Albany, Dougherty County, Georgia, US
Positive: The room was spacious and the staff was friendly Negative: The rooms are not cleaned and maintained. Upon arrival the toilet seat was broken, there was gunk on the bathroom floor, and a dead bug. Throughout my entire stay none of these issues were addressed.
This Hotel was horrible!! With a capital H .if you are looking for something nice and at least clean this is not it trust me. The carpet smells like wet dog ,they even changed my room and it still was funky. The bathroom is outdated it looks like something from abad Halloween movie ,with little mold spots here and there. I asked if the had a workout room lol it was a joke ..it was only 2 things in the room and neither worked. The pool was green and black. Its 4th of July weekend and youd think they would have it cleaned so people could swim ..but No it was nasty as hell . Ive attached some photos so you all wont think iam nuts . The only reason I had to stay because everything else was booked. Never again baby..nope
Positive: The location was perfect for what we needed Negative: The pool was green & had frogs. This trip was for my daughter who had a formal banquet to go to.My plans were to relax & lay by the pool & swim. This was not an option.Had I known, I would of opted for a different hotel
Stayed on January 8th, 2021. My experience with this lodging was a good one.The room was spacious and clean. Nothing spectacular, but it was a suitable choice for my needs. Had a comfy feeling. The bed was comfortable, and the sheets were clean. The bathroom was clean and stocked well. The location of this lodging was close to restaurants.First time staying at a Park Inn by Radisson, it was a good experience.
Clean quiet rooms convenient location and a great free breakfast. Here again 6-6 to 6-8-22.Rooms still fairly clean, breakfast no as good and only one ice machine so it was empty. It appears they are having an issue with getting help like many other businesses.I would still recommend them if you need a room at a fair rate.
Positive: Nothing at all. The worst hotel yet Negative: Apon arrival, the toilet wasnt flushed, dirty towels laying on floor and sink area. I had to aske for a plunger because it wouldnt flush. I had to fill the trashcan with water from the tub to flush when I used the restroom. I was told, no other room av
We always stay at the Park Inn when visiting Albany. Everything is always clean and well kept. The staff goes above and beyond to make sure we have everything needed to make us feel at home. My personal favorite is the breakfast - it is always spot on. There are always multiple of selections to choose from, including hot and cold items.
No water for 1 hour no hot water for over 4 hours i was not given a warning that the water was going to be off my wife was in the shower for 1 minute water shut off called the front desk she said I cant help you i just came shift and I dont know when or if it will be fixed
They charged a suprise fee in taxes. We booked our rooms 2-3 months in advance and were not given a correct total. A day before check in we were charged a $52 & $60 weekend fee. I asked for a manager and she didn’t come just sent another lady to deal with it while she sat in the room. Lady didn’t have info that made since says it was taxes from the different states but my sister lives in the state. We still didn’t get a clear answer of why we were charged these rates upon arrival. Or why it wasn’t shown in the original break down of the full reservation
Pros:Hotel is in close proximity to many many restaurants, also walking distance to multiple shopping area and mall. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Everything seemed disinfected very well. Bed was OK comfortable.Cons:Bathtub is outdated, even though pools are closed it was a very dark green color which is not very inviting to see. Air conditioner buttons kept getting stuck had to press very hard to get it cooler. Pillows were needing replaced. Conclusion: At time of booking prices were ranged $79-89 in this area this hotel is worth the price your paying. I would stay again would just like to see some minor improvements to raise review.
Positive: The location was great. However, there must have been some type of party. There were several drunk people in the area. Negative: The furniture needs updating. There were lots of scratches on the table and it seemed to have peeling paint. The carpet had stains and there was, I guessing an oil stain on a set of sheets. The sofa bed was very uncomfortable for my children.
ABSOLUTELY NOT, SIR...Your apology is INSINCERE and INSULTING!I DID NOT set the AC Unit to Heat. The unit was already on and set, when I checked into my room the night before! When I reported my issue to the night clerk; his response was, THEY FIXED THAT UNIT BEFORE AND WE HOPED WE WOULDNT HAVE THIS PROBLEM AGAIN...I also reported, that the outlet the unit was plugged into was dangling from the wall.Im a college educated woman, who frequently travels and stays in hotels. I am more than capable of checking the settings on an AC Unit!!!Really...The owner of the hotel takes the time to respond to my online review but, nobody from management bothers to contact me about my complaint.Sir...your response and attitude towards guest complaints will always be MIRRORED by your staff. And, It is troubling that your first reaction is to blame the guest!
