Olive Garden Italian Restaurant in other cities:
Not as good as, every other Olive Garden I have been too. The waitress, would stay gone 15 mins at a time, never brought our silverware, and was more concerned with, talking to a guy waiter then helping the customers. Service needs improvement before, me and my family go back.
Always had great service! Great food. The staff and manager has always been delightful to our family. My service has always been fast and my food jas always been good. One day I just had a cup of wine and a conversation with the bartender, it was great ! I would definitely be back soon and take pictures for an update.💯🎯
I will never be eating here again. My wife and I went to dinner with both of our mothers (4 of us) and NONE of us were pleased eith the experience. Our server was a shorter girl who was very clueless and ditzy. We had asked MULTIPLE times for refills on drinks and to please get us some more breadsticks and neither were done the entire hour we were there. We didnt get refills until we were walking out the door to leave. We all ordered chicken gnocchi and the soup was so watered down and nasty that nobody wanted it. I wouldnt have even fed it to my dog it was that bad. My wife ordered the chicken Parmesan and the chicken was so hard it was unedible. A mother in law ordered the chicken cabanera And asked for there to be no red peppers in it because she is allergic, and it was brought toward table With the peppers in it.. We asked for it to be remade since she cant eat it and it took almost 30 minutes to get something new and there was barely any sauce on it. I ordered Lasagna and the noodles were way overcooked and my mother ordered steak steak and it was way too chewy for anyone to eat. We ended up paying and leaving 90% of our food on the table because it was that bad. We also ordered the little powder donut things and the Cheese filled cheesecake things, and we never received either one of those but we paid for them.
Worst food and service Ive ever received from an olive garden think everyone working in the kitchen and servers on 2/27/22 around 9 pm should be replaced the salad had tomato ends in it had the stalks of the lettuce in it the Alfredo was chunky and gritty the bread sticks where just bread they never put the butter and seasoning on it the server never refilled our drinks but figured out why as we walked out half the restaurant employees where in the lobby talking and laughing like they where having a party and not at work
We just had dinner at Olive Garden in Waycross and the food was terrific. The service was great. And the manager, Katy Horne is terrific. She came by each table and and spoke to the guest. She seemed truly concerned about making us feel appreciated. Overall it was a great experience and we plan on visiting again.
Food subpar just not good. Chicken gnoche Soup lukewarm. Server brought wrong soup to one of us. Breadsticks were undercooked cold inside. Server was a flake forgot our drink order had to come back twice to clarify 2 sweet teas ..(I would drug test her).seriously the chicken parmesan was burned cooked til tough the breading fell off was super hard and meat tough. I ate the center of the meat took over half home gave to my dog.Just was a subpar meal. Very small portion of spaghetti with chicken parmesan it was tiny just not good flavor either. A drizzle of sauce on spaghetti and chicken... and minute amount of sauce and cheese on the chicken patties it was really a disappointing meal AND IM NOT PICKY.Server didnt ask us if we wanted dessert either...dropped check receipt on table walked off.I figured ok Ill get a mint when I leave then. They had basket full when we were seated of Andes mints my little girl wanted one so I noticed them. When we left the basket was gone completely.I went for veterans day and they were not crowded at 2 pm they seated us in the bar area I guess because we had a toddler with us...just poor service poor quality food and ditzy wait staff...Seriously we were 2 adults and a well behaved 3 yr old. Also asked for to go box for kids meal as she ate only grapes and one for the rest of my food for my dogs and server brings tiny to go box said didnt have anything bigger had to go bring another. It was a treat for me to go there for veterans day. I rarely go anywhere these days and the experience was not pleasant.
Will not come back to this location!!! Mj was supposed to be our waiter she took our drinks and then asked another waiter to take our table cause she was tired the other waiteress was nice but kept getting confused cause mj kept coming back to our table to take our order after the other one already had mj also kept bringing us drinks that were not ours we sat and waited for our food for an hr and 20 min emilee ended up being the 3 waitress that we had and she was the one that finally got our food order taken care of the right way
Food was delicious. Service was a little rough. You could tell from the moment the waitress argued with the hostess about seating us it was gonna be fun. Felt super rushed so much so our first refills were put in togo cups... So if you are in a hurry and need good pasta not a bad choice.
Ordered a day ahead for a Mothers Day curbside pick up. Scheduled it for 11:15. We did not receive our food until part 12:45. We saw people walk in, eat, and leave before we received our $110 order that they had had 24 hours notice on. Their apology included a $10 gift card and their appreciation for our patience and allowing our experience to be a training opportunities. When we were finally able to eat, the pasta and sauce was not tasty, and the chicken parmigiana was bunt. The only good foods were the soup and bread sticks (which are shipped to them already prepared). Avoid at all costs!!!
