This Planet Fitness is wonderful. It is clean and the staff is polite, but not overbearing. The location is always clean and the equipment kept up to date. They are very accommodating and cancellation is easy. I will definitely recommend this place! When I’m ready to have a gym membership again, I will start here.
This is a wonderful gym, plenty of equipment, not crowded at the times I go, I dont go during peak hours. Staff is friendly and always says hello when you come in and leave out. Its always clean, everyone follows the wipe down equipment rule and lots of cardio machines! This is my preferred PF gym :-)
Tried cancelling my membership the other day due to joining a gym that actually has free weights and more than basic equipment, but was told I have to go back to my home gym to cancel, even though I no longer live in that area. Not sure why its so difficult cancelling a membership here, but there are tons of gyms out there that are much better than PF. Would only recommend if you just want to hop on a treadmill every once and a blue moon.
I love this location! Other locations are pretty busy and crowded, sometimes it cant be helped, but this one has enough machines and space for me to complete my workout. Thanks to the front desk crew for being welcoming and keeping the place clean!
Great place to workout. Plenty of cardio and weight machines. Never too busy. I go between 7-9:am
We LOVE this gym! The staff is very, very approachable and helpful. We are not original members of this location and live in a separate city, but we drive here for the pleasant staff and REALLY clean facility. Thank you so much for offering a welcoming atmosphere for EVERYONE. I can not say enough good things about this location ❤
Cant help but wonder if theyre doing their very best here. The employees seem to be part time students or inattentive volunteers? The equipment is fine, its fine, but things get sticky on the membership end.
This PF is always so clean and the staff are super friendly!
Nice gym and a convenient location for me but the women’s restroom is always filthy, and members rarely wipe down the machines after they use them. The staff are also not too helpful with the equipment. Cleanliness and member support are very important to me at the gym. I may have to look elsewhere.
I love this gym so much I keep my membership, even though Im really disappointed this location closes early Friday-Sunday.. I can usually only come after 10pm which means I have to drive farther to another PF or not get my workout in. Other than that theyre great. Joe on night shift is the bomb and the massage beds/chairs are what I look forward to after a long day.

Updated 2020. Totally insane. Not requiring members to wear masks. Desk staff does not have goggles on. How do you ensure your machines are clean. No temperature taken at the beginning of the workout. Force me to come in person to quit.
I used to never have a problem with this place. Come in, work out, leave. And after 2.5 years of coming here they decided to charge me for a month THEY failed to charge me for from a year and half ago. They should have charged me for it then not now. They dont know how to handle money, and clearly didnt care that they were wrong. And thanks to Kevin for giving me a reason to cancel my membership. Nice job dude...
I recently joined this gym and I have been to other gyms in the past including LA Fitness and Planet Fitness is the best and I have fallen in love with this place. The staff is always friendly and available to help you. With the black card membership you get to use the tanning, body enhancement, the hydro massage and massage chairs; and of course work out on all the machines they have. Best gym Ive ever been to!
Friendly staff, super clean, great music, brand new equipment, and really nice set up. The place is spacious with a few separate rooms that focus on different parts of your body and a whole lot of cardio and strength training options on the main floor. Its open 24/5 on weekdays but has only select hours on weekends, and thats the only thing I dont like about it. I would personally prefer it to be open 24/7 like the PF that Im already used to in Woodstock. But overall, great gym.
Great price, lots of equipment to choose from, and spacious. The only issue is the night manager keeps it way too warm that I feel sick I approached him about this and all he said was it was at 75 as if he couldnt change it. Also the staff could be more useful and stock up on the cleaning supplies from time to time
This is by far the nicest PF Ive ever been to. The staff is friendly, the equipment is amazing and black card perks are awesome. The tanning beds are equivalent to a turbo bed at a regular tanning salon. I could go on and on about this facility. Im so thrilled they built this one.
The gym is clean and staff is friendly just like all the other PF locations I’ve been to. I’d love to see more ab options, hip abduction machines, and some mats so I can lay on the floor and do exercises. I also love that they have the total body enhancement!
Cant say enough positive things about the PF on Canton Rd!!!!Dylan (manager/trainer) has been Awesome at not only helping me with my design your own program, but has also done all but one of the classes I have signed up for. He actually listened to what I wanted to accomplish in my workout programs. He seems to care about the individual (rare now days!!) The entire team at the Canton Rd location is super friendly and willing to help. Kudos to the Fabulous Team at Planet Fitness
My only complaint its too hot! im sure you all can afford to turn up the ac. like most PF this location is spacious, plenty of machines to choose from, clean, and the staff usually speak when leaving and exiting. In all PF has all the amenities i need for half the cost of the big boy gyms.
This is always my go to Planet Fitness location when I have the choice. The larger weight ranges for machines, clean facility and friendly staff make this site the absolute best I have been to in Georgia. My only gripe is the lack of a scale, but that is the standard for the company.

