Got off at 5 pm sat in the drive thru lie for an hour and a 1/2 ordered my food which was the 3 piece with 2 thighs and a leg. Finally get to the window wait another half an hour just to get my food. Finally get my food and drive all the way home to realized they got my order wrong. Called the store and all the manger can tell me is that there short staffed and that I can come get my one piece of chicken that they left out of my order. I for feel as this was handled right and should be addressed. People paying there money just to sit and wait in a drive thru for a long time and your food be wrong.
The absolute worst popeyes I have ever been to. The employess are rude every time I visit. I do avoid this popeyes at all cost, but its the closest to my job, so I give this a chance occasionally and they always disappoint. The line is usually a 30 minute wait for 3-4 cars. They are usually out of things. Last time they gave me the wrong order and I opened the food, touched it and let them know it was wrong and watched the girl take the chicken out of the box and put it right back in the grate with all the other new pieces of chicken. Cindy (the old lady with long grey dreads) is the worst employee I have ever encountered here!!! She is always rude, she would have been fired today if she worked for me!!! They need new ownership or to be closed by the health department. I wont touch this place again!!!!
I’ve been literally sitting in the drive through for 47 minutes & I specifically asked them to make my sandwich fresh get the sandwich it’s cold asked them to remake my sandwich they said they couldn’t because they’re about to close they didn’t give my son his drink or give us any silverware
Came here for the chicken sandwich. The lines have been more manageable lately. This popeyes quality is not as good as the other one thats a few miles away. Only come here if you dont have another choice, since they tend to take a long time to make your food and the quality of the food tastes like its been sitting out for a while.
I think this is the time that I came in to buy the Cajun turkeys had one last year and it was off the chain delicious! Hand rubbed they are a little pricey but well worth getting because for those that dont cook it is a very easy fix theyre pre-cooked they come Frozen but you let him thaw out and you follow the instructions it cant get any easier a blind man or woman could do it! Juicy and tasty last year I put it in the oven this year it was deep fried! And again it was awesomely delicious I paid 49.95 for each and I bought two this year and for those that are reading the review they have them available for Christmas dinner as well last year in my area they ran out this year theyve ordered enough to cover Turkey Day and Christmas and Im sure they still have them in the local area here where Im from Augusta Georgia if they dont have any now you might still be able to order them and get them before Christmas but check with your local Popeyes restaurant enjoy!
Very very sweet drive thru worker and manager, We ordered a large meal, which of course took a minute, They were so patient and kind, working very hard and kept a smile on their face! I love to see a kitchen running with such kindness in today’s struggles.Thank you so much! The manager and employees here should be proud. 😀
Honestly I would not even give them one star. In the drive thru the lady started taking our order then proceeded to stop and started talking to a coworker. She then got back to us but she asked us to repeat then began to raise her voice like it’s not my fault you weren’t paying attention. Furthermore from someone who used to work at a chicken restaurant being low on something does not mean you can’t sell it but what do I know.
Customer service is amongst the worst Ive ever experienced. I understand that people get tired and emotionally frustrated with co-workers. That should not subject the customer to a cussing conversation going on inside.The food was great!!!!!!! Hot and fresh. It was a long wait for it. The time they were in there cussing a courtesy could have been offered. Upon receiving our food no courtesy was extended; not even a thank you for waiting.The crew at this location does not get a shout out. They get an F for customer service.
Slowest and Rudest Popeyes in Augusta. Literally waited at the drive thru for 5 minutes. No one in front of me, then I decided to pull away. The minute I do, they start talking to the car behind me. I circle back around in-line and LITERALLY waited again. Until someone finally spoke, then the line to the window just freezes, I see 3 employees walk out and just start talking outside. I went to a different Popeyes location instead and was served quickly. Ridiculous
11/9/21 1:00pm-1:30pm Went to Popeyes on wrightsboro for lunch in the drive. While at the speaker in the drive thru was told to wait 3 times for 15 minutes (not over exaggerating). 8 people behind me and NO one in front of me in the drive. Was not given any reason why it was taking so long to take my order. People behind me asking if I have ordered yet. Told the people behind me no, I have be told to wait.This was on my lunch break hour. Never got anything to eat. So, I went without lunch due to lack of communication between the the drive-thru and the customer. Again never getting any explanation to why the wait was taking so long. I pulled off to go inside to see what was going on inside. Doors were locked. Everyone behind me had left too. Drove up to the drive-thru window. And no one would come to the window. Tried to call and NO one answered.So yes I changed the suggested hours for this location on Tue(s) to 1:15 pm. Since no one at this location wants to communicate.
