P.F. Changs in other cities:
I would give zero stars if it was possible.. came in on a Saturday afternoon with my family to have lunch.. it was a fairly quick wait and we were seated promptly.. however it took 30 mins for the waitress to get our drink and take our orders.. after one hour of waiting and kids that were about to cry due to hunger we decided to leave.. spent about an hour 20 mins there and did not get to eat. People who came after us ate and left.. will never return to this P.F Chang’s.. did I mention the entrance was falling apart?
My infrequently seen friend from Alaskawas my overnight guest. We both recollectPAST VISITS here with our ChristianMinistry team! Lettuce rolls, Fried rice &Shrimp & one other dish is what we shared.EVERYTHING WAS SCRUMPTIOUS!!At Noon on Monday, we happened to be theONLY ones dining in! Service wasExcellent; hot green tea w/ lemon& honeywas a big treat on a very cool damp day!!And surprisingly..we had LEFTOVERS..which I enjoyed for lunch the NEXT day!HAD SO MUCH FUN...we BOTH FORGOT 📸TO MAKE PICTURES..!!!
First the tables were dirty so we asked to sit in the back, we get there that table also is dirty. So sir why did you even come get us to be seated if it wasn’t ready? We waited 15 mins for a waitress until we had to get the Operations manager. He cleaned the table again while we went back to the lobby to wait. Still wasnt clean properly. Ordered our food. We got the pork eggs rolls and the sauce they brought out was wrong. Had to ask another waitress for the right sauce. We asked for our dish to be a certain way, that wasn’t done so one of us had to wait for a re make. The food was alright. Not great, not horrible but definitely not worth what we spent. The manager never came back to check on our experience. Out of 10 this visit was a 4. Very disappointing. We went around 3:30pm 12.31.21
Went today for lunch and the food was amazing. Staff was very courteous and we were seated right away. Our waitress was amazing and Glenn even stopped by our table to make sure we didn’t need anything and that the food was prepared well and to our liking. We definitely be going back soon!
The food is good and they have a great host, a young man and awesome waitresses but theres a disorganization that makes the whole experience a nightmare. I had to wait over an hour when I was told I had to way 30 minutes. The restaurant wasnt even full and the excuse was that they did not have enough waitresses. They couldnt even tell me anymore how long I needed to wait before I could get a table. I had to leave unfortunately. I had friends with me that I invited to the restaurant and we were all very disappointed. The restaurant also needs a deep cleaning.
I order a take out and gave them 45 mins and the person said it would be done in 25-35 min. Perfect I might have to wait a little and that was okay. When I got there the guy said it would be another HOUR. I said no way and left. They can keep there food if it going take them almost two hours to make one dinner plate. This restaurant is the worse and we have not had a good experience the last three times we gone there and kept giving them another chance but we are done giving them one more time. They have lost our family business
I love getting take out from PF Changs when Im in town for work. They only take 10-15 minutes to prep my order each time. I always get the Mongolian beef with brown rice. The best chocolate cake in the world comes from PF Changs, but its a seasonal item, so get it when you can! It comes with a berry compote, which cuts the sweetness of the chocolate.
The waiter and the host were very nice. We tried the spicy chicken and sesame chicken. The fried rice tasted like it was freezer burned and the chicken said on the menu it was fried first and then sautéed. Both meats tasted was gummy, like gummy chicken nuggets from McDonalds with sauce that had been on it in the fridge for 3 days. This restaurant had better cuisine when it opened many years ago but now you should just get a frozen section asian meal from the grocery store instead.
Boyfriend and I came in for a quick bite. Started by splitting the Ahi Sushi Roll which was really delicious, especially for beginners who don’t care for uncooked fish. My honey chicken and white rice was accompanied with my Rising Dragon drink and I don’t regret it. What really tied it in was our wonderful server Caleh, she made our night with her sweet and funny self! Whenever we’re in town, we’ll be sure to stop here again.
Three of us went there on the 27th. We were seated, but for 20 minutes no one came to us to at least take out drinks orders. We saw two waiters walking back and forth to the other tables. None of them told us that they will be with us shortly. The restaurant was not busy around the time we were there which was 3 pm. We got up and left and no one asked us why we were leaving. NOT going back there!!!
Yesterday I ordered sesame seed chicken and magolian chicken bowls to go...both was over cooked....the chicken was extremely tough and chewy....the noodles were bland as well as the rice...I tried to add extra sauce to it however that didnt help...we could not eat these meal at all...usually the food is very good. However the drinks and sushi was very good...
I have to tell you about my amazing experience this evening, the food was wonderful but our waitress is what made the experience the best!!! She was very knowledgeable and friendly and I will come back just to see her!!!!So whoever is in charge, just know that Michaela is a complete asset to the company!
Server was not very friendly. Ordered the chicken pad thai and it had no flavor. Had to ask twice for the chili paste. Would not recommend for anyone to eat here, especially with the rude service that was directed towards us. I was very disappointed as I’ve eaten at many P.f. chang’s and have never had such flavorless food.
We made reservations for 3 pm. I was emailed saying our table was ready ten minutes before our reservation time. We arrived five minutes later and were told it would 10 to 15 minutes before our table would be ready. 30 minutes later we left without being seated. It seems terrible that the information would be that far off. I dont understand why we would be told our table was ready when it wasnt. Thats the worst part.
Yes I to wonder what the hell the P.F stands for? Please food? Pretty flattery, Peach Flavored or Peter Frederick. It may be a question for the ages, either way what ever the answer is I really enjoy the food. This food is highly influenced by an Asia ascents but definately American inspired. I ordered the Shrimp and Lobster fried rice. It is one of my go to plates and I would highly recommend it. Today it was a bit to salty but the fried rice was freash and plump. We also ordered the pork dumplins and the crispy honey chicken which were evenly seasoned. The bar has a great assortment of cocktails and would be great place for a first date. This place is also child friendly. I would recommend this place for dinner and drinks.
