Olive Garden Italian Restaurant in other cities:
Good Italian FoodI have been to this particular location several times and almost always walked away pleased. The food is good and the staff are nice and prompt.I almost always get the Chicken Parmesan but this time I decided to get the Stake Gorgonzola Alfredo (Pictured). It was a good decision. Not everything on their menu is to my liking but it is extensive which is a good thing. They have a full bar and good desserts to choose from.If you are looking for a good family outting, or even a good date night selection, this is a good place to go.
As a family of 6, when ordering to go. The goal is that everything is cooked, and in the bag. Last few times ordering curbside, my food is not correctly prepared, bagged. My daughter wanted her steak well done. Got home to find that it was only seared! It was bloody on opposite end! My order clearly said well done. My pasta was missing the alfredo sauce?! Not happy and will not be back anytime soon. A customer shouldnt go through this repeatedly at the same location. $87.00 spent on tonights supper and not happy....and for verification of todays fiasco my order #112895853611...
I love OG and visit often. When I go I usually get the same thing. So much so that I can tell when anything is off with my meal even the smallest detail. Anytime I order an appetizer from Olive Garden its one of two appetizers one of which is the Lasagna Fritta. In my experience with sampler platters anywhere the only difference is portion size. The samples are usually prepared the same way as the full-sized appetizers, just a smaller portion. Well from what I was told at this Olive Garden apparently for ONE of the samples (Lasagna Fritta) this is not the case. OG advertises a Lasagna Fritta as an option for the sampler and when you get it its not a lasagna fritta made as they sell it. When they brought my sampler out EVERY SAMPLE was prepared like the full sized counterpart except my fritta. When I got the sample I told my waitress that my fritta wasnt prepared right. I told him it was missing the marinara and alfredo sauce they offered to bring me some out I declined and said I would like it to be properly prepared like the fritta is supposed to be prepared. (I wasnt mean or rude just confused). I began to explain to them how it should be made and then they proceeded to tell me that I was thinking of a different dish and I said no, its the fritta. After going back and forth with me about whether I knew exactly what I was referring to, I pulled out the menu and pointed to the name of the sampler item. I also went to the actual appetizer to show them it was the same name and I showed them the picture of how it should have been prepared. At that time they both looked confused and went to get who I believe was the manager. In about 5 to 7 minutes the manager came back and she said when you get the sampler its not prepared the same. At that moment I was dumbfounded by 2 things. 1. The fact that OG would advertise that you can get the fritta as an option and then when you get it it is not actually the fritta it is something else and 2 The fact that the other 2 sample items were fixed IDENTICAL to their larger appetizers just a bit smaller but for some reason THIS ONE is advertised with the same name but fixed totally different prep.....mind blown. Olive Garden Im extremely disappointed and I need for you to do better. If youre going to offer a sampler and youre going to call it the same name as the original appetizer then FIX IT LIKE THE APPETIZER!!! I have included a picture of my sample and the actual appetizer so that you can see the difference same name different item. The only saving grace for this OG is that they did comp the entire appetizer and I only asked for the fritta to be removed. Im still hoping these ladies were just confused and that OG wouldnt do something so foolish.
Love Italian food and this is one of my favorite restaurants but today after I go to get my pick up order finishing up my dessert and I found a big hair in my dessert 🍮😞😢 Very disappointed/ 2nd review my son really wanted Olive Garden today Monday October 11 so I decided to get some thing to and I found a hair in my food 2nd picture check ur food please get them to wear Hairnets if they are preparing food
I sat at the bar and ordered. Food came out fast. Waited 10 min for utensils. Food was good. Barmaid was aweful. Watching her serve food and drinks over a messy bartop from other customers that left. People waiting for seats and nobody cleaning tables. Didnt even ask if I wanted anything so tabbed out without tip and left.I blame on management. Not COVID
Great service, wonderful atmosphere with easy listening music playing in the background like the man, the myth, the legend Frank Sinatra, the food was wonderful, I recommend the Pasta e Fagioli and the Tour of Italy (Chicken Parmigiana, Fettuccini Alfredo, and Lasagna Classico), the bread sticks as usual were good, and I apologise for everything in the photos already half eaten, I just couldnt wait to dig in! 😅😅😅😅😅
Dont waste your time! I refuse to eat Olive Garden anymore. The service last night was okay the problem was the food. I order pasta and it was over cooked and dried out. Also when did they start giving out little kid portions, I could see the bottom of the bowl and all the sides. I told the waitress and she got the manager but she wasnt any help. They served me another pasta but it seemed like the same pasta I had before with more sauce on it. After that I told them to take off my check. I felt we were looked over because we wasnt a big party. Just a Piss Poor Meal!
