They have high-intensity workouts that you dont have to think about, build the plan, or research the moves. Just show up, and the exercises are already there for you. When you combine that with great coaches that ensure you are performing the exercise correctly and are constantly pumping you up, it becomes a killer combo.
I joined orange theory because I was getting enough from the LA fitness experience ( plus the east Cobb location refuses to fix their air conditioning which shows their care for their clients). I was intimated at first but the coaches there are amazing and incredibly helpful in helping you understand the workout and correcting your form. I’ve been going for a couple of months now and they still will watch my form intently and let me know how to “tweak it” to get more out of the exercise. My favorite coaches are Kristi and Vicki and very much appreciate their watching out for this ol’ broad. Build up your nerve and go! Wonderful workout and will constantly challenge you and kick your butt!!!
The East Cobb OTF team is amazing! Orangetheory is a great workout, but the East Cobb team is by far the best team around. The coaches are helpful and encouraging, but also a lot of fun. The front desk staff is also great with their friendly smiles and warm welcomes every day.Since joining Orangetheory 9 months ago, Ive lost over 35 pounds. I feel healthier and Im stronger and faster than Ive ever been. I enjoy going every morning because I know that I will get a great workout and its never the same thing.
The variety of the workout is my favorite part. I also like that the coaches push you but at the same time encourage you to listen to your body for when it needs rest so that you dont over exert. The workouts are designed to be effective for people at all fitness levels so they will have people from beginners all the way to very fit veterans, including other coaches.
Great place! Its not just about the workout. Dont get me wrong, the workout is great but everyone at OTF East Cobb has been amazingly friendly, knowledgeable, and supportive. I dont feel judged when I walk in or during the workout. Its actually quite opposite which is totally new for me. Its just a really great team of people and a great workout to boot.
This is my gym ... LOVE IT!!! Customer Service and coaches 10 stars! Front desk folks are very helpful, friendly, and concerned about past injuries. Coaches are awesome energy, explain workouts well, always give modifications, and really make working out something to look forward to!
Love this studio! The trainers are all professional and knowledgeable, the staff are helpful and friendly, and the workouts are incredible! I average over 600 calories a session and I never get bored with the class routines. Everyone should come and try the free first session and try it for themselves.
What I like about Orange Theory Fitness workouts and East Cobb location.1. Heart rate monitor and easy to understand feedback on the overhead monitors. 2. Trainers are excellent. They keep everyone on track. They ensure Im doing each exercise correctly and provide great encouragement. 3. The MUSIC!!! Always easier to get moving when the music is upbeat and the right tempo. 4. The email I receive with my workout summary. Keeping track of progress is zero work. 5. The clean and inviting environment and nice folks at the desk! 6. The professionalism of everything and how well everything is run. Awesome in all respects!
I’ve been going to Orangetheory for a few months now. I’m addicted to the intensity and competitive nature of the workout. I also love seeing my results in real-time. The instructors are so nice and encouraging. Highly recommend this as a workout whether you are starting out new or supplementing other workouts like me.
OTF easily is the best workout class I have had since high school sports. For years I have been mired in routine runs and strength training at local gyms. Though I am a creature of habit, if you keep doing things the same way you always have, boredom and muscle memory kicks in and you reach a physical personal plateau. OTF changed all that for me immediately. I cant believe I did not find out about how good OTF is until now. The diversity of the workout mixing in cardio with interval treadmill excercises, time with rowing machine, and floor excercises/weights is a perfect and dynamic blend. Rowing is an excellent full body workout and I love that it is incorporated into the sessions. The instructors are fantastic. It is mesmerizing to push yourself when you know everything is being tracked with heart rate monitor and shown on big screen real time. This pushes you to limits you would probably not ever go on your own. The group dynamic and music of course helps you get that extra burst you will never get training on your own. It also has a good balance and degree of variability and options for all level of fitness to get the most out of the workout. The space is well planned and clean at East Cobb. I have been in the area for over 5 years and joining this club is easily one of the best health decisions I have ever made. I used to wrestle in high school and I have not experienced that level of high intensity training and feeling of well being and strength until I started doing workouts at OTF. Great concept, great workouts, great people . I strongly suggest you at least try it. Its free the first time. I was hooked from day one.
I always have an amazing experience with OTF. I am impressed with the quality coaching from their trainers and how effective the work out is. They truly do care about helping you to achieve your fitness goals.It is very difficult not to get excited and motivated when you have your own personal coach and then surrounded by motivated people. I appreciate that you can begin at your own level and not have to worry about competing with other folks in the room. You will not have the intimidating factor here. I love that I can keep tract of my rates on the monitors. :-)I would recommend OTF to anyone who wants to get in shape, loss weight, enjoy working out, and just have fun. We work hard, but feel accomplished afterwards!!
The thing I love most about Orange Theory is you are guaranteed a great workout every single time you come in — and I truly mean every single time. I always leave drenched in sweat and feeling so accomplished. That guarantee is a huge motivator for me, especially on days when I don’t feel like being active. With Orange Theory I know that I’ll spend the next 60 min working my absolute hardest, where as had I gone to the gym on my own it’s likely I wouldn’t have pushed myself as hard or come out feeling as great.
Alright, alright....Orangetheory Fitness. The first thing that sticks out to me about this place is that the employees seem to love their jobs. They are so friendly and attentive. They hook you up with a heart rate monitor that keeps track of which zone you should stay in during your workout. HINT: Its the green and orange zones.They switch up the workout every time you go, but today they had us on the treadmill running at various inclines, rowing, and strength training with weights.I loved the whole experience besides the music. I wish they would have kept it more upbeat with either pop, techno, or hip-hop. The country music was not doing it for me.Plenty of parking and a great workout.
To be honest, I’ve liked Orangetheory in the past when I’ve tried it, but I always thought it was really overpriced. Now that I’m seven classes in since starting last Monday, I can say it’s totally worth it and am trying to convince some friends to join. I’m already down 5 pounds and feel so much better in just a week and a half. Every trainer has been fantastic, and the classes are fun and challenging. I surprised myself by hitting 10.3 in an all-out sprint on the treadmill yesterday which I would have never thought possible. I’m hooked! :)
I love working out at orange theory! The staff is extremely nice and helpful. The class are fun, but you also get a really good workout! Ive been going to the East Cobb location for 5 months and Ive gained a lot of muscle and built up a lot of endurance. I definitely recommend orange theory!!
Great facility, Great Instructors, Great Workout.I like that they email you your intensity report after the class that shows your heart rate over the course of the hour.Great Crossfit alternative. In the past I did not like cardio... but the competitive nature of the group training really helps push you to the next level.
OTF is the most efficient & effective workout Ive ever had. Ive never loved exercise until I joined OTF over a year ago. The class environment is so motivating. I love working out with same people each week and seeing their progress also. We push each other as the trainers push us all. The studio is run so professionally. The owners are fantastic and the employees that work that desk are knowledgable. So grateful that I found it.
Great experience since the beginning: scheduling complimentary session online; being greeted by Meg and Michael, at the East Cobb location, who made me feel welcome and comfortable; having my first session with Elizabeth, who explained how everything worked before the session started and made sure that I was following all the workouts and feeling all right to keep doing it. I have a membership now and I am enjoying it very much.
I dont know where to start but to say I love Orange Theory of East Cobb!!! From the first day everyone was very welcoming and helpful on my journey. Where else can you go where you get a different work out and a trainer to help you if you need it. I have found a new love for working out. The studio is very clean.
Normally good, but I walked out before I got halfway through a class.1. No instruction on the rowers. How do you zero it out at the start? Disturb the person next to you. During the block, are you meant to zero it out partway through? What do you do when you’ve done what’s on the board?2. Reverse lunges - my knee started hurting, and zero alternative exercise given.FRUSTRATING
I signed up before the official opening from a referral from a friend in Florida..... She said it was amazing and IT IS..... I have been going since it first opened in November and can already see amazing results the first month by only going twice a week.... Now I go 3-5 times a week and see even better results.... by far the BEST workout I have ever done compared to gym, personal trainer, bootcamp, pilates, running..... THIS IS THE BEST.....

