Most disgusting restrooms Ive ever seen! Honestly had high hopes for this spot but that was a big NO for me, I get its a bar but how about some hygiene?

The name says it all. Its a dive, but its kind of like the dive in the downtown area. Bartenders were pretty cool, but the people...there really isnt a way to describe the people. Just go see for yourself. They recently updated the bathrooms to make them bearable again, and the booths are almost always empty. Frequent location for live music, and if you love pool or darts, Nowhere has those, too.
This is an excellent dive bar to drink and chill with your friends. At the time that we went it was not crowded (due to school being out of session) and we had a very nice bartender. She was awesome. I can not remember her name though...? Anyways, my only qualms about this place was their beer selection and that they had nothing on tap. Otherwise, great place to go!

Was served by the red head in cat ears. WORST BARTENDER EVER!!!!!!!Im not usually one to complain about the happenings in such a seedy place as Nowhere(I love dive bars!) but this CHILD was rude, poured shitty drinks, and was giving more alcohol away than she was selling. The music and the rest of the staff were awesome! Unfortunately one bad seed ruined the whole bunch. Shorted me change on more than one occasion. I had to tell her the drink order several times, and it was definitely not loud/busy. I think she may be retarded. Or on too many drugs. Id say both. I love you Nowhere, but that sad excuse of an employee needs to go!
Some of the best live music in Athens. This is a hot spot for local musicians, and a great place to go if you want a taste of the real Athens music scene. This place is a dive, and theyre great at being that. Theyve got like 10 pool tables, and theyre all in pretty good shape.
Fun atmosphere, interesting people. Darts and pool tables. Good beer. Bring earplugs if they have a band. Way too loud.
There was bluegrass band performing. Pool is free to play, drinks are reasonably priced. No fancy cocktails available though

We love coming out and playing at this bar. The crowd is always fun and the staff is great. Right in the heart of athens and great for after party shows since right next to the Ga theatre. Cant wait to come back and play here again soon. Go dawgs
Bartenders are extremely friendly and free pool to challenge your friends or fellow bar patrons. Extremely loud during music acts and can get quite crowded.Loved this bar during college.

Im old school UGA Alumni, and I came back to visit while in town for a day, and I always loved coming here. Always have a decent band anytime... This time we saw Bobby and the Blue Flames, a bunch of local artists that came together, and were jammin...... Love it.
Some what of a reliable standard in a city that constantly changes. When others come and go, nowhere is there. Come for the cheap drinks, stay for the nightly live music and cheap drinks.

Great bar to relax and drink in if youre not a college kid or hipster. At least until the nearby venue lets out. Live music and friendly bar staff. Pool tables are ok but look like they havent been refelted since new. But its not a pool hall and the atmosphere is overall chill.
The people were not very friendly, customers or staff, they all seem to be kind of grumpy, plus there was a band that was playing too. So it was really loud. They dont have many pool sticks and the ones they do have are trash

2022-04-08The bar staff was great! Its a bar to play some pool (dont have to pay to play!!) and have some cheap beer, I know sometimes they have live bands too. I feel it has the same vibe as cutters when theyre not crowded on Thursdays.

2021-11-11Ive always been treated with the upmost respect just like everyone that goes there. My husband and I have been going to there since it became the Nowhere Bar. Sky definitely kept that place in order. George makes sure everything is run smoothly. He is really a great guy.

2021-12-20College hang out with a blend of locals. In passing thru to storm torn Kentucky, I stopped to chill n shoot, I was treated like family by all the college kids I interacted with,as well the staff is kind, ga rocks,ty for a great experience.