I will start off by saying the servers seem very friendly and prompt with drink refills and to check on how the customers experience is at this location or at least the waitress we had that day was the restaurant as a whole seem to be very clean. The food was typical of Olive Garden. The wait time on the food however was a little longer than expected. But I think Ill just chalk that up to covid-19 and being short-staffed. Overall, I would rate this location a four out of five stars for a Olive Garden.
Let me just start off by saying everybody here was nice but you dont go to food restaurants for niceness you go to food restaurants for food. Them breadsticks came out feeling like they were drumsticks. I could have honestly probably done a awesome drum solo with those things they were so crispy. And then my actual main course came out and the only thing I tasted was salt. Like I understand youre supposed to be Italian food and everything but for my understanding Italian food is supposed to be flavorful. I could only handle two bites because it seems like each bite I took someone open my mouth up and dumped half a salt shaker into it as I took the bite.
I hate to do this because the Togo server was super nice. But I went in and ordered food togo to take back to the hospital after my wife gave birth and wanted pasta. They specifically asked if I needed utensils and I said yes and explained why. I didnt get anything to eat the food with and the cheese on top of the Togo food was cold and not melted. I should have checked the food so its partially my fault but everything got thrown away due to not having a way to eat it and it being cold. Pretty disappointed in how the first meal turned out after my wife not eating in over 24 hours.
My family and I visit this location frequently. While the food is consistently awesome, their wait staff leaves a bit to be desired. Weve never had bad service, just not ideal attitudes. On the other hand, the staff has been consistently knowledgeable when it comes to wine reccomendations. The parking availability is usually decent and staff seems attentive to cleanliness. The bathrooms are also well kept. We will definitely be returning.
My husband and I were traveling on business. Stopped for the night in Carrollton Georgia. We saw the Olive Garden. This happens to be one of our favorite Restaurants. Saying that, with traveling the way we do, we have eaten in Olive Gardens all over the place. This place hands down puts the rest to shame. We had a wonderful experience with the staff. All were super polite. Our waitress APRIL, wow what a great personality and very efficient. The food was exceptional to the last bite.Thank y’all for you kindness and delicious food!!! See ya next time we come through.
I would actually give no stars if possible. We love Olive Garden and have gone to this one lots since it opened. Yesterday, my daughter and I had a date for a late lunch and she chose here. We were seated right away, it was 2:15 so not busy at all (maybe 5/6 tables total). I kept looking around for a server, even caught ones eye, but noone came to our table. After 10/15 minutes of no acknowledgement, we got up to leave. Stopped at the host stand and three young ladies are there, one hostess offered to get someone for us but I declined. I mean, really? I heard the server talking to tables behind me, and saw them in the kitchen, but noone could speak to us? Shameful. I tried to call the manager but he was busy so will try again today.
Our Server seemed too busy socializing with his coworkers to be to bothered with his customers. Had to ask us twice what we ordered for drinks (iced tea). Took our our lunch orders, brought back about a half bowl of salad...drinks came next (no straws) Then entrees, no salt or pepper on the table. Lunch mate had to go find some as he (the server) was chatting with the coworkers. Still no bread..when it was brought out he said he had to wait for it to be hot. Ok, thats fine it was hot. Finished up lunch and I asked for a container for the rest of mine. He began clearing the table and grabbed the remaining bread. I was going to take it with me. Not to worry, he said he would bring fresh out. My friend bought me lunch and paid at the table. A few minutes past and still no bread.... and I left without it.The food was hot and very tasty but his service was sub par. It wasnt crowded inside as it was late in the lunch time period. Not sure what his problem was other than chatting with other employees. I saw someone at another table having fresh parmesan grated for them..(a different server) and thought gee that would have been nice...Ive never been to this particular Olive Garden but I hope it isnt always like this.
