Once again, waited in line for an hour. Did not have spicy chicken, so agreed to mild. Asked for an eight piece and when we got home all thighs and and a wing. That’s not what we asked for and if you don’t have the correct pieces, you should let customer know. Last time, same situation. We will drive to Kennesaw location because this restaurant is ridiculous
Just like every other Popeyes location around metro Atlanta area, their inside dining room is locked up forcing customers to use their overly long drive through line. Im not eating this stuff in 90+ degree heat in my car.Any restaurant that serves the public that doesnt provide me a place to sit and eat inside their establishment has earned a solid boycott from me, I dont care how good it is. Popeyes/Chik Fil A/Burger King/Bojangles are some of the worst offenders. I cant imagine the money they lose on a daily basis from others just like me due to this inexplicable policy.Dont know if the locked insides are the continuing ever-convenient COVID excuse or a lack of staff but open your restaurants already.Im not going to even dwell on Popeyes having no food available more than 2 hours before closing time. I have come to expect this from every fried chicken location now (KFC/Bojangles, etc...).I suspect that the Popeyes franchise owner in the Atlanta area (Cobb and Paulding Counties at least) is a cheapskate who doesnt want to open his locations for dine in which would require paying 2 or more additional employees taking some profits out of his/her wallet. Prove me wrong Popeyes.
On 06/22/2022 I order a family meal ..which so happen that they gave me the wrong order and gave my order to the car Infront of me … I finally notice it and so as the car Infront of me and they brought it back .. so I went back to get the correct order and they lady catch an attitude, and I ask for spoon and she said “ aren’t you going home” ? …and also did not want to gave me a fresh order after the car Infront of me open and went through the order and she wished me good luck … this was so unprofessional and rude ….💯👎🏽
I have tried to go to this location several times. I know the whole is short staffed however most of thr time I feel like its an excuse here so they dont have to do anything. They keep the inside locked so everyone is forced to go through the drive through and you sit in that forever. I t took 48 mins from the time I got in line to the time I got to the window to get my food. Its completely ridiculous.
SERIOUSLY! THIS POPEYES NEEDS NEW OWNERS/MANAGEMENT!!! If I give negative stars i would..COMPLETE DISAPPOINTMENT!!! I just spent almost 45 minutes in a drive thru line to be told they only have a select amount of menu items, not including what I had be hoping to eat for dinner.. How do you run out of spicy chicken sandwiches on a Saturday night at 6:30pm? This isnt the first or second time Ive had my hopes and expectations dashed by this location. They need new management or some other drastic change to this spot. Popeyes in Hiram is most certainly a massive let down on multiple occasions.
I returned a previous order that I purchased 3days prior at 11 am (It was cold and dried out @11am, isnt that the time you open?) and had to wait for more than 30 minutes. Against my better judgment I purchased more chicken, only because I saw that they had just put it up. What I didnt realize until I got home is that it was not fresh like I thought. They cooked the chicken ahead of time, obviously the managers are not savvy enough to know when to prepare as they go. I can only assume that the previous chicken was also prepared ahead of time. Needless to say I wont be going back there. Get it together people.
This location has the worst customer service ever!! Had a bad experience with one of the employees dropping a container of sweet tea all over me in the drive thru then laughing and saying ops. I asked for the manager and she was rude. Said I would never go back to this location again absolutely horrible people.
Amazing as usual me and my family stopped by this location on Friday afternoon of this recently past weekend while staying at Comfort Inn and Suites in Villa Rica for a family reunion, I used to live in Paulding County Georgia and used to come this location quite bit while living there, even with the dining room shut down due to lack of help, the employees went above and beyond at the drive thru, definitely would recommend it if passing through the area! 😁
They were out of everything!! The food was old and overcooked like it had been leftover from lunch. the shrimp was a joke and I threw it away. This place is always packed and I dont understand why!! Will only order mashed potatoes if I come here again no fried food!!!
I had a terrible experience at the Popeyes in Hiram, Ga. They are just flat out lazy. I stop at this establishment on 7/4/22 @ 9:19pm to place a order for some chicken and they never have any chicken. They said they are only cooking shrimp. I told the””them that they were lying and she says no I am not lying and then she said “the fuck”. I didn’t get her name but who ever that was working drive through at 9:19pm needs to be talk to.
I am done trying to order from this Popeyes. Family, friends and co-workers all say the same things. The drive through line is long, and they always forget or mix up some or all of the order. Then, you have to wait through the drive through again and hold up the line getting your order right.I do understand it though. The dining room is closed due to covid, causing the drive through line and things are always getting mixed up due to it always being busy. That’s understandable. But with it going on for 2 years and there’s been no solutions.The restaurant as a whole looks kind of like it’s being left to the wolves, even before covid. The parking lot has huge pot holes, the drive through signs and menus themselves look a bit outdated and the staff seems unhappy.Even with good food and good employees it’s a bit sad that there’s this many bad reviews. I hope this restaurant gets the attention and thought it deserves.
Terrible service at yet another Popeyes. Ordered a mild and a spicy chicken sandwich, was told there were no mild available (theyre the same except for the spicy sauce). Ordered mild tenders, was informed at the window that there were none, but we could wait 7 minutes. We pulled forward and waited 10 minutes, no food arrived. Went inside to check and our tenders hadnt even been dropped into the fryer yet. Asked why and got a shrug I dunno why he didnt drop them. We demanded a refund and left with no food.This is the third Popeyes in a few weeks that has either been closed in the middle of the day or couldnt fulfill a basic order.Goodbye Popeyes!
