Pathetic. Internet down going on 10 days and counting. Calls to support go unanswered. Emails to support go unanswered. The payment system for billing is the only thing that works.... Unfortunately my area has no alternative to switch to.Update 16 days, endless holds, no show for an appointment. The next day finally had a tech show up. At least the tech was friendly and had problem resolved after less than 5 minutes. Problem of course on their side. After 17 days, internet finally back.
Nulink has been unresponsive to emails and over an hour wait times on the telephone for the last 3 weeks. I have been trying to get a payment error corrected for over 2 months. My bank confirmed Nulink received and processed my payment. I forwarded the proof to Nulink several times. However, Nulink cant find it and has even disconnected my service last month. I paid the most recent bill but think its very unreasonable to make a second payment of the past due amount so that I can maintain service and avoid an interruption. At this point, Im willing to let them have the payment if they would just answer the phone so I can cancel. I dont need the stress of wondering about service continuation since Im working from home. Nulink has not lived up to par in regards to customer service. Its horrible.
Id love to support a small business but Nulink is easily one of the worst companies Ive had to work with. Their prices are on par with the large providers such as AT&T or Verizon but the speeds are a lot slower. That wouldnt be so bad but their service will go down for an hour or two randomly. Their customer service is the worst Ive ever seen. I have attempted to call them 4 separate times and each time Ive been on hold for an hour without ever speaking to anyone. I went to their offices during business hours and no one was there. If I treated my job the way these employees treat theirs, I would be fired without question.
If I could leave zero starts, that would still be way too much. When you pay for a service, you expect it to work ATLEAST the MAJORITY of the time! We have outages atleast 2-3 weekly for bouts of hours at a time! Bill increases nearly doubling without any kind of notification at all. And getting someone on the phone in a REASONABLE amount of time is out of the question. I have never called and not sat on hold for a minimum of 30 minutes, have had to call multiple times to get the same issue resolved with billing and get the run around but yet, when your AUTO PAY doesnt go through because of an expired card, they make sure to call you the next day. As I am sitting here typing this review, I have currently been on hold for an hour and fifteen minutes! Absolute trash of a company!
Absolutely abysmal service. Its one thing to be down 6 days without Internet after an EF4 tornado. By the way, we received a whole $5 credit on our bill. But as of Oct. 1, 2021, its been 3 days and counting AGAIN without internet and no explanation why. Ive been on hold for multiple hours and have heard the same from folks all over Coweta County. Do NOT do business with WOW. Since NuLink sold, the service has been awful. Its not local anymore. Do yourself a favor and find an alternative like I did. So long, NuLink/WOW
I continue to have issues with WOW/NuLink. I was on hold for 55 minutes. A representative picked up but never talked to me. I heard everything going on in the home. I heard cursing,baby crying and normal conversing between two adults. Not once was I acknowledged. The phone cut off after 8 minutes and 45 secs. Still no help.The service provided is not worth the price. The internet is inconsistent. Digital cable is too expensive to have minimum channels. Digital phone goes out every time it rains.
Ive lived in Newnan majority of my life and we have been customers of Nulink for many years. I must say that they offer not the best internet services for prices that dont match the services. I wish Nulink wasnt the only provider my area can use. I would change services if I could.I had late fees due to a representative getting my email wrong. I spoke to someone about it and they said they would try to get it waived but to no luck, I called back and no response or sign of this conversation. Although it was only $8. I wish they handled it with integrity. They charge you random fees such as the Customer appreciation fee for $1. Other companies can provide better speeds for internet for $30 a month. While Nulink still has some of the lowest speeds for the same price. I wish there was a different alternative because it is very sad that people are being ripped off.Due to the pandemic, Wait times have gotten worse and you can barely get a hold of anyone over the phone. Would get it negative stars if that was possible.
Used to be Ok but service keeps getting worse with Wow. Now a combination of expensive unreliable with appalling customer indifference. Tornados outed them for having no alternate site. Then Oct 1 they blew up their network making a update to cable TV. They refuse to post updates on their website. Phone systems are overwhelmed and if you do get thru they tell you nothing. You could be done for hours or days you dont know and they dont care
The internet service has been down since Nulink chose to do an upgrade. They have provided no information to update their customers when things might be resolved. They do not answer the phone..... They do not respond to emails sent to the hep desk. They caused a problem & are simply ignoring the customers who pay for their services.
Abysmal service. I have my business phone through them, and its been down three times this month: first for five days, then again for two days, and now Im down again two days and counting. Theyve closed the local office, so I cant reach anybody about the problems without waiting on hold an hour with their national office.
Unbelievably bad customer service. They fouled everything up today. The is was on hold for more than 4 hours and 20 minutes. Then the dingbat I was speaking with had the audacity to argue with me about whether I had any of their equipment or not (DVR). She repeatedly denied that I had their DVR when I’ve had one for years. Like old wouldn’t know whether I have a DVR or not. Then she found that I do have one one my account but that the status was changed today to “returned to truck.” She said she changed it back and it would be working when I returned home. But it isn’t and of course they are closed now. It wouldn’t be a big deal if it wasn’t college football season and tomorrow is Saturday. And after all of that she never apologized for being wrong when she insisted repeatedly that I didn’t have a DVR.
I was told that due to updates, my service would be out from midnight to 6am. I called around 7 and waited for almost an hour, just to be told it will be fixed by 9 am. I waited until a little after 9 am and called back.It is now 1:30 pm. No service and no answer.Looks like Im getting a new ISP. BAD LOOK NULINK/WOW!
Nulink sold us out!! Shame on you. Use to be great now its some jacked up company. My phone goes in and out. Ive been through 4 modem because theyre all refurbished. Waiting 1.5 hrs for online help. But they couldnt help so now i have a tech.coming out. When I call and FINALLY get someone I cant uderstand them. Use to be local agents. Not now. Hey how about a credit to my bill??????
Called at 9am and waited 45 min for customer rep; they spent another 30 min explaining big deals but then asked to run my credit to see if I was a previous customer and whether or not i owed them money or didnt return equipment; then waited another 15 min to be told my credit was locked and that I would need to call Experion to unlock and call them back. I did and called back and still waited another 30 minutes but the rep that answered told me i would have to speak with the same person and she wasnt available right now and he would have her call me back. I waited almost an hour before she called back to recheck my credit. Waited another 30 minutes for her to tell me she was not able to give me the price I would need to pay to get service started. The issue was she was waiting on sales rep to tell her what equipment I would need and how much it would cost me. Really? That process took almost 4 hours and at that point I had other things to do so I provided my cell phone with the promise they would call me and let me know total cost to sign up for Big Deal package. By 6pm no calls (surprise?). I dont believe a customer should have to wait ALL DAY to sign up for service. Something is wrong here that the customer service rep isnt equipped with prices for various equipment such that they could CLOSE THE DEAL. Now Im questioning whether or not I want to become a loyal pay-on-time customer???? BTW. my credit score is 790 so that should NEVER have been a problem.
If I could provide zero stars I would. Ive reached out multiple times since the tornado, Ive received no response. Ive not received any sort of generic email stating that services are being worked on and Ive been charged for the entire time Ive been out of services. I do not have time to sit on hold for an hour and a half and Im currently in the process of writing a physical letter to mail in hopes that something like that will be acknowledged. This is unacceptable. I understand that it is an unusual situation for a town to go through but there is no reason in this day and age to not have any form of communication to loyal customers.Also was just informed by the person whos installed my AT&T service that the NuLink line installer ZIP TIED my cable to my weatherhead. So one accidental snag from the bulk pickup trucks, my electrical service into my house is coming down too...