I waited in line for 45 minutes with a line of six cars behind me before I got to the call speaker. It was another 15 before they let me order two items 2 thighs and a large red beans and rice. No drink or biscuit. I was given a small red beans and rice a biscuit with my 2 thighs. I complained, and they demanded I produce a receipt they just gave me. All the while complaining about how many coupons the next customer wanted to pay with. I fell asleep in my car before I got seen, and at least 2 left the line after I called the order in. There was no explanation for the hold up nor any remorse for it.
The multiple complaints on the extremely slow drive-through is for real. There were only three cars ahead of me when I arrived. Was able to order immediately the but the line didnt move at all 20 minutes after. One car ahead of me finally had enough and left. Waited another 5 minutes, which made it a 25 minute wait for me, then I finally had enough and left as well. Would rate zero stars if I could but apparently I had to choose, so one star it is.
Since the old manager left. This location is horrible Im in drive thru right now and been sitting for 45 mins and still not up to the window. The GM at this location needs to do better. Ill drive to Walton Way before I go bk to this location. Got all the employees out back cleaning up stuff instead of helping get orders out. My food better not be cold when I get it either. 5 cars gas pulled out so far. This is Ridiculous
Only one person in line ahead of me inside and 4 in drive through. I waited a good 10 minutes just to place my order and another 10 for my order. I should have known to check my order when a lady from the drive through came in missing fries and a pie. I just wanted to get home. Drove 10 miles to my house and saw my red beans and rice was cole slaw!! Called the store but no one answered.
The young girl taking orders was incompetent and rolled her eyes when I ordered seven chicken sandwiches for my work crew. She told another customer she was new but her attitude seemed like she had worked there for years and was over it. The woman who made my sandwiches however is why I gave this a three star and not a one. She had a wonderful attitude was very nice and helpful and was a complete pleasure. She was the only reason I didnt walk out of there and get a full refund. The chicken sandwich is out of this world but I cannot explain enough how important customer service is with a smile instead of an attitude. I work in customer service too and realize that the customers that come in my store are the reason I receive a paycheck if they dont come back I dont get a paycheck itd be nice if more customer service representatives realize that and appreciated the customers spending their hard-earned money in their establishment.
First, they closed the inside to customers and offered drive thru only. Due the recent Covid 19 surge, thats understandable. However, whats not understandable is the SUPER slow drive thru that took almost an hour. I waited, because I wanted Popeyes Chicken. I ordered a 8 piece meal. Two sides and 4 biscuits. What I received is a SIX PIECE, 1 side, and 3 biscuits. To make matters worse, I called up there and got no ANSWER. To say I was upset, was an understatement. If I agree to wait in line, and falling asleep, almost an hour I expect my order to be ready.....
I love their chicken, but this location is the absolute worst. The drive through is incredibly slow, but ordering inside is worse because they prioritize the driver through orders. I ordered online for a drive through pickup, but they told me to come inside. Then when I did, I had to tell them again I was there for the online order. Then I got to stand around for a half hour while they talked about being out of legs, etc. The inside was dirty, and the employees were not polite.I highly suggest going downtown or to the Jimmy Dyess location. It might be farther, but youre actually not losing time. Let this store retrain and adapt to fewer customers for a while a hopefully theyll get quality managers in and build their team.
I’ve lived in Augusta all my life and I’ve always lived right around Daniel field I’ve been going to this Popeyes since I was three and sadly I will not be returning because every time for the past month, maybe 6 visits, the order is either completely wrong or missing something I was genuinely excited for. Maybe if you guys can get it together and start caring about your jobs I will return, but until then you’ve lost my business.
