Terrible customer service, my boyfriend called to ask a few questions in regards to dental work he needed done. A lady by the name of “Pam” was completely rude and sighing through the phone and replying with slick remarks like he was disturbing her. Im so glad that the phone happened to be on speaker, and immediately took the phone and asked for a supervisor. She proceeded to say, “ their isn’t one” and told me that there was no one I could report her snobby attitude to. After two minutes of back forth, she hung up the phone in my face. I called back on my phone this time, and when I confronted her about hanging up? She pretended like the connection was bad. How insulting could you be? So glad we did not spend a dime here.
Went for my month cleaning today, Miss Anna was wonderful like always.Went there for a cleaning today 6/22/21 with Ms Anna. She was very professional and very good. 1/2021 & 3/2021 Awesome dental care provided at Pooler Parkway Dental Care. Micaela Smith was awesome and made sure I got all the treatment I needed. If you need anything just ask, they all are wonderful there.
My experience @ Pooler Parkway Dental Care was phenomenal. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. Their front desk staff were warm, welcoming, & helped me through all my questions about insurance. Micaela, the dental assistant, eased my nerves by making me laugh & making my x-rays go by as seamlessly as possible. She told me what to expect out of my visit, and checked on me throughout the entire time I was there. Olga, the hygienist, was very thorough in her care & cleaning - also making me laugh along the way, which can be hard to do w/ dental tools in the mouth! Dr. Patel was very kind & caring - you can tell she has great bedside manner and has a passion for what she does. Overall, a very great, relieving experience. They whole team helped kickstart my journey back to proper dental health, & I can’t thank them enough! I highly recommend Pooler Parkway Dental Care.
I was nervous before my appointment but once I arrived everyone was nice and I really felt comfortable after Micaela explained the treatment plan to me and what everything involved. Micaela is an awesome dental assistant she shows genuine compassion and knowledge of concerning issues I had in thank you Micaela. Also Dr. Patel did wonderful with my extractions very gifted hands the procedure was over in a breeze. I appreciate all the staff and am so glad I chose Pooler Parkway dental for my treatment plan.
Absolutely Wonderful! I was concerned about finding a new dentist since moving into the area. Everyone was very friendly, professional and made me feel very comfortable. I wish I had each of their names, I’m sure they told me, but don’t recall them at the moment. All that matters is I no longer have to search for a dentist. I found one with Dr. Patel and her staff! If you need a dentist try Pooler Parkway Dental Care
I went to THUS dental office under the pretense I would receive dental care. After being seated and told that my bill would be charged 139.00, In which I paid while seated in the chair. I was next given a numbing treatment and x-rays was started, then the biller entered and I was told this treatment would be around $4800.00. They ran a credit card of Care credit and charged 3000.00 for crowns that would be ordered, do I received temporarily crowns at that time. Then I was told my Ameritas insurance would also be billed around $1485.00 is wgat I later noted it paying. The second day my temporarily crowns came almost without me only drinking and eating crushed chicken. When I called to get an appointment Noone returned my call fir several says. I was finally given an appointment to return, and they iniated an attemp to remove dome tooth putty but in turn broke my tooth next to it. Dr. Parel had a gard time replacing the temporarily.. whenbivwent back on 13 to have my permanent crowns placed I was told I had to pay $43.84 for fluoride and 10 dollars for protective office supplies. There was so much damage I had to be placed on antibiotics afterwards. When I returned onThank you guysYoureDemla
Worst place ever. Besides the fact they always over charge me for every thing. It took over a year to get my wife’s account off of debt collection for 3 dollars . There office didn’t want to fix . Plus had to pay 190 for a mistake charge the office forget to put on my bill. After I paid the full amount already . For my daughters cleaning . Had teeth fixed for over $1,000 and the same left side still hurts after less than a year of filling the cavities. My family looking for a new dentist. I’m not paying $15,000 to fix my wife’s teeth to. I’m sure I can find a cheaper plan .
My husband had to get major dental work done here. This was his first experience with this dentist as we are new to the area. When the quote was given, I contacted our previous dentist to confirm this was needed and they did. We did the work and everything seemed fine. My husband went for what was we thought a follow up appointment but instead they filled 4 cavities and charged another $1200!!!! Our previous dentist never mentioned a need to fill any cavities less than a year ago. Be careful with this dentist!! They say you need more than you actually do. Unbelievable.
I enjoyed being treated by Micaela Smith. She made me feel comfortable and played some smoothing music while she and Dr. Patel attended to my needs. After my appointment, she called and inquired as to how I was doing. She is a excellent dental assistant and a wonderful person to work with.
I had an 8am appointment this morning. I have had one previous appointment at this dental office and had experienced long waiting times. The previous appointment was in the afternoon so sometimes offices get a bit behind by later in the afternoon. By scheduling an 8am appointment I had hope to eliminate that possibility. I arrived a few minutes early just in case we could started 5 minutes early. I stayed until after 8am but could see they were already running late. The people are courteous but they just dont manage the clock well. If i didnt work full time and still have children at home this dental practice might work for me.
Update: went back today for another wisdom tooth extraction and wasn’t anxious or nervous. Everyone from the front desk, Mahogany, Micaela, Dr. Patel and Ariana (I believe that was her name) did such an amazing job. I used to be deathly afraid of the dentist. Ever since the first time I stepped in your office, I’ve felt safe and in amazing hands. They all do such a good job of explaining everything from the treatment plan, billing, down to what they’re doing during the surgery. I can’t ask for a better team to help me with my oral health needs. Thanks again ladies, you’re the best!Scheduled an appointment for January 5, but this morning the pain was very discomforting. Got in touch with Pooler parkway dental and they got me in 30 minutes later. I have severe dental anxiety and Leah and Dr. Patel took great care of me. They have the most calming demeanor. The longest part of the appointment was waiting for my mouth to numb! She was so gentle and made sure the entire process went smoothly. I have found my dental home for good! I couldn’t wait to get home and leave this review! You guys were so well recommended that I’m glad I chose your office. From the ladies in reception to the lady I spoke with before leaving, I was impressed and you all are amazing. Thanks so much for the amazing experience, while having a wisdom tooth extracted! See you soon!!!