After having a drink spilled on me on my last visit I took my family to dinner. We spent 30 minutes waiting while watching 5 groups leave, we were the only ones waiting.Silverware was delivered after is requesting another waitress. Our used plates were not removed even after getting our entrees, a manager was flagged down to get this done.We didnt get bread sticks until half way thru the entree.Drinks were not refilled until the manager was stopped. My wifes and my soups were not hot or filled. This was 7 pm on a Sunday and not busy.As an owner of a small service business, I understand the challenges of todays environment but this is unacceptable performance from the management to the employees.I will find it difficult to spend my money at your restaurants in the future.
I was pleasantly surprised. I moved back to Waycross from a larger city about a year ago. In that city, Olive Garden restaurants are a dime a dozen. So I expected the same cookie cutter service and food. But I my food was served hot and fresh, which made all the difference. My server was great too.
We went to Olive Garden and was very disappointed. Our order wasn’t right and the food just didn’t taste like Olive Garden. The spaghetti sauce was spicy hot and I’ve never experienced that before. Our order wasn’t right the people next to us their order wasn’t right. It was the same waitress and I’m not sure if she had personal problems or if she was just not with it but you know that’s not our problem, the customers problem, but we are the one suffering. There wasn’t many people in the restaurant and if everyone got orders like we got then people won’t be coming back to that Olive Garden. I know I won’t be coming back because I was very disappointed with the service and the food.
After waiting for more than an hour for our food. Was not that good and you pay $20.00 for s tour of Italy and the lasagna was the size of a chicken nugget and the rest in plate same. You get more for your buck in another place. Bread was old and not tasty. They never brought more salad for us even we request. We will not go there again
Wow, I cannot express how I feel. My husband and I always come in because we enjoy the great food, however the other day we came in and our waitress was terribly rude and had such a negative attitude. I did not want to write this review but I feel as if staff should be talked with on how they should treat and interact with customers. This particular waitress, I believe her name was Jena.Very very displeased and I can only hope she has a better attitude next time we are in. Thanks!
Usually great service, but I guess everyone has an off day. Regardless, you should never act like your customers are a bother. Order was wrong, empty glasses for the whole meal and everything that was brought to the table was dropped of with stuff on the way to another table. Sausage was over cooked, otherwise food was great.
Food was good - however we were quite surprised (and not in a good way) by how whittled down the menu currently is... The service... Well... Not good. Our waitress constantly forgot things we asked for and it took her 2-4 trips to/past the table before she would remember them. It was not busy so thats not the reason/excuse. My cup was empty for so long (even tho she kept mentioning bringing more the 3 or 4 times she passed the table) that I resorted to drinking my daughters soda even tho I do not drink soda. We asked for Alfredo dipping sauce for the breadsticks when we told her what we wanted to drink. She was at the table to bring us drinks & breadsticks - no sauce; she came back to our food order - no sauce; she passed the table twice - no sauce; it finally came with our food by which time the breadsticks were cold... This is the way it was for everything we asked for. Aside from that, she had long hair down past her waist that would swing around when she turned - which is fine - mine is down past my butt as well. BUT at least TWICE that I noticed her hair SWEPT ACROSS OUR TABLE as she swung around!!! Thankfully it didnt drag across any of our plates of food...
This was one of me and my family’s favorite spots. Food is good but the service with emphasis on the hostesses and management has seriously declined in the last couple years. Despite my limited local choices, today was the last time I spend time and money at this establishment.
I cant say this for all locations, but the Waycross location was great! The food is the same at every location Ive ever been to, its good, no complaints. The service was incredible! Our server was super nice. I noticed what seemed to be a manager keeping a sharp eye on her. I ask her about the lurking lady. She explained that the manger was out for some reason and this lady was just filling in from another location. It seemed to make our server very nervous and overly apologetic. She really had no reason to be, she was great and we had a great experience because of it!!
The service changes after a certain hour in the evening. Yes, we had a late dinner and can expect a little longer wait, however, from the time we sat until after I had finished my course, did I get but one refill. The cup the refill was brought in couldve been cleaner. Im not too picky about things, but service and cleanliness are high on the priority list for me as it should be for most.Food was good, even with the expected extended wait time, our server brought dishes in a perfectly timed manner to make sure there was no dead space.
