Olive Garden Italian Restaurant in other cities:
There is a reason why I haven’t eaten at The Olive Garden in over 15 years because their food is just not good!! The stuff ziti and mozzarella were room temperature. I had angel hair paste with four cheese marinara sauce and it was not good at all. All the sauces seemed watered down. The best thing on the table were the breadsticks, salad and drinks. The waitress made the visit pleasant because she was sweet and very friendly. She refilled the drinks without question and made her presence known in case we needed her. The Olive Garden is a NO for me. The two stars was for the service (I would have given her 5 stars) as for the food I would have given it 0 stars.
Just waited 20 minutes to be seated only to have a server who came very energetically and seemed eager to take our drink order, only to never come back to check on us or even take our food order after waiting another 30 minutes after being seated. Got up and left and not one person we walked by acknowledged that we were even there. Highly dissatisfied with the staff, the only ones actually doing their job are the hostess.
Worst service we have ever experienced at any Olive Garden. Had endless soup, salad and bread sticks. The server brought out salad and soup once. Never came back till he tried to give us our check. I ordered Alfredo sauce to dip my bread sticks in and never received it. Do not reccomend this location. Horrible service.
My family and I have been to this location and for the first time. We ordered take out. Our food was cold and when calling we were placed on hold and the person that answered was very dismissive and nonchalant. We were told a manager would call back and never received it. It has now been multiple weeks and each time we calm the manager is not in. At this point, we just want a refund for the hassle.
We went here Friday night and as we walked in the hostess was sitting down staring at me as if she did not want to be bothered. She did not say hello just “Are you dining in? She looked at her coworker ad tho she was irritated so I asked her “ Is there a problem” she said “No we just close in 20 mins!” If that is the case lock the door 20 mins till so we don’t have to irritated you! We got seated with an attitude. We ordered quickly and ate pretty fast. We had no intention on sitting and chatting all night. As we were the last ppl in our section a little after 11 one of the workers sneezed really loud to be funny. Not funny!! Is it a restaurant! Our waiter came over and apologized when we addressed it. We was out of there before 11:30. All the extra attitude and antics is soo unnecessary!!!
The food was not cooked correctly ie. cold shrimp. The server was lost trying to figure out how to get our food on time and to our table. We had to have our daiquiris made twice as they were a watery messes. We basically spent $77 that night for poor service and questionable food. Olive Garden needs to learn to train their staff as well as have management walk-through checking tables. I will not be back to dine there for quite a while. It is obvious they have become the franchise Italian and endless soup, salad and breadsticks wont fix their issues.
Diamond was our server........ she did a horrible job.Took over 10 minutes to greet us.Forgot 3 different things we asked for.Had a very dry demeanor and didnt trwat us as good as she did other guests. We are black, other guests were white. Not an accusation, just an observation. This olive garden has gone down by a significant amount over the years. They have finally lost me as a customer after multiple failed chances.I would not recommend.
The servers were so close to our table saying “i’m not taking that table. Idk whos going to take it but it’s not me” very unprofessional. I was already upset, then we was offered drinks by a tall guy who was one of those who said they didn’t want to take our table. Afterwards, our server was switched to a lady named Kai. She was very sweet and nice but that was the only good part. I came home feeling incredibly sick and threw up dark stuff when i had alfredo. I ate nothing else earlier besides toast. The person i went with also vomited and before knowing, i let my mother and sister taste the food and they felt sick too! I believe we got food poisoning because this experience was ridiculous. Very upsetting.
Food was good just soup and salad. But our booth smelled really bad. First row of when going left on the right. Back right booth, need some scrubbingRevised today.. service was so slow for a lunch rush. Our waiter needed more training. He said there was a big party table slowing down the kitchen.. so due to this we were the over a hour and only had one bowl of soup and salad. . I have to ask the to just box it up. We were out of time ... I should have just asked for the manager and not had to pay for the food I was taking but I was over the whole situation and just need to leave. .SadAlso please deep clean your restaurant ..
Avoid this location. You will thank me for it.My experience was so BAD it’s laughable! Olive Garden please don’t respond to this review with some BS platitude response. So many similar negative reviews from the past year. If Olive Garden was serious about improvement they would have already made changes. We ignored the reviews and that is our mistake.Went with a party of 2 adults and 3 kids. First sat us at a table for 4. Asked to be moved to a table that would fit us. Hostess walked away to get a manager and did not come back. Left us standing in middle of the restaurant for a few minutes. Another server saw us and sat us at her table.Ordered drinks. First wine glass had lipstick marks and was dirty asked for a new wine glass. Second glass had food chunks in it. Ordered a beer on tap. When I asked about when I would get my beer server just said we don’t have beer on tap. Why would she take my order for a beer in the 1st place. Glad I asked she would have just not said anything.Ordered appetizers and main course. Received appetizers quickly and then a few minutes later main course was dropped off. We just started to eat our appetizers. I give them credit for speed as it was 11 minutes from time we placed the order to receiving appetizers and main course. My wife was handed her plate that happened to be very hot and she burned her hand. One meal was wrong. Drinks refilled with wrong soda. My food was just not good. For a baked ziti it was watery. Shrimp scampi was bad. Shrimp was rubbery. We won’t be back and the best thing for this location is to close its doors and focus on to-go orders. We did speak with the manager and she agreed that our experience was bad.
