PGA TOUR Superstore in other cities:
Requested for lost of a receipt with a previous purchase on 4/25/22 , a man at the golf-counter immediately said that they have lost all customers previous transactions in the system. Not sure if this was true. Do NOT purchase from this location if you are not good with keeping physical copy.
Lots of choices in clothes shoes balls and clubs. I guess you would say they had everything you need for gf and tennis. Prices were a little high but thats to be expected in this day and time. Otherwise its just a retail store. But they could have put it somewhere thats easier to get to. Location is awful.
Was looking forward to picking out a new driver and putter since they seem to have a large selection. What they dont offer is customer service. I was looking at drivers for 25 minutes. Not a single employee greeted me or offered to help me spend money in their store. It felt like a country club since all the nets were being used without staff paying attention and those customers laughing and having grand old time. Good news though, other places sell golf equipment. Maybe this place can manage to stay open since their employees might need the money. But watch out, the internet can chew up no service brick and mortar stores.
Drove out their from Clemson SC a few weeks ago to check on some irons and inquire about a driver. It took literally almost 30 minutes for someone to recognize me and ask if I needed help with anything. I was going to get fitted and when I took a few swings and was asking about other clubs and shafts the rep insisted that I stay with the first club I tried as if he didn’t want to take the time to let me try the others. I’m in sales and know how the whole show works but that was just poor customer service. I live about 2 hours away from their and went their because I had bought some mizuno mp-20 a few years back and had such a great experience then. I would love to come back and hopefully receive that kind of experience but after last time my hopes are not too high. Hope they get this fixed. I like the store but my last trip was def far from a 5-star visit.
I Waited over 30 minutes to be fit for a hybrid. Only 2 of the 4 hitting bays were occupied. When I tried to warm up and find the few clubs that I wanted to test out I was quickly told that I needed to wait for my name to be called. When I finally was called back to be fit they only had 1 shaft available to try in my flex. Im a tournament golfer that unfortunately has to frequent this store because its the only golf retailer nearby in atlanta. Ive never had a quick, pleasant experience at this store.
Employees are more interested in talking to each other than customers. My wife and I walked around the whole store and were not greeted once. We probably walked by six associates and not once received a hello. You guys might want to teach some 30/10 rule which is basic brick and mortar sales.
Recently came in for a fitting for a new driver and Riley was outstanding. He helped break down what shaft and head would fit my swing type the best. Since getting my new driver, Ive added on at least 25 yards to my drives. He was extremely patient with me as I tried all sorts of combinations, eventually landing on the Ping G425 LST. He showed me the numbers, and why it was the right club and shaft choice for me.Thank you again Riley, I will be back to get fitted for a new 3 wood very soon!!
I had come to grab my father a new custom fitted driver. Waited about 20 minutes by the bay while I waited to be assisted. Watched one guy flirt with a girl across the hall, and had every employee ignore me while they walked about. It got to the point I had to walk to the front of the store to have someone come to help. He said he had less permission so I have to speak with one of the other guys, whose answer was its first come first serve, come back later or wait. I guess it’s a privilege and honor to have one of these guys come and grace their presence for me spending my money. Worst shopping experience of this year by far.
Great customer service from the moment you walk in the door, and the store is following all the health and safety protocols to keep everyone safe. The associates are very knowledgeable about the products and offer great advice depending on your needs and swing and golf game. With regards to products, they have anything a golfer might want or need. It is a one stop shop for all your golf needs. And what they do not have in stock, they have the ability to order and have it shipped to your home. Definitely the best option for a golfer’s shopping needs.
Did a studio fitting with Stan Garner, couldnt have asked for a better experience. The facility is top notch--clean, high tech, and has a wide array of custom options. Stan, specifically, was excellent. He seemed just as invested as I was to find my fit. He took his time finding the right fit, never rushing me or forcing a club/shaft. Would recommend.
