I don’t write reviews but I had to write one for this place. As a Chicagoan, we think we have the best EVERYTHING, especially the best food. So I know good food lol! 😂 This place is a 100000/10!! From the fresh food to the GREAT customer service, they have gained a lifetime customer. I don’t eat red meat or pork so when I eat a burger it’s always vegan. They had THE BEST burger & cheese fries. They gave me a complimentary drink and cake for being a first time customer and it was the best!! Everything here is vegan. It was so good I wanted to ask them was they sure I wasn’t eating non vegan products lol. Please go here even if you don’t like vegan food, they’ll change your mind!!
Ordered the vegan meat lovers calzone and the beyond burger with fries. Calzone was terrible, the dough looked and tasted like store bought and was served with chilled marinara sauce. Calzones are Not served with cold sauce. The beyond burger was tasteless and the bread felt old and cheap. The fries had to be the cheapest frozen ones they found. Calzone ended up in the garbage with half the burger and fries. The service was not great either. First and last time.
I normally love Plant Based pizza but today was not a great experience. I ordered chili cheese fries a few days ago and thought they were fantastic and ordered more a few days later. Unfortunately, I got two completely different chili cheese fries. The head chef stated there was no difference after I showed him the picture. I want to support but wish the product was consistent. I was only offered money back because the dish was correct. In this case the customer was not right. See the images. Sandy Springs Location.
So so tasty you forget youre not eating meat. Yes went twice today Brunch-Spelt Pancakes and Fried Apples, Vegan Breakfast Sausage, Hash Browns, Scrambled Zero Eggs w/Vegan Cheese & Dinner-Fried Oysters(taste like chicken), Collard Greens, MacnCheese. Love the atmosphere! PBP is a whole Vibe!!
Man when I tell you this mos def might be my new favorite spot for my plant based eating. I got take out of the Georgia Peach Pizza & the flavors are amazing along with the crust which has a nice crunch too it. They are still finishing up the build out of the building but once finished I know its going to be a great vibe. The set up already looks amazing & the plants give it a great feel along with the music. Welcome to Sandy Springs, a must try.
Food is really good. Went here a couple of times and its the best plant based pizza Ive had yet. Not too far from where I live. Great customer service and the whole vibe of the place is dope too. I love the set up, the food, and art work in there as well. Im looking forward to seeing what theyll be adding to the place once they get the bar set up and have other events there. This is definitely one of my go to spots now
I spent almost $18 for fries and chicken strips that were so greasy we had to throw them away. The chicken strips looked like frozen chicken strips for children. I’ve seen vegan chicken made at restaurants before and it definitely didn’t look like what I purchased from Plant Based Pizza in Sandy Springs. If you are known for vegan pizza, stick to that only. Waste of money for sure. When I called to complain, the person who answered the phone wanted to make excuses. Gave me an email to email the owner but looking at a previous review, they haven’t responded to that complaint either. So sad. If you want to stand out as the best vegan spot in Sandy Springs, then the food need to match the prices and if food is not up to par or you have complaints, take care of the complaints. Be more accommodating.
Disgustingly overpriced...nasty attitudes especially the owner.. thought thr food would be a bit better than midtown (which is trash) and to my surprise ITS NOT...they sell overpriced FROZEN burger and chicken patties from Costco/Sams....they CANNOT cook! EVERYTHING is bland and the pizzas taste like the $.99 frozen pizzas from the grocery store. Paper thin pizzas for almost $30 NO THANKS....The best thing about this place is Jamies Cookies but Id rather purchase directly from her (for cheaper) and for better service and QUALITY....Ill stick to my vegan pizzas in Gwinnett and other vegan spots around ATL thats worth the money, service and EXPERIENCE.
One of the least appetizing vegan spots i’ve been to. the dining room and all the art is gorgeous but the wait was insane (they messed up our first pizza) and for a $30 pizza it was pretty disgusting. also, i hope you don’t want a side of dressing, because it’s $2 for a puny to-go cup. the buffalo chicken pizza was decent, but don’t order the cheeseburger pizza.
I heard great things about this place so I tried it today and I was really impressed. We got the bbq chicken pizza. It was the best pizza Ive ever had. The flavor was perfect and different and fresh. It came out quick too. I also really love the atmosphere in here. The decor, the plants, the kind and genuine staff. I will def be back!
SO DELICIOUS. Hands down the best pizza in Atlanta. I drive all the way from Marietta just for the quality, consistency and great customer service. Note there’s two locations - Atlanta is carry out only and Sandy Springs has the option to dine in or order to go. The menu has everything you could want and more and all 100% vegan. Highly recommend!