I was there recently with my wife to get the tasty chicken Parmesan and the chicken and shrimp carbonara, which I got every time I go there but this last time the experience wasnt good at all:We got table as soon as we arrived, that was great,Server took long to showed up, he was polite but took longI ordered chicken parmesan, it was ok, tomato sauce was not flavor full, marinara sauce should be used not just tomato sauce,, I requested to substitute spaghetti marinara with cream sauce, and my wife got the carbonara. Both dishes wasnt good it was ok, my side dish (spaghetti cream sauce) was not tossed, I meant they just dropped sauce over plain pasta, and my wifes pasta was full of butter, looked like it was butter sauce with broken cream sauce, sadly she didnt finish it, I requested hot sauce, I didnt get it, server showed just 2 times, I am a chef so I know what Iam talking about, we wanted to have a good meal but wasnt good as I expected. Ill be back soon to get another try, may be reviews help to improve. Ill se you soon.
Edwin was absolutely amazing . He made our night amazing ! He embodied what amazing customer service is . There isn’t anything he can improve on . He treated us with respect , made us laugh and was extremely professional ! He gets 1000/10 stars ! Will definitely request again . We were the Jamaican couple that laughed . Thank you for being great . Continue to be you !
This Olive Garden was much better than the others Ive been too. Although the wait time was around 20 minutes, the food arrived fairly quickly. Our server was friendly and came back quickly every time we requested more bread sticks or salad. The food was delicious as always, although expensive. We came on a special day and were able to buy a kids meal for my younger brother for $1, so that was a bonus. I highly recommend the ravioli appetizer, minestrone soup, and any type of pesto pasta.
Service was so so. Took very long time to get anything the waiter did not already bring. Ask anything like 2nd serving of salad or dressing took 10 mins and 3 walk bys to get. Food itself were fine. The chicken marsala was kind of small after you see the cheese melted makes it look bigger than it is and there was very little marsala sauce.
Ordered for curbside delivery the Asiago Tortelloni with grilled chicken & the eggplant parmigiana (came with 4 eggplant slices). It said it would be ready in 25 mins when I ordered it from home & i was surprised when I drove up, notified them that I was there & the server came right out with HOT food that was still hot when I got home & ate it.Both dishes were delicious, along with the minestrone soup full of vegetables. The salad wa just iceberg lettuce with 2 black olives, a few carrot strips & slivers of red onion. The salad was a bit skimpy which is why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5.Attached are pics of our actual dish & pics of the same dish on the Olive Garden website.
Waited for 10 minutes until the lady manager finally came over (after occasionally looking at me when she was talking to the other manager). When she did took my drink order but got it wrong and it was like there wasn’t any alcohol in it. I had to order a completely different drink. Service here kind of sucked. No wonder why I stopped dining here.
Service has truly declined this year! I actually sat at table 25 minutes without seeing my server. I even tried calling in my order as I sat at the table only to be placed on hold an additional 15 minutes. So now 40 minutes sitting at table and still have not ordered my waitress finally comes and says she will be backSorry but I think I will just got to Red Lobster across the street!
The front desk manager Dora doesn’t seem to want to honor our Online reservation. We were shown online that we were a certain place on the list and when we got to Olive Garden they dropped us cause “we were not there”. This doesn’t make sense why have online system if they want you to still check in person before the clock starts. Completely useless and unaccomadating by Dora and she has attitude issues.
Smells awful walking into this place. If I was by myself I wouldve left immediately. Definitely need to do something about the bathrooms smelling that bad being at the entrance. Literally smells like porta-potty. Shouldnt be greated with that type of smell walking in Olive Garden. Not to mention I had to send my food back twice tonight. Just not good. Give it a 1 b/c my server did what was needed.
I ordered the seafood pasta and it barely had any sauce, and the sauce it did have taste like water almost like it was left over previously and heated. I also ordered cheese cake that was disgusting. The cheesecake was not fresh at all the crust was soft and probably hours if not minutes from expiring. The bread sticks were probably from way earlier in the day and the side soup had a long piece of metal in it SMH.... This was a curbside pick up so I had no interaction with the employees except for the girl who brought my food out who was extremely nice. So there was no altercation with me and any employee that provoked me to write a bad review. (Honest Review)
The food was good. My only complaint is that it took about 20 minutes after being seated to actually get someone to take my drink order. Once I did order the food came relatively quick. I ordered the stuffed mushrooms appetizer. Of course they always give you bread sticks and your choice of soup or salad. I opted for the salad. Both salad and mushrooms were tasty and fresh. For my entrée I ordered the Tour of Italy which is chicken parmigiano, fettuccine Alfredo, and lasagna. All three on one plate. The portions were large and very filling. Between the mushrooms, salad, and pasta I could not finish everything and most certainly did not have room for any deserts.
Thank you NERISSA for the very attentive customer service and laughing at our corny jokes. The food came out very fast and was delicious. We had the eggplant with pasta, seafood pasta, calamari, spinach dip and chicken dumpling spinach soup with raspberry lemonade and mango strawberry sweet tea. We had to add salt and black pepper to our liking, which is necessary at most chain type restaurants these days. Great atmosphere and although it’s always packed it still feels like you are in a nice cozy restaurant with great service.
My wife and I came here on what was like the busiest day and almost everyone was celebrating a birthday as were we the waitress was great very nice and helpful food tasted very good and I found not one thing wrong with it even the girls up front were nice and I did not wait long for a table, I hope I can have the same experience next time
Food was just ok. They took the bruschetta off the menu. Salad was limp. I had the spaghetti which was ok, sauce a little more bland than usual. My wife had the manicotti with giant meatball; that meatball was huge (see pics), wife said it was bland. She had some kind of soup of the day with potatoes, which she said was good.Service was great.Place smelled like old mops. Place was empty but hostess kept sitting the few people that came in right next to each other, when there were tons of tables available.4 for service 1 for food.
