Excellent store, we went to get some toys for the new puppies. Ended up getting alot more then we intended due to them have a sale. They have anything you would need for any domestic animals. We will definitely come back. The staff was able to answer any questions we had about shots, deworming medications, and other things.
Petsmart on Bradley Park Dr. in Columbus Ga. is the only place I shop for my two Shelties Blakely & Beau. I love how the associates throughout the store up to checkout acknowledges my two fur babies! Great customer service, knowledgeable and friendly. It is obvious how much the employees love their job here. The Grooming Salon rocks!! This is a big plus to me!
Grooming dept not the store.Beware of the groomers!! My mother has a senior poodle (15) who peed on the floor upon arrival (a dog peed on the floor before she did as well). The other groomer was super annoyed and rudely stated that they wouldn’t be able to cut her hair if she continued to pee on the floor. She had a 12pm appt and had a pick up time of around 4. At 4 my mother returned Megan stated that she called and texted mother. My mother showed Megan that she didn’t get a phone call or text. Megan stated that she wouldn’t finish her hair bc she was biting. My mom has never had any complaints abt biting during a haircut so I can only assume their grumpy demeanor matches their groomer style. Now we have to find someone to finish the job...we wont be returning....
I was profiled yesterday as someone trying to commit fraud because I wanted to use a virtual gift card that I received for Christmas. I made two visits yesterday , the first manager had no problem doing it for me. The second visit the manager was extremely rude making comments to me about fraud and looking me up and down . I was so embarrassed because she did this in front of another cashier and i had someone behind me. I was so so embarrassed. I made a report to corporate waiting for them to contact.
This place is a ripoff and do not honor the Kong warranty! The main reason I even buy Kong, was because of the sales person assured me they would replace it if it broke. Cashier was very friendly and was being very helpful. Then another employee comes up from no where saying without a receipt to prove it had only been 60 days since I bought the product they could do nothing for me. This was not what I was told when I bought the more expensive products! Nothing but lies. Will NEVER shop here again!
Today when I picked up my dog I was told that he kept moving his face around so she could not cut his hair with out messing it up. If you are the professional groomer then you should know what you do or how to handle a dog that moves his head. This is not his first time getting his hair cut at petsmart.
My mother took my dog to get groomed, as she normally does when she is keeps him for me. This time when he returned home, he had a cut behind his ear (the same ear that was severed at a Pet Smart in Douglasville, Ga), with blood stains in his fur. When I called to speak with the manager of the store Alyssa, she told me she would investigate, to send her pictures, and she would call me when she found out more from the person who groomed him. Needless to say, that was a week and a half ago and I hadn’t heard from her until I called and left a message for her myself. She returned my call and left a message with nothing but EXCUSES. I just don’t understand how this could happen a second time, in a totally different city! I dont think these people really understand how important our pets are to us. My dog is a house dog so of course hes not rough or wild. He couldnt have gotten it anywhere else besides when he was groomed. I noticed it a day or so after, when I was petting and rubbing my fingers through his mane, and called them immediately. How irresponsible of Pet Smart!!!!!!!!!!!!! He will NEVER get groomed there again, or any other Pet Smart!!! They don’t care about you or your pet, they only want your money!!!!!! They NEVER take ownership!!!!!! If you love your pet, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Don’t say that you weren’t warned.
Came to get my dog groomed this morning. After for waiting 15 minutes after our scheduled appointment time they wouldn’t see her because her rabies tag wasn’t the proof they wanted to confirm her status. No where on the site does it say you need to bring in your dogs paperwork in order for her to be seen, just proof, and I figured her tag would be proof enough. And of course I rushed home trying to find it but the window of time I was given to come back wasn’t going to be ample enough to get it and return. I’ll take my dog elsewhere to be serviced where rules and regulations are CLEARLY stated.
Took my dog here to get groomed paid for all the extra add ins and didn’t get what I expected at all. My dog stunk and his paws was still dirty. I paid for teeth cleaning and my dogs teeth still had the same dirt he had prior to getting his teeth clean so I ended up giving him a bath when we got home and cleaned his own teeth. I’ll be finding another grooming salon for my fur baby!