They dont deserve a star. Ordered on line only to get all the way down here only to be told all they have is chicken nuggets. We informed the manager that we placed an order and our account was charged. The manager said she didnt know about that and the app has nothing to do with them. Ridiculous!! Not to mention it took 20 minutes to get to the window.
Sat in line for 30 minutes for a mobile order. Finally got to the window the cashier never acknowledged me. Handed me my food still never said anything to me. As Im waiting for her to hand me my drink. She looked at me crazy, I had to ask for my drink and barbecue sauce. She hands me my drink but never gave me a straw, I had to ask for my straw. I placed the online order so it wont be any problems. Customer service for Popeyes has gone down.
Stopped going here. Waiting on chicken which I didn’t mind doing sat there for 15 minutes some people came in after me.They where there for maybe 5 minutes manager offered them something to drink free? Where’s mine? Then while waiting one of the girl behind the counter sits on the counter. Yup not going there.
My husband went there 1/22/22.He gets to the window and cashier takes his money, gives change, she closes the window and doesnt come back for a few minutes. When she does comes back she asks may i help you?My husband tells her he paid so hes waiting for her to bring his food. She gives the food, shuts the window, he waits again, she comes back, told her he ordered drinks too, she looks at whatever and says oh yes you did, and hands him only one drink, when he had ordered two. She shuts the window again, this time my husband lays down on the horn, when she came back AGAIN, he said you owe me another one. Gets home, she forgot the dam honey mustard. Frozen biscuit, soggy fries, nothing about this said Louisiana cooking to me.Huge pot holes in the drive thru and as you exit.
Food was delicious the wait was long but the girl in the drive thru was super sweet and just a pleasure to deal with this was Thursday night 02/17 she is a keeper I don’t know her name but her sweetness and the food being delicious really made the wait not seem so bad
Came to order. The lady at the window is extremely unprofessional and rude. When I pulled to order she said “oh my god just pull around”, and I pulled around snd she said “sit to the side” I have now been sitting here for an hour. DO NOT COME HERE it isn’t just me waiting there are 2 more cars, and the line is extremely long as well.Edit: the young lady at the window with the bad attitudes name is Serenity
Ordered on the app for pickup and pulled up to locked doors. When I signaled for someone in the drive thru window, the guy had a disgusted look as to say what? I told him I had a pick up order and he tells me its drive thru only. I took time out to avoid the drive thru and save time as I just came in from a 4 hour trip. Super long line that I spent 30 extra mins being in and we tell them that we ordered onine and asked for no ice and the girl rudely just said pull around without saying ok or something making it seem like she didnt care.. We got our food and I got mashed potatoes instead coleslaw which I absolutely hated! I didnt bother trying to change it as I stated earlier the doors were locked and they seem like they dont want our service. Dont do it unless you love rude service and the wrong items
Sat in the line for more than 30 minutes it was 6:00 when I arrived just for me to get at the window to tell me they only have chicken sandwiches, shrimp,red beans and rice and apple pies they close at 6:30 🙄was totally a waste of time just go to Chick-fil-A y’all they have better hospitality
This Popeyes is very nasty and the customer service here is horrible I came in for a mobile order when I went inside I see a roach crawling where the drink machine is I also was waiting a very long time for them to make my mobile order I would not recommend this filthy place at all.
What a horrible experience. When I finally got to order, I was told that they only had regular chicken and tenders, NO spicy.... I went there FOR the spicy. Then when I paid, I was asked to move forward to wait for my chicken. If they were cooking it fresh, why couldnt they do spicy??? Anyway, my order was wrong and the sweet tea was soooooo watered down. The employees were talking about night they they went out and one girl had a wet t-shirt.... definitely not something they should have been discussing while a customer was waiting. I filled out the survey on the back of the receipt and asked for a call from someone which I still havent gotten and this was 6 days ago. So disappointing! Probably will never go back to the Popeyes in Hiram ever again. And that hurts me because I love Popeyes chicken!! So so so disappointed 😞!!!!
Went by today around 12:00pm and got in the drive thru line. 5 cars ahead of me. Waited 5 minutes and no movement. One car pulled out and left. Another 5 minutes with still no movement and another car bails. I waited another minute or two and gave up myself.As I recall, the last time I visited the store, it was super slow as well. Id had a taste for Popeyes, bit not THAT much of one.
Theyve never been open and taking orders the three times Ive been here, both as a customer and an Uber driver. If you are Uber, they refuse to turn off their incoming orders and make you cancel the order. Itll be in the middle of the day, and they wont do literally anything like their job, they just turn away anyone who comes to them. Do yourself a favor and eat anywhere but here.
They’re also slow which I’m okay with, but today after waiting in line for ~15 minutes the women taking my order literally said “come on babe, hurry up” in a rude voice. This was after she interrupted my order multiple times to say “is that all”. I was ordering 2 meals and knew exactly what I wanted in both meals before I started the order so it wasn’t like I was taking a long time looking at the menu or anything. I’ve never been treated so rudely at a fast food restaurant.After I got my order and finished my drink, I took off the lid and noticed bug legs on the rim of the cup. The whole experience felt like someone had a personal problem with me, and was trying to get back at me. I know no one who works there so it’s apparently just how they treat their customers.