We have business fiber and the service is down more than it is up. Upload and download speeds are nowhere near what was promised (extreme variances between upload and download speeds when they should be roughly identical). Users have become completely unable to work remotely which is another factor driving us away given that at any time 25 - 40% of our workforce is on a jobsite or working remotely. We had one technician onsite who said our fiber equipment was very old and outdated. He was going to put in a work order for new equipment, but that was never processed and now he doesnt work there anymore (assuming they fired him for telling a customer the truth as our IT company agreed with his assessment of our equipment).
Seriously wish I could give zero stars! Horrible company... horrible service. I was charged 3 times for one month then told that bc I took too long (3 days!) that I had to pay as a new customer ANOTHER payment and a installation fee for equipment that is ALREADY INSTALLED!!!! RIP OFF!! All in one month I ended up paying close to $700!!!! DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE.
Just one more reason to cut the cable. NuLink no longer live streams Fox News. Hmmm, I wonder if they carry the other news outlets?Unfortunately, NuLink is the only physical cable provider for our neighborhood; weve been with them for 9 years. Now we have to negotiate our plan every year to get a promotional package. You miss their call and your bill jumps to over $200! Well be cutting the cable very soon!
I lived in an expensive apartment community in PTC prior to moving to a 3-level condo in Newnan. I had extreme wifi in PTC which never delivered as advertised and wasnt compatible with my smart tv. I thought all issues were over when I opted for ATT upon moving to Newnan; however, the fiber optics ran the prior year were not yet available for my condo, and the copper (coax) was supposed to provide 100mbps download speeds. Needless to say, I never received 100mbps on any device, or cumulatively for that matter. It turns out that the outdated router they provided was not capable of dispensing that bandwidth. In the following months, I received excuse after excuse, and they charged me $100 for installation when it was supposed to be free. Customer service repeatedly told me not to pay, they would fix, until a few months later when they refused to comp the install. Meanwhile, I never got above 50mbps download speed. I have dealt with ATT on and off over the years since 2001, and mostly because I would end up in an area where there were not choices for Xfinity or Comcast (far superior company), ATT has and always will be terrible. I give NuLink a 5-star rating because, for the first time in 3 years, I have exactly what I expected, 100mbps wifi, for only $29/mo. Everything Barbara promised (latest equipment, modem & router, with a booster for upstairs) was exactly as advertised. The best internet/wireless service, speeds, and price Ive had in years! After one year, not one issue has arisen!
On May 4 I called the office to make a payment on a credit card. After two attempts to use the automated service and being disconnected I decided to call. I was on hold for 39 minutes and 10 seconds before hanging up and trying another number only to be put on hold for 10 minutes before writing this review. I listened to several recordings, Your call is important to us.... and We are always looking for ways to improve.... So here is a way to improve greatly, answer the phone and maybe I will feel like my call is important. If you need help in your office, call me and Ill be glad to work and have a job. Your customer service can greatly be improved on and I will be glad to help you do that. Judy Tysinger
NuLink no service . For a company that is in the servic houre business NuLink couldnt do any worse if they tried. They basically dont offer any customer service because you just cant get in contact with them. Its a waste of time to try to call them because they just keep you on hold for ever, I was kept on hold for over an hour before I hung up. They have no physical customer service office, even though they say on their invoice(back) that they still have an office on 2A Jackson Street but this is incorrect. I have no choice but to switch to Spectrum.
I say this with all the conviction I can muster: NuLink is the worst ISP Ive ever had, and maybe one of the worst ISPs currently available. Id comment on the sub-par customer service and responsiveness more in detail, but seeing as my phone was constantly out due the quality of the service, it was rare that I made it that far. Consistent full-outtage issues month to month, and on a daily level, service would drop several times - sometimes even going as far as to drop every 20 minutes or so. Their infrastructure is awful, their website is poorly maintained, and when you can get a hold of someone (wait times may be between an hour and 3 years), the level of helpfulness varies from horrible to horrible-but-at-least-you-were-nice-about-it. Add to the fact that their advertised speeds are a load of garbage, and there are little to no redeeming qualities about this provider. If youve got options, avoid NuLink. Youll find better service elsewhere for the same competitive pricing.
I have an extensive tech background and can tell you nulink is the same as the other cable services. The quality of your signal depends on YOUR equipment. Get a brand name cable modem and router and it will be connected close to 24/7 like mine. (I have a netgear modem with a tp-link mesh router). I’ve had their service for 6 months and it’s only dropped once. Also, keep in mind with the way cable works you will have slowdowns in the evenings when everyone is streaming. Comcast was the same as was Spectrum. My ping, however, remains low even during the evenings so gaming is still ok. In the middle of the day I get close to my 100mbps subscription. For the price, I feel the service is adequate.
Worst Customer service ever! I have been on hold for over two hours waiting on customer service after Nulink did a channel reconfiguration 3 days ago. I have been without television ever since. They cant blame this one on Covid or a tornado. Its just pure lack of caring about their customers. WOW!! Not sure if I want to do business with a company in the future. I would have posted no stars if the survey would have allowed it.
Tried to call a couple of days in a row, nobody ever answered, on perpetual hold. Filled out a contact us sheet, nobody called. Was trying to switch from Xfinity to Nulink but if they cannot respond or answer a phone what will happen if i join them and my service goes out? Things that make you go hmmm.
I pay for the highest internet speed and they are still incredibly slow. i would definitely use another internet provider if i had the optionUPDATE 7/30/2021Nulink is still awful!!! There’s been daily outages, no one picks up the phone, and they don’t provide any form of compensation for their terrible services. They need to be bought out because this is unacceptable!
I loved nulink, but I HATE WOW!. They cut off my nulink service a few days before WOW finished setting up, leaving me high and dry when I work and do school from home and need a stable connection. I canceled my service before the billing cycle ended and they still sent me a bill for service for the next month after I canceled.have been with Nulink awhile and I am very pleased. I recently called them to downgrade as my promotional period with a discount had expired, and instead of downgrading me, they just gave me another full year at half off!! They are the only company I have dealt with that has ever done that, and it speaks volume that they value their current customers and offer deals instead of only offering discounts to new customers.
Absolute worst service ever experienced at any business. No cable for a week. On hold for 1.5 hours before the phone hung up. You cannot meet anyone in person at their offices per the sign on the door. Atrocious service to a community that has supported this company for a long time.
I like the actual service that NuLink provides. Internet, cable and wifi are beyond any level Ive ever had. Ive had zero failures in service within the first 4 months.Im not as pleased with the verbal, customer service product they provide. Thankfully the field product is excellent and requires little interaction with human resources.
My company has had NuLink internet at least the 3 years that I’ve been in the Coweta area, and through our collective experiences this has been hands down the worst internet provider several of us have ever encountered, including Charter Spectrum’s outages, and that’s saying a lot. Literally every day if not every other day we are experiencing gruesome connection speeds or outages for hours at a time several days a week. Also, when attempting to contact the company for solutions, it’s honestly a race between how long you’ll be on hold vs how long the connection outage will last. If it wasn’t for our cell phones, we wouldn’t even be able to operate our business. Do NOT attempt service with this company, or you WILL regret it!!!
I have try to call to no avail. I sit there for over 2 hours on hold and I just hang up. This is the worst company in America. and now they are doble dipping and charging me twice and even a late feed. I paid always on time but somehow they are charging twice. I wish I could give then a 0 start but this does not let me. And by the way the only office in here in Newnan close down.
