My experience was horrible and it continued even after the service. I dropped my truck off on March 5th for a PM which they charged $700. To expensive. They let me know freightliner had recalls they would handle which I appreciated. When I finally got my truck back a week later on March 12th, 1- my APU wouldnt even come on. 2- the lights on my dashboard did not come on when the key is just on the ON position. 3- the sensor that lets you know I need coolant stopped working. I called to speak to a manager; when he called me back I explained everything to him. At no point did he apologize. His focus was simply I need to drop the truck to them. Since I have no confidence in their service I will not take it to any Peach State Freightliner. My starter went out while I was on the road; I took the truck to another freightliner in Maryland. They found loose wires and had to change them while changing the starter. I am only giving 2 stars because some of the people were nice.
Giving 3 stars because of Connies customer service. Other than that, the lack of communication is what really made me leave this review. As a truck driver, everyone in the community knows we dont make money if were not rolling. The dealerships know this too. Instead my truck set here for almost a week after being completed the same day I brought it in for service and no one called to make me aware of this. Stop biting off more than you can chew if this ends up being the result. Cant blame that on COVID.
Poorest Customer Service in Atlanta...One Parts Counter Guy on the counter and 20 people standing in line.Management wouldnt even come out of his/her Office to HELP THIN OUT LOBBY!Cross train service tech to help with parts would help a great deal. Out of all Locations Forest Park is the worst!!
Worst experience at a freightliner Ive ever had. Ive owned 7 freightliners in my life. I currently own 2 so I deal with freightliner all over the us. Tyler was the guy that helped me and he didnt want to search for my part and he was very rude. Seems like freightliner just hired people. Freightliner, maybe you should require your employees to complete customer service courses before hiring them. Last thing we want to encounter are people selling us the wrong parts, then you dont want to search in the computer sitting in front of you for the correct part. Freightliner you should do better.
We took our Western Star there with an electrical issue. These idiots used a truck forum for Detroit and Mercedes mechanics to come up with my rx module was bad. Before I took the truck to them I had already looked on YouTube and truck forums myself. We changed all the suggested parts except the rx module because it was on national back order. They told me it could be 6 months before the part was stocked. So I find a the module at another dealer velocity Freightliner, 7 hrs from atl. I drive there and pick the part bring it back and it was wrong part. I don’t think they actually checked the part because of the rx module was bad my dash would not power up. They wanted to charge me another diagnostic fee so they could guess again. Why would Freightliner senior technician need a online chat forum to give him ideas on what to check. My gauges aren’t self testing or sweeping from left to right and back left. I senior mechanic should have had a clue on the schematics of how the dash works.
Speaking on behalf of my 67 year old grandfather that yall locked out of the gate and left sitting outside in the MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT... Im not sure of the names of the two men that promised him help, and even if it isnt yalls responsibility to transport him...dont tell someone your gonna help if you dont intend on doing so. 🤷 Atl is a bad area... especially late at night.
Worst place to come for parts i was in line since 1:40pm and came out at 4:10 empty handed i can believe they dint have a dd15 fuel filter the guy said we been out of stock for 2month..the manager here its its worthless..why not get the lady up front thats supposedly is there to help shes just sitting there doing nothing but looking at the floor she could help out and get the line moving faster i will never come here again
THIS PLACE DESERVES NEGATIVE 20 STARS!!!! Worst customer service ever. You literally sit for hours. People that work there sit behind the counter and talk and don’t try to work in a timely manner. Definitely would not recommend to anyone EVER! I can understand being short staffed but when the staff you have isn’t doing their job and cares 0 about the customers than we have a big issue.
Terrible service, they had our truck for 10 days and no work was really done. Dispatchers lie to customers about the current status of the repair. Mechanics do not come to work for days, thereby extending the date of the end of the repair. I do not recommend this dealer to anyone.
Unfortunately Peach State Forest Park Has the worst service for trucks no response from reps or managers they only contacted me via email so I had to drive over there twice . Not the type of service I expected from a dealer. If you don’t believe me call them and try to reach the service department . Not to mention they left parts unhooked which I had to pay another mechanic to get fixed . It has honestly been a headache dealing with these people I only lost about 400 500$ bucks dealing with this place but if you are really out here you will understand the time it’s time that these people seem to have an abundance of and in this trucking world time is money even with multiple trucks this type of service really hurts operation .
I called several times in one night trying to get ahold of someone in parts and sat on hold for over 2 hours total and never even spoke with a parts person. The first time I hung up after 45 minutes, called service and was told to call back around 9:30 that things slow down. Called around 9:45 and sat on hold till I got hung up on. Called service again and was told I was being transferred to parts person and was just sent to their voicemail instead. Service answers right away. Parts is a joke. How this dealership is Elite certified is beyond me. Waste of my time.
Came to the dealer today to pickup parts to fix my A/C today. Was greeted by Mrs Brenda Wilson. She is very knowledgeable and also very friendly. Which is very hard to find in this business lately. So the last thing needed was an hard time cause I’m hot and tired from driving. She was very patient with me from beginning to end. With customer service like this! Y’all has just won an customer with me. Keep up the great work.