Customer Service is Good. Young workers The food is Good when its available They appear to run out of the fried chicken Fast; especially the Spicy which appears to be what most customers are ordering The dining room is not open at this location on this Sunday that I decided to go there.This made for long slow drive thru lines Once I was able to get my meal; the mild chicken, biscuit and cajun fries, it was just as I expected.Overall, Good Food and Customer Service I just think they are overwhelmed in this pandemic and under staffed.I will return to this location but just not on a Sunday! I hope you have a more positive experience
Went in to pick up a DoorDash like the instructions say and as the only restaurant in Hiram whose dining room is still closed, I was told I had to wait in the drive thru which was wrapped around the building. Like, they couldn’t just hand it to me? I ended up canceling the order. Really not my problem but, super unprofessional. Don’t do DoorDash if you don’t want people picking up the orders in a timely manner. Dining room closed and not one person wearing a hairnet, gloves, or a mask. Lol. Gimme a break.
My daughter and I came here to get dinner . We ordered at the speaker and the person taking the order seemed half asleep and was mumbling. I drove around to the window and the girl didnt have a mask on and when she handed us the bag some of the order wasnt there so we had to get back in line to get them to correct it. This place is too expensive for there to be so many mistakes made on orders. Mistakes are made every time we go there. Also I ordered the new chicken nuggets for my daughters and they were lacking in taste. They said they wouldnt order them again.
I waited 15 minutes on a mild family meal. I told the lady at the window no thighs and I heard her tell whomever makes the meal. So once I get home and check the box its thighs and no napkins. Im not understanding whats so hard about following orders some people just want a check and not make sure the customer is pleased. Management should let all employees know without the customers buying chicken we are jobless
The wait is too long smh I get in line at 740p and literally don’t get served till 9p when everything is out and they’re about to close.I’m not sure why it takes so long with one person but something needs to be done. At least have the inside open!! Very disappointed 😞
The food is good. The service is terrible, though. They need to have a team meeting on customer service and organization of orders. They got no business leaving multiple items out of an order I placed digitally unless the problem is that they just can’t read. After waiting in that long line too? They need to fix this bc it’s been a problem for years now. And then when I call, the worker has the nerve to be rude?? Your bad day has nothing to do with me, sweetheart.
Probably the most rude staff ever. always forget something, then will blame that you didn’t order it when THEY forgot it or will charge you for it but not hand it to you. Also takes them 10 minutes to complete a single order. The whole place needs to be shut down and restaffed because no matter how nice you are they are RUDE. Don’t waste your time here and go to a different one. Food isn’t even that good its always old and you’ll wait an hour for it. staff won’t even say you’re welcome when you tell them thank you. HORRIBLE. even have found hair in my food. I doubt they’re sanitary.
Today 9/3/21 I was in drive thru line for a hour. I called while I was in lime they said they where short staff,when I got to the window to pay for my food I seen 6 employees ,my food sat at the window for 10 minutes before them helping me at the window. My food was to cold to eat.
Very frustrating to go to a restaurant and they are out of half of the food. The wait alone in the drive through is about 30 minutes. So to get there and finally try to order and be told we are out on almost everything is annoying. It may be a little easier to deal with if the employees had better attitudes. Then you get to the window and the manager and a few other are standing around joking this is definitely my last visit at this location maybe this restaurant all together.
Ordered a medium chicken dinner and two smaller chicken dinners with a few sides and the service was horrible. We waited for 30 minutes in line and after paying we waited an additional 35-45 minutes for our food.In this time period, customers behind us had to wait in additional parking spaces and or received their food way before ours.After waiting a distinct amount of time we went to the door confused and was met with hostility from the employees and the manager.Customer service jobs are difficult especially in the food industry however the service is horrible, communication is horrible and I don’t recommend this Popeyes.
Horrible. Not giving any stars. The drive thru girl, yes calling her a girl, was rude. The manager was rude. And I just made a formal complaint. Popeyes doesnt care nor have great customer service. McDonalds customer service is better. Oh by the way I didnt get my food be because there so called card machine just happen to go down and no I didnt have cash. So they wanted me to go get cash and wait another 20 mins in line. So Im pretty sure they threw the food away instead of just giving it away. Great job. I only gave it 1 star because it wouldnt let me put no stars.
Waiting in line for over 30 minutes only to be told that there will be a 20 minute wait for chicken & my other options are out of stock. After I agree to wait, the person taking the order informs me there is no longer any spicy chicken. There is an hour left before closing & a line of 20 cars waiting. This obviously a pattern after reading the reviews. Completely unprofessional & I wonder how this location remains operational.
Placed a to go order via the online app.Horrible customer service. The app (after paying) clearly states to come to the counter when you arrive. We arrive, pull on the door and get the stank face from an employee who (via sign language) directs us to the forever long drive thru line. Once we get to the speaker to tell them were picking up an online order, were told theyre out of sandwiches and offered extra chicken. Once arriving at the pickup window, we are directed to pull into a parking spot (along with 3 other cars). We wait an additional 13 mins for our food. Hot, unprofessional, unorganized mess. I could have fried my own chicken faster. Stay away from here.Corporate really needs to step in and keep these people from marring their corporate image.