I had some work done recently and I was very anxious. Dr. Patel and Leah really made it a great experience by answering all my questions and making sure I was comfortable. Both were very nice and professional. The girls in the front office were all very nice too when I came in. Everyone just made me feel so welcome.
I had such a wonderful time at Pooler Parkway Dental. I was a bit nervous about the work that had to be done and the entire staff was absolutely amazing. Everyone made me feel so comfortable and welcome, and the entire process was very smooth and easy. Micaela was so fun to be around and truly amazing at getting everything taken care of throughout my appointment. Dr. Patel was also so pleasant and wonderful as she made me feel so comfortable and at ease. Overall this office is amazing, and I cannot imagine it getting any better!!!
I had to have a root canal done today and it was so smooth. Dr.Patel is awesome and Dental Assistant Micaela is awesome..she has this calming spirit about her. I am so scared of dentist...but they both made me feel at ease....this is a great dental office. I would recommend this dental office to everyone. Again I say awesome and I really thank you Micaela and Dr. Patel. The entire staff is awesome. The front office has superb customer service.
I’m very impressed! As a new patient, you are a little nervous about the first visit. From the time I walked in the door until I walked out, everyone was very professional and friendly! I was told before any treatment what was going to happen and all fees associated! No surprises!!! Everyone worked together and even though I was in some pain when I left, I was very pleased with my experience!! I would recommend this Dentist office without reservation.
I must say I am very reluctant to try new places especially medical offices. After moving to Savavah I wanted the same service I was getting before. After interviewing several offices Pooler Parkway Dental stood out. My hygienist is great, good job Anna, shout out to Micaela , very knowledgeable and gentle. I appreciate your consistency. You have a good team Dr. Patel.Simone D
Dr. Patel and the staff are amazing! Like many Im not a fan of the dentist but when I was in severe pain a few weeks ago they were able to get me scheduled immediately to see what was going on to get the pain stopped and then scheduled for me to come in to have the tooth extracted all in the middle of a pandemic. They took extra precautionary measures to ensure that the office and equipment was clean and made me feel safe. The tooth extraction was done with no problem and they were willing to work work around my schedule to ensure that everything was convenient for me. I am so grateful for them!
Well 1 year later and I didn’t have a greatest experience the ladies up front did not do their due diligence as before. I am an established patient with Pooler Parkway Dental, I had an emergency(I broke my tooth Friday night 12/30/2021) so I made an appointment with their emergency line to be seen Monday 01/03/2022 (Today) at noon. I received a call this morning at 8:00 AM to verify my insurance information, yes my insurance has changed since last year and I disclosed that information while on the phone. I gave all the information that was requested member ID, group number, etc. fast forward to me arriving 10 min before my appt just to be turned around because they didn’t have enough time to verify my insurance information!!! Yes those were the exact words from the young lady up front. I was told It would take up to 1 hour to verify my insurance, why wasn’t it verified after speaking to someone at 8AM? Also, I left without another appt date, I’m suppose to receive a call by the end of the day!!!! Dr Patel is amazing hands down but this situation is making me debate if I want to return…..Not only am I in mild/moderate pain, I missed a whole day of work just to miss another day…… “LAST YEAR REVIEW”-WOW !!!!! I absolutely LOVE this dental clinic and ALL of the staff, from reception to the Dentist herself!! I had to get my very first root canal and I was extremely nervous. Dr Patel and her assistant Makayla walked me through it step by step we even watched a short video together explaining the procedure......get this we even rocked out to my favorite music. It doesn’t get any better than that. Everything was great from beginning to end. I am confident with my treatment plan and with my new Dentist!
I’m new to Pooler and needed to see a dentist for a painful cracked tooth. The whole staff was very kind and immediately puts you at ease. Micaela was especially helpful during the whole process. Making sure I had a good understanding of what was going on and making sure I was ok. I highly recommend Dr Patel and her staff to anyone needing dental care.
I am visiting family in Pooler and I have insurance and had an emergency tooth issue and after 10 minutes on the phone with the scheduler she said we have to call you back. We have to see if a doctor will schedule you. Its been 2 hours and no phone call back. No concern was shown for my emergency. Why advertise emergency when its not available. I mean they coukd have called and said cant get you in so I coukd call another place. I wasnt impressed at all so I called another dentist and they were very caring and nice about my emergency and gave me an appointment right away.
Office was nice! But there was misinformation giving during my appointment. I scheduled a cleaning but was told because I am a new patient I have to have X-Rays done, oral cancer screening, fluoride along with another long list of things I did not need. Usually these things are done when needed for pain or poor oral hygiene. None of this was told to me upon making my appointment which was strange because these are common questions that should been asked to eliminate an unnecessary process. Furthermore the extra services added onto my co pay making it way more than my regular cleaning which involves no co pay because my insurance covers the cleaning. When I proceeded to tell them I do not have the money for the co pay I was told well we can make the co pay smaller by not doing the fluoride and Cancer screening.(Both things that my insurance doesn’t cover anyway). Again, do I have to have these services because I am a new patient or not? Or do I have to have these services because they involve a co pay and more charges to my insurance?R
Great experience. You will be lucky if you get Micaela as your dental assistant. She is personable, friendly, patient, and kept me well informed throughout my visit. Between Micaela and the Dentist, who was amazing as well, this was the best dental experience I’ve ever had.
I have never had such a SMOOTH dental experience before I came into Pooler parkway dental care! The entire front staff was so polite and sweet , Dr Dimple was AMAZING! I was very nervous before I saw her and my anxiety was going through the roof, between Dr Dimple and her assistant Micaela I was cared for genuinely. Micaela has a very calming nature and the two of them make an absolutely amazing team! Dr Dimple discussed the entire procedure with me and showed me what she would be using, she made small talk with me even though I couldn’t talk and I absolutely loved it, it kept me very calm in the chair. I will never go back to another dentist again, she’s my dentist lady for life ! The entire office was so clean and i loved it waiting room as well! All I can say is GO SEE DR DIMPLE! You will not regret it, I guarantee!
Called and made a last minute appointment, they fit me right in and Dr. Patel and her staff were so nice and professional. I had 3 teeth removed and didnt feel a thing, actually started humming a song, and for the record I was terrified of dentist until this appointment!
DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY HERE! DETAILS BELOW! Got a root canal September 2020. Paid $3000.00 for it out of pocket and told the insurance would take care of the rest. Pooler Parkway Dental didnt do the correct paperwork and X-rays. $500.00 went unpaid because they could not send the correct X-rays to the insurance company. They messed up and wanted another $500.00 (already paid $3000.00) from us. Now I keep getting letters from collections agency because I will not give them another dime. To top it all off the Crown that costs $3500.00 our of pocket fell off July 2021. Didnt even last a year and now Im having another dentist fix the work.
I called and asked the price of a cleaning. The woman told me, and it was a good price around $87 or so. I asked to set up an appointment. She took my name and birthday. She did not ask if I was new and she apparently didnt look me up in the system. When I arrived at my appointment, I recognized the place. I told the lady I must have been there before because it looked familiar. I had - five years ago. I was brought back to the dental chair where I was informed that instead of $87 it was going to be almost $600 for me as a self-pay person. The hygienist asked the doctor if there was anything they could do and they offered me a $180 evaluation that did not include a cleaning . . . I said no thanks and left. The hygienist was kind as were the front desk workers, but there was obviously a step missing in their process that wasted my time and made me feel how much they care about money and securing only patients that will be coming back with insurance. Not a reasonable price for self-pay patients.
These people and this office has been one of the most pleasurable dentist experiences of my life. The whole team from the people up front, billing, to the dental assistant Micaela and oh the dentist, these ladies were just the most wonderful and they saved me from the pain. Never have I ever been able to be seen so quickly, walked in the door and know immediately these people were going to have me taken care of. Ive never laughed so much while at the dentist either lol. Just good people, a very nice high tech office, and the atmosphere of these people really love their work and Im so glad they do cause I needed saving from pain.
I will recommended this office over and over. I was in excruciating pain, able to be seen same day, and tooth was removed with minimal to no pain! Leah and Dr. Patel were beyond amazing and put me at ease from the moment I sat in the chair. Leah knew I was anxious and continued to make sure I was okay through the entire process.
First of all I would like to thank the whole team there at Pooler Parkway Dental. It was by far one of the best dental experiences that I have had in my lifetime. Micaela if you ever see this I want to thank you. You knew that I was anxious, but you calmed me down by answering all of my questions. Also, thanks for checking in on me the day after my procedure.
I would like to thank the team at Pooler Parkway Dental. I have dental anxiety and they were great from beginning to the end. One person in particular REALLY stood out and her name is Ms. Micaela Smith. I bless God for Ms. Micaela and the rest of team for taking their time with me and doing their best to get the job done. Thank yall so very much 🙂
Pooler Parkway Dental Care is the only place I trust for my family’s dental care. Dr. Patel and Micaela are a dental DREAM TEAM. Dr. Patel is so kind, explains all procedures clearly, and gives her patients treatment options that they are comfortable with. Micaela is so knowledgeable and her patient care is excellent. I always look forward to my visits, because not only am I receiving top quality dental care, I also feel like I get to catch up with my friends at PPDC. I give them my highest recommendation and encourage anyone to make an appointment. You will not be disappointed.
Everyone here was amazing! My first visit as a transfer patient didn’t go as I expected it to, however, the staff turned it around completely. They were workable and very understanding while Dr. Patel was very patient as well. I would recommend anyone that is looking to transfer from out of state or just looking for a new dentist office. Thank you ladies!
I called to get an appointment because my husband had a crown that came off. This was early February; they said the nearest appointment was March 3. He went to the appointment and took the crown to have it replaced. He was told he waited too long to replace the crown and now it would not fit because the other teeth had shifted. If they knew this could happen why didnt they provide their so called emergency care? Or at least tell me they could not see him and to try another dentist? Instead they said they would have to make him a new crown to the tune of over $1700.00! (We do not have dental insurance) We feel we should have been more informed at the time the appointment was made to give us the opportunity to get emergency care! I called and asked to speak to an office manager that afternoon at a little after 2:00. I was told they were at lunch and would have a call returned that afternoon. It is now March 9 and I had not heard from them. I called and once again ask to speak with someone. The person answering the phone asked if they could help. I told her the situation and she told me they could not advise anyone over the phone before they saw the patient as everyone is different. I agree 100% but I TOLD THEM HE LOST A CROWN ! Because everyone is different I believe I should have been informed of the possiblity of his other teeth shifting and if they could not provide emergency services!I was again told the same scenario which in my opinion was totally ludicrous! If losing a crown that would stand the chance of not being able to replace because of delay is not an emergency; then what is?Basically I was summarily dismissed....their focus is how much money can we make off of this patient?
Micaela was awesome !! Made sure I was comfortable the entire time !! She even called to check in on me after my procedure. Mahogany as well. She made sure I was able to get the work I needed done !! These ladies made my visit very pleasant !! Would highly recommend !!
This was my first time and I was in so much pain. I was given all the possible options I could take before I made my decision, once I made my decision they were able to work me in the same day. Mikayla and Dr. Patel make a great team from start to finish they made sure I was comfortable and made the process run smoothly, I even got to pick the music I wanted to listen to during the procedure. Overall they are very professional, polite, and knowledgeable staff. I would definitely refer anyone I know to them!
I literally just left this office, I was told if I didnt agree to services for my new patient visit they would dismiss me. I made my appointment for the typical new patient preventative care/cleaning visit. I was told I HAD to have other services and if I didnt I would be dismissed as their patient. I was willing to do the typical xray, cleaning and exam( totaling $400) yet they wanted to tack on another few REQUIRED things (adding on a few hundred dollars more). I refused and they dismissed me....Im still in shock, just wow.
I am so happy with my care at this location. The office was so friendly, got me in for an exam, X-rays, cleaning AND wisdom teeth removal! All after making 1 phone call earlier in the day! I am not used to offices giving same day treatment, but this office and dr patel we’re so kind to help me out in every which way possible! Thank you!
I’m terrified of the dentist. Micaela made me feel so comfortable. I had to go back today for an adjustment and she took her time and took excellent care of me and addressed the problem I was having. She could not have made it a better experience. Thanks so much Micaela!!