The parking lot was half full I said good faster service but that was not the case couldn’t seem to get our bread sticks till we were about done eating Took forever to get our drinks I got one cold beer and two warm beers eventually The waitress blamed the kitchen with short help but who was to blame for the warm beer? The price I paid for that little piece of lasagna I could’ve bought two Stouffer’s for the same price. The waitress was nice she didn’t apologize but about 30 times. I have always loved Olivegarden service and foodBut the one in Carrollton Georgia I’ll never go back to
Great food. The service really worked hard to accommodate our large group to make sure we were safe while social distancing. They were able to bring all of our food out at the same time, which is usually something that is almost unheard of with large groups. Thanks for making our experience a great one!
Looked online at the dine-in wait time. The web page said no wait time. The online to-go order time was like 20 min. So I thought I’ll just pick it up. As soon as I picked my meal (shrimp pasta and salad) the wait time went up to 1 hour. I called the store and they put me on hold for a “to-go specialist” to make sure this was correct before submitting my order. After sitting on hold for almost 15 min I hung up and called Ruby Tuesday. I ordered the exact same thing, 20 min wait, and it’s cheaper.
There was no wait time. We were pleasantly greeted right away and seated at a booth. Our server Rachel was awesome! She was very patient with us, and was great with the kids. She was attentive. The food was great. Bread hot. We were served quite rapidly. The calamari was the only thing I had an issue with and it was removed from our check. It was the best experience I had at a chain restaurant.
Me and my sister waited over 20 minutes before we were greeted. We sat near the host stand and their were 3 employees standing there just talking. They were out of tuppa and offered me minestrone instead. I did not like the unprofessional experience and feel of this place. Not a recommended place to dine.
After a quick table seating, it was all downhill from there. Long wait for drink order. Longer wait for salad and soup. No drink refills, and one hour wait only to have our server tell us she forgot to put our order in. Never going to Olive Garden in Carrollton again. Manager was nice and server was very apologetic but it ruined my wifes birthday.
This visit:We had a large group, they were very accommodating and server was great. Food came out as ordered. Overall a very good night (only complaint was the loud music made it difficult to hear each other talk at the table).Previously:We have frequented this location a number of times, always with hit and miss results. The most recent visit was during the reopening amist the COVID19 restrictions. With all the concerns surrounding germs and such, I was surprised at all the trash that was under our table and the old food still caked on the silverware. The restroom was also in need of cleaning. The restaurant was not busy at all, so they should have taken more care with the cleanliness of their facility.
Im happy to say that this place has greatly improved over time. After our server took our drink order at least 3 other servers checked in on us to make sure we had been seen about. The food was great! Soups, salads, breadsticks, and pastas were all fresh! A few years ago the food was so low quality at one point that my shrimp alfredo had visible freezer burn. Im glad theyve gotten better, and I hope this restaurant continues to thrive!
This was our second visit in the last 6 months. Both times, our meals were delivered shortly after the salad arrived. We barely had time to enjoy it. Our appetizer hadnt even been brought out before our meals. For the price of dining, we shouldnt feel rushed out the door. Yet on both occasions, it was not an enjoyable dining experience. Food was great!
By far the most poorly managed restaurant I have ever been to. Completely empty with less than 5 customers and they cannot seat a family because they are not sure which table to use.Management is a joke when you cannot seat customers and the the restaurant is empty but 10 employees are standing around chatting.
Olive garden in carrollton is decent, but the service I got tonight from my server Alden was the best ive ever had there. He was extremely attentive and made sure my drinks and food were to my liking! Next time I go I will call in advance to ask to be seated in his section.
Placed my order on the app at 6:30pm, app told me my order would be ready at 7:10pm. Pulled up at 7:15 called to let them know I was there. Waited til 7:40 and nobody havent even been put to the car yet. So I go in, 5 people are just staying behind the counter talking with about 10 to go order stilling on the benches. I asked for my order and walked out the door. Got home and of course all my food was not in the bag. Poor service all around.