2021-10-23I love that there are classes almost every hour of the day so that if one class doesn’t meet my schedule another one usually will. I love that I feel the results the next day so I know I worked hard. I love that the colored zones help everyone know where they are, so we can all push to a level that is perfect for us. I definitely push myself harder when I see how hard others around me are working. In my normal workouts I definitely would have slowed things down around the top of my green zone, so knowing where I can take my body to is so helpful. I also love that we have the coaches there to help make sure I’m doing an exercise right and to encourage me. Every time they call out my name I always up my level of intensity. They are so motivating. And I really like that most of the time the music is exactly what I want/need to hear to push me harder. Good music is such a motivator.

2021-05-26I’m addicted to OTF! I walk out of there feeling so energized. I feel especially proud of myself as I’m building my endurance. Coaches are amazing and so motivating of your accomplishments. I moved to west Cobb so I no longer attend the east Cobb location but miss all the coaches there!

2020-10-16Like personal training but in a group setting. Fast-paced, thorough workouts, and every one of the sessions Ive been to in the past six months (three a week) has been different. Coaches are encouraging, knowledgeable, and attentive. There is no down time or wasting time, and I leave feeling like Ive really accomplished something. My results have been amazing, too -- I feel like a different person than I did before I joined, and my doctor is very pleased with the improvements Ive made to my health.

2020-10-28The overall program is really good - the 20 mins at each station ensure your full body workout. Also, each of the 20 mins block themselves have variety week over week to ensure the body doesnt get accustomed to the same routine. It does push you at times to re-establish a new limit!! I have seen my body getting toned and I feel more energized after adding OTF to my weekly morning schedule. The coaches are awesome - they give due attention as needed and remain engaged throughout the workout session.