The only positive mark is that this is the only place you can go to in the entire Atlanta area to get Freightliner parts. Besides that take a large dose of patience with you on your visit because youll need it. There hasnt been one time that I have been able to walk in looking for parts without waiting for over a hour to get to the counter. They continuously have 4-6 people sitting at the service counter eating, texting or playing on their cell phones or gabbing about how much money theyve made for the day while one or two people attempt to take care of the unending parts dept. line. And management is a joke. Cant control what service does yet your the manager. Please. And hes busy pulling parts but heavens knows for who because the poor parts guy had to get his own repeatedly. Customer Service---ZERO
The worst place I ever been to it took me fudging 1 hour and 30 plus minutes to get my core money back. That’s fu(:!?ng ridiculous. This MFrs think we have the time to seat for hours.. they have 4 ppl on service desk which they don’t t do shhh but talking to each other. And one guy on parts for like 10 to 20 drivers to take care off… also the lady at the cashier on her cell instead of offering good customer service… the place is such a joke…
This is by far the WORST freightliner parts dealer in Georgia. They have zero customer service. The counter workers move with no urgency when they have customers who are lined out the door for over an hour. Instead of using their additional staff they have to assist in customer service, they allow them to sit and talk on their personal cell phone. This is a clear indication that customer service and customers time has absolutely NO value to freightliner in forest park
Who can I talk to here about my truck repair and how they are dragging this job. The warranty paperwork was supposed to be submitted since Friday but wasnt submitted until I called again on Monday. The warranty company, NTP reached out for more info and no one responded until I called again by this time NTP was already gone for the day and now the claim wouldnt get processed until Tuesday. That is 3 days downtime just to send some paperwork that can be done in 30 minutes. Then Im losing money every day my truck sits there. This job was supposed to be done a week ago but after they did a $1700 assessment, they found out later that more stuff needed to be done on the release transmission. This is unacceptable.
Just got work done there. Very nice people very friendly. I will definitely use this freightliner again. Very clean environment and drivers lounge. Vending machines so you can eat if stuck there for hours. If you need work done I recommend you go there for your semi. Drive safe and be careful on the road.
I always come to freightliner atleast 3 to 4 times a week to get parts. I always get in and out because I call ahead of time and put in my order. Be ready with that pick up number. Staff is always helpful especially a parts clerk named BRENDA she is always helping me out going above and beyond to make sure I have what I need. She is almost always there when I go even on Saturday having a good attitude keep up the great work. I have a closer freightliner to me but always prefer coming to this one because of the service and the relationship parts usually in stock. Thanks for being helpful 👍
Id like to start off my saying WOW, all these wonderful 5 star reviews..... if your inperson. if you on the phone with then or trying to get ahold of them for parts GOOD LUCK 👍👌 I WAS ON THE PHONE FOR 2 HOURS until then picked up and said they were to busy then hung up the phone in my face! I was very offended! So I called services and the girl was very kind until she said shed help me then transferred me back to the parts center. so I hung up called services back and she then forwarded my calls u real if I could use a no Star I would!!
My 1st time here & the line is out the door with only 1 person assisting customers. Everyone here waiting near me has said this has been going on for years. Does the corporate office NOT read reviews??? Is it that difficult to hire some help to accommodate your PAYING customers??? GEESH!
Always has a long line. Never has enough employees working. Never has much in stock. Their inventory aint never right. Mechanic will have stuff requested put in will call for quick pickup and drive over only find out they dont have the part in stock. Very frustrating 😕
I called ahead 2hrs to order parts. Then when I got there a had to wait for 1 hour and 45 minutes to pick up my parts. Then when I finally got to counter the AC line he brought up was bent and it was the last one they had. So I wasted 2hrs for nothing. Horrible service will never order from this location again
Went to pick a truck up for my company, drove the truck to our yard, checked the oil and water and it wasnt a drop of oil on the dipstick. When I visited this facility, it was chaos, in the building. People were just standing around, mad. The lady a the service desk seemed lost and unaware of her obligations. A mess!!
Showed up with a DPF issue without an appointment on a Sunday during Memorial weekend.Truck was pulled into the shop within 30 minutes and repaired just 2 hours later !Extremely fast/friendly service. Even left the truck running with the A/C on to make sure my pet was comfortable while I took care of the paperwork.Special thanks to Brian the service writer and the entire staff. You guys ROCK!!!
This location is amazing they always go the extra mile to make customers happy. Ms Brenda Wilson does an amazing job. She does the proper research on the part that one needs if they are not fully aware on the info of the parts. Thank you soooo much for being helpful Ms Wilson.
DEAR MR. FREIGHTLINER, Its the audacity. I am a Mexican woman in California, looking for some parts and I am about to have a BF. If I could rate this 0 stars I would. I have been on hold for over an hour! Someone answered and placed me on hold again!! If youre short staffed just say dat.