Service has declined steadily for several weeks. Was told Nulink got sold. Whatever the reason the connections have been spotty frequently. Now on day 3 with no internet and Nink personnel staffing phones we incredibly rude to my mother in law and when she told them we would look for a different service because of their rudeness they told her “good!” and hung up on her when she asked his name. We will be changing services as soon as we can.
Nulink sent a new modem, which I didnt ask for. The email stated I would not see changes in my bill or service agreement as a result of the new modem upgrade. This was not true. I am being charged for the new modem $14 monthly. On 4/22/21I spoke with Don at Nulink and asked for a reduced monthly charge. He said my new bill would be $115.97. Today 5/5/21, I spoke with Donna at Nulink and she said my monthly bill is now $130.89. Sounds like bait and switch.
It took them six months to bury the cable after an initial faulty install slowed my speeds significantly. Had to file a BBB complaint just to get them out to resolve.A follow-up. Company refuses to refund an overpayment. Lied and said it was company policy to not refund a customer. Supervisor is a coward and wont answer questions. Saying phone number only outbound. Beware! Use anyone but them.
I just resumed working from home full time since our school system is now all virtual for the next couple of weeks. Ive lost sales as a result of the poor service. Also my daughter missed valued time with her teachers this morning. I have been on hold over 40 minutes or longer three times today. During this time waiting, I have decided to switch to Spectrum. Do not recommend NuLink for any service.
I wish there was a way to give a company negative stars. Our connection gets lost every 15 minutes. We have been calling, staying on hold for 18+ minutes and then leaving our info to receive a call back. After doing this half a dozen times we decided to switch to AT&T, who before Nulink, I would have said is the worst company in the USA. Now we can’t even get hold of Nulink to cancel. Save yourself the time and go with someone - anyone - else.
Nulink’s service has not been good, The reception is not very good, the underground cable has been laying on my lawn for 5 months and now they are giving me the same story they told me when I moved into the house. That the process will take 5 to 7 weeks to get it buried. These companies have basically a monopoly on some subdivision and don’t seem to care or understand what is true customers service!
I spoke with Pamela this morning in reference to my bill because I had turned in my Modem but I still was charged for it. She was very helpful and pleasant in adjusting my bill. Only thing is that it seems to take a long time to get to a representative! My wait time was over an hour!!!!
When the service goes out there’s no notification from the company with an estimate on when it will be working. No one answers the phone. The service goes out frequently, sometimes even on days when there’s no storms. I need reliable internet service while working from home, and I can’t depend on NuLink to be reliable.
Horrible customer service!!! They will have you on hold for a customer advocate for over an hour to even speak with someone. I would NEVER recommend calling Nulink or getting them to service your internet or tv for the main reason they WILL never answer when you call! I have literal phone log of being on hold for over an hour. They never respond to email or phone. DO NOT GET NULINK! I have never given a poor review for a service but after only calling nulink a couple of times and never getting an issue resolved I have had enough. If they had another provider for my area I would leave nulink immediately.
The fact that you can’t you get a dang person on the phone or by leaving a message. My bill for Robert Royal is messed up and need to speak to someone about this. I have been trying for 3 whole days and staying on hold forever even at 8:14 in the morning. So when this matter gets solved when are finding another cable company. My husband has been with NuLink for over 29 years with no problems. Ridiculous customer service
I cancelled my service two months ago when we moved. We had cable and internet. The cable was ok but the internet service was terrible. Nulink is not an option where we live now, and I cant say that I am upset about that. Two months later, I am still trying to settle my final bill. They said they would make adjustments due to prorating for the month I cancelled and that it would reflect on my next bill. Not only did my next bill not have the adjustment, but they charged me a late fee. It took several attempts and hrs. of sitting on hold to finally be able to talk to someone. She said she would take the late charge off and make the adjustments. She told me the estimated new amount and said to just pay that and the adjustments would be on the next bill. Next bill comes and still no adjustment and yet another late fee. I have currently been on hold for 1 hour 20 minutes waiting for some customer service. All I want to do is close out my final bill and be done with this company.
I have called these people multiple times to tell them I was moving and needed to discontinue service on July 31, only to be put on hold and then disconnected over and over and over. I moved weeks ago and I returned my equipment to their dropbox last weekend and still nothing except another bill. They will not STOP billing me and I’ve not lived at the previous service address for 3 weeks now and I’ve returned the equipment. None of this shows on my account,, no one has responded to my many emails and they are sending me bills with INCREASED RATES. Stay far, far away from these thieves!
Contacted NuLink/WOW! for help and support following the self-install instructions for the newly-delivered Arris modem. Everyone was supremely helpful, courteous and respectful. I worked with Giordano (sp?) and Kevin to try and restore the phone service. Internet and TV work great. I still believe NuLink/WOW! is the best and will remain faithful during these hard times. Thank You !
Done!! As of today, our internet has been down for the third time this week!! We work from home as well as trying to utilize internet for VL. Not to mention ongoing issues with our cable service. I’ve made multiple calls, techs have been out, over it!!! Canceling our service today!! Oh....and hold times greater than 30 minutes!!
Tried calling twice to establish new service. Was on hold for over an hour each time and never spoke to a customer service representative before finally having to hang up. Why would anyone want to establish service with a company that cant answer the phone for their customers?
Not professional I guess is the right complaint? We were told our rate wasnt a promotional one, that it was THE rate (we had the issue before so we asked specifically) and anyway I guess it was a promotional rate because it doubled again. Our bill is autopaid but I open every bill anyway because this has happened a couple of times. We cancelled today lol. Bye forever
BEWARE! THE MOST UNRELIABLE, UNREALISTIC, UNPROFESSIONAL COMPANY ON PLANET EARTH. if there was a 0 star option that is what I would give them. My internet and cable been out five days and I still dont have an estimated time that my service will be restored. Do yourself a favor and invest in your own mobile Hotspot. I would rather pay $200 a month than deal with these CLOWNS!
I’m writing this review while on hold trying to get the new account set up after they switched. To say they have “customer service” would be a joke. Endless holds and when you get someone on the phone, they immediately transfer you to another department only to be placed on hold again. Terrible experience
Been trying for two weeks to reach someone over the phone, no luck. Went to the office, no one there and u sign on the door saying to call. Again, never answers. Ive left several emails, no reply. There is seemingly no way to cancel this service. Ive already switched to a dulifferent company and will just stop paying the bill.
Use NuLink where I work. Going on FOUR weeks of inconsistent phone service. We have lost revenue because our clients couldnt reach us. One of our staff members OWN FRIEND could not get through, so they went somewhere else. They are only compensating us for the time our service has been unreliable. This is not enough compensation for the business we have lost. We kept being told that the problem should be fixed until they could swap out equipment, but the phones kept going down. We were told the equipment would get swapped out on Monday and when it didnt happen, the client service representative kept talking over me. When I had enough of that and became frustrated, she told me I needed to calm down. Then when she quickly ended the conversation, she ended it with a VERY condescending Have a blessed day. When the technician FINALLY swapped over our equipment, we CONTINUED TO HAVE ISSUES. He didnt test the phone lines before he left, and he mixed them all up. This caused us yet another long, and frustrating day of our clients not being able to reach us. Another day of lost revenue. I cannot even convey how detrimental this has been to our business. The ONLY redeeming part in this was the supervisor that I was dealing with - Lindsey. During all of my frustrations, she showed empathy, understanding, and listened to my concerns. Every other part of this process has been an absolute nightmare, and thats putting it politely. Because of this, I would NEVER use NuLink for my home service.
If you receive a promo, don’t forget the exact date you need to renew it or you will have to pay extra. Maybe nulink needs to send reminders to renew the promo, since it’s only once a year it’s easy to forget. And if you forget to renew there’s nothing that can remove that extra charge. Customer service is 10/10 though.
