Onelife Fitness - Crabapple Gym in other cities:
Awesome Gym!!!! The staff is always friendly and Nick and Corey are always there to greet me with a smile. The club is always clean and the personal trainers are very professional. Thank you for the expansion of the pool and basketball court. It looks great!!! I would recommend this club to anyone.
It has the feel of a luxury gym with a more affordable price. Most of the equipment is brand new. Plenty of weights and machines as well as open turf areas. It can get pretty crowded for an hour or too after work but pretty empty after that. Definitely one of my favorite places to workout.
The gym itself is great, staff is friendly, but the gym cancellation policy is horrible. I had moved and tried to cancel my policy via email but they could not do it in time and I had to call in to cancel. Thats when they informed since they had just taken the money from my account i would have to pay for another month even though i had not attended the gym in 6 months. Really disappointed that as a customer who brought all my friends and family members there they would not help me with the last month. Due to their customer service thats why i gave them 2 stars, the gym itself is great and always clean
Josh..some form of manager made excuses and actually blamed me, the customer, that his staff didnt place notes in properly about my desire to place my account on hold due to Covid. It isnt my fault that Covid has impacted their business. By not telling me correct information, I was charged additional fees in an attempt to follow the process and cancel my account. He then was flip and smart on the phone about the event. It only proves that my purchase if an elliptical and Peleton is better money spent that being part of One Life at Crabapple! Dont join...it isnt worth it
The gym was ok. Good trainers and somewhat sanitary conditions. When you try to cancel your membership you get caught in a scam involving a nefarious ABC financial (Im not kidding thats their name) and you will get the endless runaround while they contineto syphon money from your account. Thinking about joining?, dont. Thinking about quitiing? Do it now before ABC (already been conned) claims another victim.
This gym is the most amazing, friendly gym! Plus most importantly it has every piece of equipment you could ever want or need, a lap pool, spinning and any and every class you could ever want. I also you the personal trainers 2x a week. David has been incredible and has helped me to lose over 17 pounds already. I’m devoted to this gym! It’s my home away from home!!
I love this place! Everyone is so nice and the employees really care about the customers. Chase (Clayton) is a fantastic personal trainer. He really cares about how his clients are improving and goes above and beyond with his training. He’s super knowledgeable about fitness and health and knows just what to say so that you understand the movement.
This is a good gym as far as the facilities are concerned, but they took me for a bit of a ride when I tried to cancel. I went to the gym a long time ago with the intent of cancelling my membership. I remember talking to someone, and leaving under the impression that it was all taken care of. A few weeks ago I received a phone call from a gentleman stating that I need to update my account information so the gym could continue charging membership fees. I told him I had cancelled several months prior. He apologized for the misunderstanding and assured me he would have the problem taken care of. I just got off the phone with another representative today who said they have no documentation of my cancellation and that I need to pay some $120. Mind you the reason I cancelled in the first place was to save money. Im even more strapped for cash since now I dont have a job. If they lost their documentation the first two times I cancelled how do I know Im not just going to get a phone call in another month or two asking for more money? Atlanta Fitness is a good gym, but if I were looking for a gym in the area I would suggest looking elsewhere. There are plenty of other gyms around town that likely have competent staff who will not continue charging you after you cancel.
They will do or say anything to get you hooked onto those monthly payments. Remember gyms make their money off of the people who dont use their product but still pay for it. They charged me a club enhancement fee of 40 dollars ONE DAY before my membership ended because I was moving out of state. I have been a member of this club on and off for years and enjoyed my time there, but the people running this place are a bunch of con artists.
Very disappointed in this location I worked out several times and I would say 12 out of 15 people never wiped down there equipment despite signs everywhere saying to do so, also walking around in locker room no shirt and barefoot just nasty, hell its just sickening i can clearly see we will have an outbreak in there area of not all ready they just dont care. The club has done a great job putting cleaning stations out and signs but doesnt do much good if people just dont care!! Despite all of that your all in my prayers..
The facilities at this gym are great. But if I had some words of wisdom (and I do) I would say that they need longer hours at the weekend (currently shut at 6 which means you basically have to be there no later than 5:15 if you want a good work out), colder water fountains (I swear its like warn and never satisfying) more machines with the personal TV, and more class offerings (the classes are good but more time options is what Im after). Their cardio cinema is awesome though and I am eagerly awaiting their expansion which will include a pool!
