Excellent staff. Always knowledgeable and helpful without being pushy or annoying. The guy let me look for a minute before checking on me (which I like). I asked if he could look up a part number for me. He did, then pulled it from the shelf for me while I finished browsing. I had everything that I needed and was out the door in 5 minutes. Thats my idea of a successful shopping trip. I recommend OReilly over the competition across the highway.
Corey and Brian were a big help today as I came in with my fresh check engine light on. And I really appreciate how they detailed explain the seriousness of my problem and also gave my scenarios toward fixing my problem. Thanks for the help guys I really appreciate it.

This is my new go to spot! Went to another parts store that told me they could turn my rotors for my break job... When I got there they told me they were too busy. Went to OReilly auto parts was helped out with a smile! They even gave me a soda for customer appreciation! Customer for life!

Very good parts selection both in store and at regional warehouse; true overnight shipping, e.g. order part at 8:30 pm and ready for pickup next day at noon (fastest I have found of all local auto parts stores); pricing reasonable...usually equal to or better than Internet only auto parts stores. Recommended.
Had a dead battery at our parking spot at Hartsfield airport. Got it jumped and made it back to Athens. Stopped at OReilly to re test the battery and it needed to be swapped for a new one. The service rep changed our battery in the pouring rain. Great service. This is my new auto parts store.
OReillys is always a pleasant experience. They have what I need and they even make helpful suggestions to make the job easier for people who clearly shouldve taken it to a mechanic, but since the struggle is real, they make it easier for the inexperienced.

I walk in the store,no customers at all,I ask the guy behind the counter for a 2.5 inch donut gasket for an exhaust header,first thing he does is,look up from his phone,and say whats this gasket going on,I say its going on a 2.5 inch exhaust header,the guy behind the counter with 1 brow raised in disgust like I just insulted his mother says,I got to look it up by part number,Im say ok,where is all of your exhaust items,the guy didnt even ask me if I needed help finding what I needed because he had no clue what I was talking about lmao,like really dude,your just going to let me run back here and waste all this time looking for something the store doesnt have apparently,its every time I go in a oReillys store I can never purchase what I need,I can go in and ask for gasket maker and Ill be willing to wager they will probably ask me what year,make,and model is this gasket maker going on.these stores are a joke,now I remember why I never shop here,I mean autozone its all that great but anytime I go in 1 of those stores,I always get help with what I need,and if I cant its almost always an autozone away that will have whatever I need waiting for me,they at least make me feel welcomed instead feeling like an inconvenience of their time,oReillys Is terrible and should incorporate higher standards for their potential new hires,I could go on and on about how terrible oReillys is but itd be a waste of everyones time seeing as how the issue wont ever be addressed,man at the ridiculousness of these oReillys auto parts store
As with most auto parts store in Athens...generally filled with people who act like experts and generally have little clue. I went there to have an alternator tested and let me tell ya...it was like a three ring circus. This is the reason that 60%+ of my auto parts purchasing is done online through Amazon and rock auto. Unless you need the part that moment, save yourself the money. I have priced auto parts at the local stores...an engine mount for Chrysler here was 88.00, it was 19.00 on Amazon...same exact part. The brick and mortar parts stores are going to become blockbuster video if they dont change their business model.
This company really needs to teach their guys how to be mechanically inclined and know what theyre talking about instead of running to a computer punching in numbers they dont know nothing

Every single time I go in this store I have to wait at least 5 to 7 minutes before Ican check-out because the person behind the counter is on the phone. Ironically every time I call up there to get a price quote they dont answer the phone..... Odd

2022-06-27I was driving an hour away from my home to my sisters house when all of a sudden I heard a very loud noise. I put my foot on the brake but it wouldn’t brake! Barely had any at all so I pulled over immediately into this O Reilly. I was very scared and I told the first person I saw who I believe is named Pam, she immediately came outside to look and told me I had break fluid leaking everywhere. She called her boyfriend and he came and looked at it and was trying to help me as much as he could along with another friend. I wish I could remember their names, anyway everyone in that store was so nice to me, made me feel so much better, they did everything they could, even offered to let me keep my car in their lot overnight so I could get find someone to tow it. I got my car fixed and I would recommend this place to anybody! Very kind people, thank you !!!

2022-05-25I don’t know why these reviews says these guys in this store are knowledgeable. You have to remember they are working behind a parts counter, they aren’t out there wrenching 24/7. But anyways i’m just making this complaint bc once again i received the wrong part, this has been on numerous occasions i get the wrong part. I’m going over the computer with them to make sure they enter in the right vehicle. don’t be surprised if you gotta run back and do a exchange or get your money back

2021-04-04I typically stay away from stores like this unless I absolutely have to get something and cant wait. On the positive side, oReilly usually is cheaper than their competitors. I go here first when I need to go to parts stores. AND they price match!

2021-06-16I love OReillys theyre only cheaper than every other place and they always have a warranty for everything and the guys are very knowledgeable about what theyre talking about that I have dealt with in the past