Went in for some things to foster 2 pinkie squirrels. Found a young lady filled with information. What a relief. Even gave us a web site to visit. All rehabs for squirrels were full. Got the right info from the right place. We fostered 2 and released them this spring. They return every now and then for a visit. Thanks for the help
Hi, first of all let me say that I am not trying to get anyone in trouble. The only problem I have with the store is the prices on stuff. I spent over 280.00 just for a blanket a bag of food , dog bowls and a container to hold the food. I just adopted my dog and I was told that this was the place to go. I want what’s best for my dog but after I left I came home got on line with other stores and found products that were the same but for less . The staff were great . Check out was fine but the problem is that we all don’t have 50 to 60 dollars to spend on a little bag of food . My new dog is 165 pounds and one bag of the good stuff will only last for a few days. I am trying to get his weight down and work with the vet but this is hard to do when prices are that high.
NEVER GOING BACK TO THIS STORE/GROOMER AGAIN!!!! They messed up my dogs grooming and the manager in the grooming salon was rude to me while I explained he had ANXIETY with groomers/vet and said that if he didn’t calm down within a half hour they wouldn’t groom him. Got the phone call they had completed his hair cut and to come pick him up. I get there and they had almost shaved him to less than an inch of hair (mind you he is a border collie/Bernard mix) so the haircut looks horrible on him. Fast forward to now ever since getting him back from the groomers day one he started I obsessively itching and chewing at his coat/skin and now has multiple hotspots and bald spots from you guessed it MANGE the only new change to his routine as we don’t go to dog parks and only other animal contact he has is our neighbors dog through a fence was the groomers at petsmart so now on top of a rude and DISRESPECTFUL staff you guys obviously don’t clean. Yup NEVER bringing my dog and telling friends and family members to avoid your stores like the plague.
Large selection of Everything. Large selection and Alot of customers that pick the isles clean. Dog Salon on site. All pets welcome on leash. Weekends you find locals setting up a spot to sell or give puppies n kittens to good home.For me, its the entertainment is the people that baby talk their dogs w $100 of chews n toys. The best attraction by far are the crazy cat ladies that have a full basket, overflowing w cheap cat food bc they have way too many cats and they usually have 3 shirts on.
Good morning. I created an appointment online which is convenient for me. I pulled up curbside and checked in at 10:25am. My appointment was at 10:30am. When no one showed up at 10:40am I called. I was advised someone would be out. Still no one showed up. I brought my puppy inside at 10:50am just to be told that having an appointment does y matter. I will not be doing business with PetSmart in Columbus, Ga again. Very poor customer service.
This is only about the pet grooming, not the store . DO NOT BRING YOUR PETS HERE. very lazy and unprofessional groomers. Brought in both of my dogs ( a poodle and a pitbull), they refused to do service on the poodle due to “tangled hair”. They accepted the pitbull but i was called back within less than 10 minutes to pick him back up. Their excuse was that he was “moving around too much” when they attempted to cut his nails. This is false information because nail cutting wasn’t even included in what i had paid for. They also claimed that he did not allow them to bathe him. It would be nearly impossible for them to bathe and cut his nails in the amount of time he was in there. My dog has been to SEVERAL other professional grooming places and has had no problems whatsoever. My dogs are very friendly and work very well with people, my dogs would never try to hurt anyone unless they had a very good reason. .The groomers simply did not want to deal with a larger dog. While we were in the lobby, we were able to experience the poor treatment of one of the dogs being groomed. He was being pulled and talked to very harshly. This is while customers were there, so i cannot imagine how they treat them while not being watched. My dog ran out of there as fast as he could when we picked him up. I cannot begin to imagine what he experienced while being in there for no longer than 10 minutes. Please do not waste your time or money. DO NOT BRING THEM HERE TO GET GROOMED. Listen to the reviews telling you that this place is horrible and very unprofessional.
