Their home baked pies and cakes are to die for! Super yummy. A good place to get a big tasty burger or a meat and two veggies. Friendly staff and owner too so we will make this a weekly stop. They are open for breakfast and lunch.
We stopped here while passing through town, and are so glad we did. Great food, great prices, and great conversation with the owner during our visit. Their deserts are delicious too. We will definitely be back!

Stopped by in the middle of a 9 hour road trip. Food was awesome and the staff was super friendly. My two old twins LOVED the black eyed peas.
Small diner-style eatery. Small menu. Very affordable. Friendly staff that really make you feel at home, super polite. There is only 2 tables and the rest is bar seating. I cant recommend it enough. My wife and I split the junkyard tots (tater tots, pulled pork, bbq sauce, cheese, optional slaw and/or chili) and we had a piece of strawberry cake (that was absolutely perfect). I look forward to coming back and trying the burgers or a daily special.
Meat and veggies of the day cafe. Check the boards on the side walls for your options. Food was good. Portions were hardy. Good value for the money. Servers were attentive. Most of the seating is at the u shaped bar where the proprietor holds court with the regulars. There are two small tables at the front.
Food was very tasty and affordable. Breakfast order filled quickly. Server needs a bit more training as I had to ask for basics ie straw for water, water refill, silverware, syrup. Barstool counter style place, mostly locals but quiet and clean. Will return for meat 2/3. Daily specials. Black walnut cake but didnt try it.
We got a meat and 3 sides for $6.99. Price cant be beat! I got the cubed steak w/ Brown gravy, mashed potatoes, fried okra, and fried cabbage. Large portions were given, I couldnt even eat it all for lunch. Everything was tasty and home country cooking! Peanut butter w/chocolate cream pie was $2.99 and delicious!
Stopped by for a quick lunch and got the best ribeye steak Ive had in years! Nothing fancy but a great steak at an better price!
If you are looking for great food in a friendly atmosphere this is the place. Pull up a stool to the U shaped penny counter and enjoy the banter between the staff and regulars. The desserts are phenomenal!
Was there today small place but it was a place where everybody knew everybody they make you feel welcome food was yummy for my tummy if you are close by stop in ask for JIm he will make you feel welcome

Went in for lunch. Prices were great, service was awesome and friendly. There are two daily special entrees, and about 6 daily special sides. Also has a full menu of burgers, hot dogs, and sandwiches. Food was hot and delicious, and the chicken tenders were hot out of the fryer and were the best tenders I have put in my mouth in a long time.

2022-06-18My husband and I are from Georgia, so we know a bit about Southern hospitality. We were headed to Barnesly Gardens (lovely, btw) and he was so excited to get some home cookin at this place. We loved the little town. Walked in the restaurant, saw three or four empty tables covered with dirty dishes. Several bustling employees, but zero eye contact or acknowledgment whatsoever. Horrible. Will never go back. Southern folks otta know better.

2022-01-02This is a pretty alright, little olplace.Its small and quaint.They have a set burger and dog menu then generally offer another couple different items every day. They do breakfast, same thing, gotta a set menu and offer different things. Pancakes and ribeyes on Fridays. Wasnt disappointed in the ribeye.Price is what kinda attracted me to the place,.... But theyre going up on prices, still cheaper than the competitors, but not by much at this point.They have a regular group of characters that go there in the mornings,.... pretty comical, think Grumpy Old Men.Eh, it is what it is.I was about to give it 3 stars, but decided to be nice and give the fourth.________________________________________I took away the stars because after having been there so many times, I think its ridiculous to have to wait an hour for toast and eggs. My friend and I just dont see the point in paying so much, waiting so long, and having to deal with a snarky waitress/hostess/owners daughter.

2021-10-12Small meat and 2/3 restaurant with some awesome desserts.1st time in there today. I ordered the Philly steak. It was really good. The soft hoagie roll was toasted perfectly. Lots of meat and veggies on the sandwich.I kept seeing references for the buttermilk pie, so I ordered a slice. Best decision of the day. Apparently it just came out of the oven. It was warm and delicious.If I am up near Adairsville again, I will stop there for lunch.

2021-08-11Had lunch here today and their Chicken & Dressing with gravy was delicious. Finished it off with some homemade Peach Cobbler. Great food, great people. Will be back.
