I can’t say enough about this place. Their falafel sandwich is very tasty; easily one of the best falafel sandwiches in Atlanta. (I’ve tried quite a few from varying establishments.) 3rd time grabbing a sandwich this week. That should tell you enough! Definitely recommend!(And a huge bonus and kudos to them for being an establishment that stays open late!)10/10
The food was delicious. The chicken platter was a very nice portion. I wasnt a fan of the hummus but that doesnt take away from my overall opinion. I still ate the hummus. The garlic sauce was a nice consistency and the hot sauce was excellent. I will definitely be back.
Very poor customer service. I came in and three guy were hanging out...the employee barely wanted to get up and greet me or even reply to my questions. Their food is good and reasonably priced but they definitely have an racial issue. So in turn, I wont be spending another dime with them again. I hope this behavior continues to work out for you.
In all seriousness: I don’t know how this place has such high reviews. I got the falafel platter and had to throw it away because it tasted so bad. They don’t have tzatkiki sauce here, so trying to eat falafel and rice with no sort of sauce was very dry. They did have some sort of tahini sauce that wasn’t very good.I see this as a fast food/Americanized version of Greek food. No sort of love in the food at all. And the hummus wasn’t good. You may like this if you’re drunk at midnight and need somewhere to eat.
Ive come here a couple of times now and enjoyed it. I like the simplicity of the food. It isnt overdone but its delicious. I will be coming back from time to time, since I live nearby and I like Mediterranean food. I suppose my review might be biased by the fact that I get full easily and that I usually order straightforward meals. The serving size is perfect for me. Theres sometimes nice middle eastern music playing too.
I found this place randomly and decided to give it a try since it was the closest to me. The food is pretty good. It’s your typical Middle Eastern menu. My food was cooked well and in case it is important to you the food is “halal.”There is a small parking lot in the front but you can park in the ally next to it.Employees were pleasant, the setting was welcoming and new. They take orders via Amazon and Apple/Google Pay is available inside.
I have gone to this place twice. First with a guy I was seeing then a guy friend. Both times the people there are rather cold and cant seem to hear even when you repeat yourself several times. They need to listen closely, that will solve their problem.Like others have said, wait time is pretty long not sure why considering the small portions. Food is medium quality not anything stellar. On my second visit, me and my guy friend encountered an obnoxious African-roots guy as we were about to leave. He was talking and laughing really loudly with someone who worked there making it hard for me to hear my friend. We decided to leave early because he ruined the mood. Not even sure he was about to order, just chatting away I might add.
At best a 4 and at worst a 2.The Bad- Sometimes the service isnt fully attentive, seeing that the major interactions with the customer is placing an order and having food delivered. the fact that THAT is the only interaction doesnt bother me, but what does is the amount of significance that is put into what IS actually done. The phone does seemingly get ignored the 2 times I went and workers preferred to be in the back while patrons are waiting to place an order. Im not saying wait on me in perpetuity, its a business and you arent a statue .. take care of yourself. Im also not saying its ok to stay away for an indefinite amount of time. The good - The food tastes really good! Portion size is disheartening for the price .. maybe knock off a couple bucks on each of the menu items because I would like value with my hard earned. When interacting with the associates Ive felt warmth. I wish the person attending people would engage people more due to their warm personalities.Though I seemingly detailed more bad than good, I wanted to give the business and patron an honest view. The good is really good, however, the bad can be improved and became actual strengths.
I decided to try something new and wanted some food from here. I placed my order online and received a message saying it was almost ready. I drove half an hour to get there, and when I finally arrived, the server told me that my order was cancelled because they didn’t have any burritos and I would receive a refund in 1-2 business days. That was my money to eat dinner for the night, and they took it upon themselves to cancel my order with no notification or call letting me know this. I wasted my time and money for no food. Don’t ever order from them.
Food is good but good luck actually getting it in a timely manner. The last visit I waited over 30 minutes for a simple order and another person with me waited another 10 minutes after I got my food. I have been a customer since they opened and at first it was great but it has gone down hill. Now I cant even get someone on the phone to call ahead and order. Often they are out of certain food or I get the wrong sauce or it is very thin like it has been thinned out because the ran out.Ill attempt to call in an order again (even though it always now goes to voicemail), but I will never go in and order!
First time going, the menu offers alot of variety. The food is cooked to order and fresh. I purchased the bowl with Chicken Shawarma. Very tasty but spicy. I love spicy food but it was a little too hot for me. Overall, I look forward to coming back a trying other items.
My boyfriend and I just ate here because of the scout mob deal. We werent sure what we were in for, but boy are we glad we came in! Everything was so fresh and delicious. The owner was incredibly friendly and he makes some of the stuff on the menu freshly at his own home. We will definitely be back, this place is great! Thanks, Abed!
My wife and I came in from the airport with everything closed. Then with 3 min before closing, we stopped in to see if hed service us, and he and his team gladly made us some food...after they had cleaned up. Might I add, without a frown on his face. I will stop back before I get back on the airplane going back home. Food was great by the way:)
I love their falafel, first and foremost. The hummus is flavorful and perfect. As for my meat of choice, the beef kabob, it has a perfect char, is juicy, and its seasoned tastefully. Its exceptionally delicious. They deliver next door to House of Hookah and their delivery girl, Sara, is the sweetest person. Their chef, we call him Chef, is the best person anybody could ever have working at their business. He checks on you, and when hes taken up the task of doing anything for you, he really looks out for each customer and tries to make you happy. Hes a kind person who learns names and gives hugs freely. I recommend them, obviously.
The food is alright. I like the fries. But I’m still not over the fact that I got my first boot while parking in the only available spots on the lot. While I was picking up an order, wasn’t even planning on staying for a while. I felt so scammed and played. Some spiteful feud between the Indian Cuisine restaurant next door, totally illegal. And I had this weird feeling before leaving and heading to my car. The owner was finishing my transaction and two of his friends came in. He did this weird smirk and I was like what’s that about?? Low and behold. I had a boot. So yeaaaah I go to Bezoria now. Plus Bezoria has some good lemonade and fried cauliflower.
Really great food! I ordered the kafta platter and it was very flavorful! I use to work at a Mediterranean restaurant so I’m a big critic. The girl working the front today (not sure her name) was extremely friendly. I will def be back for lunch since I work like 10 mins away! Also, if the owner sees this review please please please add tabouli salad to your menu! I will be the happiest customer ever :)
I rarely take the time to write review but the food here was horrible. Too much salt in the Hummus. The lamb was so dry and overcooked I could barely chew it. The salad had brown pieces of lettuce in it and the dressing had no flavor. Talk about a rip off on the portion size. There was so little of the chewy lamb it my pita. The pita wrap was also hard. Terrible...if I could give no stars I would. Ill definitely be telling everyone to avoid this place. Worst ive ever had.