Very poor customer service, employees touching her hat while taking and picking up food, never changed her gloves, service was very very slow. No greeting when you come inside, no smile, no thank you or have a nice say, she act like we were bothering her. Did a feedback and nothing came of it. Very bad service. At least the food was hot
Seems like everybody but Popeyes knows it. The food at this establishment is the best of all the Popeyes I’ve been to … but since they went Drive Thru Only you have to allow an hour to get your food.I started going to McDonald’s drive Thru first to get me something and then eat it during my hour in the Popeyes Drive Thru Line.
My chicken was dried out and my fish sandwich look like it had been sitting under a heat lamp for hours. The bread was hard and crunchy but the fish was soggy and the tartar sauce looks like it would probably give me food poisoning. It was barely even edible. I will not be returning to this location.
Long drive thru line, then when I got to the window they completely forgot my order. Not only that, but after retaking my order at the window I still had to go inside because they forgot one of my sides as well as a biscuit. It gets worse, I got to my destination only to find out they got one of my sides wrong.
My daughter and I just had the most amazing experience at Popeye’s on Highland and Wrightsboro! We get to the drive thru speaker and this angelic voice took our order and was so patient with us and just sounded like she enjoyed her job! So as we pull forward we’re both asking like who was the lady that took our order? And her name is Kesha! Not only her but the lady that took our payment was just as sweet and her name is Chris! It may not be much to some but when you feel the love from start to finish, it definitely makes a difference in the food! And yes it was hot and fresh, and hit the spot after such a wonderful church service today! Y’all go by there and check out these amazing women! Just wanted to give a shout out to them for such a wonderful experience! In such a cruel world, that joy is definitely appreciated!! Thanks again Kesha and Chris!!!❤️❤️❤️
It took almost 10 minutes to get through the drive-thru. Ridiculous!Though,the young lady at the drive up window was polite when she spoke with me. She asked me to hold, before I could place my order. She left her mic on, while talking with the other staff members. It quickly became very apparent, they were struggling to keep up to the demands, and orders being placed.
This Popeyes location have the worst customer service and is very very slow. I waited in drive thru for an hour and a half to get my online order and when I finally got to the speaker to let them know I was here, the lady didn’t even greet me nor did she come onto the speaker. Horrible location..They really need new management and workers.
The chicken was absolutely disgusting. I’ve never had nasty chicken at any Popeyes until eating at this one. The Chicken didn’t even look like it came from Popeyes. The chicken looked old and re-fried, wasn’t fresh. Extremely greasy and nasty. Will never eat at this Popeyes location again!!!
I will NEVER return to this location. Extremely poor customer service! So deserving of a 0 star rating!I made a mobile order. I went through the drive-through to pick up the order and the lady said they did not have a mobile order for me. After I questioned them not having the mobile order, she said that all they had was spicy chicken. I did not want spicy chicken; thats why I ordered mild chicken. They refused to prepare the order and was unable to tell me how to cancel the order or get a refund. They stated it was no way that they could refund the money at the location. I called customer service and was given a ticket number in which she stated they would request a refund.Needless to say, I left the restuarant with no food and they kept my $31+. I had to go to another restaurant and spend another $30 to feed my family for the night, due to me making the poor choice to take a day off from cooking and go to Popeyes.This entire ordeal was ridiculous. Im not understanding why they were unable to cook more chicken if I ordered 30 to 45 minutes before they closed. Why could the order not be canceled and my money be refunded immediately? The money was immediately taken for the order. Why is the money taken out of my account although the order isnt completed? How long will it take to get a refund? So many questions and no answers. The only answer I got for any questions from the person taking the order, the manager, and the customer service representative was I dont know.It would be greatly appreciated to speak with someone that does know something.
Everything exists in 2 different ways. This popeyes is no exception. Its a coin flip on the service every time I come here. Its either amazing all the way around, or my red beans are sour and the lady in the window hates me and her life. There is no in-between. The same goes for the chicken. Its either hot and fresh, or someone looked at the tender and prayed it would cook itself. Advise caution when choosing this location, prepare for the best or worst experience in fast food.
Good food! Since trying it a year ago is alwaysa great place to go thats out of the norm. Those location has really slow service tho, took 40 minutes from the time I pulled into the drive through till I got my order, not really ideal for lunch breaks, so not sure what the problem was here, others are pretty quick tho.