The hostess seemed as if she didn’t want anyone eating at the restaurant… I came in with a reservation and she “mistakenly” forgot i was here. Meanwhile, as i am waiting to be seated, they were turning everyone away saying “reservation only” but the dining area only had maybe 4 other parties here with plenty of empty seats.
The kids love this restaurant, though its been hit or miss with the adult meals. Recently, I tried their new ramen selection; I wasnt impressed. The broth was bland and Im not sure the chicken was cooked all of the way through. Our waitress was on top of things though and we really appreciated her superb service
The food here is delicious, they need to improve the front desk person, in every of their restaurant I went the front desk person wasnt goodsorry to say that ...but poor with the customer service, they dont receive good the client, the kitchen people and the people serving the food do always a good job .I will always recommend someone here because of the good food, clean and comfortable place
I used to really love coming to PF Changs for special occasions. I remember a time when the waiters and waitresses would make your 3 sauces for you right next to the table. Nowadays, I guess in an effort to streamline, they just bring prepped sauce to you. The menu also used to be much more Chinese influenced, with items such as whole duck no longer being offered anymore. Theyre more on the the side of fusion now and less actual Chinese cuisine. We had the lettuce wraps (which is one of the only things left from their original menu that still tastes great), an order of sea bass in a type of oolong tea baste, and the ma Po tofu (which is touted as being vegetarian and not actually prepared like any kind of ma Po tofu Ive had). The bottom line is that while the food is competently prepared and tastes decent, it is not at all accurate to the chinese experience and I feel like it hasnt been that way in a while. They still have some good menu items, and our waitress was very nice/service was good, but the menu is really lacking in my opinion.
Just tried to eat dinner here and the restaurant was basically empty and had a bunch of empty dirty tables, but got turned away because they werent taking walk ins. Apparently due to the fact they could not keep up with the tables coming in, meanwhile all the employees were standing outside talking and smoking, and the restaurant was NOT full at all. Everytime we have tried eating here we have had issues with seating and wait times.
We are a family of 6. From the moment we walked in the hostess greeted us. It was our first time and she suggested some of their most popular dishes. Then our server was amazing. On our receipt his name said Hos. He constantly checked if we needed anything. He also made some good suggestions. We tried just about everything that was suggested and they were delicious. Even the dessert was good. Overall our experience here gets 👍👍My kids are asking to come back again tomorrow.
My first and last time here. I ordered pot stickers, fried rice and sesame chicken. Menu said 6 I was charged for 6 and given 4. Rice was tasteless, sesame chicken was supposed to be extra crispy and was slimy. I was told they had no soy sauce but found out that wasnt true when they magically found some when I wanted to cancel my order. Btw my table was greasy and gross. Pics attached
Food was great! Hostesses (I think there were 4 at the greetingdesk)... not so much. We had 5:30 reservations and got there 15 minutes early. There were lots of empty tables. Still didnt get seated until almost 6. Our server was running all over the restaurant, but he kept up with our drinks. He was excellentI always eat too much. Lettuce wraps, dynamite shrimp, tempura calamari, and sushi we shared as appetizers. All were delicious. Plenty for the table. I ordered the salt and pepper prawns for my meal. So good and I could barely eat it so I had enough for a second meal. My wife had the duck. It came as 4 legs on a plate with vegetables, sauces, and flat bread for making your own roll up I guess. Very tender and juicy duck. It also came home with us. Then the great wall of China for dessert. Stuffed it in and went home very satisfied.Come expecting a full dining experience.
Went with the family for dinner. I had the Changs Spicy Chicken with brown rice, my wife had the Sesame Chicken, with fried rice, my son had plain fried rice, and my daughter had the kids Chicken with Honey Sauce. Everyone really enjoyed their meals. The restaurant was quite nice and in good condition. Our server was attentive and helpful. They had menus available for those with peanut or tree nut allergies, which are printed on demand. They are still using online menus for the regular menus. The prices are a little high, but not outrageously so. Well certainly return if not frequently.
We walk in receptionist is on the phone doesn’t acknowledge us finally I tell my party we can go to the bar the lady apologizes we get to the bar it smells of rot near the dish area so bad we had to get up almost throwing up so we move to another area a table. The waitress did take a long time to bring water and drinks but I think she was the only one working out area. The bathrooms had no soap and one sink wasn’t working with Covid on the rise this is ridiculous.
Will NEVER go back! Made reservations for 2 online for Dec 27th 2020. During the online reservation process...they wanted to know the reason for the visit..ie..birthday, anniversary,etc... I selected anniversary. We arrived 15 minutes early and checked in, we were seated within a few minutes. While being seated the hostess gave us paper drink menus (see photos) and told us we had to scan the QR code with our phone to see their food menu. I asked if she could bring a paper food menu, she explained that due to COVID they are trying to do away with paper menus. I spend the next 5 minutes trying to get the phone to recognize the QR code...no luck on my android but the wife is successful with her iphone. Now our waitress shows up and asks if we are ready to order... We order a bottle of wine (Malbec) and I ask her to bring me a paper menu. She returns with a Merlot and asks if its ok because they are out of the Malbec. We say no and ask to see the wine list again. She returns with the paper drink list and we select something else. She quickly returns with the correct bottle and places it unopened on our table. She then asks if we are ready to order our food..to which I reply that I wasnt because I have asked twice now for a paper food menu and have yet to receive it. She then looks disturbed and walks off. My wife is now done choosing her meal from her phone so I borrow her phone and find something to eat. The waitress returns and takes our food order. Remember that unopened bottle of wine... We now open it ourselves and pour our own glass. Two other tables near us both ordered wine and their waiter/waitress opened and poured their first glass. Our food arrives... My wife is brought the wrong dish, we had to flag down a hostess to notify them of the error because our waitress was nowhere to be found. I asked for soy sauce and sriracha... 5 minutes later it is brought to me.... My food is now getting cold. I am all but done with my meal and my wife finally received her correct meal. No apology from the staff, no attempt to make it right on our bill... Nothing.Overall impression of this place is..YOU SUCK!!! You say no paper food menu due to covid but you give me a paper drink menu... I call Bulls@$! Why did you ask if it was a special occasion (anniversary) but did nothing with it? Why do you open the wine bottle for some but not others? When you screw up an order...why dont you attempt to make it right? Never will I recommend this place! Would rather wipe my arse with a porcupine that patronize this place. Cant express enough how badly the service SUCKS here!!!!