The absolute worst experience I have ever had going to the dentist. Staff was ok. I had some pain after my filling and called back to be seen and no one followed up. Finally when I got in to see Dr Olson, she was combative with me and wouldn’t listen to what my issue was. In the end she didn’t know what was wrong with my tooth or why it was still hurting after my filling. I left there still in pain but given a prescription for pain meds. I went to another dentist and received the best care. If you go here you will be wasting your money. I highly recommend that you DO NOT go to Pooler Parkway Dentist.
I absolutely love coming to this dentist office. The staff is amazing and super kind. My hygienist Anna is so great and gentle and explains everything she’s doing as she goes, she makes having to come here much easier! I would definitely recommend Pooler parkway dental !
Had my first appointment today and couldn’t be happier. I love that my dentist said she doesn’t fix things based on a guess and only wants to do work if she has too! The staff was extremely friendly and personable. Kayla- I believe was her name, the dental assistant who did my million & one X-rays took awesome care. And was patient when I accidentally shifted the lens. They also went above and beyond. My son was with a friend in the waiting room, and got restless. They switched my room to have a working tv, brought him back and let him sit on my lap during my cleaning! That’s good care!!
I had an appointment for 11:40 am and was driving a hour away. I made it there at 11:09 am and notified them whenever I made it. They told me that they were bringing the paperwork out and never did. It passes time for my appointment so I called again and they finally said come to the door and fill the papers out and whenever I did, they tried charging me a different price than they told me in the beginning. I had to call back and they said they were going to talk to the supervisor and get back to me, I called back again and they still didn’t fix the problem. Needless to say, it’s 1:26 pm and I still haven’t received a call back or been seen so I left to get my girlfriend to work on time.
I recommend anyone that needs Dental Care this is the place.. guaranteed to do a great job great staff Cutting Edge technology and wonderful Dental Care they give you every option straightforward no run around thank you DR. Dimple Patel and Michaela Smith for pulling my tooth i will only use Pooler parkway dental careUpdate: went back for my check up today once again a great experience thank you Michaela Smith for making sure everything is right...
I had my first visit today and I’m very pleased. It’s been a while since I’ve gone to a dentist because of anxiety, however I was happy to find that everyone showed care and concern. They really put my mind at ease. My treatment was explained throughly. They walked me through all the details of my x-rays and helped me to understand exactly what was happening and why. While in the waiting room a patient assured me they were great before I was seen for my own appointment and to me, that says a lot about the establishment. They are on the mid-range in price, BUT so far I think it’s well worth it for the “bedside manner” I saw today. That, to me, is priceless.
Thanks Pooler Parkway Dental for your professional caring attitude. Every one was on top of their game. Great service from beginning to end and Michela you rock. Looking forward to my next appointment. A special thank you to the Doctor, you really helped me out. Ill see you soon 😊
An old crown I had broke over Christmas and I had them replace it with a temporary one on the first week of January. I was left with some discomfort, but I decided to wait until the next appointment; didnt want to be an inconvenience and thought it was normal. The day of the appointment, the Dr. had an emergency and the appointment was reescheduled (completely understandable). That day, it started to hurt, and on saturday, the pain was unbearable. I went to an emergency dentist; they reshaped the temporary crown and prescribed medicine for the pain. On Monday, I went to get my permanent crown and I asked to be refunded the $295 I spent at the emergency dentist. The administrator said she couldnt and that I shouldve called them. Im dissapointed with them. Out of good faith, I decided not take their time with an emergency visit, I was left in pain for a prolonged amount of time, and they couldnt refund a miserable $295 I spent to fix a prosedure I got from them. I liked the medical staff, but their managenent doesnt care about their clients.
Just wanted to start out saying this establishment took care of my shiny teeth AND me! All around great experience but the Ms. Micaela is who stood out. She was so polite yet very professional through out my visit. If I could give 6 stars i would because of Ms. Micaela!
Absolutely wonderful staff, affordable, great location, organized - I have had the best experience here and have only been a patient for 2 months. They helped me with a dental emergency that caused severe pain and were kind and patient - then gave me a solution. They also have given me hope again with a situation I thought could never be fixed. I have had bad experiences with other dentists (such as one chain that will not be named) and I have avoided going to the dentist because of this. But here I feel listened to; the time is given, the solutions and options are presented, and my concerns are heard. I will be a lifelong patient here! :)
Very polite. I was nervous and they made me feel so comfortable. I probably was like a baby but made me feel very comfy. Also applied Vaseline to my chap lips. Thank you so much for your awesome customer service. You guys have my business from here on out. Big thanks to Dr Patel and Makayla they were awesome !!!!
I was very impressed with the care I received. They took me in early for my appointment, they took a lot of in depth x-rays, pictures and an actual 3D print of my mouth. The staff was extremely professional, so pleasant and friendly. I would highly recommend this practice to anyone seeking dental care. I also found their prices to be very fair.
Arrived for First visit at 9:30 in December had my teeth cleaned and then saw the dentist.. Dentist said I had some old filings that needed to come out. I was in no pain but they had started to crack my teeth, so we proceeded with drilling the two old fillings out. Before the dentist was ever finished I was in terrible pain decided because of the amount of tooth she had taken I may now needed a root canal. Paid for that, but the dentist ran out of time as they close at 4:30 so she did not do it that day even though it was paid for. She put on temporary crowns and sent me on my way. I was in so much Pain it was ridiculous they finally squeezed me in a week later, I was told my gums were very swollen and give the roots a chance to settle down. We might not even need to do the root canal now.. in the mean time they ordered my permanent crowns - fast forward to March and April I have been back several times with the same pain the dentist Now says I need the root canal. Keep in mind I already paid for it and the crowns, but because the dentist decided not to do it on my original visit it cost me an additional 1000.00 on top of the original 2000 I already paid plus 350 for a new crown because now that they took more tooth the old crown wouldn’t fit properly.. did I mention o left with the same tooth ache after the so called root canal 🤦♀️🦷 I will not be returning next week I will see a endodonist to do hopefully fix the tooth that they have failed to fix on 5 months. DO NOT GO HERE SAVE YOURSELF TIME, MONEY AND PAIN. THERE IS ONLY ONE DENTIST, SO THERES NO ONE ELSE TO EVEN SEE AT THIS PLACE!!