I had my daughter registered to onelife fitness in February 2019 and at registration I specifically asked the manager whether we could cancel our membership any time we want. And he said we definitely can cancel any month we want. Due to our heavy schedule we could not take our daughter to fitness and asked them to stop our membership in March. They asked us to write them an email. We did but they continued to charge our Amex card. Then after a month I asked them again what to do. They said to send them not an email but a letter for cancelation. I did that too but nothing has changed. They continued charging my credit card. I asked Amex to inquire the case and Onelife told them that My daughter needs doctor report so that they can cancel the membership. Ten months passed already but they keep charging me. Please somebody help me to get rid of these people !!! These people our crooks and make sure that you don’t fall into same trap.
The gym itself is okay, fairly clean and standard equipment. They do charge entirely too much to bring a guest into the gym for a day or two.But staff and accounting are horrendous. I moved away and needed to cancel my membership, I spoke with the front desk and they very rudely handed me a business card for ABCfinancial and told me to handle it with them.I called ABC and was told I needed to fill out paperwork with the gym itself. Being given the run around, I am now frustrated and can no longer get anyone on the phone. To get it resolved, I needed to provide excessive amounts of proof that I had moved. the whole process was so slow and cumbersome, theyre now insisting I MUST pay another months dues for a gym I will not have access to. Rip off and horrible customer service.
While this gym has a lot of equipment and plenty of activities for adults to take advantage of, its billing practices are downright shady and remind me of car salesman tactics. If you cancel your membership, you incur all these fees that they do not disclose to you up front. Their billing company ABC Financial is no help as they are just enforcing contract agreements and do not offer any sort of customer service to remedy billing disputes. Ultimately if you cancel you have to pay for another months worth of gym time plus your fee goes up for going off auto pay. Then they dont even send you a final bill. They send text messages saying there is an issue with your account. One Life can do better than this. They just dont because they want your money...
Members and potential members BEWARE! The only thing that will be sufficient enough for the staff to allow you to cancel your membership is an alien abduction or death. Since when did simply paying a cancellation fee not suffice if you felt the gym was not a good fit for you. They rope you in, and make it nearly impossible to get out of their clutches. Could explain the reason their clubs are popping up every where...
Been here a month or so. Nice facility. Clean. Reasonably priced. Gym does get crowded very easily. Free weights area is tight. My biggest complaint are their weekend and holiday hours. 8AM opening on the weekend and holidays is way too late. Its a gym... Some people like work out early and get back to their families and weekend errands. 7AM...or even 6 AM... Get er done OneLife!
Its been two months since I became a member of Atlanta Fitness. I tried to cancel my membership since I have to move to other area, but I cannot cancel my membership because they delayed my cancellation process on purpose. So, I was charged additional month payment. I keep trying to cancel my membership, but I was rejected sixth times. They keep sending e-mail informing that my cancellation documnets were not sufficient, although I sent sufficient documents several times. I recommend you should not be a member of Atlanta Fitness.
Ive been a member for a year now, and I like it. I usually go to the one on Hammond, but Ill be staying near Crabapple for a couple of weeks so Ill going to that one for the most part until I leave this part of town.I just lift there, nothing else. Theres a space called Functional Fitness (no idea why) that now contains some powerlifting and some (a couple) strong man implements. Ive been begging the location at Hammond to get an SSB bar so I can squat when I aggravate a shoulder injury. They havent yet (still holding out hope), but the one in Crabapple has one. Im excited about trying it soon. The clientele tends to be split between high school kids and their parents, and retired folks. Of course, that seems to be the demographics of that area. Its not huge - although far from small - as far as gyms go, but they efficiently use their space. Theres quite a bit and variety of equipment there. Its youre in the market for a gym, give this place a shot.
SCAM/FRAUD!!!!!!!! So disappointed that after following the protocol to cancel membership yet they continued to charge the membership to my bank account every month. This is unacceptable!!!! Hidden fees everywhere and They are also refusing to reimburse me. Im not sure where is the disconnect. Very unhappy with my experience, not recommending to anyone!
Nice programs and facility. Except no pool. Also not recommended if you are here for less than a year. Getting out of contract because you moved is a huge hassle. I had to move after 6 months and it took the remaining 6 months to get out of the year long contract because the proof of new address with billings and other legal documents get lost in emails. Got ripped off even after their policy clearly stated that I can get out of the contract without penalty if I happen to move out of vicinity of their clubs.

