Frank Paulino took great care of me when purchasing my new car. As a single mother it was refreshing to be able to approach a dealership that respected me from the first interaction. I enjoyed working with Frank and the entire process was very smooth, from being able to have my mechanic look at the car, to the negotiations (he even did this by text!), to the final paperwork. So far I am very happy with my experience with Platinum Used Cars in Alpharetta.
BUYERS BEWARE; I bought an Audi A4 from Platinum Used Cars about a year ago, I think the price was fair and the vehicle’s condition good. I would give a 4.5 rate on that. But what concerns me is that when doing the paperwork to buy vehicle, the salesman ran my credit so many times (3 hard inquiries went to TransUnion and 4 to Equifax!) and the whole point about it was so I could get the “extended warranty” he offered me. Well I thought, yes I need that since this vehicle already passed the 100k. When asked what was offered he handed me a brochure with all the details about what’s “covered” and that I would have a deductible of $200. When I saw what was offered I accepted the extended warranty. Two months ago my car broke down I took it to the Audi dealership for repairs and gave my “extended warranty” information confident that everything was going to be taken care of. To my surprise Veritas Global Protection (that’s the name of the insurer’s company) responded the dealership saying that they were only gonna pay for PART of the repair. I got a bill for over $900 (I was promised a $200 deductible remember?) and they refused to pay for a second repair that my vehicle needs. In conclusion if Platinum Used Cars offers this kind of products it’s their responsibility to make sure these third party companies are reliable and honest. Now I understand why the salesman urged me to add this warranty, he was only thinking about getting his commission out of this sale. At the end I spent an extra $3000 for an extended warranty that was good for nothing.
Worked out a deal with Juan about driving from out of state to pick up a vehicle. Was willing to pay asking price for the vehicle, no haggle, and was even pre approved with their financing before I ever agreed to head that way. Was ready to walk out the door in less than 5 min after we got the pre approval that all was well and we were good to hit the road. All seems fine until we get an hour and 15 min into our drive to them (they knew we were on the road bc they called to confirm that as soon as we headed out) and Juan called us to let us know that the vehicle was in the process of being sold to someone else who walked onto the lot, test drove it, and was in the PROCESS of getting approved. We were already approved and in rout and the vehicle gets sold to someone else. So now I am an hour + on wasted time, gas into an hour drive there and hour back, and a ding on my credit and still don’t have the vehicle. Make sure you have in writing the vehicle is sold to you if your traveling to pick it up so you don’t waste your time like we did. Horrible business practice!

Horrible my brother went here and got a car and he was almost scammed . They told him the price of the car then after the paper work all of sudden the price of the car goes up .. twice as more than what he was told . the whole place is unprofessional and I feel like they thought they caught a duck . And was trying to pocket money . And yes he returned the car

Best car Dealership In Georgia. I was impress by the sales team at Platinum Used cars, they were very accommodating to my needs and went above and beyond to ensure I got the vehicle of my choice. I had looked around to a few other dealerships prior to Platinum Used Cars and by far, they were the best in accommodating us and providing great service, Plus Platinum had the best selection and cleanest cars. I will recommend family and friends for sure.
So I cold called and got David Patel on a Wed morning. I offered 8% below asking price…which I felt was a good number to start. David told me he would talk to the manager and call me back. Thurs I called back and David was busy so I talked to another sales person increased my offer $1000 to 4% below asking price. He said they would call me back again. Finally got a text back Friday pm saying we cant get to your price. No counter offer. I was told list price was as low as they would go, plus an additional $700 Dealer fee plus $300 Registration fee…although I would have to register it in Alabama and pay the taxes in my state. All of that is what it is but the quote regarding my attempt at normal negotiation was “those days are gone”. I left it with keep my offer and call me if it doesnt sell…the response was “the price wont change”. I am in sales myself. I understand the art of selling and negotiation….taking 3 days to respond and rude comments are not the way to make a loving in used car sales. I was actually willing to pay asking price, but after how I was treated I will take my business and cash somewhere else.
Disgusting and unprofessional. We gave a deposit down to hold a car knowing that if we decided we didn’t want to continue, it would be refundable. We trusted them and they turned around and told us we couldn’t get it back after only 24 hours. Their word means nothing. They are rude and only are good to pressure someone to buy a car. The salesperson had no knowledge of the car. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. Trust me. I saw what I needed to see and they are a completely unprofessional.
Less than a week after I bought a Jeep from them, the front brakes went out. Not only could I have potential hurt myself, and other people on the road but my job requires transporting children. Had I been working when this happened, and the outcome was more severe, this place would have an unfortunate call.They promised to send a check four times and unfortunately did not follow through. I ended up up having to pay out of pocket.Accountability goes a long way.I personally would not give a one star review and I originally was going to delete this post, but that would not help out others who genuinely want a reliable vehicle from a trusted dealer.
I went to Platinum Used Autos to purchase a vehicle I saw on CarGurus and long behold my Sales rep AJ found me an even better vehicle at a price way below my budget.My credit wasnt the best and AJ was able to make the numbers work to my surprise! I purchased a 2014 Infiniti Q50 Premium AWD and I simply love this car! Khalil the maintenance manager is VERY knowledgeable and took the time to show me the ins and outs of the vehicle and even how to use some of the advance technology.Overall great team, knowledgeable, courteous, HONEST and fair. Bought a 2004 or 5 Jeep Cherokee for about $4,000 from this place and drove it all over the country delivery kayak and sold into a man who works at Gerber collision in Roswell Georgia for $2,000 the same $2,000 that I used to put down on my Ford focus good luck with your attempt to make me look like Ive done something fraudulent freaks of Atlanta