My Sweetheart listen to Me saying, I would like to go here, so he surprised me. It started a little shaky because the Young Lady/Greater act as if she didnt want to work. My Sweetheart tried to make her smile and still she was unpleasant. Then , she seated us and things improved. Our waitress (Jada) was Amazing, Informative, and gave us service with a smile. And she always checked on us, shes a keeper, Great example of Customer Service. The other Staff were friendly as well, telling us goodnight as we were leaving. We saw the Young Lady again on our way out and her demeanor was still unpleasant.
Worst experience ever. We arrived and we knew we had a wait time but they took away too long. They were seating people that came in after us. When I asked why they were seating them before us when they were larger parties then us they said there are parties before you, explaining that they had called in to reserve or came in earlier to leave their information. I asked many of the customers being seated before us if they had reservations and all said No. Hosts and front manager were rude and completely ignorant, they had no clue to what they were doing. When we finally were seated another chaos. They ran out of draft beer, ice cream and they had no spoons due to their dish washer being broken. Honestly I have never been to any restaurant with such horrible service.
The service was a little bit more to ask for. Our server was amazing but it took like 15 minutes for them to realize no one was assigned to us. However the redeeming quality was how nice the server that did take us was especially since he was taking care of a party and wasnt assigned to us but chose to just serve us anyways. They might just be understaffed right now or possibly that was just a bad day for staff.Regardless the food was good for everything except the pasta was a little hard. Tastes like they may keep it cooking for a little too long so it might be something to note if you order pasta there. Soup was really yummy, and our drinks were lovely.Overall a pretty good experience. Will be visiting again.
Came in & ha Caitlyn as my server. She was super sweet & gave me an excellent recommendation of her favorite the Asiago chicken tortellini. It was so good & melted in my mouth. The only issue was the pasta was a little chewy, but other than that 5 stars. She also recommended the peach Bellini & it was the perfect amount of sweet with some bubbles Thanks Caitlyn for my perfect recommendation. I’ll be back
This restaurant is a wonderful choice for anyone who is looking to celebrate their birthdays, weddings, graduations, etc. The food is absolutely delicious. My favorite dishes are the Cheese Ravioli and 5 Cheese ziti. It’s always so convenient to have unlimited salads and breadsticks. Both are served SUPER fresh. The staff is very friendly and attentive to your needs. Also, when you’re done eating, you get to pay on the Ziosk at your table instead of flagging down your server. Keep in mind that this restaurant is most popular on Friday and Saturday night, you could be waiting up to half hour on your table but it’s ok because there is wonderful service coming your way.
The food and service were both great but where we were sitting we could hear a manager yelling at the wait staff multiple times throughout our meal. I feel like the management should speak to their employees with more respect but at the very least they should keep the volume down enough so that it doesnt disturb their guests.
I have been on several life changing diets so I rarely end up eating pasta and bread but my date said that she likes the place. Surprisingly, after sticking to the gluten free option and dropping my fear of bread I enjoyed the meal fully. The waitress was slightly showing how much her feet were hurting by forgetting my sparkling water a couple of times. But, I assume part of that was due to me asking her for Pellegrino by the code word sparkling water… but hey they all have to learn eventually.
Absolutely disgusting. Avoid this restaurant like the plague. First of all, we ordered the mango strawberry tea and it tasted as if it was just watered down unsweetened tea. When the waitress came to get the 4 cups off the table, she dipped her fingers inside the cups to pick them up. Makes me wonder if thats how they get placed on their tray. Second of all, all the silverware was just disgustingly dirty. Not just cloudy but there was actual pieces of dried food on the forks that come wrapped in the black napkin and the soup spoons. When we asked for the manager, of course the workers were super offended but Im sorry, what is so offensive about not wanting to eat with dirty silverware??? Then the manager (no idea if she was since she had no name tag and didnt introduced herself) comes with an attitude saying whats the issue? We told her the silverware is really dirty and she goes ok you want your food to go then?, didnt offer clean silverware or anything. So we cancelled everything and left.
YEEEEEEESSSIR went here yesterday with the gang. started off with the bread and the good good salad 🤤 then the entrees came out, ahhh man. i made my own pasta with the creamy mushroom rigotti noodles and grilled chicken THEN took advantage of that $5 take home entree. ya boy was stuffed😩 my waitress was cool too. wish i could remember her name, give that woman a raise tho, she deserves it 🙌🏽
This is the restaurant next to the defunct Gwinnett Mall and its where you take your screaming children, or those acting like them. I suppose this review would be more favorable but for the slowness and misidentified menu items. First, when you suggest that something has zucchini as the first ingredient, you need to have more of that in the fritter. Next, waiting for the cows to come home before you serve your guests their order is just too long.
I came and waited for someone to come and take our order. No one came.I understand that when is busy it takes time but the restaurant wasn’t that busy. The waitress passed by our table two times and didn’t say anything. They say other people in a table beside us and they started to take their order as soon as they got there. We left and no one said anything and they waitress did notice. When we were leavingWe saw by the window that they sat people in the table that we were and the waitress was there maybe taking they order. Really bad costumer service never coming back. I used to come every Sunday
Worst experience. Hosts are very unprofessional, rude and disrespectful. From moment you walk in you aren’t greeted the moment I mentioned we were a big crowd they start mumbling debating where to sit us. Asked if we had children in our group and were relieved to know we did not. Told me there was a long wait when I could see not many people there. I think they wanted us to leave. That makes you know this is Not a family friendly restaurant. Avoid if you have children. Your children should be treated the best!!! I was called up front by the host who was on her phone being loud with her coworkers to tell me to use indoor voices when we laugh. There are way more profesional ways to ask clients to be quieter than tell them they are being so loud when they laugh to use indoor voices. Worst experience ever. We waited for almost an hour patiently and hosts wanted us to wait in silence. Avoid restaurant if you would like to have an amazing dinner. The HOSTS are absolutely rude. It’s not worth spending your money to be treated so nasty and rude. No complains about our waitress she was a sweet heart very attentive.