I called them on short notice for an emergency visit. They told me to come on in right away. I stayed in the lobby long enough to complete forms then they took me straight to the back. The staff was super friendly and sympathetic of my situation. I cant remember the doctor I seen but hes the best dentist Ive ever had work on my teeth. He did a molar extraction in about 90 seconds. I didnt even know he started removing it. I would recommend Pooler Parkway Dental Care to anyone. They have my business from now on.
This office is very clean and friendly staff. They offer water and coffee. I didn’t have any work done at this office because I had to be referred to a dental surgeon but the dentist didn’t communicate with me well about medication to clarify and only spoke to the pharmacist then was gone for the day and the next two days. The receptionist then told me no other dentist in the office would help me. So I was left to just hurt and be in pain all that day and until I was able to go to a surgeon and have the procedure with the other dentist who was very understanding and concerning.
New to the area and was looking for a dentist. I walked in to ask some questions and the receptionist was friendly and very knowledgeable. I was able to have my annual exam done right away and the team of X-ray techs, hygienists and dentist did an excellent job. They set up a plan to get my dental health back to where I want I to be.
Pooler Dental did a great job restoring my dental health. I havent been to the dentist in almost a decade and just never like the vibe of a dentist office or anything. To say nonethless my suspicions had changed after visiting Pooler Dental. The people are so much different. My first day dental hygienist Jenny made my cleaning experience very comfortable. She was personable easy to talk to and did a great job explaining terms the numbers and how i needed the extra work done being gone so long. Her and Michelle talked me through everything, let me understand my charges and made the whole experience enjoyable. The 3D mapping gave me a pretty realistic view of how my mouth actually looked and the future invisalign impact picture gave me good insight on attainable goals. Dr Patel was very nice and sweet and looked very good at working my filling the next day which im glad i didnt have to wait another week for. I was back within 24 hours taken care of and moving right along. She didnt keep me waiting and was very professional in everything she did.Devon alleviated my nervous tendencies as soon as i walked in with very personable conversation before i could get seated. Hes got a great customer service swag about him. Everyone i met(Haley,Mikalyla,Anna) was all smiles and very friendly throughout the day. I guess the pearly whites send a good message from a dentist office😁. Overall glad i went and hope to continue to be part of the great service they displayed when i first got there. Keep up the good work!
My morning started with a bad toothache. I had visited Pooler Parkway Dental Care before and had great service. Receptionist at front desk was accommodating and super nice. Then she introduced me to Randy a technician there, words cannot express how professional and courteous he was. Made me feel comfortable and explained all my options. Put together a referral package for me and expressed to me that Chatham oral would be able to extract my tooth. Thank you so much!
I was extremely nervous and actually had an anxiety attack but the staff was absolutely amazing and Ive got to especially thank Dream for sticking by my side and calming me with her kind words. I felt completely comfortable with her and even opened up about some personal experiences which she provided words of encouragement to me. It had been years since Ive walked into a dentist office but I can now proudly say that Ill be going back very soon for some work. Thank you from the bottom of my heart and Dream youre truly a savior to me!
When I called my insurance they told me I had 80 percent of coverage. Afterwards, I called the dental office before scheduling my appt and gave them my insurance and also the #. The dental office called me back and told me my insurance will cover it. I also called back and asked what my deductible would be. They told me my copay would be $50 on two different occasions. When I got there they told me $111 just for a teeth cleaning. I didn’t use their service. I can receive a teeth cleaning for $60 elsewhere. The two stars is for the false advertisement and/or the miscommunication. What was told to me was different over the phone then vs when I got there in person. Savannah Tech offer teeth cleanings for $30 whoever is interested. Aspen also offer lower teeth cleaning prices.
My meemaw and I came here after game night had an unexpected turn of events and she broke her tooth. See, memaw does not like any type of doctors offices, she believes everyone is out to get her. Except this office wa not like any of the other ones meemaw has been to. There was a young lady named mega that handled everything for her. She was kind, respectful, and very informative on what the whole process was. So thank you mega for being an awesome person!!!
I had appointment for 12.00 oclock as a new patient I reach the appointment at 11.30 so I can finish my appointment and reach work..after 45 minutes of waiting still wasnt been able to finish my appointment as they didnt inform me they were short staff and waste my 1 hour and 30minutes
This place was great. The DR had an interest sense of humor that I dont think every patient would feel comfortable with, but I thought he was great. They offered me solutions and options for my dental work that other dentists hadnt. Prices were fair (I have insurance), clean facility. Long wait time but I noticed this place has a LOT of patients which is honestly a good sign to me. The rooms are set up kind of open--as in they dont have a door. But I didnt have an issue with it. I would recommend this place to anybody looking for a good dentist in Pooler.
Had four wisdom teeth removed in under an hour. Was my first time having serious dental work and when my body started over reacting they were conscious to comfort and reassure me to breathe and even take the occasional break to gain my composure. Something I greatly appreciated. The staff was very knowledgeable in making sure I was well taking care of (it was cold and they brought me a blanket) stuff like that. All in all was a great experience and the process was painless. Will certainly go back for any more dental work.
I went today to have my wisdom teeth remove. I was so nervous, but the doctor and his staff make me fell so comfortable. Dentist Mallette was super friendly and make sure i was fine all the time. He was awesome. I will definitely coming back. Im so happy that we find a great dental office with a great staff and a great dentist
Its always hard to find a new dentist when you relocate but you will not be disappointed with the work they do. I think the only downside to coming here is that you have to pay upfront but the work they did was phenomenal. I got a cleaning a crown one filling redone and another filling replaced that fell out. My teeth look fantastic and I will be back. OH!!!! And when they did my fillings and crown they matched my bite to my biteguard retainer saving me $400 for a new set!!!!!!
Everyone was so nice! Im pretty sure the hygienist that did my cleaning was named Onya, she was a real pro, I liked her so much! Haley took my x-rays and patiently answered my barrage of questions! When I got to see the dentist she was friendly and personable and not rushy, which was so nice.