My boyfriend and I came here to celebrate and veg out during our anniversary! our waitress was polite and attentive, and gave us great pointers on the menu. must try the plum wine if you like to sip on something sweet during your meal!! we got the banana spring rolls for dessert (full order) and cleared the plate- they were delicious! started with a few appetizers, and really enjoyed the chicken lettuce wraps. Jewel was super sweet and knowledge!! We’ll be back!
The food was fresh and was cooked perfectly. I had a ramen dish and my wife had the fried rice and shrimp. The ramen dish had chicken and a curry broth and different textures with the tomatoes, bean sprouts and crispy wontons that was unique and very tasty. Thoroughly enjoyed. Great service as well.
Service was HORRIBLE! Took 45 minutes to get our food, place had very few people in the restaurant dining. Ordered Kung Pao chicken, came out with celery instead of green onions NO peanuts. Had to tell the waitress, she said she had to verify what we said was correct! Verified it put another order in and took 20 minutes for that! Never saw a manager. ABSOLUTELY WILL NOT BE COMING BACK TO THIS LOCATION!
This was my first time a P.F Chang’s and I ordered the Surf and Turf a BlackBerry Cocktail and California Rolls... I was expecting more and was sadly let down by the taste definitely wasn’t a fan of the surf and turf the California rolls and cocktails were good though. I took most of the surf and turf home and ended up tossing it in the trash I wasn’t planning on returning but I believe I will to try something different to give P.F. Chang a second chance and I’ll do a follow up review.
We were the very first guests of the day. Not only did the hostess seem not interested in her job as far as seating and making us feel welcomed. It was more of a why are we doing here type of attitude. Once seated we waited for our server, ordered our food and was told they did not have what we wanted for that day 7 minutes after the order was placed. The only reason I came to restaurant was get the ribs and burn time. They have successfully wasted my time. There was nothing else on the menu that appealed to me and being that I have to use my phone to look at a very slim menu of items they don’t have didn’t exactly make me want to return. Watching other guests come in with the establishment not being busy at all with a wait doesn’t really make me want to ever return. This will be my last visit here. Not happy
I ordered the lettuce wraps (to which I had ordered for YEARS) and expected a high quality fish which I was accustomed to. My meal has chicken and water chestnuts amongst other things, and my entire Neal consisted of the water chestnuts. I expect better from such a fine establishment. What you see is basically a water chestnut wrap sprinkled with a dusting of minced chicken. The larger cubes = prethora of water chestnuts. The microscopic chicken = barely visible (u can barely taste) apparently an after thought to the water chestnuts which is clearly the focal point of PFChangs CHICKEN wrap. Suggestion - do better, because Im sure you know better. The ratio is completely off and likely purposely done. Assuming chicken is slightly more expensive than the unlimited water chestnuts. Patronizing businesses during a pandemic is tricky for both parties. Its very easy to weed out bad businesses and support biz that puts forth fair and honest effort. That is all. Be safe
I ordered the sweet and sour chicken with out noodles or rice via delivery. The portion size was literally 5 pieces of breaded chicken. I paid $15.00 for a serving size for a child. I ate at the restaurant a week prior to ordering delivery and my serving size was immaculate. I needed a take home box. Im truly disappointed per my delivery order. 😞 There is no way what Pf Chang sold me..was worth $15.00. Im livid as I once loved this spot. Whoever made my to go order should be popped on the hand. You should be ashamed of yourself. Terrible.
Food was quite good but very unimpressed with the wokeness. The qr codes for the menu didnt work for anyone at our table, when we asked for a menu she said they arent supposed to give out menus, yet they were very happy to hand out the alcohol menu. Eventually she got us a menu. Two people at our table ordered something with large strips of beef. We asked for a knife and there werent any. They dont keep knives for customers. Good food is not worth the poor service.
I absolutely love this place ! Me and Husband to be comes often, but on this Saturday before Easter. The management totally overlooked me and my family after we waited 20 minutes after not even being acknowledged in the first place. We spoke once to the manager and did not even ask for my name to be put on the list for any other seating. Finally speaking to someone else got seated but the food was great and the front Hostess Charisma Took us to our seats , helped us get our drinks, and even checked up on us. She was fabulous.
The fold at this location is good, we come here pretty often. However, lately we have been disappointed. We have not gotten refills, nor checked on during our meal, the waiter just comes by after 30 minutes and asks if we are ready for the check. It has been multiple waiters over the past few months.
I took my two children for lunch this past Friday. We waited for about 15 minutes before our server acknowledged us. We ordered the dumplings, pad Thai, and honey chicken with fried rice. The dumplings were great, but everything else was just okay. The pad thai had 4 pieces of chicken in the entire dish. For the $50 I spent on this meal, I was very disappointed. I’ve had better food at a Chinese buffet.