The wait was a little long, however, the food was hot and fresh. The lady at the window was friendly and I could see staff working diligently behind her. People have to realize that everywhere you go now is short staffed and has hiring signs. Lets appreciate the ones that do show up and show a little compassion.
The person talking at the drive through when you make your order is rude. We were asking information about a few of the meals in order to make a decision and the person was very short with us. Didn’t answer our questions, just asked us what sides we wanted with the order instead. The girl at the window just takes the money and shoves the bag at you. Horrible experience.
This location is always have some kind of issue. The debit card machine is always not working or they never have enough chicken cooked for a family order. However the food is great and the employees always try to make up for your wait. The employees take the win here!
This was the worst experience at this Popeyes. I bought a chicken sandwich only to find out when I got home that someone had taken a big bite out of my sandwich. I was furious. By the time I got back I had calmed down. I went back through the long line at the drive- thru and asked for a refund. When I expressed my disappointment, the sales clerk got very rude with me and said nobody at this store would do that. So it’s my fault that someone in your store bit out of my sandwich. I will never, ever patronize the Hiram Popeyes location again. This was very nasty.
Waited over 20 minutes in the drive-through. Dining room is still closed?!?! It’s July 2021 and the dining room is still closed….ridiculous. Also, at the window they tell me they’re out of chicken tenders. Asked for a sauce and they immediately tried to charge me .37 cents. Do better!!
Ghetto always waiting in a long line and when you get to the speaker there always out of either spicy chicken or mild and out of fries. Something is always missing out the bag and the food is always cold I’m done coming to this location! And they closed early on a Saturday night
Pretty good chicken. It is good to have a chicken-only option. I advise buying only what you can eat right away. This is very good when fresh, but can tend to be a bit dry when reheated. The regular style is fine, and even the spicy option is not too hot.The service here can be slow though.
I LOVE Popeyes food! Unfortunately, at this location, the food quality is hit or miss. I have had hot, succulent chicken, but Ive also been served cold, rubbery chicken. The same goes for my favorite red beans and rice, as well as the biscuits. And if they were a bit more friendly, like Chick-fil-A down the street, I might have given them four stars. Maybe theyll get better. I sure hope so.
Am so very disappointed in my experience again. My order was to be ready at 605pm est. we didn’t get it until well after 630pm. The staff did not care that we had to wait 30 minutes and when I asked for sauces they told me it was going to cost me more. I already paid 45 dollars for this food and they couldn’t give me any sauce for my 20 pieces of chicken?!? Then I was not given the right amount of biscuits but I was not going back in there to be disrespected again. This is the second time we have had an awful experience and unfortunately we will not be returning. The staff also was not following any food handling safety precautions no gloves and throwing tongs for food wherever they felt like it. Pretty sad and not to mention wearing their masks under their nose and barely over their mouths.
It’s insane to have an option to order online and pick up but you can’t enter inside!!!! You have to wait in the long Drive-thru line that you tried to avoid from getting in. This location needs to do better cause that’s crazy. If there was an option to cancel I would’ve as soon as I was told I couldn’t go in. I waited 40 minutes in line for something that was suppose to be fast and convenient. I was better off doing Uber eats.
After ordering by mobile... 9 cars in front of me just to get to the window to finally get my food... I still had to pull into a spot just to have to cut thru in the dt BC they didnt give me a fork. Thank goodness I was on an hour lunch... But unfortunately, I was 3 mins late getting back. Love the food but JC!!!
Just left the location I ordered 4 whole chicken wings, got to the window the young lady said you got the 4 piece snack I said if that’s 4 whole chicken wings she said my manager took the order it’s right, something told me to open my box’s before pulling off in the box 4 chicken legs, I said this is a box of legs. The manager said I took the order you said legs I said ma’am I know what I ordered and don’t order legs I get wings every time I order I know what I ordered she repeated again you ordered legs!!! I said are you going tell me what I ordered, can I get my chicken wings please so I can go.. why would you tell me what I ordered it’s just chicken..very unprofessional with no apology.
4 months ago I rated this location with 4 stars, but as of last week my views have changed dramatically. My last experience was a disaster and for a reason that could have been avoided. My husband and I stopped at the Hiram location at or around 530 pm on a Monday to findout that the lobby was closed to customers which was understandable due to Covid, as we proceeded to go thru the drive thru there was a line and we waited patiently until it was our turn to place our order. Once we approached the microphone to order there was no greeting so we waited a few seconds or so still no greeting at this point my husband said I think the speaker maybe broken, so I in turn said Hello still no response so we decided to drive to the window to see if there was a problem. Once we got to the window the young lady opened it and my husband asked if he could place an order, the cashier quickly said, you are gonna have to drive around and place your order I responded, I think your speaker maybe broken she then leans out of the the window and says,what yall need to understand is that we are busy and someone was going to answer but we drove off too soon. At that point we my husband and said thank you and left without purchasing anything and as we were leaving a few cars behind us did the exact same thing. Just wanted to let you know that we choose your establishment on that day and the customer service made us choose KFC to spend our money. Where the service was great.