My husband, Ronnie & I are very pleased with all the staffs they are very friendly. I highly recommend everyone to go there.for your dental needs. Dentist Doctor Ms Hagen is super nice & very out spoken. Trust me, youll be glad you & your family went to Pooler Parkway Dental. Thank you!
I had the genius idea of bringing my son to an appointment for a filling and it was the worst idea ever. However, the staff was so patience and accommodating. They all took turns engaging and keeping an eye on him. Because they were so attentive to him, the dentist was able to complete my filling......AMAZING!!!!
Every time i come here it takes at least 30 minutes just to be brought to the back, then i have to sit there for 30 minutes before i’m even seen. then it takes them 2 hours to do something simple like a cleaning!!! pathetic! will be finding a new, better dentist. these people suck
So appreciative to get an appointment within hours of contacting them. I needed them because of a tooth decay causing tremendous pain. Quickly determined what I needed, explained thoroughly by both hygienist and dentist. Clear description of costs. Friendly staff from the moment I walked through the doors. Dr Patel is my dentist going forward!!
My original appointment was 11/14/19, since I had the day off they gladly moved my appointment up a day. Once in the establishment, i was greeted with smiles and was taken care of promptly. I came for an Invisalign consultation, and left 1 hour later set up to begin my new corrected smile lol!! I was referred to Pooler Parkway Dental Care by a coworker...I called him after my appointment and thanked him for the referral. In turn I will be giving them the best referrals that I can. You cant go wrong with this establishment.
Visits started off good... friendly staff. Just recently went for a cleaning and to have a partial repaired. Hygienist - way too chatty and used profanity about their upcoming training during my visit. I was told that it would take two weeks to fix my partial, however when I went back for my visit they had to reschedule my appointment because they could not locate (track) the partial that the Lab sent. Went three days later and was told the same thing. They sent me a text the next day stating that I had an appointment. Showed up for the appointment and the Dentist had a partial that was clearly just made at a Lab. I asked if this was the partial I brought in for repair and was told by the dentist that it was. He basically told me a BOLD face lie. The partial was made totally different from my original partial of three years. Plus the fit and color was significantly off. I will not be returning for any future visits. Please cancel my upcoming appointment in August and dont pretend to contact me. Im all good!
I went here today because I was experiencing pain due to a dental infection. (I let things go for way to long). I was extremely embarrassed of my teeth and the situation I got myself into due to financial restraints and pure neglect. The entire staff was accommodating, professional, polite and non- judge mental. But there is one person that made this visit so comfortable for me, and that was the dental assistant ( I think ) her name was Dream. She is absolutely a kind hearted individual who went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and to ease my nerves about the situation. She inspired me to look at my situation as not being hopeless and explained a way to correct it in a way that didn’t seem impossible. I am extremely greatful and will be returning! Dream - if you read this- you are a true professional. Thank you so much!
Im new to Savannah area, I went in to the dentist office expecting it to be like all the other but the young lady that was taking care of me I think her name is Megha she did a outstanding job explain the entire procedure to me and walking me through what needs to be done, took care of all the information that she needed and basically made me feel like I was just another member of the team and basically like family so thank you so much Megha can’t wait to come back from my follow up!!!!!
By far the worst company I’ve ever dealt with. It takes months to secure an appointment because they can never keep any dentists or hygienists long enough. I finally had an appointment a few months ago and it was by far the worst experience I’ve ever. The man who I’m not even sure was an actually hygienist, maybe a dental tech was beyond condescending, rude and I didn’t even get far enough to get my teeth cleaned. I felt like he was being nothing but a sales person (a very aggressive one at that) trying to sell me unnecessary procedures when all I wanted and signed up for was just a cleaning. I ended up just walking out and being furious.
The team at Pooler Pkwy Dental has always treated me fairly and gives me an Honest Opinion on what is best for my Oral care. Recently I had a crown job performed and despite the possibility of a root canal, the crown procedure went flawless without needing the dreaded canal. Great work! Thank you. Ive already referred my fiancé to them for a second opinion on some work she is needing done. I trust and like this office. For me to say this it means a lot about this office. Thank you to Pooler Pkwy Dental. Anytime the Dentist that performs work for you personally calls you on the weekend to make sure that all is well still from your procedure, it shows they care. If you are looking for a Dentist, this is an awesome one. He and his team know what they are doing.
Please do not waste your time here. I was told that I needed about $1800 worth of work done. I had a second and third opinion from different dentists, who both saw my full set of X-rays and treatment plan, who BOTH said that all of the work was unnecessary. I was told that I needed a few fillings to be replaced. The other 2 dentists said that these fillings have light wear and are nowhere near worn out enough to justify replacing them. The dentist I saw here also told me that I would need pulp caps with each filling, as a preventative measure. This is something that is done when you nearly need a root canal. I wasn’t having any issues with these teeth but was told I had to have the pulp caps, which are not covered by insurance, and were about $200 each. I was also told that I needed a deep cleaning but only on a couple of teeth. On my treatment plan, they listed this as a deep cleaning for all teeth, which is significantly more expensive than for a few teeth. Both dentists who gave their opinions also stated that a deep cleaning would be unnecessary and the gum inflammation could easily be cleared up by flossing more. I am just glad I did not go through with the work they claim I needed.
Was in less than a year ago for a cleaning, and a tech accidentally damaged my retainer. I am back in the office to have it repaired as Im writing this review. The doctor nor the practice owner are able to honor their repair work. They have advised me that it could be only a few days or weeks that their work will last, at which point I will have to pay to have the retainer fixed again. This would be acceptable if the original repair wasnt necessary due to a fault of their own technician hitting and knocking it loose. They are not acknowledging any fault. As a customer Id have expected better and at least some responsibility on the matter.Doc and staff are nice, my review is based solely on my experience regarding this work.
Once a great office, That has gone down hill since covid. They charge $10 for a covid fee on top on what they bill your insurance. You schedule a cleaning appointment, with a filling after wiping over an hour they are only able to complete a cleaning.Sadly uncertain what’s happened at the location but I will be searching for a new dental gone for my family.