I totally agree with the comments below, they really need to improve customer service, I hate go there b cause of that, poor customer service, it doesn’t matter what time of the day you come , you know it will take you at least 1 hour of waiting time, loooong lines of people and only 1 or 2 people working, come on people, I live 4 minutes away from peachstate freightliner in austell and guess what, 90% of the time they send me here because they have no parts there, what a joke
Ms. Brenda Wilson was very helpful, not only did she help me with my parts but she explained me how it work. She was very kind & patient (very rare when dealing with people at part stores). She answered all my questions that I had... Thanks again Ms. Brenda we need more people like you!!!!
Brenda Wilson was incredibly helpful and insightful! She made my experience at Freightliner quick and efficient. That’s someone who understands business and will get you back on the ROAD!! They’ll always have a customer with me as long as Ms. Wilson and like minded individuals are behind the counter. Thanks Again
I’ve been going to this location for years and I’ve never had a bad experience. Miss Brenda has shown me how to save on fuel and maintenance by suggesting different types of products. If I’m out of town and something happens, I call this location and have them lead me in the right direction.
I want to say thank you to Ms. Brenda!! Today was my first time walking into Freightliner. My business partner and I are in the process of getting out first truck and need to get a quote of all the spare parts we want our driver to have in the truck while on the road should something happen. I had a long list of parts and it was busy in there. But Ms. Brenda took care of me like I was the only person there she took her time went down the list and made sure she provided me all the information I request !! I’ll be back to this location for all my needs going forward!! Thank you Brenda for welcoming me to the Freightliner family!
My 2016 Freightliner Cascadia broke down on Saturday May 2nd. The service department had it in the shop first thing Sunday morning and had all of the repairs complete by 1PM in the afternoon. Not many dealerships are open on the weekends but to find one that will make you feel like a priority and do everything possible to make sure you are taken care of was terrific. They even took the time to play with my dog and get him some water. The attention, care and respect I received was outstanding. They even expressed concern about me being able to deliver my load on time. Thanks to a 7 day operation I was able to accomplish.
This is the worse freightliner I have ever been to the waste of personal you have the parts line out the door and service line has 4 people just sitting with no customers they need to cross train to be more efficient. I go to other freightliner and they are more efficient.
Arrived at 1:25 p.m today to pick up a bumper, was told to wait in my vehicle until called to come get part after watching the parking lot clear out TWICE I asked about my order and was told I have all these people in front of you to which I reminded the lady no I have been here since 1:25 it is now 3p.m then she walked away I called inside to speak to someone who happened to be the man who originally signed me in and he told me I will get someone to pull it now!!! Extremely unprofessional, rude, and it is now almost 4 pm and they just bought our part . I pray no one else is done like this considering it is almost 90degeees outside.
On Wednesday May 13, 2020 I had to take my truck back to this shop because my truck DERATED, shortly after having repairs done. The Service Advisors are NOT KNOWLEDGEABLE of their job. They cant give you a answer if you ask them, what color is the SKY. I asked if I could speak to a manager. It was stated that the manager was in a meeting. The outcome of my visit was unsatisfied, because it was told to me that it could take up to 6hours or maybe the next day before my truck could be checked out and get fault codes.I had ROAD SIDE to come fix me up on their lot...DONT STOP HERE
If I could give no star I would. Waited in line for almost 2 hrs just to get keys made, get to the window and was told I had to email my information to a address. Email my information along with pictures and requests of the type of keys I wanted, waited another 30min and was given the wrong keys, are you kidding me???? Never will I come here again. FAHOLES
I had a DEF pump and accessories put on Jan 24 2020. My truck And was under 500K miles. And yesterday Feb 24 I was having issues with the DEF system. So they trouble shoot it and tells me I need a DEF pump and senors and other stuff. But now the truck is over 500K and no longer under warranty and the estimate for the repairs is $6346.58. The majority of that is labor charges and they are milking the clock. I looked in the work bay and my truck was put back together and the tech was working on another truck. And I inquire to counter clerk and the tech came out and told me they were underneath the truck. And he closed the bay door so I couldnt see if they were working on my truck or not. This is two days to do a DEF job but yet when it was under warranty they were done in a few hours.Completely dissatisfied with this location
Nothing bad to say. Good experience. I was there all day, but I was a walk in, and they fit me in and took care of me, on a Sunday. Not only was customer service good, the tech who worked on my truck, kept me informed on the process of my repairs. Yes they get busy, the parts line can get long, but my go to place here in Atlanta.
I called into Peach state Frieghtliners a few weeks ago to Order a few parts, I believe I spoke with someone named Wally. I just want to let you all know How professional and helpful he was, You can tell that he takes pride in his job. Keep Up the good work! And thanks again for the awesome service
Excellent Customer Service. They listened to my concerns and where equipped for the repair. Not only that they did it in a timely manner and communication was excellent. I was unfortunately under a hot load when my truck broke down and they fixed it just in time for me to make on time delivery. Thank you service desk and Mechanics.
Hands down best experience I’ve had with any Freightliner shop. James was the tech who did the repairs. He was quick and did a great job. The service writer Brian kept me up to date throughout the morning to tell me the finding and the progress. Everyone I came into contact with had a great attitude.
