I absolutely love this place! The previous location (The prada) was a bit cramped and difficult to get into, but the new place is awesome! The staff is top notch as well! Theyre there for you when you need them, but wont hover around the entire time. I went in for a new pair of sunglasses and each and every person was helpful and kind (even with our 2 wild kids running around!) This is my go-to for snowboard and other outdoor gear and should be yours as well!
Best experience ever. After an absolutely awful experience at Rocky Mountain we came here. Duncan was super helpful and immediately started fitting us for boots. He molded them to our feet too And helped us pick up good skis for ability. He took his time and was very friendly. The complete opposite experience from RM. we will definitely come here for all our ski needed from now on.
You hesitate when see a ski/snowboard store in Georgia wondering if the staff are knowledgeable when buying gear but these guys really do know their stuff. Derek helped find the perfect boots, board, and bindings combination after I asked an extreme amount of questions. Hes been on the slopes for over 25 years and still continues to go and keep up with the gear. Even after reading an endless amount of forums and reviews trying to make a decision his first hand knowledge really helped steer me in the right direction. You should definitely head here if youre considering buying new gear.

Great service. I was fitted for new boots and Mark recommended and fit me with some great boots. They were also able to get my bindings mounted in less than a day!
Super friendly and very knowledgeable staff. I stopped by for boot fitting with a particular boot already in mind. The guy who helped me suggested I try a few others and I’m glad I did. Found the perfect boot for me. I also really appreciated their patience as I made my selection - they weren’t too pushy. I highly recommend this store. *side note - I was considering purchasing from a large online ski gear retailer and glad I stayed local for an amazing personalized experience.

Top ski shop in the Atlanta area. Huge selection and knowledgeable staff. Went in to have my fiancé fitted for her first non-rental ski boots and Bill spent an hour finding the perfect boot while educating us on the process.Here’s where Bill earned my future business: Decided not to buy that day and didn’t get pushed out the door or receive any attitude like at another local shop. I’ll be back to pick up those boots, custom footbeds, and all future ski gear needs.
My wife and I traveled to Peter Glenn from Birmingham, AL. We dont have a local ski shop, so a friend recommended Peter Glenn. We couldnt be happier! Weve skied plenty of times before, but this is our first time to actually own skis. Patrick was incredibly patient, knowledgeable, and helpful in guiding us through the process. He took his time to genuinely listen to us and guided us based on what he understood would make our next ski trip that much better. We were especially grateful for Patricks skill and precision in fitting ski boots (a process that is complex, but the end result was a personally fitted boot!) Hoseanna at the front desk was also incredibly hospitable and helpful. All in all we are lifetime customers and could not be more satisfied. Great customer service from very knowledgable staff!! Doug and Duncan took care of all my needs and helped fit me with the perfect pair of Fischer ski boots! I have very narrow feet and can be hard to fit. These boots are so comfortable and fit me like a glove after their expert modifications! I cant wait to get these on the mountain! Dont waste your time down the street at the other ski shop...go where they actually appreciate your business.
My first place there. Very welcoming shop and the team knows its business and gives you its best shopwhen recommending ski package based on your level. I love the place. Prices can be competitive with what you find on the net for skis and boots. $99 for ski poles is maybe too much(usually around $40-50 is reasonable and ski clothing high quality but high prices too. A nice shop to go anyway with great selection.
Great Service. Though Im not from Atlanta, I was there for work for a couple of days. My local ski shop in Asheville said they would need 1-2 weeks lead time to mount bindings as I was heading back out west within a week of my new Skis/Bindings arriving. I called Peter Glenn Ski & Sport. They said they could mount them and wax them in two days. 44 hours later, I was good to go. Huge Thanks. Great service and cheaper than Asheville.
Best ski shop Ive found in Atlanta. Staff is knowledgeable and available every time I go. The prices are a little high, but the products are high quality and the selection is great for Atlanta. I always end up there before sending a kid out on a ski or snowboard trip, and always get good equipment and advice. Vastly better than the competition.
Pat is the man! (And Im not just saying that bc we have the same name) I just moved back from Breckenridge this past year, and I was looking for a good ski shop in the Atlanta area. Not only did they far exceed my expectations, but I also just bought a pair of one of my most sought after skis yesterday. Most of the stores still have these particular pair on preorder, but Peter Glenn had them in stock before anywhere else.Not only do they carry products in their store that shops in Vail/Breckenridge/Beaver Creek would kill to get their hands on, but Pat and his colleagues have a great deal of knowledge about skiing/boarding. If youre looking for a place to help you with your setup on your next ski trip, this is THE place to go.
My family visited Peter Glenn to pick up snowboard and ski gear along with a few other items for the upcoming ski season. The staff was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. Peter Glenn was working on ski sizing with my son and came out with some colorful skis that make my sons eyes light up. He fell in love and those were the ones we came home with. Peter also shared some great advice with my husband on how he can control his skis better on the slopes, so hes looking forward to improving his skills this year!Not only were the staff great to work with but the selection is awesome!! They definitely cater to snow sport lovers with everything you could think of to have an incredible time on the slopes and apres ski!! I could spend hours there looking at everything they have!!
We are in Birmingham and not having a local ski shop, we found ourselves at Peter Glenn when visiting Atlanta one weekend. What a great find! Patrick helped us find some better gloves than we had been using, and he has been most helpful since with other items and general advice. Great for those like us that do ski, but still very novice when it comes to the best attire and equipment. Thanks for all the great help Patrick!