Wating time with a bunch of open tables. 15 min for one old-fashioned. Kids meal was ordered with the appetizers took forever. Main course came incomplete and the server tried to keep it on the Check the food didnt served to us. At the end I requested to take it off. Food was average, nothing to impress.
Hostess was a nightmare! Waitress was amazing! Sadly the hostess ruined our experience from the start would not give us a booth when requested and instead gave us some nasty table with chunks of food on it and some sticky sauce. The table was in this condition after the hostess cleaned it. When our waiter came over for the first time we didn’t even need to say anything she could see the problem and cleaned it on her own. To rub salt into the wound the hostess gave the table we had requested to a group that came in after us with the same number of people and without reservation.
What happened to the old food quality from a year ago? Ordered Mongolian beef... Tasted like dry seared steak with beef flavoring only. Honey chicken was mushy and over breaded. Egg rolls were soggy. The egg drop soup was the best part of the whole meal. I ordered online to pick up at a specific time and ended up waiting a half hour after my pick up time. Not optimal with a dog, husband, and baby waiting in the car. And to to it all off, we didnt even get napkins! I cant believe I paid over $50 for this!!!
Seriously, the honey chicken I ordered was no different than what I could get in a box from the grocery store. The tempura green beans were the best part of the meal. PFC used to be a unique dining experience. They would bring you an array of several sauces, and show you how to mix them up and make them spicier or milder. They dont do that anymore. Theyre just another restaurant, the magic is gone. ☹️
The service was horrible. I first ordered a sprite and it tasted like disgusting sparkling water. The rice was very dry, chicken wasnt good at all. Also, on my way home I had a stomach bug and was very close to throwing up. PF Changs is definitely not the resurant you need to go to.
5 stars is not high enough for this visit. (A 6 or 7 was appropriate.) The P.F Changs is a great place to get a great meal and heavenly Chinese food!!!! The food is really good and the portion sizes are huge and you literally cannot stop eating. The food can be a little pricey but it is worth it because the portion sizes are huge and the food quality is outstanding. Also the service is outstanding here and we are always treated so well. The place is always packed but yet they keep everything flowing which shows you they have great management at this location.Overall, when frequenting a national restaurant chain we dont always expect the best in service but PF Changs has great team members and a great level of service. Well be back.
I do realize that restaurant industry is hurting at this time BUT today was not a good day. We were seated at 836pm , not bad only a 20 minute wait.. We did not recieve our food until 951 pm. When We did get it , it was cold! I was packed up and ready to go at 958. I am not sure what the issue was, service was not up to par. $ 64.54 for nothing.
As a delivery driver I will say sometimes the wait can be long. Its very popular and for good reason. As a customer the food is pricey but high quality and worth it. I always order the mongolian beef its to die for, so tender and the rice is fantastic.(get it and thank me later) I had a small issue with my to go order one time and didnt complain as no ones perfect but they usually are. I simply let them know on my next visit, tonight, and they took care of me without even asking! The staff are awesome. It looks as fancy as the food taste. High class and highly recommend! Thank you ❤️
Hats off to the young lady working as the hostess on Sunday evening who apologized for a lack of staff & proceeded to get our drinks & food order. However, 4 different waiters walked passed us after being seated w/ no acknowledgement the entire time that we were there. No manager either & I couldnt believe it. We had to ask for a refill & the bill. This was a 1st at P.F. Chang.
I recently celebrated a friends 82nd birthday at PF Changs, Augusta and what a treat! The Mgr, Greg, went all out to make this day special for her. The table was beautifully set with gold placemats and each of us received a gratuitous Origami porcelain dove holding gold chop sticks. Our waiter, Gabriel, was superb! Rarely unless dining at a high end restaurant do you ever find a waiter of his caliber. Ultimately when 9 older women leave with only positive remarks about our dining experience its truly the mark of excellence. In fact the birthday girl has already said were coming back next year!
We have never been disappointed with the food or service here until this visit. Our waitress was awesome but something is really wrong in the kitchen. Waited for an hour and when the food finally arrived they were out of one of the dishes we ordered and the other was cold, rubbery and inedible. We hope this was a fluke as we have always loved PF Changs. Tipped our waitress and our ticket was comped.
Slowest service I’ve ever had a a restaurant. Waited 30 mins to be seated then waited 1 1/2 Hours for our food to even arrive. Went in at 6:00 left at 8:30. Expected fast and great service considering the price, and companies name. Just for reference of how the service went; when the food came out...we didn’t even have our silverware. Wouldn’t recommend if you’re in a hurry or don’t want to get frustrated. Obviously the takeout is prioritized over the dine in customers.
Zero.00000 foodIf I could give these guy a zero I would. Went here to pick an order and the manager or whatever he is was very rude. Asked a simple question and he was upset that I even asked a question. I wanted to know why my order wasn’t ready at the time THEY GAVE ME and he’s mad. Lol Please do not waste your money here. Go elsewhere. If you feel this is a fake review go see for your self. Staff is the same no help at all just simply rude as if we need them kind of attitude.
First time eating here and I will not be back. Waited a long time for our food just for it to be tasteless and luke warm. Thought this place was supposed to be more upscale than my neighborhood Asian cuisine. Maybe the decor but that was it. Should have went elsewhere for less money and better tasting food.
I rarely eat here but everytime I do theres always some issue. This time they only had one server and a bartender working the floor (which we discovered later) it took a while for someone to even come take our drink order. One table walked out because they never got their drinks. Then when we finally get someone to take our order he tells us theyre short staffed and out of ice. I do understand ice machines break down but as a former manager of a chain restaurant, you do what you have to do and get bags of ice or something. Also if they were short staffed the manager should have been on the floor helping where needed.I didnt see a manager not one time while we were there. Our server was very apologetic and nice by the way, we know its not his fault. They also got my moms order wrong and gave her chicken instead of shrimp and forgot to bring her the hot tea she ordered.