Im impressed with petsmart. They have everything but prices are up there. Employees are very knowledgeable and this is the only place we have bought healthy fish. We bought nine fish here last year and all have survived except for 1. Masks are currently required to enter. They will provide one if you dont have one with you
I got my cats nails done for the first time. They were long and she absolutely destroyed a scratch post the day I got it for her. I really want to thank Samantha for taking such good care of her and the entire grooming team in general for answering all of my questions as a first time full pet parent and getting a cats nails trimmed. They were so sweet and patient and understood I was nervous about it. Samantha doted on my cat and treated her so gently that I had nothing really to fear. She did exactly as I asked and made sure she did it as I wanted it-- I have a hard time articulating and conveying my thoughts, so this was really nice to have someone take the time to understand what I wanted.I generally have really good experiences at this store and I highly recommend it to any pet parent in the area who wants great grooming services and even more amazing people.I dont leave reviews ever, but they have completely knocked my socks off on how wonderful and kind they were.
This about the groomers specifically. Made an appointment for my dog to be groomed and various things, was called in early. When we dropped the dog we where told he was panting to much to stay despite during his nail reduction being perfectly fine. However the employee told on herself by saying she got off soon. So please do not waste peoples time.
Called and advised I was there for a pickup order, waited 20 minutes and no one came out so called again, waited another 15 minutes no one came out with order. Went inside and they had 7 people in line with only one person working the register and three other employees walking around aimlessly. One employee was signing on to the register but it took her about 10 minutes because she had to stop and talk to someone first. Wouldnt recommend the order pick up, faster to just go in.
(IF YOU WANT TO GET YOUR DOG GROOMED READ THIS FIRST!) I scheduled an appointment ahead of time 5pm, they called asking if I can bring her in earlier I arrived around 3:30 ish. My dog has been groomed before and she’s very well behaved around other people especially new people, I believe her groomer (Christel) just didn’t want to deal with all her fur (due to her being a husky). They told me the price before I left and told me it’d take “3 hours” to finish her appointment. 30 minutes to “starting” (doesn’t look like they did ANYTHING) they called me saying she was under “too much stress”to come back and get her. Wouldn’t recommend and definitely won’t be coming back. GET SOME NEW GROOMERS!Here’s an update the next day after being told she couldn’t get groomed by PETSMART, I got her groomed by Wags to Riches, they’re the way to go! She wasn’t “under too much stress”. PETSMART was just lazy. Don’t get a job you know your not gonna give your all.
I took my fur baby to get a bath... I asked him how long it was going to take and they said about 3-4 hours..So I said okay just call me when hes ready Im going to be in town... About 40 minutes later I get three different phone calls in Texts telling me that my dog is ready and come pick him up... After the first phone call I told him that it was waiting to get my second vaccine and then I had to wait here for a certain amount of time 20 minutes and as soon as my time was over I would be headed that way to get him
I realize that they are probably understaffed, however, bare minimum expectations are that the animals are kept alive (or at least someone monitors them enough to notice if they are sick or DEAD). We came in to get cat food, and saw several dead betta fish. Then we went to the small animals and saw a dead gerbil. We notified someone and left without the cat food.
We just got our first pet, a guinea pig! The help here was amazing. The associate who helped us went over food, bedding, cages, life expectancy and giving our pet the attention it needs to have a good life. He was very knowledgeable and we felt comfortable leaving with our new pet. We visited once before actually getting him and the store was clean and everyone was super helpful.
The store is your average petsmart. The only complaint is that every single fish I have gotten from here has had intestinal parasites and died while in my quarantine tank. They let you replace a fish if it dies, and after a few they make you bring in a water sample to test. My water parameters were perfect and fish purchased from another pet store made it through quarantine and are thriving in my main tank. Definitely dont recommend for fish. Their adoption programs/training programs and pet food availability is pretty good though.
I went to buy a cat here about a month ago, and the there was this beautiful cat there that I just fell in love with, but on its information card it said that the cat was Sl*ttish... I dont know what that is supposed to mean, but I did NOT buy that cat.I really hope that it finds a happy home...They also were out of all birbs, but the snakes were cool.
If your an animal lover and you want to buy your furry friend some toys, treats, bedding, housing, grooming supplies, etc. Then just take him/her with you to PetSmart and the employees will great you and your animal companion/companions with open arms, big smiles, and a knowledge of what you are in need of. 👍🏼👍🏼
First time visiting PetsSmart my wife made an appointment for our Australian Shepard to get a bath and I have to say I was very pleased with the dog bath he received. I will highly recommend this place to friends and family also I will continue to use petsmart for all my future pet needs...