It’s expected and understood that they’re going to be busy during the dinner hours. However, consistently, this location is behind like they’re always multiple people short, and the ones that are there just don’t care. Forty people in line inside, at least ten of which placed mobile orders ahead of time are still waiting a half hour later? People in the drive thru asked to pull forward to have food brought to them coming in because they’ve been waiting half an hour? Another forty cars in line in the drive thru?And this is consistent. Not once in a while it gets really busy and they can’t keep up, this is daily. Either they’re understaffed, they have people call out all the time, or their plagues by employees that are only there to do the bare minimum to not get fired. Either way, the management here is not handling this, and this location is just pathetic. Go up the road to Bojangles and get some competent service.
I am suprised this location is not closed yet , the drive thru has gotten worse ! If closing time is at 10:00pm , employees stop working at 9:00 pm? When I finally tried order I was ignored because employees were to busy on their cell phones at the drive thru window? Food was not fresh after waiting forever in the drive thru ? Management needs help and workers need more training, Its hard to find people who want to work ? People seem to take things for granted now .
Service was horrible. The girl didn’t repeat my order to me or provide me with my order total, instead she insisted that I move to the window. Was told to wait in the parking lot and when I finally got my order the fries for my family meal was cold, my 4 Pc combo was reduce to a meal and when I told the service rep she rolled her eyes and said that it would cost a $1 extra to make it a combo, I paid only for her to come back out with the smallest fries possible and they were cold, AGAIN!
I arrived around 8:30 on a Friday night so of course I expected them to be a bit busy. After sitting in the drive thru line I finally placed my order at 9:04 to a lady that wasnt very pleasant or friendly (which i tried to ignore because she seemed frustrated that they were busy) Then, I was asked to wait 15 more minutes for my order to be ready. I waited until 9:25 only to receive the wrong order. Once I noticed my order was wrong, I got out and went to go inside to let them know my order was wrong (because the line was still wrapped around the building) just to get cut off by a different employee who was extremely unprofessional and locked the door in my face instead of listening to me explain to her that I did not get the correct order (which she gave me). After the fact, she finally brings me my missing food. At this point it is 9:36. I waited OVER AN HOUR to receive very poor customer service and to get home to stale fries and cold food. I will never go back here again.
Today me and hubby tried the chicken sandwiches. I had regular he had spicy. They tasted pretty ok nothing to wait or 10 minutes for. The beans and rice was more like 2 beans and the rest over cooked rice. My lid to my soda was dirty. My drink was one color and the lid had splashes of another color. Lady told me she couldnt take the soda back. Then he feel out my hand unattetionly.
Incredibly rude, unprofessional, and cant get food out on time. Lady in window asked us to pull forward NEXT to the car so we ended up blocking the whole road. Several cars after us also were told to pull up and block traffic. We ended up waiting 30m for warm drinks and cold food.
The absolute worse experience of my life.. I ordered on the mobile app to avoid waiting for my food or them not having change or cash for that matter. I get there the doors are locked and I have to wait in the drive thru that I was trying to avoid to begin with. By the time I got to the window the young man told me that I had to park by the door and wait on my food. I told him no that I ordered on line 25 min ago and my food should be ready. He said well you cant sit in our drive thru we are being timed. I rolled my window up and sat there. The manager came to the window and asked if I could park and she was bringing the food out. I did, 3 minutes later she came with my food but no drink. I asked her about my drink and she rudely said what drink was it? I said a Dr Pepper... (This is the good part) she said You can lose the f$%#ing attitude B!tch. She then went in the store and locked the door. THIS LOCATION NEEDS TO BE SHUT DOWN PERMANENTLY !!! I will never patronize this location again.
This location has gone downhill. The customer service horrible, when the drive thru cashier opened the window she didnt even speak, she just opened the window and gave me a total. Also, while I was paying for my order, another employee ran up to the window to show the cashier something on her cell phone. Not only is it disgusting to have your dirty cell phone in your hand while youre handling someone elses food but its also unprofessional.
We ordered the new fish sandwich for the first time and requested extra sauce on it. Whwn we got home there was a tiny amount of sauce on it. The person operating drive-thru was unfriendly as well. We asked if we could have some blackened ranch and she said we have to pay 31 cents each. Why at other fast food restaurants do you at least get one complimentary sauce, but at Popeyes you have to pay for any that you want?
The food quality at this location is always great. Everything comes out tasting hot and fresh. I give them five stars for that. However, I find the customer service always lacking at this location. Drive thru attendants have little to no energy, they don’t speak clearly and I don’t think I’ve never been greeted warmly or even heard a “thank you” or “have a nice day.” This seems to be a common refrain for most Popeyes locations I visit. I understand bad days, but I have been here on several occasions and regardless of who is working it is the same.
You know I think Popeyes has a policy of giving out what you didnt ask for, but first Id like to say that there a pothole in drive thru that you have to be careful of. Second everytime I go and order spicy chicken, I NEVER get it. I dont understand why it always a hit or miss or just the staff doesnt care because they are too busy to do it right, but I never ger spicy chicken. If you dont have it then say so, dont give me regular flavor and tell its spicy after waiting 25 mins on drive thru onlu to get home and its not spicy. This will keep me from coming back. Im just tired of it.
Ordered online to find out theres no in-store pickup on arrival. After 45 minutes in drive thru, they wouldnt even send someone out with my order. Serious staffing issue. They should know to close the store for the day if they cant fulfill orders in less than 45 minutes.