I ordered shrimp scampi and had 6 shrimp and 2 whole bell peppers. Half the sauce on my spaghetti was plain and the other half had seasoning. Olive garden is one of my favorite restaurants. I was shocked. In my salad it had the inside of the lettuce, the hard core part and that wasnt even cut up. So I cut that up. I will return and hope it will be better
The food took over 40 minutes to come to our table, and my Alfredo had hard noodles and the sauce looked burned. My little boys fries and chicken fingers were cold! I asked for a manager. The manager Devin apologized in a sassy tone, and did nothing to accommodate us or fix our ticket price.
The food was very good, we didnt have to wait for a table, we placed our order, got our Salad out to the table , but had to really go easy on the salad to keep from filling up on Salad & bread sticksbut it did take a good while to get our entrees out to the table. The food was delicious when we finally did get it!! My daughter didnt order a salad because we thought the salad was for the table. But when she ate some of the salad they charged her $5.00 extra. I thought that was in bad taste, being they took so long getting any food out!!
We usually have a very enjoyable time at every Olive garden. Tonight was the exception. We waited 15 minutes for a salad, and never saw our server again. He never brought bread or refilled drinks (that someone else brought) We spoke to the manager which brought us bread and then finally got our salad and soup. Mine had a hair in it. The manager said they were not busy and shouldnt have happened. Will not be returning.
We came in as a party of eight including a 13 year old, a 5 year old and a one year old who was celebrating her first birthday. As we were being seated, the staff person asked if anyone was a Veteran. I was a Veteran as well as my daughter, the grandmother of the two youngest children who are being cared for by her and her husband. The staff promptly handed us a special Veterans menu and, much to our surprise, we had a free meal. All during the meal we were carefully attended to and the food was great!
The service was fine. She was quite friendly. However, my “go to” favorite on the menu has gone down in quality the past 3 times I ordered it. The Chicken & Gnocchi soup had 2 thumbnail-size pieces of chicken and 1 gnocchi. It was not as creamy as usual. My husband ordered the trio appetizer. The calamari was pale and soggy and the stuffed mushrooms were greasy. I rarely eat pasta but would meet friends at Olive Garden because of the soup and salad. Now, I can’t depend on that. Very disappointed.
At Olive garden Italian restaurant the food was awesome great service and drinks was delicious. I would recommend anyone to try it if they havent tried it as yet. Their was a particular waiter at that restaurant name Jeremy he was great to me and my family service was on point . He greet us and made us felt welcomed and i appreciated that a whole lot. Keep up the great work Jeremy more restaurants needs servers like you.
Normally a great dining experience. Tonight we were at our table for 20 minutes and not one server acknowledged us or took our drink order. The table across from us received their food. We thought that server would at least take our drink order. Nope! We left and went somewhere else.
Its ok but not what I would expect Ive are there maybe 5 times and the last three times the food wasnt as good as I would like it to be I always get chicken Alfredo and my children has been over cooked and dry and not enough sauce and noodles was hard and dry one time . It being a restaurant of mostly pasta meals you would think it would be fresh. But love the soup and salad and bread.
The food was okay but the service was terrible. Waitress forget almost everything we asked for. Two people Asked for extra dressing and she came back with one after being asked twice and the salad was completely dry expect for the top. Not tossed well at all. Skip the cheese balls theres a reason theyre cheap. The entrees were good enough but you could get much better at a local Italian place.
We had eight adults and two four year olds in our party. We had two servers and we were in no hurry to leave. This to tell you that the servers seemed discombobulated, not knowing who was doing what. Our bread, salads and soups came together for five of the adults. It was probably eight to nine minutes later that the remainder of our party received their first course. It was a further 8-10 minutes before our mini bowls came and two of them were wrong. One was sent back and returned minutes later still wrong but she was hungry and kept it. Not sure if there was trouble in the kitchen or what it was and the dining area was not crowded at all. We arrived at one was left at three. Food tasted good but that was all be that was. Not sure what the problem was, but we wont be back for while. Thank you.
Poor service all around. Server was always rushing us from from the moment we sat down. The breadsticks were over done and crunchy. I ordered an appetizer that was forgotten about and didnt come out until I had my entree. And even then it (fried calamari) was so over cooked it might as well have been chips. The only good part was my entree. The manager was nice enough to pay for my appetizer. There was just so much wrong it wasnt possible to have a good experience.