It has taken me 3 weeks to review sry, . What can I say this place is and was amazing, it was Friday before labor day weekend and my clutch exploaded, well I assumed I would be waiting a while,. They worked all weekend and I was ready to roll at beginning of week. I am an owner operator so this is extremely important to me. I would not hesitate to drive the distance and return. The girl behind the counter, sorry I have forgotten your name, got me to a great hotel as well, .they even held my dog while I got my stuff out of truck
Much to my surprise on my first visit got in at 7:30 and got out 4 hours later completely fixed and unexpectedly encountered a super nice crew that did not have an inkling of any of the usual Southern cultural issues. It was so refreshing, I am going to have to call Freightliner corporate office and tell them that these people are doing it right, we should all take a lesson from them... what a great bunch of folks..!!
My husband and I went to freightliner to get our truck fixed 10/28. We took it to get the air compressor fixed. They called us to let us know two days later that our truck wouldn’t crank to pull it into the bay to fix it. They told us they had to do a diagnostic test and would let us know what was wrong. They sent us an invoice a few days later to let us know it would be $11k to fix the truck. They informed us that $11k would fix everything that was needed to be done. This included the price to fix the air compressor and whatever fuel problem was going on which caused it to not crank. They called us a week later to let us know it was ready. Mind you this is after we called numerous times inquiring about the condition of the truck and the timeframe so we could get back to work. We went to pick up the truck 11/12/19. It wouldn’t start. We let the mechanics know and they came outside and checked something out under the hood and got it to crank. Last night we went to crank the truck and it wouldn’t crank. We took it back to the dealership this morning. They sent us a $7900 invoice this afternoon saying something else was wrong with the truck and that the previous diagnostic wasn’t what was needed to fix this problem. So basically the $11K we paid wasn’t necessary. We contacted corporate but no one has called us back. Please stay away from this dealership. $11k down the drain for them to not fix our truck but actually cause another problem and ask for almost $8K more. We will be seeking advice from our lawyer because this is unacceptable!!
This place usually has the parts that we need. Being a big name brand, of course the prices are higher but I understand that. The reason I only gave them 3 stars is because of how long it takes to get what you need. And most of the time there are plenty of employees on duty running around all over the place or just standing there doing nothing. They seriously need to reevaluate the parts departments customer service and sales set up area.
I just completed a complete review of truck ownership and parts replacement analysis (my daughter did it as a college class) buying replacement parts . Quality of parts is a better metric of price. When you calculate labor and time replacing cheap parts. So I updated my review too 5 stars. Also when access of the parts is put into the picture. I cant figure out how bad additudes have any thing to do with it,other than say my additude seems to influence there additudes. Thus I always get great service ,fast ,and. ......now I have the numbers and the price and how long parts last.
Me Brenda she was a godsend to me. I am so grateful to her she makes you feel so at home whe I come to freightliner and with at that time you feel you are her only customer. After she finishes you feel like freightliner is you home she is amazing how you feel when you leave Thanks freightliner and a big big shout out to Brenda we need more people like her she is a blessing to freightliner and to usThanks israel
Call in and check on parts. Was told that they had what I needed, asked them to set it out for will call pickup. Drive over to pick it up only to find out ,after they finally find the paperwork, that they do not have the part. This was not the first time this has happened. Also had a outside parts sales rep come by my shop about two months ago said he would be back in a week with a charge account application have not seen him since
The people at the counters and the mechanic that worked on my truck were very helpful, knowledgeable and courteous. Job well done. The only thing I didnt like was the $162.00 hrly rate. Thats higher than many othe4 freightliner dealers which are normally somewhere between $110 - $128 per hr. And that is a lot of money still.
We own a 2015 freightliner Cascadia, took it there to get serviced. When we spoke with the service department we explained our issue. Within 3 hours we had an estimate. They did the job, said we would pick up the truck the next day.1. The next day arrived to pick up the truck, the Covid-19 has a lot of companies distancing people. We were instructed to stay in the vehicle and to call the number that was given to us and to let them know what space we were in. When we spoke with Amber she said that she was going to let the service desk know that we were there. We were then called again to be instructed to leave the vehicle and to pay for the services rendered. So service desk made no effort to tell the guard at the gate that service doesn’t come to the vehicle.2. They billed us $132 more than the estimate.3. When we went to pick up the semi. We showed the tech that was working the 2nd gate where the semi was the paid invoice that we were there to pick up the truck. He walked away and instructed us to park the car in the middle of the entrance that was Impeding the line of traffic for semi’s for 10 minutes. I then told the other guard at the gate that I had the keys to the truck he then instructed us to go pick it up.No communication amongst your employees and Amber was just the worst when it came to customer service.
