Poor customer service. Kevin wasnt willing to help me at all. The manager who he called wouldnt help at all either. Called me home location and nothing is or ever was wrong with me account. Will not let you use any other equipment besides working out.
Nice, clean gym. Great large showers. Only slight problem is that the shower I used had a slight drainage problem. Great gym
The staff is very pleasant and has always answered any questions I have had. They are there if you need them.
The gym was great just one issue gaps in bathroom stalls WAY TOO BIG. I took a few pictures as evidence you can literally see everything and everyone can see you behind the stall. No privacy very very inappropriate. Please fixed immediate
I went into this feeling really deflated and almost brand new to a gym experience. I didnt know what exercises to do or how to begin.The trainer working at this location helped me by building a weekly set of machines and exercise routines to follow so I can achieve my goals.Now Im entering feeling confident and ready to tackle my own fitness.Thank you!
My Planet Fitness is a clean and friendly staffed facility. I do enjoy the conversations and interactions with all members. I would highly recommend this business to any of my family and friends for general fitness requirements. My only issue is with the excessiveness of cardio equipment. Planet Fitness is a modern day facility, but seems to lack room for growth due to so much unneeded equipment. Or maybe I just have more use for the weight side, which is always crowded during the busy hours. You have to wait in line to use the bench and Smith Press areas, never a wait to use the treadmills. And just rounding off the end of my conversation; I also believe, as a company, the image of the lunk should be removed for non judgmental reasons. Lunks have feelings too! Lol!

I was visiting out of state so I visited several Planet Fitness’s between Columbus, GA and Phenix City, AL. I was pleased with the cleanliness of the facility and the staff was very pleasant. They greeted everyone and made you feel welcomed!
Friendly staff and great machine options! Finally getting myself back in the groove, and Ive never felt more comfortable at a gym than this one. I also highly recommend getting their Black Card to fully use their facilities!
Small gym with different machines, but excellent showers.
I absolutely love it here. I have scoliosis that compresses the nerves next to my spine, so Im working to strengthen the muscles next to my spine and my back in general until I can undergoe surgery and have an easier recovery. The machines here are all very simple to use and each kind has a visual guide placed on them. Ive never come here and seen anything dirty, its always extremely clean and well maintained. They play good music if you forget your headphones, and the staff has never been anything but courteous and helpful. The massage chair does wonders for my back and I LOVE using it after a workout. The atmosphere is great. Ive been to a few other gyms and Ive never felt comfortable, but I do here. Keep up the great work guys.

Just started a membership. The staff was really friendly and helpful assisting me in the start up process. Super clean relaxed environment. Sanitizer bottles at each workout area so you can clean the equipment after each use

I was visiting from out of town for the week and was surprised at how well this establishment was run. James at the front counter was extremely helpful with all my questions and ran down the process of guest passes and policies respectfully with great patience. I tried leaving a tip but he declined. Thank you Planet Fitness Columbus I’ll definitely be back on my next visit!

The staff is very friendly and helpful. Very clean and not too crowded. The planet fitness on hwy 280 in Alabama was my favorite but this one I think is becoming my new favorite!
They singled me out for talking on my phone, everybody else and their mama was talking on their phone nobody else was adressed but me so I feel attacked and singled out so I canceled my membership, I will never is it this location again or any other planet fitness on earth.And this is replying to the owner, all this happened in front of the manager who did nothing he did nothing he did not ask me what was going on and what was the issue and how could we solve it, so I Looked at him and told him to cancel my account and I gave him my number to cancel it with. And Javi, DELETE my comment Off of the Facebook page. So if you’re gonna be nitpicky about who’s on the phone with being on AirPods or holding the phone to her ear or whatever, put some “phone police”on the floor And make sure everybody is addressed, because it looks very targeted when it’s just me.

What a great gym! There is one gentleman who is at the front desk who greets me by name! I have a PF about 3 miles from my house but I choose to drive over 30 minutes to come here for ALL of my workouts. Note, the massage chairs and tanning reservations are done via computer not pen/paper which I prefer!!
The manager ,John, keeps the place in tip top shape and I feel safe with their cleaning practices. I was skeptical at first but I feel comfortable working out here. Masks are required. Thanks John for the great experience!
Have been going here for 2 years and I have no complaints. It is a good place for any level of working out and especially for beginners. They do get very busy at lunch time and from 5-7 when people are getting off work so be aware what time you go.
A few staff members that work the afternoon shifts lack people skills and dont make you feel welcomed. A stocky gentleman (staff) with a black beard enforces the rules, which is good, but he is really aggressive. I saw him inform someone that they couldnt occupy 2 machines and the member was obviously intimidated. But other than that, the gym is great. Morning shift workers are very friendly and polite. I wish there were more areas to do pull ups.

2022-08-04Great gym for beginners and gym vets alike. Staff very friendly. They do a great job of making myself and others I’ve observed feel welcome, almost encouraging energy. Sometimes others don’t clean their machines after use but I’ve seen staff always make sure machines are getting cleaned. Very spacious layout allows comfortability in workout regime, whether around others or privately. Sometimes will have to wait for machines, but preoccupied machines are usually ready to go in a timely manner and with so much equipment already in gym, there are plenty of things to do while waiting. Would highly recommend this gym. Very affordable as well whether that’s via classic or black card membership which offers many other amenities

2022-08-28Great customer service! Gym is well kept. Staff and members work together to keep the equipment sanitized and orderly. The staff is very knowledgeable and you can even catch staff exercising of thier work hours.

2022-04-20James on the night staff deserves 10 stars. 20/10 guy. Greets every guest. Cleans the whole place, willing to explain all the machines. Best employee they have period dont even need to know the others.

2022-06-08A decent facility but definitely could be a lot cleaner. The early morning staff is amazing but most of the rules are not enforced so there are lots of trainers that dont work for planet fitness that hog the machines with their workout groups.

2022-07-31Was a good location until COVID-19, now their hours dont fit my schedule (during the week I work with the military and a hospital and weekends are my main time to workout), much of the front desk staff I have spoken to as well as one manager are rude and unprofessional, and I am currently looking for a new gym (Im a black card member, but many PFs in AL and GA are becoming this way.) organization. (Although I honestly wish that PF would get their act together again.)

2022-08-13So i have been a black card member for several years but this weekend i tried to bring both of my sons with me. That was untill the counter person stopped me and said i was only allowed 1 guest. I politely tried to discuss that the gym wasnt busy and ive done this once before.I asked for the manager to possibly fix this issue but she said they left for the day. She was unapologetic and clearly busy on her phone. She smiled and said have a nice day. As we got in my truck to leave i remembered they had free summer passes for kids. Hmm i thought why didnt she think of this easy solution, her phone perhaps!We went back in and i asked another employee how to sign one of my sons up. He was helpful but unfortunately the internet was slow and the app even slower. I sat there with my kids for 20 min trying to sign them up to no avail . What happened to customer service! This situation i believe should have made way for an exception...

2022-03-05The staff allowed a non-member in who proceded to go to the locker room and steal several bags. When Asked how the individual got beyond them they said the individual said he was waiting on his brother. So they allowed him on back. I guess all you need to do to go work out at this location is to say you are waiting on your brother. I understand its Planet fitness is not responsible for items in left in the locker room. But it is their responsibility to ensure that everyone who gets beyond the front desk is a memeber and or Accounted for. So when incidents like this happen they can easily identify who the person might be. Bad form Planet Fitness.The Manager has our contact info but has not contacted us.

2022-06-15I love the equipment and the knowledgeable, friendly staff. In addition, given that my membership is free via Silver Sneakers through Medicare, I love them to death! :-)