I cant say that we were super impressed. Its been awhile since weve visited any Olive Garden, but our daughter chose to eat here for her birthday. Staff was nice although a bit overwhelming at times. Portions were way smaller than normal for dinner. Our daughter did receive a free dessert for her birthday which was nice, but she was bummed that they didnt sing to her. I imagine in todays time, its hard enough to find quality, hard working people much less a crew to stop what theyre doing to come sing a song. None of this would stop us from coming back, it just wouldnt be our first choice.
Im giving this place three stars only because the staff are super friendly. The food has gotten worse and worse over time. It used to taste pretty fresh, but the past few times Ive been with family everything tastes like its out of a can or was frozen and didnt spend enough time in the microwave. And with how much they charge for their food thats just wrong.
Had a party of 7. We where seated. Sat there for 10 minutes without being assisted. While sitting there we tried to get multiple workers attention. Finally, we got some help. Placed our drink and food order. Sat there for 20 minutes without our waiter coming by again. One of us got up to see if we could get our salad and breadsticks, 6 workers where standing at the desk by the door talking. So regardless after speaking to the manager and letting her know how it was going, We all walked out. I understand sometimes it’s extremely busy, i work in customer service, but there was 2 other tables of people and no one else.
Let me start by saying me and my wife ate here the week before and it was delightful. We went for lunch on my lunch break. We were seated and no one even took our drink order for over 25 minutes. I only get an hour for lunch. We may have sat there for the whole hour if I hadnt said something. The manager was notified but never said a word to us. I was very disappointed.
First pasta was cold but on a warm dish. Food should not had been sent out cold. My wifes dish was hot though she wasnt impressed. It makes me think the cooks dont have control of the kitchen or they need to focus on time management when making dishes. My second pasta was hot and amazing but doesnt make up for the first dish being cold. Other than that it would have been good. Just didnt enjoy it like I should have.
Its not so bad that the food is over priced for the quality, I can deal with that. However, after my meal I went to the restroom, where one of the kitchen staff was in a stall, I was using the restroom when he got up, flushed and walked straight out the door, never once stopped to wash his hands, needless to say, I probably will not be dining there anymore.
The food and service were great but the hostess who sat us had something that smelled of rotten coconut in her hair. It stank so badly that you could smell it from 10 away. We almost left without eating but thought the worst was over. It was not. Every time she walked by us to seat someone else I had to stop eating for a minute to let the horrible smell go away. I do not understand why management would let someone with such an offensive smell work with the public.
This location still has a minor problem with cleanliness. Upon being seated, I saw two pieces of trash on the floor. They were still there when I left. Numerous employees either walked by it or on it. Nothing. One young man with a SWEEPER in his hand looked right at one of them & did NOTHING. Come on OG, CLEAN up your act. Having said this, our server Lindsey was awesome & the food was great.
Bad order turned out good. I started to give this location a 1 however I changed my mind because of the Manger Barbie. My order was horrible waited curbside for almost an hour! Get to hotel food was horrible .. I called and spoke with Barbie ( The Manager). We were visiting Carrollton because my son was in a Baseball Tournament. Barbie corrected my order and personally delivered our food to the hotel. Corporate will hear about this! Thanks Barbie!
Went again today and the service was great but the food was horrible. Bread sticks were the only thing that was hot. Sent my chicken Alfredo was cold. Messed up my order and didn’t bring chicken for my fettuccine Alfredo until I was almost done eating my meal. I had to ask three times to get it and they put way too much dressing on the salad.
The service was simply awful. Our waitress didnt take our drink order for at least 15 minutes. Once we placed our drink order we ordered our food. She came out with the salad , breadsticks and soup we ordered but forgot our drinks and a second salad plate. She came back with our drinks and salad plate about 10 minutes later after we had finished just about everything. Then we ordered another bowl of soup which came pretty quickly along with our appetizer and salad but there was no spoon for the soup. Her solution was to point to the appetizer and offer the spoon from it to use in the soup. By this point one drink was empty the other half empty. We asked for a refill which we got after we were done with the meal. I could certainly excuse the service if there were alot of people but as best as I could tell when we sat she had one table finishing and us by the end of the meal she had one new table and us.