If youre doing Uber Eats might as well just cancel from here because the lobby is constantly closed and youre forced to utilize the drive-thru which is always full of vehicles wrapping around the building.There is no parking areas where they will bring your orders out.
To call this place trash is a huge understatement. Grill employee flirting with employees didnt nothing. Front counter wasnt saying what the order was. She just kept saying here ya go! To no one. Manager came to the front and asked who is buying turkey and let people cut in front of me. Those people also bought food on the side. Extremely long wait times. I would rather drive 30 miles then deal with these people. Embarrassing .
They were supposed to open at 10am according to their hours posted on Google. I was behind another car in the drive thru that was sitting at the speaker waiting to order. Nobody ever came over the speaker. So the guy in the car in front of me got out and went to the window to see what the hold up was. They said they would be ready in a few more minutes with no apology. He got back in his car after telling me the news. We sat there a few minutes longer then he drove off. A couple of guys came out the back carrying cardboard boxes laughing at the fact that we were waiting for service. One guy dropped the f bomb a few times talking to his coworker. My 7 year old daughter was in the car. Totally unprofessional and totally irresponsible. No regard whatsoever for their customers that allow them to have a job in the first place. Its a shame that this type of thing takes place among grown men that work a regular job. I kid you not when I say that these men looked to be 30 something. Acting like teenagers at their high school job. Shame that these kind of people are allowed to work there. And a shame to whoever owns this franchise. Needless to say that I will never be back and will willingfully go out of my way to share my experiences with others in the community that trust my judgment. Good luck to the owner of this facility to keeping the doors open another year in the restaurant industry with the way things have been for restaurants during the pandemic. If you want to know who the staff was, it was the opening crew on 11/11/2020 at 10:30-10:45am at the Hiram Ga Popeyes location.
I ordered 2 spicy crispy chicken sandwiches. One was perfect. The other didnt have the sauce nor the pickles. Bro.... For real? Whats crazy, is I checked one of the sandwiches before I left the store and it was good. I didnt think that theyd make one perfect and one not. They didnt even wrap the messed sandwich up . Its as if they just threw it in the bag. My distaste is through the roof... And my sadness immeasurable. 🙄
Worst Popeyes I’ve ever been to! It’s 8:20pm on a Wednesday. I come to pick up an order (that should have already been ready) and they have ONE car in the drive thru for more than 10 mins (at the order speaker) clearly I’m NOT placing an order so I skipped the car and when to the pick up window and the rude lady from the drive thru said, “oh, no you have to get in line and tell us you’re picking up” 😳 I tried to pick up order inside the Popeye’s, Hours say lobby closes at 10pm. I called the store since the doors were locked to ask the time they close and they said they close at 9pm. A lady in there is clearly letting some people in because they’re inside the store at (8:22pm) but to us she said it was closed. We had to cancel our order and will never come here again!
Visited the drive thru for some dinner this evening and the person working the drive thru was not very friendly at all or willing to tell me anything about what family deals were currently available. Ordered and driving up to the window, I was not greeted, no please, no thank you, just decided to stay quiet as she took my payment and handed it back in silence. When she handed me the bag, again; didnt say anything and I just put my food on the passenger seat and drove away in disgust. Finally got home and realized part of my order was missing. Never again, thought this place would have improved in hiring staff that understands the meaning of at least decent customer service, but I was mistaken. I didnt even go back to avoid the aggravation.
Ordered the Ghost chicken wings and the drive thru was quick BUT the ghost wings were so little, they looked like they were from Baby Chicks. Called store to comment on the extra small wings and was told by the manager that the size was not their fault, thats the way they received their supply. I was not offered a refund or replacement, just told that they were not at fault.Worst Chicken I have ever gotten from Popeyes Ever, Ever, Ever. Its the only Popeyes in my area but dont know if I can trust it.
Rude staff, mediocre food. “Go ahead with your order” is how I was greeted at the DT speaker. “$12.70 was how I was greeted at the window”. Once the cashier handed me my card, she said “park over by the light pole, we will bring it out when it’s ready”.You’d think they’d ask if you were ok with waiting and announce how long the wait will be. I know better than to spend my money with Popeyes. No matter what side of town or what time of day, its a horrible experience.
The line was wrapped around the building amd when it was finally my turn i sat at the order box for 5mins before anyone even said, hello, hold on or anything. The cashier was rude and rossed my food at me without evem asking if i needed any condiments or anything. Food was warm not hot.
If I could leave zero stars I would. Today I found spiders in my bag. I called was asked to send pictures to a strange number. No empathy or apology. I was told we do not have spiders in our store. Yes you do... They are in my bag. I asked for a refund. No refund offered. I waited in the longest drive through line, received tainted food. Told to drive back and bring food. Second time at this location and it was worse than the first visit. I was trying to give it another chance but no, I was right...the food was absolutely no good. Ended up throwing it all away AND they didnt even give me the sandwich that I paid for. I started to go back up there but what was the point. I decided to just count it all as a loss and not to ever go back. Smh...