2022-05-27Hits ... Clean gym. For those that are complaining about cleanliness, you havent been to other gyms. Plenty of good equipment for the gym size.Misses ... Not enough plates for anyone to use the benches. If one person is using leg press, there are zero remaining. Tons of teenagers, being teenagers. Pretty much taking up space hanging out. This is definitely a family fitness center. Accept that and its all good.

2022-03-30Its a clean and nice GYM. Wish the ♿ handicap stalls would have shower chair that you could sit on while you get dressed. Be aware that you have to walk thru the gym to get to the pool and hot tub. There is a second womens locker room closer to the pool area but it only has one handicap stall. But you dont have to walk thru the gym.The water is nice and hot in the hot tub. Lots of different workout equipment. Staff is friendly. There is a machine that helps get rid of excess water from your bathing suit. Only problem you have to bring in your own plastic bag.

2022-06-27Don’t waste your money. If you ever try to get out of your membership they will screw you even if you are moving to another state such as Alaska where one life does not exist….they make you write letters. Send in pay stubs, utility bills. Proof of new residence just to cancel a 20 dollar membership for a 14 year old.I finally got so fed up dealing with them I just paid the year off. They people are used car salesman and basically run a criminal enterprise when it came Mrs to memberships. They will screw u.Good riddance

2021-08-28The “complimentary” training session is like signing up to get pitched by a used car salesman for an hour. Hidden yearly maintenance costs just show up on your bank account w/ no warning. Quality of the gym overall is good, nice equipment and facilities but the customer service is most important to me and so I won’t be re-newing or recommending toA friend.

2021-04-16Stayed as long as I could stand it. When this place was owned by Atlanta Fitness it was good. The management here(Amber) and their corporate office just give excuses of why the gum isnt CLEAN? Why the employees are so unfriendly and the equipment is always dirty and no staff out cleaning...or why have sanitizer dispensers that are ALWAYS empty. Then they send out surveys...but never change their course of practice. So me and my girls are leaving and we are sharing with other members better options for fitness in our area...if they so choose

2018-05-05We love this gym! We purchased memberships before the gym was even built and lived through the growing pains of remodeling. The gym is clean, the staff is great and the enhancements are wonderful! We do several group classes as well as work with individual trainers and exercise independently. We have our favorites, but we have enjoyed all the group class instructors as well as trainers. This is a very family friendly gym which gives a relaxed feel overall. I saw where others were upset about issues cancelling memberships. Not sure why they have had issues. We adopted two teens, added them, all the kids grew and moved out, some come back for summers, add tanning, drop tanning - the list goes on! We are constantly adding and dropping memberships and features and have never had an issue. You do have to put it in WRITING, which I know some techies cant grasp, but it is seamless then :) Highly recommend this gym!!

2021-05-18I like the gym, especially how the powerlifting area is separate from the main floor, but it seems like I’m always trying to find plates and barbell clamps. Not sure if it’s because they don’t have enough or if people constantly misplace them but dang is it frustrating. One of the trainers here, Chase is super awesome and I do look forward to seeing him here, however the management here could use some work. I brought up a piece of broken equipment and was given no response combined with a look of “wtf do you want me to do about this.” Equipment is still broken 2 weeks later as I’m writing this.Tons of teenagers here, but I’m finding that to be a theme of every Onelife these days so it is what it is.

2017-08-10My family have been members of this gym going on 2 years now and we love it. I used to be a member of the Concourse Athletic Club but when I moved to north Roswell it became impracticable to continue my membership there. This place blows LA Fitness out of the water. It is clean, the staff are very friendly and helpful and they have all the resources and equipment I need from a gym. The best part is the nursery, where we keep our little ones while we workout. We have found all our babysitters here and they do such a great job.

2021-07-17This gym is short on plates for bench press machines. Incline bench press often has no plates available so you have to borrow from other places. Today I wanted to use resistance bands for rotator cuff exercises; after much searching I found them in the group fitness area locked up. When I asked for help getting them unlocked they told me the instructors have the keys and they couldn’t help.

2017-11-25I was one of the first to join this gym before it was even built. Love it! So lucky it’s nearby. Great classes, caring and knowledgeable instructors, and super clean. The brand new Pool and jacuzzi are a big plus. Super nice members too. Definitely a top notch facility.