Everything you need for skiing and snowboarding. Employees are very nice and are definitely there to help you with whatever you need. Things can be somewhat pricey but that goes along with the sport and what do you expect from a ski store in GA? But they are cheaper then their competitor up the street.
Staff were nice and a good selection of products. However, my recent experience was disappointing and frustrating. I broughy my skis and ski bindings to be mounted here, however, they put a different pair of bindings rather than the one I brought in. And when I noticed that and came back, we found my bindings were still sitting in the bag I brought with. So they had to remove the wrong bindings and put mine on. Though they were reusing the holes on the skis, but I dont know whether it is tide enough. And when I was on the slopes the next week, my skis made constant squeaky noise. I even dont know whether I should have safety concerns. It was frustrated that I made all the efforts to find skis I like, buy bindings to match my brand new skis, bring it in to be nounted, and they kind of mess it up.
Walked in last week to buy a complete new assortment of ski gear. I needed boots, skis, pants, jackets, etc.. they seem to be the only kjus dealer in town so I went over on a Saturday afternoon. the store was dead and not one sales person in the 30 minutes I was there offered to help me. I asked one person about sizing for a product and she was clueless. even when walking out the door, not even the counter manager said thanks for coming or bye. I went to rocky mountain and dropped $5k on all new ski wear.
BEST place to get all winter sports clothes.Prices at PG are similar to what youll find online.Good quality clothes but really the service was amazing. Martha was very knowledgeable and took her time with us, and she was of tremendous help picking out our clothes. From convenience to style, she knew what to get us! She was also a former ski racer and she gave us many tips... you wont get the same experience online...
What a disappointment and waste of time. I just left the store because the man in the ski/board area was too busy talking with his friend. His friend and I entered the store at the same time. He helped his friend regarding his snow board and then he just kept talking to him, about his new baby, the slopes... I was never acknowledged. I stood in front of the ski and ski boots for 25 mins before leaving and telling the girl at the desk why. The employee did see me, only he choose not to even say give me a minute. I was there to buy skis, boots, poles and travel bags. It was easily a $1000 sale. Just a simple hi would have sufficed until he was done chatting. I have worked customer service for many years, I understand you cant be there immediately always, but come on, just a little consideration would be nice.
Wow! We needed some direction for choosing ski clothes for our first time trip. We needed the best quality at the lowest price. Clare met us at the door with a smile late on a Saturday afternoon. She did not hesitate. She dove right in to our needs! Clare was patient, kind, yet strong! She was very experienced. She was not high pressure. Clare was not in a rush to get to the next customer. Clare was fully present with us for at least an hour! She got outside the box in order to create value for us. After we paid, she was interested in our story and listened intently. Clare was engaging. She served us well. Clare gave us dignity as customers and as humans. I love this girl! Amazing to have someone like her on your staff. Thank you Peter Glenn.
Great prices on sporting goods and apparel. The sales staff know their stuff! If you need ski equipment, this is definitely the place to go. You will get honest information on the right equipment for you, without the high pressure sales tactics.
My husband has wide feet, and we went to look for new ski boots to rent or buy since its been years since we last went. The first salesman tried a single boot, then simply ignored us. Another salesman tried to help out when he saw that, but after measuring my husbands foot at 109 said they didnt make a boot big enough. We asked about custom, he looked online and came back to tell us that no manufacturer made a boot that could be made wide enough below thousands of dollars. We left convinced that my husband wouldnt be able to ski this year, and maybe not ever again. We tried another local ski shop, and they not only could fit my husband, but had multiple pairs of boots in stock that he could try. We bought boots last night, and that store won my business for life. I canceled my rental skis with Peter Glenn, and I will not ever be back. I encourage you not to go either, especially if you have any kind of foot problem or fit needs.