They did an amazing job! Answering all my questions, showing me where things were and what was best for my pup! They were recommending different things for him as well. Things they see that are better in quality I guess you could say! I will definitely show my face and my pups face here again!
Amazing helpful staff. Love coming here for all our pet needs. My son is autistic and every time we come for 🐹 hamster bedding they always take the time to help him find the perfect treat for his baby Snowball. We will see yall soon. We usually have good service from the reptile section. However, we needed a specific dog product that was out of stock. Not all employees go out of their way to help in retail stores these days. However, Chris particularly, did a great job taking care of the customers and ensuring the customer had what they needed before they left the store. For that, I would highly recommend.
I took Zoey today for grooming, the groomer told me she will need to shave her body, because she was too tangled. I mean she is a poodle, of course she gets knots. I took her home and decided to make an appointment somewhere else. Gave her a bath and brush all her knots in less than 35 minutes, until I wait for her appointment next week. Be careful lazy grooming technicians, if I took her word Zoey would have finished bald.
I had an issue recently with a return due to covid. I received an email asking about my visit a week or so later and I shared my recent negative experience with the PetsMart employees I dealt with. The store manager immediately called me and corrected the problem and made things right. She was very professional and understanding and wanted me to be satisfied. She even found me when I was in the store and carried my large item to the car for me. Great customer experience 😊 Thank you Alissa!
I just needed an aquarium filter. The staff was courteous and friendly. They had exactly what I needed and a pretty decent selection. I found it on their website for a lower price and the store matched it. I could only be happier with my visit if they were paying me to take the filter or if they handed me a winning lotto ticket prior to my exit. Unfortunately, the only people who pay me to show up is my job and I cant win my own money back on a lottery, let alone a big jackpot. 🤷♂️
Always spend too much. Customer service great. Howevet I dont know about management. Without cashiers management would be nothing. Cashier was helping me and a manager i guss but not much of one smarted off at her for helping me . #1 rule if you got a complaint about a worker do so privately. Never chastise anyone for doing their job
The grooming services are heavily impacted by the cumbersome and outdated software. More time is spent waiting for the manager to assist the associates with the computers. Compound that with needing to use a cash register in the store for payment and the whole experience is time consuming and frustrating.
I cant remember ever having a bad experience here. The employees have always been helpful and approachable. The prices are a little higher on some items you can find in other stores, but its not that big of a deal. They have a cat adoption center that, for the most part, is kept pretty clean. Local shelters bring adoptable pets on the weekends.
They did a bad grooming on mydog. They forgot to cut 3 of his duclaws after asking them twice if they where done. They never cut or washed his heard he still had dried food on his mustach ect. Never again. I have to make a second trip back to get his claws done right.
They carry a large selection of pet items, some which are not locally available elsewhere. the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. There was a little bit too much chit-chat between the employees but it wasnt bothersome. all the staff was congregated at the front of the store, and none of them were walking around the store to help customers. I knew exactly what I wanted so I didnt need help and Im not sure about the others. Otherwise it was a quick in-and-out experience.
I received an email stating that my order was ready for pick up. After driving 45 minutes to the store I was told the store doesn’t open until another hour and I can’t pick up my order. I could see orders on the table behind the team member but she refused to give it to me. Why would you send me an email saying come and get it if you’re not open?
Great place to shop for anything pet need. Online known as Chewy. Prices are kind of expensive. I always compare online. Store also offers pet grooming. Have tried it several times before. Pets with white coats would be clean with no stain. All had perfume as part of basic bath. Now they are charged to much money, pets with white coats are stii stained and dogs are not perfumed anymore. Stopped taking my four dogs. I was being charged $80 for a 7 lbs. Pomeranian which are easy to cut and she didnt even smell like she had been bathed. Dont recommend grooming.
The guy was rude when we initially got our three fish, and two shrimp. He told us we couldnt have too many fish in our ten gallon tank which was helpful but he delivered the message a bit too aggressively. And within the day or so of caring for the fish they all started dying with this white fungus growing on them. So the fish were also sick upon arrival to their new tank. Would not recommend getting fish from here again.
I love animals. But they r understaffed. I had to wait 30 min in line in back . That was how long it took the lady to catch one lil fish. Then finally got to the front where I had tho walt in line again shoo I could pay. Only one libe bnb open. I only saw 3 employees in the whole store.