I couldnt hear the person speaking at the speaker, and was yelled at when I asked them to repeat themselves. The coke I was served was brown and had ice in it. It also made me actually gag when I tried to drink it. The chicken was cooked sometime in the mid to late ninties and has been sitting under a heat lamp ever since. Save yourself the trouble and just look for something someone threw out the window nearby; the quality will be exactly on par.
I never like to give bad reviews to anyone because I believe everyone works hard at there job. But the girl at the cash register who were taking orders from customers was the slowest Ive ever seen working at any fast food. She spoke in a very low tone and I had to ask her to repeat herself several times. Even the customers behind me was convinced that she did not care about serving customers. This was horrible service. She needs to be taught how to deal with the public. No communication skills. No, may I help you. No, thank you. No, Sorry for the wait. Body language said it all about her motive. She is not a right fit for Popeyes service skill set.
I cannot express my disappointment with this location. Understaffed, filthy dirty, every booth and table had trash and food on it. The manager was having some sort of a problem that he insisted on carrying out in front of the line waiting. When I was finally able to place my order I went to get some sweet tea and it was empty. I asked the manager if they had any in the back and he came out and took them empty container and never came back. I have finished my meal and written this review and there is still no sweet tea. I will not be returning and I suggest everyone else steer clear as well. This is not a well run establishment on any level. Beware.
If I could give zero I would. Besides being the slowest Ive seen, most of the workers are completely rude. The amount of orders theyve lost due to this should be a sign somethings wrong. I was told as a delivery driver I need to wait in line all of sudden when at every Popeyes or any restaurant we go to the pick up area. We dont need to place an order. Theres a reason no driver wants to take orders here. Horribly
I waited a total of 28mins for my food. I went through the drive thru yesterday around 4p and order a sandwich with no pickles. It took about 10 mins just to get to the window to pay. Then i was told to pyll forward while my food cooked, which i understood. I sat there for another 15mins until i went inside myself to see where my food was...it was already bagged up just sitting there😡 so of course when I tasted my fries they were luke warm but i didnt want to wait anymore and left. Then on top of that my sandwich had pickles on it! I was already omw home when i realized that
This place truly lacks quality of service. I understand people get jobs because of the need for financial stability, but if you do not want to work please save customers the brute of your laziness and unconsideration. Thirty minutes later I still havent received my order. It is called fast food. If I had thirty minutes to give, I would have chosen a well cooked steak over fried chicken.
The worst in history, sat in line for 30 just to look at my food sitting next to the register for another 5 minutes before they tried to hand it to me which I gladly declined, ask for a sweet tea they brought a cup out the back with tea in it and poured in my cup right in front of me and when I said I didnt want it they got upset. Jokes everyone who takes part in this establishment should be reevaluated, not built for customer service. Sucked.
I ordered a 10 pc spicy and 2 surf & turfs. When I ordered this there was spicy chicken and mild chicken already done. Nearly 20 minutes later. I asked the young lady whats the issue with my order. She hands my ticket to the guy who took my order saying she neen here awhile you fix it! At this time there is no spicy chicken and none dropped! There were about 10 or 12 people working. The lobby was a mess, no tea, no napkins, tables dirty, drink area was a mess and the floor was very dirty. The lil guy fixing my food turns to me and says will you take mild, I said no! Thats why I ordered spicy. Oh i forgot to mention there was a 15 min wait for biscuits. I told him to tell the manager to come on ( because I needed a refund) . The works were not organized or instructed to do anything but stay in their stations 🤔. No effort was made to get the staff to work as a team to get these orders out with no wait or substitutions. This experience I had was horrible and I blame management not the workers! Ended up going to bed hungry and upset!! Worse experience ever! So dont ever order chicken on a Friday night around 9:52pm.
While the chicken sandwich is delicious, the service and atmosphere is lacking. If they had the hustle and “my pleasure” attitude of Chick-fil-a, I might enjoy being there. I’ve never spent more than 5 minutes in a CFA drive through, but a Popeyes drive through is a 15 minute affair minimum.
Management, specifically Julia, and team member, specifically Marrissa, were unhelpful and extremely rude and unprofessional. After receiving poor service, and requesting corporates number, I was informed by BOTH, they do not have a corporate number for complaints. After waiting 40 minutes for assistance, I left without my order and without corporates number. That said, I had to Google the number. Its shameful customers arent being allowed to voice their grievances by the staff.