The food was good...the waitress was rude and condescending..messed up our drink order and insisted it was right when it clearly wasnt....messed up our dessert order and then messed up our bill with extra charges on it....food was good but not sure if I will be back .....
Pretty underwhelmed to be honest. We had the lettuce wraps which were nice but aside from that and the old fashioned everything else was pretty mediocre. The ribs noodles and warm sake were all pretty average or not very good. For the price point I was expecting more. Not what I remembered from when I was younger
Ordered a meal from PF Changs via UberEats. I have previously had no issues with this restaurant and would normally rate them between 4-5 stars.Today, however, they cancelled our order two minutes before it was supposed to arrive. There were no updates along the way, and for all I know they didnt even start the order. We waited for a FULL HOUR. Had I known it would have taken that long for them to cancel, I would have cancelled my own order and purchased from somewhere else.Would rate zero stars if that was an option. Totally unacceptable.
Reservations are irrelevant and don’t seem to matter. You will still wait up to a hour for a table you thought you reserved online. Just seems poorly managed and maintained from the host to the waiters. I love this restaurant and the food is always good but this particular location seems lost in the sauce.
Ive come to the conclusion that the P.F. in P.F. Changs stands for perpetuating falsehoods. This place is to Chinese food what taco bell is to Mexican. I havent been here in the past few years without being told something I want to order is unavailable. Your paying for the ambience here....Im sure the shipping costs on that Wish.com interior decor is being rolled into the cost.
Our server was very courteous, the food was average nothing more. The food in the Food Court is just as good for a fraction of the price. The bathrooms were not very clean. In fact the entry door to the bathroom is very sticky. It doesnt look or feel like it ever gets cleaned. The bathroom door at a Waffle House isnt that dirty. My 3 plates, appetizer and 3 drinks was $82.00Thats ridiculous for a little bit of beef, chicken, rice and steamed vegetables. I wont be going back.
So I took my wife here for our anniversary along with our children. They ended up gave our appetizer to another table. It took them almost 45min to correct the problem and bring us out our appetizer. We waited for over an hour for our food to arrive. We ended up getting the food to go because of the wait which caused our kids to get upset as they were hungry. There were several tables with the same number of people that were seated after us and received their food before us. Very unhappy with the service. I will not bring my family back to this location.
It’s such a shame because I love the food here but the service is TERRIBLE. I am not sure if this lady is the manager or not, but she has some short green hair. Anyways, I called to try to replace the pork dumplings in the wonton soup with something else because I do not eat pork. I asked for extra shrimp instead. She told me that the wonton soup did not come with shrimp, but I’ve had it before and it definitely does and even says so in the description. She told me it would be an up charge to do that because “it doesn’t come with shrimp”, after going back and fourth with her for a while I just said never mind. My thoughtful fiancé when going to pick up the order decides to purchase Shrimp Dumplings for me instead... she laughed at him and said “Sure”. I’m not sure what was so funny and he isn’t so sure either. Very unprofessional and a disgusting display of behavior. She also yelled at a server for helping her bring the to-go orders to the front, complaining that “she was doing her job”. Well, sis, you weren’t doing your job and it had to be done. I hope she is not the manager here because if so P.f Changs really needs to re-evaluate their staff members.
On Saturday 2/13/21 I called the Augusta GA restaurant asking about ordering take-out Peking duck for Sunday 2/14/21, asking if I needed to pre-order. I was told no. On Sunday, at 6pm I called to place the order and I was told that no take out orders were being taken due it taking too long and the food wouldnt be ready until 2 hrs later. The woman then hung up the phone.I called back and asked to speak to a manager, whom I was going to tell that a wait would be ok, as we dont usually eat until later. I was put on hold for 16 minutes. At that point I hung up and thought Id try again in a few minutes. I called back and was put on hold again, this time I gave up after 13 minutes. I waited 25 minutes thinking maybe it would be OK to call back, at which point the woman simply hung up on me. I called back again and was immediately sent to the music recording, which hung up after 5 minutes.I wouldnt be emailing you except that your restaurants inability to handle a basic function such as getting a manager to answer a phone is incredible.Of course, this ruined by Vanlentines dinner with my wife, who cannot eat in an enclosed restaurant per her physicians orders. All we wanted was 2 Peking duck dinners. All I got from PF Changs was to be rudely ignored. Thanks for your service.
Don’t usually give terrible reviews, but this place got our third strike this last visit. The first strike was the hair in our food a few months ago and it took absolutely way too long for a replacement. The second was how slow the restaurant was two months ago while hardly no one was in the restaurant. (And our food was cold when it came out)And the last strike was last week when we got there right before 6 and waited and waited for a server who then proceeded to tell us we just missed happy hour cause it took so long for us to be sat and her to come to the table. Not to mention all the menus were sopping wet and the table was filthy. We will not return till this place shapes up....
Im here right now paying for a meal of myself for $40. After insisting the food was cold, and it was brought back supposedly warm, it was only the plate that was heated and the food was cold. The appetizers were cold. Waste of a trip. No kind of compensation or an Im sorry. I would not come back again. My microwave at home heats the food better than whatever they did. Our server took forever to bring a budlight, which I understand if its busy, 20 minutes later I finally got a beer mixed with cold reheated food. When attempting to pay, it took and additional 20 minutes. Im never going again!