Its PetSmart, perfect for the impulse buy. Most everything they have at PetSmart you can have delivered to your door for the same price or less, but sometimes you just want to see it before you buy it, and sometimes you dont want to wait.On this visit I also took advantage of their nail trimming service for my dog and the staff were friendly efficient.
STEER CLEAR ::: Grooming salon...always discrepancies in pricing from online to the salon ..Hidden charges of extra charge for grooming services on Fri/Sat & Sundays non disclosed online or in asking them prior to appointment didnt offer the information ..discriminating practices by not taking mixed breeds or size of dog into consideration regardless of the dominant breed And I specifically called & asked about size ..I was told I was a liar when they charged my smallest dog more than my German shepherd black lab mix. Shes a lab/dachshund mix twice as small and when I was told theyd adjust accordingly for her size when I called prior about it..Didnt provide the service on my dog that I specifically took her for because of a incident with another dog the groomer couldnt complete the job..But failed to get another manger in or someone else to do the job I was to come back and wow they took off 5 bucks for that ...Petsmart is about Petsmart not you the customer they have a reasonable and warranted excuse for their exuberant pricing & discriminated practices concerning mixed breeds ..their staff are argumentive & condescending in grooming AND the company makes excuses using petty arguments like the dogs coat on a mux breed theyll choose the bigger breed to charge you while ignoring the physical facts....USE ANOTHER GROOMER WHO RESPECT YOUR BREED OF DOG AND ARENT MONEY GOUGING YOU ..PETCO DOES RESPECT THE MIX BREEDS & SIZE OF YOUR DOG AND DOESNT HIDE HIDDEN FEES
I had to leave my dog there and come back three times because the groomer did not groom her. I think these new people need more training. 10 minutes after I left the dog maybe 15 minutes the grandma called and said the dog was ready. Theres no way that can happen. When I picked her up I can see she hadnt been done at all. She didnt smell very pleasant and her nails were not trim at all. Needless to say I was not pleased.
We went in looking for a sifting litter box with a cover, which they did not have. However, they had literally everything else. The girls were very kind about it and they had endless options for toys, food, even clothes for cats and dogs alike. Lots of aquarium options and supplies for tanks which was cool. They also offer grooming services for dogs. 👍
I love taking my dog to PetSmart, because I know that Samantha the groomer understands his temperament. Shes consistently cut his hair for over a year and her work is amazing. Plus, my dog, who doesnt care for most people, loves her. Shes personable and professional, and I feel at ease around her and with my dog around her.
Took my dog to petsmart groomers, and it was a total waste of time and money. I had to pay before I could get my dog. When I did get my dog, her nails were not cut. The guy said she growled so he did not cut the nails. I guess he thought she was a pit bull. She is a Jack Russel Terrier. I will never take my dog there again.
Pet grooming: they are wonderful but quick to try and over charge. They told me my dog was eaten up by fleas..he didnt have a single flea and has been on trifexas for 6 months now. We have never had a problem. They offered to treat him with a flea bath or an addition 17 or so dollars. Quickly deniers that one. I was so upset I called my vet to double check on any possible recalls on his prevention brand. Not a single one..and he didnt have any fleas when I picked him up and went home.My pooch was terrdily matter but they did the nest they could to prevent shaving too short. Sadly they had to anyways. I do feel like if I had taken the time to brush him right before his appointment/arrival time he wouldnt of been shaved so short. Turns out we like the short hair, he seems happier bold than fluffy. So we shall make it a normal.They do have a reward system so do sign up. I usually get a coupon from grooming every 3 or 4 months. Always happy to save 5 or 10 dollars when I can. You can make the account and schedule appointments online. Pricing is based off your dogs bread. So I wish you the best of luck.
Didnt like my experience. My family and I were followed by a worker who worked there. Racial profiling at its finest. I approached the worker to question why she was following us, she walked away and we didnt see her the rest of our time there. Havent been back since and we use to shop there all the time
Recently went into the grooming salon to get information on what services they offer for a poodle. The staff was very knowledgeable and friendly, Rebecca the salon manager was very kind and great about answering all my questions (first time dog owner), wasnt quite sure what to have done. When my dog was done with his haircut, he looked wonderful!! Would recommend this salon to everyone and will be going back soon!