Confused staff...chicken was not done fully. No buscuits with our orders. Could not hear anything in drive thru. Talked to other employees rather than making sure my order was taken correctly. Fries were cold and were not the size they were supposed to be for a double order. I wont be returning especially if I get food poisoning.
After reading through some of the reviews I agree Popeyes is the slowest fastfood establishment I have ever been to. Zaxbys is faster and they have a sign posted that says we are not a fast food establishment. It took almost ten minutes for them to take my order at the drive-thru, then you wait another ten minutes to get your food. At the window there are seven or eight people suppose to working ,but arent really doing anything besides goofing off. Ive seen elderly people move faster.The thing that gets me is after all that time my side item was not even hot it was just a tad warm and on top of it they didnt fill the cup up just half way,but charge for the whole thing.The chicken fingers were the only thing that was hot. Popeyes need to do better. I am not sure if I will return to this location.
I would not recommend no one to go there around 3 and 3:30 because the lions always long I wouldnt I went through drive-through first with my order so I got out of line and came on the inside and I waited 45 minutes to get my order taken no harness the same gloves that are fixing food with their taking orders with and then when I get my food home its cold Popeyes
The only reason I gave this location on Wrightsboro Rd. another chance and went back at a different time of day is because I assumed the last visit wasnt so great because they were busy. Customer service at this location is seriously lacking!! This time, I went back half an hour after they opened when it would be less customers and it was still bad. The drive thru person was not friendly, never offered a greeting of any kind and walked away from the window without saying a word, not telling me to pull up, or my order was coming....nothing. When she did return a few minutes later, still no courtesy. She just handed me the bag and went back to talking to a co-worker. This is a location I will not return to. Awful service! Please find another location to visit here in Augusta and avoid this one.
Had to edit my review to talk about the worse experience my family had with this place, waited in drive thru 30 mins thats 15 mins for our order to be placed and another 15 to receive what I could call the worst chicken Ive ever had served to me. Greased out half done breast husband hand to place in the oven to cook all the way. The entire box of chicken was a nasty mess. And customer service is a 2 outta 10, Dont waste your time or $ here.
In 7 years of living nearby and using this location, I have never had my order correct and unfortunately due to how close they are to my home, I have given them WAY more chances than I should have. What happened tonight takes the cake though, and I will not be back.First, As we are placing the order they dont have 4 different side order choices saying We are out, what else would you want? We are out of that too. Oh I am sorry that as well. Let me check, no out of that as well. Each time. I finally said, Well actually there is nothing else on your menu they can can eat, so I guess just give them the meat and no side? Then, We Order a large red beans with no rice. So we have put in an order for 1 kids meal that was turned into just meat. Then, ordered a large red beans with no rice. After an HOUR of waiting, we are told, Oh we are out of red beans too.ARE YOU KIDDING ME? Did you have them when I placed the order an hour ago? Yes but now were out? So because you had me wait an hour at a fast food restaurant you gave away what should have been my food? Just give me my money back.Let me take you down the usual mistakes too:They dont know the difference between white meat and dark meat.They often mix up the spicy and regular meats.They are always out of something (meaning they didnt make it that day).They dont know what no rice because there is an allergy means.They dont know that they work at a fast food restaurant. It always takes 30-60 minutes to get an order.They rarely have any of their special, whatever it is... meat, seafood, dessert, etc.They also never put the right sauce in the bag.I genuinely have never had an order correct and have had to go back or call back every single time I have ordered something there.Do yourself a favor like I am going to do from now on and just go somewhere else.It isnt worth the time and hassle.
All of the popeyes in Augusta, Ga has EXTREMELY POOR MANAGEMENT STAFF which has lead to lazy, unprofessional, untidy, crew members as well as the leaders in position. Customer service is slow and very poor with simple request from guests aka customers. The care and passion starting with the management going down is not there and havent been there for the entire staff at all locations in the Augusta, Ga area for years now. There is little to no improvement with different managers coming in and out of the company throughout the different locations for years. Customers are NOT happy. The appearance of the restaurants are poor and the speed is slow whether the business pace is slow or fast. Honestly, how did these leaders get into these positions? These are the WRONG and WORSE people for the job but because this is a chained and franchised company as long as money is being made corporate doesnt care down to district and simply local general managers. All are unorganized and managers are not leading their shifts but reacting poorly. Its a disgrace to the fastfood and customer service/ hospitality in general. I was just refunded a large drink because one of the managers on duty didnt want to make me an Arnold palmer from her drive thru drink station area. A prime example of lazy and poor customer service and lack of care or passion for her job or customers in a simple situation as such. Please improve drastically.