Trucker Beware... Bought in my truck for power steer leak and cruise control doesnt work. Three days later I pick up my truck got on the highway and found out my cruise control still isnt working. Also a couple of days later I notice my power steer is leaking again. I lost 3 days of work for what.Updated 10/31/20I had to bring my truck back to this location Since I already paid for the service and course I’m waiting for them to look at my truck Today is 11/4/20
Called multiple times could not get through to a person at the parts desk, however, it was wonderful to be able to drive to their location and get the part I needed on a Sunday. In my semi. And get back on the road again. There were 6 or 7 other people waiting in line when I got there and by the time I left there was still six to seven or eight people waiting in line behind me very busy location on a Sunday they need more parts counter help persons and cashiers to get people in and out more quickly and they most definitely need a knowelegeble dedicated phone answering person in the parts department
I wish there was a option for 0 stars! What a complete wasted of my time and money.. I paid 2k to only have my truck returned with my dash lit up like a Christmas tree. I told me that they wanted to run a test to “check and see IF that would fix the trouble.. Mind you they want me to pay for “check and see” while my tab was already at 2k.. Seems to my that they are computer mechanics... TRASH EXPERIENCE
Called to see if they had the part we needed. Explained what I needed they said yes and they would be open all weekend. Drove in got there was told 2 different stories so we was given 3 stories by the time it was all said and done. We ended up leaving. Y’all need to get your employees on the same page and tell customers the truth and not different stories from 4 different employees. It’s ridiculous!
I want to take the time out to give a big thanks to Brenda Wilson at Peach State Freightliner. She went up and beyond to make sure I was purchasing the correct part, her patience was so welcoming. She is certainly an Ambassador of Peach State Freightliner and will be one of the many reason I will continue to do business with Peach State Freightliner.
I am so taken back by the unethical business practices and behavior of this establishment. In my 10 years of operating, I have always had the highest confidence in the Freightliner brand and the people that represent them. That confidence has been erased. This shop and the chain of command has no regard or respect. The employees use profanity in front of customers, they have terrible communication problems and uncompetitive pricing. I will do everything in my power to spread the word and let the people they are in business to serve know the extent of how unprofessional and unapologetic this branch of freightliner has become.I Am exhausted with efforts of trying to make my experience better and exhausting with trying to get the parts that were left off of my truck. I am disgusted. They should be ashamed, they are ruining an established brand.Update: Nearly a month later, the shop refuses to replace parts that I have photographic evidence that these parts were on my truck before I had work done at this location. Not only did I have to pay an additional $2700 because the technician did not do the job properly but they FORCED me to pay for their mistakes and FORCED me to buy the parts that were missing. This is literally the worst I have ever been treated in my life with anything and by anyone. I will do everything in my power to discourage any support of this establishment. Your service manager Steve Plants is a true gem, he literally continues to lie to me. I wish I was a fly on the wall in the shop.
Dealership had my truck for a week and a half and wasnt able to fix the problem. Poor communication as to what needed to be done. I had to call them daily and got a different answer each time as to what was being done. Ultimately, nothing was done. I was able to get my truck fixed at another Freightliner in one day. Definitely avoid this place at all costs if you can.
American worse nightmare!! do not never thing about visiting this place for any service as they will hold your truck for many weeks... 2+ weeks! that will cost you 10X more then what the discount or service they will provide you! it take them 2 hours just to process a payment after repairs complete, so just imagine how long they will take to repairs.. take my word or you be SORRY!
I would rate it higher if they would just hire more people to work the weekends. Three parts employees, but no warehouse guy and no cashier. There is a line out the door and at least a hour wait time. All because they don’t employ enough people for the weekend shift.Don’t come here for parts on the weekend between the hours of 11am-7pm unless you want to wait in in line for an hour or more. It feels like a management issue. Try hiring more people, damn!
Where to start? It took 10 minutes to be acknowledged by service personnel and I was the only customer there. When I told them what I needed, I got the deer in the headlight look and the Advisor only asked for the VIN. I was told it would take 2 hours after I asked. Here I am writing this review 2 hours later and they havent even touched the truck. Still sitting where I parked it. I noticed on the menu board for Engine/Trans diag there is a minimum 1.5 hr charge, plus + plus + a $35 Connection fee. Really? Plugging a scan tool into a diagnostic plug is not included in the 1.5 hr diag charge? What a rip off!!! I guess its their right to charge for opening the drivers door too, but are they right? Keep Driving if you can. Personally Id pay a $1500 tow bill before coming here again. Update 1: truck still where I parked it 3 hrs after write up and the phone to service is ringing and ringing, being ignored.
Came here to check on the noise from the suspension and transmission. It took dealer more than 24 hrs to get someone to take a look at it. Diagnosed that i need a new clutch . Got a quote for over 6k from them, and they would only start working on the truck 5 days later. Called the place 9 miles away, the guy quoted 2 k, truck was fixed by next day. Dealer charged me 400 just for diagnostics, which took about 30 mins . He wont see any of my trucks there anymore, what a waste of time and money.
Worst experience I ever had with any freightliner repair shop. I constantly had to go to other dealerships to repair my truck. Once I complain about it to the owner they lie to my company as if I threaten employees. Because they didn’t wanna honor their work drivers beware.