I moved to a smaller house and do not have coverage with my Wi-Fi through a lot of the house. Techs have been out here many times and always blame the last person who came out. Im paying for extra gear thats supposed to help but doesnt. Unfortunately they are pretty much the only service that works this subdivision. Its sad that in this day and age to have to put up with service like this.
Major problems with unexplained slowdowns at off peak times. Unusable. Possible DNS issues on their end. POS equipment. Even worse customer service. They don’t return phone calls or offer bill credit when service doesn’t work at all for days on end, even when it’s their fault. Constantly tried to blame us for our problems with ridiculous excuses like “your security settings on the router were wrong”. This doesn’t cause the issues we were experiencing.They have insane 5 hour appointment windows and then do not show up on time. We requested to be called before they showed up, which they refused to do after promising to do so and taking our numbers. They sent the guy with no work order, he didn’t even know why he was there.According to employees and contractors, they do not maintain their equipment and network properly, causing major issues constantly. Do yourself a favor and go to AT&T or, quite frankly, anyone else.
The worst experience ever custom service keep us on hold for hours what a way to run a business and service the public. Technician showed up work on some type of cable telephone equipment on the road and left us without phone and cable service 5 minutes later. Everything appeared to be working before he arrived. Very disappointed....
Internet service is terrible. I am paying for 250MB service, and am actually getting less than 100MB service. Also, service cuts in and out. Also, dont try to contact either customer service or tech support. I have been on hold over 40 minutes, before I just hung up.Stay away from these folks.
I had Nulink for a few years and had a very frustrating situation during the cancellation process. I needed to cancel service and asked them to cancel it the day I needed it done. I called again the next month and asked them to route the previous numbers to a new company who was picking up my service at a better price with no contract. Then I received a bill for another month of service which I called about and advised them that I had not been at that location or used that service since the previous month. They said it was due to not returning equipment which I knew I had to do but didnt relies it held up a cancellation process. I am not sure this is the case but it is not how I recall it happening and while this may have been a mistake on my part, the account shows that my desire was to request service be cancelled a month prior. I asked a supervisor (Victoria) to review the account and never received anything back from them about the account. A few months later I had my credit karma flag that I was sent to collections on this matter. I reached out to Nulink and spoke to Victoria this time who told me that due to the fact that it had gone to collections and that the reps had advised me to turn in the equipment many times (Per a recording) there was nothing she could do. I asked to listen to the recording of my conversation or what was said and she told me that she could not do that. I am not saying that I did not make a mistake here and it may be true that they do have me saying these things which they wont allow me to hear or confirm but I do know that the account does reflect a desire to cancel and a obvious misunderstanding of the cancellation process that resulted in an extra bill being due and then being sent to collections on the matter. I hardly ever write reviews on companies but I do want to ensure people understand this situation so that they will be prepared for it in the future. I have cancelled with other companies and always had to return equipment but it has never been something that would not allow the account to be cancelled. It usually involves being charged for the equipment if not received. The equipment was returned 26 days after the request and misunderstanding so it is hard for me to understand why this date of cancellation could not be achieved.
Best customer service in town! We have been using Nulink since 2009 for our home services and our office also switched over to them back in 2012. No internet provider can be perfect, downtime can always happen. It is however how the staff takes care of calls and requests. The team at Nulink has always been friendly, courteous and followed through with everything promised. They might not have the answer immediately but weve always received a call back with an explanation and estimated time services will be back up. Always a pleasure dealing with them. Weve never had any issues with equipment or service. Speeds are always as advertised. Thanks for the great service and services.
One of those situations when one star is way too much, absolutely no response from the company about outage they have, no Internet service since October 1, no one answers the phone or gets back to you after you submit the web request, why can’t you just send a technician on side when you have the address
I cannot stand this company and if their was any other provider for my area I would switch in a heartbeat. But I have to say that I spoke to someone today that brought in some rays of sunshine to Nulink. Her name is Dominique!!! SHE IS AMAZING!!! After 7 years she is the ONLY PERSON that was truly on top of her job. She provided excellent customer service and even had me laughing at the end of our conversation. Thank you Dominique for bringing joy to my day and for being helpful despite my crying babies and stress from a long day. You deserve a raise!!!
Internet service drops out about 6 times a day at my home and business. Cable signal is also spotty on most HD channels. I have changed my home to spectrum (a world of difference), but they have me locked into contract at business. Worst service and customer support of all times! Techs came to home and business with no improvement! Don’t waist your time or money with nulink (now owned by wow with the same level of service).
The 3 reviews negative reviews I read must have come from AT&T employees. I have just returned to Nulink from AT&T. They have the most unresponsive customer service I have ever tried to deal with. I am extremely happy with NuLink and was somewhat satisfied with Charter when we lived out in the county.
NuLink Fiber 100mb Internet has been a dream here in Peachtree City. We had AT&T 14mb dsl which dropped weekly and had up and down bandwidth. NuLink brought in fiber to our neighborhood and we got signed up as soon as our contract ended. Have had it for the last two months and the service has been spot on with no drops at 100mb. The technician that installed are service was stellar and knew his stuff. I see a lot of bad reviews on here and maybe their situation is different but absolutely no complaints here.
This is the cable/ internet company to get...upon moving to our apartment here in Newnan, I called spectrum and they went through getting my order and payment details then set the connection date guess what day came and went so I called back the. Found out they dont service our apartment complex but yet they send sales flyers. So then I checked with at&t an getorder for their apparently fiber optic internet yeah no! Our phones were quicker loading internet pages I then called nulink! Very pleasant CR. AND ORDERIN SERVICE WAS PAINLESS AND FAST INSTALL EXCEPT FOR THE LANDLINE HAD A PROBLEM WITH THAT BUT CALLED AND THEY HAD SOMEONE OUT ASAP AND GOT IT WORKING CORRECTLY AND EVEN CREDITED MY ACCOUNT FOR THE PROBLEM AND HSSEL! GO WITH THIS COMPANY YOU WILL BE GLAD YOU DIDfor the person who said they cancelled ser ice with them wonder why they never stated I have not been paid by nulink or given anything for this review Im one who will leave a re new whether good or bad to help others decide based on my experience.....hope this helps you
The service is really bad. He doesnt even answer the phone. I cant make a call even if I turn on the phone for more than an hour waiting to talk to the service center. Its my first time receiving such customer service. I am seriously thinking about changing the company.
If you dont rely on a reliable internet connection, they may be a good fit for you! I work from home and need reliable service and they are anything but reliable. I have experienced intermittent issues almost the entire time we have had their service, multiple visits to the house and we still have issues. I will have to leave the house to work (and likely pay) somewhere with internet access while they say they cant get out and will only entertain a one day credit and a technician may be out today.If you have options, NuLink should be your last choice for a provider.
New installation technician was absolutely awesome!! Thank you, Stewart Carey for your professionalism. For a visit that should have taken 1 hour, you stayed 4 hours and finally got word that the hub information had been entered incorrectly, not due to your fault. Stewart should be commended for his good work and a grand rep for Nulink!!
We had Nulink when we first moved to Newnan. The equipment looked as if it was from the 1980s and the service was not much better. I was told by the tech that my equipment was used and not everyone receives new equipment. The same tech also informed me that he had comcast and wouldnt recommend Nulink. Huh? If your own employees do not stand behind your company, well, then how do you expect new customers to feel confident?Needless to say, we left Nulink after a month of failed service, slow internet, and continued interuption of service! It took months to get our account closed, for about 4 months after cancelling we were still receiving a bill for monthly service and the equipment was returned the next day after cancellation in person! Very disappointed because I had to return to AT&T, but so far AT&T has been awesome!