My wife and I signed up for a full bag studio fitting at the Lawrenceville, GA location over two days. I cannot begin to expand on the professionalism of both Jake Scheiderer and Stan Garner in making this experience 100% rewarding. Rewarding in that there was no push to sell something, only a desire to get the most out our golf games. Then add in the cost, a mere $149, and the experience was one of the best values Ive ever had. Professionalism combined with state-of-the-art technology and simulation (isolated and separate hitting studio) produced the perfect combination of Driver, fairway metals, hybrids, irons, and putters that has improved our golf game. The best part was the ability of Jake and Stan to get the most out our existing clubs before we went onto the newer clubs. To attest to their putting the needs of the customer first over trying to sell (like many other places), they were able to optimize (different settings) my wifes driver and my fairway woods to where they did not need upgrading. I can go on-and-on about our experience, but needless to say we highly recommended them to our friends and golf buddies. If you want to lower your scores and have your golf buddies wondering what has gotten into you with lights-out golf that you will be playing, then it is worth your time and money to pay a visit to Jake and Stan in Lawrenceville. Trust them, we did, you will too.
I would never choose to shop here. I spent time looking for a driver and was treated disrespectfully by staff. I was actually made to feel as if it was a burden for them to help me.I now need club repair and am going out of my way not to go here, I would suggest you do the same.
The customer service at PGA Superstore @ Newpoint Pkwy in Lawrenceville Ga is incredible. I shop here very frequently and have only had great service every time. It starts at the top with the GM- Michael and The AM - Steve Evans. Steve has helped me on numerous occasions. He is only worried about the customer, making sure they are happy with their purchases and getting what they need to make them better. He takes a very hands on, personal approach. Outstanding person. The rest of the staff is excellent as well. Always very helpful. The golf lessons with Michael Thomas has been great and has really improved my game! Keep up the great work.
I did not like the service I received at the PGA superstore. It was very poor, at most I can say the staff was very evasive and seemed to avoid me. The person I was with was also shocked and taken aback and asked me to leave the store because no one wanted to assist us. I wanted to try some clubs, so I was asked to sign up to test clubs, and when I went to the front there was no waiting list. So they decided to start one and they gave me an elotronic device to alert me when someone was ready to attend to me. Take note I am first on the list. I waited for about 25min before I finally decided to go home. Let me assure you that the experience was embarrassing and I will never shop there again. I have always bought my equipment from the pga superstores but I gurantee you I will have nothing good to say about them. All this stems from the treatment I received at that store. Its a shame.
Visited the PGA Superstore, Lawrenceville, GA this morning at 10:30 am to get fitted for new set of clubs. In the 45 minutes we were in the store not one store associate acknowledged us in anyway!!! Finally went to the front of the store and advised what we needed, was given a buzzer and told we were 1st in line; the buzzer never went off and we were never acknowledged. It appeared one gentleman came in the store after us and was browsing and a store associate stopped to help him. Needless to say horrible customer service. Saw many store associates doing nothing.
79 years old. Playing golf 65 years. Stuck in mid 90s. Went to PGA store in Lawrenceville. Stan Gardner spent 3 hours with me fitting all new clubs. First round shot 87. The store is great. Stan is patient and very knowledgeable. If you need a a golf fix, this is the place to go
I am a brand new golfer- and while visiting my father in GA, he took me to this store to get me fitted for a set of clubs, shoes, glove, etc. We were pressed for time, as my flight was leaving in several hours but nonetheless, we wanted to get me fitted while I was with my dad because he wanted to gift me with everything. We found a set that I really liked, and asked one of the male staff members for assistance with ordering the set online and shipping it to my house in Michigan, but this particular staff member was insisting that my father just order this on his own through his phone. My dad does not speak perfect English and was asking me what was going on. I was trying to explain to this gentleman that it would really help us out greatly if we could just order while we were at the computer with him, but he continued to insist we do this at home. Thankfully, the Operations Supervisor, Jeff Lockerman was listening nearby and approached us and kindly offered to order the clubs and ship them to my home. The price was also $100 less online, and he made sure to match this price. We were rushing out of the store so that I could get to the airport, and in a hurry, we accidentally left the box of shoes at the counter and upon contacting them about a week later, I was helped by Jeff again, who so kindly shipped the shoes to my home in MI without charging me. I had such a great experience although my circumstances were probably the least favorable for an employee haha. Jeff- thank you so much for your excellent customer service. Our ENITRE experience there was turned around for the better because of you. Your company needs to know that they have an outstanding employee who would go above and beyond, even if it inconvenienced you.
