I spent $3000 at this store buying my son a mountain bike and also purchasing a bike rack. A couple weeks later I bought myself a mountain bike online and brought it to Peachtree bikes as they said they could put together and it would take 4-5 days. I called 4 days later as my son really wanted to go mountain biking with me and they said it would be ready today or tomorrow. I didn’t hear back and called 2 days later and they said it wasn’t ready and they couldn’t guarantee when it would be ready. I told them I needed it today and they said just pick it up and do it yourself. They are really nice when you buy and expensive bike from them, but don’t count on anything else.I picked up the bike and brought it to free flite bikes who did it in one day and charged me a lot less to do it and was appreciative and thankful for the business unlike Peachtree. They clearly are very busy and have let this get to their head and don’t provide good customer service anymore.
Excellent service and prices. I bought a bicycle online and they kept me informed every time about the status of my order. They also helped us to pack my new bike for airplane travel and helped us to get it into a box with the right size so Delta wont reject it at baggage check-in.
Excellent service; I was very pleased with how they packed up my bike and the staff was very kind and explanatory. They were also schedule-conscious and upfront about the timeframe for work. Would definitely use them again if I needed someone to work on my bike in the Atlanta area.
Went in to quickly grab replacement SPD cleats, but even with 4 visible employees and only 3 customers in the store no one greeted me or ever acknowledged my presence. I finally tracked someone down after making my rounds through the store for a few minutes to get what I needed, but the employee seemed like he had more important things to do. I understand people have bad days and would write it off as such, but I’ve been to this shop at 3 different locations as they have relocated further north over the last few years and had similar experiences each time. I’ve had much better experiences at their shop located on Marietta Street and continue to go there anytime I need help with my Specialized gear.
Went in today with some questions about how to change the rear wheel cassettes/gears between 2 bikes. Not only did they do it for me at a great price and on demand, I asked to learn and they taught me how to do it myself for next time! Support your local bike shop. These guys made me feel well taken care of and appreciated.
Too many frustrating experiences with this place! I have an S-Works mountain bike and I used to go here because it was the closest Specialized Dealer, but I got fed up with the nonsense and Ill never go back! They installed new crank bearings on my mountain bike and I took it back twice because it wasnt right. The first time, it had over a 1/4 of play in it.The second time, they didnt have the right washers/spacers on it. I ended up taking it apart and reassembling it myself with the correct parts (according to the SRAM diagram).I ordered an S-Works tire once and when I went to pick it up, he had the heavier Grid version because he said the S-Works tire wasnt available. I told him that I didnt want the Grid version, and if he had called me, I would have told him to skip it. (Thanks for wasting my time and gas!)I had them replace one of my cracked carbon rims... The rim they used has different graphics than my original rim and I have never liked it. If they had called ahead of time and told me, I would have bought a used one off ebay that matched the one I had! Which brings up a point - they say theyll call you when your bike is ready or when your part comes in, but they never do!And then there was the time when I had them replace my frame bearings... I called to see how it was going and the mechanic said he had taken the bike apart but he was quiting the company and they took the frame to the Sandy Springs store but some of the parts were still at the Buckhead store... What a nightmare!!!Im done with Peachtree Bikes... I found another shop thats farther away, but the service is 100 times better!
In August 2018 Dave looked at my pristine but badly fitting 56cm Giant Allegre 14-speed bought on sale somewhere 20+ years ago. He then put me on a 52cm Cervelo R3 with an Ultegra 20-speed group, the correctly raised and positioned seat, the correct length and angled stem and handlebars, and much more secure Zero Aero pedals. It was a pleasure to have him teach and encourage me while he fitted me perfectly on only the second road bike Ive ever purchased. Im loving this bike on my indoor trainer now but also looking forward to some cooler riding weather this fall.

2021-12-18Chuck and Will are simply the best. These two went above and beyond to take care of my bike. Depending on traffic, I live 1.5 to 2 hours from the shop, so it’s not an easy affair to get my bike in for a service issue. Through absolutely no fault of theirs, the first attempt did not correct my issue. These two guys bent over backwards to help me get my bike back into and out of the metro Atlanta area. Will and his service team diagnosed the issue, corrected it and got me back on my bike in 48 hours. Their customer service was A+.It’s worth the trip to get to Peachtree Bikes, I don’t think I will buy from anyone else

2021-04-14I went in with my bike on Saturday and after they looked at it briefly, decided to take it in. On Wednesday they called me and said they needed to take apart my hydraulic brakes and the cost would be $200. I have had this same issue before and it was fixed for $32. I would have liked them to do the work and charged me something reasonable and not waste over 2 hours of my time as I need to go take it to another shop. They responded to this review and said it was $200 to replace the whole brake but that does not make sense in this context as they specifically said it was to take apart the brake not to replace it.

2021-07-15A group of four people went to Peachtree Bikes looking for new bike shoes and pedals. Chuck and the rest of the team at Peachtree bikes were very helpful. Chuck took his time to make sure we each had the right fit and was very patient with all of our questions.

2019-03-23Not good service. After buying a bike from them that cost $4,000 I took it into them with an anjustment that I needed. The guy doing the repairs told me that he didn’t have time for me and that I should go look up how to fix it myself on YouTube. Because of this I bought my next bike form another bike store because I wanted better customer service.

2021-07-29Called looking for training wheels. They said bring bike in and they to make sure are the right ones. They put on training wheels literally two screws and I was like surely this is free because Im buying and they never told me they were going to charge 15 bucks to do.

2018-06-23We went to Peachtree Bikes to be custom-fitted for bikes, and to acquire bikes most suited for purpose (around town and beltline), and the service far exceeded our expectations. Chuck Prince was outstanding in all regards. He quickly guided us towards bikes with frames, tires, and gear counts that were both what Id deem optimal for purpose and for our personal heights and frames. Despite it being a very busy Saturday morning in the shop, he was very patient with us and deft in choosing the right accessories to fit our needs, getting them installed on the bikes, and getting the bikes precisely adjusted to our heights, frames, and comfort. He went the extra mile in illustrating for us how to remove a tire for replacement, and custom packing a tube repair kit for us to attach to the bikes. To top it off he assisted us in carefully loading the bikes into our SUV for individual transports home. If youre looking for a white glove end-to-end experience, this is the place, and Chuck is your guy!