In town for a family members funeral. Sad occasion and just really needed to get away and eat as a family. Party of 8. Short notice. Close to closing. Was not a problem. Great food. Great staff. Great service. Great leadership. Sarah was our assistant. Felton is the manager. They both were the absolute best ever! Friendly, courteous, patient and professional. They anticipated our needs and made us feel welcome. We absolutely recommend this place.
The food was fine, but the service was a mess. One of the entrees came out a full five minutes before the other two. When they finally came, one of them was wrong. They fixed it quickly, but the margarita my friend ordered never showed up. It was a Saturday night at 8pm, so I get that they were busy, but they need to do better than that.
Awesome place to eat! Great food, good prices, best manager in the system: We love Katie!! I love any Italian food; the more garlic, the better; but Id eat at Olive Garden if all they had was their amazing soups. I love them all. And their wonderful selection of desserts.
Love, love, love their salad! Seated in the lounge. Its quiet and private there. Started out with one waitress and I guess there was a shift change, because then I ended up with a waiter whose name was Seth. He has been my waiter previously, and he really does a wonderful job. He is very prompt, attentive, and personable. He tries to feed me way too much! I have seen many negative comments, but my food and service has always been impeccable.
Salmon served half cook twice after specifying order to be well done! After assuring server it was ok and wasnt her fault...Management passive removed the dish and finally got it right on the 3rd try. Was greeted kindly at the door upon entry and out server was great! Thank you Maysha
The wife and I went to Olive Garden for a normally good meal the wait time to get in because of the virus was about 7 minutes which was fine the hostess was nice seated us we waited 15 minutes had not even received a drink the waiter never showed up to serve a drink or to take our order we got up and walked out . another server said he would take care of us we got tired of waiting in the past we have always had good service and good food will I stop at Olive Garden again yes probably not at that location for quite a while.
Im not a big chain person, but we moved to a small town so we make acceptions. The service is pretty good here. Weve sat at the bar once, and my pet peeve is a dirty bar, tables, or salt/pepper/condiments. Our bartender gave good service, wasnt very personable or talkative (but we dont tip on personality), but didnt wipe the bar down when we sat down... It was dirty from the last patrons. We usually get salad and soup and love the bread sticks. Unfortunately, we wont be eating here much anymore because I must be on a gluten free and dairy free diet. So many restaurants just dont offer any options. I write reviews to help businesses know what their issues are... Not put them down. If the business doesnt fix it then the review is to warn future guests.
Great town, Great people, but the waitresses & management went above and beyond at this restaurant, I was with some regulars that the waitresses didnt even have to ask what they wanted to drink or eat , and kept our drinks full! Friendly, welcoming smiles , great fast service , clean and food was well presented!
Nicole was an Absolutely PHENOMENAL Server!!! Made Sure Meal & Service was PERFECT!!! One of the BEST Ive EVER HAD!! Im not a huge fan of Olive Garden, but because of Nicole, this location will be my go-to spot & Ill be Sure to Ask for Her!! Also, the other staff was very friendly & greets you with beautiful smiles from the door. If youre not only hungry, but want Excellent Service, Stop HERE and Try it Out, youll Love It!!! Happy Holidays
I love going to Olive Garden but this visit the place was cold and I could barely enjoy my food because I was so cold. I didnt ask to be moved to another table because it seemed to be cold throughout the whole place. Next time Ill carry my jacket in. But the food was good and I hurry up in 8 when I really wanted to stay and enjoy it.
Usually have good experiences here however the other night was the most horrible experience I have ever had at any restuarant ever. We had to wait forever for the waitress to get our drink orders then had to wait 10 mins or longer to get them. Another 5 to ten mins after that before she even came to get our food order. So total 20 mins at the table and havent even ordered! So of course when she asked if we were ready to order I replied yeah 20 mins ago. So needless to say instead of her trying to improve on being slow and inattentive she just wanted to remain rude. Once the food was brought to the table it was not all together and she kept forgetting stuff. We had to ask repeatedly for the same thing to be brought. And no, we did not have a complicated order. Pretty simple but she couldnt even do that! Probably wont return there because I work too hard to spend it at places where people cannot do their job and want to treat us rudely.
I really enjoyed the food here but twice now I have been charged 6.00 extra dollars on my debit card after I signed my receipt. This time I put 0.00 on the tip because I left $5.00 bill on the table and I even put my total. How can they do that? So I called my bank and without my receipt I cant do anything about it. You can bet that even though I write it down in my check book I will be keeping my receipt from now on.