I visited after dropping my car off, not many olive gardens left, the service was great we sat and got served at the bar, Jessica was very attentive, though she was busy she didnt miss a beat she even conversed when she could. The soup and salad was fresh and plentiful as well.Im giving 4 star due to the optional masks though employees were masked. When Im in the area I will visit again. Thanks Jessica for welcoming service its so needed during these times of uncertainty.
I would give this place zero stars, but that’s not an option. When we walked in, the place smelled like sewage. We sat at our table for a very long time. Servers walked around us, serving other tables and never took our drink order…nor did they acknowledge that we were sitting there. So, we just got up and walked out.
Avoid this location. My wife and I attempted to dine here however, upon entering we were greeted by the awful smell of dirty mop water. The host was nice and apologetic and the reason for the 3 stars. If the front smelled that bad that brought the sanitation of the kitchen into question as well.
I placed an order, came to pick it up and it was completely cold (after I informed them i would be awhile and to keep it in the to go warmer). After rejecting my food BECAUSE IT WAS COLD the manager, Dora (she was right there when i informed the to go person I was dissatisfied) met me at my car after waiting 10 minutes (wasting my TIME) and tells me that I gotta wait another 30-40 minutes for them to recook everything, that they took it off because food can only be there for so long. and I now have to wait for them to prepare everyone else’s food before I can get mine.. They did absolutely nothing to rectify this situation. Sad part is, I worked at Olive Garden. Here I am telling my coworkers “let’s get Olive Garden” to completely embarrass my self. Olive Garden used to be so much better. Dissatisfied and sad. I’ve taken names and will be speaking personally with the general manager about this situation as well. Would not recommend this location AT ALL
The place was exactly as expected. The service was horrible though. I always order a salad and water which costs $7.96 and I always pay with a $20 so that I give a great tip for good service. My waiter did not check on me at all. I sat there for 10 minutes after I finished eating waiting to get a to go cup and box to put the remaining salad in for later. Also the salad had no croutons. I finally just paid on the kiosk and left. I will never stop at this olive garden again.
My boyfriend and I are not from here, we came to visit and back home we usually don’t like Olive Garden for various reasons. This was the best visit we have had at an Olive Garden. Elisa was our server and she was amazing, such a sweetheart and very attentive. The food was amazing also!!
This particular Olive Garden needs a little sprucing up. It is looking very rough. The food was good, except it seemed like they were stingy with the dressing on the salad. The soups were good. They could not provide the special teas. Had good service. But appeared that the waitresses had to cover too many tables. Guess they too are having trouble hiring workers.
My experience could’ve been good if it wasn’t for those hosts. Right away when i walked in, those girls on their phone chit chatting loudly about their work drama in the most childish ways doing absolutely nothing for all the guests sitting and waiting but the worst part of it all was that girl Jacky with her nasty attitude on top of not even wearing a mask and talking to guests in a diminishing way. This is my 3rd time seeing this girl and i don’t understand how she is still there after talking to the guests the way that she does, rolling her eyes making people feel stupid. When you walk through a restaurant the first impression is the host because that is the first person you see. Right away this girl Jacky ruins your dinner with her negativity. Either train that little girl or fire her because it’s not pleasant to eat when you have these hosts ruining your dinner. I will not be back until i see better hosts attending this restaurant.
I placed a to go order and was told it should take about 20 mins. Well it took 1hr, then my shrimps were under cooked. So I had to wait almost another 30 mins for a new well done order. The guy packing the orders wearing no mask and hanging over the food orders on the counter. It was very busy and several orders ws not correct. Customer kept coming back. Only thing good about this experience was the bar tender while I waited for my long order.I was craving pasta and lost my appetite waiting so long. I will not go back.
We had a horrible experience here during our experience here . Started out with the wrong drinks that came out , then forgot to put in our appetizer never came out, then I got handed the wrong lunch , then got free desert for the bad experience which also CAME OUT WRONG. How you gonna be the manager and bring the wrong desert out ? This was horrible during our lunch break. Please go make food at home or buy one from the freezer . Better service there then here . Jesus Christ.
Coming here tonight for a quick date night was by far the best experience I have ever had at an Olive Garden and it was all thanks to our waitress Leena!! She was the epitome of great customer service, her attentiveness and her warm & friendly spirit was so refreshing. We want to go back to this location just for her, oh and the food was good too!
Beware,Very very bad services and food,From the host just yelling that they not make online reservations when you ask at the front desk to the the waitress, lazy lazy people, lack in training, cold food, very bad. Now if you just think to ask what is happening with the quality that they had before the manager answers “ What you want, it is the kitchen fault”Sorry I never spend any $$$ on celebration or weekends in that trash place.Good luck
We just left Olive Garden in Duluth. And waited 30 minutes to get served once we seated. I honestly think they overlooked my family of 4. Autumn (our server) finally came to our table only after my wife asked another server and inquired on who was supposed to wait on our table. We had to get her attention throughout our dining experience. We ask for items and she forgot and had to remind her again and again.
This rating is based off of my first and last visit to this location. Ordered curbside and food wasnt ready until 15 minutes after the time they told us. Had to call them eventually to ask about our food and they said it would be out shortly, but that was additional waiting time. Worse was that the food was cold and the Bread sticks were very salty. Staff was very courteous though. Maybe they were having an off night, who knows. Better luck to you!