Recently I went in to get the loft changed on my 3 wedges the guy at the counter was very nice. He said it would be ready in about 10 minutes. So I walked around to check a Titleist cart bag Ive been looking online. It looked so much better in person that I bought it the same day.Went back up to the counter and my wedges were ready.. I asked him how much and he said youre good. Awesome.. what great service.. although my wedges were bought new 6 months ago. I read online that it was $5 per club to change lofts or lie.. Always a great experience there!!! Thank you guys
Visited store end of March. Purchased a Taylor Made M6 driver. Was assisted in fitting booth by Matt. Spent well over an hour monitoring me swinging the m5 and m6 Taylor Made clubs. He was patients and we tried four different shafts. He studied all the stats on the monitor and advised me on the best fit for my game. I felt very comfortable with the process. He processed the information and explained the best combination for me. walked over to the shoe department and purchased some nice Foot Joys with the help of Jeff. He found my correct size in the style I wanted. A very educational and enjoyable experience.
Shout out to Steve Evans, Riley and the crew at Lawrenceville! I had purchased Callaway Rogue irons and driver back in 2018 at Lawrenceville. The shafts started oxidizing. I called Callaway and they offered to replace the shafts at no cost but it would take 6-7 weeks. They suggested I give PGA Tour Superstore a call since I purchased them there. So I called and they said bring them down and they would take a look. So this past Saturday I drive down to the store from Gainesville. Steve greeted me at the door and he took over from there. I didn’t have the receipt so he had to take the time to go back and find my original purchase. Which he did. At that point he said they didn’t carry those in the store any more and he would see what else he could do. After he few mins he said that he would give me full credit for them and set me up to be fitted for new set of Mavrik irons. Absolutely the best customer service I have received in a long time. After 1 hour or so I walked out with brand new irons. I didnt have to wait 6-7 weeks since they had what I need after the fitting in stock. I would recommend anyone needing help with a new fitting, stop in and see these guys. You won’t be disappointed!! Thanks guys
I love this place. Its a toy store for golf lovers. Most of the employees are super helpful and seem to like working there. They have pretty good prices and frequent sales. Also, the practice range for 30 minutes at $9.99 is really a great deal and really helpful for your game.If you have younger kids they are the designated driver chip and putt spot for kids. They have two simulators dedicated to this - its very cool.Their fitters do a pretty good job on the drivers as well. Its crazy busy on the weekends though.
I thought I would be assisted once I entered the establishment. No one came by me and no one assisted. I walked around the store to see if someone would help me but no one ever came up. im disappointed as I am trying to pick up the game since I went to my first outing with veterans and had questions. Ill just rent some when I go again. Sucks Im a lefty cause my brothers in arms got a whole lot of right handed clubs..lol
You should check your credit card statement carefully after you return your products to this store. This store didnt refund but charge the amount of products again, so you will pay twice for your returned product. When I visited this store to fix this issue, the cashier treated me like a scammer. Online customer service is horrible too. You cant reach the customer service...I dont know why they have a contact info.
Overall experience at this place was amazingly terrible. As I entered the store, I was given an alarm and was told to wait until it rings. I waited 20min to get a driver fitted when #4 booth was empty and the employee was slacking the whole time. After I figure they had forgotten about me, I approached to the empty booth guy and asked for driver fitting.John at the fitting booth was the worst. He was keep giving a lesson with very disrespectful language and attitude although I didnt ask for a comment about my swing. After a few rude comments he left the booth and never came back so I left as well. DO NOT ASK FOR YOUR CLUB FITTING WITH JOHN KIM.
Im writing this on behalf of my wife, Kim, who doesnt regularly leave Google reviews, to express our appreciation for the service we both received today. After an unproductive fitting for my wife in the PGA Tour Superstore in Bluffton, SC, I posted a negative review. (My fitting there was great.) The General Manager for the Bluffton store contacted me to apologize and make things right for my wife. He set up a private appointment for her today at the Gwinnett store. The fitting today with Jane was top-notch. She listened to my wife, worked with her on irons and woods, and was patient and attentive every step of the way. Kim was able to buy with confidence, and we both will be loyal customers of this store. Well done to Mr. Fuentes in Bluffton and to Jane in Gwinnett.