I enjoy it every time! You know the food is going to be delicious when the wait staff is proud to deliver it to you! Its apparent to me, this restaurant cares about providing a pleasant dining experience. The restaurant is very clean, the food is great & the wait staff is friendly & attentive.
We just got done eating and walked out to our vehicle and realized we left our keys inside. So we went back up to the door and knocked because it was after 10pm so they were closed. We had to stand there for awhile before they even noticed someone trying to get back in the building even though we had literally walked out maybe 30 sec ago!! The manager finally comes to the door and inform us we can get back in the building to get our belongings! Like what? You just saw us walk out and you are saying we can’t come back in to get our keys???? So the manger then asked what table we were sitting at. We told her. She then closed the door while we were still outside and FINALLY brings our keys back to us. This was the first time we have ate here in a year for waiting 2 hours for food for a party of 6 and 2 toddlers so needless to say because of this incident we will not be back!!
Waitress ran our credit card 11 times charging over $400.00 in overdraftSarah was our waitressShe had the manager deliver our bill which was strange,,,, this was done one purposeDO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS RESTAURANT!!!!It’s our 3rd time in a row things were screwed up ,,, but not this badTotal lack of professionalism by managementSarah is a discruntaled employee
If you are ever dining here on a Saturday afternoon after 4pm please request Brandon. I am a very picky customer but Brandon was amazing . Even during the rush he treated us as if we were the only table in the building. The laughter and smiles made my day. We will definitely go back when Brandon is there. Keep up the great work.
Had a party of 60 there tonight. This is the 2nd time i have had a party there that consisted of upwards of 60 people. Ofcourse I called a week in advance to make sure they have the extra food and workers to accommodate the party. Both time they have done a excellent job. The restaurant is always clean and the service is nothing short of amazing. Got everyones orders both times and was able to have everyone there food in less then a hour, for 60 orders at one time I find that pretty darn great thats a min a order. Great place to host a party and great service. TY everyone involved.
I love Olive Garden. This was my first and most likely last experience at this particular location. The service was slow, but friendly. My Chicken and Gnocchi soup only had two pieces of gnocchi. My friend ordered Seafood Alfredo. Her portion size was noticibly small. We asked our server about it and she agreed it looked small... At first. Then she did some backpedaling and got the manager. The manager came and essentially argued that the portion size is always the same, so it must have been plated incorrectly. He even offered to count the shrimp to prove he was right! How kind of him to offer such services! He also offered to remake the plate, but we had already waited 40 minutes for our entrees and werent about to start over. The food tasted great, everyone else had the normal portions. The final nail in this dining coffin was the lack of after dinner mints. Our waitress neglected to bring those.I will say that upon our exit, another manager asked about our visit and was very eager to make things right. We declined his offer because we were already heading out the door. He did manage to get us some mints, though!
I was a first time customer the night of October 19th and ordered the Minestrone soup to go. The soup was so hearty and delicious that I ordered it again the following monday evening to go and was terribly disappointed. My bowl was only about half full, so I definitely felt cheated out of $6.90 time I took it out the bag. The soup looked leftover from another day or two and had a slightly burned taste!! Still recovering from surgery, I didnt feel like going right back out so I threw it in the trash and heated up a can of chicken noodle soup. I cant believe I tipped the young lady for giving me something not edible.
This place has superb customer service! Every time I have gone there the staff and the food has always been great. I recently visited a different location in Miami and the food and service was not appealing. This location has definitely set and exceeded my expectations for Olive Garden Restaurants.
I sent my friends to this place with my highest recommendations. I visit this restaurant often. This recommendation is always successful. The dishes they serve are delicious and the crew is generous and cooperative. Whenever we go to this place we have a splendid time. I recommend this place with pleasure.
I was never a fan of pasta but Olive Garden has made me a fan! I normally order my food to go for lunch and I have never had to wait for my pick up order. The waitresses are always on point never forgetting extra add ons and offering great customer service. The bread sticks and soups never let me down.