Looks like they offer free delivery based on their app; however, I did a comparison of having it delivered and picking it up myself and there was about $2 difference in price plus tip so i guess its not too bad either way you decide to do it because who doesnt like Popeyes?
Im a regular at this popeyes because its so close to my neighborhood, and have been going consistently for about a year. I have more awful experiences than positive ones. If not for convenience, I would choose otherwise. But I usually go at about 10am, to get breakfast, breakfast ends at 10:30, more often than not, Im told that we are out of etc instead of cooking more the requested item, with 15plus minutes until changeover is completed. On several occasions, the restaurant has turned numerous customers away during changeover due to sheer laziness. Once, I and two other women spent an entire lunch break sitting in the drive thru due to issues that employees were having and we couldnt leave because the drive thru blocks you in once you enter th ed line. It got so bad that they customers in line behind me exited their vehicle to walk up to the window and complain. Hope the staff gets it together soon.
Had to wait just over 10 minutes in the drive thru as the 3rd car in line. I figured the first car must have had a huge order but when they finally got their order it was in a tiny bag. And, since I waited so long, my order was cold (even though the girl told me it wouldn’t be). Going to Chick-fil-a next time!! 🙇🏼♀️
Always a long wait and I never get what I ask for. When I ask for spicy chicken, they will give me some spicy and some mild. By the time I realize it, its too late. Theu never tell you that they are out of a certain of chicken. They just mix it in knowing you cant tell until you bite into it. Good chicken, but Im tired of the trickery.
Their customer service is AWEFUL ! Attitudes galore!, they take forever to take a order and don’t even acknowledge the people in the line. And when they do take your order their snobby & your order won’t be finished for about another 30 minutes... it’ll be quicker if you go all the way across town and get Popeyes from deans bridge I swear !
Awful. 15 minute wait time in the drive thru. Got a box full of grease, a small wing, and a chunk of unidentifiable chicken. Did not give me utensils for green beans, and gave me grease covered napkins.The staff was also rude and disrespectful. Absolutely ridiculous.
I waited 30 minute for my chicken thinking they re-drop the Chicken as I ordered. Unfortunately the lady behind the counter lied to me by telling me they re-drop it when Ive been in front waiting for the Chicken and no new chicken got cook. My Chicken was warm not hot . What made it so bad when she finally called ,she said would you take another chicken because we dont have any chicken wings? If they re drop it she would have known from the beginning if she had chicken wing? Dont ever lie to your customers because its bad business.
I cant believe the WAIT & crowding experienced here (Popeyes) at 1pm on a Thursday! I waited 25 minutes for a 2pc chicken w/rice & beans. I was looking at chicken behind the counter the entire time!???! I had to finally get a refund bc my lunch breaks 30 minutes. I left hungry 😭.
Horrible customer service at Wrightsboro Road location in Augusta, GA! The cashier was too busy trying to get rid of us instead of listening to our order. We ordered 3 drinks but were missing one cup. When we took one from the counter we were basically accused of stealing. After figuring out the cashier had fudged up our order we had to swipe the debit card for another drink. And then told we didnt order right. Way to make your screw up someone elses fault. I will never come here again. If youre cashiers cant listen and take correct orders then they dont need to be cashiers.
Went to the one on Wrightsboro Road I was at the drive-thru window about 7 minutes before someone came on she did not say I apologize about your wait time she just said can I take your order it was one car in front of me it took about 30 minutes before I got to the window a team member never apologize for the wait time very unprofessional will not go back there ever
Its like they never change the grease. You can smell it through the drive thru. I had to roll the windows down on the way home because you can smell it in the chicken. Had to peel the skin off and pray before I ate it.Popeyes on Belair is the best followed by Deans Bridge Rd. Id rather eat greasy Churches before eating at Wrightsboro Popeyes again.At least you cant smell their grease.