So enjoyed my experience with the guys at Platinum Used Cars. I had been pre-approved for a car I had my eye on for a while, when I sent in my inquiry online, Trotters contacted me within the hour and invited me in for a test drive. When I arrived, Trotters greeted me at the door but unfortunately the car I originally scoped had been sold right before getting there ); However, they had another one of the same car I wanted, that ended up better suiting my personal needs. Test drove the car and fell in love. James then helped me with reviewing my finance options and trade in value for my current vehicle and got me out the door the next day with the car! So pleased with the customer service and thorough attention to making sure I got what I needed. Would def shop with them in the future and recommend to my friends or family.
Shikara was the best sales person and very professional. She consistently kept in contact prior to our arrival and once we arrived, we were greeted with a smile. The vehicle we were interested in was parked at the door and ready for us to look at and take a test drive. I will definitely recommend her to my friends and other family members.
What started out as an easy car purchase with three items to fix turned out less than great. The rear taillight was discovered not to be working after we test drove with no right rear turn signal working. This was to be fixed and we were told to come back Saturday am to take our car. When we arrived Saturday, the salesman said we should have called because the car we purchased Tuesday was not ready. Pretty sure they should have called us not the other way around. Picked up the car the following Monday and off I went. The taillight was NOT fixed.Be careful and check on the details with them because even with it in writing it was not fixed. The Ford led light panel cost us $1000.Not a happy customer!UPDATE 10/25/21: Apparently more turnover and after months of texts and voicemails - I was told today that I was wrong for waiting for 3 months to report this lol. Jimmy (No last name available) is supposed to check with the main office and get back to me tomorrow! Fingers crossed.
I purchased a Land Rover Evoque from Platinum Used Cars on 7/31/2021. I live in Tennessee, I had to travel 4.5 hours to get this vehicle. My sales representative, Trotter, assured me, in texts, the car was in amazing condition, nothing wrong with it. Upon arriving to Platinum Used Cars on 7/31 to test drive the vehicle, Trotter informs me the windshield is cracked but they ‘glass guy’ was coming to replace the windshield ‘within the hour’. I left to go grab some food & allow them to replace the windshield & detail the vehicle. Upon my return, I was told the windshield wouldn’t be there until next week on 8/3 & they would drive to Tennessee & replace the windshield. I got this in writing from Platinum Used Cars.Today is 9/5/2021 & I STILL do not have a replacement windshield. I was told by PK multiple times that ‘SafeLite is supposed to contact you’ (I recorded all conversations). I contacted Safelite (pictures will be provided) & they have no record of ANY appointment ever being made by Platinum Used Cars. They tried by the dealership, my name, my phone number, etc. No record of any appointment made.Finally, I went to David, the manager. He was supposed to make an appointment with Safelite. He states he made an appointment for 9/13 for my windshield. I spoke with safelite, same story, no appointment was made. I asked for an order number from Plantium Used Cars, was not provided.Finally, David told ME to make the appointment & he would call & pay over the phone. After multiple attempts to reach David, the appointment was lost because he failed to call Safelite & pay over the phone per our agreement (in texts).So far, I’ve had to replace the tires on the vehicle (they were dry rotted), the rear passenger window will not roll down, the battery had to be replaced… etc. Buyer BEWARE.As it stands now, there’s an appointment with Safelite for 9/17 & it MUST be paid 48 hours prior since it’s a third party transaction (Platinum Used Cars is the responsible party for payment). IF this payment is made to Safelite & my windshield is replaced, I will remove this review. Until then… this has been a HORRIBLE buying experience!

We had a great experience here. We were allowed to test drive the car as long as we wanted and the interior of the car was immaculate. Everyone was helpful and friendly and the financing process was super easy. All the cars were well priced and all appeared to be well maintained. We would definitely recommend looking here for a car.
Came in Saturday 7/27 to check out some trucks. Met with Jeff who showed me around and helped me decide on a great truck. 2012 F-150 Platinum. The whole process was easy going and comfortable. No pressure. Had a small issue with the sunroof track bending 2 days after purchase. No questions asked they ordered the parts and took care of the repairs. No hassling with the new warranty or other shops. If I had the money Id be buying another truck from them right now. Will definitely return and recommend everyone here.Adding on now that its been a couple months. Still loving the truck. The work Corey and the staff did was excellent. Cant recommend Jeff and every one enough. If youre in need of a car or truck and want an easy buying experience go here. Super happy with everything they did.
As a senior military leader, my expectations of customer service, communication and relatable are often under met. The relationship I established with James and Juan led to a phenomenal buyers experience. Although a used car cannot be in perfect condition, I worked with the team to achieve a very close level of perfection before surprising my wife with her newer Escalade. There were a couple due outs post sale that the guys aggressively pursued while simultaneously keeping me informed. We closed everything out between both dealership locations and my wife and I are excited for the new ride and I’ll be using Platinum to search for my next vehicle. Great experience for the Roberts family!
Juan the salesman is very personable without being pushy. I was concerned about purchasing a car from a small lot, the sales manager allowed me to take the car for a diagnostic test to ease my mind. To my surprise my mechanic was surprised at how it was in excellent condition inside and out. I needed the rear brakes replaced and they arranged to fix them around my schedule. Im very happy with my Mercedes 300 and I got it at a Fantastic price! I recommend anyone to purchase your next car with them!