Took my pup there on Sunday for a bath and nail grind. Everything seemed fine but she started licking her butt too much and wouldnt let me lift her tail to check. Took her to the vet today and they said her anal glands were quite full, I imagine they couldnt have been expressed as part of the bath service as listed.
They have the best groomers! They can be slow my dog was done almost a hour later than they told me but the results were worth it. It look like it was done by a barber how even and clean the lines were.If youre getting your dog groomed try to get an appointment Mon-Thurs, its a few $ cheaper.
I was told prior to my visit there would be different algae eaters that grow in size to 2ft, 4ft, and larger. I got there and there was only smaller fish with max size of 2ft. I asked and was told no there are none in the store. I went to shop for Algae eaters and the store had two prices on the tank one bolded and the other was was worned. I assumed the Algae eaters were 3.99 ea., instead they were 7.99 ea.. Ofcourse the 7.99 price sticker was worn and unreadable. I stop shopping at this pet store once I became a one-stop pet store in Phenix City...So sad that the store went out of business. All this to say, the associate cashier punched my number several times and it didnt register. I dont know why, besides me not shopping there in years. Heck, there are several stores I shop at sparingly and my number still registered and pulled up my name. The employees though very helpful felt unbothered by serious questions asked. I asked a question. I must mention I have dealt with fresh water fish all my life. Maintaining a 75 gallon for decades as well.Maybe the nature of the behavior was it was raining and minutes before 8pm.I guess being lazy, I didnt want to drive to the stripmall. I usually go to the stripmall if I missed normal business hours of One Stop Shop in PC.It was the atmosphere. Change the atmosphere and it will change your business traffic.Ill stuck to the stripmall.
Paid for 12 weeks of training, only attended 2 classes & was told I was only going to get 6 weeks back instead of 10 (trainer lied & said I took 3). Corporate quickly straightened it out & gave me a refund within minutes. Trainer was more worried about teaching how to raise a dog instead of training the dog (Ive owed several dogs, currently own 4.. I dont need the run around).I waited 45 mins to even get the managers attention about a refund, to be told theres nothing they can do without a trainer available (HELLO. I purchased from Petsmart not the trainer & he wasnt available whenever I purchased..hmm.) A few lies later we are all aggravated instead of giving a refund & de-escalating the situation they call the cops, lie, & have us banned from store to make sure we dont get a refund. I NEVER planned on returning to the store anyways once my refund was returned. First thing Monday my lawyer will be involved in this situation & everything will be settled. NEVER IN MY LIFE WILL I RECOMMEND TRAINING OR EVEN PURCHASING FROM THEIR OVERPRICED STORE. SEEMS LIKE THEY ARE MORE WORRIED ABOUT MONEY THAN A HAPPY CUSTOMER.. I WILL KEEP MY BUSINESS WITH PETLAND, PETSUPERMARKET & PETCO FROM HERE ON OUT.
The reviews are very true. The staff treats everyone like idiots. I have a plethora of experience caring for animals. However, after my encounter with them I felt as if I should read pet ownership for dummies. My suggestion is to avoid unnecessary interaction with the staff and your overall experience will be great.
The grooming staff here were rude as can be. I took my puppers in to get his nails trimmed and filed and his teeth brushed. When we left I looked at his nails and they arent even filed. They just cut them down and left them sharper than they were before i took him in. Oh and they missed his TWO FRONT PAWS??? and I paid 20 dollars for a horrible job? No thanks. Ill take him to an actual pet groomer who knows what they are doing next time.
Called, the store asked did they have any guinea pigs they said yes we drove 40 minutes to the store to find out they had no guinea pigs for Christmas a waste of time and a waste of gas they told us to go to Petco so thats what well be doing all our business from now on at Petco!.
I like Petsmart because of the large selection of items they carry. I know Ill be able to find what I need here. The staff is very helpful. They will not only show you where something is but will also help you get it an even help load it into your car if you need assistance. What I do not like about Petsmart are the prices. I can find nearly everything in the store at a much lower price somewhere else. However sometimes I am willing to pay a higher price for the convenience factor of having everything I need in one shop.