This place is tired. My room number 226 did not have a smoke alarm. The Linens and towels while clean, were stained. The floor at some point had various gouges where carpet was put over it. Had I been wearing heels I would have gotten caught in the hole. The handle on the refrigerator is sticky / oily. Shower meld, it was probably mold on the curtain. There was no holder for the toilet paper roll. The bed had either a comforter or a duvet. It was covered with a sheet. It looked incredibly Lumpy indicating poor quality when washed. A remedy to a door handle hitting the wall was inadequate. Just must have been good as I did have a nice comfortable sleep. And it was quiet in the hotel also.
Worst stay ever! The first room I was in was filthy! Food was in the fridge! Bed linen was dirty bathroom shower was not cleaned and mold in the toilet! I cleaned the room myself as I kept asking to speak to a manger which never happened! The bright light was the head housekeeper that switched my room Saturday morning! The change was not made in the computer which resulted in the second room being given to another guest who informed the front desk that the room was occupied! Then on Sunday morning while getting dressed a male employee walked in on me as he was told the room was vacant! I got a call from someone on Monday asking what happened and I explained everything to here. She apologized she told me the manager was out of town she said she would give me a discount but that never happened! I Will never stay here again plus I will be posting these pictures to social media!
Although it was quiet at night, the bed was terribly uncomfortable and old. The sheets wouldnt stay on the top 2 corners. We had to keep putting them back on or they were all bundled up around us. We didnt sleep much. The pool was closed, I assume because it was green! No shower mat in a terribly slippery tub! Something was wrong with the bathroom light, when we turned it off, it still stayed on dimly and the lighted switch for it was flickering. Hmmmm. Not worth what we paid!!
We could not get new/clean towels for 2 days. After bringing this to the attention of the front desk clerk, I was assured that the next morning I would have clean tiles. However the following evening I still did not have any clean towels to bathe with and had to go to the front desk to get tiles. When getting the tiles I noticed that they did not have any face towels but had given me a towels that you stand on when you get out of the shower. Had those accommodations been taken care of, the stay would have been great. I felt filthy and my wife felt dirty.
The Park Inn is a real hotel experience. The front in staff is very beautiful with lots of experience. I believe there is great hotels full of luxury that people will be able to enjoy outside of their residence. The Park Inn is able to give me the best experience. I probably say there is a way I am so full of happiness to see a front in staff work great together. That is able to make my day better preserve and relaxing to see a great friendly front in staff. The Park Inn is most definitely a ten as I stay it has become the most pleasant experience.
Awful experience. Do not stay here. I was in town on business and decided to stay here for one night. There was a Georgia PGA golf tournament taking place in town as well and many of the golfers were staying here as well. As I entered the lobby, the check-in line was already six people deep. There was one employee checking guests in and she was a sweet elderly lady. That said, she needed help to say the least. The gentleman golfer trying to check in upon my arrival was told he had no reservation. He vehemently argued this to no avail. The next gentleman golfer was given a room only to return moments later to inform the lady that someone was already in the room. Another gentleman who had already checked in approached the lady and said there were no bath towels in his room. She told him where he might find some. He returned once again stating there were no towels at the location she sent him to. He was aggravated because he was wanting to shower and go to dinner. She told him hed have to wait until she got everyone in line checked in. He was very upset to say the least. Another gentleman came down stating his room reeked if marijuana and urine. Another gentleman stated his room was uncleaned including an unmade bed with soiled linens. It went on and on. I was finally checked in around 40 minutes after arriving. I made my way to my room. Though I had no horror stories as other guest, the room was certainly musty smelling and essentially old and worn out. Radisson should be ashamed of this property. After this experience, I would never stay here again.
Positive: Nothing bathtub/shower looked as if someone had used a tiller to scar the bottom toilet set was old and stained Negative: This hotel was awful. There was a horrible smell as soon as you walked into the lobby. The carpet in the hallways were dirty. I went into the room there was a crack in the wall that had been repaired but not painted. I stayed elsewhere
When we arrived the front desk older lady very polite to us.Helped us out and made us feel welcomed and gave us the perfect room for my husband and child.Room was very clean. Also the housekeepers are very polite and get there job done.More hotels need this kind of customer service skills.Room very clean.Thank yall!!