After extensively search for the type of car I seeking, I found many options to choose from. I phoned Platinum Cars in Georgia and they were very helpful, even offering to FaceTime me walking the car, before I left on the 5 hour ride to Alpharetta, GA. When I did arrive at the dealer, I was not pressured and it was “exactly” what they said it would be. They gave me a very reasonable price, and even detailed the car for nearly 4 hours for me— wow it really looked great. I bought this car without hesitation and couldn’t be happier. There were no gimmicks or gotcha moments— I normally don’t write reviews- but this one was pretty unique in that they cared for me so much before, during and after the sale. I WILL be back if I ever need another vehicle. Many thanks again!!
This was literally the easiest car purchase I have ever made. You get what you pay for. James had our paperwork done in less then an hour. They even give you some gas and that goes a long way when you just emptied out your pockets on a vehicle. Ask for Ivory when you get to the dealership and tell them Steven recommended you! I’ll be back when it’s time to upgrade for sure!
I have been in the process of buying a car for a while, and I have to say Platinum Used Cars is the place to go. It was one of the few times I didnt get the “smarmy car salesman” feeling at the dealership. In addition to the great deals and a variety of vehicles to choose from, the customer service was excellent. Ivory Corley was very helpful, patient, and professional. Please dont do business with them! Ivory and James lied about when I would receive the vehicle, despite them knowing I would be leaving to go out of town. They lived about the cost to ship the vehicle, overcharged me $500 and then wasnt going to pay the shipper. Additionally, there was more miles on the vehicle then told. Ivory texted me and said I would be refunded some money that he never refunded, if I agreed to do the sale. They have never sent the paperwork. Again, I wouldnt recommend to do business with this dealer. Theyre very shady and will leave you in a legal mess. Email the district attorney office and file a complaint against them if theyve done this to you as they cant refuse to send paperwork.
They were great! The whole experience was quick and easy. The whole staff was friendly and Kabir was awesome. He got me the car I wanted at the price I wanted and went out of his way to make sure I was happy with everything. I love my new car and would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a quality car at an affordable price.
I Just purchased a Range Rover a week ago, first and foremost the costumer service was off the charts ,they made special arrangements and stayed late to accommodate my hectic schedule. Everything was sanitized and there is plenty of hand sanitizer if that is a concern. The car is amazing, clean, low miles absolutely beautiful it was detailed inside and out.Literally like a brand new car. The financing was a breeze with great rates. I would highly recommend Platinum Cars to anyone!! Last but not least Kabir is wonderful, they are lucky to have him !!!!
I worked with Jay, and from the jump he was very pleasant and honest. We got a great deal on a used 2013 Suburban and couldnt be more happy with it. Jay even went over and beyond to offer for them to take care of any immediate issues with the care like breaks, air compressor and minor cracks on the dashboard. Overall a great experience. We saw some reviews as to people that had to wait a while, but all I can say is, always prepare time when shopping for a new car because no matter where you go, theres going to be a little bit of a waiting process because theres paperwork to be filled. Five stars for great customer service and a great overall buy!