My dog has been dealing with allergy dermatitis from flea bites for almost 2 weeks (we moved back to GA 2 weeks ago). We finally get him on the mend and have a new/different flea prevention to apply. We wanted to get him a bath to get rid of any remaining allergens hoping this will be the last boost he needs to shake this mess. Made an appointment, dropped him off, and was told a pick up time. I went back at the pick up time to get him. A lady brought him up and said he was just laying back there. Ok, whatever, my pup was happy to see me, so I paid and left. We barely got home and he made a bee line for the water bowl and emptied it. I refilled and he emptied it again, this is no small bowl. I can only assume he was there for 3 hours and not offered a drop of water. I noticed his ears were clean and his nails were done. However, he smelled the same as when I dropped him off. Shortly after, a staff member called my husband to say that our dog NEVER GOT HIS BATH! Now itll be another sleepless night keeping him from itching, just to take him back AGAIN tomorrow to get his bath. I wont even be able to do his allergy meds in the morning because they sedate him too much to get him out of the house. I took him there to get relief, not a double dose of stress. So not happy.
I had the worst experience today at pet smart I am a trainer and I was running in to get some snacks for my dog and working on his behavior to correct it when he passes another dog so he doesnt lunch a manager came up to me and pulled me to the side and told me I was not allowed to wear my shirt and nail store after I got permission from a different manager from a different time then she proceeded to tell me I cannot correct my dogs behavior and I was not allowed to bring any other dog through the store in a group and I have not had no other dog with me but my own.this is a really troubling experience this is why I do not go to corporations like this this puts a bad vibe entre nos and business owners and they did not sell what I needed as a dog store I needed a postal for my pet corrector I also needed a freedom harness what day did not sell and they did not sell hands-free what the.this is a lot of common things what you would need for training when every day item its sad to see a big corporation like this not sell nothing like it I advised not to shop here againThanks uSarah scherr
Had to kittens that were fixed and had shots that i rescued from a gas station where someone threw them out. Animal Ark and the Manager of pet smart told me to get off the lot with the kittens. I moved over to Target and got the two kittens a great home. I will not SUPPORT PetSmart or Animal Ark in Columbus, Ga. EVER again. This goes to show they all about MONEY, not the poor ANIMALS.
Went to get some gold fish. We stood there for 10 minutes then she came and ask if she can help us with anything I said yeah I need to get a couple of goldfishes then shes going to give me a lessons on goldfish advise me navigate me to goldfish for at least 2 weeks and then gave me pamphlet to read up on goldfish so I walked out with no goldfish I will never go back to PetSmart ever again
I don’t know how this pet store can even have good ratings! I had no problem in the store until I got to the cash register. I was price matching and the manager or whatever he was is so rude! The second he saw I wanted to price match he got the nastiest attitude! I’ll never go to that petsmart! My first & last time I’ll be there
This PetSmart hosts events for many of the local rescues which is great but they arent as well-stocked as some other PetSmarts and do not have a wide variety of products for each situation (for instance, they do not carry a regular dog toothbrush and toothpaste set).
I went into petsmart to buy some medicine for my cats ears. It was not very expensive and in 5 days my cats ears are sooo much better. If you are looking for specialty items such as fancy water bowls and food bowls, enclosed litter boxes or high end dog food, then you will love this store. Everyone seemed very friendly. My mate actally hurt his knee in the store by hitting it on a sign that was in a bad spot. So watch out for the signs on the aisles. I give my experience 5 stars. Oh- they also give you a card and if I buy one more product I will get a $20 discount on my next purchase. Who can beat that.
Always a pleasure shopping here, even helped me when my puppy got excited and peed on the floor. Just make sure to always check online prices because everything is usually half priced online and they fix it at the register. Saved hundreds doing this since there prices can be very high. Wish they had the correct prices in store, seems very sketchy.