Positive: Very clean, updated decor, good location in walking distance to stores and restaurants, comfortable bed and quiet for sleeping. Negative: The front desk gentleman when I checked in was ok but did not point out wifi code or reminders about time for check out or breakfast and I had to ask which door to park by.
The employees were all friendly and helpful, but the hotel itself is kind of dilapidated. Radisson should put some money into this place to update it. The photos online must be from when the hotel first opened. I was very disappointed to see the pool was closed especially because it is listed as an amenity online.
Fraud Fraud!!!! This hotel is absolutely nothing like the pictures on their website DO NOT stay here the only good part about our 4 day stay was the ladies in the breakfast area and the housekeeping staff was nice. I’ve worked in hospitality industry for 10 years and this hotel needs to be renovated seriously this is bad management and the front desk need serious training so unprofessional and was always unattended. One clerk told me to stick my hand in the toilet to flush when I toilet broke and accusers me of breaking it as if everything in the room wasn’t already break. I tried to move to another hotel but was unsuccessful since I’m a travel agent as well and book it through our partnership site but I will be demanding a refund! If you could only see the pictures I have and when asked to speak to management they supposedly was never available and would reach out to me when let’s just say I’m still waiting on that call and I’ve checked out a week ago. Same on you Mr. Lomax you dropped the ball and I will definitely be posting this on every social media and travel site for travelers to beware!!!
Clean rooms, friendly staff, 3/5 because even though there are no smoking signs everywhere there is a strong smell of smoke as soon as you walk in and in the rooms. I had to go across the street to target and get a plug in air freshener. EDIT: I would still stay here compared to other similarly priced hotels in the area.
The rooms were nothing special. Nothing to boast about but at least they were clean. My main problem with this hotel is the cleaning staff that was knocking at my door at 9:30 in the morning when you check out time is it until 11 a.m. then, to make matters worse, they start deactivating key cards around 10:30 or so. In the midst of having to go back and forth to load the car, I try to get back into the hotel only to find out my key card doesnt work so after walking all the way around to the front and walking back to my room, I find out neither of my cards work.If you want to be made to feel welcome wherever youre staying, I wouldnt suggest this place at all. Go somewhere where they will make you feel welcome and not rush you away.
The worst experience my family every had at a hotel. Were do I began I have several family members to stay at the Park Inn over this 4th week for my husband 50th birthday party. The rooms were nasty the bedding had blood stains I will be call the Department of Health. Ask front staff for clean towels and was told told to bring dirty towels down hold up who wants to bring dirty towels down to front desk. And was also told that they need to wash those before I recieved the towels back omg are you crazy then gives use dirty looking towels and we ask would you use these and the staff say no they would not so why would they think we would just nasty and they said we would receive a refund guess what $30 oh you are funny.
The price was affordable and the area where the hotel is is decent.A few upgrades to the bathroom would really be nice.I didnt get the breakfast so I cant really tell you about that but due to covid I would just get my own breakfast. Nice for a night getaway. This will be the go to when I need a hotel room
Used to be a nice clean hotel. I paid for 2 rooms for my husband and I with our 4 kids. The shower curtain was moulded and turning colors, the towels had stains as well as the toilet, the sink was cracked up, the shower head coming out the wall, and the water got cold while my kids were taking showers. Im a Radisson member and the only thing they did was discount me $10! I paid over $150 for this filth. I will never stay here again. They also didnt have anything for breakfast not even grab bags. I understand its covid but they can at least have that!
Positive: The location was great. Negative: WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE... I dialed several different Customer Service numbers, over 15 times. Each time the call was answered and then immediately hung up before I said a word. Finally on the 16th try, I was able to speak with a person. Who was USELESS..
My family and I were traveling for a funeral, and the staff at this hotel were warm and friendly, and they made us feel right at home. It was a relief to stay there. They couldn’t offer us a full breakfast because of the pandemic, but they went through the effort of putting together breakfast bags for all of us. It was wonderful!