Was feeling off when i approached the lot as they are not as fancy as big dealerships but their cars are amazing and VERY well priced.I walked out with an amazing vehicle and got a great trade in offer on my car.Highly recommend this place, especially if you are shopping around and dont want to deal with the bigger dealerships.Great financing options also.
They had nice vehicles and the process went as well as can be expected of buying a used car (which isn’t that good). But they offered hardly nothing on my trade in. We got a quote from Carmax to buy my trade in vehicle for a lot more than this place offered. They offered $8,000 and Carmax offered $11,000. I also thought I was getting a great deal on the car until I got the final total. Plan on them adding about $2,000-3,000 on top of the sell price. And that still doesn’t include taxes or tag fees. We were told that additional cost was for the time and money they put into the car replacing the wiper blades, changing the oil and any other maintenance that was done. Well we took it to an oil change place a week after purchase and they definitely didn’t change the oil and one of the wiper blades was starting to shred so obviously they weren’t replaced either. We also mentioned the dangerous level of tread on the tires and they said they would order new ones and would have them put on when they came in. They even signed paperwork to that fact. We had to call them daily for over 3 weeks before they ever sent the tires, which came to my house and we still can’t get a hold of anyone to tell us where to have them installed. So we are going to pay ourselves to have them mounted because it’s just not worth the trouble at this point.
Had a fantastic experience here! Chris was great to work with. He was not pushy, was very patient, and answered my husbands 20 million questions. We appreciated all the time he gave to us and sold us a wonderful car. He turned us over to David in finance who was awesome! David took the time and explained every piece of paper we were signing, made sure he was very clear on all the information he was providing us, and even printed out additional material that my husband wanted to take home and read.
Horrible dealership liars all! dont trust them with anything not at all honest they told me lie after lie.I drove over 2hrs with a settled price and walked out after they raised it by 100.00 per month not good business, they also gave me a price on a warranty then they extended it by 20,000 miles after I didnt take the offer 20,000 more miles for same price just trying to rip me off!!!!! sorry platinum it didnt work!!!!
Not at all impressed.... (unprofessional)though the sales agent Trotter was really a nice guy. Originally I was excited about purchasing the car unfortunately when I arrived at the dealership I was told the car was with the owner and they would have it in 20 minutes 1 hour and 23 minutes later the car arrived which was not the end of the world for me...I test drove the car but due to the bad reviews of this company I asked for permission to get a pre sale Inspection from BMW. The sales agent agreed and at this point it was time to negotiate I asked for the best deal considering the economy in addition they had the car for over 100 days at this point 17 minutes later the sales agent returned with the exact same price that’s online WHAT A JOKE.. A few minutes later a husky guy came into the room with the report stating his car was the best price in the area.. I’m not sure what this had to do with anything again I was negotiating the price that the dealership had listed he continued to go back-and-forth in a confrontational manner at this moment I began to feel uncomfortable as a pregnant woman.After all I’m spending my money this was a cash offer simply closing a deal.. Funny part I had already called the bank to pre-authorize a charge for 40K...
Im a real human receiving no incentive from them for writing this. I waited a few months from purchase to be sure I was happy with the vehicle.Chris and his team did a great job overall. Platinum Used Cars has a great selection of reasonably-priced mid-range luxury vehicles, mostly in solid condition. The process was relatively painless. The finance manager was kind and great. 12K miles later, my car is still in good shape, passing maintenance checks with flying colors, and dont have do anything after a year and a month of owning it.I shopped there a second time, when I was looking a car for my daughter and bought it and I will definitely go back for another one Im in need of a gently used luxury car.
I bought a Lexus RX 350 from Platinum. I worked with Juan who was very nice, but I have a few complaints about service and car quality.First, the day I bought the car and drove it off the lot they gave me the wrong SD card for my car’s navigation system, etc. Juan told me it was the correct one, so I trusted him and that it just needed a few more mins to load, so I drove it home. It still wasn’t loading hours later so I went to the Lexus dealership to figure out what was wrong with the SD card and they said it was for the Lexus NX 300, not RX350. I gave Platinum the quote for the correct SD card and it took them over a week and a half to get the SD card from the dealership then they said I’d have to wait another 3 days to mail it to me or I could drive up to them to get it (45 min drive for me.....). I drove up to them because I was sick of waiting and wanted to use my navigation!!! So frustrating that they didn’t at least offer to overnight it.Secondly, (the BIGGEST thing) they said that the car had been fully inspected and that it was in a great condition. My car’s battery died 2 weeks after buying it so I went to the Lexus dealership to get it checked out just in case anything else needed to be fixed and there ended up being $1,400 worth of maintenance needed. This was all very basic maintenance (needed a new battery, new brakes and rotors, etc). I’m very upset that they didn’t check to see if any basic maintenance needed to be done, or at least tell me up front that I’d have to get some maintenance done to it after purchase.Overall I love the car I bought but am not pleased with the quality I thought I was buying and lack of customer service.
My car shopping experience was great and in big part to Juan. From our first contact over the phone he was extremely professional and kind. He took his time to make sure I got what I wanted out of a car and explained everything. He was not pushy or overly aggressive with making a sale, he took his time and was patient with me while making such a big purchase . If you plan on shopping at Platinum Used Cars I recommend choosing Juan as your sales rep. He’s extremely professional, kind and patient.
A good dealership overall, having some real good cars as well. I was able to get a pretty nice deal for car that I was interested in. I felt that most things were upfront there. The Manager was clearly helpful and earnest in giving a clear perspective. Yes, one must research before hand as there are some real nasty people out there in this business. Overall a fairly nice experience which Ill recommend for others to try out.
I was impressed with the inventory this dealership had and we were greeted by David and we couldn’t have asked for a nicer salesperson. He helped by showing us what we were looking for and showed us others he thought would be a possibility. He went with us on a test drive and then helped us come to a good decision and price. Definitely I will buy my all cars from them. Highly recommended folks....
Frank was amazing, but I was not happy with the below from the answering service:1. I asked about service and they said they did a full service (they only did oil change, because my car is at mechanic now with low fluids)2. There is some fee they do not tell you about (I drove almost 2 hours and did not know about this)
Overall good experience. Chris was our salesman. He wasnt to savvy on knowledge of the Ford Fusion but did a good job overall. Establishment was very clean and all the cars on the lot seemed very well detailed.The price of the vehicle was very well priced ($1500 below) NADA and KBB pricing. When negotiating the price they had dealer prep $599 and then delivery fee of $1000? Seemed a little high but after some more negotiations we were able to reach a deal.Car so far is driving well with no issues after a little over 3 weeks.
We purchased a truck from here for my husband. Truck was as described on the website. When we got there and looked at it the vehicle was even better than we expected. It was absolutely beautiful. The leather was in really great condition. We had a loan from our credit union with an approval letter they let us take the vehicle that same day. We love our truck and they made the process seamless. A special thanks to Joe Quintin and Chris. If you are looking for a used car I highly recommend them.
I did my due diligence in searching for my car for when buying a used car it is up to the buyer NOT the seller to practice due diligence in what they are searching for, said cars history and having it checked by a 3rd party mechanic. However, stepping in here after searching for my 86 they greeted me right away and the 5 star service continued until I drove off the lot the next day. They allowed me to take it to my mechanic to have it checked out, they crunched numbers WITH me not against me to work out finances that were feasible for all parties. They detailed my car and made sure everything was up to par. It was that and more. From Jeff my sales guy, to Joe their Manager to David their finance manager. I HIGHLY recommend if youre in the market for a QUALITY used car. They do their due diligence in searching for cars of the utmost quality with the cleanest histories. Ask for Jeff and tell them Liam sent you.
I came to platinum used cars nervous about my credit and no down payment, but Jay made my Benz C300 buying experience easy and simple. Just bought a C300 for my daughter. I did my homework before the car purchase and visited 3 other dealerships to check out similiar cars. This car had all the options and was a lot cheaper than the other places. I am quite happy with the deal. The staff is good there and they dont bargain much. David is a polite and humble finance manager and Joe is a very knowledable and truthful sales manager but not so polite . I dont normally write reviews, but I had to rave about my buying experience here. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. My sales consultant, Alex Garcia, was the most courteous and helpful sales guy Ive ever worked with. He answered all of the questions I had and was extremely patient with me. I never felt pressured to buy, I actually felt super comfortable through out the purchasing process. I just want to thank him for the awesome customer service. He was great. I drove over 2hrs with them telling me that I was approved and what they could do monthly then when I got there they said it would be 100.00 more a month. Then they gave me price for warranty I said no so the said I can extend it 20,000 miles for same money I really felt like they were extremely dishonest!!! So I drove almost 5hrs for nothing