I pass by this place all the time and kept meaning to check it out -- soooo glad I did this past Sunday! LOVE the half and half pizza option. My mom and I split 1/2 georgia peach, 1/2 vegan deluxe, and the banana pudding for dessert. My mom makes her own spelt crust so expectations were high, and were not disappointed! Loved the pizza, and the banana pudding (with homemade cookies) rivaled the best non-vegan versions Ive ever had. Will return to try more!
Awesome place if your vegan like me and my wife. When we find a new place we sample a lot of stuff on the menu lolThe cake ,pizza and Philly were good.Only thing I am picky about that my cheese steak cheese wasnt melted good.Vegan cheese has to be melted good to release flavor (it could of been that one time)(Grill the bun some and throw the cheese in and then put hot ingredients on top)Besides that its a nice atmosphere ,location and food.
As you may know experimenting with meat supplements can be challenging. You truly have to approach it with an open mind as there is no exact substitute. The best way to address this is with flavor and this pizza hands down is the winner. Who knew peaches on a pizza would be so darn good!I also enjoy their burger, but once again I topped it with all of my favorites enhancing its flavor profile.
This is now the go-to lunch spot for my entire office. They have something for absolutely everyone and everything is positively delicious. Vegans will be delighted by the variety, but honestly, non-vegans wont even know the difference - its that fantastic. The staff is the friendliest youll find anywhere, so attentive and nice. I would highly recommend PBP!!!
I really don’t like to leave negative reviews but I was unfortunately super disappointed trying this place out for the first time. Because of the good reviews I was excited so I ordered online for a 12:30 pick up. I got there and the front lady said they are a bit busy so maybe 10 more minutes. That was confusing because I ordered at 11:55 and they had 3 tables. Finally my food came out at 12:50.I got the spinach and artichoke pizza plus chicken sandwich. The crust was very hard and crunchy with not much flavor. The cheese tasted bland like Daiya. The chicken sandwich was extremely similar to the Gardein patties I get at Whole Food. Overall experience was not what I expected and will stick to the vegan pizza options in downtown Alpharetta.
We really like the pizza but we have too many bad service experiences. The wait for the food is often way longer than expected. The pizza is VERY expensive and so we do expect better service than this. Today, I got notification that my pizza would be ready at a certain time. I went in to pick it up and they told me it would be another 15 minutes. I stayed to wait and they told me they did not know when it would be ready. I got a text notification on my phone that it was ready but still nothing. I showed it to the hostess and still nothing. Finally 35 minutes after it was supposed to be ready, I received my pizzas. Brought them home--I live less than 5 minutes away and they were both cold.
Food is amazing & I was stunned by the interior of this place however all of that completely went left after experiencing their lack of good quality customer service. The customer service like many other places these day is slight to to none. They messed up on my order charging me for toppings I requested that they did not add. & the chef/ food prep (idk but it was a female) came from the back with a nasty attitude implying the order was correct when it was in fact WRONG (which I left the order so they could see for themselves) They don’t take accountability, & can be unprofessional. (The cashier had already went to the back to address the issue so for the cook/ food prep (idk) to come to the front with an attitude with her slick mouth was unnecessary. I returned the entire meal, declined the remake & just requested a refund which they told me they couldn’t do it in store & I would have to email them. They first gave me the wrong email address (can’t say whether it was intentional or not) I called back & they provided me with the accurate one. This was 2 weeks ago, I haven’t heard anything back, they haven’t responded in email or call to provide my $25 refund. Hopefully my review actually makes it. Now and days companies are having more control over reviews deleting reviews or possibly reporting as scams to cover their behinds & keep up their ratings.
Honestly, Im not totally sure what I expected. The restaurant wasnt fully set up yet, so Im not going to comment on the decor, but the atmosphere was very... off. There werent any other customers on a Friday evening and the staff seemed annoyed that you were there. My pizza wasnt bad, but it really wasnt inspired and the sauce was incredibly sweet. I wouldnt call this bad, but I wouldnt really recommend it.
If you havent been to Plant Based Pizzeria your slacking!!!! This place is amazing the owner puts his heart, blood, sweat and tears into his restaurants! The ambiance is beautiful, the food is delicious and the customer service is beyond amazing!!! By far one of my favorites!
OMG! OMG! OMG! My son asked me if I had ever eaten a pizza from Plant Based Pizzeria. I had not. Now I have! I am telling you, this is phenomenal!!! This is the best pizza I have ever eaten! And it is vegan - but you would never know it by the taste. I had 1/2 Ga Peach and 1/2 Buffalo Chicken Ranch. I can’t decide which half I like best. They are both amazing!