My order was simple. Chicken tenders- FFs and slaw- Ketchup, honey mustard, bbq sauces and Med sprite.I was in a hurry but was the ONLY CAR there at the time.What I got: Cold Fries, No slaw , No sauce but 2 lks of ketchup. Went back thru, got slaw..STILL FORGOT. Will not go back
This location is the absolute worst!!! Let me repeat, the absolute worst. They always get the order wrong and the wait is insane. Even ordering online we still waited 40 minutes. After the wait, the order was still wrong, multiple items missing. This is not the first time this has happened but it will be the last as we are never returning.
Line long both inside and put customers complaabout old hard chicken being sold. One customer was charged but decided against the order Mgr you will get your refund 3 to 5 business days customer dont I get a receipt from your machine stating a refund confusion decided against getting the hard chicken or waiting another 20 minutes for the fresh bird.
To say they are rude, I feel would be a compliment. They are down right mean. They cut you off while you are ordering, and if you call to speak to a manager about your experience they hang up in your face. There are other great locations but this one has lost me forever. Its as if they do not care one bit.
Long line, asked for spicy chicken and got regular. The butterfly shrimp was over cooked and penny sized. The twisted shrimp was like rubber. They told us it would take 10 minutes to make apple pies and we declined. Had we known it wouldve taken 15 mins to get our food order we could have definely ordered the freakin pies. The next 3 cars that ordered after us had to pull over and wait as well. TERRIBLE!
Worst customer service. NO smiles, at least 5 people in line. 2 people waiting inside for their drive thru order- they waited 15 minutes. No Rip n Chicken. If your going to advertise it, then have it available. Waited over 20 minutes for a 2 piece chicken meal....which was an overcooked leg and wing. Outside was nasty with trash everywhere. Inside was no better. At least the manager had a good meal as she came in with Captain Ds!!! NEVER NEVER NEVER AGAIN !
I get that the power is out, the lines are long. 45 min wait. No problem. But was disappointed that the chicken wasnt fresh, fries like warm. That doesnt make sense to me. Itll be a minute before I go back to popeyes. Oh and 2 overly cooked biscuits . Like dark brown overcooked. SMH
Food was good. Girl at window was just rude. Felt as if I was bothering her just coming through the drive thru. Everything was just thrown in the bag. And is it too hard to let us know where good. The absolute worst experience in my life. Me my wife spent an hour standing in line while the staff took care of the people at the drive thru, rather than taking care of the ones in the building. A young gentleman by name of KT was all over the place trying to accommodate the people inside. I cant give better than 3 stars because the service is always horrible and workers are always rude. I cant go worse than 3 stars because the food is usually good other than the chicken sandwich that has been good 2 out of 6 times. The other 4 times was not fit to eat. Chic-fil-a is at least consistent.

Well today I tried the new Flounder Sandwich, needless to say, it will not last over a month. Absolutely the worst fish sandwich that Ive ever had. You just as well Miss Paul or the Popeyes Sandwich batter without the mincemeat. That is exactly what you get mincemeat fish. You can barely taste the so call signature tartar sauce. Youve been warned!! Its no surprise, they offer in some location a guarantee warranty, if youre not satisfied, you can exchange for a chicken sandwich.
It was amazing (as always!) I got one of the spicy chicken sandwiches and it was totally worth giving up my chicken strips for! The size of the sandwich was huge! It was definitely worth the price!The restaurant was clean and well lit. The menu was easy to read and the cashier at the window was very polite!
The service here absolutely sucks! Always has been every since they opened. I keep thinking theyll get it together and realize how much their customers value their time, but they could care less. The employees all look like they hate their jobs and they are just so used to customers complaining that when you do complain, its like theyve heard it all before and could care less. Its pretty bad when everyone I know says the same thing about a place, and yet they wont fix it. I will not be surprised if I drive by one day and this place is shut down. The only thing I can hope for is they replace it with something else where they truly appreciate their customers and understand without them they are nothing.
Service is terrible, not the cleanist place, food usually too over cooked to enjoy. Gang of people working with the slowest service. Wanted to try new chicken sandwich and of course they were sold out by 3 pm. 🙄 Best sweet tea around if you can stand the visit...buy the gallon. The food is good, possibly worthy of 5 stars, but Im disappointed in the fact that they have so few vegetable potions. Literally its like slaw or fries. They took the green beans and street corn of the menu which sucks because I dont eat fries or slaw (unless its in bbq). The beignets are to die for! I dream about them!
Food was great ! Customer service tonight was awful. This whole team needs another manager and lets some people go. I was treated with what do you want? Never a thank you or anything. The manager handed me my food and said nothing. POOR management. Lead by example lady. I ordered 40.00 worth of food a least you say is thank you. They generously put a sign up at the speaker telling customers that they are out of chicken sandwiches. They know as big as this chicken sandwich thing is that they should put it on their big sign when theyre out.But no , they wait till you wait 20 minutes to get up to the speaker so that youll be so frustrated and out of time that youll have to order something else off the menu.And then their phone is constantly busy ...they know what theyre doing.

Im definitely disappointed with my last visit. I to wait 20 mins in the drive-thru line to be told they were out of spicy chicken, fries, or onion rings. I then waited forever to get to the window. Then the chicken sandwich I ordered was just a large chicken tender on a bun. Worst visit ever.