My noodles were over cooked for my chicken Alfredo, and my wife’s salad had hairs in it. We generally love this restaurant, but this time I had to make a google account just to say this. I am disappointed mostly. Not sure if I can revisit if this is an example that Olive Garden sets for the rest of their restaurants.
I had high expectations because the Olive Garden that we usually visit is amazing. Sadly, this one (Carrollton) is NOT. Six hostesses (maybe servers too) standing around up front when we walked in. We were seated quickly at a filthy table (literally food on the table and chairs). We had to ask for it to be wiped off and the server did a shoddy job. I used my napkin to finish the job. The food was subpar. The server was not much better. We were brought the wrong (very expensive) dessert. Took 20 minutes to get my credit card back after paying!!! Superbly disgusting and not worth your time...I promise!
We waited over an hour for our food. After the food was brought out. The server disapeard and didnt finish handing out the food. Managment discounted our meals but the experience was lacking based on great experiences with other locations. I would say this may have been my worse experience at a restaurant period.
We waited over an hour for our food and finally asked to get it packaged to go. We got there at 3:50 pm and left with our to go boxes at 5pm. The weather is horrible so nobody was out today. Also our bill was wrong so we had to wait for that to be correctedDont think the manager was happy at all either!! Prob wont go back to this OG on our many trips thru Carrollton.
We had a horrible experience with my daughters 17th birthday. Not only did it take 20 mins to get our drinks, they didnt bring plates for our appetizer (we had a party of 7), and after our entrees were brought the server asked me to cut into steak to make sure it was cooked right she just walked away. The steak wasnt cooked right. We had to tell her 5 times to brings to go soups and it still took her 20 mins after that to bring the check. If Jordan is your server here ask to be re-seated. Horrible experience
I love olive garden and usually the food is great. But last week I got the buy one take one to go. My bread sticks were hard. On the main dish the pasta was tough form over cooking and there was not much sauce. On the take home item the pasta was also over cooked. I will not be trying the buy one take one again because the take one was not very good heated on the second day.
There is always something great to eat here, no matter whichever one you go to. They are all consistent in food prep. Only one complaint is they took braised filet pieces with tortolonni in marsala sauce with mushrooms off the menu. That was delicious and worth the extra money. We have friends that do not eat there very much because of that. We have to order something else but that was a meal fit for a King , wished they would at least have it on the menu maybe as a winter special. Have it on the menu 6 months instead of not at all !!!
Our waiter was great!!!! Not sure of his name but he had dark hair & beard. We sat in the bar area with our granddaughter. He was excellent. Brought extra grapes for our grandchild & was so professional & nice. Wish I knew his name. Thats wat service is all about. Thank you!!!
Would not recommend this location at all. My waitress was phenomenal, but I found a huge hair in my food and the manager came up to take my plate. She didnt say sorry or anything, instead she just asked me what i had and didnt act like it was a big deal or try to compensate me anything. She was incredibly rude about the situation. Worst customer service Ive received at a nice restaurant in a while.
Normally olive garden is pretty good but this location just seems to fail too often. Not only did they forget a good portion of my order during this visit when reminded, not being hateful but just either bring it or just take it off the check it was cool, we had the waitress break down crying. This is the second time they have ruined a first date by souring the evening and making it akward. Again the olive garden is great just this location I wouldnt go back to.
The Carrollton location is beyond the best Ive ever been at. The service is phenomenal. The servers make sure everything is perfect and if its the least than they expect than they will make sure your 100% satisfied. Food and drinks were prepared perfectly. Its my top 1 restaurant in Carrollton.
Taste of Italy ordered. Fettuccini noodles were dried out, lasagna noodles werent done. Didnt eat but a few bites. Waiter said he would get mgr. The dish was taken off the bill, ...ok...but...The mgr. never came to the table to offer or ask if we wanted another dish or apology. I thought that was so unprofessional!
My server decided that 3 times to a table in 1hr and 30 minutes was a good amount. I had to practically get down on my knees and beg a different waitress for a refill my drink, And then we had to wait another 30 minutes for my to go drink. Honestly the worst experience Ive ever had!!!!! if you go to olive garden in Carrollton please ask for anyone but Jordan!!