Zero stars. Me and my wife were poorly treated by their manager, Logan. Very rude and does not care about the customers as this establishment. Not understanding. And very argumentative. For this reason I am never and should have never attended this Planet Fitness location in the very first place. Go to the LA fitness up the street or any other PF in GA. I regret giving a single dollar to this establishment. Businesses need to be more than just making a dollar and keeping it. Treat your customers with respect, compassion, and understanding.
Edit: Cancelled my membership. Got charged a late fee(on automated payments) and next month. 2 years of membership and they only have a problem when I try to cancel? Shady.Brand new, equipment is great, no free weights which is a huge downer. Lot of adolescents. If youre trying to find a place to do sets, I would look elsewhere.
Extremely clean gym and very friendly laid back staff. Great deal if you just need a place to get your workout done. The hydromassage beds are my favorite feature.
Not many places make you happy to be hot and sweaty, but this is one.I wasnt expecting much from a 24 hour gym, and was pleasantly surprised to find a modern, clean facility with everything I was looking for, including space to grow as I expand my exercise routine.But, whatever youre into, from the simple 20 minute cardio elliptical session, to the hardcore training routine, they got you.
I love that they’re open 24/5. It’s really convenient for my schedule. I can even use the tanning beds at like 11 o’ clock at night. I just wish they’d do away with the lunk alarm. I’m not a body builder - but for a gym to have such a strong “no judge” policy and for them to turn the alarm on when someone lets out like one grunt is really messed up. I was offended, and if someone did that to me, I’d walk out and never come back. Also, there Are some odd people that come in because of the all hours, but there is always someone working I have never felt that unsafe if approached by someone who I wouldn’t normally want to be approached by- if you know what I mean.
Clean environment, good new equipment, friendly staff. The only reason I knocked a star off is because sometimes the paper towel dispensers are out of paper towels, and it can make it difficult to wipe down the machines before and after use.
A convenient and clean place to get in a workout in the Marietta area. They have plenty of machines available - treadmills, bikes, steps, weight machines and free weights - but it was pretty busy during our visit. Friendly staff, new equipment in general great gym
I received an email stating they would show me the gym. I had to ask about everything. Online they had ear plugs and said you could buy them at the gym. They had zero earplugs and the vending machine was broke anyway. I am cancelling. No instructors for the classes and the class times do not work for people who work all day.
When I signed up for my black card membership, I told them I’d be moving in 6 months, and confirmed 4 times that I’d be able to transfer my membership. 1. Because I’m still within my first year of signing up, I can’t transfer it. 2. In order to cancel, I have to pay for 3 months($58). When I went to the gym to cancel it, the guy lied straight to my face and told me I could transfer it by going to the new one you want to use, and if you read the website, you can only cancel in person or by certified mail, so if I had gone to the other gym, then the only way to cancel my membership would’ve been by mail, and who knows how many more months they would have charged me for in the meantime. So they try to screw you either way. GO TO ANY OTHER GYM!!! They’re just thieves and the gym isn’t even that great, they only really have cardio machines, and a few workout machines. They don’t offer any classes like yoga or pilates. Bottom line, avoid at all costs.
Staff was not helpful. No concern for the customer. Tried to make cancelling of a membership as difficult as possible. Called the day before to make sure we were cancelling correctly. They refused to be cooperative and honor the method described over the phone the day before. Shame on you.

It was difficult to figure out how they laid out their machines at this location. I couldnt find some that I was looking for and havent a clue if they just werent there or if they were hiding somewhere I wasnt looking. Very clean, guests seemed to wipe machines after themselves.
This is not my home gym but I have been a few times when I was in the area. Friendly staff. Clean facility. Lots of equipment choices. Great place to work out.