Ive been a customer since Dec 2014. Nulink was one of the only carriers I can get in my area, besides AT&T, which Ive had numerous customer service issues with in the past. I work from home, so I use my laptop constantly and lose connectivity DAILY (multiple times). Ive had a tech come to my home twice, always giving me the Latest and Greatest modem. I typically just shut down my computer and restart it.. Yesterday, I called again and was promised another visit to my home with the BEST new equipment (which I thought I recd last month when they came). Finally, I asked for a $$ CREDIT for my trouble and was told I need to wait until the problem was fixed so they could have a start and ending date of the problem. The START was December 2014.. Guess who broke down and called AT&T.. New service starts tomorrow.. GOOD RIDDENS.. At least I know AT&T WORKS!!!!!!
I have been having issues with my Internet service with another company. They had come out several times to troubleshoot the problem but could not fix it. I have been with them for about 5 years.So I called NuLink and I am so impressed. I called Monday, placed my order and a technician was at my Newnan home Tuesday at AM as promised. He tested my line and replaced the drop from the road to my house that was bad. Then he installed NuLink 100mbps internet and wow, it is awesome.I have been with them a couple of days and so far, I am VERY PLEASED.
Worst experience I have ever had. Customer service reps are rude, the only reason this place is in business is because they monopolize the surrounding neighborhoods and force you to choose their service. Luckily ATT just came to my neighborhood and I have made the switch, faster service for less money. Definitely an upgrade. DO NOT go with Nulink, if you move into a neighborhood that offers Nulink and another provider, go with the other provider trust me you will save yourself money and have a piece of mind. They are not willing to work with you on anything. They disconnect your service and then charge you for coming to retrieve their equipment even if there is a technician next door doing an install. They charge for walking it over to the technician. I dont understand how they are still in business. If you ever have to speak to their manager (Heather) which I have had to do on several occasions good luck getting anything resolved she constantly cuts you off, doesnt let you speak, and she acts like she created the law, whatever she says goes she acts like shes a god up on a pedestal.
The only service I have with this company is internet. They says its 100mb down, yeah maybe for 0.3 seconds a month. The rest of the time its like having dialup from 1997. They also conveniently reset my router at randoms times but always RIGHT when I get home and just want to stream some music. The second a competitor comes to the area I will be switching. God help us all if its Comcast
We have had Internet and cable with NuLink for almost a year now and they have been wonderful. We used to have Charter and we were constantly having to call them because of Internet issues or programs freezing or depixelizing on cable. Since weve had NuLink, we have only had to call them once for a problem that they fixed immediately. We now have DVR and more digital stations and are paying less a month than with Charter. The offices and support are local, friendly people. Love them!!
Nulink is an overall disappointment. Customer service started out great for me in the beginning (probably because I was new money to them) and over time has become one rude conversation after another. They dont want to help you or credit you for mishaps (like days without cable or internet). I had customer service tell me on one occasion that the cable wasnt working on my flat screen because it was old...it was a brand new gift and they just couldnt come up with a solution. They will blame your devices before admitting to using old and cheap equipment.If you are considering using Nulink/WOW, please also know that THIS COMPANY IS GOING UNDER FAST. Loyal customers are leaving daily and I personally know plenty of them. Im switching to a different company. Its just too expensive for loyal customers to be treated so poorly.
I just got a 58% increase in my Direct tv which caused it to go from 58 to 100 per month w/dvr and 300 channels With a promotion it is back down to 70. I go on line to check out your prices and I have to call to get a price and I waited forever to find out the same package would cost me 149. Why did you make me call you to get a monthly quote? Please put it on your web page. For your sake I hope people continue to value cable over satellite and fiber. You do offer superior service.
Other than the things here people have already said, the fact that they provide no way to turn in equipment other than going to their little hole in the wall store is horrible. All major cable companies allow; and most provide packaging and pick up, for you to mail back equipment. Ours was packed and loaded on the truck by movers, and now that weve located and need to send it back - they say oh, well mail it to our store, but if something happens to it were not liable. Just more proof this company isnt ready for the big leagues when it comes to customer service and satisfaction.
My internet got knocked out at about 2:00 today. When my boyfriend called to ask what was going on, the customer service rep very rudely said “you’re not the only one who’s going through it” and hung up. We saw someone working on it at our apartment complex at 3:30, so we figured it would be back up and running shortly. WRONG. It is currently 7:18, we have no internet, the worker is gone, and their office is closed until Monday morning. This is RIDICULOUS...I’m paying them for something and it’s not even working! I can tell you that I will not be paying for it until it is fixed, and that I am calling first thing Monday morning to cancel my service.
The customer care is great, kind people and always willing to help. I have been at the office 3 times and always outstanding service. Last time I was attended even after 5 pm.Im user of high speed internet and it works really good. They have been improving with every year. Now I moved to the 100 Mbps and it is working amazing, the key for me was get my own cable modem. ( called to new link to set it up and it was up and running in 5 mins, just provided Mac Address )I work from home and I use Vonage phone lines and reliable internet is critical for me.
Horrible customer service. Have been Nulink customer for 3 years. This month my bill was increased by $84 for no reason other than there so called promotion ended. Nulink agreed to go back to my old rate, but would not removed the extra $84 increase from my current statement. Nothing changed about my service, yet they demand I pay that extra $84 or my service will be terminated. Goodbye Nulink.
I never had experienced this type of local phone company before. They are just awful. Inconsistency of connectivity and ongoing repairing issue that there is no end. Same problem keep continuing. I am not a big fan of AT&T, but I wish at&t were the providing service in my area.
I had problems all of a sudden with online gaming through my PS4. Chat type issues. Called PS4 numerous times, checked forums for the issue, and never could get any resolution. Finally was able to speak with Troy (level 2 tech) who took the time to work with others at Nulink to get the issue resolved! Troy deserves all of the praise in the world over his great customer service! Outstanding job Troy!
Imagine waiting and looking forward for quite some time to watching a live spots event on live TV?Well, then then imagine how a loyal nulink customer for a decade and a half would feel when their cable tv service is unavailable for the duration of the said sporting event live tv transmission.No signal no, thanks nulink. And its been happening quite often. Definitely not a one time case.So glad Im in the process of moving and about to forget about cable companies.Cant wait till everyone completely drops them all in favor of internet streaming services.
Tech that did install had to use my tools because he did not have what he needed and he left them out in my yard. Cable in the basement was left hanging all the way to the floor. First router failed after 6 mo and tech that came out to replace it took my expensive flashlight with him. After one year my internet rate increased from $40 to $80 without informing me. Switched to a different provider today and will never consider nulink again.
Horrible, they have billed me 5 consecutive months for a router lease that I turned in back in September 2020.i have called every month since when i get my bill and they keep saying they will update my bill and issue a refund. Still no refund and they keep charging me
The service is acceptable. The problems arise when there is any problem. My internet started having issues on a Friday. An appointment was scheduled for Saturday. On Saturday Nulink cancelled the appointment. Another 2 calls and the best they could do was Wednesday. No phone or internet for 5 days. I was left feeling like Customer service really did not care. I have new service coming and will be stopping service next week. I cannot recommend Nulink.
We all fall onto hard times, my WiFi was disconnect after a month and some change of no payment. I called to see how much it would be to have my service reinstated and originally they said $97.00. A week later I call to actually pay, and it is $223.00. I do not understand the logic behind charging more when you disconnect a service for non payment. Clearly there were already financial strains on the household, and instead of allowing the $97 to be paid, they add $100+. Rip off.