Our waitress was rude and impatient, and didnt check on us. Two other tables which arrived about 20 minutes after we did, both ate and left before we even got our food. When we got our food, all if it was cold. I got the fettucini Alfredo and I had raw noodles. Not even half of it was covered in sauce.. the manager said he would take off the bill because my step dad left because he was fed up and never received his food even though he only ordered a soup. And the manager only took off his soup. I sent my Alfredo back and it came back microwaved..
Mothers day crowds even at 2:15 generated a 25 minute wait. From beginning of seating till end of bill took 2 hours for a table of 6. Unlimited salad bowl 3x ,all were fresh. The soup not so great. Order seemed to come out in shifts with one childs chicken completely forgotten. Past that, no complaints about the rest of the order all satisfied with their chosen main course, server for the corner table in the bar was clearly tired presumably from their shift but patient with the 6 of us including the 2 kids. BILL HAD TWO ERRORS!! Check your bills carefully!!
The first time I have ever not left tip. I go there ever couple months or so and always great service and food but the waitress this time was horrible didnt get apps till after food forgot the cheese twice acted like no big deal never offered wine had to ask for glasses back wish I knew her name but other than her always a great place
Our local Olive garden is great with great service and friendly people who really cares about you and your experience. The food is always hot and fresh and the salads are great even in the winter when good salad ingredients are hard to find this is one that I definitely recommend.
Larry full on was rude to another waitress because she tired to speak to us and yelled at her for no reason because she was nice and was trying to help us. But the hostress was so mean and rude that she talked mean about us. Never go back to. Ps the hostess set multiple tables before us knowing we were first and talked about us for 20 minutes. She is the worst.
My husband and I came in for dinner for his birthday on 8/10/18. We sat over in the bar section. Jamila was a server. She was absolutely amazing! She was so sweet and has the best personality. I asked the hostess to let her know that it was my husbands birthday so he could be surprised. Jamila and her co workers came out with a piece of cake and sang Happy Birthday to his surprise. We had the best time. Thank you Jamila for a great dining experience and making my husbands birthday even more special! Youre a gem!

2022-05-03Service was impeccable by Arasia and Ms. Ethel. Food was wonderful we had the Endless Soup, Salad and Breadsticks. I had the Chicken Gnocchi and it was fresh and hot. We had so much food and they sang Happy Birthday to my mom and gave her a piece of the Black Tie Chocolate cake and she enjoyed that as well. It was just a great outing!!!

2022-03-03Staff here are awesome....it did take quite a while to get our main dishes but we went on a weekend and they were super packed so that was totally understandable....besides the food was worth the wait....more than plenty in the portions and the salmon with broccoli side almost melts in your mouth...fabulous experience

2022-06-01Kendrick was absolutely amazing. We had a rather difficult (and grumpy) party of 8 after my Aunt’s funeral and he went above and beyond to meet our needs. The kitchen was on it, the food was delicious. Thank you all so much!

2022-05-11This Olive Garden generally lacks flavor or pizazz. Their food is very mediocre but the have generally good staff with an alright atmosphere. I only go on the rare occasion when I’m craving Italian, but truth be told, some other more homestyle Italian restaurant would be better.

2022-05-14Party of 10.... they take us to a table with 9 chair, someone will be with yall in a minute. Ok so we get a chair from another table. No problem, waiter brings us 5 bread sticks no plates,8 sets of silverware.takes our drink order. Have to ask for straws, gives us 5 ask again. Now food we have one in the party who cant eat eggs so she cant have dressing on salad, one no onion or tomatos so they ask for a small bowl just for each of them. But he brings out to big bowls of salad one with no onions and tomato and the other no dressing. The rest of the 8 has to choose which on to eat. So go ask for the manager tell her what has happen she say oh we have never had any problems with him. But I will take care of yall well our food comes out then manager comes and say do what do we need, at this point. I just want to leave. So now have our food and dressing to put on salad. Now we out of drinks have to ask many times to get refills some have coke, water and teas so he takes the two cokes fills them up walks away ask can we get tea and water too. Have to ask for check so we can pay. Oh yea did I say this was Mothers Day.Happy Mothers day to me. Oh never seem manager again after she brought us some dressing.THANK YOU Olive Garden
