Pottery Barn in other cities:
I have been a loyal PB shopper for over 10 years in multiple states. However I am very disappointed with the experience we had with the PB store in Buckhead . While they do offer free in home design services , unfortunately they are the sales professionals who may or may not have a design background ( although they are very knowledgeable about their merchandise and very courteous) . We have purchased pieces that clearly are not right for the spaces in our home and the quality seems to have deteriorated, to return them is not an easy process, since they were a custom order. We have had to hire a professional interior decorator to help with furniture placement. After reaching out to their corporate office in SF the furniture has been returned and we are pleased with the outcome. The corporate customer service team went above and beyond to help us resolve the furniture issues.
I had a great experience at PB Kids (@Lenox Mall , Atlanta GA) today with the sales specialist Kimberly. She was very helpful, knowledgeable and juggled several customers at the same time. My gifts were wrapped neatly although one was an odd shape her team member did an outstanding job. Thank you ladies!
Our Pottery Barn experience has been awful. If it were possible to leave a zero star rating, that would be my preference. Spent over $2,000 for a loft bed with mattress. It has been a month and the items still are not ready for delivery. All pieces shipped to a warehouse and no one can seem to locate the desk portion of the bed....I guess 147lb desks just disappear into thin air....Customer service, if that is what they want to call it, is the worst. The salesperson (Shudae) who told us to contact her if we encounter any issues, just gives the run around and promises to call right back but never does. So we are now moved into a new home with an unfinished room for our daughter and no feedback from the company on if we will even receive the ordered items.
I ordered a sofa and it took 6 months to receive it. When it finally came, it was delivered damaged. They promised to replace it that week but never came. I spent hours on the phone with customer service. They set up two more deliveries, and didnt show for either of them. Called again, on the phone for 45 minutes where they set up another delivery, and then canceled it by the end of the call. Terrible experience and worst customer service imaginable for a company this size.
After I read Xuan Han review , I remember that same thing happened to us too. We got $50 reward certificate from PB and bought some stuff by using it and later on we changed mind and returned it to the store. When I returned it they told me the money will go back to my account. But later I found out they didnt credit any money for my return. They basically ate my $50 reward! So their reward is just a trap to allure you to buy things!
What a waste of money,, I thought I was spending 7k on quality and service, I got sectional custom made in March it did not fit, the back pillows were not filled correctly, it took a month to get a response, after waiting 3 months delivery, had to reorder, its been 6 months, hours spent on the phone still no replacement, CSR cannot give a damn, I have been promised help but nobody takes ownership of the issue. My whole new house experience has been ruined, Its hard to entertain when I have little to sit on, or poor quality. I came to Pottery Barn because I thought they had a reputation for quality and service but its nothing but a scam for high price hyping. I challenge them to contact me and correct the situation.
I just called PB (the store @ lenox) to ask about embroidery on a single stocking i found (outside of PB) to match my PB set (that is no longer avail in that style), and not only did she not listen well, she rudely said i needed to call PB kids. i then repeated, that i was calling about embroidery info on a christmas stocking- why would i need to call PB kids? she then said youd have to ask to embroider at the time of order-- mind you i had already explained that i cant order bc its no longer available and was only calling to see if i needed to deal with PB store for embroidering my single stocking to match my set from PB or did i need to deal with PB customer service directly- and she finally understood and rudely said well we dont do that at the store. wow. some customer service. train your staff.

2022-02-02Tonight makes the 2nd time that Ive come into this Pottery Barn in Lenox Mall in the past week and a half. The 1st evening (1/23/2022) I walked in and passed by 3 associates 2 women and 1 man and neither of them acknowledged me. I never received a greeting of any type. I went as far as picking up and moving pieces of furniture to match with my current pieces to see how I would like it and still none of them bothered with me.. And let me mention they were NOT assisting anyone. So tonight I decided I would go back once more to place the order and to checkout one other item. Upon arrival I passed 2 female associates that once again did not acknowledge me or welcome me into the store, no greeting.. nothing. Finally Eric asked if I found what I needed. I answered no and that I could use his help although he did go take a look in the stockroom for the item that I came to see he told me they didnt have it but that was all. Im now standing at the counter with him and the bald white guy and I ask their opinion/expertise on the item I came to purchase.. Eric quietly vanishes and the other guy slightly gives his opinion but not of one that would could from someone interested in selling furniture for Pottery Barn as he couldnt keep his eyes off his phone and had drifted with no interest at all for the customer. I can honestly say that I will never step foot back into this location again. Fortunately for me I went across the street to Crate and Barrel and had amazing service so there is where I purchased my dresser, nightstands and kitchen table and chairs. In this case the grass was greener on the other side.

2018-04-26The staff at this location were great and helped us sort out issues with the warehouse; however, that is where the good experience stopped. Our couch arrived a month early, but in the wrong leather color with the wrong texture option. Which makes me think they just gave us an extra they had in the warehouse rather than make the one we ordered. The media cabinet (Juno), which we purchased from the catalog, arrived on time. The quality is completely substandard and definitely lives up to its Made In China tag. The wood is cheap and lightweight. The spacing between the doors is completely off by a half inch in some places, this is not something that should retail at $1,000+. That is $5,000+ spent and no sign of satisfaction.Edit: I tried to post pictures of everything I have mentioned, but it will not show them.April 25, 2018- Replacement couch got here today. It is the wrong one AGAIN. The first couch was ordered in OCTOBER 2017.

2022-01-04Beautiful store in Lenox Mall but terrible customer service. The employees act like you’re bothering them. We decided to purchase online instead and picked up our $1,500 outdoor rug in-store from the Avalon location, which was a further drive but worth it for the care and quality of service we received.

2019-04-25Prices are fair for such well made products. Calm atmosphere, even on weekends when the mall is anything but calm. Customer service is amazing. The design team is awesome and definitely know their stuff when it comes to getting that just right touch to your home.

2021-08-19Love the store and their beautiful inventory, but the employees that were working the other day were extremely rude and condescending. I want to give a better review because of the store itself, but its hard to with how rude they were.

2018-09-18Long story short, we bought over $5000 furniture from PB, and got a reward for $300 something. We spend around $131 for some pillow covers but the sales associate eliminated all of the amount in our reward card! And told us Remember! Next time when you use your reward , you need to spend all of the reward amount!.Tell us this before you checking out! Now we lost all of our money! I called PB customer service line (Financial Department), was told that they could do NOTHING about it! So what is this customer service line for? For tracking? for checking balance? Can you do something real!Customer service is kicking balls, no body wants to take any responsibilities! I am so regret that we bought furniture from PB, as a customer spent this much amount of money, we can buy anything from other brands.

2020-10-02DO NOT SHOP HERE! The sales associates did not want to lift a finger helping me. They kept passing me off to the next sales associate like a hot potato. This store, like most in Lenox Mall, have gone down tremendously. Customer service is huge to me and I do not spend my money where I am treated as a burden.

2020-09-30Worked with Joan in choosing new curtains for our master bedroom. She was very helpful and provided great suggestions on textures, colors and fabric. Looking forward to receiving them.