I would give zero stars if possible. Talked to James on the phone about a 2012 F-150. He assured me that it was in good mechanical condition. He stated that he had replaced the brakes, brake lines, and master cylinder. I drove 2 hours to the stealership to test-drive a lemon. This truck barely started. I knew something was seriously wrong with it as soon as I started it up. I grabbed my OBD2 scanner and it threw several codes. He did not replace any of the above mentioned parts. I assumed there would be a few minor issues with a high mileage truck, but this thing was in limp mode and barely went 40mph. I had the pedal to the mat and it continued to bog down rather than accelerate. The entire situation was very sketchy. One of the salesmen had to drive it down the road to “get gas” before I could test drive it. Or was it to clear the codes? Either way, I pulled stored data. 63k misfires on cylinder 6, bad O2 sensors, BCM was faulty, and it had a very obvious timing chain issue. James clearly knew the truck had several issues when luring me 2 hours away from home to see a “great truck”. I’m sure they do have decent cars, but these are not honest people. Do your research before purchasing.

Purchased a car about couple weeks ago. I found the vehicle on autotrader and drove 2 hours to purchase. Transaction was easy and car was good deal. Juan was our salesman and he was knowledgeable, professional with no pressure approach. David in business office was also professional with no pressure. Juan was very responsive and helpful. The 2015 Jeep I bought was in great condition as I was told. Satisfied with my experience. I would be happy to do business with these folks again although dealer feas bring the price to market value and lessen the deal you think is available. That being said, they were willing to negotiate and I am pleased with the deal we made.

I been there for helping to buy my uncle car.We ask them for deep clean, full of gas, and car mat the guy say yes they gonna take care.But after He signed they really pay attention to us. They just clean for us simple out side and they didn’t clean at all inside. The gas they just filled like 10 bucks. The car mat is not fully just some of the part. Right door is can’t open from inside. Back door is creepy too.So the comment should help some of you who read and try to buy the car from there. Be really careful before you sign on the paper. Make sure check againfrom the basic.

I came to the dealership. I asked the them only use one bank for financing with my deal. I was shopped at multiple banks and that’s NOT what I asked clearly as I stated to my sales rep. I spoke with the finance rep and he said thats what he did to get me the best rate, altho I ASKED them to only use one bank. I decided to back out of the deal, in result I was totally disrespected and was even pushed “ Yes Pushed “. The Police was called I was advised by the Police that my contract was voided and was sent me on my way. In result I have filed a complaint with the BBB and seeking Legal action because I was assaulted. I would not advise anyone to go to there place. They are very nice but ONLY to get your business..
Terrible! All lies!! Dont buy here. Darren said all my sales tax was included in final price, go figure, that was a lie! Went to register car today and was told I owe $550 in sales tax. They also charge you a $699 documentation fee??? For what? Doing their job ?? And an additional $299 registration fee ?? I cant even register my car yet. Pathetic!

Very bad experience at platinum cars. Called to ask about the availability of a vehicle, I was told the car was on the lot and ready to be purchased so I got the cashiers check and drove 6 hours the following day from Virginia to buy the vehicle. When I arrived the car was not on the lot and I was told that they could sell me something similar. After finding a car and getting ready to sign they wanted over 4 grand In random fees because they did all this maintenance. Took it to a local bmw dealership to find out that all the maintenance they charged for was never done. Oil hadn’t been changed in over 25k miles and it was leaking antifreeze and oil. And now no one at the platinum seems to answer the phone. SHADY CAR SALESMEN. Take my advice and go anywhere other than platinum!!!

