Pet Supermarket in other cities:
I went into the store today with my dog to pick up a few things that we needed. I was met by an associate who asked if we were here for a bath. After I told her no, she acted as if my dog was not allowed to be in the store. I will add that my dog was not overly disruptive, he was eager but I had clear control over him and therefore not a nuisance. I ended up leaving the store with only one thing I needed because of the way we were treated. There was no clear signage that this store doesn’t allow dogs in to shop. The way I was treated today was enough that I will not be returning to this store, even with its convenience.
These people are all business and no play! The manager was rude when taking about the snakes. She was quick to answer questions and I felt very rushed. Sometimes, it takes time when you are picking a new pet. I feel they are there only to make a sell in the moment and not caring for return customers. I will not be back.
So I often frequent this pet super market. I actually never see the same workers when I go...so I sometimes get knowledgeable folks and other times I dont. I had one worker help me find dog food that would help with my dogs allergies, then when I needed to go back to purchase more, another worker told me exact opposite lol...then I was asked to describe the worker who misinformed me...strange interactions..but atleast everyone is pleasant. Love the variety in treats and toys. So I will give this place 3 stars! Get consistency with info you provide to your customers and you will have my heart ❤
My dog loves to come visit our local pet supermarket on Dallas highway in Marietta. The store always has what we need and the prices are competitive. The associates are always friendly and helpful. Yesterday I came into store 295 and a manager helped me with the price on some cool new Cat Cubes. They are currently half price. My cat LOVES this item! He has been on it or playing in it ever since I brought it home.
Great staff, pricing is incredible. We had no idea what a great place it was until we went inside. The man who helped us was incredibly sweet and super knowledgeable about their products. Also, it’s very awesome to see them working with PetKids to help adopt out their animals (Denim the cat was adorable and so sweet)If you have a pet, or want one, come here. A great and well needed addition to the area!
Store has decent variety in cat products, which is all Im interested in for now. Shout out to Trent to who helped us check out with ~$40 of loose cans in a record time of 3 minutes. Found out he was new to the job after I commented on how great that efficient and peaceful experience was. Usually terrrible customer service, the whole process is inefficient. Bring your own bag/s because they keep them in a drawer until the payment goes through. I checked, the bags arent made of anything special...
The store Manger Franchester was so helpful. They did not have the aquarium salt I needed so she gave me some out of her store bag. She was so awesome best customer service I have ever had in a pet store. Everyone please go pay her a visit... superb customer service 🙏🏻😁😁
My rating is just for the store. This is a nice pet store. The prices are high but not ridiculous. We went to the Vaccination clinic here put on by VIP Petcare. It was brutal. 45 minutes to give my two little babies two shots each and draw blood for heartworm tests. The staff was very poorly trained and not coordinated. My babies are both very good patients and the staff still couldnt draw the blood. They ended up having to tap my 5 1/2 pound Chihuahuas jugular vein to get the blood. My husband was irate and I was beyond frazzled. Our girls are both exhausted and super sore.
Great stock and great staff! Such a wide variety of foods, toys, accessories, you name it-- they got it. Everyone who works there is incredibly friendly and eager to help you. We love the self serving dog wash. Its only $10 and the washing stations are always kept so clean (as opposed to other dog wash stations from other petstores which Ive often found often quite dirty)
The staff is so kind and helpful. The store is very well stocked and has a nice dog bathing area. If you bring in children they can be treated to holding the bunnies and petting a ferret. The birds and fish cages are all at kid height. They have dragons, tree frogs, and turtles. The prices are comparable and they have a frequent shopper program. Its worth a stop.
Update 11-8-2020I have watched this store go through DOZENS of staff changes. From problems with professionalism while working to staff not working at all. I have had great experiences and VERY poor ones. I typically shop here once a week and spend about $80 each time over the last 2 years. Todays visit was RIDICULOUS! Myself and another customer waited for the doors to be unlocked this morning. Then when trying to use the dog wash its covered in hair, the mats for the dogs to sit on are balled up behind the towels bin and filthy. I spray down a station, and start washing my dog. I went to grab a towel because there we no aprons AGAIN for customers to protect their cloths, and no towels are there. I asked an associate and he said he would check but returned saying no towels were clean. He advised he would have to wash towels but before he could start got side tracked and started showing kittens for adoption. I left my wet dog there walked around to find the manager and was told she would have to prepare towels.I washed both my dogs and the manager stopped by to tell me she was confirming I wasnt finished because she was washing towels. I stated I didnt think they would be ready by the time I finished. After washing both dogs and slipping on the soaked floor I was beyond upset. They had pink extreme odor shampoo in the sensitive oatmeal bottle so I had to use my own shampoo on top of everything.I was so annoyed, wet and dirty I walked up to the register and asked her to meet me. I hoped she would have tried to make it right but instead changed me full price. I set $20 on the counter and when she asked if I had an account with them I replied give my credit to whoever account you want. She started to say sorry but by this time I told her she missed the point and to me it was too late to apologize. As I walked out I thought of canceling my membership and writing this review. It doesnt make me feel any better to write a bad review and it certainly doesnt change my experience. Most days I wish the staff from years ago was still there 😕 ....Sad to say but Amazon is quickly becoming my new preferred pet store and I may start driving the extra 10 miles for a Petsmart self dog wash.Original Post -Amazing & loving staff makes you and your pet feel like family #marybethninolovesyou!
I have worked here before a long time ago in TX. I had just gotten a new puppy and went to this store location. The girl upfront was pretty friendly to me, and she loved my puppy so much. She help me find some food for him and other puppy necessities. I would recommend that some the staff touch up on their knowledge of dog food however. If you’re looking for any kind of pet supplies, pet supermarket tends to be a bit more expensive but you can’t go wrong with their quality. They are known for their healthy food options available, and have a wide variety of different toys. If you’re looking for A cheaper price elsewhere, I would recommend going to Petsmart or Walmart.
Ever since Franchester left the store had gone downhill. Recently going to the store right before closing to get emergency dog food I was not met with Quality customer service. Being told “we are closed”, when in fact you were not closed, by the new manager was extremely rude.
This place has great staff, very helpful, but....they dont carry a lot of what I would consider basic care items, like the dry out medicine for dogs ears.. I was so excited when I saw a pet store coming in this shopping center, but w the exception of an e collar, they havent carried any of the items Ive needed for my fur babies. I went in there looking for medicated soap for my dog, and the dry up medicine for my dogs ears and they didnt carry either item. So I have to stick w chewy. I do love the bathing center they have for dogs tho, and they have dryers and all the pet soap , except medicated for free use w these tubs. I wont give up on this store tho, maybe theyll start carrying these items. I enjoy eating at AJs right beside it, and watching all the dogs walk by going into the pet store..
I loved this supermarket in East Cobb! I bought Veggie Sausage treats, purina products (food add ons) were on sale, and bones for my fur baby! He loved everything! I would recommend this store for cheaper deals than PetSmart or PetCo. There were a lot of products available for pets which I had never imagined would have existed.
Ive been coming to this location since it opened, and only 1 time did they have rats, and only small ones at that. My snakes have been starving for months now, because I have been trying to make do with small mice. If coming here for lager reptiles, I dont recommend this place at all. Maybe one day they will but until then this review will stay.
Frustrating! Ive been a loyal customer (same store) for several years. I went into the store to buy dog food last week and the product was out of stock. I was told buy the employees a delivery was expected and to CALL the store in a few days, which I have. However, when I call the store repeatedly no one picks up the phone even though the automated phone greeting has an option to speak to an employee it rolls to voice-mail. Poor customer service, lost sale and maybe a customer forever.