I made two trips to location on 7/22/18 from Suwanee Ga. The first trip was actually ok it was the second unnecessary trip that I made which just angered me. So the mechanic called about a/c lines and spoke with Austin who indicated the lines were in stock. So I called back to speak with Austin and asked him to put his hands on the parts because thats a long drive to Forest Park. He assured me the parts were there and took my information so he could have them ready once I got there. Well wouldnt you know they only had one line of two needed. This is after I asked Austin to put his hands on the part. I was extremely angry because that drive and lost time could have been avoided. This wasnt the first time the same guy has done this which is why I wanted him to put his hand on the part. So who do you really blame? The inaccurate parts inventory or the parts clerk? I tried calling the manager to no avail. I know there will come a time I will need FP again just hope the experience will be better certainly will not allow Austin to help no matter how long the wait. The sad part is the coward stayed in the back and did not come out and apologize. Never ever had that experience at any of the other locations. Customer service should be numbet 1.
For parts and service, Peachstate@Forest Park is my first stop. I have grown accustomed to the courtesy and professionalism of Brenda W. Her infectious smile, strong work ethic, and yeoman effort make the reason for my trip to your location worthwhile. Thanks, Brenda! You are a mensch!
Been at least 3 other dealers truck still not working. Came in talk nice young lady with great attitude.--Angelia-- She worked Saturday 9/22. Worked with James(skillett) think nick name was above and beyond helpful. Both came in explained everything and under warranty. Out in couple hours. Will be back here for sure. Best and friendliest freightliner been. Keep up great job!! ThAnks!!!
First time here, arrived in the morning around 0730, apparently express assessment with the quicker diagnostic and less down time is irrelevant. Was told by girl at the the service counter they wouldnt get to until Tuesday. I asked if there was a chance they could at least diagnose my truck today so we at least know what were looking at, she said maybe. I asked same girl approximately 5hrs. later what if any chance they would be able to diagnose my truck today, she came across a little rude and proceeded to go on about I told you Tuesday, you have a Cummins. Personally I dont see what that has to do with anything on a quick diagnoses. Trying to be patient. 🤔
Sitting here since Sunday and still waiting for 2 days for the diagnosis results and estimates to be sent to the Premium 2000 warranty company for repairs to be started. Chester at the service desk keeps telling me that they are working on getting me an estimate for the DPF to be cleaned. How long should that take? I would have preferred him telling me that they cant keep up with the work load and are behind so itll be a couple of days!!!It is now Friday. Still sitting here since Sunday!!! Cornell gave me an update on Wednesday and come to find out that the dealership has been calling the company for authorization for repairs instead of the Premium 2000 warranty company. With that being said, getting authorization from the company means that the funds will be deducted from my maintenance account and/or my settlement, for something that is covered under the warranty. No communication among the service desk/service techs to the customer. On top of that, I was informed that they only have 2 Cummins engine techs on duty, Monday - Friday, day shift. But the dealership is open 7 days a week. Im like, but this is a freightliner dealership right? I dont know of anyone else opinion/experience but, as for mines, its terrible here with service and lack of communication to the customer!!!
Horrible! Took my truck for a bad brake chamber which was under warranty on a Saturday and was told to come back Monday when it will be checked. I called Monday and I was told it was fixed. Came, picked up the truck and drove 20 miles away and the problem reappeared. They lied to me and there wasnt anything fixed. When I came and confronted about it and they started getting really rude since they lied to me. Their only defense to their lie was to get rude!
Brenda was a great help and very professional and a great personality she also talked me a lot about my vehicle and keeping me on the road had a great experience with Brenda just want to say freightliner are really blessed to have her I know all the truckers are thank you freightliner and thanks to Brenda Wilson
I stopped in to have my Cascadia diagnosed for some transmission issues and was quoted 5200 and change to replace my clutch. After making some calls I found that most places do this for about 3200 dollars. I questioned them and they said that I could go somewhere else and it would still cost the same. I got a load back to my home area and 3239.04 later my truck is fixed. I strongly recommend avoiding this dealership. They prey on hardworking folks and think that just because they are 2500 miles from home they are gonna bow to them and their prices. I’ll be filing a complaint with the BBB and also contacting Freightliner corporate and letting them know what a disgrace it is to be partnered with such individuals.
Something you can tell about this dealership they are too big to control, right hand does not know what left hand is doing.Good Customer Service is something they have never heard about. There is only 2 locations for Freightliner In Atlanta And they both belong to the same company.I wish i could say would never go to them again but there is no other choice..
Horrible. Called for part. They said they had it and even went and put their hand on it. Said they put it in will call. Drove over an hour to get there and there was no part. One person says no part, no pick ticket, nothing, but funny enough he found a pick ticket but no part. Then said, he had to input info for pick ticket, but I never gave them info for it except for my name. Hmm! The guy then said, oh, the person who took the call is always doing this. It is a multiple times a day occurrence. Then the lady chimes in and says they dont know who took the call. Need to get your stories straight. Now I have no part with a loaded truck. Will use anyone but them or do without.
