Expensive but so delicious.The garlic butter crabs are so good and so is the huge garlic butter mussels.

Update 2: Still my favorite seafood takeout place, but sometimes they gave me unwanted loose crab legs and too much oil/juice. Since the price is based on weight, we ended up paying more without necessarily having more food.——————————————————————————Update: we went back again the other day. Their garlic crab is the best among all I’ve had. I’ve been to many seafood takeout places in the area, and no one else is at the same caliber when it comes to garlic crab.——————————————————————My husband and I went there tonight for the first time. We are impressed. The owner (I assume the cashier is the owner) is super friendly. He greeted us, exchanged small talks with me and packed our food very well.I got blue crab and my husband got No. 1 on the menu. Both look very clean and are delicious!
OMG!!!!!! I just came back from here. This is my first time eating from them. I read the reviews and they all had something good to say about them. But, lawd!!, When I ate the crab rice and fried oysters!!, It was Awesome!!!! You have to go and try them yourself. I’m sorry, Nancy’s, Bobo’s, David’s, Bradley’s. Good food. The only complaint I have is I just wanted taste test a shrimp. They told me no. If I liked it I would have bought some. I had already bought a meal so I wasnt trying to get free food.
The wife is very mean. The husband has a better attitude then her. She snatches your money out your hand and then puts your change on the counter. I told her no butter because they already used too much season and when I got home she put it on all of my items. I will not spend another $40 in their again I will take my business elsewhere. She needs to appreciate her customers more and listen To them. Being polite will help and She needs to learn not to snatch people hardworking money that they paying to help keep your business open... They are overpriced and the amount of food they give u does not add up with your dollars... take your business elsewhere like on Montgomery street to David Crabhouse, East Henry to Bradley Crabhouse, or on Bay st to Nancy seafood they are cheaper and have great customer service
Really good seafood here, especially for the location. I have to day that they are right up there with Jackies. There peel and eat shrimp is amazing!
A super staff, and the food was better than I expected. Manager was off the chain. He visited each table and ensured every thing was a okay.

This is my go to place for fried oysters and spicy garlic shrimp. The oysters are fried perfectly, not overly breaded and still juicy. My children and I consider it a crime to go through Garden City and not stop. Highly recommended carry-out spot.
Having never been to a place like this before I had no idea what they sold or what to expect. The girl working was very nice and answered all my questions, I honestly had about 2-3 per item on the menu and she didnt get annoyed even once. It was almost an hour before I even ordered... I was able to sample some items as well so that helped a lot. I ended up getting fried fish, fried shrimp, fries, shrimp fried rice, hush puppies, and garlic butter conch. It was all pretty good but fried food is fried food you know? The conch was REALLY good and they also had other flavors which I was allowed to try. The fried rice was actually really good, Ive eaten fried rice from 100s of places before and it always tastes the same or has no taste at all, I cant explain it but this rice was different and really good!!Overall I will be going here again, I realize its just another seafood market that sells fresh seafood and also will cook it for you but I thoroughly enjoyed my experience so whatever. ;)
First time going there. Crab rice, shrimp, oysters was on point. The sauce that you get with your meal was on point.
My husband stopped by to make a purchase of crabs, shrimp, and fish for several curry dishes I plan to make today. This was our first visit to this establishment as we wanted to give them a try. My husband asked the male behind the counter a few questions, and as he relayed his answers to me over the phone so that I could make a decision, he stepped aside to allow another customer behind him to go ahead. The male behind the counter responded impatiently as if he couldn’t be bothered. Even the other customer confirmed that he’s normally impatient that way. He then disappeared to the back without getting back to my husband. After that rude display, he left without making a purchase and we will not return. We’ll stick to our usual tried and true, Woods.

This is literally the only review Ive ever written, but I felt like this place deserved a review. Im in town for business and decided to try Peters because it was close to my hotel. I got the fried tilapia and shrimp plate. The ladies were super friendly and joked around with me about what I wanted. Only waited about 5 min for my food, which was piping hot. I got back to the hotel and dug in. This was the best fried shrimp Ive ever had. Hands down. Great seasoning on the fries, and the tilapia was also amazing. There were about 15 medium sized shrimp, two tilapia filets, and a generous portion of fries. All for $11. Im stuffed and I WILL be stopping by Peters again on my way of out town. Great place.
They put a little bit more on your plate for carry out pretty decent food
Food was fried to hard with no taste was given one tartar sauce for a oyster and shrimp dinner French frieds where cold and was charged a dollar for two more

I went here for fried Conch, South Florida / Bahamian stlye, (tenderized-white in texture), what they had was something different. LOL, i ordered the fried Tilapia/Shrimp..this i recognized. Food was decent, however, the gentlemen up front was nickeln and dimen another customer regarding who just spent $40, for hot sauce to go..i did bother to ask for an additional tater sauce beside the ONE that came with the meal, although food was decent... I will try another place next time.

2022-06-16I just realized the the “seafood eggs” are eggs saturated in old grease and crumbs from the fryer !!! How disgusting is that? I bit into a chard piece thinking it was seasoning. After taking a whiff of the “seafood sauce” my fears were confirmed. Grease straight from the bottom of the fryer, coffee can, glass jar or wherever it’s stored. I’m assuming everything there is repurposed now. (The yellow pieces aren’t season, it’s egg yolk from the eggs I regretfully consumed)

Im not from this city,but was in the area for a month working, I ate here almost everyday (seafood freak)..🤤😋 the food was great to me...the seasoning..food temp..lemonade..Customer service everything was wonderful 🤞🤞🏽I live 3 hours and a half away and have driven there a couple of times after the fact just to enjoy some good seafood...its hard to get quality & quantity together and this is it...

2022-03-18I went in to try their crab rice. It was expensive, but I expected as much. Unfortunately there was very little visible crab in the rice and there was absolutely no crab flavor at all. I would have payed double just to have some good and savory crab rice.

2022-02-10I was in town for a concert and my hubby and I decided to try this place. I got shrimp and rice with shrimp. It was delicious and the portions were large. You get your monies worth!

2020-10-28I lived across the street from this place for years never tried it. I was a die hard Nancys customer. My daughter suggested them, and I was reluctant. Let me tell you! Sorry Nancys, they have the best garlic crabs ever! Tasty, meaty and delicious! First time, I tried them, they were out of garlic crabs. They were cooking a fresh batch, and we waited a hour. It was worth the wait! I will see yall this week need some seafood!