Not sure what the smell was but it wasnt pleasant walking into the room. I was honestly afraid to lay in the bed, but we always travel with our own covers and sheets. I took a shower and the 1st towel I picked up was completely soaked. Like the towel was wet when I took it off the shelf and it had stains in it. I went to the hand towels and the 1st one I picked up was also dirty. The only reason I gave 2 stars was for the pillows and the super hot water. Then EVERYTHING in the vending machine is $2...50cent canned sodas and 30cent chips...$2 a piece....ridiculous. I will probably pass on this the next time and just spend the extra money to have a good, clean and comfortable room
The breakfast was always the best part of our stays at this hotel. The staff is friendly, but never in a hurry to do anything. Check in can be as quick as 5 minutes, or as slow as twenty and there never seems to be help available when I am in a hurry. The rooms are hit or miss. We have had clean rooms, and we have had, not so clean rooms. Most of the bathrooms were poorly renovated and have no ventilation. During our last, and final, stay our bathroom wreaked heavily of cigarette smoke to the point of making us nauseated and there were ashes on the floor, back of the toilet and on the tissue box. The smell stayed strong the entire time and their air fresheners and purifiers they used had no affect. This is a smoke free room, mind you. Also the previous occupants seemed to have had a bug problem.
Had a reservation and arrived @3am checked in and given a key. The door was locked with someone in the room. We were told they were full with no other available rooms. An apology that a guest had stayed over without paying nor informing front desk. We were exhausted and was given no assistance in finding another hotel. After sitting in parking lot calling 5 other near by hotels that were full as well, we tried to go back inside to ask for possible hotels with rooms available and clerk had locked the door on us and would not respond. It was a terrible experience.
Stopped here for the night on my road trip. Service at the front desk was excellent. The room wasnt too shabby either. I know COVID makes it a little difficult but, was really hoping for breakfast to start my day. Plus the pool looked closed or just hadnt been used in a while. Either way thanks!
Stay was ok. Checked in to find out my reservation was cancelled so the guy made a new reservation which put a hold on my card. Waited the 7 days to see if hold would fall off it didn’t. Called Park Inn for a week straight no answer. Contacted customer service through radisson hotel and spoke with a guy who say the hold but had to communicate with someone at the property in order to rectify the issue. Customer service called guess what no answer. I called again 2 days later finally got someone emailed info as proof and explained to the owner’s wife my issue. Her customer service was horrid she didn’t feel the need to apologize foe the inconvenience cause she did nothing wrong. Like how are you even in business. I always stay at this location at least once a month when visiting and I’ve never encountered such awful service! I have reported them to BBB along with proof of the hold. 👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽 If I could rate it 0 stars I would!
My stay at the Park Inn is superior. The front in staff is ten stars. The front in staff is very passionate about friendliness. My stay at the Park Inn is wonderful and feels very relaxing. If anyone is looking to find a great place to relax with a great front in staff, the Park Inn has a superior experience.
My husband, kids, and I came down here to spend time with our other kids and to attend the fair, tried all hotels and this one was very friendly when I came in and she also let me see the room before purchasing. The room was cleaned, beds was soft, just didnt have towels but she brought enough for my husband and kids. The best part was in the hallway was a snack machine and ice machine. She also informed us there would be breakfast at 7:30. Thanks so much for a great and safe stay.
My daughter and I spent a night at this motel and were very pleased with the experience. The beds were comfortable and the breakfast was hot and delicious. These things we expect to receive and were grateful for. The personnel were friendly and helpful, but where they were most helpful I will explain. I left my personal pillow in the room and called to see if it were found. It was found and turned into the desk. I asked if it could be mailed to my home and charged to my credit card. Mr . Patel, the owner, personally took care of it and it arrived promptly. I appreciate the act of kindness and am writing to share this with prospective guest. I am sure you will also have a pleasant stay here.
Reserved a handicap accessible room which we didnt receive. The second we walked into the room the smell hit us hard so we immediately walked out. Went to the front desk where we were given another room. The smell of marijuana was so overwhelming in the other room we decided to leave. While attempting to get a refund a cockroach ran across the lobby floor. That was the entire 10 minutes of our stay at the Park Inn! The locals told us later they call that hotel the drug dealer inn.
My husband, children, and I stayed at this hotel a few days ago with a large group. We had a blast! The staff was so friendly and welcoming! Some of the group was telling a staff member about their love for music and the next day, the guy brought his guitar in to play for us! We felt like the staff was apart of our group. We wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else. Great job, Park Inn!