They dont have very good technicians, so its like something that should be done within two hours takes them about six hours to figure it out, and this will end you up paying for all those unprofessional technician wasted hours. it has happened to me many times. they even does not have very good guys who works on electrical component with only one electronic technician.cooool
I had a bad clutch pedal master cylinder, I called them one hour before arriving, when I arrived they started to work on my truck immediately and I was back on the road 2 hrs later. Im sorry to hear that other people had a bad experience in this place but in my case was a great experience.Try your best Peach State !!!
Feeling not got the best service I expected I will never recommend any one to this facility especially the lady on service desk she never cares if you get good service or not it’s better the Administration to look in to it cause I wrote on a paper that I had sound coming from the fuel pump and also oil leak and they only changed my fuel pump after 8days from the day I brought in the truck I found that the oil leak has never been fix and when I told the service desk lady she argued with me that I did not sign for it. I told her to bring the paper that I wrote with all my truck issues and once she brought she saw that I wrote instead of saying am sorry I forgot she started yelling at me.
Checked Truck in Last ThursdayTook them over 4 Days to Diagnose the TruckI was Told yesterday that The Head for the Truck would be here 2DayI Called to Check on it . now there Telling me ThursdayAlready been Down 6 Days..I can Honesty say they are not Prompt..Every time I call I get the Same Answer or Response ..
I only give them one star so I could write a comment. If you are an owner operator do not bring your truck here. They wasted my day tried to charge me 1300 dollars and send me back out with a broken truck. Didnt fix not one issue it was brought in for. Leaving with the same truck I pulled in with
Ive been dealing with peach state approximately 2 years now,Miss Brenda aways takes the time to explain the good, the bad,and the ugly in any situation i dont understand.ive only owned my truck 2 years and miss brenda have helped and explained more to me than most mechenics, shes always a treat when dealing with peach state
I should have read reviews before I came here. I couldnt agree more. These have got to be the rudest people, all I did was check in. Id stay away from this place and take your money elsewhere. Southern hospitality my crack, Ill take my issues elsewhere from this point forward.
They have the highest labor rate for freightliner in the country and have such low service.clearly they only care about themselves and not the customers. With such a high rate id expect them to be top notch and offer driver amenities that other dealerships offer. This will be last time Ill come there. Higher prices have me running away at$145/HR
This place sucks big time they promise you to fix it in one day but it takes forever they doing false diagnostics in charge for it a lot of money. The service manager Steven he is rude have zero knowledge in customer service and doesnt care about the customer I will never come back again here!!!
Absolutely go somewhere else. Attitude from service personnel when trying to get important info I needed to help get things moving after sitting here for a week already. They said they were having a problem with the manufacturer getting back to them. Meritor told me to get the reference or case number so they could help me get things moving and now service wont give it to me. They said there isnt one. Hmmm interesting. They are working with someone they know personally, when I asked how they communicated with Meritor. Yet I have been here all week waiting on their buddy to give them the simple download and codes needed to get my brand new 2017 back on the road. I am losing a ton of money and they could give a crap less. Do not come here as you will lose money as well. I have been here a week!! A week!!
Well I read all the reviews on here and didnt like what I read, but what choices do you have? This was closest dealer to me so I took my truck and hoped for the best. They got some stuff done correctly and totally blew it on a few things. For one I was having a/c problems where it would just stop blowing cold. It didnt stop blowing just stopped being cold. These idiots had the never to write on my in voice and I quote it was to cold outside to properly diagnose. How stupid does that make you look? Certified truck shop indoors and heated but to cold to diagnose. Lol Also when I flip switch to dump airbags it sounds like a car horn blowing. These idiots wrote on invoice that was normal and all trucks make that sound. Then charged $148.00 for flipping that switch and writing a stupid comment. Ive been driving for 13 years over a million miles and Ive never heard a truck sound like that. It normally just sounds like air leaking out not a car horn blowing. Customer service was very dry they did say to bring it back and they would look at it again.lol Im sure for a $148.00 an hour to write stupid stuff like that no thanks. Will never take my truck here again!! All total over $3,000.00 dollars and only things repaired was passenger window wasnt working fixed that replaced windshield wiper switch and replace vents on back of cab and two short heater hoses that were easy to get to. Im in the wrong business.lol. Stay away these people are a joke. Also I like owners response to the comments. Im sorry reach out to me in private and let me make it right. This is for the owner you shouldnt be on here having to say that you should be sure that your customers are happy to begin with and how you accomplish that is by hiring good people who know what they are doing and pay them for their knowledge. If they become slackers fire them. Dont allow them to charge $148.00 to flip a switch and say nothing was wrong with it. You and all people like you know right from wrong but are blinded by money always have been and always will be. I promise you this you cant take it with you. You treat people right and your yourself will be rewarded. Treat people like crap and you will lose in the end. You reap what you sow. Anyways Im done to all my trucking friends stay away from these idiots.
I work for a freightliner in florida and was in need of a part that peach state freightliner in forest park had. I spoke with Brenda in parts and she was great! i wish all the other parts people i have to deal with around the country for parts at other freightliners were as easy to work with as brenda was. She rocks!