We have had Nulink for many years, because there is not much to choice from in my neighborhood.The only good thing I will say about them is when you call numerous times to let them know the service is down AGAIN, they are really nice.I do not watch a lot of television, BUT I am a huge fan of Game of Thrones!!and it will freeze and skip.The prices are ridiculous and you would think a good company would credit you for all the times the internet goes down or a show freezes, but no, they just keep raising the prices.
I have been paying over $50 for NuLinks supposedly fastest express Internet service, yet it has always been very slow, sometimes as slow as dial up. Almost every time they send a contractor to fix one of my neighbors problems with their NuLink Internet or Cable TV, I end up having problems with my Internet service and vice versa. Just recently, they were digging the cable for a neighbors Cable TV (which they had problems with) and the contractor ended up cutting my Internet cable! I immediately called and they did send someone the following day; he had to put a new cable since the other one had been cut (which wasnt really working properly - it was very slow, as I found out when they installed the new cable that now actually gives me the fast express Internet service - blessing in disguise)! I have been calling them since day one for problems, but they never gave me a credit, until now, but was only a $5.00 to $7.00 credit! This is highway robbery and I will report them to the Federal Trade Commission. NuLink also has a monopoly where I live, so for now I am sort of stuck with them. I may have to move to another area where AT&T is available just to get rid of NuLink.
DONT USE NULINK! We have been customers for many years. But the last few months have been a nightmare! We havent had one day of full service! Last week I called and asked for a supervisor to contact me. Today Lindsay did. I told her we were probably going to leave - she didnt care. She told me she couldnt tell me when the service would improve and then told me Nulink was close to resolving the issue. I asked her which one was it? Her skills were NOT friendly.
Two technicians have come to my residence to fix my broken internet connection and I still cant connect to the internet over the course of a month and a half. Awful excuse for an internet company, you get what you pay for. Spend a little extra and go with someone reliable. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY WITH THIS COMPANY.
Just started service after all was said and done, paid prorated amount, a few days later I get a call where my bill is already increasing $10 because the service rep did not know that my area is fiber optic and I am unable to use my own modem so I have to pay rental charges.
Just wanted to write a quick thank you to Evans in customer support. I was having slow internet speed issues, and he spent a great deal of time patiently troubleshooting from different possible angles. The issue turned out to be with my wireless router, but I would not have figured that out on my own without his help. In past dealing with other providers, I have had support staff brush me off with hmm, my system shows were sending full signal, must be your equipment, *click*. Even after we knew the problem was with equipment not from NuLink, Evans was friendly and helpful and gave me a few recommendations for how to resolve it. FYI I was able to do a firmware update and we are back to normal.Thanks again!
We had Nulink internet at our previous home in Newnan for 5 years and had no problems. We recently moved to another home in Newnan and combined the Nulink internet with Nulink cable. Weve been in the house 5 weeks and have had a technician come to the house 4 times. Internet and cable constantly go out. Weve been informed that theres a problem with the Gateway box and Gateway is working to correct the problem. The technician was at the house yesterday and our internet and some TVs were out again last night. This is unacceptable! Although customer service has been very nice when we call, I would not recommend Nulink as we are very disappointed with the service.
I have internet with Nulink because it is the only option I have in the subdivision where I live. I cannot even tell you how bad the service and product have been. The internet is slow and goes out often. Resetting the modem is almost a daily routine. I called to set an appointment up when my internet went down completely, and set up a date and time. No one showed up so I called the office. They told me sorry but his car kinda went out this morning. No one called to tell me. Please do yourself a favor and avoid this company at all costs. It is a VERY poorly run.
Not pleased with amount of times that I need to reset the modem due to dropped signals or interruptions. Service is consistently slower than other companies I have used in the past. Im also not pleased with the fact that I have no choice but to use them and their expensive internet rates because they have a monopoly in Newnan, GA. If I could go with any other company, I would leave in a heartbeat.
I have been a customer since March 2017. I have attempted to setup an online account several time but can never get the system to send an email to my gmail. Dont call web support they havent a clue. I have now been on hold for over 30 minutes. They only have one line for contact an I swear I think they leave you on hold in hopes that you will hang up. As soon as a different comparable service is available I will switch. Cannot even reach customer service. Unsatisfactory!
Dont even want to give them one star at this point! Our dog ate our remote and we had to pick up a new one from the office. We were unable to get the new remote working on our tv. Called tech support. Completely NOT helpful. Had to schedule a technician to come. Purposely called to be sure they had my husbands cell number for the 5-8 timeframe. He was right across the street. He called at 7:30 to ask when the technician would be arriving. They told him it was still within the window of time. Called AFTER 8:00 only to be told that the technician came at 5:30 and no one was home! YES! IF YOU HAD CALLED HE WOULD HAVE BEEN THERE IN 2 MINUTES! So a special arrangement to be here from work WASTED! Couldnt schedule again until Saturday. SERVICE IS TERRIBLE. Inexcusable!
Worst company ever, I wouldn’t even give them a 1 if there was anything lower , we have been without internet for over a week, 2 men came out Saturday and it still doesn’t work, I have been on hold for over 2 hours nobody ever answers. I don’t know what to do at this point.
Stay far, far away from this company. Spent months providing logs showing nightly drops in speed for my 30 mbps premium service (which I paid extra for) and they never even attempted to fix. Every night during heavy usage hours speed dropped below 3 mbps. Couldnt stream anything and Nulink could care less. Theyre a monopoly in certain areas of Newnan and they are the worst business I have ever dealt with. I am happily using Comcast again...never thought I would say that. Have not had one interruption or degradation of speed since leaving Nulink.
I despise this company. Their prices are too high, the quality of service is terrible, they are unhelpful on the phone if there is a problem. I had a service representative that was to come to home, they never showed and left a note in my account that I never answered the phone - I spoke to him on the phone and he told me he would be there 3 hours after my service time. If you dont have to use them dont. Save yourself $50 a month and use another company (AT&T, Comcast, etc.) and save yourself the hassle.
I have been trying to speak with a Nulink representative for five days. Each time I call, I am on hold from between16 to 45 minutes, at which time the system hangs up on me. In these five days, I have called seven times. I have tried different options without any luck.
Excellent product, I couldnt be happier. I was with NuLink many years ago and had internet service interruptions daily. I went to another ISP and had no problems but I had no options to increase my bandwidth so I went back to NuLink hesitantly but now I am very glad I did. My service is rock solid with great speeds at a reasonable price. I am a big fan.
Every night between 8:00pm and 10:30pm there is a horrible latency issue. After endless effort to help nulink resolve the issue which is effecting all of the customers, Im giving up. Ive been their customer since 1998 (before they were nulink). The answer I finally received was: this issue goes beyond our control. Where clearly they have admitted that they have made a change and added another server which is most likely the problem everyone is seeing. Im switching to Gigapower Internet from ATT and not looking back. Loyalty and integrity is non existent. Thanks for all the years of me paying you to have unstable Internet service for half of that time. If you are here looking to make a decision on signing up to get nulink then please get something else. There is ALWAYS a problem and when one thing is resolved another comes about.
Internet is always down and customer service is absolute garbage. Most people in Newnan have NuLink because its the only option, but if you have other options take them. Id rather give my money to Comcast and they are absolute money grabbers who will bill you more than you signed up for randomly but their customer service will fix problems and reimburse you and at least the internet works!
If you want unreliable internet then this is your company! I am currently on my third modem from them and they are sending a tech out to replace this one. REALLY?!? Lord forbid it goes out Friday night because then they cant fix it till Monday! I would rather drive WAYY out of my way to a library or Starbucks to use wifi then deal with these people again. To the people who are going to say I must work for AT&T I dont. They suck too! Not as bad as Nulink though. Learn to fix your crap people!