I went to have my wisdom tooth removed a few days ago. I was so nervous! But everyone there were very friendly, and nice. I asked a lot of questions, and had all my questions answered to my satisfaction. They also didnt lie when they told me I wouldnt feel any pain, so that made me extremely happy. Lol. Ill definitely be coming back to this dentist office!
I had 16 teeth pulled with 12 being on the top and 4 on the bottom almost 2 weeks ago (June 29th). I am wearing a temporary full denture on the top with a bridge on the bottom. The whole staff have been absolutely fantastic from the beginning of the whole process which began almost 6 six weeks ago. Crystal, Wendy, Kelly, and Tabitha have gone above and beyond to answer my questions and concerns along the way. I knew exactly the out-of-pocket costs before the procedure was done and ended up paying less than anticipated. And, of course, Dr. Mallette is entertaining yet very knowledgeable as a qualified dentist. I would highly recommend this dentist along with his staff to care for your dental needs.
Im not a big fan of going to the dentist but after 5 days of terrible pain I called Pooler Parkway Dental for an appointment and even though I have not been since 2016, they saw me the same day. I ended up having the tooth extracted (one of my biggest nightmares) but everyone there made the experience bearable and a couple of hours later, no pain. Very grateful!
Poor customer service. The doctors bed side manner left a lot to be desired. When I mentioned that he was rather impolite, the dental tech told me that he was dealing with a lot of personal issues and had a lot on his mind including his mothers illness. The day after getting a crown, I had to return to the office because my face was swollen and the tooth he had worked on seemed loose. He apparently drilled into the nerve...and somehow loosened my tooth. Ive called 4 times today to try to get some resolution to the tooth he loosened. I was told each time that he would call me in 20 minutes. The day is now over, the office closed...and, nothing. Not even the courtesy of a call from the office staff. And, the sad part is that I pre-paid $1,000 as I was prepared to move forward with InvisAlign with that dental firm. But, theyve lost a patient due to POOR PATIENT service.
Will definitely be back for all my dental care they are up front with prices and information they dontd play games with you and have you sitting around for hours like Aspen Dental. Instead they are very professional, honest, and patient with getting you the best care they provide and they listen to the patient needs and cares and take care of the problem first they dont just run a hundred X-rays and then hang you an $8.000.00 bill and tell you what all kinds of work you need without even getting any of the work you wanted done are the cleaning you schedule in the first place after sitting in a dentist office for 3 hours like Aspen dental does. I recommend Pooler Dental Care to anyone but mostly to the people (Veterans) like me who pay for dental out of pocket they not only take care of your dental need but after they give you a write up of everything you need done and allow you to take care of your dental hygiene at your convenience and not just telling you what you need and what they are going to do.
Not sure how to put this into words. The staff is awesome very friendly. I went in a year ago for one thing and have been having an issue that I mentioned not once but twice. Was told it would get better. Today at my visit I now need to see a oral surgeon.....I truly love this office. Just think I got lost or pushed aside. We will see. Feeling hopeful
Where do I begin? It was a terrible experience. I was told that I would need to have a tooth that was not even bothering me pulled. When I said absolutely not, Dr. Dimple left the room never to return. I went to the specialist who said having that tooth pulled would be like cutting off your finger for a paper cut. He fixed the filling, and I was on my way. Dont listen if they tell you to do something extreme. Its a money racket or a lack of knowledge or maybe a combination of the two.
DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME NOR MONEY HERE! On my 2nd visit to this establishment, I was charged $191.00 for a less than mediocre general cleaning and a fluoride treatment. On the 1st visit, I had a first time patient coupon which included x-rays, so the bill was reasonable, although the recommended follow up treatment was ridiculously high. BUT $191.00 FOR A CLEANING AND FLUORIDE TREATMENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Please . . . I also have called 3 times to speak to someone in billing to go over the bill, have left my phone number each time and was assured that someone would call me. That was more than a week ago and I still have not heard back from anyone.
I was in great pain with appointments being out as far as July. When I explained the pain I was feeling,I was immediately offered to come into the office. And when they couldn’t fix my situation, they gave me a referral that was very helpful and for that, I am forever Greatful!
Customer service is horrible!!!!!! They will not answer emails or return your phone calls ( four days later). I do not like a call center answering the phone, they never have an answer for you. I want my family with a Doctor who cares about their patients. Customer service is what keeps my family returning. WORK ON THIS POOLER PARKWAY DENTAL!!!! YOU LOST A NEW CUSTOMER WHO IS GETTING A LOT OF DENTAL WORK DONE. Why should we give you money, that seems to be what your practice is all about. When giving GOOD CUSTOMER CARE, and doing good work the money comes. This makes the patient and family feel that you are all about their oral health.
Many reasons why 1 star: 1. I cannot believe my grandfather, with 3rd grade education was able to give me better advice than the dentist here. Its too bad he did so during a call he gave me as I was already sitting on the operating bed waiting for them to administer anesthesia before having both of my wisdom teeth removed. I told my grandpa that the x-rays showed one of them peaking and the other still under the gum. He said, I should wait to get the second removed until it breaks the gum to not have so much pain. Well, after asking dentist what she (I cannot recall her name but she was an Asian lady) recommended, she said removing them at once is best. And boy was it painful as they drilled and drilled deeper, having to break the 2nd into little pieces because it was far into the gum . Even before they started, the dentist (male this time) said, the second one is going to be a little tricky, I thought to myself, um.. why am I being told this now?... Ultimately, after drilling and poking, they gave up on pulling everything out. They said they were going to leave a few remains that may come out on their own in time. Well, I took the before and after x-rays to a reputable neurosurgeon and he was shocked they proceeded to do the surgery based on my x-rays, told me that what they left behind was not teeth, and I quickly realized this too because those pieces were shiny like how mental reflects in x-rays, not like the rest of my teeth did. Lastly, they will tell you X is the max you will pay if it is a difficult tooth, if not, we will charge you less per tooth. The first one took about one minute to pull out because it had already broken the skin, the other over 10 minutes of drilling. They charged me the same for both. Of course, the max. When I asked why, they said thats just what the dentist put on there and they cant do anything about it. So I asked if I had come and gotten the easy one done first, and it had taken them less than a minute, would I have been charged the max? She didnt say anything. I asked around for prices and other places didnt charge more, or much more. Take your money and your poor gums somewhere else. My recovery took too long and was too painful. But dont worry, it should not be. It really easnt that bad, so long as it is done by someone experienced and ethical.