For Albany I was pleasantly surprised. Rooms are clean. Up to date amenities. Staff was friendly and helpful. Check in was fast. Booked online through Priceline and got a really really good deal for last minute plans. The free breakfast was actually decent. Scrambled eggs, french toast, sausage, waffles. The reason I didnt give 5 stars is because at 630am it sounded like the people above me was playing basketball. So if I stay again I will definitely get the 2nd floor. Was a pleasant stay.
Worst Hotel experience ever. The front desk staff was very nice, but they lost our reservation. Had to wait nearly an hour before they gave us a room. The first room they gave us had dirty sheets piled on the bed. When we complained, the housekeeping staff became very rude. They claimed the sheets were clean they just hadnt made the bed yet. We asked for another room, in the second room the door handle was broken and we were trapped inside until they came to fix it. We were there for a workshop and found out they lost other peoples reservations as well.
My boyfriend and I stayed at this hotel for the convenience of the location, and we thought it had good reviews. However, our experience was anything but pleasant. We asked for more towels and they said they did not have any extra ones, the lady at the front desk was very rude to me when I asked her why they did not have extra towels, so I walked back up to my room, and when we came back down I told the lady at the front desk to please not go in to my room when the towels are ready, but I will pick them up when I come back to the hotel, she completely ignored me, even though I was literally standing right in front of her and there were no other customers. So, I left and when I came back I asked about the towels, and she told me they were in my room, even though I specifically asked them not to. I stated this to her and did not get a response, ironically, the towels were not there and they called me in 30 minutes to let me know that they were ready. When I came back down and asked to speak to a manager, I was informed that a manager was not available, so I asked to speak to an assistant manager, who also coincidentally, was not available, so they let me speak to the housekeeping supervisor, at least so they said, and when I explained that I thought the customer service was horrible, and that the lady was disrespectful...The supervisor did absolutely nothing and the lady at the front desk, who mind you, was being very rude to the supervisor as well, literally told me I could get the hell out of there! This was by far the worst a customer service I have ever experienced at a hotel, and I have stayed at many.
We have stayed here the last 3 or 4 times weve visited Albany, going back to when this was a Best Western, and it seems like it has been going down hill the last few times since it became branded as Park Inn. The back door is hard to open and you have to yank it open from the outside. Was very annoying to hear that all night that time we stayed in the room right next to it. It has been like this for several years and hasnt been fixed yet. This stay housekeeping would only leave us 2 towels despite the fact we are a family of 4. Any time we asked for more they mentioned something that the hotel was booked near capacity and did not have enough towels so they gave us some pool towels. Each day we had to ask for more towels as housekeeping would remove 4 dirty towels but only put back 2 each time they made up the room. As we were cleaning up our room to check out, we first noticed the middle sheet on one of the beds had some red spots on it (see picture). None of us were on this side of the bed, so it wasnt us that did this, but it really makes us wonder what they consider clean or at least check the sheets when they put them on. In the bathroom the small bottles of shampoo and conditioner werent replaced during our 4 night stay. We are considering a different place to stay on our next visit to Albany.
My family of five stayed here for a church gathering in Albany. We’ve stayed before, but never has it been so inviting. The guy at the front desk was so welcoming. My family and our friends were telling him about how much we liked music and the next day he brought his guitar and played some songs for us in the breakfast area. My family was actually sad to leave. We will recommend this place to everyone!
Very disappointing and disgusting. My family and I Checked in 2/09/18 and checked out 2/11/18. When we checked in there was a sock left on the floor from the previous guest, stains on the sheets, the door hinges were rusty and just about everything metal had rust on it, plus the room had a dirty dingy odor. The room itself was not exactly dirty but it felt dirty and nasty. I was so scared to have my kids sit on the floor let alone sleep in the bed. I didn’t want them to shower or anything. The room was not infested with bugs or anything but it just was dirty. You get what you pay for. I told the staff at the service desk, she told me that she would inform the manager and I expressed my concerns about not trusting if house keeping actually changed the sheets and cleaned up properly. She never got back to me. So, I asked again upon check out and I was informed that the manager knows and he/she would call me but here it is a couple of days later and no Call I was in Albany for a training class so my husband and mother in law thought it was a good idea to stay at this hotel. I will never stay here again!!! And very upset that a manager never got back to me. The only good thing about our stay here was the food. The cook was on it and they give you good hot food here
Gave our room away and didnt have the courtesy to call or email me. When we got to the hotel after driving almost three hours to get there, they lied and told my husband they tried to call me. When I showed them the email they sent me with my reservation and date. They couldnt come up with anymore lies. All you had to do is email me and told me you gave our room away. This is bad business, I used to love staying here when I came home to visit not anymore.