I went with a church group for a Christmas party. Although the staff was friendly our food took a long time to get to us and part of that reason was because they were slow getting our orders. I ordered the three cheese marinara with with spaghetti and shrimp. For me it wasnt good I did not enjoy it. I told this to one of the servers and of course she said we can get you something else but at that point I was not feeling well after eating some of it and smelling it. Ill never get that dish again. It was the first time I was not pleased with my food at Olive Garden.
Never had any problems here with food or staff, all around great place. Though when the waiter started putting cheese in our salad I didnt know I was suppose to tell him to stop. He was just grinding away looking at me an me just zoned out watching him grind away. Till my wife told me I was suppose to say when. We ended up having a little salad with our cheese that night.
Service was horrible, waited over hour and half for cold food. The manager was not very helpful either. There were 4 in our party and she only gave a $21 discount and gave each of us a $5 coupon which wont be used. My brother and sister in law drove 3 hours to take our mom out to eat for Christmas which makes it worse.
Weve visited Olive Garden at multiple locations through the years including the Waycross location several times in the past, but this last visit was disappointing. It was our anniversary so that makes it even more disappointing.None of the issues were huge, but they added up. It started at the very beginning when the hostess sat us without giving us menus. Later I was served soup, but not given a spoon. Then after telling the waitress when she brought the soup she forgot. The side dish I had wasnt prepared as the menu had described (this was later fixed, but how much broccoli can one eat?) and they were slow on refilling my diet Coke. The appetizers were tasty and my wife really enjoyed her entree but mine was fair at best.I really dislike giving a negative review when Ive had good service and food at this location in the past, but this wasnt the dining experience that I had wished to share with my wife. Hopefully these things can get fixed (they should be easy to correct) and no one else will be disappointed after driving 60 miles to eat with their spouse.
Good was as expected. It was fast as well. We had to take bread sticks to go while every table around us got some with their meal. The server wasVery slow as well and really only checked on us twice through out the meal. Most likely it was just our server but if we are in way cross again we will choose another place.
Food was okay. Got full on soup and bread before food came. Had party of 6, waitress brought us our drinks and she accidentally spilled two drinks on the table and drink was also spilled on me and all in the floor. It was a very busy night there, considering it was the day after Christmas.
Olive Garden is at the very least consistent. West coast to east coast the same. Somebody in quality control is obviously paying attention and doing their job well. I love the breadsticks when fresh and hot! If they had a little better lunch menu (costwise) I would visit more.
Went for lunch. Had the chicken picatta that was delicious. My ticket was $13 plus. The table checkout took $6.11 from one gift card & $25 from another gift card & still said I owed the original amount. I was in a hurry & gave a $20 bill to the server to cover it. Very expensive lunch!!!
After we finally got our salad, the lettuce was wilted along with the onions. It didnt have any croutons or dressing. It had one olive and 3 small slivers of tomato. Terrible! Service was bad and the food was worse! We used to love Olive Garden, but the last couple of years have been getting worse with each visit. We will not be repeating the experience again.
Just had to he worst experience at your waycross GA location! Forcing children and the elder to sit in their cars or outside in the cold to wait over a “ pandemic” that is 99.9% curable, instead of sitting area is horrible! Last I saw your staff wore masks so making people sit in the cold or walk and wait in the car is absurd. Lost my business and several others over the rudeness of your staff. I am a front line worker as a Respiratory Therapist. This is not a “Pandemic” 🤦🏼♀️
Best waitress in my life. Julianne D. (Juju) waited in line for awhile and she came out and seated us immediately. She told us tables had been ready but nobody had called us. Great service the entire night. She did an excellent job. I tipped her 2x what our bill was. She deserved more. Hard working single mom with 3 boys. Great job Juju.
I went during the early evening before the supper rush, so maybe that has to do with it, but the environment was very quiet and reserved. My group had one of the best waitresses that I have had up there. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because some of the menu information was incorrect, so that is not necessarily a Waycross OG problem.
Party of 5 seated at a small table and had to beg waitress to clear our table to make room for our main course. Our chicken parmigiana was over cooked and not enough sauce with it. Our waitress forgot to refill our drinks and bring out breadsticks. Overall not a good experience this time.
I always enjoy Olive Garden at least the one in Waycross for the most part. I generally sit in the bar and get served by the same bartender who is very helpful and friendly. Their house wine is very good and affordable. there make your own pasta dish is very reasonable and easy to make choices of what you would like to eat. I do enjoy their salmon, salads, chicken Alfredo, broccoli. I do not care for their bar drinks because they are are stuck to a certain amount of alcohol so when you get something like a Long Island iced tea it really doesnt have the liquor content supposed to and usually is filled with a lot of sweeteners and Coke.