IF I COULD GIVE ONE STAR I WOULD!!! DO NOT go here! They will do things that they know are not covered by your insurance company and then your stuck with a bill you were not expecting! I went there based on all the great reviews and ill admit i loved the people there and how friendly they all were....until the end. Ive been fighting with them for 2 weeks now and all they will refund is 15.00 out of 81.00. This place is another company out for your money....BE CAREFUL AND FULLY AWARE OF ALL THEY ARE DOING!!!!!!!!
Strongly recommend Dr. Hagens, very ethical and extremely qualified professional. I was told by another dentist in Pooler that I needed a crown in my tooth because it had a cavity growing under the filling. I talked to my previous dentist in Brasil, showed him the X-rays and He told me there was no need for crown. I got an appointment at PDC for a second opinion and without saying any history about my tooth Dr Hagens performed a very cautious examination and confirmed there wasnt any cavity, the x-ray had a shaded area but it was due by some worn material and there was no need for a Crown. Therefore I could preserve my original tooth material without the need for an expensive and aggressive procedure. I was very happy with her conclusion because I realized that most dentists try to profit instead of saving a health tooth, she gained my thrust because she did the same observations my previous dentist in Brasil did, saying that there was no cavity and would be prudent to save the tooth. Im really glad to have found a doctor that has more interest in the patient well being than in a couple of hundred dollars more. The staff is very courteous too.The only reason Im giving a 3 stars rate is because the office really really needs to improve punctuality.
During a wisdom tooth extraction a dental bur was dropped down my throat by the dentist. He advised me not to go to the ER, I did anyway and got x-rayed, his bur was in my intestines. I tried to get my $1300 dollar ER bill reimbursed, the only way they would give it to me is if I signed a release saying they are not admitting any fault and I am liable for any future damages the mistake may have caused. I refused to sign since their dental but is still inside of me. This dentist is terrible and so is the staff.
Really like the service I received here. After a couple years of visiting I get a message telling me I need to reschedule a cleaning. I was ok with that once, then again and again. I call them and they tell me they have no hygienists and they will call me when they get one. So by now I am a few months past 6 months on cleaning. Very odd.
This is to reflect the care rendered to me by Dr. Kermit Mallette. First of all, I have a phobia of the dentist office. Dr. Mallette was very empathetic to my fears and showed compassion towards me. This alone is quality that any dentist should have to retain patients and to have patients refered to him. Dr. Mallette took the time to explain the procedures to me and welcomed questions. During the procedures, he continually ask about my well being. This made me feel less apprehensive about receiving dental care. Im definitely going to continue to be a patient of Dr. Mallette and surely recommend him to everyone I know.

Micaela my dentist assistant was kind, understanding and made my visit easy and enjoyable. Im looking forward to coming back. Dr.Patel explained everything so clearly and made me not so nervous as well.Thank you so much.

2022-05-24The entire experience was phenomenal for someone like me who has major anxiety when it comes to a dentist. Mykela the dental support team was amazing, specific appropriately nurturing and educational.. This laid the groundwork for Dr Patel who was empathic, professional and direct. She explained todays visit as well as the plan. My years long dental phobia dissipated and I almost look forward to resolving all my dental issues. Thank you Pooler Parkway Dental.

2022-08-08Amazing place, very sweet and very informational. I don’t have health insurance right now and it got pretty pricey but not bad at all especially the sweet lady gave us a discount option that dropped the price 100s.

2022-02-02This had to be the worst dental experience ever. I arrive 20 minutes early for a 12:00 appointment because I knew I had new information that needed to be updated. After waiting in my car for twenty minutes, I receive a call saying that I may have to pay out of pocket because it usually takes 24-48 hours for insurance to update. I then question why dont they notify patients of this ahead of time so that information can be provided (most offices will send electronic documents to complete before an appointment). Im then asked if I want to reschedule my appointment because of this. I had to have the wires on my braces removed that morning in order to have my teeth cleaned....so no I wasnt rescheduling. After waiting over two hours Im finally seen. The hygienist that I initially saw mustve still been training because she seemed completely incompetent. After harshly poking my gums, she tells me I need a deep cleaning based on x-rays 6 months prior. I tell her I already had a deep cleaning and was there for routine cleaning. She ended up having to get another hygienist because she was clueless. I explained my insurance debacle to both of them, yet they still kept trying to take me to get x-rays. A routine cleaning should have been free with my insurance but I had to pay over $100 out of pocket. Not to mention I didnt even see the dentist! I couldnt get out of there fast enough. I dont know what has happened from my last appointment, but I definitely wont be back.Word of advice from a patient, if youre going to allow your patients to confirm appointments via text and/or email....provide them with necessary information. The fact that a patient doesnt confirm by phone should not be an excuse not to gather necessary information for the appointment.

2021-11-24Very efficient and super thorough! From start to finish everyone was super nice...and they have more equipment than other dentists Ive visited (I like that) and offer many services. My hygienist was very good at what she does, especially when it came to doing x-rays. Im going back for some work next week and I will continue to use Dr. Patel at Pooler Dental. A+ for everyone there that I spoke with!!

When I left I was very confident I had made the right decision. The tooth was extracted, prescriptions given, and follow up appointment scheduled. 2022-01-27I enjoy coming to Pooler Parkway dental care, Anna is great and she does listen and make me feel comfortable. Dianna is also amazing and she really helps to explain things when it can be touchy. I relocated to this area and am glad I chose this dental care for my dental services.

2022-02-09My wife had an appointment there, she waited over an hour before getting called back and there was only one other person waiting. Then when she got back there they told her they were going to charge her $500 for one tooth to be pulled. Mind you she went there a couple years prior and she only paid $200. The finance lady came and told her that she could pay $300 today and the other $200 before the end of the month. $500 TO PULL ONE TOOTH! That’s absolutely ridiculous and that place should be ashamed!!