WOW! What a fantastic experience. Lina, our waitress, was probably the best waitress we have ever had. She was on top of the order, got everything right without writing anything down, she was so kind , and most of all so personable. The kids loved her too, when askedHow they enjoyed dinner, they said “our waitress was awesome”. Lina made our experience at Olive Garden not only memorable, but absolutely calming with the 3 hyper boys we have. Thank you so much for such a great dinner time with our family!!!!!! The Meiers
I was very disappointed with my meal. I have been going to Olive Garden over thirty years and this has been the worst 😫 meal ever. I placed a curbside pickup for lasagna. The entre was cold and the cheese was not melted. The bread sticks were cold, wet and hard. The Salad did not have any salad dressing. Just terrible.disappointed.
Despite all the adjustments for covid 19. Olive garden is keeping much of the best of what they do. The menu has been stripped down to the essentials but theres some of the best things that most people want anyway. I had a delicious salmon with steamed broccoli and the pasta fagiol soup and the ever present breadsticks. Paired with the house chianti and I was a happy camper top scorers to our server who was present but not intrusive and kept us well stocked on everything that we needed. a very pleasant experience in a quiet atmosphere that allowed for good conversation and could company. And they werent in a hurry to get us out the doors.
Our party, 4 adults & 5 kids, stopped in here after a full day at Six Flags 45 minutes before close and were welcomed with kindness! tired and hungry and looking forward to warm soup after a chilly evening and boy did we get that along with top notch, kind, and detailed service from Jason! He gave us a great authentic family experience and it was the perfect end to our day!
To make a good story very short... what was turning into a train wreck was admirably handled quietly and professionally by a Manager and 3 members of the staff when a server has a meltdown... food was good and service turned out ok for the servers area... appreciate seeing people wanting to care for their customers
You would think that after doing curbside pick up for so long because of Covid-19 they would be flawless in their delivery....but it was a huge disappointment. It took them over 30 minutes to bring our food out to us. All of our food was cold when we got home, we do not live far from this location, so we had to reheat everything. Our salads were full of onions, cabbage and the unedible parts of a head of lettuce. The entrées were OK but just OK, and not even close to the quality we expect when paying $50 + for a dinner for two! We wont be back in quite some time if ever again.
Used the curbside pickup. Service was very poor and the food was late and cold. Arrived on time for my pickup at 5:00 p.m. but food was not ready until 5:40 p.m. spoke with a manager she gave me store credit and apologized. If it was not for her service, apology, and gift card I would probably would not go back to Olive Garden.
Half empty restaurant even with COVID REGULATIONS. So many empty tables. We were told 20 min wait time. Waited about 45-50 min. I was with my elder parents and they would not even let them to sit inside and wait had to stand outside. Beyond rude. No respect even for elders. Once inside. Service was great our 2 servers were awesome. And food was not bad.
Great Service, our waiter, Arthur, was outstanding, respectful, very kind and went above and beyond, really nice to be treated like that. The manager, Quincy, was also outstanding and very courteous. We mentioned that we were dining in to celebrate that our daughter got straight As at school and he even gave us a desert on the house for herA nice dining experience in days were everybody is over stressed and worried about COVID and political uncertainBig thanks to them.
Just tried the curbside pickup since I have kids. Usually workers hate curbside and I was expecting the worst. Man, the curbside team was super friendly! I couldnt find the extra sauce requests so called them to bring it out, which they happily did. The sauce was in the bag all along! Wish I have more tip, gonna make it up next time!
The host stand was great with a smile on their face. My server was Pedro, he is amazing as always, kind, proficient, quick on his feet, always coming to check on us and always refilling are glasses without me having to ask. Its very rare these days to run into excellent customer service. I need him on my team, he is definitely a keeper! I suggest you requests Pedro, you wont be disappointed. I know I will the next time I come back. Food was also great, everything was excellent. Thank you Pedro and thank you Olive Garden!
Family 6 they have good salad and bread sticks is about all I can say my family got there dinner and ate over half of theres while I still eating salad and I asked my wife wonder if there ever going to bring mine I asked the sever if mine was ever coming and he said let me go check 10 mins later he said it will be right out by the time mine showed up everyone had done got finished eating I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone
This location is a hit or a miss. I have gone there three different times and every time got a different level of service. One time was great and the next was terrible. The last time we went our server was extremely rude and then criticized our choices and then got my husbands order wrong but he only came by the table three times. Once after we were sitting there for about fifteen mintues, to bring out the food, and finally to see if we knew how to pay on the machine and thats all! At the end he finally tried to talk to us but at that point we were already done and ready to leave. But the time before that our server was amazing so I do not know what was wrong that day!
I literally love OG, however on this day MAYBE NOT. From the onset of service it was horrible and never let up Our first day back into the city fellowship turned crazy. Again drinks with NO ice with an excuse of why, which made absolutely no sense when Im watching people getting drinks with ice in them. Then the appetizers arrive to the table on dirty plates. Salad comes to the table and he reaches to get a cheese grater that was literally sitting on this counter with dirty dishes and the dust was ridiculous. Refused that service. From the entrees being delivered and you can see one dish was created wrong and one dish was burnt/overcooked. The waiter states with both dishes and had issues and left them on the table. Mercy and Kindness, was my personal response, and asking for a manager to administer feedback was a must. Still willing to pay for the meal and giving a generous tip. Management comes all of the above was explained to her she was precious from the moment of contact with her. Stating that we were still going to pay, and the waiter was asked to the table for gratituty was given. He stated how horrible his service was, she removed the POS system from the table and discounted the meal. Again, stating we were willing to pay for our own meal without discounts. Ending of the story, when she brought the POS back for us to pay the discounted amount, her system would NOT allow us to pay. When God allows your character to shine, and you allow him to be at the forefront of everything in you life, and people are healed, there character is allowed to remain in tacked God will intervene and bless you beyond your measure. WAIT ON GOD LITERALLY!!!