Constantly harrasing me asking me to wear a mask when leaving.... and asking if for my number when i walk in as a guest obviously with my boyfriend. Worst planet fitness location i’ve been too. DO NOT GO HERE
Shady. First thing the guy asked when I walked in the door to sign up was “Do you have your bank account number”. They really want direct access to your bank account. Tried to pay cash for the full year. They wanted to charge nearly twice the monthly rate to pay cash instead of providing a bank account.Unless you’re doing something shady, why would you prefer a bank account number instead of guaranteed cash funds upfront??Of course, it’s so they can continue to debit your account after you choose to stop going.Will never walk in there again!

This location (Canton Rd Marietta Georgia) is one of the best locations Ive been in Georgia. I workout here regularly. I just hate that they are not 24/7. The owner really needs to change to a 24/7 location.
The staff here are extremely nice and understanding to situations. There are tons of different machines to fit anyones workout. There are multiple of the same machine so that if one is in use there is still one to use.
Just had an amazing experience at this location after I left the horrible location in Atlanta on MLK drive. Mr. Louis at the front desk was nice & respectful. All other Planet Fitness locations CAN NOT compare to this location!
By far, the best planet fitness I have visited within my 10 years of membership. The facility is extremely clean and the staff were very pleasant upon entry and exit.
Just like I thought it was going to be, a membership that is a no commitment/no contract is charging for a eatly cancelation, go figure things that was never explained at the time of sign up, wondering why would they miss this part, let me see... Maybe they just trying to get you to sign and then screw you at the end. I just had a surgery and cannot workout, havent been in there for months, try to cancel until I get fully recovered and found out I would be paying cancellation fee for a no contract subscription . This is playing simple what I would like to call a group of thief that only care about money. If all it takes is a fee to get rid of a company that will hide some information to their convince then lets go a head and get it over with.. or should I just put a stop payment to this acc... Uuummm dont know... well see....
Its definitely not for serious strength training. But, its really convenient for what it is. And the cost is really acceptable. Were Black Card members and use the massage and tanning.
Clean facility and the staff is helpful. They do a good job keeping the gym sanitary and practice social distancing.

Just wondering why this gym closes early on the weekends. I transferred from a 24/7 gym when I lived and now I’m a little disappointed. It’s kind of a waste of money now since I can’t go on the weekends.

2022-02-23Love the Hydro massage and the Beauty Shake machine. Ive been going 3 and 4 days a week and scars Ive had from when I was a kid are disappearing! The Beauty shake has been making my skin tighter. After a work out I set aside one hour for self care. Ending with the beloved massage chair.

2022-04-04Staff is okay and seems to enjoy working there. But this location is just too busy and doesnt have enough of the most popular machines. During busy hours only half the cardio will be used but there might be a 30 or 45 minute wait on a Smith machine during non busy times. Sometimes people are not even using a Smith machine they are just using it as a space to do other exercises. Unless you want to work out late at night you will find yourself being frustrated at having to wait on machines.

2022-03-19I have added 2 updates....Still not a fan because of repeat billing when canceling a membership. I was given the Runaround and that never sits well with me. This was the Canton Rd store in Marietta Ga. I do not normally post derogatory reviews but I decided that this is appropriate considering the time wasted on the phone with the staff there. Update: The owner (not sure of his name...) has made a reply. And an assumption that I am a member (Im not). My mother was giving a one year membership to my sister and that was several years ago. My mother is 89, deaf and non-ambulatory and on a fixed income. Im her caregiver and Im on no income. Well, I get paid in love and thats good enough for me. Any way I did as I was asked and emailed the specifics to Owner. I guess Ill update again If I get a reply...... Update...3/18/22....Planet fitness has once again drafted my moms account. Save yourself a headache and choose another gym. Ive got to make a drive to deal with these knuckleheads.

2020-03-05Love this place. It helps me keep healthy. No judgment zone. New tanning beds, stand up or lay down, Vibrashape, hyrdromassage beds, massage chairs, etc. Check them out. Staff always there, always pleasant. Ashley at desk is so sweet. I see people and staff wiping down machines a lot. I leave it better than when I came. I definitely recommend this PF. I have always had paper towels and disinfectant spray available. They use an electric dryer for hands in bathroom, which is green.

2020-06-2090% of the TVs you cant even see. every single employee that I have informed about this all said the same freaking thing. Its been that way since Ive started working here. No one has taken responsibility of all these extremely expensive TVs to get them fixed. Its kind of pointless to even have them if theyre not going to have them to where you can actually see them without them being so dark and purple. Very disappointed in this particular facility. I know planet fitness love purple, but this is ridiculous!