Great experience with Platinum Used Cars! We came in after seeing a couple of cars that interested us on their website, and were able to test drive them. They were great cars, but I walked by a completely different car on their lot that interested me as well. I asked to test drive that one and realized that THAT was the ONE! :) It was a few years old, but impeccably clean and drives like a dream. I love the car and felt the entire car buying experience went very smoothly!
Sales team was decent with preparation. Had the car pulled up and recently cleaned prior to arrival. A little disorganized as far as honesty goes, not going to state names, but while someone may mention that theyre an honest salesman and against being sleazy, it doesnt mean anything just because they acknowledge the fact that its the most common stereotype. Theyll hit you with extremely over priced warranties. While their prices may seem competitive, be prepared to easily pay over two grand in documentation fees. Another example of many would be that someone mentioned they would check out the tire brand on the rear tires, as the brands differed from the fronts to have them changed but they never followed through. Furthermore, they neglected to fill up the gas tank all the way after I requested them to do so. Ultimately all salesmen are manipulative whether you pick up on it or not. The way the dealership looks from the outside says it all. The car I purchased looked great from afar, and of course they spent time making the inside and outside look great, but looking under the car yourself is always crucial with dealerships similar to Platinum. Or if you like a car here and youre serious about it, get an inspector to come and check it out because it will potentially save you a lot of money in the future. Honestly Im being incredibly picky, other than what I stated Im satisfied with my car after 3500 miles. If you go in with low expectations, youll be satisfied. Platinum will essentially agree to everything you ask, except will just do it halfway. Dont fall into the trap of driving home a car with rusted internals and road salt from New York. Remember the most powerful thing you can do is walk away.