The staff was extremely nice. They were pretty busy but handled it well. The cooking staff not so great. We ordered 2 appetizers yet 1 came with our meal and the other arrived right after. The lasagna looked like a plate of spaghetti and the last appetizer looked old and hard. Talked with Jenn and let her know my waitress was very nice but I was super disappointed. She immediately explained what happened and took the appetizer off, changed out my dish, and offered us dessert on them! The way she jumped on taking care of us and making sure that we did not leave hungry or upset was amazing. I will definitely be returning.
This place is such a disgrace. If I could give a zero star rating, I would. First of all, the menu is so limited. There are not enough options for me. Literally, every time I come here with my family, I have to get the same thing, Lasagna Classico, because there is not anything else that looks appetizing. Secondly, The service is very slow. One time a ordered, a Frozen Caramel Cappuccino, but the restaurant ran out of ice cream. So for a good hour, I was waiting for my Caramel Cappuccino. I even ate all of my food without my cappuccino. In the end, I got a strawberry smoothie, which was what I ordered the week before. Overall, I don’t think I’ll ever come to this Olive Garden again.
A very unfortunate experience. While out on Saturday we decided to stop and this Olive Garden location for a late lunch. This was a bad end to a rather good day out.One of our drinks had a hair floating in it when it was given to us. Then one of our meals had a piece of plastic in it...To top it off when we spoke to the management we got dismissed. Barely an apology, and no attempt to make the situation right.Mistakes happen, what matters is how you deal with it. I have had wonderful customer service experiences at other restaurants. This however was an complete failure.
Service was great, I was comped two virgin pina coladas, because alcohol is not allowed for pickups. I wish they wouldve got my order correct. I was missing two drinks for my kids that was paid for and we paid for tour of italy and got lasagna instead. I had to take away one star.
Went with curbside pick up today. Brought the food home and found that it was of poor quality. The fettuccine barely had alfredo sauce and it looked like the pasta had been under a heat lamp hit was cold, not to mention the portions appeared kiddie sized. The soup bowl was only half full. The spaghetti in the second dish barely had meat sauce and was once again kid size portions. The salad had yellowish and sad looking lettuce and was only a portion of the normal size that we normally order. They skimped on the salad fixings. One tomato two olives and barely anything else. I used to order from the marietta store and the quality is superior to this place. Lunch portions were for adults and the food looked fresh. Its like theyre cutting corners here. Wont be ordering from here again.
Bad customer service. All I ordered was an appetizer and some woman was at the to go counter, having a long drawn out conversation with someone ordering food for 12 people. Had my appetizer sitting right there behind her, getting cold, while I listen to her go back and forth brown nosing the person on the phone. Other employees walking back and forth past me. My food still sitting right there. Then the woman told one of the other employees finally, can you take care of her please. Same girl who took my order over the phone and walked past me multiple times. I was the ONLY person there to pick up my food and was nice enough not to make them have to come outside to my car in the rain, carside. Learn how to prioritize when it comes to which customers to take care of first. Instead of brown nosing on the phone with the owner, tell them to hold on for 1 minute so I can pay for my appetizer and leave instead of letting my food get cold and making me wait. Smh.
Olive Garden’s service for Mother’s Day was horrible. We placed a $170 order online several days prior to Sunday. We requested a pickup time for 2pm, we had our confirmation page. Payment was submitted on the day we placed the order. When we arrived at 2pm the food was not ready or prepared. The manager gave an excuses about not knowing about the order but asked if they can run the credit card on file from the order we placed. We didn’t even have the food yet. It took almost two hours to get our order and during this time the manager kept hiding in the back room. The manager is not fit to run this establishment. What was supposed be a joyous occasion for a few mothers at our little church turned out to be a disappointment. Several of the members left and didn’t get a chance to eat. Also the food quality was better in the past, they didn’t seem to care what they gave. Will not eat from them again. Red Lobster or Bahama Breeze you are up next!
The food was great, and Pedro and Sam were amazing (they deserve 5 stars)!! However, my only gripe is that I made a call-ahead/reservation on Monday for a birthday dinner for 20 people on Thursday. When I came on Thursday, the staff said that the person I talked to didnt write it down so Id have to wait around an hour since half the restaurant was closed. I wouldve been okay with this since it was an honest mistake, but another party of 15 had priority over us since they walked in earlier (even though I made a reservation days before). Again, the staff was sweet, but I do think they couldve handled the situation better.
Overall a nice experience. Its been a while since I went to Olive Garden, but I do remember dinner portions had a lot more quantity then now. Food had good flavor. The photo is of Shrimp Scampi that my wife order. I may go back cause the kids enjoy the food more so then I.
My family and I frequent this location and this time we didnt have our usual grand time. The breadsticks took forever to come to our table, and having 2 small children felt like an eternity. Also the salad wasnt so fresh like usually. Not sure if it was an off day, but my husband and I both work 10 hour jobs and were really looking for not only quality family time, but a delicious hot meal to conjoin.
Great service and vibes from everyone in the building, good food with great value. Our server was one of the best weve ever had. Went home with a bag full of leftovers. We were there celebrating my husbands birthday. They let us choose any desert on the menu and even came out to sing to us. We really enjoyed our time there and cant wait to go back!!!
I have had the worst experience at this place and it was my 1st time eating here. My family and I spent over seventy dollars to have our food cold, stale and not fresh. Our Alfredo was cold as well as our soups and mozzarellas. The only thing we received was a very long wait and impatient workers but I understand due to the circumstances of the state however it’s no excuse for not providing good customer service. We get to Gainesville ga and made the call to be on another very long hold not once but twice. I wish I could give the food to someone or get our money back for this cold food and bad experience. Anyone with an attitude should never be on the front line and should be behind the scenes. For a 1st time customer, I’m sorry but I have to provide a 1 start and if I could give a negative 1 start I would
Seated in back and forgotten about. Salad was delicious! And Margherita Chicken was good BUT pasta w Alfredo was awful. I dont think they drained the pasta too well bc it was all separated from the cheese sauce when they brought it to the table. Our waitress was friendly but never anywhere to be found. Overall, not an experience to make ya wanna return.