Let me begin by saying I have loved PF Changs but this location gets worse with every experience. If I ever visit again, Id choose Dunwoody or Cumberland unless they have fallen into the same issues. We dined there on Sunday, the food and service were equally awful. After waiting to see a hostess for awhile, once she appeared, we decided to dine alfresco, the hostess handed us 3 menus for myself, my friend and my ten year old grandaughter then told us to go out there, sit wherever wed like and a server would be out shortly. Well, after about 10 minutes a server didnt come out, also turns out shed given us 3 drink menus and when I attempted to go back inside to get menus and ask for help both of the patios doors were locked. A customer dining in the bar area let me in. Only then were we informed that we needed to use our cellphones to scan the QR code to view menu, mightve been a good idea to mention that when giving the menu to us, nonetheless, my phone had low battery power so we werent open to that option. Took about 5 minutes to get a menu to share that didnt include any childrens menu items; they said corporate hadnt sent them many. We order....appetizer was fried greens beans, sauce tasted like a diffferent and sweeter recipe with watery consistency, not great. It took a long time for server/ bartender to reappear though there were few customers. I eventually ordered the new recipe Orange Chicken with fried rice, no rice came with entree, not fried, not white or brown. I ate a few pieces of soggy chicken while waiting for the server to do a two minute check back.Im not sure where she was, but she wasnt in the bar area. When she came, I asked for the rice. She reappeared with rice in a bowl that had a spoon in it that looked like someone had eaten out of and the server had rice all over her hand, it was disgusting. Not the nicely mounded rice Id grown accustomed to, so I asked what is this? To which she replied, I put too much in the bowl and scooped some out? Are you kidding me? Of course, I refused it. The manager never came to the see us but removed the 3 dollar fried rice upcharge and the green beans. I ended up paying 35.00 for a kids meal, a drink and soggy chicken without a side that I boxed and brought home that is still taking up space in my fridge. You guys might want to make some staff changes before this location is defunct. Wouldnt recommend.
My family of 6 ate here yesterday evening around 4.There were barely any people and we were asked to wait 15 mins. So we waited and waited and finally my husband went inside as 30 mins have passed. Then all of a sudden , they could seat us. Then we look around and they are seating people left and right with no wait.....annoying. Our waitress was nice but the service was super slow. She would check on us tell us she was going to bring this or that and then just never come back. If you dont have adequate staff to accommodate the amount of parties you sat, then don’t seat them. The food was ok. All the rice they serve is bland. Lo Mein was drenched in soy sauce. My sesame chicken was drenched in sauce making it barely edible. My tea was $3.25...that’s insane. The only thing we enjoyed were the egg rollsAnd the sauce it came with. Other than that we will we did not enjoy our experience and will not be back.
The family went and ordered different items. We all shared the different items and enjoyed it. It did take quite a bit of time to be seated and we went to the bar to wait to be called. My father and sister wanted to order a drink and waited twenty minutes before the bartender returned to the bar. She seemed to be the only one and had very little help. The bar was around the corner away from everything, which makes it easy to forget that people are over there in need of assistance. I believe this setup is disadvantageous.
Fresh never frozen doesnt apply here. Entire meal tastes like reheated food with a greasy texture left in the mouth. Tables need to be buffed and menus were oily to the touch. I probably try pf changs semiannually yet to ever enjoy. Food is way overpriced. Server was good.
Place was busy so we set at the bar. Service was pretty good. Wife and I ordered Mao po tofu with different side dishes. It came out family style with a single shared side. Then while eating we found a random noodle in the meal. This is very concerning as my wife ordered the meal and informed them of a peanut allergy.
Very Rude Hostess and ManagerWaited one and half hours in lobby for them to give us table still did not get it.People keep coming and reserving tables in front of us in lobby and they kept giving them table and making us wait. When asked manager about this she just rudely said Reservations has priority you will have to wait.Even though I tried to explained they reserved table after us she was not ready to listen.Never going back there...
Last night was the worst experience ever. We usually request Server Rhonda or David as they are excellent in providing great service etc but they were both off last night. We arrived at 5:30pm and were immediately seated. A Server I had not seen before came to our table after we sat there for about ten minutes and took our drink order. I ordered water. My water glass was never refilled even though this waiter walked passed several times and I requested a refill but never got it. Restaurant was not really crowded at the time we were seated either. The ‘endless lettuce wrap’ Happy Hour that I ordered was a joke. It took 30 minutes to get our meals and me to get even one serving of these lettuce wraps. My husband ordered a full meal and was almost done with his meal and I had been waiting and waiting for our waiter to bring me more lettuce wraps BUT they never arrived so my husband shared some of his meal with me. After waiting over 30 more minutes for this waiter to bring me more lettuce wraps I got up and went and found the manager, who was in back in the kitchen area. I told him my happy hour ‘endless lettuce wraps’ were not brought out after waiting 30 minutes, the waiter never once refilled my or my husbands water glass in the hour we sat there and I wanted the $10 removed from my bill for these ‘endless’ lettuce wraps that are impossible to get a second order placed, never mind a 3rd etc (.not much meat comes with each serving). What is the sense of having a promotion called ‘endless’ lettuce wraps if you can NEVER get additional plates brought out??!!Service was horrible. Manager did give me a small tray of the meat to bring home BUT my dinner was ruined. Worst service ever by this waiter, very slow, not attentive at all and no excuse for ruining our dinner like this.I will not return if I get this waiter again. Waste of our $30 for a ruined meal.
No one ever came to our table and went to the table next to us. I even made a reservation online for my family of 5. We sat the for like 30 minutes no service. Unprofessional service and when you try to call and speak with the manager they just keep you on hold. Don’t waste your time here.