First of all the service is terrible! The little Indian lady was very rude and unwelcoming. She got my order wrong and didnt try to get it right. She told me that I had to buy the new meal that she got wrong after i had already paid for my order. I was asking her what do you mean? I already paid for the order that you got wrong. She didnt try to accommodate me at all. Food was not all that. Was very disappointed at their customer service. She was very rude in front of the other customers inside the establishment. I will never patronize them again!
We usually go to Tannour, right next door, but we decided to try this place out and were disappointed. The Shawarma isnt real Shawarma. Shawarma is slowly cooked on a rotisserie and then thinly sliced. Both the chicken and beef we ordered were more like fajita meat. The sides the plate come with are just lettuce and hummus. They also charge for sauces, and they come in a super tiny container, not enough if they are going to charge for it. Lastly, they forgot to give us pita bread. The food wasnt bad, just not nearly as good as other Mediterranean places and its more expensive. Save some money, get better food, free sauce, and go next door!
So I Order from them whenever I’m inside House of Hookah. The last 3 times I’ve order from themI have had long wait times and poor food. I waited 30 minutes for wings and fries and it was absolutely disgusting.Overcook in Old grease and the fries were hideous. Twice cook and full of grease. Today is the last time I patronize this business.
First: I would have NEVER tried this restaurants take out had I not worked with a colleague with Mediterranean back ground. Second: I probably would not have tried it except that since the VIRUS hit Ive been making all of my food myself and I ordinarily eaten out 2/3 times per week so this was a welcome change. Third: I got the Chicken Shawerma Quesadilla ... it was OUTSTANDING! I would not hesitate eating here(albeit it was take out today) ANYTIME - Pandemic or not. The meat, cheese and condiments inside the toasted tortilla were spot on DELICIOUS! You need to try this local Atlanta spot.
Tried the chicken shawarma platter which was delicious!! Chicken is very well cooked with their special spice mix. It comes with a side of hummus and salad. I was able to carry out and have it at the next door coffee place, House of Hookah. The atmosphere is very cozy and chill. I am giving it. 5 stars as I never had a Shawerma plate with this authentic taste in any place outside of the Middle East.
Small spot, with tight parking and a few outside tables. I wouldnt recommend for large groups. I have only tried the chicken shawarma bowl and the falafel. The shawarma bowl is delicious, the falafel was some of the worst I have ever had. Other then that the guy at the register is always rude
If I can give below 1 star I would.Theres a rude Indian girl that gives me attitude everytime I go there. Last time she screamed at me for trying to ask a question. I waited 40 minutes for my food and she had the nurve to tell me I only ordered 15 minutes ago.I asked to speak to the owner and he also gave me attitude and asked me to apologize to the employee!! What happened to the customer is always right! I know for a fact that I was right and the employee was at fault! I will never go there again. The owner is so disrespectful so no wonder the employees treat other with such disrespect.
Placed an order for pickup here on April 26. On their website it says all sandwiches come with hummus and salad. Once I arrived to pickup my order I was told that that was a mistake. Instead of honoring the misinformation on their website they told me I could order the items for an additional charge but they would not be included. Not so much as an apology was offered. Emailed the manager/owner, not really for compensation but to make him aware of the problem on the website. The misinformation is still there almost a month later. The falafel sandwich I got was only OK so I probably wont be returning.
Service was good, even though the interaction was limited to ordering at the counter. Food was over-priced for the portion size. Chicken shwarma (they said thats what it was) was, I guess chicken?! It was black, dry, tough, and overcooked till it looked like rotten flesh. Rice was ok, heck its just rice. For an extra $2 you get a side salad and side of hummus...neither even remotely the size of a side item. Very disappointing. Do yourself a favor and go to Tannour Grill, same side of the road, a hop, skip, and jump!
Spend your money somewhere else.. customer service is not so good. I paid $18 and change with tip for mixed plate.. it was literally half of normal sized plate. When it suppose to be a full size.. I would not go to this place again. Ohh and “Pita” bread is not included with your meal.. that’s extra! Smh!!
Food was great. We got falafel and the lamb platter. The salad that comes with the platters is delicious, as is the falafel. However we were disappointed with the service, as they appeared to be understaffed and left the front unattended for a long time before someone came out to serve customers. Our water was forgotten twice. Good food, subpar service
Incredibly disappointing amount of food for the money. Ordered the half-plate of chicken kabobs and got a chicken-strip size piece of meat cut into four small bites with a ton of rice. This is my second time getting food here after being disappointed the first time and deciding to give it another try. I wont be giving them a third try. Just wish I could get my money back...
I have visited here for the first time n ordered hummus falafel and chicken shawarma. Found some rubber plastic kind of thing middle of falafel and complained to one of the servers, he was like if it’s plastic it would have melted was his comment. Was really shocked for his wierd answer such a disgusting experience. I no more visit this place and recommend all friends and colleagues not to visit. Seems like they can melt plastic in falafel n serve food here. Worse experience ever and very rude!!That is very worse asking there is no proof for my previous review that plastic rubber kind of came in falafel. And I did not get single penny refund for plastic falafel which you served don’t post false statements that it was refunded, after seeing this I cancelled my further chicken shawarma plate and I was just refunded for what did not get served and I did not touch and ate. Moreover no one will dream that there is something wrong in falafel as you have to check it before you bite it. These are the proof when I was eating I felt something wrong and took out of my mouth and showed to server. Mistakes happen and you have to rectify, do not say false claims who have experience with proof of photos. Do you think people does not have any work and get plastic from outside and do false claims at your store..? Please check in your cameras properly if they are working. That states how you respect customers and business. You need not mention people not to come to your store. There are couple of photos I added for my proof of what I am talking about. Hope people will understand your service and business and visits.
I got the half falafel plate and everything was delicious (falafel, rice, hummus, tahini, pita bread). Good portion size too. Based on what I had Id definitely eat here again. I was going to order the veggie kabob but they were out of vegetables?? Hopefully that was a one time thing...
I went there today and the food was soooooo good! That falafel wrap? Gave.Me.LIFE! Their falafel wrap is actually better than my favorite Shwarma spot downtown. The hummus was really good with the right amount of heat in the after taste. Very pleased and happy. My dads side is from Morocco so I grew up eating hummus, tabouleh and lamb. Will patron with them regularly.
Delicious food, good service, nice place to hangout with friends.....overall service is good, however it is expensive...also if you are looking for something original, it is not the place: the meat is not grilled infront of you as it suppose to be, instead it is cooked in a hidden kitchen. The spices( like most pita restaurants in GA) does not give you the orginal doner kebab or shawrma taste.and finally the bread does not have the quality of the original pita bread that is supposed to used ..
Called in to place a order the girl that was on the phone was extremely rude and rushing my order mind you they just opened so it was not like they were busy... Complete turn off if you don’t like giving good customer service do not work in the customer service field. Ended up cancelling my order for this reason itself.
Im disgusted on how these cooks keep the curtain closed I want to see how u make my food now I think they spit in certain peoples food the portion was shorter than usual and I got sick off of there food and if you here them laughing more than usual then please beware they probably doing anything to your food but next time I will sue these guys if I ever come back and they do this I think Im not coming back at all