Absolutely lovely pizza! All the ingredients are plant based and served on spelt bread crust. The spelt bread was incredibly filling and the have PLANT BASED PEPPERONI!!!! I have not found a plant based pepperoni that doesnt make me miss the spicy unami flavor of a pork pepperoni, but thats exactly what Plant Based Pizzeria has achieved; a plant based pepperoni with a lot of unami, Yum!
This was my second time going to Plant Based Pizzeria; I went to the Midtown location the first time and this time the Sandy Springs location. I can honestly say being that I am just 2 months vegan this pizzeria is amazing! Like vegan or not I definitely recommend! 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
We decided to do a family outing to plant based pizzeria and it did not disappoint. We drove all the way from Douglasville to Sandy springs. We had the beyond cheeseburger, pepperoni pizza, meat lover pizza, spicy chicken sandwich, strawberry lemonade. Everything was bussin. I mean seriously you almost converted my husband over. Our favorite was the meat lover pizza and the spicy chicken sandwich. I forgot that lemon Oreo cake. Listen. Geesh . Amazing. We were definitely satisfied and will be back.
We ordered the Georgia Peach last night and could not even wait to try it before we got home. It was the perfect level of heat with the jalapenos and sweet with the peach. The marinara was very hearty. If I was not told this was a vegan pizza, I would not of known it. Staff was very professional and pickup was very easy. We will be going back in the future.
Ou cant order over phone so when I ordered online I choose the Sandy Springs locations. I got email receipt & notice midtown location address, I called to inquiry if receipt was generic address or error. I called & the sandy springs locations is routed to midtown. To assure no error I called again & again option 2 routed me to midtown. I explained situation, was placed on hold & I believe the shift lead or supervisor came online, so I re-explain. So I was told that yes Sandy Springs phone system down & all calls routed to midtown & I said it must include online orders too because I clearly choose sandy springs..can you route my order there the lady said no sir cause your pizza in the oven I then ask for my money back because system error...no sir your pizza in oven if you want pizza at sandy springs you have to order new pizza that location! I said you have system issues its not my fault no response. I then said dont worry I m gonna dispute transaction I have amex. Attach is proof of order receipt. I m gonna leave review at both locations & file complaint with BBB!
Let me start of by saying “ Everything is vegan!” for my true vegan snobs ! Such a very good restaurant. Soon as you walk in, there’s nice decor ! Enough tables ! The staff is very much friendly. I ordered the chicken sandwich, and two flatbreads. One flat bread was the georgia peach, and the second was the pepperoni. The chicken sandwich was delicious and crunchy! I can still hear that hard crunch in my ear. The taste was absolutely amazing , THE best vegan chicken sandwich i’ve had so far. I do wish the patty had more seasoning though, I would rate the fried chicken sandwich 4/5. The pepperoni flatbread was very good, my only critique is that I do wish there was more pepperoni, that too gets my rating 4/5. The georgia peach flatbread was the most outstanding of the rest. Simply because I was surprised how good Peaches are on pizza!!!!!! The thought of it didn’t sound right at all in my head, but when I took that bite, I almost wanted to get another one. The georgia peach flatbread clearly gets a 5/5 for me. Most importantly the value of money is very good! What’s more to love you say? Well, i’m not sure because that’s all i’ve tasted so far. They have good prices! Good vegan comfort food! Nice staff! Overall, for me, this restaurant gets 5 stars.
I had an absolute amazing experience at the Sandy Springs location! We ordered also the pepperoni pizza flatbread and Altsa Monroe chicken sandwich. When I say it touched my soul, it gave me enlightenment! The meal was so scrumptious and delightful to my taste buds! Service was a 5 star, I was greeted, and was explained in detail what was on certain meals. As well as suggested and most liked meals. The inside is a whole vibe, with a artsy epoxy floor and counter top finish along with the vibrant colors. They have a big, REAL house plants, which brings a very earthy touch to it! Highly recommended tourist place to visit for ATL.
Placed an order for a Philly flatbread with walnut meat not beyond meat and other things at 6:12pm. My order was going to be ready at 6:42pm. My husband arrived to pick up the order at 6:30pm so he waited in his car for a few minutes. He texted me at 7:02pm saying he was still waiting because they didn’t have walnut meat so they didn’t even make it yet. So no one ever called me to edit my order, they just chose to wait until someone came to pick it up to inform us. By them doing that, my husband waited there 45+ minutes. Food was good but not worth the wait. Lack of communication is annoying too. If the walnut meat is unavailable, why still have it as an option to order? Why didn’t anyone call me when they accepted my order? I can understand that this was the soft opening day and things might have been crazy, but this situation could have easily been avoided by a phone call. Also, they’re inconsistent with my requests. Missing items that I want to add to my pizza and substitutions that I don’t want on there....