For being a higher end priced Asian fusion restaurant, its not worth the price. Service at this restaurant has never been great. On service, I would rate it as negative 1 out of 5 stars. I mean, you do eventually get your food. I asked for brown rice and got white. Ok no biggie. I ordered pad Thai chicken. It smelled horrible and I dont think the chicken was completely cooked through. Sent it back. Even the bartender agreed that it smelled funny. About the only thing I can say positively is the trio sauces are divine and the ambiance of the restaurant is mood pleasant.
PF Changs used to be one of my familys favorite places to eat. However, the last few times we have eaten there, the quality of the dishes has diminished. The food was bland, lacked flavor. The lettuce wraps were hands down the family favorite. The spice and the crunch was non existent. The one shining star was the banana egg roll dessert and ice cream. As expensive as PF Changs menu is these days, we will not return. It will be straight to Pinterest for recipes.
Ok, I am not a huge fan of Chinese food but I will try it and eat at times. P.F. Changs is a very good place to eat and I have enjoyed each time That I have ate here with my relatives (who love Chinese food). Very friendly service and good food. Each time that we have been here it has been consistently good and friendly. we last ate here back in the Spring with my in-laws who also speak highly / positively of this place as well.
This is the single dirtiest place Ive ever seen in this price range. I spoke with the manager about the food in the seats and corners and he wasnt kind about it. He stated all those seats were coming out next week which I guess is a good reason not to clean them in his mind but I feel like you should bus tables as long as your seating customers but maybe thats just me. I was hungry and ate anyway but if you want clean you might try the waffle house across the street. It was 5 PM and plenty of staff standing around and I had to refuse sitting in the food twice and still have rice in my seat. Please see the photos. Food crumbs on every single surface.
Was very good had Sweet and sour chicken with brown rice egg drop soup Dragon Oolong tea. Our server Willy was very pleasant and kind would request him next time. The only thing I had a problem was the hostess was not very nice and didnt smile. When we ask to sit at booth instead table she went right past the open booth and walked back up to the hostess stand. Other that it was a pleasant experience overall.
Worst experience! Really want to leave less than a star but I really like this place! Last night we had the worst server! She never once came back to our table after our food came, and she wasnt the one that brought it out so really we saw her once to order and one when she handed the check. Our entire meal we had no drink refills. Waited a really long time for our food and she never once gave us an update.Left such a bitter feeling with us that I didnt even know if we want to return! So sad and upset.
The floor was dirty at our table. The man cleaning tables used a dishrag and then went straight to handling clean dishes as he set the tables. Both of our dishes had an off taste...almost think the chef messed up the recipe. The food was barely edible. The ambience is dark and dreary. The service, however, was excellent. We will not return.
3/4 of restaurant open. Waiting at least 5 minutes for a table. Not enough servers on, our waitress was overwhelmed with 4 tables.Watched manager just sit in corner by bar talking to bartender. Never walked around the dining room except to drop off a form at a VIP table.Food was amazing though. Everything else was frustrating and a shame considering the price point
We sat down and our booth seat was not pushed all the way together. My children said, yuck mommy look! I was totally disgusted. There was leftover food, paper and crayons! This restaurant use to have so much potential... NOT ANYMORE! Hostess are dry and seem confused! Our waiter was very accommodating and prompt. Im sure if management has changed but I probably wont be visiting again!
Our experience tonight was terrible. The restaurant was mostly empty at 7 pm. Still, it took 23 minutes for a server to come to our table only after my husband stopped one of them and asked for service. It took another 15 minutes for our drinks to come and another 15 minutes for our drinks from the bar to come. The server apologized, and said he wasn’t told “this was his table”. I observed one server yawning (mouth wide open) right over a table, as well as scratching himself as he was placing silverware on the table. For $150 I would expect a great deal more...we won’t be back.
Me and my husband and children decided to try this restaurant today. We were told that there was no wait. However we waited 15 minutes for the hostess/manager to set up a table. I glanced in the resteraunt after 10 minutes and it was mostly empty. All the tables were already set up. When she came back she took two other people behind us. A few minutes later she finally seated us. We waited 20 minutes and no one ever came to our table despite several waiters and waitresses at tables next to ours. No even offered water and when we finally got up and left after seeing other folks who came after us being served....no one said a word. A waitress next to our table even bumped into my husband as we left. Awful.
I went to a party here yesterday and the waiter was very nice. But the food tasted terrible and the food was cold. Also the day before the party we brought cupcakes for them to hold for the party. Once it was time for the party we opened up the box full of cupcakes and someone ate one of the cupcakes. And it took an hour for the food to get ready and they got it wrong. My experience was terrible.
We ordered an order totaling $118.00, waited for our food and when my husband went in to get the order, the lady at the counter told Him she gave away our entire order to another man with a similar name who only paid $50. I know that guy was excited to see the bonus dinner he received but we are all very livid! Now we have to wait another 25 minutes for our order!!!!
I went to PFChang while visiting family in Augusta. The service and food was extremely awesome. Our waitress (Kerry )was top notch. She exemplifies true professionalism and knows how to treat and greet customers. Down to her hug was genuine when me and my family was leaving. I’ll certainly stop by again when I’m in Augusta. Thank you for your service and great food.
I ordered food during the covid 19 crisis. The food was ready during the time we were told and the attendant was friendly. However the food was entirely different story. My son ordered the spicy chicken and i ordered the shrimp with lobster sauce. My son told me that the food was just okay. When he tells me is ok, that means it was not good. My shrimp with lobster sauce was just plain nasty and plain. The lobster sauce had not flavors. The sauce looked like a gelatinous substance you find in a hardware store and it has not flavor, not even the shrimp. It was disappointing because they are usually not this bad. I would reccomend them after the crisis but not right now.