I have had 3 bad experiences. The 1st one was when I was looking for some help with dog food, so when looking for some help I found an employee who looked like she was looking for something or taking inventory. I asked if I could get some help she told me she couldn’t but the guy on the checkout lane could when he was done. So I waited for a while and I had noticed the same person that told me she was too busy to help me was joking with another employee while I was still waiting, so I left on my way out I would be going to Petco (got what I needed there). 2nd time same employee at checkout I asked if they did price match she said no but she will do it anyways a onetime thing as though she was doing me a favor with a small touch of rudeness in her actions (later I found out they all the time from manager). The last time my wife and I was again looking for some help with dog food. My wife found an employee working in the fish area and asked for some help. Well the young lady displayed some displeasure in the fact she had to go over to the dog food area. Once there and found out that the dog food was not on the shelf stated to my wife with some rudeness that she can’t help her and my wife asked why? With some hostile behavior and proceeded to lecture my wife in the fact it hasn’t been checked in she couldn’t give her any even if it was in the back. With all the rudeness we have received we will not be going back we will be getting our weekly supply of dog food in other locations like Petco for example. We have found in this location the employees are not there for the customer but for themselves. Customer do not come first here and that’s for sure!
The grooming department could be way better. Took my dogs there for a bath, nail, and pad trim. The hair was not cut under the pads like I had spoken with the groomer about. The package also said it came with a bandana or bow and we did not receive that. Will be looking for a local groomer that will produce what is advertised.

2021-10-20My first time using PetSmart groomers. I didnt get the young ladys name at counter but she was very friendly and nice. I also spoke to the pet stylist, Crystal Graham, who was just as friendly and nice. I told her what I wanted done and Crystal did not disappoint! My Logan looked so cute! Thank you Ladys! I will definitely be a repeat customer 😊👍👏

2022-05-20Went there to get dog food and my dog groomed. They did an awesome job with her. The employees here are pretty nice. Very nice store. Animals for sale look very happy and well cared for. Would definitely recommend for anyone who needs a grooming

2022-06-07The people inside the groomers at arrival was nice and explained everything to me. The issue became when I explained to them that he has been to the groomers once as a puppy and did fine, I also informed him that music calms him down and they proceeded to say their machine was down. Nevertheless I said my goodbyes and allowed them to groom. When I received the phone call that he was ready they proceeded to give the impression that he was a terrible while they we’re grooming him, they claimed that he has a tantrum, almost jumped off the table, attempted to bite the groomers, and overall was difficult to groom with the clippers. Of course they charged me a extra $10 for “handling fee” due to his “behavior” which I found was absolutely ridiculous seeming as which it’s your job to groom dogs. All dogs especially dogs who aren’t used to random people touching them is not going to sit like a statue. If they would’ve took the time to calm him and allow him to smell and get familiar with the items they used he would’ve been fine. They portrayed him to be a terrible client when he’s a 6 pound yorkiepoo. I will never again take him to this location due to the staff. The thing that has me the most confused about the whole situation is that all his hair was cut off like they said it would be so if he was such a aggressive client how was they able to complete his cut & bath in 2 hours instead of 3-4. They also did not cut his nails down properly.

2022-05-09After standing around for a couple of minutes without seeing an employee, I approached a cashier to request assistance in the aquatic/aquarium department. They didnt have a wide variety of freshwater Gold fishes. I also purchased fish gravel from them and had it delivered to me Monday. I inquired why after setting the tank up with the gravel since Monday is it still cloudy. My tank has cleared within a day. I changed out all the gravel to jet black gravel.

2022-06-10Wish I could give the groomers a zero..extremely unprofessional..was told because my dog is a wiggle butt they couldn’t do anything with him..then when we went to pick him up..they are in there blasting rap music ignoring us when we walked in. I’m like is this a place of business? I feel like they just didn’t want to deal with my six month old puppy who just needed groomed..

2018-08-15I went here to purchase a snake hide. Upon picking it up and looking around an employee approached me and said. “We only sell rats as pets and not for your snake” and then said that all of the rats they sell are sick. I asked why they would sell sick animals to begin with and she just said “for money”. I’m leaving 5 stars because the prices are decent and I’ve always had a generally good experience with the petsmart establishments. I won’t let this one employee ruin it for their business, but the way she acted out of nowhere I definitely won’t ever return to this location. They definitely lost my business while that employee is there.

2022-01-18The employees here really care; we recently adopted a dog and the store employees provided so much personalized attention to ensure we had all the right supplies to care for her. She had her first grooming here and they took great care to ensure she was as comfortable as possible. When I went to pick her up, the groomer who was working at the front desk was holding our dog in her lap showing her love while she waited for us to return. The genuine care they show pets here shows.