Anything you want for fun in the snow. Selection is huge and awesome, prices range from $$-$$$$, which is standard. We caught a sale and got ski pants for a very good price. They also have extended sizes, which you never get in store! This is the place to go for snow!

I visited for bootsfitting and technician Omar was very knowledgeable and friendly. Originally, I was going to buy the boots myself but ended up buying another for my girlfriend because the service was just on point. I honestly dont see a big price difference from online stores. 2022-03-02I visited Peter Glenn because I have a challenging fit for ski boots - rentals just dont work for me. I was fitted in a rear entry Savor Atomic and couldnt be happier. My sales person (Peter H) made sure I sat with the boot for a while for the shell to mold and even offered insoles for my high arch. I spent 5 days on the slopes and the boots were PERFECT. Very happy with the service, fit, and patience of the staff at Peter Glenn.

2022-01-22I purchased a pair of ski boots at the Sandy Springs location in preparation for my very first ski trip. I have very wide calves and was concerned about rentals fitting. After about and hour, I left with a pair of Atomic Savor 75 in size 26.5. During my very first day of ski school, I learned that my boots were way too loose around my foot, which is not something that can be adjusted on the atomic rear entry boot. Being that it was my first time I did not understand how tightly they really needed to fit. Looking back, I get very pressured to get the boots since “it was the only way to fit my legs - to get a size up”. I had little control of my skis and now, after 3 days of school, understand how tight they need to be. I got re-sized and a shop at the mountain and they told me I needed to be in a 25. I communicated to the fitter that it was only tight at the calf where the binding was - not at my foot. I’m disappointed with my experience as a beginner with a challenging fit and don’t think I’ll be trusting a Peter Glenn location with boots again.The overall selection of gear and boots was great which is why they get to stars, but I feel very much that you have to understand what it is you need when it comes to boot fitting at this location.

2022-01-15I was making my first snowboarding trip after years of being out if it, so I needed new boots. Shawn (Sean?) helped me find the right pair. He was super relatable, friendly, and had the perfect demeanor for a ski/snowboard shop. The rest of the staff was all excellent as well.

2022-01-10Would not recommend coming here, I came in to buy a snowboard and the young man working in the snowboard section spent 25 minutes speaking about real estate to another person when there were 2 customers waiting for him.. The customer service is just not there. I left to Rocky Mountain Ski and Board. The service there is second to none. It is a totally different experience. If you go ask for Keith! He knows his stuff.

2022-01-23I would totally recommend coming here! Rocky Mountain was no help to my husband and I. They had no clue what my husband needed for snowboards and gear. We walked into Peter Glenn and Vince was amazing to us! He took his time and was so patient with my husband and I. We really appreciated his customer service and the level of knowledge he had. 2021-11-13Im always a kid in the candy store at Peter Glenn. Mark was very helpful for the entire family to find the perfect goggles and gloves. Lots of options and great pricing on top brands. The parking in the new location was limited.