People are as nice as they can be but even that cant make up for the terrible service. I have what would be basic cable with most other providers (no premium channels or sports packages) with Internet and home phone and my monthly bill is over 200/month. With Uverse or Comcast I could have premium channels for that price and stable service.Its the only service available in my neighborhood unfortunately; come on Comcast, ATT, Charter anyone other thank NuLink !
I hate it here. I’ve been trying to get in contact with them for A MONTH! I’ve called at all different hours of the day to see if it would make a difference. Nope. I can’t log in online to access our service, I can’t get anyone on the phone & you can’t visit a office. Soooo how am I supposed to speak with someone? NOW OUR INTERNET IS OFF!? The audacity.
I visited NuLinks main office in downtown Newnan to return a modem. It was not an option to mail it to them. It was free parking but a slight walk. The two ladies behind the service desk were pleasant. I was given a hand written sales receipt as proof of return. Thats a bit archaic. Overall, a pleasant experience.
My internet suddenly went down on Tuesday, called NuLink, and on Wednesday its technician, Eric arrived. And a terrific technician he is!Not only did he diagnose and fix my problem, he replaced my outdatedmodem and then checked to be certain my TV and other devices were in sync with my router. He then explained the NuLink -provided TV remote which has caused me much frustration in the last few years. My 5 stars are for Eric. NuLink needs to provide instruction for that remote before Ill give it 5 stars! (It only gets 4, and thats because of Eric!)
Been having problems with my service lately. Technician has come in 5 times in the past month. Just recently this dude showed up to fix our Internet and figured out that he couldnt figure out the problem so he decided to just leave instead of giving us any sort of financial compensation for the problems weve been having
This is one of the worst ISps I have ever dealt with. From their service techs to their customer service and even their hours of operation. The service technician never showed up on his scheduled date and time , He then turned around and told his company he knocked and no one answered(which was a lie). Once in touch with customer service They basically told me I lied and then tried to reschedule for 10 days later . And now conveniently theres no one to help because its the weekend, amd they are closed...
Since I signed up for NuLink, ihave had them come out twice. I wasnt told of the specials when signing up either. U have the basic package now which is fine, but I do not get the best channels for the money I thought I was saving. I was with another cable company and all the channels were cyrtal clear! I do not have a box, because I wasnt told that I needed a box, therefore I dont have a guide! I dont know what I am watching! so frustrating!
Horrible internet speeds had over 8 visits in a year Ive heard every excuse in the book. They even blamed it on our baby monitor once. Then said my line had to be replaced so they dug up our entire lawn ruining it then, still no change. Customer service is horrific Im amazed a small neighborhood company would conduct themselves in the manner they do. Theres no professionalism , employees are always young I do not think an adult exists in any position from techs to supervisors. Theres a reason why in decades this business cant even expand out of Newnan. Why else is their review only 2 stars by over 38 people . Stay away and go with the pros!
I have been out of internet for over three weeks and everyone else has had their internet services restored. I have tried calling I was on hold I kid you not 2 hours before I finally hung up these people are impossible to get in touch with. Do you guys even have customer service reps ?? This pisses me off !!! 🤬🤬🤬
Horrible service and even worse installation. We waited over two weeks for them to install our new internet service, and they were charging us for internet during that period even though we didnt have any. They also told us a 3 hour time frame to be ready for their service, and they showed up about 3 hours late. Interruptions are constant and price is outrageous.I WOULD RATE IT 0 STARS IF I COULD.
Pray that you never have a serious technical Internet issue. If you are having DNS problems, NuLink will not help. I tried my best to explain my problem but they did not want to listen plus they screwed up my Google account. NuLink went to a new DHCP system last week around 3/1/18 and I have had problems ever sense. If you have a router behind a router, I hope you have better luck than I had. I got around the problem without the help of NuLink..
I am an internet only customer and have found the service to be reliable. The customer support is also helpful though it may take a little bit of time to wait for the next available agent. Overall Im very satisfied with my experience. One note to those who may have issues with wifi, most internet modem/wifi in-one type devices provided by service companies can be flaky. I personally bought my own equipment (separate internet modem and wifi router) and recommend others to give this a try. The internet speed you consume on your devices is only as good as the equipment in your home to process the internet connection. Do a speed test on your current equipment to see if its actually pushing out the speed your paying for. If not, go out and buy your own equipment, its well worth it.
Pretty much what everyone else is saying. To save a buck is creating a lot of issues!!! Insulation was horrible ! They hung wires outside around my siding!!!! Tore up my grass to install their internet lines and my grass is bald so I will be making a call.....the list goes on!! Slow internet and now the service is out!!!!! Office closed over the weekend.....I’m probably going back to AT&T!
Its terrible... the wifi will constantly turn on and off for who knows how long? Sometimes we cal the company and all we get is on hold .. the customer service is rude and will tell us the same thing over and over. All they will tell us to do is restart the router and it doesnt work. I would not recommend NuLink wifi .. the cable may work fine but the wifi is the worst weve ever had in our household.
Worst internet/cable company! I have lived in 4 different citys and this place is awful!!!! A four year old knows more than the stupid techs they have at Nulink! I have had to buy a new tv to pick up all the channels I was paying for. The Internet is like having dail up. If I didnt have to go with them I wouldnt. Thankful a new internet is coming to my area 2/2016! Already dropped they cable!
After being disappointed by Comcast, I decided to do business locally, but.... good god. I told the sales rep on the phone to make sure the tech brought the newest, most up-to-date cable boxes, but they brought some 1980s crap. However, according to the tech, thats the newest they have. If you have a nice TV and equipment, this is a major eyesore. So after an hour, he finally gets it up and running, and I was truly shocked at how ancient it was. It makes the (pre-Xfinity) Comcast menu interface look the future. It was like Atari on my nice new 65. Garbage. The internet speeds were only about half of what my plan called for as well. After cringing for a few days, I decided to cancel all this. So I called for that, and was told I would have to pay $50 for the tech to come get the equipment. After a bunch of haggling, I got that waived. The tech took over a month to come get the boxes.I shouldve known when I had to pre-pay the sales rep when I got the service that it was fishy, and here we are 2 months later with no refund, and after 3 phone calls with inconclusive endings, I was finally told the refund was processed a month ago and could still take another month to get it.So, if youre cool with ancient equipment, 1980s menus, inept customer service reps, and just a horrible quality cable experience, then Nu-Link is perfect for you. If not, Comcast is where its at.
Possibly the worst internet and cable provider on the planet... 25 up and down??? You cant even get that in a retirement trailer park in Florida. The bill was nearly $90!! I went to AT&T and got DirecTV with 300 up and down for $20 more!! I cant begin to tell you how disappointed I am with nulink. Just make sure you exercise your options before you make a mistake like I did.
My experience with nulink was exceptional. Justin Holloway did the install. He couldn’t have been more polite! I was impressed with how well he managed to do the install despite several obstacles he had to overcome due to it being an extremely old house. Thank you so much!
I called to get pricing for internet and cable tv together and the girl was all over the place...nothing coherent...it sounded like something outrageously expensive that was over several hundred dollars to get in, but then she said they will give you a discount once you PAY to install and are established as a customer, but she couldnt tell me how much?!?!! It was the craziest worse sales pitch Ive ever heard!
Internet is always going out. Constant interruptions in the line. Will be doing work online and then no connection. Happens a lot after midnight especially. Only other option is AT&T and their internet service is still in the Stone Age. Why cant Charter or Comcast provide service for such a large subdivision???