2020-04-15Ive been here twice now. I got the same thing twice because it was delicious and perfect for my husband and I to share for two meals. We got a felafel bowl, full beef shawarma plate, and wings. Everything was really tasty! My first visit the guy answering the phone and who gave us our meal was REALLY unprofessional. He was cussing at someone while I was one the phone with him and he was late giving us our food and then gave us our order with grease and spices all over the bag and his gloved hands. I couldnt help but laugh when he handed it to me.. like what? Food was still good though. On my second visit I got a different person and the woman was very sweet and courteous over the phone. I love their hot sauce and even though I didnt express this directly, the woman was still able to tell and when I arrive to pick up my food she made sure my wings were thoroughly covered and she gave me an extra container of hot sauce for my felafel bowl👏👏 I just really appreciate her extra care and observation. She definitely redeemed that other guy, so Im giving five stars. In all, I say great place, good food and worth your time/money.

2022-02-28Have been coming for a couple years. Something changed but now they never have pickup turned on for the apps, so I have to call. When you call they act like you’re bothering them but it’s the only way to do a pickup order. Then they say “hold on a sec” and make you wait on the phone for anywhere from 5 to 20 minutes before simply taking your order. Then once you’re in there, you can tell that everything is a mess. Food occasionally is burnt now. Service terrible. They’ve lost my business, and I won’t be surprised when they close up shop.