This place is older. They ran out of towels the first night of our stay. We only had two wash cloths and two towels. No hand towels. Thankfully we only had two ppl in our room. The fitness center has a small piece of weight equipment, one treadmill that doesnt work, one one elliptical that also doesnt work. Useless! Breakfast was nice. Beds are comfortable. Hallways are HOT; especially on the 2nd floor. Rooms smell like smoke when you first walk into them, but the smell quickly subsides. You can tell housekeeping is not detailed when they clean, bc there was some kind of food stain on our nightstand and it remained until we checked out. We felt our rate was over priced considering the quality of the hotel.
Hotel carpet was visibly dirty in hallway. Rooms smelled of mildew. Rooms were not available upon arrival at 3:20 with a check in time posted of 3:00. Management was not concerned and offered no apology. Yet stated the dont rent by the hour. Only 2 of each towels, washcloth and hand towels in room at check in. The next day after we returned to find a clean room with no towels, washcloths or hand towels, we asked house keeping for some and were told they ran out and would bring them later. The next morning after we asked again is when we received them. Worse place I ever stayed.
Worst stay we had in a long long time! The room was completely filthy! (Room 202) The AC was so nasty that we had to turn it off - in order to not get sick! Bugs in the bathroom and very unpleasant smell everywhere! And that all for 150$ per night! We had no other option bcs we fled from Hurricane Irma and there was nothing else available! Never, never ever again! Stay away!!!
Room 112 smell of mold which they try to mask with a deodorizer. The tubs spigot was so loose you had to hold it to activate the shower...and to top it off a roach came to visit as I was in the bathroom....When I informed the desk clerk of the roach...he had the nerve to tell me that it was a common roach..No roach should be a common roach in a hotel.
The Park Inn is located in a really nice area, with quick access to plenty of restaurants and stores. We stayed in the kitchenette and it was very spacious. Wouldve liked a couch, but there were 4 chairs around a table and a desk chair. Have stayed there previously, and had a nice stay then also.
We have a special needs son and we couldnt find someone to stay with him. We had to cancel our reservation the day before we were scheduled to stay. Hotel personnel canceled the reservation and gave us a cancellation number. To our surprise our credit card was charged $79 for a no show. Talked to the manager and she stated that our credit card was not on file. We had dispute the charge through our credit card company. 1 hour of time out our lives. I dont know who to believe. So sad, beware.
The owner is very rude, after giving my complaint ..and is a liar. My guest and I did not destroy the sleeping area we actually cleaned the room surveillance cameras can show us asking the cleaning lady for her broom because we didn’t have extra money for tip also we all did not eat breakfast due to the rudeness DON NOT RECOMMEND young teens are not treated equally.
I liked my stay here. My room had a king bed; an arm chair with an ottoman; a desk with a nice chair; mid-size fridge; microwave; television with cable. There is a fitness room and laundry here. My only complaint is the internet is in and out to the point it is unusable.
Have stayed here ~8 times, all on business.I pay extra for the executive room, as the non-executive room that i stayed on one time had problems with insufficient shower pressure, and a brown fluid stain on the bathtub.Ordinarily, the executive room is clean, and quiet with free wifi. However, last night, I had a poor experience in the executive room. I was woken up at 5 a.m by someone talking loudly at 5 a.m, and I could hear loud footsteps. I called the front desk, but she was unable to find where the source of the noise was.
I travel a lot and good customer service is missing from most places, but not here! The manager I spoke with (Alex?) was very friendly and made me feel like I was at home. Every time he saw me, hed mention my favorite football team and was relatable. I stay on the road, but I feel right at home when Im here. Its not just him. The staff all around would greet me from the minute I walked in the door to getting checked in to waking down the hallway. I wish I could give them 6 stars on customer service alone! (Chick Fil A kind of service)
Well the lobby was hot, our air conditioner didn’t really cool at all our bathtub had the handle that you use to get out literally falling off, plus even the maintenance people even said the upstairs hallway smelled like pot, the front desk acted like it was no big dealAboit the handle falling off, her name was jayla, it took untilAlmost midnight to get the maintenance people up there they had to go back and get there tools, the lady at the front desk the next morning acted like it was no big deal also I have a picture of the poor condition of the bathtub I would like the owner of this to read all this and reply personally to us
Out dated and smelled funny, I was up near the front desk and asked for water, kid said that’s just for members, ok I’m a member, show me your membership, it’s in my room! Never mind if it’s that big of a deal keep your water, this incident was the final straw, I was checking this hotel out for my company, we have a job in the area and are needing 4-6 rooms for a few months! Not now!