Food was okay, service can be improved. When we went there was a whole section open and many people were waiting and they did not let them sit and most people were forced to stand outside in the cold and they said it was closed for meetings. Finally we got seated and a huge group of people that were very loud.
Waitress hardly there several people in our party ordered drink and glasses of water. Took acts of Congress to get her to bring waters, 3 ordered coffee (1 special mocha) the other two regular coffee with extra creamer boy she must have hordes that stuff for herself she didnt want to bring it and she showed it. She had the audacity to say something with a snooty attitude too the 3rd person with the $4.00 mocha cause they poured about 1/2 a cup from my carfe to finish the mochas unmelted bottom dregs from not being properly made. Asked for more salad at one point and finally gave up waiting for it, if not would probably still be there waiting for her return with it. Tried to pay at table this took 15 min extra the machine kept saying ticket not ready each time we got to the end to finalize the bill but waitress had already said it was ready to pay at anytime wouldnt finalize until the waitress magically did something then told us to try one more time. Usually this olive garden is pretty good but waitress ruined this visit.
I dont know how you cook your pasta, but when you dish it up as a to go order, please make sure you dont add water from the cooking pot. We poured some of it off, but or Chicken, pasta Afreado sauce, was so watered down it tasted nasty. So a 40.00 dollar meal was thrown away.
If i could give a 0 starts i would worst place to fo for mothers day never again waited o er a hour and half for a table another hour for all the food we got drinks and soup and salad asked for a refill on sweet tea got un sweet then she brings me sugar packs still didnt get food before we left 3 hours was long enough with a 4 year old
Ms. Angela is one of the most amazing humble waitresses I have ever met. She is sooooo wonderful when we come in. She goes above and beyond to make our eating experience fabulous. Not to mention she lives my babygirl. That is truly amazing that you have someone like her on your staff. Plz let her read this!!!

2022-05-18Food was good, but my man carlos stole the show. Best waiter Ive ever had there. He was around enough to always get timely refills and whatever we needed, but not so much that it felt like he was smothering us. Definitely get that guy a raise, he puts in work and it genuinely felt like he cares about the customer.

2022-04-02Visited this Olive Garden yesterday and had the best customer service I have ever received. Our waitress was Chastity and she was very friendly and brought our food quickly. My friend and I were treated like kings. And the food was very tasty! Go see them, they are doing it right and tell em TJ sent you! 👏🏽

2022-06-05The food could have been much better. The salad had so much dressing on it the lettuce was wilted.I ordered a steak, had to send it back because it was very bloody, which she brought without a steak knife. It took quite a while to get it, and there was only one other table with customers. She came back one time to ask for fill ups, and I had to ask her for the bill since we had no idea how long it would be before she would leave the kitchen again. The one thing that I really hated was the waitress kept calling me Sweetie and Sweetheart. Im almost 50 years older than she, and I find it disrespectful. Im also not old enough to be put into a nursing home because I forgot my name. She could have addressed me as Mam, and I wouldnt have had the overwhelming desire to stab her hand with the fork.Who told these girls to call customers Sweetie? They do it at Chick Filet too, and Ive stopped going there.

2021-04-24Honestly, they are a few steps above Fazolis fast food Italian at many times the cost. The service, although very pleasant, was poor. Silverware, place for appetizers, the wrong type of tea, straws; these are things that should come standard without having to ask. And the margherita chicken, its supposed to have a basil pesto. I thought basil, and pesto, were both green. You cant see anything like that on my chicken, let alone taste it. All in all drops well over $100 there, you could have gotten a better experiencel for 50.

2022-07-06We stopped in here on the way to Savannah GA, I have eaten at Olive gardens over the years and this one stands out among the best one yet. From Chattanooga (Hamilton place Gunbarrell Rd, Hisxon Tn, Dawsonville Ga. Gainesville GA. and etc.) I could tell you what wrong with all of them. But lets focus on this one in Waycross GA. CLEAN RESTAURANT! and Bathrooms, Great Service by Tamishia! and Great food to boot. I can see how the Management can set the tone for a Restaurant and this Manager is Exceptional (Katy Horne) I feel she and her staff truly cares about what is served and your dining experience. Even on the way out a young man stopped me and told me he over heard us talking about how good it was and said he Use to work here and he know how the manager was, she cares about her customers and her Staff. Darden if you are listening you should take note on this Restaurant and have the managers from all those others come down to see what she is doing RIGHT!My visit was on 7/2/22 at 7:55 check #821387 Just so you know its a real review!