After waiting an hour to be seated, it was a other hour and 20 minutes before our one of our meals arrived. The waiter stopped by our table one to inform us that our meal would only be a few minutes, 30 minutes later our meals still did not arrive. Our waiter came by our table one more time and stated they did not bring out your order like I asked them to. Finally after another 15 minutes our remaining two orders came to the table however, still incomplete.
I was expecting more authentic Asian food. It was all a big disappointment. Just another chain restaurant with overpriced food.If you have allergies, dont come here! Our waiter was nice and kept checking up on us but our food was served an hour after we ordered, it was a Wednesday night and the place was empty. The coconut curry I ordered was not a curry at all just a big plate with huge chunks of raw and undercooked steamed vegetables. There was no liquid whatsoever. I ordered rice on the side and it was undercooked and bland. The egg that I ordered was water down and tasteless. The ambiance was okay, but the food and wait made everything annoying. The dessert was delicious, it was the only good thing about the whole experience.
Service has always been great here, as is the food. I personally sit in the bar area to take advantage of deals and the lighter atmosphere (literally, its less dark than the dining room which has a far more romantic vibe - perfect for a date). Ive been coming to P.F. Changs since I was a kid and the Augusta location does not disappoint.

2022-03-15First time ever eating at this restaurant and must say its definitely a must. The staff were very nice and the food was very delicious. I started out with the dynamite shrimp I believe its what its called. It was very good. Would definitely recommend. I also ordered the sesame seed chicken. That was so delicious. Would also recommend that. Had enough for two people. I ended up with white rice, but switched to their fried rice. Their fried rice is probably some of the best Ive ever had at a restaurant. I could just order that and be content. They also had a sweet/sour dipping sause that was very tasty. I enjoyed that with just the rice. Overall would definitely eat here again and also other locations throughout the US.

2022-05-183 stars because I remember when it used to be 5. We went in and it was pretty empty. The desk said it would be a 25 min wait because they were short staffed. We opted to sit in the bar area at a high top side table so that we could sit sooner. All tables there were sticky. We moved and found another sticky one. Bartender wiped but not well. The bartender/server was nice, but she had too many customers for her to manage well. After we sat, more people came to the area and I knew right then it was going to be mediocre or worse experience. She was already struggling on cleaning and meet and greet. We got everything we needed, but we had to be very patient. At one point we were just waiting way too long for drink refills. Thirsty half of the dinner. The food was pretty good; we had no complaints with it. My favorite has always been the Mongolian Beef which was nice this time. I remember when it was amazing! We left feeling happy and full. I would go back but I hope to god they survive the weekends with being short staffed. I would be afraid to see how that works out if they get busy. The restaurant was messy and absolutely not as clean as I remember it being in the past. It used to be pristine! They don’t do any of the traditional things they used to do with the service. I miss that!

2021-12-11Fresh food, come here if you are starving and craving Chinese cuisine because they serve large portions. Located right outside of the Augusta Mall, close proximity to a nice shopping area.

2022-05-24This was our first visit to this restaurant, and we were not disappointed. We only had to wait a few minutes to be seated after arrival. The whole restaurant was clean and well maintained. The food was great, but the star of the show was our server, Joe.Joe was an absolute delight and very attentive to our needs while we were there. Joe was courteous, professional, and left us with the impression of someone who truly enjoyed what they were doing. We will definitely visit this restaurant again - and well be asking to sit in Joes section!

2022-06-17First time eating at a PF Chang’s…. It was really good. The lettuce wraps and fried green beans were super tasty. Michaela, our server, was great! She was able to answer my questions with her own personal opinions on the food and drinks. She recommended the Sake Warrior. It was a superb recommendation. I will definitely be drinking that drink again in my future.I would give it a 5 stars but the air conditioning was out so it wasn’t the most comfortable experience.

2022-06-11This was my second time dining in here (my boyfriend’s first). I thought I had good service the first time, but this time was just amazing. Our server Michaela was literally the sweetest person on earth. She allowed us to be very comfortable and gave us plenty of time to order and go over the menu. She tended to us very well! Overall a cozy spot for date night :)

2021-12-07They were very busy but very accommodating. The food was very good and neatly arranged. They also had a special table arrangement for our special occasion. Would recommend to family and friends. Would recommend the pecking duck.

2022-05-25Michaela is quite possibly the best server I have ever had. She did not forget anything that we asked for, our drinks were always filled, and she was overall outstanding! She overheard me tell my boyfriend that he chooses the appetizer since it is his birthday, and she brought out a piece of cake without me mentioning it to her directly. Phenomenal service.

2022-05-08The Male hostess was very sweet and shows me how to access the menu, he mention he wanted to bring his finance to the restaurant and done that was a very personable moment he shared. It was our first time there. The server Tina was very patient with us and the ordering process. She offered examples of items on the menu that would be of interest to me. She kept all our drinks filled without having to be asked and it was very business on this Sarurday night. She made sure we were pleased with our dishes. Food was delicious as well. 10/10 based on the food, restaurant, server and hostess.

2022-01-03To be honest... I had never had P.F. Changs and all the hype over it..I was excited. However, if this location reflects the company as a total and the way they want their restaurants to run, I will not eat there again.1. It was way too expensive for the quality of food we received. We got panda express quality for double the price.2. The wait was too long for the amount of people in the restaurant. (We didnt even come during a rush)3. We had to keep asking for refills (our pet peeve at restaurants)4. The group of 4 that got seated just ahead of us ended up walking out because the waitress didnt even acknowledge them. When the host and another team member discussed it their exact words were They were only there 8 minutes! If a waitress hasnt at least acknowledged you in 8 minutes... there is a problem.