This Popeyes is horrible. The cashier’s attitude is horrible has the worst one. If he is so miserable then he doesn’t need to work at a fast food place. They run out of mild chicken tenders. There was barely no wings. There was no napkins no where. This place disgusted me!
When I walked in the door no one greeted me, stood in line over 5 minutes before they spoke and during lunch hour ran out of spicy and regular chicken, which was another 10 minutes wait. For one of my orders I had a receipt for completing the survey and I was told I couldnt use it because it must be used within 3 days.
Food is good of course..... went around 1pm and they said the boneless wings were still frozen & the red stick chicken needed 10mins to cook..... was going back to the school so I wanted something that I could eat and write at the same time. Gave 4 stars cause its fast food so I dont expect top notch.
Shrimps was old.. Chicken strips was old and hard... Side item was luke warm. Then they didnt give me a biscuit. I checked my box and had to turn around, I was told by the girl in drive thru... Well we must have been out of biscuits really 👿 but you failed to let me know. This is the second time Ive head a issue here.. I dont go to this location often.. It was close to going home.
Horrible customer service. I had to wait in the drive thru for 10 mins then I went inside to an even longer line. Only 3 people at work but the only person actually working was the manager. The girl working drive thru was holding up the wall & the cashier was watching the manager drop chicken instead of trying to get get the line down by taking orders. Ill never go here again. The best Popeyes is on Tobacco Road. I never wait long and their customer service is excellent store is always clean.
Im gonna keep it real about the Wrightsboro Road Popeyes. The service is terrible (it does not matter whether you venture inside or use the drive thru); be prepared to wait additional minutes for food. This is commonplace. Frequently they are out of menu items, almost as much as Churchs. Do not be surprised if they are out of nuggets....at 3 pm. The staff is okay though if you go at a certain time you may hear words uttered that arent exactly appropriate for work. With all that being said, I will continue to go to this restaurant simply because of their awesome food. Popeyes has mouth-watering, spicy chicken, delicious, zesty biscuits, and home style iced tea (when the decanter isnt empty). I highly recommend the Wrightsboro Road Popeyes; just know what to expect.
I asked for hot chicken and was told it was but they only added a few hot pieces rest was cold. Staff was not professional at all not customer focused. People work too hard for their money and when they come to a business after a long day of working..should not have to eat cold food and get attitude from rude workers.
Wish Popeyes would put a coverlet over the outside order menu. Its ridiculous when you choose the drive thru when its raining. You would be just as well to walk in. Youre still going to get wet either way. Next time I will chose a different fast food joint with a coverlet.
Got order wrong twice and food did not taste good. Staff was not friendly when ordering. She also put our order in wrong. Ordered red beans no rice. Got green beans. Went back, and gave us red beans with rice. Looked at ticket and it said, red beans with rice. She was just there no personality at all.
They need help in Thompson!!!!Took over 40 minutes to get 10 piece chicken!!! They only have 1 register #!! Soda had to get changed in the middle of all the chaos!!! It is an joke! Need someone that wants to work not just draw a pay check!!! Needs to be more organized!!! Want go back 2 trips enough for me !!!! Good luck!!!!
My second and last time going to this location it is always a terrible experience..I gave it a few weeks and Im disappointed every time. Today the cashier she didnt speak or acknowledge customers. We were waiting 15 minutes. Never any napkins utensils..the handling of the food they were all over the place. If there was an option of a negative one star I would have....Never again
Tried the new chicken sandwich and I am not sure what the fuse is over. Im not sure if it was to be 1 breast on the sandwich,but, it was 2 pieces of chicken that appeared to be tenders. The order taker did not seem to be happy working there and was having issues with co workers. These issues continued into the parking lot as the order taker left and the (assume) manager had words in the parking lotI will not be getting another sandwich and I will not be returning to this store location.
Lady who helped us yesterday was very patient and very polite thank you even the guy next to her tried helping her am grateful because the care seemed so genuine.food was very delicious also the place was clean it was around 11 during the day lady had her hair tied at the back .Moesha I am so sure thats her name keep up the good work !!!