Tennis stringing overpriced. Asked for a tension, stringer instead gave me what he felt was right. Total waste of money, and instead of offering a refund for labor, they asked me to come back again! Not the first offense, just look up local tennis shops for your tennis needs.
Poor customer service. Went in there to buy a Callaway driver, fairway woods, and irons set (approximately $1,800). Initially someone taped 3 clubs and put me in a swing booth. The employee said she had to punch out and go home. I asked 2 employees to help when the simulator froze, but they could not help. One offered to find someone for me, but he never came back. I finally left the store without purchasing anything. I found that same employee at the front of the store messing with a box. I guess he forgot. I went in at 8 pm and left at 8:45. Very disappointing, but probably saved money in the long run. I will purchase online.
Wife and baby got me a gift card for Father’s Day and now I’m completely bummed I’m stuck with it.I walked in today with every intention of buying a 3 wood and had one in hand but put it back on the shelf and walked out because of how poor the customer service was. I felt like an inconvenience and couldn’t track anyone down to help.Keep up the good work guys, Amazon appreciates it.
This review is based on the pathetic staff (with two exceptions), rather than the store itself. In regards to the staff...the men that work in this store are an absolute joke. They think theyre above (better than?) any of the customers and act like youre an inconvenience being in their store. Ive never experienced that feeling before other than at this store. Look guys, if you were as good at golf as your arrogant attitude implies, you wouldnt be working at the PGA Superstore, I promise. So slow your role and quit acting like youre all that - because youre not. I cant remember the last time any of the men working at that store asked me if I needed any help.It blows my mind reading these reviews seeing time after time people complaining about the staff, yet you continue to see the same ole faces. Its a direct reflection of a poorly run store and most likely a sorry store manager. That being said, there are two ladies that work at this particular store that couldnt be any nicer. Theyre the only employees Ill even speak to. This issue has resulted in myself and many, many people Ive talked to shopping online rather than shopping at their store. Its their loss. If they want to stay in business, I suggest they get their act together.
Ive been a customer of this store years before it moved to Lawrenceville.Ive seen the good, the bad and the ugly. I hated this store, customer service was negative stars. I bought most of my gear at Edwin Watts, until it closed. This store has gone through management changes, as of this Feb, 2019, it seems to have improved, the oriental hardware guys have actually been helpful.Jane has always been a constant good employee and a big help. Seek her out for guaranteed positive results.Theres a couple others. Im embarrassed I dont remember their names. Will I shop there again? Yes. Ive learned who are the go getters.I gave this store 4 stars as of this moment.
PGA Tour Superstore-Lawrenceville is the best golf store around. All the associates work hard and are knowledgable. Specifically, Jeff Lockerm*n always goes out of his way to greet his customers, answer every question and makes sure your experience at this store is super and always the best. Hes true asset to the success of this company. The store always has the latest gear and attire from all the major brands. Do yourself a favor and check this place out!
Rude, inattentive, and unprofessional. Next time, dont bring grasses just because I wore a pair of shoes with some dried grass clippings stuck in the spikes was what I was told from the fitting staff when I was leaving after a very inattentive and unhelpful fitting session. Oh, I shouldnt call it a session because he was not with me (mentally and physically) during the entire 30 minutes. Sorry to make the fitting area floor a little bit grassy. Come on, I am your customer. Maybe not so much to your eyes but I have spent more than $2000 at your place and have brought many friends to you. Next time, bring your attention to me. Oh, maybe there is no next time for you. Good luck with your business.
Its not worthy to give even one star rating. My husband and I spent over $200 for golf balls and towels. We asked for 8 small bags first and were refused. So we asked for just one more bag. The cashier made us to wait for the manager. We met a very rude cashier and a female store manager. The manager was the worst one I ever met. No more PGA store for shopping.
Really good selection, and good help from the club repair & service desk. Just seems like something is missing compared to the old store at previous location, and the clothing/shoe areas are kind of scattered about without much consistency...makes it challenging to find a certain brand or style of shoe or shirt.
This store has a history of not being able to staff a PGA teaching professional. It has been over 5 months and they still cant get a Pro on staff. Maybe Author Blank should spend time in his golf store. Interesting that the will still take your money for golf lessons package.