2022-04-04I usually have good experiences with this store but I’m not coming back again. Came to buy another bag of cat food. Out of curiosity, I checked the expiration date on the first bag I grabbed because it was super dusty when I picked it up. Turns out, an entire row of my cat’s specific brand of dry food was EXPIRED earlier this year. This really isn’t acceptable given the size of the store and number of employees I saw. Please be cautious when purchasing any pet food here.

2020-02-23This place started out as a decent establishment. However, in January of 2020 I went there to grab my dogs food and noticed something pink in the birds enclosure. When I got closer to the birds area I saw budgie (parakeet) chicks without any food available and only dirty water. I notified the preoccupied worker (on his phone), and I didnt leave until he placed food and water for the bird with chicks. Ive called the Georgia department of agriculture as well and filed a complaint. After that incident, I visited the store several times to find the bird with chicks without food and only dirty water available. I no longer patron this location.

2022-02-19Customer service was trash. My husband and I walked in with our new puppy and we weren’t greeted as we walked through the door. They looked up, made eye contact with us and continued their conversation. However, a white woman walked in right after us and both of them, the young man and the older woman both greeted her out loud and continued their conversation. When I called for my husband, who walked ahead of me, she then turned to greet me. We still decided to leave.

2021-10-19Must give props! Amanda the assistant manager at this location is really top-notch! I made a special request for a particular toy for my dog no, only one in their store on the shelf. She went the extra mile and found the quantity of toys that I requested. Went above and beyond stopped in another location on her way to work and pick these up for me! I was absolutely delighted, she is really a super representative of great customer service! Way to go Amanda you are above and beyond really terrific service oh, I will definitely be back.

2017-11-03Brand new location, things are still being put on the shelf for their grand opening on Saturday, November 3rd, 2017.Staff are super friendly, the selection here is great. They have tons of options for food and treats and have fish and hamsters for adoption. They have a much larger selection than the other big box stores giving you more options between cheap and higher quality toys and treats for your dog or cat. The prices are also far better for the same toys as other locations have. Absolutely the best pet store Ive ever been to. From now on Ill be seeking out Pet Supermarket everytime, and they are in a super convenient location.

2021-07-18Went to this store today for my dogs bi-monthly bath and treats and had great service from Isiah. Also met the new assistant manager, Amanda, who was very helpful in locating some items and gave me some information on some new treat options for my dog. Store was clean as were the bathing stations.