Clean-ish rooms, uncomfortable beds, windows cannot be completely darkened with the curtains. Breakfast in the morning was so so, nothing you havent seen a million times before at a chain hotel. Basically all the hallmarks and pratfalls youd expect of a roadside hotel. However the staff is courteous enough, and its convenient to the highway, so you could always do worse I suppose.
Hotel is nice enough for the money but ... It is being painted now. When to sleep smelling fumes(headache) the painter worked long after dark. The wifi never worked during my two night stay. The TV remote and room phone not working! I reported it but next day nothing had been done! The staff did enter my room and turn a/c off. I came in late afternoon to a sun soaked hot room. After two hours I could not take it anymore. I had to move to another room. The painter continuo to work into the night. Ms.Cynythia desk clerk was as accomdating as she could be. Im fairly certain I will not be returning to this Radisson Inn in the future! I honestly believe to serious refund to my company is in order but Im sure the franchise owner will not make it right. Sorry about my luck! I enjoy doing good reviews in fact I do not make a move without checking them. Granted some time things happen and all anyone can do is react. The good reviews brought me to this place to begin with; we will see how this review is addressed. Hospitality/food and beverage critic by years of travel!!!!?
This hotel gets no stars. company booked 2 rooms. king suites. rooms were 175 per night. only had one room reserved after paying for them the previous week. also room max is 139 but due to hurricane these P.o.s were price gouging the rooms which is illegal as hell. they should be reported. would never recommend these low lifes
At first I was a little hesitant about booking at this hotel but once we arrived I was confident that we made the choice best fit for our need and budget fast friendly check in the hotel staff was excellent the kids enjoyed the breakfast on day of check out breakfast was over and the staff held it over so the kids could get a meal we will be back the rooms were cleaned the shower was hot thank you for your kind generosity during our stay.. our travel time was
Room 235. (first night) Smell like in a tavern (is a non smoking hotel). (seccond night) They give me another room. 230. wake up at 1:28 am. While sleeping something is biting me. open my eye. something is moving on my pillow. instingtively i kill the bug. what disease i can get? Went to the front desk. the lady there say ... i am sorry. ... and there is my blod on their pillow... and my elbow...
Issued resolved thanks (Hotel is currently a 1 (STAR) however all attempts are being made to fix the Hurricane damage and I was relocated to a Radisson in better condition nearby (2/8/19)... I travel the US for work and LOVE Radisson hotels, until now! The parking lot is very small with limited parking available. Yes location is perfect but Lots of work being done to the building so construction up to 8pm at night sometimes and their trucks hogging the already small parking lot. The INTERNET is needing a serious upgrade (1 bar) majority of my stay if it worked at all no matter how many times we called the (800)#. Unsecured internet that ran slower than dial up whenever it did work. Loads of customers complaining during breakfast about the slow internet service and their own issues. Management please look into this, I hate to see you guys get such a bad reputation if this continues! (2/5/19)
I wouldn’t recommend anyone to stay here ... a lot of equipment is torn up the manager talks about the guess when they not around , breakfast is ok , it’s a weird smell going up and down the stairs as if people live there or somebody have sex there but nobody attempts to clean it , most of the doors broke , most of the problems are hidden by paint in your rooms mainly behind the chairs, what’s worse is how employers treats there employees , talk to them any kind of way , curses all day , see nothing wrong with her actions , telling people who are off work to clock back in to work , and worse she fire military employees who had drill and has no control of missing work ... yeah it looks nice but behind the front desk it’s crazy ... y’all have a great day ok 😊👍
Im a contractor for georgia power and have stayed here multiple times and everytime was dissapointed the wifi was horrible i ended up using my data and running my cellphone bill up and that was just a week ago first time i stayed here i complained about it and they said they was working on it that was almost a year ago also i stayed here and when i used the restroom the toilet wouldnt flush so i went downstairs to get a plunger and they guy at the desk said he couldnt find it so i asked him what im supposed to do he said i dont know so i stayed in a room with a toilet full of my waste and then another room i stayed which was room 202 for the management that reads this the toilet was comimg off the floor overall worst hotel ive stayed in

2022-04-26Positive: Friendly staff. Sufficient breakfast. Good coffee. Clean rooms. Comfy beds. Negative: My cousins and I had several rooms rented for a cousins¿ reunion. We were promised the pool would be ready. It was not and in fact was downright nasty, we would not have selected this motel had we known. We would have moved but there was too many of us

2022-03-07Positive: Location was great, it was very clean and the house cleaning crew were very helpful and pleasant to speak with. Negative: I felt like the receptionist could have seemed more warm on and inviting. She also didnt make notes on my room that I would have a late check out. None of this is a big deal, I just expecting a little better customer service skills from a receptionist.