Ive ordered food several times from the Popeyes off of highland Ave and the food tastes great but the customer service is horrible.. went through the drive thru this week after work.. the wait was horrible and just listening to the attitude and poor customer service the car in front of me was getting.. I drove off... Will NOT be returning
The one on corner lot Wrightsboro Rd.& Highland Ave. is terribly mismanaged. Service is a joke. Have gone there 2 Sunday mornings in a row on a break from work & received very poor customer service........ and I wasnt the only customer baffled at the level (or lack thereof) service.

2022-06-29I was there on Sunday and order a chicken sandwich meal. They said they cannot serve me because the toaster is broken. I told them that’s fine I don’t need the bun to be toasted. They told me to pull to the parking lot and they will bring my food there. Guess what, when they brought my food there was no chicken, it was only one untoasted bun. So I went back and told them about it. They were not friendly at all and I called for the manager she was not helpful at all and acted very rude. So I got fries, a bun and sweet tea. Not recommend that location.

2022-04-20Ordered two shrimp tackle boxes for family members. Proceeded to wait in line for and ridiculously absorbent amount of time. I get to the window only to be told they had already ran out of shrimp AFTER my card was taken. The cashier asked what else I wanted ....I stated My card back. If you know you dont have the item, inform the customer WHILE THEY ARE ORDERING! Just common courtesy! This location is infamously known for running out of everything....including CHICKEN. Its my fault for even turning into the parking lot. 😒🙄

2022-04-29The manager refused to make my food I ordered online at 12 30. When I showed up around 1 my food wasnt ready. Waited a few minutes and not one person said 1 word finally I ask about my food, 10 mins later after serving over 10 people I asked again if I could get my food so I could leave the manager finally makes my chicken sandwich, which Sat on counter for 5 minutes, I asked again can I get my food. She just refused to finish my order the cashier had to stop get my sandwich and mac n chs to give to me. As she gives me my food manager says thats why I aint make her food.

2022-03-21I had the worst experience at a popeyes in my lifeee! It was the longest wait for sides!! Then the manager kept going to the back and didn’t help the cashier who was obviously new and didn’t know know how to use the register. I was at the front counter waiting atleast 10 mins before someone said Anything to me. It was just the worst experience ever! And then while checking out the manager walk to the back the cashier didn’t even know how to cash me out. So I told him my total was 14.57 I gave you a 20 just give me $5 I have to go. He was so confused calling for the manager no manager would come so he finally gave me the 5 and I left. I could have shorted him the manager was horrible and I saw 3 on duty at 5:50

2021-01-31I dont know what magic they put in the food but the drive thru remains packed!! Today I had time to wait. I finally purchased the famous chicken sandwich. My son loved it and gobbled it before I could get a pic. I was really interested in the new chocolate beignets. I bought three for 1.99. They come in a bag buried in powdered sugar....like in NOLA. Flavor was pretty good!!

2022-07-11Ordered the 5pc box with 2 mashed potatoes and two apple pies. Received chicken and 1 mashed potatoes and 1 dirty rice !! No Apple pies although was charged for them. Not the first time this has happened at this location sorry management and sorry help !! Wont be back for sure !!

2019-04-24The ONLY reason I am giving 2 stars at all is because of the food. It was great. The service, though, was abysmal.They stopped selling the shrimp, even though the promotion was another 2 weeks and it was on all advertising on building.No ice in soda machine.No napkins for the public.Asked for food here, and got it to go.Woman behind counter must have been stoned, had problems understanding the request for 2 different sauces.Didnt even bother to ask for ice, would have gotten that wrong as well.Place seemed cleanish, but the boxes in the middle of dining room were weird.Bathroom was horrid - trashcan overflowing, no lid on soap dispenser, and paper towel dispenser was on its side.

2020-08-09Never acknowledged anyone entering the store. Had to ask for a manager before anyone waiting was helped. 5 people in store limit-- I had to ask people myself to please wait outside, because no one was attending the front counter. I understand that they are busy, but waiting two hours to pick up my online order, prolly an hour and a half to just be greeted, is unacceptable. Basic customer service was utterly absent. To just have said,Well be right with you! Wouldve made all the difference.Also see the worlds smallest chicken leg.