2022-06-11My husband and I got the 1/2 and 1/2 pizza, Georgia peach and meat lovers. The plant based meat was a little dry, the the pizza overall had excellent flavor and good texture. The atmosphere is nice and the Stubborn soda fountain is great. Only real con was that when you first walk in, there is a weird smell that you eventually get used to.

2021-09-18Hidden in Sandy Springs! Pizza is bomb. Place is DOPE. Plenty of space and ample seating. It’s low key right now and not crowded.Definitely a place you could chill with friends. The patio seating is huge and weather proof.Nice murals and neon signs for cheesy *pun intended* posts too. Also I got two free cookies cause the owner was in a “good mood”?? 🙃🙃 10/10

2022-01-15If this is your first experience with their food or whether you’re a repeat customer like me visiting this new location you will soon become a repeat customer. I love the philly calzone, specialty lemonades, and locally prepared cookie dessert assortments. Now the space is a selfie museum in itself, however if selfies aren’t your preference there’s a space to dine among the tropical plants while vibing to the music that lights up your soul, but the space also has tvs to watch your favorite sports. I cant wait until the bar and outdoor space opens. Next time I’m going to swing while eating my calzone. One of my favorite Atlanta restaurants with plenty of party. I look forward to seeing many more locations opening.

2021-10-25Best Vegan Pizza I have ever tried. The large variety of toppings and sauces really help carry the flavor so that the pizza doesnt have to rely on lots of plant based cheese. You have the option to create your own pizza, but there is really no need with all the creative options they already offer. They even offer a local Georgia favorite with peaches as a topping.

2021-08-17Went here for lunch about a week ago around noon. This place has a very fresh, organic vibe, the atmosphere and interior decor was so cute! Was not busy at all when I arrived. The employees/waitresses at the counter were extremely friendly and helpful. Great large variety menu,, that includes burgers and chicken.. Everything on the menu is plant based, I repeat EVERYTHING ON THE MENU IS PLANT BASED! How amazing is that? Ordering was a breeze, we ordered the Chilli cheese fries, Hawaiian pizza, half Georgia peach, half Philly from the waitress suggestion, food came out about 15-20 min later. Everything was extremely good, I mean the quality and freshness of the ingredients was a hit! For someone like me who perfers plant based food options and a variety at that with a taste that dont miss this is the place to be. Definitely better than any other pizza spot that Ive been too and Im sure even kids would love it. Ill definitely be coming back to this place and the same location! When you eat good, you feel good, food is powerful, food is medicine! The Future is Vegan!

2021-05-15When I first walked into the restaurant I was greeted with a smile, the atmosphere was so beautiful it made me want to sit down and enjoy my lunch there. The pizza was so delicious I couldnt find a plate fast enough, I ate it straight off the box! I ordered the Mexican style pizza and added some black olives and a side of ranch for my finishing touch. They also have gluten free options if you are gluten intolerant. I gotta give credit where credit is due and plant based pizzeria you stuck your foot in that one!!...thank you for making this a wonderful experience for me...I will be returning

2021-12-17Incredibly inviting, helpful and knowledgeable front of house, a vegan dream! Highly recommend the Meat Lover’s, Georgia Peach, and cheese sticks. Cannot wait to return and try more! ...and sit on the swing seats!