I seriously dont understand why I was served old shrimp that has been sitting under the heater for hours. The size of my portion is laughable. I did not even have time to go back to ask them to correct it, as I was on my lunch break. I have tried many locations, and I can honestly say that Popeyes drops the ball EVERY TIME. There is always something wrong. The long wait, the unavailable chicken, being served old food, the poor attitudes from ALL the employees. Im literally done with Popeyes in GA.
EVERY TIME I order from the Popeyes on 278 it’s ALWAYS wrong and then when you ask them about it they never own it!I heard the manager tell the team to wear gloves, but the team lead, I guess that’s who she was, is still packing drive thru orders without gloves!!!!!Now the cashier, well, I’ll leave that alone; I’m sure she has not yet learned how to take responsibility when the orders are wrong. I must have asked her three times, what I was supposed to have in my box and instead of telling me she went to the team lead.We just wanted our dinner. I’m not paying all that money for 99 wings and a half of a size of a thigh! They know if all the thighs are half the size of a regular thigh then they should put two to make up the one.Took my refund and went somewhere else. I wish them well, but that’s my last visit to that Popeyes.
Ordered online for PICK UP, but the lady inside told me to get on the line for the drive tru !!! Drive was long (35 minutes wait ). Finally got to the window so they can tell me to pull to the front !!! Waited another 35 minutes !!!!! People were just talking and laughing inside !!!! Get ya people together in this location !!!!

2022-07-01I had a terrible experience at this Popeyes. Waited in the drive through for about 20 minutes due to the line. Finally got to order a 2 can dine mixed classic & spicy and pulled up to the window. I asked the girl at the window for some barbecues sauce and jelly. She acted as if she had a problem with me asking for the condiments. She gave me my card back and asked me to pull up to the arrow and they’d bring my food out. I waited at the arrow for about 15 minutes and no food. I get out my car to go check to see if they’d forgot about me. Surely they did because she grabbed my food that was already bagged off the counter. I checked my bag and there was no condiments. I immediately asked very nicely for the condiments and the girl at the counter ignored me. I waited until she finished doing what she was doing and I just stood there looking to see if she was going to help me. I’m standing there and she turns her back to start preparing another order as I’m standing at the counter waiting on my condiments. I was appalled at this point but kept my cool. I said excuse me ma’am can I get some barbecue sauce and jelly she didn’t say anything but got the condiments. I said thank you and she didn’t even acknowledge my thank you. I got home to eat my food and my order was not right. I ordered classic and spicy. All they gave me was classic. To top it off there was no spoon or napkins in my bag. I am very disappointed with the service I received at this Popeyes. This is definitely a zero star place for me.

Was craving fried chicken, so I gave them another run.The reviews about the 20+ minute waits are true, unfortunately. My food was fresh and the workers weren’t rude (to me), but I don’t think it was worth the wait.

The food was hot. No spicy wings were available. On this day, we beat the lunch crowd in the drive thru.When does your organization plan to open the dining area. Thanks

2022-03-08My first time at any Popeyes - and also my last. Approximately 7:45 P.M. on a Monday night and the dining room was closed - Do not know if it was because they are still concerned about pandemic or because they cant get anyone to work there. So I went through the drive-thru, and experienced lousy customer service. When I finally got to the window, the woman took my credit card, handed me my food and my credit card, and did not offer a receipt - just closed the window - No receipt, no thank you, nothing. I pulled away from the window and decided to eat a few fries before leaving the parking lot - Fries were cold. When I got home, I put the fries in the oven to warm them. There were no napkins or forks (for the coleslaw). The coleslaw was dry and the fish was among the worst I have tasted. And it was not due to the spice - I am originally from New Orleans, and have eaten my fair share of Cajun food. Lousy service and lousy food equals a waste of my time and money!

2022-07-09Staff needs to be retrained. The drive thru line stays long, each car order takes 8 to 10 minutes. They take an order then prep that meal before even taking the next order. Their Dining room is not open. Learn to multi-task people.

2022-04-20I love Popeyes chicken when its right , however this location has the most ghetto employees working here. They only there for a check and customer service is not important to them at . I order thru mobile app and I still have to sit in long line and then stop at speaker wait some more , then get to window no hello, half of my order is not in bag with no explanation . I will not being going back to this location no matter how bad I want it .

2022-06-05The manager is very rude and didnt even acknowledge the customers in the lobby. He actually walked out of the restaurant without addressing any customer. The staff was complaining about the customers in both the store and the drive thru, as if they didnt want us there. A customer asked if they werent accepting orders in the store, because NO ONE was assisting us; the employee looked at her and then turned his back to her and DID NOT ANSWER. I waited in the lobby for 30 mins and was not assisted. I left without purchasing anything and i immediately called the corporate office, along with their district manager, to complain, because i NEVER experienced such horrible service. I suggest drive the extra miles to go to another Popeyes, either on Thornton Rd or Fairburn Rd, but DO NOT PATRONIZE this location, unless you are fine with giving money away, as for me, i will not spend my hard earned money at an establishment that doesnt acknowledge me nor appreciate me.

2022-07-04Worst place to get online orders. I have given them too many chances to get it together thinking its just a bad day. Never again! If you want to wait over an hour, possibly have your dasher, hubber, postmater, or uber eater to drop your order due to the wait, I tip my hat to you. I will not put anyone through this again. KFC will get your business moving forward.