I new what I wanted and I looked at a number of locations. Platinum Used Cars had 3 vehicles all of which were very nice but they had the one that I felt was the right package etc for me. The price was good and when I asked for some additional work to be done it was not a price. As a small business owner I was happy with what we were able to do on the financial side and after the purchase when I had a concern the service manager went out of his way to make sure that I was taken care of and this for sure will save me $$$ in the future. The car I got was really clean and had a good price. New tires no cosmetic defects interior I great shape. Good friendly people working there. I looked through a few of there cars on the lot and they were all very clean with great looking interior. The only thing keeping me from giving this place a 5 star is there dealer fee. Its higher than most. But the Honda Pilot I purchased was priced the best out of all I researched for same year and mileage range and it was in really good shape and they provide a free limited warranty which gives you a little peace of Mind. So I Had a good experience and got a good vehicle and would recommend this place for a nice clean vehicle. As long as you can factor in price and dealer fee and still come out competively priced then youre good.
Jay was very nice and responsive. The only issue is after we purchased it on Saturday, we took it to our car shop to have a window repaired that we knew about only to find out the radiator had a leak and needed replacing. As well as an axle seal leak. Not happy. Do your due diligence on having the car checked before you buy from this dealer. Do not take their word. They said their mechanic had checked it out and all was good. And that was simply a lie. Very disappointed.
Took my brother here to get a new car after his completely shut down. He’s never been through the process of getting a new car but I have so I went since I know what to ask, look for, etc. Jay and the guys here are so helpful! On December 2017 I bought a 2009 Honda Accord from Platinum Cars after seeing an offer on the internet. I called went and it took a couple of days before making my decision to buy ,but after a few conversations an agreed upon price was settled upon and I have enjoyed my car ever since. The staff was great and so far I have had no problems or complaints .I would recommend this company and wish them the best of luck.
We purchased a car here a few weeks ago. Juan was very helpful, honest, and a pleasure to work with. We had originally driven over an hour from home to look at a car on a different lot near here, but were unimpressed with the shady sales tactics of the first dealership we went to. We drove past Platinum while test driving the other car and after realizing we were not doing business with the original shop, we came here. Juan met us almost immediately as we walked in, asked what we were looking for, and showed us two right away that were both a good fit. He quoted us the out-the-door price, including tax, tag, and title, and not a lower price to hook us and pile on all the fees later. It was refreshing to receive straight-forward answers. I will not recommend this dealer at all. The buying experience was fine, however the sale was made under false pretenses. The dealer talked highly of the car and about the NIADA certification. As soon as I took possession of the car, the very next day I ended up having $3500 in repairs done at my own expense. The car sold was nice looking, however there were many things mechanically wrong with it. Of course after you buy it and try to contact them about the issues, you will not hear from anyone.If you insist on buying a car from this place, have your own mechanic check it out first.You will notice that all the cars on the lot have low gas, thats because they dont want you to do a proper test drive. And they will promise to fill it up with gas after you buy it, but thats a lie. It will not happen.Good luck.
While they wouldve gotten a 5 star and referrals on a regular basis for additional sales, I dont like liars. When I went in, I felt like they were over asking for the vehicle but I loved it. I printed a KBB fair market quote and was advised that KBB while used by consumers is not the guide used by dealers. I can appreciate that answer. Ive noticed several little issues that I did not initially and that is okay. I realized I was buying used and as is, none the less, love the car. What I find unacceptable is that as Ive looked over the 50 pieces of paper you sign, right on the top of the DOR- Motor Vehicle Tag/Title Application (look closely at the top right hand corner before signing and youll see if they are screwing you over), it shows the fair market value of the car...the value was that of KBB (which Im sure is going to affect a refinance). You know the one they said that is only used by consumers? So David lied...it is the guide used. But Karma is a sweet thing..fortune for Platinum Used Cars I work in the business too, only on the service side, not sales, and I am ALWAYS looking for a stand up place to send my customers for a replacement car when the cost of repairs to theirs exceeds the value of the vehicle its self. We do this at all 7 of our locations. Ive had the opportunity to tell my story to 2 this week needing to trade and it goes without saying I told them Platinum could not be trusted and referred them elsewhere. To anyone reading this, reach out and Ill be happy to refer you to some honest places within a few miles of Platinum. The only reason I didnt use one of them is because I knew exaxtly what I wanted and Platinum had it aitting on their lot. Way to go Platinum, this could have been much more than a 5 star review and one car sale for you, it couldve been a business relationship that would have sent you many many sales in the future. Instead, Ill make it a point every single to day to warn at least one person to look elsewhere when shopping for a car and Ive already advised the managers at our other stores, do not refer to Platinum, instead warn our clients of them and use one of the other independents on our referral list. I wont get the money back they screwed me out of, but Im making it a point cost them 100 times that in lost sales. You dont have to be dishonest in this business to make a great living, honestly and fairness will make you much more in the long run. Hope you sleep well at night screwing over a single mom who is also helping to raise 2 other children on top of her own. I also hope your nieces and nephews will love the over priced Supreme clothing your buying them by robbing your clients.***RESPONSE...Never did I ever tell David that, never. The only comparison I used was a Jeep I looked at with a dealership. And I left and came back the next day so I could speak to my Bank about refinancing if I purchased the vehicle because of your high interest rates from Wells Fargo. No where near the numbers I had been given by Jimmy over the phone, or the going rates David had mentioned, and its not like you were working with someone who had bad credit, mine is good! God help anyone who walks in that does have challanging credit. And by the way check NADA, I did, the numbers are similar to KBB. No need to call Joe if Platinum dosent want to make it right. If Platinum is going to stick by this, I stick by my intentions to make sure everyone in our area, since we have the same AOI), that steps foot in any of our shops is well aware you all take advantage of you customers and to go to one of our recommend shops.****
I purchased a Honda Odyssey from Platinum last week. Mitchell was my salesman. He was very professional and kind. I didnt feel pressure to make an immediate decision and he and the finance team worked diligently to get my payments to fit into my budget. So far, they have been great at following thru with the contingencies I placed on this purchase too. Generally I don’t do reviews but once in a while you have that special experience that you have to take the time and put something down! Unfortunately, I had that negative special experience at Platinum today. Went to inquire about a ‘price match’ claim for a car at their competitor that they advertised. They made me wait half an hour and came back that they cannot do a match. Which is kind of Ok. Then he showed me a revised price of the car that includes a ‘destination charge’ of $1000 ON TOP of what they advertised which was above competition price anyways and this is in addition to the dealer fee of $600!! All this for a car that has tires at the end of life and pressure check was on, so it’s not like they are adding any value with these charges. I expect ‘some’ of this from every used car sales outlet but these guys are what give this industry a bad name - in it to milk naive customers only.Response to the owners comment on 8/20: Either you manager lied or you are, the cars compared were identical to the last 5K miles. I have to change my review for this place because they’re playing with my money! Everything seemed so sweet when I first got the car but come to find out they never did my emissions test & charged for that & my tags in registration fees when I purchased the car. The lady who handles it Johnvi or whatever her name is made me go get it done myself and pick up my tags myself and only wanted to reimburse me for half of what I payed! I tried contacting her but she blocked my number! I start looking over my paperwork furthermore, come to find out they charged me a delivery service charge for the car which makes no sense because the car was already in the lot when I inquired about the car. They did not have to deliver it from another location. I’ve tried multiple times calling to speak with someone about reimbursement but I just keep getting the run around. All of a sudden no one is available but I bet you if I wanted to buy a car they’d all jump up. I do not like my money to be played and someone needs to contact me ASAP telling me they’re going to reimburse me! #SCAMMERS

I have challenged credit but still managed to get financed at a decent interest rate. I pass this dealership on my way home daily. The cars itself are fine, however the sales people are another story. I dealt with Josh specifically. I understand sales ppl only make money through commission but then you would think that the customer service would be a priority. I was only there for a few minutes on account of the discomfort I felt. Based on other reviews, it seems as if I am not alone in my thoughts. You might as well spend a few extra dollars to buy from a professional place you feel comfortable with. I wonder how these ppl are still in business!