UPDATE: I spoke with customer relations and they were a help when it came to the service we initially reviewed and I’m mostly satisfied with the outcome. I appreciate the response.Im currently sitting at Olive Garden and got here at 9pm. At 9:08 we were seated and now at 9:21 PM we are still sitting at the table with not even a drink order. Id say service is pretty bad tonight. When I bring my family to a restaurant I dont expect to be treated as second Class citizens. After sitting for 28 minutes with no service we notified staff and left. Also my daughter was able to get into some chemical spray that they had located literally right in the window of the table we were sat at. I would have notified someone but we were never served or greeted. Customer Service could use some help her and Ill take care of the chemical issue. I also posted a pic.
I had a horrible experience. Our party ordered and when the food was coming out I was told that they were out of stuffed shells by the manager who did not make it better. I was trying to figure out what to order. I then asked the server to let the manager know that I wanted to order something else but the manager never came back to the table. The server definitely made it better.
This visit was very good. the dishes were hot and full of flavor. our server knew the menu to hear detail, she provided everything we needed. she was the icing on the cake.we go to this Olive garden once a month, the service continues to improve and the food is always good
Honest&true: went on a Thursday evening had the chicken Alfredo. The food was cooked well. The chicken was tender and juicy. My friend had the shrimp scampi-the taste was just right. Our waiter-Edwin-was excellent. He made sure we had what we needed when we asked. Very professional. Just based on his service alone I would return to this location with the hopes that other waiters are just as welcoming and polished in the way Edwin serviced us. Im giving this location 5 stars only because of the service from our waiter Edwin. If it was food alone I would have given 4 stars. Now I know factors such as what kind of day they are having or how busy it is can effect service but again the day we visited Edwin was on point and made us feel VIP.
Olive Garden is a quintessential Italian-American eatery. I am delighted to say the atmosphere was very nice even bordering on date night level. However; the food failed to meet this expectation despite having the prices to match. The chicken marsala I ordered was on the dry side and overly salty which ended up being a good thing when matched with the bland cream based alfredo that came as its standard side. TLDR: Good atmosphere, mediocre food, high prices.
Service could be better, especially when entering the facility and three people are standing there and no one acknowledges you until you walk to the bar where the bartenders and To-Go staff attendants are located. The food is always fresh, hot and accurate to how you ordered it and arrives to your table very quickly. The smell is unbearable, however. It must be mold or this restaurant is in dire need of getting its carpet replaced. I smell this odor everytime I frequent this location.
The waiter and waitresses were wonderful. They got what we needed when we needed it, honestly. I say this because both me and 1 friend out of our party of 4 adults and 2 children got something with a 5 cheese marina sauce and neither of us could stand the taste of it so we asked for meat sauce just about like everyone else in our party already got. They brought us new food in a reasonable amount of time and did a great job. They even asked if we wanted salad or bread sticks or anything else to pack and take home with us when we were all done. It was one of the most wonderful experiences I have had before now with a restaurant, just to let everyone else know in advance, honestly!
The worst experience I’ve ever had in a restaurant. That says a lot considering i work in a restaurant. My family placed an order to go online, and our pick up time was at 3 o’clock. Upon arrival, there were so many people waiting to be attended. It seemed as though there was only one person attending the to go orders because several other servers would either walk by and ignore the people waiting or stand behind the bar and watch the chaos. When somebody finally did attend me i was told the food still wasn’t ready and that it would maybe be another 30 minutes. At this point its already way past my pickup time, and rather than being apologetic about the situation the girl just asked me if i wanted to cancel the order all together with an annoyed attitude. I work in a restaurant as well so i get it, they’re busy however they should have better prepared and the girl that was attending me shouldn’t have had the attitude she did. There should have been more people working the to go’s especially since today is a holiday. Overall a terrible experience and i would not recommend ordering to go from this location.
Our reservation for a group of 10 was ready for us when we arrived. We had a nice waitress take care of us and maintained a smile through some folks that had her go the back and check several times on ingredients in meals before ordering. All the food was good and served in a reasonable amount of time.
Food was very good! However, it appears that this location may be having some staffing issues. We were seated in a reasonable amount of time. But, it then took about 20 minutes for any server to come to our table. Prior to anyone coming, we actually witnessed a conversation between the host and two servers about how no one should have been seated in our section. So, two already maxed out servers had to tag-team our area. I hope the management can get this issue figured out soon, because this is a great restaurant overall!
We werent pleased at first with the To-Go process (had trouble adding a bottle of wine to our previously placed order and had to wait 10 minutes past the pickup time). However, the issue was finally resolved, and we were impressed with the lengths Olive Garden has gone to, to streamline their To-Go order packaging and offers. We will likely revisit soon!
My order was ready when I arrived for my Carside pickup. The woman that brought out my food was very nice. I had everything I ordered and all of the sides I requested. Im thinking this is great!...Spent $67 for 3 entrees. The Steak Alfredo - smallest piece of meat I ever seen in my life (to be expected) and there was the tiniest serving of alfredo pasta. It was smaller than a toddlers portion! This was not going to fill up my teenager...I got the Seafood Alfredo. Very generous portion of pasta so I gave like half of mine to my daughter. It tasted like watery cardboard and the shrimp and scallops were barely visible. There was no type of seasoning on this food at all! It was so bland it tasted worse than hospital food. Tasted like wet soggy communion wafers. My husband ordered Cheese Ravioli and he has yet to eat it. The meat sauce smells a bit off. Or maybe its the raviolis themselves.I wish I would have made my own dinner tonight like I planned. But its been a hard and long week busting my butt at work and at home, I just wanted a break and a delicious meal. Im upset that I wasted this amount of $. The salad was good, thank God. Oh and the breadsticks tasted freezer burnt. $67 for 3 salads! Most expensive salad I ever had in my life. Sad!