While I have not always had the best experiences in the past, today I stopped by with somewhat of a difficult return and the Store Manager, Anna could not have been nicer. The phone was ringing off the hook, she had a line of people and she was able to handle it all without a problem. Usually, I compare online prices of other stores vs PGA Superstore prices, but you can not put a number on the level of service that I received today. Thank you, Anna!
Super friendly folks and really nice to my young kid they let him watch the re-gripping and then hit in the bay. They Always re-grip on the spot with a smile. I am so glad to have this kind of golfing mecca just a few minutes down the road! Thanks guys and job well done.
Customer Service is nothing but worst. Every time I come here for a customer care I regret that I should had driven longer to go to another store. But will not make this mistake again. It is their way or no way there’s no customer way. Think twice if you have to drive five or 10 miles longer to go to another store do so for your own benefit.
The PGA Superstore has the worst customer service. No one ever has time to assist you. The stores original manager departed to another location and ever since this time the service is awful. I wanted to purchase a shaft and needed to look at a picture to order the product; the young lady, whom is an assistant manager, refuse to go online and show me the options, but stated I should look on my phone and figure it out. Thanks , I will not be back, your service SUCKs!!!
The employees are so pathetic. They always act like youre an inconvenience for being there much less for asking to hit on the simulators. Get over yourself and do your job. The manager here must be completely clueless as to the reputation of this store. It will fail if the employees dont learn about customer service.
The customer service was absolutely terrible. I was in the store for 30 mins and not one time was I greeted. There were 3 staff members at the front upon my entering and not once was I acknowledged. This is the second location where I have experienced poor customer service. I will not buy anything from this company.
Online customer service center never answers.Terrible horrible service line.Emailed hundreds of times and never got reply. Was on the phone for a week all day and they would never answer.Don’t understand at all for a simple thing!Still trying to reach them.Very very frustrating.
Has some quality items in the store. The workers don’t seem to want to help. Just spent 45 minutes in the store no one greeted me or asked if I needed help. I get it if it was busy but there were only a few customers in the store. :/ other than that the store has everything you need if you’re beginning or upgrading.
Worst Costumer service I have every experience.. I went in the store looking for a new set of clubs and no seem like they wanted to help. Even after asking three staff members for assistance they said they will be right with me and 45 minutes later I decided to leave the store.
First/Last time spending a dime in this store....weve patronized Edwin Watts for almost 20 yrs....never an issue....come here bc I dont feel like driving & its been a nightmare ever since.....#CustomerService is lacking to say the least....why spend money where youre not valued....#MyPurchasePaysYourSalary....
Dont only where the tennis equipment.Previous and indoor courts disappear unfortunately naseoneunWhere a large variety of live tennis products.Tennis degree of preparation and also gives occasionally send coupons.Of course, the coolest babot lats or Wilson same thingBut do not discount, recipe writing well.Reporting sabogo want to grab a racket Order Order also easy with the Internet is not easy.In Fig. 2 to 3 demo racquets can test. The people who work there selling tennis equipment jaltong ridiculous as those who love to play tennis, and makes recommendations well.Moving towards the Lawrenceville location was changed to come

2021-12-29Met with Stan GARNER today for a custom fitting for my youngest Son. Very professional and honest. Provided the clarity we were looking for and will be returning next week for a follow up visit and fitting. Stan was more interested in exceeding expectations and in preparing my Son for a life time rather than a quick sale. Stan made my Son feel comfortable as a beginner. We would highly recommend Stan for first time golfers as well as experienced golfers. Kudos to Stan GARNER!

2022-01-16Do not buy clubs here!! Worst buying experience of my life. Got custom fitted for 2 hours, spent almost 2k with driver. Was told irons would arrive before Thanksgiving. Ops, not so after having to call to figure out the status. “Sorry”, looks like you will get them before Christmas. Ops, “sorry” after I had to chase them down again. “Looks like new ETA on January 15 2022. Ops, “sorry” after having to chase them down again. “No idea when theyre going to arrive”. “So Sorry”. The store and it’s management are SORRY BUT they were very happy and efficient in canceling the order. Bravo - completely incompetent. Great at giving excuses and placing blame. Except RESPONSIBILITY and make it RIGHT! Sorry Doesnt cut it. Can’t wait to send my email stream to the President of PGA Superstore. Stay tuned as I wait to hear what the top of this organization has to say…

2022-01-14I scheduled a Studio Fitting with Stan. I looked at doing this at Dick’s, Golf Galaxy and another company but decided to go with the PGA Superstore after speaking with an employee over the phone. He strongly recommended doing the full experience of a Studio Fitting and encouraged me to book with Stan. I am so glad I did this. Awesome experience from the full simulator, all the detailed data and Stan was the best part. Super personable, encouraging and extremely knowledgable. He not only matched me with a great driver but provided me with tons of helpful tips and information. The Studio Fitting was very worth it…and it cost me nothing since I bought a drive after the fitting. If you are looking to get matched for the ideal club, you need to really do this. Stan is the man!