Freightliner of Forest Park is absolutely a scam!!!,they have big miscommunication between their shifts and because of that they always will make the customer fault. They charge very expensive prices for repairs and diagnostics but in the real they dont do anything and they keep lying and telling the customer day doing everything by the book this place is an absolute a scam !
I actually used to be please with this location but it has went way down hill. Repair quotes have gotten outrageous! Also trying to get an ETA on any repairs after truck is dropped off seems impossible. I called several times to find out about the progress on my truck which I dropped off at 7:30am , one advisor said he would call me with a quote shortly. Five hours later after not hearing back from him I called and a different advisor told me the truck had been looked at and they would have a quote tomorrow. Its only 4pm in the afternoon. Why not just call while its still in the bay so I can authorize the work. So now I lose revenue waiting for a quote.
Great place for right part..but all part seller guys are same s**.. unprofessional they dont even look at you .. while you are asking for part.they suppose to show some smile and give warm greetings to the customer.. because none of them will be there with out customers.
Forest park location give you a lot of problems paying with debit card, or check they try to force you to use straight cash. Either their card machine isnt working or your DMV photo id isn t legit enough...😐 drive 1.5 hours for part but cant purchase it becomes card machines don t work
This shop did not do the work that they billed us for. We had to have the work redone 2 months later. Another freightliner dealer redid the work, then when we contacted this dealer they refused to do anything. We went to corporate peach state freightliner, they refered us to their representative, who in turn told us because we didnt take digital pictures of the work and parts that were redone, they wouldnt refund our money. We were called liars even though we have TWO separate bills for the EXACT work. The freightliner dealer who redid the work backs us up on the work never getting done. DO NOT TAKE YOUR TRUCK HERE! Not only are they fraudulent in the work they do or DONT DO in our case, we were treated horribly. I was also told by The service advisor that I needed to watch and double check any work they did. So if it wasnt done, it was my fault for not watching them do it. This place is completely unprofessional. What a disgusting way to do business.

2022-06-18Yesterday I had an awesome experience dealing with Joyce. I had one of my trucks go down and end up on the side of the highway. Once my mechanic reach my driver and asset the issue I immediately got in contact with Joyce . Not only was she kind and patient, her knowledge of her job and what I needed was over the top. She took the time to pull ALL the parts I needed, place them in will call ,send me a link to pay the invoice, and also assisted my mechanic whenever he arrived to pick up the order. Thank you Joyce and continue to show others what good customer service looks like .

2022-04-28Customer service absolutely sucks. Can’t get anybody on the phone in the parts or service department regularly. This used to be a great location to get parts and service but over the last year or so it’s really gone into the toilet.

2022-07-07I’ve been doing parts pick up for 26 years. Today was the single worst parts pick up customer service of my life. I waited in line for over 30 minutes to be told when I got to the counter I was in the wrong line. No signs or arrows helping customers figure out how their location works. Then I was charged 40 more dollars than quoted by the Jefferson peach State location and they would not honor the price even though I had the quote in my hand From the Jefferson location with the correct price on it. They were two separate altercations between the employees and the customers because of the poor service and the obvious lack of organization or integrity. Two other customers got an argument because they were so mad at what was happening they turned on each other. If there was any other place in Atlanta that sells freightliner parts this place would not last

2022-06-03I wish I could give them no stars. I am having the worst experience ever. I put my truck in this shop on April 13th at this location only to get it back to do the same thing that I put it in the shop for in the first place. First they give me a quote and tell me that its going to be $4,000. Okay. Then they call me back to tell me that they fixed the problem and the truck lost power and if I wanted them to diagnose it. I said yes. Now here comes another bill. I ended up spending $5,000+ only to reroute my driver back there to pick up the truck so it can break down with the same problems again on his first deliver. 🙃 I called them to let them know what was going on before taking it to a shop and the girl tells me that I can take it to any of their locations. I had to pay $900 to get it towed to one of their shops only to get another bill($3,000+). And still dont know if the truck will be fixed. Customer service is not good and no one wants to take responsibility for the job that wasnt done correctly the first time. If it was something else that happened to the truck I would feel like I had to pay but the truck did the same things as it did the first time. Beware... dont take your truck here unless you want to pay a lot of money and still leave with a broke truck.

2022-03-13Clean place. Costumer service is ok. Really satisfied with the repairs they have done. They found and fixed a wiring issue that I had from almost 2 years. Many dealer shops were unable to find the problem. So 5 stars for repairs and 3 stars for customer service. They don’t have Trl parking there and no Driver Lounge…

2022-06-02I would avoid this Freightliner they do shabby work and will make you wait multiple days after returning for existing issue. The amount time it takes them to get things is mind blowing. The better location is McDonough if you can make it.

2022-05-05I would like to thank the service advisor JB for his efforts in helping me to receive a Warranty credit upon repairs to my Freightliner. With his service advice and knowledgeable assistance he helped me to save $2k+ by accepting my prior receipt for work previously done by another Freightliner dealership and submitted it for further research. Thank you once again!!