2022-02-26I was so surprised of such a pleasant experience from check-in through check-out. Everyone were so nice and friendly, rooms were clean and comfortable, hotel was safe and quiet, and breakfast was fresh, warm, and abundant starting off a great day. Check-out was also a breeze. We really enjoyed our stay and look forward to booking future visits.

2022-03-24Service by the staff was great, they are respectful and actually attend the customers. But the hotel itself is unpleasant, first the door did not want to open, it was super loose as if someone was trying to kick the door in, then i notice there was no smoke alarm, then phone does not work. Then the shower head like was bent and pouring water else were, which leaves less pressure in the shower head. Then to top it off, the place is being renovated soo no other rooms available 🤦🏼♂️ i can go on and on about the room but come on, the site manager needs to let corporate know they need to step up their game.

2022-05-07I was supposed to have king suites. I was given double queen rooms. I went ahead and went with it since the price was the same. The towels and washcloths were dingy and had stains. I was unable to receive new ones because they were out. I went to a store close by and bought some. The toilet had a ring in it and the carpets needed vacuuming. There was still trash in room for previous guest. The breakfast was nice.

2022-07-07Room had rusted fixtures, and peeling paint. Even though it was a smoke free room it smelled like cigarettes. Went to the breakfast the next morning at 7am and was told everything except muffins was gone. Then the lady working the dining area got on her phone and started talking bad about the guest, I dont know what they want from me not like Im cooking anything. I ended up cancelling my second night and going to the hotel down the street. Will never stay here again not recommend.

2022-03-15Rooms are very nice, they put the remote controls to the TV in plastic bag. They seem to be going about and beyond to keep guest safe. The breakfast was simple but good

2022-06-28Positive: The staff was very welcoming and friendly. This is an absolutely excellent value for the price! Negative: The only aspect that was sub-par was the pool. We didnt stay long enough to use it, but it desperately needed to be cleaned.

2022-04-11One of these most horrible sights I have ever seen at a hotel. Only thing good about my experience was the nice lady a the front desk. Who is over seeing that the rooms are properly cleaned. Pull back the covers and almost gagged. Horrible. I dont want to describe what I saw but I couldnt eat for the rest of the night. It was out right embarrassing to my guess who came from Atlanta. Someone need to check the maids after they clean because they are just putting fresh sheets over filthy sheets. Discusting.

2022-07-17Facility is poorly maintained. Upon arrival, the lawn areas has grass almost knee high, once checked in; used towels from previous guest were hanging on the shower curtain rod, shower curtain was missing. I went back to the front desk and changed rooms. The wall lamps on headboard wall does not work. I went out of a side door to get additional items from the car and the key card did not open the door when I attempted to use it for re-entry. I walked around the hotel to the front entrance, informed the front desk team. The male first stated they work, but may be having some difficulty; the female said none of the side or back doors work with the key cards and the front is the only entrance. I voiced my concerns about safety when returning to the hotel at night and walking around the building; she apologized. The pool is not in use and is filled with dirty water, pool is still advertized on the web site. The hallways to the rooms need cleaning and vacuuming. Wall board next to the AC unit is very dirty with splashed and smeared stains. Upon check out, I asked for a receipt, I provided my email address as requested at that time, seven hours later, no receipt. I called the hotel, provided my email address again and was told I would receive it in five minutes. Forty-five minutes later, no receipt.