Got seated quickly, never acknowledged by servers. Left after 10+ minutes. Not busy and 4 servers walked past several times. Went to Red LobsterGreat service.Updated 10/22/2019 Contacted by Olive Garden Customer Relations about lack of service. The response seemed sincere and they provided an unsolicited Gift Card with an invitation to speak directly to the Manager. This is a better than expected outcome from Olive Garden. I have always enjoyed the food and usually excellent service so I will chalk this up to a one time bad experience. Upgraded my original one star to four because of the quick and sincere response. I will repost after revisiting the location.
Delicious food, wonderful service and overall I could not ask for a better dining experience. Chelsea was our server and she is excellent. My Mom and I ask for her personally for her friendly, easy going personality and she has a beautiful smile!I cant say enough good things about this place.
This is the worst Olive Garden I have ever been to! Our server Haley was wonderful and tried very hard, but the rest of the service was terrible. Drinks took 15 minutes to get after we ordered them, then we got our Alfredo dipping sauce before we even got bread sticks, then 10 minutes later my husband and sons food came out before our soups, salads, and bread sticks, finally got them about 10 minutes after that, then my daughter got her food. My food did not come till 25 minutes after everyone got theirs. I will not be returning to this location!
I dined at this spot when I needed some soup for my nasty cold I had. While I was there during the time I was getting better, I had an awesome time chatting it up with Eric, who deserves a lot of praise for his attendance to my needs and refilling my beverage glass without me asking for it. Thats the service I tend to look for, and he was pleasant to be around. The location was super nice and very quiet atmosphere. You desire a great time and solid service, ask for Eric at this location. Watch the magic and let him know that #ShoNuff sent you.
Service was horrible, we literally followed the hostess around in a circle while she figured out were we were going. We waited 20 minutes to even get drinks, had a different server being them to us except not all of them, we ended up with 4 different servers. I watched the people next to us get seated and a waitress was there within 2 minutes to get them drinks and salad. Food wasnt good either. Bread sticks were cold and hard, my carbonara was sitting it a pool of butter because the sauce broke.Update - the customer service department for Olive Garden contacted me and apologized for the service and food, they also provided me with a $50 gift certificate, it doesnt make up for the bad experience however it is not common for a company to try to right their wrong these days

2022-01-09Awesome food, we love Olive Garden always! Today we visited this location in Duluth and we had a great time dining here, thanks to our server Jason, he was very kind and attentive, and the whole staff was very nice, good family atmosphere.

2022-01-23We have had the worst experience with Olive Garden today from Snellville and drove all the way to Duluth afterwards because my pregnant daughter had a taste for it. We waited for a waitress/ waiter for over 20 minutes a family of 6+ came in after us and asked for a manager to complain and somehow got faster service. Still after that I stopped a young man. ( Myles ) and asked him who our waiter was and that we had been waiting. He politely went to go see and said that he’d take care of it either way. He saved the day. But I will never go to another Olive Garden. I’ll stick to Maggianos. Okay, so I posted 2 stars and spoke to the manager kevy who was just as awesome as Myles! I will Only come back if Both of them are at this location and I’ll give 4 stars Instead if 2. And the margarita was soo good and the shot of tequila that was given to me.

2021-12-18For my first time at Olive Garden the chicken alfredo was alright, the soup was as well but the shrimp we ordered was probably the best. I give it 3 stars because utensils were dirty and or waiter wasn’t really attentive, but it was busy. Wait time was said to be 20 mins but we got our table in about 7 mins.

2022-05-29Always a great restaurant, with good food and affordable prices. The staff is very friendly. We wanted to split on of the main dishes and the waitress went ahead and bought us two nice plates with our food already separate and ready. They are always keeping an eye on you, offering more cheese or drinks or anything. I cant wait to come back again.

2022-01-17We havent been here in forever; we just wanted to get a quick bite for lunch. Service was good, and staff kept masks 😷 on. Cleaned every table after use. Lunch deals were great 👍🏼. Filling but not too much. Room for dessert definitely 😋. I took 1 star off because the outside heading to the front door smelled of sewage.

2022-06-14Delicious food as always. The person who attended us was not the best, although with a smile and very friendly the place was not full, it took a long time to take us to the water.

2022-01-31How can you make it like this? I bought additional bread, but I didnt even give you the original bread. Zero service preference. I dont want to go again. I dont even recommend it.

2022-05-05One of the best Locations in all of Atlanta, Ive been to more than a few. Food was hot, fresh and tasted great. Service was also great. Breading on chicken parm was crunchy. Also breading on the fried mini lasagna appetizers (I know its not called that) were hot and crunchy as well. Ive had these items and other fried items at other locations and theyre almost always sort of soggy. I highly recommend this location.

2022-05-15My husband and I went around 3:15 today. There was no more than 20 car if that.We walk in and 3 bags of bathroom garage are in plain view by the reservation section. There 6 waiting and another 4 outside.Asked for a table for 2 only to be told there was a 40 minute wait. How can it be a 50 minute wait when the restaurant had less than 30 people in there. There eating area was practically empty.Furthermore, if you have 3 standing around the reservation section couldn’t one of those girl take the bathroom trash to the garbage can.I hate to say it the truth but this location has gone downhill. They have gotten as bad cleanliness wise as the Burger King across from them.