2022-02-13About 6 months ago I got fitted for a new set of irons by Won Mun at the PGA store in Sugarloaf. Phenomenal experience. I love the clubs I ended up with and I really enjoyed the fitting itself. Won is just a great guy. After that, I decided to do a driver fitting too. Same experience. Had another great time AND I can now consistently find the fairway 300 yards out. Having two good experiences led me to start taking lessons from Won. That’s been something a sixth star would be nice to have for. I take my 8 year old son with me and he’s become Won’s “assistant coach.” Won treats my son like he treats me. And that means more than anything. More than the brilliant swing tweaks, more than the amazing clubs. I can’t recommend Won enough to anyone looking for a fitting or lessons, no matter your handicap. Can’t go wrong.

2022-06-20My 17 year old son had a golf studio fitting with Won Mun on 6/2/22. He was very knowledgeable and my son felt very comfortable with the fitting. He ordered the clubs that day and they were delivered to the house in less than 2 weeks. He is very pleased with the new clubs and service he received from Won. He plans to go for a putter fitting next.

2022-03-24I went today to get a fitting. Granted, it was a bit of a last minute thought. I have been to other fitters in the area, so I was really wanting to test out the superstore fitting. The fitter, who shall not be named (I can give details if corporate even cares), didnt even see me swing once. He looked me up and down, judged me based on appearance alone, then disappeared. Didnt even hit one ball. I walked out. I have been to country clubs that people think I dont belong in. This is an archaic way of thinking, and I dont think I deserve treatment from a big box store.

2022-04-02First met Won last fall for a putter fitting. He and Stan combined to fit me for a putter that has changed my game. Lesson learned. Take the time to get fit. Take a look at the numbers. Read them and weep. But rejoice because the numbers don’t lie. And have the guts to follow the science. This year I went back for an iron and ball fitting. Again these two have tag teamed to help me choose outstanding irons and the ball that fits my game. Highly recommend them.

2022-06-02I visited the Lawrenceville, GA location for a club fitting. Considering this was a walk-in, free service I didn’t really have my expectations too high. I’m a novice golfer and really just wanted some advice on upgrading my starter set of Callaways and making sure I have clubs that are sized right for my general swing and frame. I attempted to meet with a few local, small shops and got the brush off from the boys club pros. There just really arent many resources out there for a female golfer. After a short 5 min wait I was paired with DJ. Here we go. I explained my goal and my 20ish handicap and was expecting to get the eyeroll, quick spiel and the blow off. I could not have been more pleasantly surprised! DJ was so very professional, patient and helpful!! He carefully went though my inconsistent swing. He took the time to truly understand my goals for my game, my next step in progress and even offered some very valuable pointers. Not once did he appear condescending, which has been my experience at other shops. His communication was so on point, even when critiquing my technique, he did so in a very uplifting manner. I genuinely wasn’t expecting to make a purchase; however, after his guidance I left with a new set of Callaway Rouge ST MAX OS Lite irons/hybrids and coordinating driver ($1900 later)….and am THRILLED to hit the course to break them in. I am so very grateful for the time and attention DJ gave me today. My father, and golf coach, was with me and he intends on returning in the very near future to have DJ do the same for him and purchase a new, upgraded set for himself. All too often people are eager to complain about a negative experience and I wanted to take the time to share a positive one. I cant speak for all the staff, and I dont plan to, Ill be requesting DJ from now on!!!

2022-05-14Recently completed a complete bag fitting with Won Mun. The entire process was amazing and an incredible experience. He listened to what I was looking for and helped me find what was right for me. Will definitely be going back to him for any club fitting things in the future.