This was a great experience. I checked on line for the car we needed and Denise Gilbo reached out to me. We drove an hour and fifteen minutes to purchase our suburban from Platinum. Even though I had pre-arrival for my financing and signed the appropriate documents with Platinum, when my finance company saw the base price I had to call and ask Denise to make a slight adjustment on the base price. It worked out phenomenally. We have already recommended them to our friend who is searching for another car. Great job Denise Gilbo!!!!!
Sales experience with Juan was pleasant. The truck I was buying had bald tires on it and the service manager, David, said that they would replace the tires. I stated that I would like to pick the tires and he said no problem. I restated this during the signing of paperwork in front of Joe, the general manager....again, no problem. I made the mistake of not documenting that in the we owe slip. It just said that they owed me new tires. From the very next day it was close to a month of avoiding calls, lies about who was doing what, denying that they agreed to let me pick the tires and predominantly me contacting them to find out what was going on with the tires. We finally agreed on a tire brand and the size was supposed to be what was currently on the truck. When I got to the tire dealership to get the tire, they were a size smaller than what they should have been. I just wanted to be done with the whole experience so I let them put them on thinking it wouldnt make much difference but I was wrong. The truck looks ridiculous. I am now having to buy new tires myself and hopefully sell the ones that Platinum put on to make up some of the cost. Bottom line is if you want to just buy a car and not have them owe you anything afterwards, maybe take your chance on them. If you dont mind dealing with a bunch of liars afterwards, then have them owe you something after the purchase. Unfortunately my experience was one that will cause me to never purchase again from Platinum.

Buyer Beware!! Drove over two hours in the rain to buy this car. Everything seemed ok from the onset. I noticed the car had bald rear tires. I mentioned it to the salesman and he assured me they would take care of it. I decide to buy the car and they drive it off to get the tires replaced. Meanwhile, my wife and I are signing paperwork, we get hit with almost $1000 in hidden fees. Be aware of that. When the car comes back, it looks like the tread on the tires is good, so I drive 2+ hours back home. The rear end started making noise, so I take it to my mechanic. Turns out the rear tires are STILL bald. What I think happened was they used the same tires, and just had them turned around on the rim. This was indicated by the inside lettering being on the outside of the tire. I called and of course they blamed the tire shop and the tire shop wasnt going to do anything. What tire shop that is still in business puts bald tires on a car. Even used tires? Anyway, they send me home, in a torrential downpour, with bald tires. Good thing my daughter was with my wife. Be aware of these folks. Really inspect the vehicles, be ready for hidden fees, and dont expect any help if anything goes wrong.The one saving grace was the car was competitively priced. But I guess it doesnt matter when you pay $1k in hidden fees.

My salesperson Andrew was professional and made me feel at home. I purchase a Cadillac Escalade and was treated with respect by my salesperson Andrew and the staff during the entire process. 2022-04-22We must have looked at 20+ Honda Odysseys trying to find the right one - no exaggeration. Amidst a market where these vehicles are being sold in an instant and many dealers are not much concerned with used vehicle condition, we were blessed to run across a recently posted ad by Platinum Used Cars in Alpharetta.We were even more blessed to have Frank P ,our salesman, to answer on the other end of the line and the rest is history. Frank was professional, cordial and never overly aggressive or pushy - quite refreshing. More importantly, he was very honest. He told us a lot of detail about the vehicle condition, it’s origin, etc. He even shared that he had spoke with another interested couple that was traveling across state to see the same van but the vehicle was available first come first served. The other couple arrived after us and immediately approached the vehicle and the dealer handled it very respectfully - they made no attempt to bate us against each other despite the fact that we had not made a final deal yet. However, after some time we managed to close a deal the same day.Great price, great rate, phenomenal meticulously maintained example of a Honda Ody, top trim - sold!My wife has been on cloud 9 with her new Odyssey Touring Elite as well as myself and the kids. Frank was awesome and I hope to shop with him again in the future.Also to be commended is his sales/finance manager Otis. He was instrumental in getting everything done despite it being pretty late on a Saturday. 2022-07-18We just had the smoothest experience buying a car in our lives! I want to thank our salesman, Frank, and his sales Manager, Otis for making the process efficient and professional.We had been searching for this exact vehicle for over four months. When I saw the vehicle listed online at Platinum Used Cars I immediately called. Frank answered all of my questions, but we live in a different state, 4 1/2 hours away. So, I called back the next day and spoke to the manager Otis. He assured me the car was exactly as described, well maintained, and in excellent condition.We made the drive to Alpharetta, and Frank pulled the car around to the front for us. It was exactly what we had been searching for. After inspecting the car, we went for a 20 minute test drive. We returned to the store knowing we wanted to buy the car. 2021-10-19So far I am very pleased with my purchase from platinum used cars. My salesman was Frank, who was very friendly and professional. He showed me the car I inquired about, took a picture of my license and gave me the keys to take it for a spin. I knew I wanted this car but I do like to shop around. I told Frank that I needed to look at a few more cars and he said ok but dont wait too long because I dont want someone else to get your car. Mr. Frank followed up with me the next day and the rest is history. The entire process was about 45 minutes. He worked around my hectic schedule and by doing so I am now in my dream car in time for Mother’s Day! If you are looking for a honest dealership then this is the place! 2021-08-09Just purchased my MBZ C300 convertible over the weekend and was a great experience. Trotter ( sales) PK, Robbie and the gentleman that valued my trade in were awesome to work with. They did not pressure and were very helpful. Even helped us get a better rate for our loan. Minor issue of the vehicle that they will be taking care of which they even provided a signed document for.