NuLink needs to pick up and offer its customers the new Atlantic Coast Conference Network college football games effective 31 August 2019. Many NuLink customers support their favorite college football teams in the ACCN. NuLink should also offer the two Atlanta area Korean channels. My wife is Korean and use to watch her Korean channels on COMCAST, our previous provider. This is a game changer for us to continue NuLink service.
Up and down svs. ... not at all consistent. Save yourself the hassle. .. just dont do it. Edit: Since my original review, they have been bought out by Wide Open West going by the name WOW! That is fitting because WOW they are awful. Nothing is local, everything is out of state and you cannot get ANYTHING done in a timely manner. Just dont waste your time with this company unless you enjoy bad service, useless customer service and just generally like wasting your time.
Called for bandwidth issue one night at 1am and got great service and corrected the problem. Two days later had same problem and agent had no ideas how the first person was able to correct problem and told me contact them during normal business hours, what a shame they can not train all their employees.
We have been a Nulink customer for a long time and had terrible dealings with customer service in the past but today I spoke to the nicest customer service representative who went out of her way to help us get a good deal for our internet and cable service. Thank you so much Michelle C.you made my day. You should get a Customer Service award. :)
I am trying to set up new service and I have currently been on hold for 20 minutes and counting.. You would think they would be eager to get a new customer; if this is the best customer service they can provide, then I shudder to think how bad it must be once you have actually established service with them..
Terrible internet connectivity. Always seems to have problems when you need it most. With how fast Newnan is growing youd think Nulink would be more consistent but the way things are going Ill be changing providers as soon as someone is more established down here. Seems like Nulink is a local monopoly that has grown lazy and complacent over the years without much competition. Thats going to need to change as Newnan gets bigger and more service providers enter the market.
I wish I could rate lower than one star. NuLink? More like NuStink. The internet is great when it works... which is infrequently. We get about 90 up and 6 down in 2 minute intervals. But thats fine because I only use the internet in 2 minute intervals anyways. hmm...Ever wanted to play a game online? Well is NuStink the ISP for you! If youre lucky enough to get into an online game, this is where your fun will really begin. If youve wanted to feel just like a rubber band, NuStink will be your wet dream. Or if you dont want to play an online game, NuStink can take care of that too! Theyre great at making you lag out of every single game or chat!Oooh, and the video streaming! When Im home alone, I like to play a game to see how many youtube videos I can watch before the buffering grabs me by my ankles and drags me straight into the gates of hell. If anyone else is home, its not even a competition! If someone else is even thinking about using the internet, you could bet your life that youre not going to be able to do anything. Not very good. My cable, internet and phones have been down since Saturday morning 01/21. Customer no service will attempt to have it up by tonight between 5 and 8!!!!! I think I will be looking around for different services and not put all my eggs in the same basket. Wow is not putting much Wow in their customer service!!
Having this cable and internet service is like paying for a first class flight and getting stuck in the overhead baggage compartment on a flight to Japan. Then they lose all of your luggage when you get there. The cable and internet cuts out on you constantly. The Internet speeds your paying high dollar for arent achieving the speeds that are advertised. Do yourself a favor and avoid the headaches and get internet TV instead.

We had a problem with our svce.. Dispatch, Ms Stacy , who was very, very nice in assisting and then setting up schedule svce call. Mr. Clint and Mr. Darryl called In A.M and on time resolved our svce problem in a very professional and timely manner. Very professional, knowledgeable and friendly. I spoke with Ms Tashia later on to get info and she also was very professional in answering my questions. Situations with quality service.
They don’t answer the phone . The wait times are long and you still end up not getting anyone on the phone . I got their service because through an apartment but this is ridiculous . You guys need to just close down and stop charging for services because I don’t get to use the services.
Terrible! Terrible! Terrible! The Internet has literally cut out 3 times while writing this review. It is a common theme for nulink to cut out on you for no reason, streaming movies or shows gets frustrating. Honestly the only reason I have them is because its the only service that comes to my area. If you can avoid them, do so!
My service has been out since the storm every time I call the feed me some line...someone will call...no call...we cant tell when you will get service technician come says you should be up tomorrow, tomorrow never comes this is the absolute worst customer service ever!!!!!

2022-03-07When I first moved here ~15 years ago they were the only ISP in town. My family would lose internet for an entire week every month. They would never return calls, emails, and even refused to talk to us if we walked into their place of business. Not a fan of AT&T, but NuLink deserves to be run out of business for the way they treated us all those years.Stay far, far away from these people!

2022-07-23It was unreasonably difficult to get our internet turned on but customer service is always helpful. Even after we got it turned on an I made a mistake, not realizing it was an error on my end and they still helped me through it. I give only 3 stars because the technicians were the reason we kept having issues getting service to begin with.

2022-04-08If I could give WOW less than 1 star, I would.I moved to Newnan 20 years ago. My internet services was with with Newnan Utilities, then Nu Link took over, and then WOW took over from Nu Link. In all those years I was mostly satisfied until WOW took over.I was always able to talk with a person in America with a problem and if need be, I could go to their office, but not with WOW. Now getting hold of a person is like pulling teeth.I finally got to talk with someone (from outside the USA) and he got frustrated with me and told me to go with ATT and hung up on me. So, yesterday ATT showed up and installed the Fiber Cable. 3 times the speed for the same price. WOW definitely earned their name but not in a positive way or meaning. If I need anything I can call ATT or go down to the ATT store.

2022-04-04Not a customer but one of your drivers pulled into my drive way. I guess when he realized he was in the wrong place he decided to back out and drive all over my grass. No idea why he/she couldnt back out straight like they pulled in. Its incredibly disrespectful. I would tell others not to use your service but all of the other reviews already convey that message.

2022-03-21If this is the only provider in your area you’re out of luck, better off with no internet. Atleast then you wouldn’t have to be so frustrated about it everyday ! I can actually play Xbox better on my mobile hotspot than I can connected to nulink 5g. And no this isn’t a outage or anything like that… just a everyday occurrence since we started with them

2022-05-02Nightly outages that start anywhere from about 5-10pm and they most of the time don’t come back up and running till the morning and even then there usually an outage between 10am-12pm. It’s a joke of an internet service.

2021-11-23They used to be great. Very Personable. You would call and get a person immediately. Now you have to go through 20 prompts and wait an hour. They wont work with you like they did before. This is what going WOW gets you huh? I have recently moved and I just need to cancel my service at my old address. I waited an hour on the phone before getting disconnected, TWICE. I miss simple Old NuLink and their small more intimate feel of doing business. And the Prices were very fair for what you got compared to the Big Boys. But... Now they have joined the fold it seems. And now they have CUSTOMER NO SERVICE installed as their mantra.

I have had nothing but terrible experiences with them and it costs me more money than it should have to finally leave them. I had to give one star to even post this review - their customer service is the worst I have ever had.

2021-10-28The absolute worst support I have ever tried to work with. I say tried because we have spent multiple hours over the last few days on hold and have not actually worked with anyone. Client has be without internet for days after a NuLink upgrade and they have done nothing to help fix the problem. Its completely understandable why they have so many one star reviews and the only reason they are getting one star is because you have to choose something to leave the review.

2021-12-16Its a WOW they are still in business. Was on auto pay for two years now cut off because no payment. Call customer no service on 13th and try to find out why getting billed and no pay letter. Thought had everything worked out but no cut off today same reason. This company is really BAD instead of WOW. Nulink was ok now that the board and owners sold it to make alot of money. Just shows nobody cares about the customer paying.