2018-04-21Falafel bowl was amazing . I’m not a fan of the hot spicy sauce. Hummus was okay, a little watery with pita bread . Cute little place to dine in.

2022-02-20Under new management and a new menu!!! dont know if thats the reason, but food was terrible here last night! it seemed like they warmed up old food for us and salad that had been sitting around all day. Most ironic thing, they were out of pita so had hummus falafel without pita!

2018-10-09I like the food but I dont want to wait extra 20 min after they told me 20 on the first time. Thats why I ordered ahead of time. Having to wait there again its annoying. Been 40mins since I ordered.Edit : Ive been getting food here for a long time and Ive always liked it. But recently they got a new cook or I dont know, but food its not OK. I decided to give it a last try and I think this is it. This time I got all my chicken / beef burned. Only reason Im eating is because I dont want to waste good and my lunch break is over.Edit 2: The restaurant reached out to me and refunded my money and theyre gonna work on this. I really hope you do! You were my favorite restaurant to eat around work. I want you back. Work on your food and service!

2022-02-27Walked 20 minutes to get here, was very hungry. They said their card reader was broken, so I had to pay cash. I then placed my order (falafel sandwich) and sat down. A few minutes later, someone came out and said that they were out of falafel. Seriously?!

2019-06-07Really wanted to like this place, but the food wasnt even hot, they messed up the order, and the wait was long. The food was seasoned nicely though.

2021-07-24Never eat here, nasty. Place is gross, I ate there last week, upon entering we noticed the place is dirty , 80sh something on the board, the owner was like this 83 is from last year!It looks dirty the floors are dark from not being cleaned properly. We still proceeded with our food orders , we were hungry, when we saw the fries I immediately told my husband the oil these fries have cooked in must be a month old! They looked dark, dull I still ate some . Same night we all got sick, vomiting with stomach aches! Scary! Glad I couldn’t eat the whole plate! This place needs to be revisited, they need to learn cleanliness and food freshness is a must! Never again.

2022-01-28It was great good price tasty food. It was open rather late as well. I know next time to get more sauce with my falafel
