to Chamblee transit station is available at walkable distance from this mall. They have a spacious parking area.

2019-02-18Wow, this place is on its last legs. We went here mostly out of a morbid desire to survey the desolation of this dying mall. And believe me, it did not disappoint. Check out the horrifying pictures I took. This mall is mostly passed the stage of attracting normal retail and has moved on to weird stuff, as you can see from my pics.

2022-01-08I only go to Northlake Mall for Macys. The elevators in Macys and in the mall were not working which made the experience difficult for me and my granddaughter who has disabilities. I love Macys but Northlake Mall leaves a lot to be desired. Where did all the major stores go?

2022-01-16Two stars, but only because my truck windows were still intact after 30 minutes. If you want to smell like dirt weed after a trip to get a phone screen replaced, a stroll thru this dead zone of a mall is your best bet. Low rent, low class, low expectations.

2022-02-14Great mall it is currently under renovation however a few stores are still open like macy’s, foot locker, Claire’s and some food options. Hopefully this once it’s remodeled it will start bringing in new stores.

2021-12-29If you want to see what the demise of shopping malls looks like in real time, visit this place. Macys is still hanging on but all other anchor stores are shuttered as are many of the mall stalwarts pre-Amazon. It’s kinda sad to see but hopefully they can adapt this property to become a destination again—but it’s going to take some creativity.
